We're trying to keep this as calm as possible. >> Yo, show me the report. >> We're going to He's going to show you what's going on as soon as you get out. >> Why do I need to get out? >> He's asking you to get out of the vehicle. >> But why? This not a traffic stop. I don't have to do WHAT YOU SAYING. WHY DO I NEED TO GET OUT? Why do you need this? Why do I need to step out OF THE CAR? >> BUT WHY, DETECTIVE? What is the law for me to get out? It's very simple. >> Okay, let's go. Out of the car, please. Let's go. Out of the car. Out of the car. >> I can't. Yo, why are you out of the car? Let's go. Get out. A consequence of the woman's own choices as officers then explained the situation to her manager and co-workers. >> Saying she's under arrest, but I want to I don't want to I'm not going to entertain you. She was obstructing my investigation. That's the end of it. Well, so that's that's the reason. >> Listen, I don't know. I I don't know who you guys are. No idea who you guys are. >> She work here, bro. >> Okay. Does she work here? >> Yeah, she works here. >> Okay, here's the deal. I just want you guys to understand this. There's a car stop. A cop has the right to order you out of the driver's seat at any point without any reason because that is the law. It's case law. It's been argued in the Supreme Court. >> It's been argued in the Supreme Court. There's a car stop and the officer instructs you out of the driver's seat. You must comply. Otherwise, it's obstruction of the investigation. That's why she's being arrested. Listen, but boss, I have a lot of cop friends. I'm in the military. You know how this go. Typically, people that's in the military transfer out to being a cop. I So, I'm not I'm not trying to go against nothing y'all saying, right? >> Because if I go against it, it's not going to get nowhere. What I all I want to know is that her being pulled out the car. I understand. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Listen. I understand. Like, you're saying she's obstructing your investigation. But what reasoning? What What's going to be her reasoning for arrest? >> I'm for the for the obstruction. >> Guys, hold on. Wait. Where are we putting her >> up against the car? Charger, >> I have to close my store. You >> not anymore. >> Yeah. All right, let me call MY BOSS. JUST STOP. STOP. YO, just relax. >> What's your name? >> Can I call my boss? What's your name? >> Can she Can you just walk? Can we go inside? >> What's your name? >> My name My name is on my shirt, sir. >> Okay. Listen to me. >> I have to close this door. >> Listen to me. >> You can take me to jail after. >> Listen to me. Listen to me. We will make >> I can't breathe. Can you just LET ME BREATHE? I HAVE I CAN'T BREATHE. >> LISTEN TO ME, PLEASE. Can you listen to me, please? >> Yo, she >> I want to have a conversation with you. >> Can you please let me breathe first? Can I have it? I guess >> Can we walk off? I showed up. She's already fighting. I showed up. You saw me standing over there. I tried talking to you. They tried pulling her out of the car. She's fighting. That's all. That's all I know. So, I pull him out. I help pull her out. That's it. >> Time was needlessly dragged out as she allowed nothing to proceed easily. Even a simple search became chaos, sparked solely by her words. >> Okay, >> listen to me. >> We have to search you, okay? You're under arrest. This officer is not >> worrying about that. JUST TELL HER TO CALM DOWN. >> Can you do me a favor? >> You need to calm down. >> Can you do me A FAVOR, >> BRO? YO, I'M AGGRAVATED AS YOU GOT TO CALM DOWN CUZ YOU MAKING ME AGITATED. >> TRACY, talk to me. Tracy, talk to me. Look, Tracy, look at me. >> [ __ ] She agitating me. How about you move her so we can talk? >> Talk to me. Thought you move hard to search you. She's a female officer. You're a female. She's going to search you. >> Search me. Stop moving. Stop moving. Yeah, I got weapons. >> What do you got? >> Whatever you find, mother. >> No. Record, please. Lou, look at them. Look at them. Lou, >> he's fine. >> Look at them, Lou. >> I don't care if they're recording. Just keep them away from Look, they could come. >> No, Lou. Record. >> Despite fighting back and blaming the police, the woman clung to the claim that she was the true victim, even urging her co-workers to record videos to gather evidence, an effort that PROVED FUTILE. >> RECORD THEM. I TOLD THEM I CAN'T BREATHE. THEY TRYING TO PUT ME IN THE CAR. AFTER SHE HAD MY CHEST ON THE GROUND, I TOLD HER I HAVE ASTHMA. PLEASE, LOU, you're upsetting yourself. >> No, keep it on recorded. ASTHMA. >> I TOLD HER I HAVE A HEART MAMA. I told her I HAVE A HEART MURMUR. Do you hear me? Do you hear me? I have a heart murmur and asthma. THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE, SHE WANTS TO BE AGGRESSIVE. I can't breathe. Please. Yo. Yo, I'm trying. I have yelling. >> Tell her to stay away from you. >> Okay, that's fine. I'll deal with you. >> That's silly. starting to stay. >> I'm not getting near to the ambulance. Say it's okay. >> Can you do me a favor? Can you lean against the car? >> I got you. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. SHE COMING BACK AGAIN. I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO TELL her to stay away. I thought she was going to tell her to stay away. She the same one that tried to take my You tried to give me one. You had my heart on the ground with her knee in my chest. >> Are you serious? >> Are you serious? Right now. So So SHE HAD HER HER KNEE ON MY CHEST, RIGHT? CRAZY. That's lean against the app. Lean your back up against the car. Stay right there. >> Look, keep this on recorder. She trying to harass me so I can't breathe. >> Tracy, >> look at her. >> Tracy, >> what's wrong with her? >> Tracy. Tracy, look at me. >> What's wrong with her? >> Look at me. Look at me. I'm going to deal with you. Okay, I'm going to deal with you. >> She had asthma and a heart valve condition. Yet, with her resistance and the sheer force of her screaming, what do you think about this? While on the other side, police were still facing additional complications from witnesses. >> The bar stop. >> I don't I don't know what her name is. I wasn't on the car stop. >> Crazy questions. >> That's the problem with the community. >> So So if this isn't her car, then she doesn't have authority to let us into the car either. >> I don't got nothing else to say. That's the problem with the community. Nobody wants to talk no more and everybody just wants to, bro. I'm trying to talk. >> She wants to She wants to abuse her authority as a cop. I get you TALKING ABOUT BACK UP. WE'RE NOT EVEN NOWHERE NEAR Y'ALL. WE'RE NOT EVEN NOWHERE near y'all. >> Listen, I'm not going to disagree. We're not We're all that. We should be more concerned about this stuff, but at the end of the day, there's not much that we can do. Was this indulgence toward the woman when those around her ignored police explanations or was it a direct confrontation with officers only calming once additional officers arrived? >> Yes. >> When is someone that's either jurisdiction, right? It's a couple things that's not we as police officers in the state of New Jersey, we are allowed to follow up investigations in any state in New or any town in New Jersey, right? Our jurisdiction doesn't just like our jurisdiction doesn't just uh remain in Scataway, right? We go to Edison all the time. We go to other towns all the time. When we go to other towns to pick people up, if an investigation leads us to another town in that situation, we have every legal right to act as a police officer for for that town. Now, as a courtesy, we usually call that town and say, "Hey, listen. We're, you know, following up on something here. Um, we don't need you, but if anything were to happen, you know what's going on, right?" >> But you're allowed to go on to private property even if asked to leave >> uh for investigation. Yes, we are allowed to go on private property. This is quasi. So, uh there's two different types of private property, right? There's private property like a residence where if we have an investigation, I can walk up to your residence. I can, you know, follow a path that any delivery driver would follow or any um any person coming to say hello to you or any friend coming over would follow. I can walk up your driveway, walk through a walkway. Um I can't put myself in a legal vantage point, but I can come up to your door and knock on your door if there's anything that I see at that point in time that I'm that I have to seize um outside of your property. I can seize that. In this situation, Pep Boys is considered quasi, right? People come here every day to get their cars fixed. They come in the shop, right? It's owned privately, however, with the intention of the public being able to come here during business hours. So, it's a little bit different than private property for like your arrest um by the eyes of New Jersey with how laws. Does that make sense? >> Yeah, that makes sense. >> Okay. Does that shed a little bit of light? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. The suspect was charged with obstructing justice, resisting arrest, and possession of a stolen vehicle, escalating a situation through resistance and emotion only worsened the outcome. While calm cooperation could have prevented serious consequences. This woman was worse. She was not ashamed of stealing, only of being exposed. >> Don't want to go through my jaw. Please, I'm asking you. >> Um, no. Where do >> But can we just go? You can walk me through there. You don't have to publicize it to my job. I'm off. >> On May 11th, 2024, police were dispatched to a shopping mall after receiving reports of a theft. The suspect was believed to be a female employee who took merchandise worth over $2,000. At that point, the woman was brought to the mall office, and this was what happened next. >> Uh-huh. that provided us with footage and evidence that you committed a shoplifting of the uh >> of some rings today. >> Some rings. >> I think about nine rings. We have clear footage of you taking off a display case of rings. I guess they're just put into the display case. Took the case off. You walk around. You looks like you you may have concealed it into potentially this white bag you had in there. So, we have probable cause to stop you and uh check your items to see you. >> Please not do this in this store. Can we just go outside right here? >> What is I don't know. >> We We don't know where this leads to. Where does this lead to? >> Just outside the back door. >> This lead us to outside. >> Yeah. >> Or is this like a hallway? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> All right. We're going to be I'm going to be honest with you straight from my name's Officer Kelly. It's going to be helpful if you're just honest with us. All right. Did you take these items today? >> Yeah. >> You did? Okay. Do you have them on you still? >> Do you have the rings on you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Can you show me the rings? >> We We got to take it back to the store. >> Yeah. We got to return the merchandise to the store and then we'll explain everything else that goes on from there. Okay. >> What happens? >> What happens? Yeah. >> Where where are the rings currently? >> In your bag, right? >> Like what happens? >> Well, it's we just answered the entire question. Did you Did you show my co-workers anything? >> No, we we literally just asked if you worked here. That's a we have we have no we we're not going to involve your employment, anything like that. We are here to investigate a crime that occurred at another store. Okay. >> Instead of caring about her own crime, she only focused on how her reputation would be affected. She believed she was special because when asked further, all the stores she had worked at were luxury stores. >> Working for the store for a while or you just recently employed here? >> Recently. >> Just recently employed here. Okay. Have you worked at any other stores in the mall? Yeah. >> Okay. >> What other stores have you worked in? >> Louis Vuitton. >> Louis Vuitton. All right. >> All right. So, did you happen to shop with anything else today? >> No. >> Goose with a dagger. >> No, I just went to try that on with some sneakers today. >> I'm sorry. What? >> I just went to try that on. With some sneakers today cuz I going to a concert. So, I just went to try that on. >> So, where is it from? There's a Golden Goose. I just don't know. Golden Goose. >> Golden Goose. Yeah. It's a shoe store. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And then these are just >> All right. So, listen. I'm going to be kind to you. I'm going to polite to you. I'm going to treat you with respect. You guys, as as honestly as you are to me, the better it works out for you. All right. >> You're caught in the commission of one crime today. We have the We have proof the shoplifting from the jewelry store. You took a box of rings. So, we have that. If there's any other items you took, it'd be helpful if you're honest to me cuz we're just going to we're going to find out. Okay. Do you have your ID, ma'am? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Can you provide that to me? These are just gifts that I got today. So, I got like the oil and whatever. >> Can you Can I have your ID, ma'am? >> Do you have a receipt for them or how did you get those jeans? >> No, those are old. I just brought them into work this morning and I just went to try sneakers on. You want to see? >> I went to try sneakers on. >> Well, my question is why does it still have a tag on? >> Because I haven't worn them yet. >> So, I went to the store today to try these sneakers on. >> All right. You know what? Looks good. Okay. All right. Have your ID, man. >> Yeah. >> All right. Thank you. >> In reality, did you suspect that she might have done the same thing at the store she worked at before? Because shortly after, police also learned that this was not her first offense. >> Been called for shoplifting before >> uh many years ago. >> Many years ago. Do you have any active warrants or anything like that? >> That you sure? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Take everything with you. >> Yeah. I got five of you. We're in the back of Tempropedic in the kind of area. We should be right back here for now. >> We'll keep the bag. Uh, obviously you're not going to keep the rings. I'll take the rings back. >> So, that door is locked. Are you going to take me? I don't want to go through my jaw, please. I'm asking you. >> Um, >> where do you >> So, uh, let's push you. >> Yeah. >> Take, uh, your rings off. >> Did they already request a hook for this MBA or not yet? >> Listen, don't go anywhere. There two men right here. Let me go out there. >> Okay. So, are you wearing are you wearing any of the jewelry that you took today? >> That ring. I have pictures of the rings. I just want to make sure. >> No, I don't. >> That's not That's not a ring from there. >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. So, take everything off this little pouch right here. >> All your personal property that is yours, you will get back 100%. >> That that that's we we just we hold on to it until we get to police headquarters. >> Mhm. >> All right. and uh watch little uh >> can I just call my son please? He's at home and I just want to call him to let him know or >> after the rings were recovered the woman remained ashamed in front of her co-workers and feared that her actions would be discovered which caused further trouble when she refused to return to the office to continue the next procedures. >> You're past that point then you know something that went on today. >> Yes, but can we just go? You can walk me through there. You don't have to publicize it to my job. I'm off the clock. Okay. Where where do where where does this corridor lead us to? We're not familiar with it. >> This goes outside the elevator. >> Outside to where? Outside Cheesecake Factory. >> Where where are we parked? >> We're parked over by CPK. >> So in the second floor, >> we're not going downstairs. >> I have to be handcuffed. >> Yes. >> We're We're playing nice with you. We're being right by >> But I'm just >> I understand. We're trying to give you some grace and some dignity of maybe not walking through your your employment. Your employment has the job. >> I understand. >> Do you have any property in there still? Do you have anything going on? Nothing. >> We don't have anything. I >> need this. You need to stay in the second floor. If we take this hallway down, is there a way we can come out? >> Is there anything you're aware of? >> Is there any entry hallway back into the mall? >> There's an entry. There's an exit right when you go downstairs and then he can you can have him watch me. And then >> listen, if we go downstairs, we're going to parade you around the mall. Right there. But I'm just saying. >> Well, we're parked upstairs. So, we're saying >> CPK, California Pizza Kitchen. >> Yes. So, there there's two methods. We walk right back through here, right outside. You're going to be handcuffed once we start walking. Or we walk all the way downstairs, all the way up, all the way back over with your handcuff. Which one? >> That's fine. I rather go downstairs. >> Sorry. Please. I'm asking you. I just don't want this to interrupt you. >> Well, that's kind of a decision we had to make before >> I know >> committing this crime. And then we they don't we we're not going to explain anything to them cuz we we just we're not here for that. Will they ask you about it on Monday while the police were here to talk to you? >> This is what we're going to do. We're going to walk you out of the store without handcuffs. Right outside the store. We're going to make a right out of their view. You're going to be handcuffed. >> Let's not deal with the store anymore. I'm off the clock. I'm not >> going to walk through. >> By this point, she still treated everything as if it were not serious at all. But to the police, a felony was a felony and no pleading changed that. >> Have any active warrants? If you don't have anything, >> check for me >> for all. We're going to do all that and I'm going to tell you everything as we go along. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to tell you the whole process and the procedure. We're going to check your criminal history. >> Like the felony? >> No, for 2,00. Yeah, I think it's >> 2,000. I I'm not sure the number. We got to We have to talk with the store. We're good. Okay. >> Let me have your cell phone. >> 2,000? >> 2,000? What? You said $2,000 >> with the merchandise potentially. I don't we got to find all that. Turn around and put your hands behind your back. Okay. CL. >> Can I do it in the front or No. >> No. No. Yeah. This is This is how we do it. >> Okay. Can I like put it right in front? >> No. Sorry, ma'am. This is what happens. Both hands behind your back, please. >> I'm not trying to keep >> I know I know you're not, but just we we can't give everyone every option they want. It's not how it works. You committed a crime. We're being kind and polite to you. We're trying to Can you take those off or bracelet? >> Can these come off these bracelets easily? >> They're fine. You need to take them off. They're mine. >> Listen, >> I don't want to be me. >> I know, but you think it's a two-way street. It's not. >> Take them off. Let's just That's what we have to do. We're not being [ __ ] >> You think I will leave? is the active ATF. >> In the end, she was charged with grand theft. Her actions showed that fearing exposure more than wrongdoing only deepened the consequences of her choices. Continuing with this woman, her tears were fake and her fears were fake. >> I don't know the answer to this. I do go to jail. Do you know how long I have to be there for? >> I don't know. >> I I I I know you want I know you want to take me to county. I know you do. But please, >> why would I want to do that? >> On the 12th of December, 2024, a woman was suspected of repeatedly shoplifting at Walmart, targeting household and construction items. But this time, it appeared to be the end of the line when police stepped in. >> Hey, come here. >> Oh, sorry. >> Come here. Put your stuff down. >> Okay. >> Put yourself down. >> What? >> He told me to go charge my phone to show you the online order. >> Okay. We're going to go this way. >> Can I grab my purse real quick? >> Where's your purse at? >> Right there. >> Well, it's coming with us. Okay. Take a seat. >> So, the reason we have you in here today is this OC. >> I'm sorry. >> Is this OC? >> What's that mean? >> Organized retail crime. >> I don't know. >> Are you boosting for anyone? >> Oh, no. No. I just I just I just got my first apartment. And >> what's your middle name? >> It's my my dad's an e initial M. >> Okay. >> I know. I know you're an officer and I know you can extend courtesy and I know I made a mistake, but please please don't send me to county. I I'll go to court. I'll do community service. I'll pay the fines. I know I [ __ ] up. If you guys need to put me on a on a payment plan that I need to come here and pay everything, I'll do whatever. Just please don't send me to county. I've never been to jail and I just can't go to county. I can't do that to my parents. I don't want to tell them. >> They'd be embarrassed. >> Well, you should have saw your parents before. Sorry. >> I messed up. I know. my hunted NYPD officers. So, if you didn't extend any courtesy for me and just not take me to jail, I'll deal with every other consequence. >> Despite the pleading tone in her voice, there was no real remorse at all as it was genuinely shocking how she casually recounted her previous thefts without any sense of guilt. >> Have you done this before? >> Um, I did it once. Yeah. I think Target. >> Were you arrested for it? >> No. >> And another Walmart? >> Walmart? I never got arrested for it. And it was not above like $300 >> a month ago. >> Yeah, actually at Walmart they took me county cuz it was there, but that was that's not Oklahoma City County and I got a lawyer and I'm I'm doing everything I can. I This is my first time living by myself. I I don't know if you can see this, but I had November 5th and the >> What was it for? >> The Walmart situation and he dropped it to just disorderly conduct. If I don't know if you can see that. >> Yeah, we'll be able to find it. So basically the deal is if you have a conviction or lar within 10 years you're going to go to jail. Okay. >> Like I have to go to jail. >> I feel like if it's more than $900 I have to go to jail. I will you can >> if you don't have a conviction then we're not going to do that. But >> um I don't I don't think I don't have a con I don't think I have a conviction. >> Well then you're not you're probably not going to >> but if I do have a conviction can you take me on me? >> No. >> How will you know if I have a conviction or not? We're looking up >> and there's no there's no courtesy you can extend for me to not >> absolutely not. You're stealing. >> I know. I know. People make dumb mistakes. >> Well, there's consequences when we make bad decisions, right? >> And I'll make up for them in any other way. Just I don't want to go to I don't want to get raped. I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to get raped. >> The question was raised, if she did not want to go to jail, then why did she keep stealing? Especially when in reality, she carried out her actions right at a specific threshold, seemingly to ensure she would receive only a ticket. Conviction means that the judge said like I'm charged with this fine, right? >> Well, it's not a fine. >> I'm charged with the crime, right? Charged. Okay. That's not happened. No. >> Okay. Well, he's looking it up right now. So, if if we do >> and then if I don't have a conviction, I'll just get a ticket and have to go to court. >> Maybe >> if you can any kindness, any please don't put me to jail. >> Well, it's not a matter of kindness, right? >> I know it's I I made a mistake. I know I messed up. >> You've done multiple mistakes. >> I know. I'm working on it and it's >> you're not working on it because you did it again. >> I I'm sorry. >> I can't I can't even believe that that you would a month ago get arrested for doing this and then come right back and do it again. >> I know it's when when you when you don't have money and you're trying to make ends meet, you're you don't know what to do. >> Okay. I know a lot of people that don't have money that make ends meet without ceiling. >> I know. I know. And and if my phone turns back on, like my lawyer made me make an appointment with my therapist and discuss it with them to like I can show you all of that and like I'm a good person. I'm an honor. I can show you that like this is just my first time living alone and I [ __ ] up, bro. I know I [ __ ] up. I'm I'm being stupid. You can do anything. Just don't take me a joke. Please. You can give me a fine. I'll do community service. I'll do anything. She appeared completely insincere, shedding no real tears during her please because the moment the conversation shifted toward examining what had actually happened with her. Her tone immediately changed. >> So, um, next month I should be getting a pharmacy job. If you guys give me the total amount of what I've stolen and I come and pay all the amount back, could you slip that? >> That's not my decision and that's not even like >> Is that something that I could do though? Um, you'd have to contact our home office people and then they'll be >> So, could you give me a price of everything from both Walmart so that I can know so that maybe hopefully I have the funds and I can like you to fix what I what I >> have to wait till he gets >> okay >> all that. >> So, I'm sorry. I'm I'm I'm sorry I'm talking a lot. I'm just anxious. So, it's your discretion to take me to jail or not. >> I mean, up to a certain point if you have a conviction now. >> Okay. So, if I have don't have a conviction, you won't take me? >> Not necessarily. We'll see. >> Okay. Okay. >> Is there anything I can do to make this issue on for better for Walmart? Like do community service like pay slowly pay it back? Like is there anything I can do? >> Cuz I know I [ __ ] up. I was stupid. I [ __ ] up. I was I don't I don't want this to be my life. Like I said I would I want to be a pharmacist. Like I want to have a life. I just made a stupid decision. I'm just stupid. I'm a good person. Like I do a lot. I do community service. I help people. I just made a terrible mistake today. But this is not who I am. It's my first time moving out and I just I just I just wanted everything and I'm stupid and I'm sorry. I don't know if you know the answer to this. If I do go to jail, do you know how long I have to be there for? >> I don't know. >> How much was it? >> 7. >> Okay. Was it a,000? >> What was it? >> 750. >> $7.50. >> Oh, no. 750. 750. >> Okay. So, it wasn't a,000. Okay. >> So, the the 750 is the total amount that she took. Is that right? >> So, you're going to leave me. >> With her experience in shoplifting, the woman believed that keeping the total under $900 meant she would not go to jail. But this time, she made another mistake that actually landed her behind bars. >> No, but you know, is it not? It's not a,000. So, if you can just give me that cuz it's not a thousand. Please just extend any kind of courtesy you can't. >> It's not about courtesy. >> I know, but you said a thousand and it's not,00,000 is a felony. We arrest people a lot of times for stuff that's not a felony. Okay, >> I'll find out. >> Here's the deal. Sorry it took me so long. >> It took me a while to find you in the system. >> It sounds like whenever you do that, you're just trying to change your name so that we don't >> Oh, no. No. That's why I gave you my address and I could give you my social security right now. >> No, no, I found you. I That's not my point. My point is >> No, I give you both. I tried to give you and I also gave him both names as well. Yeah, just cuz I'm >> You got to stop it with literally almost >> Okay. Well, how did she spell her name? >> Okay. Yeah, that's her name in the system. >> Well, that's not the name that she gave me initially. >> Okay. >> So, deal. Um, you giving me false info? >> No, I didn't give you false. >> That could be an additional charge. Okay. >> Wait, but I gave you I gave you the correct spelling of both names, though. >> Bottom line is $691 worth of stuff. You're going to counting. Okay. >> Okay. No, you you've done this multiple times. You ob you just got arrested for it a month ago and you just did it again, which shows us that you have absolutely no contrition for what you did. >> I know >> you weren't stealing essential items. >> Vacuum, a broom. >> We're not talking about it. >> You're going to jail. Okay, >> but can I say something? My lawyer My lawyer told me that if it's not if it's below $900 that I don't have to go to jail. >> Your lawyer doesn't make decisions to go to jail. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I don't I don't mean to offend you or anything, but >> please officer, I I I I know you want I know you want to take me to county. I know you do. But please, >> why would I want to do that? >> Because you're doing your job. But I and I respect that and I respect that. But I also know I also know if I don't know like how this like if there's someone ringed above you or anything. If he was able to give me a chance, he would give me a chance. >> In desperation, she cried and invoked her parents, her family, and relatives in law enforcement, repeatedly begging for a last chance. Yet none of it changed anything. >> Yeah. So I I think they're cutting you a break by giving me a refund. >> Okay. Can I Can I say one thing without you hating me? I know you already hate me right now. >> I don't hate you. >> If you have Yeah. You might have You might not have kids. We're not We're not going to keep if you could just extend the courtesy for me if your kids made a mistake. Please don't do this to me. >> I'll hurt anybody. >> It'll break my parents heart. Officer, please. Please give me a chance. Please. >> Uh yeah, we should be good to go. Officer, please. Please. >> You You did this. >> I know. I know. I did this right now. You're >> blaming us. >> I know. I know. I'm not blaming you guys. I just My aunt's an NYPD officer and she tells me she says courtesy to people all the time because >> Okay. I I would really appreciate if you stop said courtesy cuz it's not a courtesy. You just stole $600 worth of finance. >> I know. And I made a mistake and I'm aware of it and and I want you to know I'm aware of it and I and I will whatever you want me to do, I will show you changes actively. I will I will do it. Please. You should be good to go here then. Um, do you guys need anything else? >> Yes, sir. >> All right, you guys take care. Go and stand up for me. All right, >> officer. Please stand up. >> In the end, she was charged with lararseny of merchandise and taken to county jail due to repeated shoplifting offenses, repeated excuses, and calculated wrongdoing do not erase responsibility. Ignoring consequences only guarantees that the punishment will eventually be real and unavoidable. Next, meet a mother who dragged her pregnant daughter into shoplifting. >> No, you're not going to touch my purse. And you can keep that. >> You're not cooperative. You're under arrest. >> On the 24th of May, 2023, police officers observed the suspects believed to be a mother and daughter committing skip scanning at a selfch checkckout register. When they attempted to leave, officers intercepted them and caught them in the act on the spot. supply. >> Yes. >> Like what? >> You're ringing up Kool-Aid packets and then you rang up a tank top for the shirt. >> I'm going to hang on to your purse for you. >> No, you're not cooped. My purse and you can keep that. >> You're not cooperative. YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. YOU are under arrest. >> How did you walk out THE DOOR? >> I DIDN'T WALK OUT THAT DOOR. >> DO NOT MOVE. You are under arrest. >> You are under arrest. Do not move. YOU GOT TO TAKE me off. >> Yes. >> Okay. I'll take it. >> Just follow. Go with them. >> Go with them. I need you to come here. Place your hands behind your back. >> I'm not going to jail. >> I didn't say you're going to jail. I said you're under arrest. >> No, THAT'S >> SIR, YOU CANNOT TOUCH ME. >> I can't. >> You are under arrest. >> The mother clearly revealed her anxiety when she chose to abandon the merchandise just to walk away. Along with her resistance, the situation involving her quickly escalated into a tense confrontation. >> Go nowhere. I DID NOT even go nowhere. What is wrong with you? Get your hands OFF OF ME. >> OKAY, GET YOUR HANDS off of me. >> You're hurting me. >> You're hurting me. You need to back up. >> You need to back up because she didn't. >> She didn't leave. >> I DIDN'T EVEN GO NOWHERE. >> She didn't leave the door. So therefore, you can't grab on her. >> Okay. Okay. Can you let me go? >> Let go. >> No, I cannot. I can. Yes, you can. You're not under arrest. >> No, she's not under arrest. She didn't leave out. >> I didn't even go nowhere. >> Watch out. Get off her. >> Okay, get Can you just let me go? I cannot. >> Okay, I will do what you >> This is my daughter. Can you stop, please? >> I need her to leave me alone. >> Stop. Okay, Pyra, stop. >> No, >> stop. Okay, she's pregnant. Please let me go and I I will calm down. >> Stop. Why are you squeezing my arm? >> Get her phone and record this. >> No, he can't do this thing. You just walk out the door. >> Okay. >> What are you doing? I'm not even doing nothing. >> Get off of her. She didn't go out the door. So, >> I'm not even doing nothing. >> Let her go. >> I'm not even doing nothing. >> So, you have to let her go. >> The daughter believed she was innocent. So, she even laughed at her mother's actions and interfered with the officer's work. But everything came to a halt when backup police arrived. >> Okay, real simple. You guys are under arrest. >> You are not in charge with theft. >> Put your hands in front of you handcuffs. >> Okay. Can you >> It's not up for debate. It's not up for debate. >> Get the [ __ ] away. >> Get the [ __ ] out. >> Then stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. I'm offering to handcuff. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH ME. Stop it. >> I'm trying to not hurt you. You are under arrest. You are not in charge of me. Get the off. GET THE [ __ ] OFF. >> NO. HEY, get off. >> Well, you got to stop fighting. Okay. >> All right. Stand up. Stand up for me. Put your hands ON YOUR BACK. OKAY. >> Put your hands on your back. >> GET THE [ __ ] OFF. >> HELP THEM. >> You got her. >> GET OFF OF ME. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. GET THE OFF. >> You're on a Let's go. GET OFF OF ME. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. GET THE OFF OF ME. Don't touch me. >> Given the chaos that unfolded, what did you think about the officer's actions? While the suspects completely believed they did not deserve such treatment. >> I just want to make sure my daughter is all right. >> Well, your daughter's not there. She's walking out. >> Okay. Just Okay. >> I mean, you shouldn't have did all that. She was pregnant. >> Okay. She's still resisting. >> No, she's not resisting. She was just saying, >> "Put your leg up." Oh my god. >> Have a question. >> DO YOU UNDERSTAND your rights? >> You understand your rights? >> Yes, you are under arrest for theft. Okay. It doesn't matter if you haven't left the store. Once you pass the last point of sale, >> I didn't pass nothing. >> Okay. Well, they have to conceal an item is theft whether you are in store or not. >> Okay. >> All right. We're not having court out here. Just go. >> Okay. What's your name, young lady? >> My name is See my ID. I watched you look through the whole purse. There's nothing in there. I didn't steal nothing. You didn't see me walk out with nothing. >> Okay. So, you're under arrest right now. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against in court. You have the right to attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, the courts will point one to you. You have the right to stop answering questions anytime you talk to an attorney. You also have the right to stop answering questions at any time. You understand what your rights are? >> At that point, the officers returned to the store to verify the items the women had caused losses with. Never happens that way for us, unfortunately. >> What are you shooting at here? All right. I don't have one anymore. They're coming. They're They're coming here. She's pregnant. She's >> They're going to go behind the building so that it's not going on. I just don't want a bunch of I don't need the crowd coming out there cause harassment out there too, you know. >> Returning to the suspects, there was hardly any sign of guilt shown and the total charges against them were confirmed shortly afterward. >> Come on out, ma'am. >> You need some milk? >> Yeah. >> All right. It's going to be a little easier if you can lean back a little bit and get that other leg out. >> Okay, >> there you go. All right, now we can scoot forward. >> Now you can press against the frame. There you go. Scoot yourself. >> I can't. I honestly can't. Woo. Hold on. >> Both of you here. I want to say this now so I don't forget later. Okay. Now, understand that what I'm about to say, I tell every person that I take to county jail. It is not a personal thing. It is not an accusation. It is a statement. Okay? If you have anything on you, any drugs, any paraphernalia, or any weapons right now, >> ladder doesn't have a paraphernalia. Oh. >> Right. Including marijuana. You got >> Oh, no. I don't >> I'm again >> I'm not making a judgment. I'm making a statement. Right. >> That >> I think I got >> Once we get to the county jail, it doesn't matter what it is. >> Right. Your lighter is not relevant. >> Okay. Do you want to put my keys in my >> uh I'll check here in just a second. >> Okay. >> But if you have any, you know, pipes, any papers, anything like that, any drugs, once we get in jail, doesn't matter what it is, it becomes a felony free for conveyance. So right now we can deal with it, you know, on possibly like a lower misdemeanor level depending on what it is. >> All right. But again, it's not a judgment. It's a statement that I make to every person I take to the county jail. So when we get in there like, "Oh, you know, I had dope stuff up in me. I didn't know. You did know because I I gave you the opportunity. I have made the statement. Cruiser came reporting. My body came reporting." Right. >> There's no denying that >> that you were that people were given this warning. Are you worried about something? Yes. >> With the total value of the stolen merchandise exceeding $500, both were charged with theft and resisting law enforcement. Their actions showed how denial and resistance only made a bad situation worse. A moment of poor judgment instead of accountability turned a simple theft into serious criminal charges. In the next case, this delusional woman still believed she held power. >> Stand in the store. On the 8th of May 2023, officers were dispatched to Circle K after noticing a vehicle with mismatched license plates. The plates were even registered to a person with an active warrant. This was what happened immediately afterward. >> My name's Aaron. You wouldn't happen to know whose car that is, did you? >> Is that your car? What's your name? >> Huh? What's your name? >> Mar. >> Okay. The plates are coming back to a different car. You know something about that? >> No. How long you had that car? >> No, like 3 months. >> What's that? >> 3 months. I bought it for somebody. >> Okay. So, the plates are coming back to a different car when we run the plates and the plates that are on it come back to Chevy Equinox. Obviously, that's not a Equinox and the plates are expired as the last year. I got to call the person and see why it doesn't say that. >> Would do you mind do you mind moving that piece of paper so I can verify the VIN on that card? >> You got to give me one more. I got to take the phone. >> All right. The VIN is partially uh covered up, but the first three don't match the VIN that's on the plate. >> He's speaking with a clerk inside here. >> The woman appeared completely calm in the face of the suspicions raised by the officers. And even when police explained the details more clearly, her attitude remained entirely dismissive. >> So the plate comes back to a 2014 Chevy Equinox. Okay, that's not an Equinox. That's a Chevy Impala. The license plates are expired as of last uh July. Okay. Um so want to verify the registration on the vehicle, >> but you got a piece of paper there on the bin that's half covered up. So you have your ID on you first? >> No, I didn't bring it cuz I was clearly at work. Well, >> right. Okay. We're not trying to cause you any problems, but obviously there's a vehicle out here with plates that aren't matching. We just want to verify make sure the car is not stolen or anything like that. >> I got a >> I mean, you don't have to. >> I don't know. I got to call the person car. >> You don't There's nothing that that person's going to be able to do right now. What's your social? >> I don't know my social by her. I don't have nothing on me. How old are you? Go get the phone. I'm 24. I'm not supposed to phone. >> Just hold on. Hold on. No, you don't have to call anybody. >> Where's the keys to the car? Are you able to move that piece of paper so I can see the VIN? >> Yeah, I have to go in the I have to go in the drive and get out the office. >> Okay. >> Even the vehicle appeared poorly maintained, which was highly suspicious. But the woman's attitude toward it only raised even bigger questions. >> It's a long time ago. The pipes that's on it, as I already explained, don't belong to that car. So, I'm towing the car. >> You can't do that though cuz the car not moving. I I cannot do that. >> I cannot do that. I can do that. I can do that. Those plates don't come back to that vehicle. You cannot do that. >> You also cannot do that. You cannot do that. We're not driving. You can't do this. >> Listen. >> No. No. No. Stop. Don't touch. >> Don't touch. I'm not touching. Listen. You also have >> Don't touch me. Look at it. Look at it. You see, right? Now, I'm about to put my camera on. Now, I'm about to put my camera on. >> You can put your camera on, but come over here and talk. I'm going to explain some stuff. I'm going to explain some stuff. >> Cannot do that. Y'all cannot do that. No. >> I'm going to explain some stuff to you. Get away from the door. Come over this way so people can get in the door. >> Y'all cannot do that. >> Okay. Come over this way so people can get into the door. Please get into my >> You cannot go inside. >> Miss Roger, please don't make situations worse. This gentleman is trying to get in the store. Come over here. >> Come over here so I can speak to you. I'm not in my car. Y'all can talk to me at my job. No, we're not going to we're not going to put your business out in the middle of the store. You're already creating a show right here. >> Come out. Come out here so this gentleman can get outside. >> Miss Ros, >> what did you think about the woman's attitude? She made excuses for everything, yet she offered no help in resolving the situation. And every act of obstruction she caused led to an outcome she never wanted. Whatever y'all got to say to me, I'm standing in the store. They not doing nothing. Stop. >> Stop. The door. >> No. >> Come on. You're creating the show. Stop. >> I see this right. >> People are trying to get into the store. Stop. Miss, >> they are putting their hands on me and I'm not doing nothing to them. >> Please stop. >> Come on. >> Stop. >> Put their hands on me. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> No. Whatever y'all can say to me, I'll stay on the camera. >> We're recording. >> Get off my head. Get off my head. >> They didn't. You didn't. >> Now they're put me in handcuffs. Crystal. Now they're putting me in handcuffs. Crystal. Stop. >> Now they're taking MY PHONE. NOW THEY'RE TAKING MY PHONE. THEY got my phone. Stop. Stop. >> They got my phone. They put me in. >> Can you Can you get proper? >> You see this Melissa, right? >> No. Stop. Stop resisting. >> Cuz they pulled me out my job and I wasn't even doing this. >> Stop it. >> You see this, right? >> Okay. All right. Now, we're going back. >> We'll explain it to you in a second as soon as we get her handled. Let's go. >> They're wrong. >> I did not touch them. >> They went in my pockets. They touching on me. >> No, I'm Y'all don't supposed to do that though. >> Y'all don't supposed to do that though. >> Who is that? I supposed to do this? They didn't went in my pockets or all type of stuff. Like, what? >> The officers struggled to handcuff her. Yet, she claimed she was the victim. Once again, chaos erupted at the patrol car. >> Where are your kids at? >> Give me my phone. >> No, man. GIVE ME MY PHONE, MAN. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> GIVE ME MY PHONE. NO. Give me my phone. >> Get in the car. >> GIVE ME MY PHONE. PUT YOUR FEET IN THE CAR. >> NO. Give me my phone. >> Get your feet in the car. >> Give me my phone. >> Put your feet in the car. Give me my phone. No, I need to make sure my kids good. Give me my phone. I'm not about to waste no one phone call when I have two people to call. Give me my phone. >> Well, maybe they'll be more than willing to do that. I don't know exactly what's wrong. You may be there to get racist. Give me my phone. >> Put your feet in a car. >> Give me my phone. I need to call my I need a car to make sure my kids good. Give me my phone. >> Put your feet in a car. >> No, I need a car to make sure my kids good. You need to stop. You need to stop. >> You need to stop. You need to stop. You need to stop. We need to stop now. Stop. >> I need my phone. I need my phone. >> Shut up. Stop. I need my phone. >> Oh, so we can't close the door. Stop. >> Relax your legs. >> I need my phone. No. I need my phone. >> Listen. Listen. Relax your leg. >> RELAX. >> WE'RE GIANT. COME ON. YOU GOING TO HOBBLE OR ANYTHING? STOP. You need a side. >> In the end, the woman was charged with resisting arrest. And in recent proceedings, the suspect failed to appear in court, refusing to cooperate and clinging to false entitlement only made the situation worse, turning a manageable stop into serious legal consequences. Even more astonishingly, this mother could not bear the consequences caused by her own wrongful actions. >> No, I'm Maya. >> You're Maya. Okay. Your friend >> Ku. >> Kea. >> Stand her up. Stand up. >> On April 2nd, 2022, police responded to a reported shoplifting incident where the suspect was identified as a woman traveling with her family who fled into the parking lot immediately afterward. This was what happened when officers arrived at the scene. We got that [ __ ] right back there. We got that [ __ ] right there. >> I don't got nothing. You can see. >> Okay, no worries. Uh any guns, weapons, bazookas, anything of that nature is going to hurt me, probably me, prick me. >> I don't have relax. We will talk to you in just a minute. Okay. We got called in because they were seeing her shoplifting. Okay. So, >> lift us up. >> We're going to go back to the store and figure that out real quick. Okay. Back. Okay. >> I got it, >> man. I don't have my phone. Um, your first relax. I got my >> So, let me explain to you real quick. Let me talk. Let me talk real quick. Let him go. And then >> So, you told me that you they got your stuff back. I'm assuming that you could you was trying to shop there, correct? >> Charging the girl. Both of them. >> Contrary to the suspect's personal account, the store manager confirmed that shoplifting had indeed occurred and stated that another woman was also involved. >> Ma'am, where's where do the other girl go? >> I don't know which way she went, but they was all together. I knew that the guy was trying to get bad with me. So, I was like, I just fell back, but she got long uh curly weave in her head, >> dark female, black sweatshirt, sweatpants. >> Great sweatpants and and like curly hair. I'm All right, let me see. >> Where' the other girl go? That was different from the car. >> See anybody? >> Sorry. Hey, under this white Dodge journey, I got a bag at least. Please get me out of here. >> Ro off. Officer >> mouth. >> I didn't put nothing in that bag, sir. >> We'll get to that point in just a minute. Okay. Am I going getting arrested? Cuz I they got their stuff back. I >> said I need to see the video first. Okay. >> Okay. I did not put nothing in the bag, sir. >> Did it not raise suspicion that if she truly put nothing into the bag, she still hid it beneath a stranger's car and begged so desperately as if this was far from the first time she had faced a situation like this. >> Can I get a ticket? I was not stupid, sir. >> I took it for what? I >> I don't know. I just not I was not stupid. >> How you doing? >> See you. >> Give me just a second. Right. >> Can you please can you relax? Relax for me. Okay. Take a seat for me. Okay. Relax. Okay. >> It's my baby birthday tomorrow. >> I'm going to take off your shirt. Okay. >> I can't get my shoes. >> Um I won't be able to take it off. I need to check if there's anything inside. Okay. Ma'am, >> nothing inside. >> You want to check it real quick and we go from there on out. Okay. >> Yes, sir. birthday tomorrow. I have money. I have everything. I wasn't coming to spend nothing. >> Okay, just relax for me. Okay, >> I work at a daycare and everything. I was not coming to see him. I cannot lose my job. They they push it. I didn't do anything. At that moment, the officer attempted to explain that her actions were completely wrong and that she should have cooperated to help identify and locate the remaining suspect. >> Sitting in handcuffs is not the most ideal thing in the world, okay? But I want you to be just understand where we're at, okay? And then we we'll take it from there about figuring out who your friend is. >> Okay. >> And getting her charged with the shoplifting. Okay. >> Am I going to jail? >> I don't know yet. >> Please. >> I I hear I I hear what you're saying and I sympathize with you, but I do not know yet. I do not know all the facts. Okay. >> Please, ma'am. Please. I didn't >> Well, let's let's get some deep breaths in. Let's get some deep breath in. Okay. >> I just got to get out the room. Yes, she was doing. >> And you know what year your um I guess boyfriend's car is, >> huh? >> You know what year that Chevy is? Cuz it's not registered properly. >> No, I think it's 20 a 20 a 2012. I don't know. >> 2012. Okay, cuz I got to figure that out next. You know, and he was not very um let's just say respectful. >> What' he do? He um basically kept interrupting when we're trying to explain like nicely you and I are having a conversation and we're respecting each other, right? >> He apologizes. >> Yeah. And when we say slow down, hold a minute, you know, he just keeps talking and talking over us and then he's trying to talk to the loss prevention officer, right? And just creating chaos, you know, and the last thing we want to do is do this in front of your three-year-old. >> Meanwhile, on the other side, the review of the surveillance camera footage was also carried out. Uh-huh. >> Okay, ma'am. So, um I'll show you the footage. You are being arrested for shopping today. Okay. >> Sir, she was putting stuff in the bag. Sir, >> you knew what she was doing. Let me speak. If you keep interrupting me, I'm not going to be able to explain to you. I'm not going to explain nothing. All I got to tell you is you being arrested for shoplifting. That's it. Okay. So, you let me speak. I I I'll explain to you step by step what's going on. Okay. >> My birthday tomorrow. I didn't put nothing in that bag. My birthday tomorrow. Can you please get his first dad? So, my name is Darling Maya. I'm going go over my uh paperwork. You been trespassed from my store from my life for a lifetime. You're not able to come to me store. >> Please just get there. I will never come back to your store again, ma'am. I got a job and everything. Sir, can I please please work with me? >> They're pressing charges. We're going to the cap county. Okay. >> C County No. Can you go to Fton County? >> We're cap county. What did you think about her desperate please? Leave a comment and keep watching to see the unbearable consequences her actions ultimately caused this case for proceeding with criminal prosecution. >> Mr. Dunn, is that everything you need to read to her? >> Statement of admission. I'm almost done. >> Use your phone. >> On November 3rd, police received a report of a theft at a shopping mall where two women allegedly took thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. Okay. >> But are we are we going to go to jail? >> I don't know yet. The suspect also admitted that her coverup came from the person accompanying her. At that moment, police also approached that individual who was still wearing an electronic ankle monitor. >> We're going to hang tight with my partner real quick and then we're going to go ahead and explain everything. Okay. Is uh you drive a like a blue Honda or something or >> um No, I drive a gray Honda. >> Gray Honda. Sorry. Okay. Where's your car at? >> Um over here. >> Over there. Okay. >> Is there anybody else with the car or just No. Who's in the other? >> Whoever she was with is this is your friend though. >> This is my sister. >> Your sister? >> I mean, not my blood sister, but definitely grew up together. Who's in the other car? >> I don't know yet. >> Take your phone. We'll take your phone cuz we got >> I'm getting arrested for what? >> We'll talk about that in a second. >> You don't You're just being detained right now. >> I don't want to. >> Yeah. >> Is that good? >> Yeah, that's fine. >> That's fine. >> Hold on. I just want to lock them for you so they don't get >> What What's your ankle on this? >> I missed court. >> For what? >> Um >> What's the charges? >> Some [ __ ] up charges. Um from like 2018. After detaining the woman, officers sat beside her and gently worked to obtain information which made the truth come out more easily. >> So knowing what you know based on the period of time that you came and left because you know everything this girl's doing. And when she jumped in your car yesterday, you had to have looked over and been like, "That's a that's $3,000 worth of fragrances. What are you doing?" >> Honestly, I never ever looked in your bed. I never have. >> But him and her ran and jumped in your car. >> Yeah. You got video and photographs of your car >> and them stealing and getting into your car. Right. >> So, you drove him from the scene of a crime and you said like like that's a easy way cuz I'm just I'm really telling you everything I know. I'm just saying it, you know, and you're trying to hide it. You're looking for the answer. Like, you know that they did that yesterday. You guys were in your car. Like, >> but like honestly, just like you asked me on spot like where was it at this time? You could have just asked me what we did yesterday >> instead of me thinking of what >> I don't want to lead you. You know what I'm saying? >> Well, yeah. I remember for her. I didn't know that was who she was with today, though. >> I I I want to do a search warrant because I don't I don't want to violate your rights. I don't want you to feel coerced because you have the monitor in there. I don't want I want you to be protected, you know, and I want to do things right, you know? I don't want to just make it seem like that's easy cuz I feel like I'd be taking advantage of the circumstance. >> So, >> okay, >> let me make a call and I'll ask I'll ask uh >> anything drug related if she swear if she dropped foil in my car. >> It ain't mine. >> Does that does she smoke off of foil? >> Yeah. >> Thus, all wrongdoing became clear. At that point, both suspects were taken to the police station. The atmosphere turned tense again as they realized the consequences caused by their own actions. Wait, >> it's still the property. >> So, >> he's going to jail, too. >> He has a warrant for his arrest. >> I was trying to see was in the other car. >> So, so guys, but they're just testers though. Like, they're probably >> That's not what you're going to be arrested for. You're not You're getting arrested for all the other stuff that you just stole. They have a case against you. Oh, what? What other test? >> $20,000 worth of from Sephora. >> I just been taking testers, though. They're just testers. I've been taking all testers. >> So, this one is going to be separate from theirs, which is not right. >> I It's over 20,000 $20,000 worth of stuff. >> His one? >> No, mine. >> Um, we're going to figure that out. The sergeant's going to do that. >> Trying to figure out what I'm going to jail for. You guys You guys You How you guys even be able to prove that? >> How do you even do that? >> Because they have video footage of it. >> So So friends can't hang out. >> Wait, wait, wait. >> I've never been in. >> Never ever. We've never even been in together. Yeah. >> Hold on. What's your name? >> That's >> okay. You could tell there's a charging officer. He's the guy that was just here telling you. That's >> No, I can't get charged. She got charged. >> Yeah, for real. She didn't say nothing. Like, literally, that was all me by myself. >> She ends up probation. >> That was all my testers. >> Oh, this is my >> The female suspect had completely underestimated the situation. What she did not know was that police were fully aware of her past offenses, and even she panicked when that reality set in. >> What have we been charged with? >> So, what's our charge that I'm getting? So, the charging uh sergeant is going to come in and tell you guys exactly. I don't want to say exactly, right? >> Until he knows. Okay. >> Shouldn't it be just like shot team? >> No, because we do it multiple times a career. >> So, you're getting conspiracy contributing to the delinquency of a minor cuz he's >> OH MY GOD. NO. HELL. [ __ ] NO. THAT'S NOT THAT'S NOT COOL, BRO. HELL NO. THAT'S NOT COOL AT ALL. THAT IS NOT COOL AT ALL, YOU GUYS. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW he was in there, bro. HERE, WE DIDN'T EVEN GO IN TOGETHER. >> YOU WANT TO CHILL? YOU WANT TO CHILL OUT? >> OH MY GOD, MY ARM. >> WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Everything that you're acting at and doing right now is not going to help your face. >> Go to the judge. >> Okay. >> Got to chill out. It's just a charge. It's not. >> No, you guys. You guys never been to jail. You guys don't know. You guys don't know my life. You guys don't know what I GO THROUGH ON A ON A DAILY. YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW. >> AGAIN, >> you guys don't know. You guys don't even care. Stop. >> It's just a charge. It's not a conviction. You still have to see a judge. If you freak out, >> I don't even know how long I'm going to be in jail for. You shouldn't even worry cuz I got a whole case. Although the female suspect reacted irritably at first, only minutes later the suspects appeared completely calm about the situation, showing no remorse as they compared each other's offenses. >> Dude, listen. I'm faceless. I can agree though. You're not facing a felony, you dumb [ __ ] >> But you know what my convictions are? >> Yeah, you don't wor. >> You don't have no convictions, stupid. >> Your indictment doesn't show up to car, right? Why you so >> your indictment is gone? >> You guys got jokes. >> I know, huh? >> I know you guys have some more jokes on. I can make some jokes, too. When >> I start joking, don't get me. >> Oh god. Y'all want to make some jokes? I can make some jokes, too. >> First of all, that man go so damn perfect. Not perfect. How perfect. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> A >> You want to like >> put your hair on your phone? >> Can I keep rubbing on? >> I got my hair any day. >> Huh? >> What? >> Did you want to fix your hair? >> Yeah. Yeah. Let me just hold on real quick. Wait. I'm almost done. >> Use your strong arm. In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft and resisting law enforcement, while she also had an outstanding charge for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This case showed that underestimating the law and relying on others to cover wrongdoing only led to heavier consequences and deeper trouble.
