Don't touch me. Look behind you. Look behind you. [laughter] >> LOOK WHAT I WANTED. OH, you murdered me, sir. >> I need a sergeant. >> Can I have a sergeant to deny my right to have a sergeant? >> Then why would you walk on a Chicago lawyer like that? >> I don't know who you are, >> BOY. WE'LL BLOW YOU IN CHICAGO. Don't ever shopping centers welcome large numbers of customers coming to shop. But some people do not come [music] here for that. A few thieves secretly slip in to carry out their wrongdoing. But what will their fate be? Find out in today's video when cops surprise the ass out of Walmart shoplifterss in the act. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Starting with this lying woman, but the real shock was her criminal history. >> I'm pissed. >> What's going on? >> She broke my nail, bro. First of all, >> have you ever been arrested for shoplifting before? How many times? >> On the 3rd of May 2024, police received a report from a Walmart store about a shoplifting incident. The suspect was believed to be a red-haired woman who hid merchandise in her tote bag. But when officers approached, she insisted she had done nothing wrong and instead claimed she was the victim. >> Hi, man. What's your name? >> Talia Brown. I'm pissed. What's going on? >> She had broke my nail, bro. First of all. Second of all, >> let's stand under here cuz this second of all, she don't she just sit here and grabbing on my purse. Snatching my purse and tell me no. >> Tell me that I'm She got my whole purse anyway. She snatching on my arm. Snatch my arm, broke my damn nails, everything. >> She said I was stealing that I I didn't pay for this. >> I had this I had got a tote. I had got a tote. So I bag like a like a a storage tote. Put those in. So, I had stuck I forgot I had put the the candles and stuff in there, my mirror in there when I before I went into the dressing room cuz I I didn't want to get wanted to break when I was I had so much clothes in there and I had my um thing in there. I really had forgot about I've been here since 10:00 this morning. Like I don't remember. >> We made contact with the female. Um what's your name again? Sorry. >> Tia. >> Tia. >> So, you had you had like a tote and your >> a tote put my clothes in. I had put the mirror and the candles inside of it, you know, to keep from me getting all the clothes out, trying on clothes, whatever. >> And she said she had watch me since the morning. I've been since the morning. These folks watch me the whole damn time without them. >> Is that the receipt for all the items? >> Yes. Right. If I look at >> All right. >> Police then detained her to take her into the loss prevention room for investigation. There, her tension with the store employee erupted once again. She snatched my arm. >> So, none of this is paid for. >> None of that paid for. Here, go ahead. >> You're crazy. You're crazy. I have my receipt, ma'am. >> Okay. Well, we're looking at your receipt. >> I have a whole receipt. >> So, where's where's the white bin that you scanned? Or >> that is the bin that I scan. >> What about the shoes? >> I did scan my shoes. >> Okay. How much are they? >> $34. >> Okay. Why' you scan them as a $7 pair? >> Where's the tax? >> This is a ma'am. The first ma'am. Come on now. There's another receipt that she said she had, but I guess the guy she was with >> has the other one. >> It's not funny, BRO. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? >> I had this on camera, honey. >> I told you none of that was for >> Okay, I want to see. >> You will see it in court. >> So, do you want to prosecute? >> Absolutely. And bar. >> Okay. >> You can go ahead and bar her right now. >> So, you're barred for 2 years. This whole what did I pay for? What what I didn't pay for? >> Because we're watching you. >> You're watching me. But you did you not see where he paid for the stuff? I put my cash in there and he understand but none of that that I had >> at this point. Although the woman still denied her actions, the store remained certain about everything. They also made their decision from the store's side. >> Okay. >> So, you're moving hard for 2 years. That is this whole parking lot. Rainbow wings. Nothing on the parking lot. You cannot come back for 2 years. Period. Why? >> Huh? Why you >> Because No, you did not. >> Can I check history on this for honor, please? >> It's not crazy. You're stealing stuff. >> No, I didn't. >> I would not have stopped you if I didn't know 110%. I was like, "No, man. >> If you would have cooperated, you would have come in here, I probably would have got your name and you would have left." >> No, ma'am. >> Exactly. >> No, ma'am. >> Did you come around with a $7? Come on, bro. Oh, this [ __ ] >> Do you have um a list of all the things she t >> That's what they're getting now. >> Okay. Thank you. >> [ __ ] >> And I don't have any of her information to write down yet. >> All right. It seemed that with the confidence she showed while facing the accusation, the police could not help but wonder whether this was truly her first time shoplifting. >> Check your criminal history. There's more than three convictions of shoplifting. It's felony what it took. >> You don't have more than three $500. >> And it's just been kind of little >> throughout the whole thing. Well, the last time I last time I wrote a citation and I didn't go to jail and um they they'll figure out >> maybe >> she just the other lady is just getting all the items she took and then >> so I'm just waiting for you got It was in a tote for me. I would need I really forgot it was in the tote. >> So you put all this stuff in the tote bag. >> Yeah. Yeah. I put cuz I was home when I had went into the dressing room. I had so many clothes to try on. So I wanted mirrors, a vanity mirror and light. Can you spell it or Yeah. SP. In reality, the woman had also been identified as having 30 prior convictions. And based on that history, the police made their decision accordingly. >> When we get to the jail, you have I think you can have a bit at least two numbers to write them. >> So, you can contact whoever you mind before out the door. >> Oh, I'm sorry. >> That's my fault. Soon after, she was escorted to the police car to proceed with the next procedures. And from beginning to end, she showed no sign of remorse. >> Before you get in the car, >> what kind of bra do you have on? >> What wire bra? >> Okay, I just got to check on you. I got to move your hat. Make sure you got nothing in there. Okay. Check your hair. Separate your feet just a little for me. I just got to check before you get into the our vehicle. Put your butt in first cuz it's easier to sit that way. Miss Browner say what? What did you say? >> Oh, you said what? >> I got to pee. >> You got to pee. Well, hold off. I just got to check. Make sure you have a tattoo on your chest. >> All right. I just want to double check you are here who say you are. >> Yeah, cuz you don't have your ID on you. But we're get to jail. We're not too far. >> She was ultimately charged with shoplifting. Her confidence in denying everything did not change the evidence against her. Sometimes insisting you did nothing wrong only makes things worse when the truth is already on camera. Worse, this woman managed to exhaust everyone inside Walmart with her behavior. >> You're under arrest. >> On January 24th, 2026, officers received a call from Walmart reporting a woman causing a disturbance inside the store. The woman's aggressive attitude was clearly displayed, creating chaos when officers arrived at the scene. >> Shut up. >> Get your ass over here. >> Get your watch. Look behind you. Look behind you. Put your ass Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Don't resist. Come on. Don't resist. Put one hand in custody. Oh, you think you're charging at somebody while I'm looking at you? >> You don't know what happened. Okay, shut up. >> Shut up. No, stop moving. >> Ready for the other hand? >> Yeah. >> You don't have to do that twice. >> Shut up. >> You twisted my arm. >> Shut up. [laughter] >> Do not go back to jail. >> Do not kick me. >> Do you have anything on that's illegal? Do you have any knives, needles, anything sharp? I told you. Get me out OF HERE. >> LOOK, I'M YOU HURTING ME. You hurting me, sir. Sir, you hurting me. >> Get in the car. >> You hurting me. >> Get in the car. >> You hurting me. >> What are you saying? >> All right. Get in the car. >> Get You're under arrest. Sit up. Sit up. Stop kicking. Get in the car. Get in the car. Close the door. >> [laughter] >> It could be seen from that smile that the woman quite enjoyed the trouble caused by her own resisting behavior. Her actions became even more insane once she was inside the patrol car. >> Get me out of here. Get me out of here. Out of here. >> Stop it. Stop it. >> Get me out. >> You're under arrest. down when I was with him. >> You are under arrest to me, mister. >> Master, >> I can talk to you if you calm down. >> I'm trying. I'm trying. >> Put your legs down. Don't kick me. >> I was with him this whole time. >> We're going to Sir, I just pulled up with you acting nuts. Okay. I don't know who he is. I don't know anything. >> He's my boyfriend. >> Okay. >> I have PTSD. I can't go back to jail. I thought he's supposed to be >> Okay, but here right now what I have to tell you since I have you in handcuffs and since I have you in the car. No, I have to before I talk to you. >> Right after that, officers also approached a witness. According to her statement, the woman's earlier behavior was just as crazy. >> All right. That was >> Can you get back to me with her info? >> Yeah. >> In the store. She was pushing the cops, pushing people, swearing, throwing drinks around, dancing on top of the register, grabbed the bear, ran out with the bear. It's a retail theft technically, but it was more than that before that. >> Yeah. So she was in there throwing drinks around, dancing on top of the register, pushing the off duties, yelling at customers, then she grabbed the bear, ran out with the bear. It was a multitude of things. >> Okay, >> we were trying to curtail it. They almost had her out, but she kept coming back in and she she took that one off. Judy, she actually >> I saw her come up to her. She kind of went like this. I was like, "All right." >> Oh, that was her normal stance the whole time, like in a boxing motion. That's what she was doing. I can get your receipt on this if you want. Please, please. My name's Janiah. Already got 11 months. You get an ID on it. >> No, he has everything. Tell him to come here. My boyfriend. >> No, I'm not going to help. >> No, because he said he's talking to him. HOW YOU NOT GOING TO HELP ME? >> I HAVE TO TALK TO HIM SEPARATELY. >> The suspect repeatedly mentioned her boyfriend, but during the investigation, officers discovered that the man she was referring to did not appear to know her at all. >> I don't know about I don't know. I just about medication. >> I just told her I just I just told her I just keep on asking the first question. I don't know. I'm I'm trying to figure out what's going on. >> I already went to jail. I just got out. I been told him. Let's leave Walmart. Let's go back to God. I'm not here. I am J A Y A. Right. >> Yes. >> She went up to the police officer. She was going up like this. I was like, "Oh, okay." She was doing it to the off duties for like 10 minutes straight just trying to get one of them to swing on her. >> It took a long time. I as soon as a call came I came right over here or whatever. But I was >> She was on register. >> I thought she was swinging on you. Then I saw the girl. I was like, "Wait a minute. That's not you. That's the security officer." Oh, we do. We have anything for the guy or what's up with him? >> Well, he was in there soliciting asking people for money. So, I'd never seen him with her. But the other Jason and AP said he was in there asking people for money. He asked him for money. According to that guy, he just met her. Oh yeah, I really didn't have him on anything. Just her she grabbed the teddy bear right out of there and walked right out. >> So after all of this nonsense. So she's standing up here jumper over in the soft line. She had some type of drink that she threw and splashed all around. So we had to get maintenance to clean it up and she was talking all sorts of gibberish and she was running around the store yelling at customers just you know outburst and then someone said she was on top of the register dancing on top of the register. >> Did you check the register? Was she holding? >> So that's when I came back up here. Now she was up here doing the boxing stance with the cops saying wake me up. >> Just from the employees statement, it could be imagined how chaotic the situation had been. Yet the suspects still tried to deny everything. >> I can't go back to jail. I got a felony on my back. Do you see that? I found seven officers. Do you see that? >> No. I TOOK THE WHITE TEDDY BEAR and I rolled it back in there and seven of them. >> You took the teddy bear out and threw IT BACK. >> YES. THEY GOT EVERYTHING. I did not take anything. I swear to God. >> What else? That was it. Just you know yelling at customers and >> he did push she did push the one off. >> So we have assault, we have retail theft and we had disorderly conduct. >> Yeah. And she was throwing uh her throwing her drink all over things. >> Did you were you standing on the selfch checkout before or after they kicked you out? >> Before they even grabbed me and put tell me to get out the store. >> All right, cool. I got here. Anybody get any video? >> I can. >> That'll be great. Oh, where I'm going? Well, >> here's what's going to happen. >> WHERE? [screaming] Where's going? >> I made nothing but honest. >> So, here here's I'm going to be straight with you. All right? And I'm going to I mean, I'm going to treat you exactly how you act and how you treat me. Okay? Right now, the store is doing complaints for disorderly conduct against you, as far as I know now, and a retail theft. I don't know. >> Okay. There'll be other the detective will come in and tell you exactly once. I haven't talked to anyone from Walmart yet. So, another officer is going to talk to >> my boyfriend. Take me to the bus and let's go >> right now. You're under arrest right now. >> With a conclusion from the officers, she knew she could not change the outcome. So, she used all her energy to vent her anger through non-stop insane behavior. >> Hey, if you damage anything in here, that isn't What? >> I told you. >> Do we got to get leg shackles for you? >> You kick me, that's another fell. You break anything, that's another felony. >> SAVE ME, I'M GOING TO GO to jail >> right now. You have mis. >> All right. And you do anything stupid. >> Get in the car. >> CAN YOU TELL MY BOYFRIEND I'M GOING TO GO to jail? >> He knows WHERE YOU'RE GOING. >> I [screaming] TOLD YOU. >> Don't make this worse than it is. Right now you got you can get out. >> You do stupid like this. You damage anything in here, you touch one of us, you are going to Cook County Jail tomorrow. >> I don't know. I'll wake up with a smile on my face cuz I murder y'all. >> Okay, there you have that. Now on camera. What else? >> Nothing. Can you just tell him I'm going >> Do we have to leg shackle you or can we treat Will you bring you in like a human being? >> H Will you put me up against the car? Will you put me up against the car with your feet? >> Get your legs in. Get your legs in. All right. All right. All right. Now, we're going to go to cook. All right. What I'm supposed to do? I told him. I told him. >> The entire ride back to the police station did not have a single quiet moment. And as if it were a habit, she even used race to create more trouble. >> Right now, you're going back to our station. You're going to get your personal property inventory. >> I don't have there. >> You're going to get processing your principal. [clears throat] >> Okay. >> Then you're going to sit for a little bit and then the detective is going to come talk to you and let you know what the charges are and if you're going to be able to leave tonight. >> I don't HAVE NOTHING. OKAY. >> You do something stupid and get yourself felonies by how you act or how you treat us or how you damn. >> Look how you do me. You're so harsh. Look how you did me. WAS THAT RIGHT? YOU WHITE. I'm black. The do you mean? >> So your behavior will dictate exactly how this goes. >> Your behavior. How you did me exact no family. I don't get no probation. I don't get no I don't see my probation off on Monday. I see your ass in jail. I don't give no >> Do not spit on anyone. Do not punch anyone. Do not kick anyone. >> I was going to >> You already just said you're going to spit on me. >> What you do to me against the car? What y'all do to me against car? Tell me what you did to me against the car. Tell what you did, Mr. Leonard. Say it. You don't care. Say, right? You don't want to see it. I know my rights, too. And I got a lawyer and my daddy in the fence. So, you do me a favor. I will go to jail for murder right now. I will take your gun and has my cops. So, keep on. And that's a threat, not a promise. Not record that. >> You're threatening to >> all of y'all. 70 of y'all. What's my family background? How many officer did I fight? Read it. >> She was ultimately charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, and assault. Sometimes the more someone tries to deny the obvious, the worse the consequences become because reckless behavior in front of witnesses and cameras only leaves even more evidence behind. Next, [music] this woman also knew how to cause just as much trouble for everyone around her. I mean, why would I What am I calling for? >> You just said you wanted to press charges, >> right? I do want to I want you to hear this again while we're in route to our jail. >> I can't tell you that. >> On the 18th of June 2025, police were dispatched to a Home Depot after reports of a disturbance. When officers approached the female suspect standing behind the counter, she did not hesitate to admit there had been a problem. >> Did you get into an argument with somebody by the front desk? >> Yes, I did. What? What is this going to happen? >> I was doing a return. Wait a minute. Why am I even explaining this? Get the manager and let her explain it to you. >> We've already spoken with her. Why don't you show your side? >> Okay. >> So, we just want to know what happened. >> Um, she Hold on. She can't I was doing a return. She made me stand in the back of the line for 15 minutes. I asked her to get me a manager. She went to telling me um I'm trying to help you. I said, I don't want your help. I want you to get me a manager. She said, "Um, well, you had to wait behind the people." She waited on six other people in front of me. I know that it was a a nasty little situation, I guess, because I asked them, "Is this the only place that you do returns?" She said, "Um, the not even her. She wasn't even the one that spoke." There was another worker that said, "We only do them over there." So, I was like, "Okay." And I stood there for 15 minutes and watched six other people go in front of me. When you off duty, would you stand there for 15 minutes and let six other people go in front of you? My time is just as valuable as anyone else. Correct. Yeah. >> So when I asked for a message, she told me no. She went to popping off on how she'll whoop my ass. So I put my bag down and told her we can get it. Let's get it. >> You were trying to return something. >> Yes. >> Okay. And then it just >> And she threw my receipt at me. That's how it got started. She She took my receipt and get it like that. >> Okay. >> It's all on camera. Go run the cameras back. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> She said you threw a lock at her. >> I didn't throw a lock. Go run the cameras back. >> Did you throw anything towards >> if Why would she have done my return if I threw the lock at her? I'm just This is what she said. >> Make that makes sense. That's I was returning locks. >> Through her story, several accusations of disorderly behavior were completely denied. She even turned the accusations back on the employees there >> that I even explained that to the manager. It wasn't that I got out with her. I never cursed at her, never said anything threatening to her, but she told me she was going to whoop my ass. >> This is where that where I draw the line that you're not going to whoop my ass. And I told her she had a bad wig. >> So when you were returning lock box, that's what happened. completed the return. She was like, "Oh, like >> she did this to my receipt." That's when I said, "Why are you not giving command?" >> Could she have misconred the tossing the lock box like, "Hey, here we go." Cuz you were you were waiting there 15 minutes. I'd be, you know, >> I came up and I apologized to the lady that was standing in front of me. I said, "I'd like to return this and set the locks down." The lady that was standing on this side, they can tell you I was standing right there. >> So, if it like struck her anyway, it was she was touched. I'm just asking. >> She her hands weren't even there. I put the locks on the >> So, it wasn't like an intentional like I'm going to throw this at you type of thing. >> No. Okay. We'll watch We'll watch the video. >> Watch the video. Okay. >> Watch the video. Look. Go watch the video. >> I'll watch the video. >> Go watch the video. >> Okay. >> Do you have an ID on you? Okay. >> I don't even want to purchase nothing more. Now I got really feed off. Hold on a minute. I done really got pissed now cuz you going to lie. Go run the video. Let's go run the video. >> We're watching the video. You just here. >> No, I'm not going to stand here. Am I being detained? >> What am I being detained for? >> We're investigating. >> Oh, okay. Well, I'm going to stay here. She was completely confident that she had done nothing wrong. And at that moment, she even sat on the counter while continuing to obstruct the investigation. Can >> I see it? >> Once we tell me what the [ __ ] going on. >> Well, you're being detained for the investigation of if there was a battery that occurred. We're, like I said, we're going to figure it out. So, >> go ahead. Once we figure it out, then I'll give you my ID once you tell me that I'm being arrested for a battery. >> You're being detained. You need to identify. >> Give me a sergeant. I don't I'm not When am I being detained? I have a gun. >> That's fine. You can give me a sergeant. >> A what? >> A sergeant. >> So, do you want to add on another charge that you're not giving us? >> I didn't I don't have a charge at all because I've done nothing. >> I was returning. >> We're trying to investigate it and you're obstructing. >> I'm not obstructing anything. >> Identify yourself. >> I'm not obstructing. >> We need your identification. Need your identification. >> I don't have one now. >> You don't have one? >> Take you into fingerprint that way. doesn't have to be. >> It doesn't have to be over because this is all racism and I want you to watch the video first because Yeah, that's what it started out as. I want you to watch the video first and then come back to me and tell me that I assaulted someone. >> He's No, he's going to watch the video. We didn't say why not give it now. I don't understand. >> There's no reason to give it now. >> Investigate for a crime. So >> Oh, okay. I don't I don't know what crime I committed. Returning locks is a crime. No, she stated that you threw the lock at me. >> Well, she definitely Well, tell me this. If I threw a lock at you, if I threw a lock at you, would you not have gotten your manager instantly then? Would >> that not I'm just asking you common sense. Would you have process a return for someone that work a lot? I've never worked in retail either, but I mean that's just common sense. >> But either way, we need [laughter] you right now. >> This I mean your job is customer service right now, right? >> Correct. >> I agree. We're trying to do our job and you're hindering us from doing it because you want to be difficult about >> I'm not being difficult. Did you get >> ID? >> The woman seemed to understand how the police process worked as if she had been through this before and at that moment she began displaying even more bizarre behavior. >> Press charges too much before her saying it's threatening me. She >> Why don't you call them? We don't do problem. >> I didn't I mean why would I What am I calling for? >> He felt >> You just said you wanted to press charges, >> right? I do want to I want How did you know I weren't going to the police station? >> Why would you do that if she's here? >> The same reason that she returned my locks and I supposedly threw them at her. >> You're bright. You're doing [laughter] >> You're clever. >> Why did her manager come and apologize to me? >> Okay, >> so I watched the video. No contact was ever made. You threw the the wash or whatever on the counter. >> Yes. >> Words were looked like I can't hear. >> Doing this, but you told me she going to whoop mine. No, I didn't say anything. So, she had the receipt. She tried to hand it to you. She didn't throw it at you. >> No, she took the receipt. The receipt was in her hand. She did like this and walked away. That's exactly what she said. >> So, she tried to hand it to you initially. I watched the video. >> The So, the receipt was put in my hand. >> She tried to hand it to you. >> She did not. She did like this to the receipt. She did not try. I didn't touch it. >> So, here's the thing. They do not want you back in this home. >> Okay. Criminal trespass. So, I need your ID to document. You were here to verify who you are and trust me. So, I'm being detained and >> you're detained right now. So, I just need your ID so I can crimally trespass you then you >> criminally trespass. They do not want you back in the system. >> Oh, I won't come back. I can leave. >> I have to enter you in the system. >> For what? I will never come back in here. Now, I don't want to spend my money at all. I'll go to another explain this. >> Police concluded that she would only be trespassed and allowed to leave. But, of course, with this woman's inflated ego, she did not make it easy at all. >> If you don't do that, then I have to take you to the station. >> All right. My wonderful friend. She was beautiful. She I like her. What's in the car? I don't know who you are. >> This could be a simple just get your ID, get you on your way, you'll be gone. >> Uh-huh. >> If not, and you don't want to get >> But I want to press charges because now I was threatened. >> I was threatened. Let's listen to the ver the verbiage on this on the >> She also said that you threatened her. >> No. And then let's listen to the words on the video. >> She tried to go behind the counter. >> I never went behind the counter. That is absolutely a lie. Let's go watch. Can I watch the video? Let's watch. >> Customer got in between you two and separated you. >> I never went behind the counter. She started to say >> customer got in between. No, no, no. That's not how that went. Can we go watch the video together? >> I'm not going to bring you back to your ID. We can run your ID. We can get your ID. No, no, no, no. Give me a sergeant over here. I'm sorry. >> That's fine. If you fail to give your ID, >> you're going to be arrested for obstruction. >> Can I get a sergeant over you to the station? >> They can come out. They can come. >> Okay, let's do that. >> No, we're not playing that game. >> All you got to do is give your ID so we can >> There's no game. Hold on. There's no game. Let me put this on social media. There's no game. >> Simply >> There's no game. I don't play games. No, you're not going to get my ID because now I want to press charges. She threatened me >> and she's saying you threatened her. >> Did you listen to it? She threatened me first. >> Have you on video? >> She threatened me first. I never went behind the counter. Never tried to go. She She threatened me and said she was going to whoop my >> Her behavior only dragged the situation out longer. But with the trespass order already issued, what she kept doing ultimately led her straight into the outcome she never wanted. >> Whatever it was, she she called a police on you. We came, we detained you. We're trying to trespass you from this location. So, we need your ID. He's telling you >> I'm more than happy to never come back here, but I don't feel like that that you need to ID me and and I'm not getting a police report for someone threatening me. So, it's okay for someone to threaten me. >> So, why can't I see the video? Let's watch the video together so that I can get on your because now I'm going to go ahead and >> you only want to press because we're telling you come here. >> Oh, I don't care about not coming here. You know how many own? >> I need a sergeant. Can I believe we have a sergeant? Is it not my right to have a >> I can drive to the station. We can do that. >> No, you're not. >> I'd like a sergeant. >> You're under arrest for >> Okay, >> you had your chance. All I needed was your ID. >> Let go. Let go. >> Resisting too. >> Stoping up. Drop your keys. It's completely locked. >> We tried to do this. >> We try to do this as normal as possible. >> Locked. >> So now you going to go through my purse. >> No, we're taking it off. >> Oh, okay. >> That's fine. I'm going to I'm going to promise you I'm going to do you have my car keys? >> Uh, we have everything. Yeah. >> You sure? Where are my car keys? Cuz it was only a single key. >> Can you get my car keys and put them with my purse? Me and Sarge while we're down there. >> You can talk to Sarge at the station. >> This could have been a simple handier ID. You could have been on your way, but you want to make this extremely difficult. >> I wanted to make because you guys are racist. >> That's all this is. It's racist. >> It is. And I'm going to prove it. >> Yeah. Let's go. >> Don't pull away. Don't touch me. Get your nasty hands off of me. You disgusting. Cuz that's all this is. And you're a racist. >> On the way to the police station, the woman repeatedly complained that she needed an ambulance. She was immediately given assistance, but her aggressive attitude still showed no sign of calming down. >> What are you guys coming with? >> Bring my purse. >> I'm going to go ahead and get this over and talk quick. >> Mom, whatever, man. You going to do whatever you're going to do so I can go to court. >> Behave. Explain to them that I don't care about the situation. What's going on with your health? You need to listen. You need to shut your mouth and listen. All right. Hey, listen. You're going to get >> You're going to get cuffed again, but you're going to get cuffed in front. All right. It's for your treatment. >> Okay. You got to listen. >> I'm just trying to help you. Put them in the bag. >> I'm going to put them in the front. >> We need them in front. >> You're going to listen to what you're being told. All right. >> No. >> I'm going to do right now. >> Listen. Are you if you come back in my car and you refuse to go to the hospital, we can't have this again while we're in route to our nerve jail. >> I'll roll the window. I'll roll you as I'll roll the window down and have the AC on in the back for you. But you can't have you mid route say I want to go to the hospital. [laughter] >> Listen, that's >> my chest is hurting. Okay, there's nothing I'm going to do with it. >> But I want to get this over with. Let's go get this over with. Ultimately, she was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. When arrogance and stubbornness replace cooperation, even a situation that could have ended with a simple warning can quickly spiral into serious charges. Next, [music] this woman believed whining like a child would help her escape the consequences. >> I mean, you guys haven't personally, but >> and I'm worried about my truck cuz I have to go pick up my >> Are you lying about your >> No, I'm not. Am I going to jail? Well, until we figure out who you are. >> On November 18th, 2025, officers received a report from an AutoZone store about a shoplifting incident with a female inside the store suspected as the suspect. When they arrived at the scene, officers plan to approach the suspect. >> So, you all keep eyes on the female. She's inside the business. She came out once, went to the vehicle, and then returned within was here when you got out. >> It's right here. >> Yeah. >> I had to. >> Yeah. >> He's been parked over there for a while. >> Okay. Okay. >> And I'm from Picacho. So I get a little >> I got you all. >> You never saw her take anything, right? She went out and >> I saw some stuff in the counter. It was nickel and dime stuff and then left. >> And then I I put that over there on the end, but now she's back in. >> Okay. Go ahead. >> At the same time, officers approached a person who was with the suspect, and through her, they obtained evidence of the suspect's stolen merchandise. >> What was the plan to come here and shop at? >> No. No. I didn't know. I'm coming here to get some Not. You're not involved. >> No. No. I I I have my own money. You can check my account if you want. Like I >> I don't I want to go home to my kids. You know, >> track it. I promise. Yes, sir. >> Long as you're being honest with me, I can work with you. And I am not saying you've done anything wrong. Okay. But I need to at least say on camera, >> okay, that I've at least identified you. I'm running your information and care. Please I'm going to help you out. I know she >> Did she put anything in the vehicle as of right now? >> Um, yeah. She put a thing of oil and I can give it to you. >> Yes, please. >> Let me make sure she doesn't see anything. >> Yeah. See, I have another officer standing by over there. >> Where she at? In the store. >> She went back to the store. >> You want one? this way in it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> By me. I'm not putting a handcuff. >> Oh, no. No. I know. I didn't do anything. >> Along with the recovered stolen item, officers quickly confronted the suspect. Let's see her attitude at that moment. >> What is that? >> Cool. Talk to her. >> Hey, man. So, we got the oil from the truck that you walked back to. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, >> the oil of the truck. Yeah, that's the one that she told me that she didn't want to get. So, I'm confused. So, I'm getting the correct one. >> Did you buy this? >> I could have sworn I exchanged it. >> Did I not receipt >> for the 5W20? Yes, I should. Let me check my No, wait. I'm grabbing my thing to give you the receipt. What the heck? >> You got Oh, this is like hot. >> Yeah, tell us what you're doing. Right. >> What I'm trying to do is I'm trying to get the correct thing. >> So, here's the thing, right? >> They said that you were in here. >> Okay. And I told you I had to go outside. Let him talk to you. >> Listen to officer. Let him finish talking that you were in here in the store before. >> You didn't pay for anything and then you walked out and you had a bag with you. >> Yeah. Which is my bag. Yeah. Right. >> And then you came back inside. Now this we're right here with you >> and that oil is in your truck, right? And you did not pay for it. >> Okay. Then if I didn't pay for that one, then that one then Oh my god. Okay. Cuz then that was accidental because it was supposed to be the 20w50 and I'm like dyslexic cuz I thought it was 5W20 when I kept I know. I realized that and it's because I was trying to hurry because I'm in a hurry because I thought the store closed at 9:00. So, I like panicked when I like went and that's why I put everything down and it wasn't >> The woman identified herself as Kayla and she appeared extremely panicked as she tried to defend herself, forcing officers to calm her down >> because I'm just >> Well, we're doing an investigation. Okay, you just need relax, catch your breath, >> okay? I'm sorry because like anything to you I don't fend well with like around police and like I don't like I don't cause that. Okay. >> Well, I mean you guys haven't personally, but What you doing? Okay. >> And I'm worried about my truck cuz I have to go pick up my I have to go pick up my friend before he gets off of work right now. And like I'm just trying >> catch your breath. Okay. >> Okay. >> You're rambling on. >> I know. Just hang out. Hang out. Let us do our thing. Okay. We'll see what we can do about getting you out of here. Okay. >> The more cooperative you was, >> just slow down for you. I don't want to go. Okay. I'm not. We can trespass her too if you like. >> What? Why am I getting I was going to get trespassed. I like I stay like right here. >> I know. But what I'm explaining is I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry. >> Tell me what happened. >> Okay. So, what happened was I was supposed to come in here and the issue was was that I needed to get the quart of mortar oil or whatever for the truck. >> Okay. >> And I kept saying like in I wrote it I wrote it down and I wrote it down as 5W20. Okay. because you know it's always 10 W20 or like 5W20 whatever. But um when I was over here I was like hold on I need to go see if that is the correct one cuz I don't want to spend all this money and have it not be the right oil. And then when I got to the car and I asked my friend she's like no it's not 5W20 it's 20W50. Okay. >> A long story was used to justify the mistake in her behavior but in reality officers also discovered additional suspicions while checking her bag. >> Is this one yours too? Huh? >> Is this one yours? Yours as well? Your purse? >> Uh, no, that one's hers. That's Yeah, that one's hers. And that's the one that had all the information written down of what I needed. >> This is her purse. >> This was her purse. >> Yeah, that little the Yeah, that thing. That one's hers. >> This one? >> Yes. >> So, I can ask her that real quick. >> Huh? >> I can ask her that. Right now, she's she's at the front of my car. She's detained with me. >> Why is she detained? >> That's not your problem. My problem is this yours or is this hers? Will she say who's when we ask her? Is she going to say it's yours or is she going to say it's hers? >> Or is it nobody's? >> It's nobody's. >> It's abandoned property. >> Yes, >> it's abandoned property. >> I don't want to I don't want to get anybody. >> I allowed you to search my purse. I allowed you to look through my property. >> Look, I'm asking. Okay. >> Is it yours or is it hers? >> Or is it just nobody's Was it here before we got Was it here before you got here? That's what I'm trying to >> do not know. >> With that many offenses, officers reached their conclusion about her actions. >> Wait, wait, why am I getting like arrested now? >> Okay. Why >> at this time? Because you are going to be charged with shoplifting and then also trespassing. And you're not coming back on file. >> Am I going to jail? >> Are you lying about your name, Ila? >> No, I'm not. Am I going to jail? >> Well, until we figure out who you are. How long have you been living here for? I've only been living a few years. I went to college here for a little while. >> Okay. Okay. Your ID is not in here. >> No, sir. It's not >> cuz if you're lying who you are is you are going to jail tonight, right? If you're lying who you are, you're going to go to jail no matter what. If you tell us who you are, I'll stop lying. >> You probably won't even go to jail. >> I don't care. >> If you have a petty petty warrant, I don't care. I don't care about petty wars, right? >> So, be honest with us, please. >> Okay. >> You're not I can tell where you're lying. I've been doing this for a bit now and I know when people are lying. All right. There's not anything on with your name in here. >> So, I was only going to ask you one more time. What's your name and what's your date of birth? The last chance you get. You want to go to jail or not? This is how simple it is. You can tell me who you are and stop playing games cuz I'm done. >> Okay. I'm a sergeant. My name is Chris Baker. >> Hi, Chris. >> I have people here. We're in the middle of a business. Okay? And this is ridiculous. Start acting your age. >> And take responsibility for your action. >> Yes, I am. >> Okay. >> Tell them who you are. >> Okay. Can we do this outside then? It's just middle of the business and I'm worried about >> Thank you. Yes. Yes. We'll do this outside. Any more games? You're gone. >> Yes. >> So, what's your name? >> Kayla. >> What? Kayla? >> Yes. >> Hey, why'd you lie? >> Sit down. >> No, because I'm scared. Because I want to be late. >> Do you have warrants? >> No. >> So, why would you lie if you have no warrants? What's the point? We're going to find out who you really are. >> I know. This is on the airplane. Sorry. >> The woman was charged with shoplifting, criminal trespass, and possession of a controlled substance in addition to being booked on an existing warrant for a probation violation. Sometimes the biggest mistake suspects make is believing a long explanation can erase clear evidence. Instead of being honest from the start, lying about identity and making excuses only deepens the trouble and turns a minor situation into multiple criminal charges. Next, let's meet this boom woman. ASS. SO SHUT THE UP. HEY >> BOY, WE'LL BLOW YOU IN CHICAGO. Don't ever come up on us. >> Okay, cool. >> Boom. >> On the 28th of December, 2025, police were dispatched to a convenience store after receiving a report about a woman causing a disturbance there. And this was what happened when officers approached her. >> What's going on? >> I'm chilling. >> Apparently not. What's the problem? >> Hey, >> do you speak Do it look like I need to speak to you? Yes, it does, actually. >> Okay. You You got your You got everything on you, >> correct? I have my camera on recording. Yes. I'm trying to figure out what the hell's going on here. >> I mean, I'm basically standing in front of the stove. >> Yeah. >> And why are you in my face? Figure out what we need to do. >> Get your weird ass. You walk down Kevin Street. >> Stay here. >> Stay here. Based on her behavior, the disturbance clearly could have been real. Her actions afterward even grew more and more unhinged. >> Hey, let go. I can't hell you doing a can do that, [ __ ] I'm an Indian, dude. What your camera doing? >> You're about to talk yourself into jail. Stop. >> 618 never leave us. AIN'T NO ACTIVE ME. I'M NOT PRODUCING. >> STOP. GO. >> [ __ ] >> I swear to God. You do that again. >> Go. >> My bad. Mother. At that moment, the officers decided to put an end to the woman's defiance, and they chose to take action against her. >> Hey, over here. LET'S GO. >> And I don't know how we're going to hand. >> Yeah. I don't know how I don't do the ground if you don't if you don't stop. You win. >> I promise you, you don't want to. >> Yeah. I'll try to figure that. Yeah, this one here. Yeah. [ __ ] us up. >> What do we do? >> He said, "Yeah, she wants her to be arrested for disorderly. She got in that woman's car out there. She She wants something done." >> Yeah. I'm going to go talk to her. Pretty much she's been trying to get her leave for an hour and a half. Through the tips everywhere. She wants her trespass and she wants her disorderly conduct. >> Threatening customers and stuff. >> Huh? >> Yeah. It was on camera. Yeah. >> Go, girl. Chill out. >> Yeah. Come on. The fed cuz you knew it was going to fit wrong WITH YOU. >> NOW Y'ALL GOING to say you better. >> Even after being placed in the patrol car, her delusion about everything still didn't stop as she continued claiming that she had the ability to boom. >> There you go. Coming dumb ass. I'm 35 in this car with you. Hi. Not dumb on my mother. You dumb ass. Same age. BOOM. BOOM. >> 76.95. >> One adult female. >> Starting as 55. >> Yeah. Boom. >> Boom. >> Just like Yeah. Just like your daddy. But you remember he did the night. >> Boom. You can't take Dallas. >> You can't get up in Dallas. >> You talking I told you can't get up in Dallas. >> They going to your ass. Don't know how I'm rocking y'all. Look, >> I'MMA BE ON YOUR MOTHER HEAD DOWN THIS [ __ ] NOW I'M AT YOUR HEAD CUZ I'M A LEG MOTHERING. NOW RESPECT MY MOTHER AND MY MOTHER. >> YOU WON'T EVEN YOU won't even tell me your name. >> You won't even tell me your name. >> Damn, you little [ __ ] >> Well, you won't even tell me your name, >> [ __ ] That's how the talk. >> You won't even tell me your name. >> The entire ride during the transport was not quiet for even a moment. And even after arriving at the police station, she still made the place loud with nothing but her voice. >> I TOLD I >> OKAY, you know best. YEAH, I TALK TO I'M COMING AND I'M ABOUT TO HAVE MIKE KILL YOU. I DO THAT CUZ I'MMA WALK YOU LIKE so stupid. HEY, CALM DOWN. [screaming] >> CALM DOWN. YES. YES. I WANT my pocket. >> STOP ON MY MOTHERING SHOES. >> WHY DON'T YOU JUST COME IN here and you're going to come face down on this? >> This could be an easy process. You can sit here and be nice and warm and get your hot meal. We can be cool for the evening. We're going to stop being [ __ ] to each other. That sounds good. >> I'm going hook you up. I got you. I promise. >> Yeah, you can chill out. In the end, the woman was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing justice, resisting arrest, and battery. [music] This incident showed that refusing to control one's behavior, and constantly challenging law enforcement only made the situation worse. Instead of avoiding trouble, the woman's aggressive and irrational actions ultimately led to more serious charges and consequences. Next, this woman led us to a theft case that required caution. >> Obviously, we're here for a very specific reason. We didn't come upon uh upon you by chance, but what I can tell you is I know you didn't kill nobody, okay? This isn't the worst thing in the world, but we have a job to do. We have to do our job here. >> On September 5th, 2025, police began investigating an identity theft case tied to a fraudulent transaction used to pay for an LA fitness gym membership. In the following weeks, investigators traced the suspicious payment and discovered a total of $250.79 in fraudulent charges. The transactions included LA fitness membership fees, Robux digital currency, and food purchases at Wingtop and Kingwalk. Detectives then used Zed X, a law enforcement only software platform to trace the phone number used during the gym registration. The number was linked to an AT&T device, and further verification led investigators to a woman. On October 13th, 2025, police approached the suspect at a residential neighborhood. >> I'm Eric. I'm the guy who you talk to. Okay? You don't need to cry. Do you have your ID on you or in the car? Want to grab it for me real quick? >> Just want to make sure I'm out talking to her, right? >> How you doing? >> We're just going to talk to her. >> I appreciate it. I understand you're upset right now. Okay. >> Why don't we talk a little bit so the kids can't see us? Just over here. Okay. All right. Like I said, I'm going to work with you, okay? Because you're cooperative. You're not giving me a hard time. As long as that stays that way, okay? Come up here. As long as it stays that way. All right. You keep not giving me a hard time. We'll work through this. Okay, like I told you before, I'm a detective in Bartland. All right, we came a long way to come see you. All right, obviously we're here for a very specific reason. We didn't come uh upon you by chance, but what I can tell you is I know you didn't nobody. Okay, this isn't the worst thing in the world, but we have a job to do. We have to do our job here, okay? All right. So, if you work with me, we'll work with you. All right? But you are going to be taken into custody today. Now, that doesn't mean that you're going to be stuck in jail overnight. All right? and you need to work with us because obviously we don't want your kids going and hanging out in the 11th district police station because you're you're not going back to the 11th district. You're coming with us. All right? But if you work with us, even if we get you charged, okay? More than likely, you're going to be released today on your own recgnissance. You're not going to have to pay any bond, anything like that. You'll be able to come back home, all right? And come back and see your kids. All right? Like I was telling you before, though, if we stretch this process out too long, >> the woman could no longer deny her actions. And at that moment, the officer's main concern was finding someone to take care of her family while she was taken into custody. >> So, can can we work together and I can have your cooperation? Okay. I know you said you don't have anybody, but I know there's somebody you can call >> my partner. He's locked up and my my mother passed away. I literally don't have >> You have Do you know your neighbors, your friends? There's got to be somebody. >> I don't even stay right here no more. I I stay around the corner. >> All right. Cuz the name still says Mason on it. >> I just moved. That's why I was able to come around the corner. I stay on um tough in St. Louis >> 12th in St. Louis. Okay. There's nobody at your house right now. >> Nobody. I I literally take care of my kids myself. >> Okay. Because obviously we might have to call DCFS and and that's it's not really preferable. So if there's a trusted friend or something like that, >> I don't have one. And what's the what's the issue? >> Okay. Well, we'll have a conversation when we're in more uh professional setting. Okay. All right. I'm I'm giving you an opportunity here cuz we're going to have to take care of your kids one way or another. Okay. All right. Is there there's got to be somebody we can call. You got your phone in the car? I'll let you grab that. >> I would like to discuss what it's about. >> We are going to discuss that. >> At that moment, officers did not want to risk any possible escape, so they proceeded to detain the woman. >> Go ahead and set your stuff on the car right there. Okay. All right. I need you to place your hands behind your back for my friend. You are under arrest right now. All right. >> All right. This officer right here is going to search you. Female. You're a female. All right. And then when we put you in our car, what we're going to do is we're going to put a belt on you so you don't have to sit on handcuffs, okay? Cuz it's about an hour ride back to Bartley. You understand? >> Bartlett Bravo 51 Mark one adult female in um do you have anything on your person in your purse that you shouldn't have that's illegal that's dangerous that might hurt or uh or injure us? Nothing. No. Okay. Do you have anything in here you need or you want us to leave it with your neighbors? >> You can leave my neighbor. >> Okay. I'm going to check to make sure there's nothing illegal in here. All right. Just cash. You don't need anything in here? >> No. >> Just cash and some weed. That's it. All right. >> What's it? >> Cuz she wants them to have the keys for her. >> The neighbor. Well, I can't take it outside with you. >> Do you want us to take your keys? Do you want us to give them to your neighbor? >> I'm going to take them with me. >> I take them with you. >> Okay, we'll we'll take them with her. >> Can you just lift you up your shoulders? You >> want me to lock the door? >> Yeah. >> Does she have the key fob in there? >> The key fob's on the car. >> Where is it at? I didn't see it. >> Although she appeared to be crying, in reality, it was because she had been caught. And even while being handcuffed, her main concern was still about her personal belongings. >> Going to walk you back to our car real quick. And like I said, I'll throw you in that belt. >> Huh? >> Um, they going to bring my key. You can get my purse and my phone. I mean, I need my phone. You get my purse. >> Okay. Hey, Adrian. Her purse. Can you just give it to him? We'll >> walk you to the passenger side here. Like I said, we've got a belt we're going to throw on you so that way you can not sit on the cuffs all the way back. >> Okay. Hold on. Before you get in there, >> yeah, we're going to switch you to the front. Open this up here. over. There we go. >> I'm going to release the cuffs. Okay. All right. >> It'll be fine. I mean, it just folds over itself, so that'll be good. >> All right. When I take this handcuff off, put it on top of your head. Okay. Your hand. >> She was later charged with one count of identity theft, a class 3 felony. Sometimes people think small online tricks will go unnoticed. But even digital crimes can always be traced back. And when the truth finally catches up, the consequences are impossible to escape. What do you think about cases like this? I'm pissed though. Dang. Look. >> On the 3rd of January, 2024, officers were dispatched to Walmart after receiving a report of a woman concealing merchandise while shopping. When they arrived on scene, the suspect immediately fled at the sight of police, triggering a tense pursuit. >> Hi, DARLING. >> That was dumb. >> That was dumb. >> Okay, >> that was dumb. >> Can I go get my ticket? Get my Can I just call my mom? >> Well, we'll handle everything. >> Okay. >> Running a running ain't the right move. >> You can get everything. I don't care. I just want to get my kids. >> How you going to try to out run me? >> I just want to get my kids. That's it. >> I just really want to get my kids. That's it. Hook. That's not your dad. That's my mom. I promise. >> Girl, calm down. >> Oh, I was just checking. I was just checking my mind. >> The woman was completely panicked by what had just happened. So, the excuses she gave were simply whatever came to her mind. At that moment, officers checked her information and discovered there was another issue. >> Check that trespass. Well, it's 2 years ago. >> Oh, I see. >> So, well, >> no, I didn't know. >> Oh, no. It expires in March. So, >> yeah, I do know. I thought it was a year. That's what the judge had said. It didn't say nothing. >> The judge didn't trespass. >> Oh, see. I didn't know that. I'm sorry. >> You're probably freaking out like you were freaking out when I was bringing you back in here. Probably didn't hear it, right? >> No. >> No. That is something nugget. >> It looks nugget. >> See, I didn't know anything about it cuz I've been out probation. >> All right. Like I said, you ain't got nothing with me right now. Let them do their stuff and then we'll talk. >> Yes. I'm doing good. I just I have I had to come get the box and I was out for everything. You said your baby need a sock. >> My daughter. Is >> that what you were selling underwear for? >> No, that was for my son. >> The pants? >> No, the panties was for me. Oh, >> okay. That's a hostile pants. >> The woman showed no remorse for what she had done. She even tried to convince them that this was not a serious matter. >> So, do y'all know if I get a booking? Uh just cuz like I said we they got they got >> it's not always trust me. >> No. No. Yeah. >> No. >> Yeah. It's they have to get the amount and then they have to go from there if they're going to prosecute or not. So that's what we're waiting on. That's what those guys are doing on camera. >> It's Trust me. It's not over 500 or none of that stuff. >> No. Trust me. Trust me. It's not. >> This ain't Victoria Secret. >> It's not. It's not. >> Trust me. It's not. No. >> You ever been to Victoria Secret? It's high >> piece just a pair of paint is 25. >> I went there for my girlfriend's birthday. I'm about to stroke. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Told her you can get the Amazon special. That's right. >> I believe you just a year. Two years. >> Two years. >> When did they change it? >> It's always been two years. >> I never been. My cousin only got a year. So that's what I automatically always. >> At that moment, Walmart staff finished reviewing her previous trespass order and her earlier claim about it turned out to be false. I was holding the dog >> playing with the little puppy thingy when I kept him here saying, "Babe and I'm one of the like somebody this way." >> Further investigation revealed that this was not the first time the man had committed such acts. Yet when questioned, the woman completely evaded any acknowledgement of it. >> Um I'm a fighter. >> What kind of fight? >> What kind? >> Oh, you mean like you would fight? So you saying you never got caught saying you're >> No, I'm saying no. I want to jail. >> I ask you how many choppies you had. You said I'm a fighter. >> Yeah, I don't want >> What's up, sir? >> When people going to learn I come in the store? You got goddamn money. Okay. Do you'all have a trash can anywhere near here? Oh, the thing I'm looking at. Thank you. >> All right. Are you ready, ma'am? >> Go ahead and stand up. So, I got to assert you now that we know that you're going to the jail. All right. >> I'm just going to flip these. >> Yeah. I'm going to just flip them out so the jail can see that. >> You're good. And it does say received by Irvan. And my name is spelled wrong, too. Looks very similar to the other. >> Got the UPS driver doing the show up of >> Well, he was in he was in the truck. I don't know if he saw didn't see it. >> Just lean forward. >> It was known that both suspects had successfully carried out three gold thefts from Costco within just 15 days. But how had they managed to receive the shipments directly from the UPS driver? Listen to the victim's statement. Hi, how are you? Good. >> How are you? >> I'm good. There you go. I'm Detective uh Banishki with Bill Park Police Department. I got some deliveries. >> You got a second to talk to me? >> Okay. Just had a few questions for you. >> Is it regarding the >> Yes. Okay. >> Let's start from the beginning. What what what were you expecting? >> So, we ordered two gold bars >> from where? >> From Costco. >> And how do you order that? >> Online? >> Through through a website or through Costco.com? Costco.com >> using your membership. >> My Yeah, my membership. And I used a credit card to pay for it. Okay. >> And they were supposed to be delivered today. >> And you know, I've been waiting since this morning cuz I assumed it was a sensitive item. I would have to sign it. >> Yes. >> But nobody even showed up. And it says, you know, when you went to the UPS tracking, >> um it says that you're required, >> right? >> But nobody even showed up. And it does say received by Irvan. My name is spelled wrong too. I I saw it. >> Okay. Um, do you have a copy of the receipt from Costco or anything? How you ordered it on your email? Yeah. >> So, even the victim herself did not know how her package had been received. And given the value of the gold she was about to reveal, she firmly stated that she could not have asked anyone to sign for it on her behalf. >> How much were they valued? >> Uh, I think the total was around $6,800 something. >> $6,860. Does it sound about right? >> I don't remember the exact number. >> 2 oz. Two one two 1 oz each. >> Okay. Two 1 oz gold bars. >> Yes. So online. Okay. So 6,859. >> So no identity theft previously. Nobody has a cop near driver's license. >> Previously as in >> recent. >> No. No. Nothing recent. >> Nothing recent. No. >> Got to ask, did you give anybody permission to pick up your package and sign for it on their behalf? Yes. >> Today? No. No. That like I'm telling you, I stayed a long day. >> Okay. So, you didn't give anybody permission to sign for >> No, no. I mean, it's just me or my husband, you know, and my kids that live here, but I still just I stayed home just because of this reason. So, I realized it wasn't here, you know, and I checked in the update that said it was delivered. So, I called them right away and I told them. So, >> So, what did they say? >> They she looked into it for a while. I think it took me a while. I was on that call. So, I was on the call for like 29 minutes, half an hour. So, she I guess I'm sure they checked all their resources and then she was like, "We'll um initiate a refund." >> Okay. So, are you accepting a refund from them? >> I mean, yeah, that's my only choice. >> Yeah, because uh like I said, we do have your package, but they're probably going to keep it as evidence for the time being. >> Wait, you have the package? >> We do. We >> Oh, >> yeah. We have the package. >> OH, >> BUT it's not like I just Here's your two gold bar. >> Oh, okay. I guess I missed that part. >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay. >> So, long story short, >> but you were saying somebody was you. Yes, we intercepted a bad guy. Somebody signed for it on your behalf. They said, "Oh, I'm I'm in a rush. This is, you know, this is me. Here's here's my driver's license." >> And in the interrogation room, Azaret Emlachov initially denied the accusations, but after being confronted with evidence, he admitted that he had received tracking details and addresses via Telegram from a man named Max. His job was to intercept the packages, photograph the gold, and forward it to New York using provided shipping labels. He confessed to intercepting five to six UPS packages, earning $200 to $600 each through zel and using fake IDs bearing Am's photo over the victim's information. Amanch Ali Manova began her interview at 9:21 p.m. after requesting a Russian interpreter. She admitted receiving package details from someone named NK or HK, helping intercept five to six packages, and using fraudulent IDs with her Instagram photo. She said she acted for money to pay bills and support her parents, denied coercion, and claimed she received $1,500 for that day's package more than Azerat had reported. Their accounts conflicted. Azeret said Max was his only contact and that he created the scheme, while Am claimed she was contacted first and that the plan began with her. Though Azeret tried to downplay her role, she later admitted direct communication and use of fake IDs. Both were charged with theft over $500, but under $10,000, a class 3 felony tied to Villa Park and Wheaton. A man also faced forgery and identity theft charges. Greed and easy money always came at a cost, no matter how carefully they planned. Lies unraveled under pressure and the truth surface through evidence and contradiction.
