I don't have anything. That's mine. Stop yelling. >> That's all of my stuff. You're being >> No, I have I was going to return everything. I went to return that stuff. That's my stuff. >> Shut up. >> Okay. >> Listen. >> I don't have Don't touch it. Don't touch me. I ain't GOT NOTHING. DON'T TOUCH ME. I'm not a dog. I need one. >> So, please do anything. >> Miss Walker, then let's get through this. >> Okay. Get a ticket, please. I can't do my nut fool. >> In modern life, we're surrounded by security devices and shopping centers are no different. Yet, some foolish thieves ignore them and act brazenly, not just once, and they'll face consequences. Never pretty. Let's dive into the moments when serial shoplifterss forget the cameras are rolling. If you want to see more content like this, hit that subscribe button and a like. Beginning with this case, perhaps one of the calmst arrests you'll ever witness. >> You're placing arrest. >> Me? Yes ma'am. >> Oh my goodness. For grand theft from theft from Target. >> The only way you can get in more trouble now is if you took off running. So I don't think you're going to do that. So >> I would not. >> On February 12th, 2025, officers were dispatched to confront a woman accused of stealing 151 items worth $3,400. Shockingly, her thefts had stretched over 4 months and 18 separate visits. Every act was captured in full detail by the selfch checkckout surveillance cameras. Let's see what happened next. >> Yeah, she is able to live by herself. She's not. >> Yeah, of course. >> Um, want to go somewhere and locate it? >> Uh, we can go. Sure. >> Sorry. It's all open everywhere. And our AC is broken. So I think it's going to be hot in here, too. Sorry. >> I just I'm trying to spare whatever here. So, >> okay. You're being placed for arrest. >> Me? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Oh my goodness. >> For grand theft from theft from Target. So, there's 10 to 18 different times that you found a Target and paid for items and then did not pay for items and they offer you all on video and photos and all of that. So, right now, we are here because we have a PC for your arrest. Okay. So, so what does what do I like? Can you kind of tell me what to do while we do this? >> Yeah. So, I'm telling you that right now. >> I don't want to embarrass you in front of your company. So, I'm trying to be nicer about it. >> Of course. >> Um, but I would have to place handcuffs being in the back of my car >> to walk out. Can I walk to your car and then you put me in? >> Yeah, we can do that. Is that okay? Just long as you don't run run away or anything like that. >> The woman even was left in shock by the consequences of her own wrongdoing. Yet, she tried to stay calm and reached out to her family for help. >> Yeah. >> So, I can't call anybody now. I'm just ask I'm not trying to do anything above beyond this >> cuz my kid my ass I I do have kids. >> Yeah. I I did go to your house. I didn't know if he was older. >> I was like I middle school, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. You love middle school. That's my >> How old is your youngest? >> Seven. And he's probably just getting to the clubhouse. >> The clubhouse. >> Yeah. But like this meeting that I was just at that I got pulled out of as soon as it was over I normally go home. Do >> you have anybody else that can go there for at least the evening? >> Do you have a husband, boyfriend? >> Um, yeah. I mean, I can call my h if I'm allowed >> We're giving you >> We're giving you the opportunity to call somebody to go to the house for the kids. >> Yeah. Right. So, I know he's not home now, but he's like, >> you know, at work, so I just let him know. [clears throat] Okay. >> Yeah. It's a whole different situation where other people are yeah looking to call somebody and hurt us. So people are like, "No, >> if he doesn't answer, can I call my mom?" >> Okay, he didn't answer. So >> call your mom. >> As long as you get a hold of somebody, they can make everybody aware. Make sure the kids are good. >> We don't want to be calling DCF or anything like that. So >> yeah, that's why we're like no. Yet, even after reaching her family, she showed no sign of shame for what she had done. And it was clear her loved ones had no idea about the secret life she had been hiding. >> Can I tell him why? >> I just um they said for theft at Target for selfch checkout. >> So, thank you. >> No, I'm not pranking you. >> Yeah. Sorry. Robert Kirk with the K County Sheriff's Office. This not a joke. >> Not the norm. He said he probably >> I just >> Okay. >> letting them know it's not a joke. >> But because I they have gone to the house and Gabe was there. So I told them like Scarlet and Jameson are probably getting home from school right now. So So they don't call DCF because the kids are home alone, not because we did anything wrong. >> Right. >> Okay. Okay. He said he'll leave now with it. That's fine. >> Do you have anything here that you need to take out? >> Um >> like a purse. Um just like my car key. >> Should I leave them? >> I don't know what the right thing to do with you and not >> No, I can leave my car here like overnight or till later as long as you're fine with that. With respectful treatment from the officers, the [music] woman was escorted outside gently and cautiously, ensuring she faced the consequences with dignity, but not without the weight of her actions pressing down on her. >> All right, you ready? >> Obviously, my car is right there and doing it as discretional as possible on the far side. I know all my co-workers. >> Yeah. Um If you want to walk with her to that red car, you can go behind the red car. By the way, >> so as long as you have the funds to bond, >> you can bond out this this afternoon. >> Go home the same day. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. Like I could >> You don't have any priors, right? >> No. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, like I could go like to work tomorrow or people don't do things as long as >> you have to have the money to be able to bond, >> right? And then people can like kind of live in normal until thing. Okay. >> You can do all normal things. It's just right now is the >> this is the moment. >> This is the moment where we unfortunately >> through this moment. >> My windows are pretty tender and I'm sure you'll see anything. In the end, she was charged with grand theft. Her story is a reminder that repeated small crimes eventually catch up. No secret stays hidden forever. If you want to see a not so calm arrest in action, just meet this drama queen. >> Arrest them, sir. I tried to spare them. Arrest them. Arrest all of them. Yeah. On August 14th, 2025, police received a report about a woman acting suspiciously inside a store. Surveillance cameras from multiple angles captured her slightly adding extra products during selfch [music] checkckout. Even when a loss prevention officer disguised as a store assistant approached to help, she deliberately scanned a few more items, pretending everything was normal before preparing to leave. But before she could make her exit, the store manager pushed her cart away. And that's when her attitude shifted. Realizing she'd been caught, she quickly tried to walk out without the merchandise, unaware that waiting just outside was the police. >> Hold on, ma'am. Ma'am, >> I don't have ma'am. You're not free TO GO. LISTEN, >> I DON'T have ma'am. DON'T DON'T touch me. I GOT DON'T TOUCH ME. I got one. >> I DON'T I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING. I don't have nothing. >> GET OFF ME. GET OFF OF ME. >> I don't have nothing to stop. I don't have anything. I don't have nothing. MY TOUCH. >> I don't HAVE ANYTHING. OH MY GOD. >> I got it. >> I don't have anything. I don't have anything. I don't have anything. >> Hold on. >> Don't touch me. >> 23. She will be in a moment. >> Okay, I'm done. I don't have nothing. >> Um, >> I don't have anything. She believed that abandoning the goods cleared her of any wrongdoing. So everything she did was justified and she still demanded to be treated like a paying customer. >> I just went and passed through all my stuff. >> I went to Don't touch. Don't touch me. Way too much. >> Don't touch me. Okay. Now, this is all my stuff right here. I went I was half of my stuff and he he touched me >> at a lower level. The entire parking lot doesn't have to see and look at you. What's going on? I will listen to what you're saying, but lower your voice. >> Okay. I went to get some change so that I could get on the bus. That's all my stuff that I was purchasing. >> That's my stuff that I was I don't have anything. That's mine. >> Stop yelling. >> That's all of my stuff. >> Yelling. You're being >> No, I HAVE I WAS GOING TO return everything. I went to return that stuff. That's my stuff. >> Please shut up. >> Okay. >> You're yelling for nothing. No one cares. >> That's all my stuff that I to return. That's all of my stuff. He didn't have no right to He didn't have no right to touch me. >> Inside the loss prevention office, staff laid out everything that happened at the checkout, proving it was nothing like what the suspect tried to claim. >> Yeah, she came with two tiny >> to return it. >> Was it already in her bag or she come with a bag? >> She came with a bag. >> Okay. >> And then um I asked her the receipt and she said she didn't have a receipt and then I say, "I need your ID to return it." And she said, "Here," she showed me on her wallet. I said, "Take it out." And she refused to take the um the ID out >> and then she just walk away. And right after I was, you know, following her. She went to electronics. >> Mhm. >> And I saw she just grabbed, you know, them >> the chargers. I wasn't sure what was it. So she tried to to put like two at the same time. When she saw me, one of them is drunk >> and she just pick it up. And then I I call the AP and I say, "I'm going on lunch." Keep an eye on her. When I get back, she was still on the stuff and she, you know, bagged pretty much everything. >> She put the stuff on the bag. She >> paid for only two item. >> She only paid for two items. >> She paid for two item. >> And then um I told them, you know, she needs to show the receipt before she leave. And she said, "Oh, I pay on my credit card. and I don't have no receipt. And she said, "I'm not showing no receipt." >> Okay. You're going to have them upload the video. >> Yeah. >> Did she She paid for something. >> So, she paid for two items. >> Yeah, she paid for >> two. Two items >> and then everything else. She >> She didn't pay for She didn't pay for for the rest of the stuff. >> The woman had no idea her every move had been recorded. Though, she still believed she could deny it all and even started making absurd demands to the officers in the car. >> What did he charge me with? I don't know, man. >> Drop this soon. No, drop it. >> What? >> Uh, make him drop the charges. >> No, no, no, no. >> I can't do that, man. >> Can you see if I got a bond? >> I don't do that. You have to. That's for the court. >> Okay. Can you see if I got a bond? >> I can't do that. That's for the court. You go to your first appearance, they'll tell you if you have a bond. Okay. Why did he let me go? I didn't do anything. >> I don't know. What did he say? Ask him. No, I'm not doing it. I ain't I'm not doing it. I ain't doing it. I got plenty of money. Take care. Yeah, I hurt now. No, no, no. Arrest them, sir. I tried to spare them. Arrest them. Arrest all of them. Yeah. Release me out here. Don't f print me. Don't do nothing. Yeah. No. Release me out. When the car arrived at the medical station, she still refused to admit any wrongdoing, behaving as if she were a queen above the law. >> Give me my shoes and can you give me my bag? >> Slide your foot in there. I'm going to grab your shoes for you. >> Can you give me my bag? >> You show me 512 341 Northeast 23rd, please. >> Come on. >> Okay. Can you give me my bag? >> Your bag is going to northeast 23rd. >> What? >> Okay, here. Actually, stand right there so I can take some pictures. >> Let me see your face. Show me. Look. Look up at Look up. Let me see your arms. This way. All right. Let me let me see this. All right. All right. Come on. >> Okay. Can you give me my bag? >> You get your You get your bag in a little bit. >> We're doing the whole thing here. >> Can you take off the hand? >> Here. Just sit. Go back up. Put your legs up and then >> No. No. You got to take off the hand. No, I don't. Put Fine. I'm going to put one on the bed. Relax. Take a deep breath. >> So, can you put two of them on? >> No, you ain't. >> No. Take off the handcuffs. >> The woman was charged with retail theft with two prior theft convictions and resisting arrest. Lesson. [snorts] Even when someone thinks they can escape by leaving stolen items behind or making excuses, every action is being recorded. Denial and arrogance won't protect you. Law enforcement and evidence always catch up. Next, a woman with no identity, no honesty, and no way to escape her crimes. >> Remember, everything's on camera. >> No, I get it. That's fine. But >> you lied to us. >> It's a good straight kick to the jail. >> I don't know what you're trying to get out of this. You're under arrest. >> On July 28th, 2024, police were dispatched to a Walmart after reports of a woman attempting to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. Upon arrival, officers were able to track her every move through the store's surveillance cameras. Uh, >> she's doing a second return. Okay. Okay. He's trying to scan her her her digital receipt. >> Yeah. Just for the record, we have PC already for a return fraud. >> Uh, he struggled last night. It's not scanning for whatever reason. >> Where's your authority guy? Is he going to help you? >> I still have not been able to locate him. He might actually be on lunch. >> We only had one today. I cannot find him anywhere. She's doing a second return for Sean. Actually, she might be doing a third return. >> Wow. Sounds like she needs to go to jail. Yeah, I she's I I'm just I don't even want to know how many times she's gotten away on us. >> Tell your uh yellow vest, don't stop her. Just wave her on. >> Keep going. Keep going. >> Yeah, I swear to God if she goes into subway, I'm going to have a freaking stroke. No, we got the crime anyway already. So, we'll just contact her in Safeway. >> All right. So, he's giving her more cash now. >> Okay. >> Can't exactly tell how much cash he's pulling out. He's not making it easy for me to count. >> That's okay. >> All right. But he did give her a receipt. So, we'll just use that receipt. She put that money in her right pocket. No, she pulled it back out. >> She's going to be gone by the time we get there anyway. >> All right. She's moving away from the customer service. She did not try to return that speaker. >> Okay. So, she's going to walk out with it then. >> Yeah. She looks like she's coming to the GM or the pharmacy site. I lied. She turned around. >> Okay. >> What the [ __ ] Yep. She's going towards grocery now. >> Grocery. Okay. >> All right. She's in front of the nail salon. >> Okay. >> She's in front of Subway. Yeah, she's coming out. She's wearing a black shirt with like a Playboy bunny on her back. >> She out the store. >> Just as the woman thought she had gotten away and walked out of the store, police quickly moved in and arrested her on the spot. Let's see how she reacted. >> Put your hands behind your back. Drop the receipts. Put your phone down. Put your hands behind your back. Do you have any weapons on you? >> No. >> Okay. You're under arrest for theft. I've been watching you for about a good 20 minutes already. I just paid for that though and I just went to the restaurant before >> tried doing it yesterday too. >> Everything wasn't do anything yesterday. >> You got away. You're right. >> You're under arrest for theft. The speaker is not paid for. We know that already. This receipt shopping. You didn't select You selected these things from the store. >> I just paid for I just paid for those. I got the receipt right there. >> The suspect thought she could escape the charges with the receipts in her hand as proof of innocence. But with everything police had uncovered, those very papers became her one-way ticket to jail. >> Remember, everything is on camera. I get it. That's fine. But >> you lie to us. >> It's a good straight kick to the jail. >> Look at the receipts. What I was saying. >> Yeah, the receipts are all fraudulent. We know already. You're not the first person that brought this up. Okay. So, anyway, you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand your rights? No. >> Okay. So, we're going to escort you back to the loss prevention office. >> At that moment, police realized they had only uncovered part of the truth because even the woman's personal information had been completely fabricated. Okay, first off, we have to identify you. What is this nonsense? Tessa M comes back to a Talis P who's a male that's 611 175. >> Why would your brother come up as you? >> That's not my name though. I don't know why. >> I don't know either. >> There's driver status right there. >> Well, you better start thinking about different name cuz this one ain't working. You just said that that was your brother. >> No, I'm saying I don't. But it's not me right there. You know, you got to keep your lies straight cuz I listen really well. >> Okay. What I'm trying to say is that the driver's status >> I don't give a rat's ass about the driver status. I want to know who you are. I'm going to run it one more time and if not, you're you're just going to go to jail for providing false information to law enforcement. I don't give a [ __ ] about the driver's status. What is your real name? >> That's my name. >> That don't look like her. >> Oh, she's got multiple boys. >> What is your middle initial and what is your date of birth? >> 93. Nope. comes back to tell us 61175 male. You're definitely not a male. >> Is your ID out of Washington? >> No, it's Portland, Oregon. >> It's out of Oregon. >> Yeah, >> it's in my purse. >> It's It's in your purse inside. >> That should be said. I'm not sure. >> So, which one of these IDs is yours? >> Tessa. >> So, how many >> passport to the right? >> Yeah. Who are these? >> I'm not sure, sir. >> Her scheme had already been exposed. She stole the merchandise yesterday and came back today to return it for cash. But that was exactly what the store staff had been waiting for. >> Is she 100% the one that tried to get out yesterday? Um, >> we have my card. >> She didn't change her clothes or anything. >> Really? >> She said she tried to use her card, but everything she said >> tried to take the card out of merchandise, but there was three managers that prevented her from doing it. >> No, they didn't stop me or anything. They were just standing around me. And that's when you decided that, oh, I'm not going to risk it getting caught because you were right there at the point of sale. Final point of sale to take it out, >> right? My card declined. >> Well, you still took the cart all the way to the final point of sale. >> Yeah. Who does that? >> Well, you have to to bring it up. >> But your car got declined. How you going to pay for it? >> You leave your card. >> Okay. You're going to be booked into jail cuz that's the only reasonable way we can identify you cuz you got so many IDs. You can't find your driver's license. So, that's the safest way for me cuz I don't want to get your name is not really Tessa. I don't want to get >> Tessa in trouble because you lied about your identity. >> I'm telling you the truth about my identity, you guys. It's right there. >> Which one? >> The Tessa. >> Like I said, I just grabbed that bag. >> It doesn't really look like you. >> I'm moving. Just grab my bag there. Use that bag. >> So that's $649. That's not counting the refund from >> Wow. >> $649. >> Wow. >> What? Me? >> Yeah. >> I just paid for some though. Not even close to this ain't even close to $649. >> Have you ever been trespassed or anything from here, you guys? >> Going to be trespassed and cited and booked into jail. >> Even when the woman realized her plan had completely fallen apart and there was no way to talk her way out, she immediately came up with new tricks to try. >> Oh, come on. I find that hard to believe. >> Look, everything >> I've never done. >> Everything you said >> since the time we contacted you with you the whole either been a lie or some kind of roundabout crap. >> How has it been a lie? I've been honest about everything. >> I paid for that. >> No, I paid for some of it. As I said, >> you know what? We're not We're not dealing with semantics here. This is not an English language course. Okay. >> I have pretty good years. I've been doing this for 30 years. I know when people lie to me. >> What What state were you born in? >> Portland, Oregon. >> Oh my god. >> I thought you said the passport. >> More the difference. >> No. What do you mean? >> He He just asked you. >> I didn't hear him say >> what state were you born in. I heard it. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I thought he was talking about that. >> And you said Portland, Oregon. >> That's where I'm from. I'm sorry. That's just You guys have a lot going on right now. Like >> a lot going on. I got a lot going on too. >> I'm sorry you guys. I've never done this before. >> What's your last name? >> How do you spell it? >> Okay. What's your middle or sorry, what's your first name? >> Tessa. >> Tessa. What's your middle initial? >> M as in Mary. >> Yes. Why does your passport say L? >> Does not. >> That's not your passport all of a sudden. >> No, I didn't say that. >> Then what? >> You guys, >> you know what? I'm just going to do the site based on what she's giving me >> and the jail can figure it out. You know, this could have been so easy. >> I answered everything. I've been telling you everything. >> You're answering everything. That's great. But everything's roundabout or a lie. >> It is not. >> Her identity couldn't be verified. And every lie she told only made things worse. But the police had no intention of giving up. They had already decided on their next move. We we we already looked for your ID in there. >> Like look, >> I don't know what you're trying to get out of this. You're under arrest. >> I get that. >> We need to identify you. That's it. You're not We're not about to be Okay, you know what? We're sorry. We inconvenience you. You guys are I understand what I did was wrong >> and that's why you're going to get booked today because they're going to take your fingerprints at jail and then they'll actually identify you. So, if you have any other warrants or anything like that, you can probably expect to sit there and serve that time for those warrants. If you have any felony warrants, what they'll do is they'll transport you to King County Jail and have you sit there. If you have any outer state warrants, they'll extradite you back to that state and you can serve your time there. >> No. >> Okay. That's that's just what I'm telling you is going to happen. >> Okay. But I don't have that. >> Okay. Then if then you don't have to worry about it, then you're just going to serve your time for today's incident. >> What is that? What is that much time? You guys, I have >> I I cannot tell you. It's on the It's on the court system. >> And if I have to get that what >> it's on the courts. So once once you go to jail, you're going to get you're going to have your hearing. The judge is going to determine all the facts whether to give you bail or no bail and then they'll go from there. >> In the end, she was charged with theft, refund fraud, and providing false identification. When you try to lie your way out, you only dig yourself deeper. The truth always catches up. And the more you run from it, the harder it hits. More reckless. These women believe they could buy their way out of trouble. >> What's the total together? Maybe >> uh it's about 900. 940. Oh, you guys are going to jail. You guys came here to steal at the same time. >> On June 13th, 2023, Florida police responded to a call from J C Penney reporting a mother and daughter caught stealing $3,000 worth of cosmetics and clothing. When officers arrived, both were already held inside the store's loss prevention office. You guys came with an empty purse >> like Halloween was in. >> Whose purse is this? >> Mine. >> Do you have a Florida license? >> I don't know. >> Are you here on vacation? >> When are you going back to Jamaica? I didn't buy them every time we >> Yeah, I know. I just want to say it. [snorts] >> Not right now. What's your date of birth? >> I or it's okay. >> Huh? >> That's what they took? >> Yes. Oh, >> what's the total together? >> Maybe. >> Uh, it's about 900 940. >> Oh, you guys are going to jail. >> Mrs. Brown, >> you're not answering the phone. Please don't ask me. >> Can you answer it, please? >> No. >> I have someone at my house for days to go to the side. >> That's not what happened. The mother seemed uninterested in resolving the situation, making matters even more difficult. Her responses gave little personal information punctuated by size. >> No, they're pressing charges. >> Who got the call? The PBS. Okay. >> You know, sometimes we get theirs. >> Yeah. own company. >> You never see it. >> Be easier for me if they let you go. >> I just ask them if I can just pay for it. [music] >> What is your phone number? >> Cameras in here. I don't know what you guys think. >> And you have I'm going to read you your rights before we proceed with any questions cuz didn't know the amount was so large. You have the right to remain silenced and no answer any questions. Understand that right? >> Yes. >> Any statements you make must be freely and voluntarily given. You have the right to the president of the representation of a lawyer of your choice before you make any statements and during any questioning. If you can for a lawyer, you are entitled to the representation to the presence and representation of a corporal lawyer before you make any statements and during any question. If at if at any time during the interview you do not wish to answer any questions, you are privileged to remain silent. I can make no threats or promises to induce you to make a statement. This must be on your own free will. Any statements can be and will be used against you in the court of law. >> How old are you, Mrs. Brown? I'm >> 21. >> And you? 21. Whose bad idea was this? Was it you, Mrs. Brown? >> Can I have that, please? >> The woman also wondered why their plan had been exposed. She tried to change something, but if only she had done it from the start, this outcome might have been avoided. >> Together with 25 people. Oh, >> it's the same crime. You guys came here to steal at the same time. It's not a separate line. Twice are here together. You took half. She took half. And when you add both halves, now you got a problem. Anything else? Can that come off? Can we just pay for this stuff? [clears throat] >> Like you said, it's not that easy. >> That was that was step number one, just to pay for it. >> To be thorough, the officers asked the woman additional questions, showing that the way these women educate their family truly needs to be reviewed. All right. You guys may never been arrested before, but let me tell you, I'm being extremely nice. I don't have to. >> So, we, you know, everything's on video. Whatever I'm asking, everything that you guys did is on video. >> Mhm. We drove the car outside. >> Um, are you guys okay with that? >> What's that? >> With the vehicle being outside? Can someone come over and pick it up? >> Uh, whose car is it? >> Just lock down cuz they'll be trespassed. >> Yeah, I know. Whose uh whose vehicle is it? >> It's my boyfriend's car. >> Okay. Uh, besides JC Penny, did you guys also went to a different store? >> No, >> you came directly here. >> No, we had suppers. No, not that. >> Did your chop lift at a different store here in >> just only on this place? >> Yeah. >> Are those like personal clothing or kids clothing or who was it closed for? For you guys or for myself. >> Okay. >> And the same with you? >> Yeah. >> Guess what? >> You got a daughter, too? >> Yeah. >> Their actions were clear and serious. The mother showed some remorse, but it was certain that she along with her family members would face the consequences of what they had caused. >> How long what time did you guys get here? >> We just got here maybe half an hour ago. >> You took all that in 30 minutes. >> I think we got here maybe after 3. [clears throat] Are you sorry for what you did? >> I am still sorry. >> Thank you for your honest to me, Mrs. Brown. How about you? >> Yeah, >> you guys got like no record. >> No, I don't. >> I thought you were BSing me. >> I thought I thought you were lying. But you messed up bigger than her cuz you're not from here. All right. So, I got my confession statement. I'm reading the right now. >> That's a statement. >> Yeah, that's a statement from here. >> You got Do you have their names? >> Yes. >> We'll give them to you. >> I got the names. >> Who's Anna? [music] N is the is the is the homeless. >> Nice. >> That's not the name. >> That's another name. >> Okay. >> Shane Williams. Was that? >> Yeah, that that's the other one. That's the name she gave. >> I'm sorry. >> Finally, the suspects were arrested and charged with felony grand theft. When criminals involve their family in theft, their actions are clearly serious. Even if some remorse appears, they must inevitably face the consequences of their own deeds. The next case, this pitiful woman, after committing her crime, tried to use sympathy to escape punishment. >> Come on, rest me. >> Stop. Turn around. >> I don't have nothing. I don't have anything. >> Turn around. [laughter] >> On November 17th, 2024, police received a report of a woman shoplifting Family Dollar. But it didn't stop there. She even brandished a firearm to threaten the staff. When officers approached, she pretended nothing had happened because there was nothing in her bag. >> But I gave her back to him. >> I was still in, but I gave it back to him. Why you arresting me? >> Stop. Turn around. >> I don't have nothing. I don't have anything. >> Turn around. >> I don't got nothing. >> Turn around. >> I don't have nothing. Why are you grabbing me? >> Turn around. >> Okay, but I don't have nothing. But why you grabbing me? I don't have nothing. Turn around and you'll be charged with arrest. >> I don't have nothing. You just grabbing me. >> He got it back. I never took nothing out the store. >> I never took nothing out the store. I'm not doing nothing but y'all grabbing me. >> I didn't even do nothing. You just grabbing me. >> Let go. >> You just was grabbing me for nothing. I'm in a rush FOR NOTHING. I DON'T GOT NOTHING IN MY PURSE. I DIDN'T TAKE anything or nothing. He kept trying to run up on me. Although she was told not to take anything else, she thought that since she had returned everything, she didn't deserve to be treated this way. >> You You have to understand we stepped out. >> Okay, babe. You ain't got to tell him nothing. >> You immediately said I was stealing. >> I know, but I Okay, but I gave it back to him. You feel me? >> How do we know that? >> I swear he took it. I It wasn't nothing but soap powder. >> So, we should just let you go after you commit a crime. >> I didn't do nothing. I don't want I just want to >> take your word that you undid the crime. >> Yeah, I listen how it works. >> Can I tell y'all this? I had soap powder. He called me with the salt powder. I gave it back to him >> and I left the store. That's I ain't say ain't nothing else. Ain't nothing in that ain't nothing else in that place. I ain't got to lie. Ain't nothing ain't nothing else. >> Go get my mom though. Go back to where I am cuz I ain't I ain't going to jail. I didn't do nothing. >> Like I ain't do [ __ ] Like damn. The way y'all was grabbing me, I'm trying to like you feel I understand what y'all told you under arrest. You do not pull away. I did, BUT THE WAY Y'ALL GRABBED ME, I'M LIKE, >> YOU WERE PULLING AWAY. >> I'm sorry. I apologize. >> Yes. For future reference, if you are told you're under arrest, stop it. >> But the investigation revealed that the woman's wrongdoing didn't stop there. Her vehicle registration had expired. This made her increasingly fearful of the consequences and finally realize her guilt. >> No. If it leave the >> I'm sorry. >> No, I'm saying. >> Yes. Can you hold on just one moment? >> I'm confused on what you're saying. He said the tag expired, but don't ask him expired. >> Tags are expired. >> You guys need to go get licensed for this. He >> It's only been expired for a week. >> It doesn't matter with the temp tag the day >> one day expired. >> Okay, I know y'all. I did some dumb, but we ain't got to be like, you feel me? We ain't got to be like that. >> You guys can't drive that vehicle. >> Okay, I'm going to get the license driver whose vehicle it is. >> You can't drive. >> Yeah, bring the owner here so I can give him a ticket for letting her drive without a license. >> I'm sorry, ma'am. Just one second or I'll have Let's get her in the car. >> Why do I got to get in the car? I'm going to jail. >> Okay, >> you're under arrest at this point. Anybody figure out if they want a fresh charge or not? >> And she's got warrants. >> Although she felt remorse, her actions only made things harder for the police and her pleas for sympathy were attempts to change the outcome. >> Can you face the cruiser? >> No, I do got a daughter. I know it was wrong for that. And I'm not trying to give y'all no, >> you know. >> So far, you've been very uncooperative. Can you face the cruiser? >> Because I ain't been in jail in a long time. >> That's that's why. Mr. Cruiser, cooperate with us and we'll see what we're going to do. >> Thank you. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Sorry, I was about to >> I don't like I I got a daughter and I Listen, I I know I don't want to go to jail. >> Cooperate with us. We'll >> figure I don't want to go to jail. >> Let's just take it one step at a time. They're figuring out what's going on. I just arrived on scene. >> Look, I just want to just if I get a ticket, like I just want to go home to my daughter. >> Listen, just be cooperative and we'll figure it out. Okay. >> All right. So, just >> I know I know what I was I know I was wrong for that. I knew I was. Okay. Well, >> he's running with something means you got to pay consequences. >> Uh, I'm sure they have video in there, but no audio. >> I'm really going to jail. >> I'm going to read you this, Mr. Walker. You're >> going to jail. >> Is that who you are? >> Well, I'm going to jail. >> I know, but what what did I >> I'm going to read I'm going to read this to you. All right. >> I got a daughter that's having >> Miss Walker. Miss Walker, >> you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand that? Right. >> When I'm getting arrested for it >> at the very minimum, theft, >> I will pay for it. I'm going get past that thing in my pocket to go home on my daughter. >> I'm sorry. I don't want to. >> Okay, I'm going to read this to you cuz I'm going to I have some questions for you. Okay, we're going to have a conversation. >> Her pleas certainly didn't help her escape punishment. They only made everything more complicated. >> I got a daughter. I did not want you. >> So, this >> I please I would do anything. Er, then let's get through this. >> I can get a ticket, please. I can't do my not food. What was I thinking again? I just wanted to wash my clothes and knew I had money. Like, >> can we get through this or not? >> Please, can I get a chance? >> Can you answer his question? Please stop with the the fake crime. >> I'm not because I ain't been in jail in a long time. >> Let him read you this and you want to go home and all this crap, but you're not letting us do what we have to do. >> Okay. Having these all these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what happened today? >> Nothing. I don't know what I was thinking. I Something was already winning. I went in there and grabbed some ties, some some soap powder. I didn't know he was going to see me. I ain't going to lie. I didn't know he was going to see me. And when he seen me, he said, "Can I have my ties back?" I said, "Yeah, you can have your ties back cuz I got money in me." And I that's when I walked out the I gave him my stuff and that's when I just he said, "Get out my store." And that was it. But when asked about threatening the employee, she insisted it was impossible, claiming she couldn't do such a thing. Yet the statements from the employee told a very different story. >> Threaten them with a gun or say you had a gun or you >> already beating on somebody. I ain't threatening him with nothing. >> I'm telling you the honest truth. I know why she never took no toss. I know I should have paid for he asked for her back and I gave them to him. I got a whole daughter that's waiting for me right now. I ain't about to threaten him with no damn >> So why are you out here? If you got money, why you out here stealing time? >> Because I thought I was I should never been doing that. >> I ain't got no gun. I ain't about to do that. I ain't been in trouble in a long time. I know it was done for me even want to steal no goddamn P them ties whatever they is and I got money. >> I ain't about to do that. I ain't about to risk my life for trying to shoot a man for some damn and that's the truth. I'm not as I ever did that. Just want to go home to my daughter. Who was the other person you were with? >> I thought it was my sister. I told her to go get my mom. >> Where's mom stay at? >> She stay up with her own self press. >> Is that where daughter's at? Where's daughter at? >> With my auntie them. They at the competition. >> Yeah, it just they're they're just saying that they told us that you threatened them with a gun. Not that you pulled one out. That you said you had one and you pulled out and pulled it to his head. >> I ain't about to hell. That's why we we weren't here, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. We just happened to be across the bank when it started to come in and I can see him waving his flag. So, we had no knowledge of any of that. >> But you know what I mean? >> I just want to go to my daughter and that's it. >> So, all right. Well, we got some things to figure out, okay? And then we'll let you know what's going to happen. Okay. >> The woman still tried to draw pity, but those tears were hers alone. Her statements only defended herself and did nothing to resolve the case. [laughter] Okay. So, you know the only other option to this if you don't want your child staying with your aunt, I'm going to take custody of your child and CSP is going to have to come. Correct. >> Why? Why? >> Because you are being arrested. >> Why? What is going to jail for? >> Why can't I get a ticket? >> Because I'm tired of people doing this and everyone's begging for a ticket. >> All these people that that steal and shoplift, they do this. They get they sometimes they don't get caught and then they do it again somewhere else and then the times they get caught then they give this side story about >> I'm not giving I'm not giving no s story but I just don't understand I really got to go sit in an economy for this I know it was wrong I ain't going to lie ain't saying it went wrong but damn y it's better it's better else stuff >> you're owning up because you got caught >> I never got Listen I'm not owning up to it >> I'm owning up to why would a man tell me to give me his stuff and then when I walk out the store he want to act like I I was about to him or do some weird stuff >> I thought I could get away with it. So, you're telling me >> But you asking me a question. I'm not going to lie to you >> because you got caught. I'm telling you if if you didn't get caught today, you're telling me I'm going to receive a call from you at your house saying, "Hey, I want to own up to to me stealing today." I would have got that call today. >> What? You I'm not good. >> You didn't get caught right now, right? You made it home. You're telling me you're going to sit on your couch later. >> No, but I feel bad. >> But why would I call Listen, >> because that's what I'm saying. You're only owning up to it because you got caught. But for real to send me to the county for this and I could understand if I hit the man, disrespect the man, call the man hoes. >> Cuz I didn't understand why y'all grabbed me like that. >> You literally said you knew that you were stealing. >> But I didn't I didn't know they was going to grab me the way they grabbed me. I didn't know they was about to do this to me. Not over no ties. I didn't know that people get shot. I didn't know that. I was SCARED THE WAY Y'ALL GRABBED ME, Y'ALL. MAN, I didn't know that. >> Keep saying people get shot. But guess what would happen to prevent us from having to do that and putting our lives in danger to get in that situation. Just don't break the law. >> The woman was arrested and charged with armed theft and threatening behavior at Family Dollar. Trying to manipulate sympathy and deny responsibility never works. Her attempts only complicated the investigation and ensured she faced consequences. It's a clear reminder that deceit and ignoring the law will catch up with you. Next, this deceitful woman still refused to be honest, even when her plan fell apart. >> I don't even know what it would be other than like a fraud type deal. >> All right. Your friend you don't know the last name of. >> No, I'm sorry. >> Man, you're a bad liar. >> On January 11th, 2024, police officers received a report from a Verizon wireless store about a fraudulent purchase involving a woman. When officers approached, she claimed she knew nothing. Let's see how the police figured out what really happened. >> Calling out here for like a problem with your account or something like that. Are are you Is it your account that you're trying to open up a phone under or you trying to open up on something? >> No, I already have an account. >> Okay. >> But why am I getting called on? >> So, it it's something to do with the the phone being under somebody else's account that you're opening up and it's like a 20-year-old account. Do you have your ID on you? >> No. What they talking about? >> So, who whose whose name is the account under? >> Mine. >> It's under your name? >> Yes. And this is my phone that the call got set to. I'm not. They just activated him. She said, "Put him on speaker." He put on speaker. I told him, "I'll come back tomorrow cuz they're going to close." >> Okay. >> That's my only problem. This is my phone. I didn't call in or anything. >> They said allow. I clicked allow. I've been had the service for a long time. >> Okay. Same phone number and everything. >> Yes. >> Okay. How long have you had Verizon as your carrier? >> Like 2 years. >> Two years. Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> Yes. It's in Let me get out. >> Or you're good. You don't have to go out there. I'll just take your name. The officers immediately stopped her from going outside, suspecting the person waiting there was her accomplice. And things turned even more suspicious when she desperately tried to hide that person's identity. >> Okay. What's your last name? >> Tor. What's his name? >> Um, John, I don't know. He's my I just met him. He was an old friend. >> Okay. Look, I just came into town for New Year's. I've been here since New Year. I'm going to go home. cuz I'm just had to get I was getting my rand. >> Okay. Where's your ID out of there? >> In the pond. >> Where at? >> Um probably that cup holder. >> She has to check the cup holder. >> You have a picture of your ID? >> No. Oh, let me look. >> Do you have anything on your account that helps? Cuz I'm not getting anything back for that name. Okay. >> I'm going be honest with you. You don't look like you were born in ' 89. I mean, I'm happy everybody said it, but Oh, I don't understand. Okay. >> Didn't you Did you give them ID? >> No, I gave him my phone number and he sent the code to my phone. I literally didn't even make it far. >> I just made it to >> right now. And then I got on the phone with the credit line. She has a hold on my account. So, after she sent the code to my phone, she sent the code. I allowed it. >> Then that was it. >> She hid the person outside and even hesitated with her own details. It got shadier when she kept checking her phone as if she was contacting her partner outside. >> Okay. What's your social? >> What's up with my social? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I'm not getting a return on your name. >> Um >> so I need my social. >> Yeah. I'm not going to do anything with it, but I'm going to try to confirm your identity. >> How long have you lived at? >> Um like two years. >> Two years. Mhm. >> Okay. Does anybody live there with you? >> I live with someone. >> Who Who do you live with? Um my sister's sister. So >> what's her name? >> Um I left >> without looking at your phone or something now. >> Do you have like a credit card or debit card? >> No. >> You don't have any credit card or debit card? >> No, I left my actually I left my cuz this purse is so small. I have like a little wallet. Well, the wallet is kind of big and the story is I literally left my wallet at home. I'm like damn I don't have my wallet on me. >> So how did you open the phone line? >> Cuz I already had service. So they sent the code to my phone. That's what I'm saying. This is this was my issue. Like literally when he sent the code, it just said allow or deny. I allowed access to the my account. >> Okay. >> And that was the entire story she tried to sell. A version clearly patched together. But moments later, officers uncovered the truth and her little scam finally came to light. >> The only problem that I have is none of the story kind of makes sense. This is what's going on. Okay. Cuz he's providing a totally different name. >> I was just going to say I hire. I just met him. Okay. >> So, we like having to bring you to the store and stuff. >> Yeah, cuz I lost my car. My car is down. >> All right. >> So, I got to get around. It's cold outside. >> Uber is so I asked him to keep driving me around. >> All right. You good? >> I'm okay. Just hang out with her for one sec. I'll be right back. Did you you heard that she gave a fake name, obviously, cuz then their [ __ ] added up. So, he's got her real name. Um, I'm going have to talk with staff and see if there's like any money or anything like that's associated with this one female that >> like a theft. You thinking? >> Yeah. I don't know. I mean, I don't even know what it would be other than like a fraud type deal, but I need to figure out if there's like been any money. So, so they were So, they were at Apple here and Woodfield and then Deer Park like hours apart today. 350. What names are on the receipts? >> It it doesn't say. It's just like they bought they the price here is the same thing that they're trying to do here. >> They're trying to get phones. >> Yeah. And then they sell them. >> But I'm not so sure that this vehicle >> like doesn't have fake on. >> Did you check the VIN? >> No, not yet. So he's saying that the vehicle comes back to his mom. But >> a fake name, a patched up story, and a card that didn't belong to her. All enough to charge her. And according to the officers, this was surely not her first time. >> Okay, you're under arrest. Go and pop it for me. >> I'm under arrest for >> attempted theft over. >> About your name. >> And learn about your name. >> Just put your phone down here. >> Take your purse off. All right. Pipe your hand behind your back. >> So my assumption is that there was more stuff down up north. Okay. >> North. >> Yeah. Where the other receipts are out of. So if that's the case, I'm sure that they're going to have cases on you as well. >> If there's other accounts and stuff that you've >> Okay. >> Is this your phone, too? Okay. >> Wow. >> And you can't explain to me what you're doing and how you're doing it. So, I'm just going to assume like worst case scenario, right? The phone that you said is yours. This one, the 15, and this 10 that was in your back pocket, you said is yours, which was purchased today at Apple in Chicago, right? So, you see like how none of this makes sense. It makes sense, but we're not getting the full story, right? >> The woman was given a chance to be honest, but lies continued to pour out. She didn't even know her friend's name, yet still trusted them with her house keys. >> He wants your mom's number. Do you want him to have your house keys? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's your relationship with him? >> My friend. >> No, for real. You can't stand it. Yeah. >> You guys live together? >> No. >> All right. Your friend you don't know the last name of? >> No. Man, you're a bad liar. >> So, whose phone is this? Is this your phone? >> He just run in. >> Hey, will you ask him if this is his phone? >> You want to work or talk? >> Huh? >> You want to talk to the detective? >> Talk to the detective. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Like um >> about this >> a lawyer? >> No, detective. Y'all got to help out. >> You want to try to help yourself out at all? Well, basically what we're going to do is we where we're at, I think you have committed identity theft, theft, fraud, possibly forgery, and then whatever happened here today. >> So, if we talk to a detective, we can explain things. Finally, the woman was charged with forgery, possession of a fraudulent ID, obstructing identification, and attempted felony theft. Fraud with fake identities never goes unnoticed. Hesitation and lies make it easy for authorities to catch you, and blindly trusting friends can be dangerous. What do you think about cases like this? Even the store manager was stunned. Here's what happened next. >> Hello. So, can I speak to you? >> Yeah. >> Perfect. You have somewhere in private. >> Let me call you back. All right. >> We can step out front if that's okay. >> Uh, do you have a separate office or anything like that or is this just >> Okay. Can we go stop here? Okay. I'm officer Torres Police Department. Okay. This is Officer Johnson. Okay. We're over here investig investigating a theft. Okay. Um, so before I ask any questions or anything, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. >> Okay. Officers immediately read her Miranda rights, leaving the employee momentarily stunned, but she quickly regained her composure when they brought up an unusual transaction she had handled earlier. >> Um, she said that she came in here for a phone problem, saying that she cannot download any apps. >> Okay. Um, she said that you um told her that she has to get a brand new phone cuz I guess you can't put a SIM card in or some type of card to help her have more storage. >> So, she said that she gave her your phone. she stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and that you went through her phone, went on cash app, and sent her $400. >> Her phone is right there. She did a If that's the customer I'm thinking she talking about, she did a trade in. >> Yes. But I'm talking about you going through her phone on her cash app to send you $400. >> No, I didn't do that. >> Okay. Well, um, do you have the picture? >> Yeah. >> It's honestly just good to come clean. Okay. No, there's no need to lie. I got all the probable cause and evidence to prove otherwise. >> So, this is what she's showing us that was on her phone from her cash app. All right. Would you agree? Um, I'm saying >> yeah, that's me. >> That's you. Okay. >> All right. Confirming >> this is what was sent from her phone to your cash app. >> And it shows my cash app. >> All right. And it shows right here, >> Plet Hills, which is our victim. Payment received. >> All right. >> And I didn't receive it. >> You did it. There's $400 that went to your bank account on cash up. $466. Okay. >> At first, the suspect, Kayla, claimed she knew nothing. But when officers showed evidence, including a screenshot of a $400 transfer to her own account, her expression changed instantly. I didn't even see that come in. >> You're the one that did it. So, I I just >> I didn't You can watch our C. We have cameras in here. >> This is your MO. I already looked up your your jail history. Okay. You've been arrested for I mean, you can tell me. Roger. Use credit card, identity theft, all the above. Okay. Opable causes. That's exactly what you just did. Okay. I'm going to go contact my supervisor and we'll go from here. Okay. Are you the manager? >> Yes. >> Okay. Perfect. I I'll talk I'll talk to you on here. I'm not sure if you already heard of our conversation or not. Okay. Her name's Kayla, right? Kayla. Okay. So, we're here investigating a theft that occurred. Okay. From So, the complainant called in. Okay. Seeing that she went to the store for a phone problem. I guess there was no um amount of storage on her phone to download apps that she wanted or she needed help downloading apps. She told her that she needs a whole new phone to do so. And I guess there's I'm not exactly what the policy is or how phones work, but she said she needs to go home the phone. She's like, "Okay, no problem. No problem." Um I guess the complainant gave Kayla her phone. She came out here to smoke a cigarette, the complainant, and while doing so, Kayla went on her phone, went on her cash app, and sent her $400. Actually, more than that. Despite Kayla's continued denial of the fraud, the male officer spoke directly with the store manager. And what they revealed about her criminal record left the manager in disbelief. >> Do you know when this took place? >> When? Um, it happened today. Cash App's time is weird. It said 9:18 p.m. Obviously, it's 7:21, but she gave us the address. Um, we we confirmed she showed us a screenshot of the cash app. We looked her up on LCSO um website and this is her MO. Fraudulent lease with a credit card. Um identity theft, so on so forth. >> Is she getting arrested? >> Yes. >> Right now. >> All righty. I'll be right back. >> Okay. >> That's my That's my district management in my house. >> Yes. Yes. >> She's been here all day. She wasn't even here when the lady came. We was all in the front. She was standing. When she pulled up the camera, she was standing right there. We got a store full of customers. Okay. Well, I'm not sure who else would go through her phone besides you. >> Me and her both were. I'm not saying she didn't, but we were both doing her devices. We both helped the lady. >> Okay. Um, are you willing to send the complainant back, the victim back her money? >> Yes. >> All right. Let's go ahead and do that. But I want to see make sure you're sending >> Yeah, I'm trying to see where it came from. S P T I L. What is that? Two L's. Cornered by solid evidence, Kayla finally gave back the money she rewarded herself with. Yet, her half-hearted remorse made the moment even more embarrassing. >> Hey, you can just get m Yeah. >> Hello, >> Mom. My car is in the back. >> Okay. But um so so what what happened? The lady say I cash that myself, but me, my boss, and we we had a store full of customers. We were standing, she was standing right there the entire time. >> So, okay. But if ain't no proof you you cashed out yourself, her money. >> That's That's what she said when all I was doing was setting up her devices. >> Okay. But wait a minute. So, if do you did it show that you cashed out yourself? >> Yeah, it was on my cash app. >> Okay. Well, then you did that? >> No, I did not. >> All right. Kayla don't even >> Even with the cuffs on and evidence stacked against her, Kayla called her mom claiming she was innocent. Forcing officers to reveal the truth. >> Yes. >> Hello, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Your daughter's going to be arrested for theft. Okay. Um I mean it it just I know I'm sure you understand it just what she's telling makes no sense. Uh she went through the victim's phone, went onto her cash app, and sent herself $400. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Okay. Um, but I guess she tried $500 after that, but it that's when the bank declined that cuz they thought something something was fishy. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, um, but she did send the money back to the victim. Okay. But the victim was very, you know, she she said if the suspect was apprehended, then she wants them to go to jail. >> Okay. Kayla was officially arrested and charged with scheme to defraud, a felony offense for using deception to steal money through electronic means. She was booked into jail and now faces up to 5 years in prison and thousands in fines. Greed might promise quick rewards, but it always ends the same way with shame, handcuffs, and a lifetime reminder that easy money never lasts. Next, watch how a 7-Eleven turns into a crazy circus stage in just one night. What about roll over? >> On August 25th, 2023, police quickly responded to a report from a 7-Eleven in Moran County where a former employee nicknamed Marijuana Aisha returned, stole items, and acted like he owned the register, turning the scene into pure chaos. who >> pink shirt. >> She has to also behave between so she had behind the counter stealing stuff. >> She has no secrets. >> Okay. So, and I asked him to give them to me and he rejected it. So, why am I >> everything out of your pockets on the counter? >> Give me an explanation. >> Aisha. >> When officers arrived, they found Aisha arguing stubbornly, refusing to put the items down as ordered. Her defiance making the atmosphere grow increasingly tense. >> Our situation, >> what would you like to be called? >> I would like to be called me. >> Me? Okay, let's go out to my car, please. I really don't want to take you to the ground in this store. >> Okay, let's go. >> Come on. Let's go. >> Drop the pot on the ground. >> Put the pot on the ground. >> Here. >> Put the pot on the ground. Give me >> I will punch you in the face. >> If you punch me in the face, you will get tased. Put the pot on the ground. Put the pot on the ground. I am not playing with you. >> I know this. >> I am not playing games with you. Give me the pot. You're about to get taged if you don't stop. >> I suggest you just call the cops. >> Would you stop? >> I suggest you just call other cops. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Why are you doing this? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Why? >> Are you sure you're about to get tased? >> You told me I wasn't being arrested in there. >> You're about to get tased. >> You told me I was being right now in there. >> Give me the pot. >> You told me I wasn't being arrested in there. >> Keep it clear. >> Why are you threatening to tase me? >> Back up right now. >> I need an answer. >> Everything out of your pockets. You told me I wasn't being tased. >> Clearly, before being escorted out, she was caught with a bag full of stolen items, clutching a potted plant like treasure and even threatened to attack an officer. Arrogance fit for a self-proclaimed queen of 711. >> Hey, you told me I wasn't being arrested. Why are you threatening to tase me? >> Get down the ground right now. >> 61. I got one a taser. She's not cooperating. She's sick. >> Don't taser her. She's sick. >> Put Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Turn around. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back right now. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. You're going to get tased. >> Sir, >> turn around. You're going to get tased. >> Either you can work on me or you're going to get tased. >> Yeah. >> Are you going to work with me or not? >> I'm working with you, >> Aisha. The suspect showed no fear, defying every warning. With eyes locked and body tensed as if ready to strike, tension exploded. Officers had no choice but to move in. >> I'm not playing games with you. >> Because you're not listening to what I'm telling you to do. >> Why are you threatening? >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Aisha, listen. Aisha. AISHA. 62. >> Cut it out now. >> Roll over. Sir, you might I said she'll fight me once. You might have to tase her. >> She's fighting. >> Aisha, cut it out now. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> I will turn around. >> I'll turn around now. >> 66 20 Aisha, back up now. >> Back up. [laughter] >> One time. And you got some water in her eyes AT LEAST BEFORE YOU DIE OFF. >> UNBELIEVABLE. She seemed bulletproof, completely immune to both taser and pepper spray. The one-on-one struggle had officers powerless, forced to call backup. Luckily, she finally gave in or they'd still be wrestling her. >> Police in trouble with police brutality and all type of stuff. >> I gave her so many chances. >> You at least gave us my shoulders. >> Get in car now. >> Your shoulders what? MY SHOULDERS ARE HURTING ME. >> Get in the car. Put the handcuffs in front of me. >> Get in the car now. MY SHOULDERS ARE HURTING. >> I DON'T CARE. She had every opportunity to do what I told her to do. Get in the car. In the car now. >> Can you put the handcuffs in front of me? >> NO, I CANNOT HURTING ME. >> Get in the car. >> The drama didn't end there. Aisha was finally arrested after repeated defiance. But her aunt kept blaming officers for brutality and spouting religious ramblings, leaving officers shaking their heads. >> Get in the car now. >> In Jesus name. In Jesus name. In Jesus name. In Jesus name. >> Can you stop? Please. Please. >> She need help. >> Well then she should have listened to me. >> I gave her every option I could to >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> What's going on? >> Ma'am, come here. You have pepper spray all over you. >> You have pepper spray all over you. >> You do what? >> You have pepper spray all over you. >> Holy Spirit will cover me. If I just take >> The Holy Spirit will cover me. >> Jesus is not going to take the pepper spray off. He'll take it away. He's my savior. >> I get that. >> The truth only emerged later when they returned to the store for staff statements. >> I called her, told her what was happening. She called auntie. So the hunchie comes like 10 minutes later. She try to get get her under control. >> At what point did she come behind the counter? So she runs back here and grabs cigarettes. How many does she grab? >> She grabbed these, two of these, and one of these. And then there was a pack right here. So four total. >> Yeah, four total. She goes back from a pack of cigarettes. walks back there and lights lights it on the grill. She put a cigarette on the grill. >> Yeah, it's a lit. And I was like, "Yo, you got to stop." >> Everyone confirmed she used to work there. Aisha walked in like she still owned the place, singing and spreading items everywhere, then grabbed four packs of cigarettes and lit one on the grill. A smoke and fire spectacle no one expected. >> CALL YOUR MOM and call anybody. I said to stop now. I'm over here trying to fight. >> Get your hands off of her. >> He's over here trying to fight and argue with me and my daughter. >> Don't escalate. Please don't escalate it. Don't escalate it. Don't. Please. In Jesus name. >> GO IN YOUR CAR. >> Y >> because now people are here you need to respect. You're the man. Yeah. What's the problem? Outside the store, the suspect's relatives argued and shouted, turning the scene into a midnight Florida flea market, where chaos seemed to be the local specialty. >> I don't get THE RIGHT TO HAVE [ __ ] COUNTER. >> OKAY. Assistant manager. Why she so mad? Because he mad cuz we all together. Don't call him sleep. No, that's >> I already called Conniey's name. I already called her earlier. She said she was going to sleep. So I was like, "Nobody me." And then went ahead and called her and then she knows why Stephanie mad cuz Stephanie your manager. She's here. That's just like >> Have you What have you been diagnosed with? Do you know? I was diagnosed with um >> that's that's the only thing. >> That's what I was diagnosed with. Also telling me to go see a psychologist. >> Okay. >> Um I haven't been able to find one because I guess my insurance doesn't cover the one that I went to go see. I have to pay for that out of pocket. But >> So you haven't done that yet? >> I haven't gotten a job. Um, >> in the end, Aisha was charged with theft, petty theft from the counter, and resisting law enforcement. She faced the consequences of her reckless actions under the law. No matter any illness or condition, breaking it carries consequences, and excuses will not shield anyone from being held fully responsible. And if you want to see how greed destroyed a life, just look at this woman. >> She paid herself a total of 17,000 more than what she should have. Oh my gosh, please. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm going to be Oh my god. >> On May 15th, 2024, police rushed to the CGFS center after reports of payroll fraud where a trusted accountant allegedly created fake checks and leave records. Here's what happened next. >> So, she paid herself a total of 17,000 more than what she should have. Um, and then this is our fringe and tax liability portion of that. So, it cost us 1,500 bucks on top of that. So, we're looking at 195 in total. And then she has some um company owned assets at home. The total one was 990 of monitors and type of stuff. >> So, she works from home. >> Um, occasionally. >> Occasionally she would. >> Is she currently there or currently here? Oh, she has been terminated. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, she's aware this is going in, >> correct? Well, she's been terminated. >> She's aware. She's aware that we know. Yes. >> Um I don't think she knows. We're getting you guys involved. >> Um so, that's a total amount. >> She has really so far not been cooperating. We had scheduled a meeting with her for yesterday afternoon to officially in in person give her the termination. Uh we were going to try to see if we could get her to sign an authorization form to allow us to uh withhold her payroll check which is due this Friday as partial restitution and we've been working with our employment lawyer. Uh he had developed a a cognitive promisory note to see if we could get her to sign that to make restitution. Um we were going to present that with her yesterday. She ghosted us. In summary, the woman embezzled a total of $119,500 including taxes and even kept $1,000 worth of company equipment. Immediately after the investigation, the police tracked her down and arrested her. >> Hi, Heather. >> Hi. >> I'm Officer Sam police. You know what's going on today? >> I I have some idea. I didn't like this. >> Okay. What do you think's going on? >> It was from payroll. So now >> so I'm going to read you your rights and I'll give you the option to talk to me when you're not talking to me. Make any statements if you don't want to. Then we'll send you on your way. If not, we'll discuss what's going on. Okay. >> All right. So what's going on? >> I don't know what I'm charged with. I don't know what they're saying I did. >> Well, what do you think? I'll tell you exactly what I have, but tell me in your mind what you think's going on. >> I paid myself out hours, the vacation hours last year, and they just and then there I didn't a payroll that reversed and that's then then they figured everything out. >> Although she claimed she knew nothing, the moment she gave her statement, she immediately mentioned the vacation hours, proving she clearly knew what was going on. Even so, the officer still explained everything to her. >> Okay, I'll explain everything that's going on. So, right now, what we have is going to be 10 charges. All right. Um, one is tampering with records. How did I Okay, because it's through the payroll computer software and it's an official document registered to go through taxes and stuff like that. So, it's going to be that's just how it's written up. All right, that's going to be the highest level charges of felony three. All right, there's going is going to be then there's nine payroll charges you that were done you did, but there were nine payroll charges done over since um October 6th or something, right? Um, and any of I think division of four or five, I can't remember which one's which, but anything over $1,000 is a felony five. Anything under $1,000 was um minor misdemeanor one or misdemeanor one. All right. So, I think I know they're split four and five. Can't remember which way is which. Um I know they're all real close to a thousand except for the last one [clears throat] which is pretty big. Um other than that, so they called me today, find out what's going on and talking with them. this is what they um chose to do. Um so that's why we're here. So >> her face showed no sign of guilt while the officers explained the situation. It was only when she learned her fate that she finally realized the gravity of it all. >> Well, this is going to happen today. >> You'll be to what's going to happen today is once we're done um this officer here is going to drive to the county. You'll be booked into the county. All right? And then the next day or two, today's Wednesday. The next day or two, you'll be sent in front of the judge. All right. >> I'm staying in jail for the next 2 days. >> The next day or two. So, you could be arraigned in the morning. >> I'm staying the night in jail >> tonight. Yes, you will. >> They told me when they picked me up that I wasn't. >> That's what's going to happen. That's not uh their call. That's not >> Yeah. Okay. So, you're going to >> Oh my god. Oh my gosh. Please. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm going to be Oh my god. >> So, what happens from here? It's going to be up at a time frame of the county and the judge gets assigned. >> All right. Oh my god. Do you have anything else to say? Any questions? Anything help answer for you? Think you broke anything, damn anything, and vice versa. Okay. >> Why do I have to stay in jail for something like this? I didn't hurt someone. I mean, this is crazy. I've never been in trouble in my entire life. Why do I have to spend the night in jail for this? I won't do I will come back. I promise. >> I know. But this is like crazy. >> I'm sorry. You feel that way? Like I like I've never done any anything. I don't Oh my god. >> All right, Heather, unless we have anything further and we'll get you going. Okay. Watch your knees. >> As a result, she was charged with four counts of misdemeanor theft, five counts of grand theft, felony, and one count of tampering with records. This case reminded us trying to hide fraud is quickly exposed, and even subtle awareness of wrongdoing leads to inevitable legal consequences. Next, watch this pregnant marathoner show off her while getting caught red-handed by the police. >> Stop reaching. >> Stop reaching. Get out of the car. >> Grab me. I'm scared. I'm 7 months pregnant. >> On August 18th, 2025 in Palm Coast, Florida, police responded to a theft at a local smoke shop. The suspect fled in a silver Mazda, sparking a chase and an immediate order to stop. Here's what happened next. >> She has a felony warrant out of Vermont. It's violation of probation reference, I believe, robbery. >> Hey, out of the car. >> Out of the car. >> I'm coming. >> Put it in park. >> I am. I'm coming. >> Put in park. Step out. >> I will. Just a second. Please >> stop reaching. >> Stop reaching. Get out of the car. >> Don't grab me. I'm scared. >> Okay. Get out of the car. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Please. I need to tell my partner. >> Stop. Stop. No. Put your hands behind your back. Stop. Stop. You're going to get tased. Do you want to get tased? >> No, you don't need to do that. I want >> No, you're not listening. Put your hands behind your back and keep them there. >> I will listen. I Please don't put cops on me. Please don't put >> Stop. >> Sir, please >> stop. >> The car's on and >> I know it is. Julia 35 or female detective. >> I'm 7 months pregnant. >> Okay. Well, well, you need to start listening then. >> Police ordered her out, but Taylor claimed to be 7 months pregnant to avoid arrest. When restrained, she cried, begged, and still fought back defiantly. >> Okay, this isn't your first time dealing with the police. >> What do you mean? >> What do I mean, Taylor? >> I haven't dealt with the police. >> Taylor, really? >> I just got to Vermont. I don't know anything. >> You just got to Vermont. You're in Florida. >> I know. I mean, I'm from Vermont. >> Yeah. Yeah. You You haven't dealt with the police in Vermont? >> Not in years. >> Not in years since you were a kid. >> Yeah, since I was like 19. Are you going to take me somewhere? >> Taylor, you have a warrant for your arrest. What do you mean? >> You have you have a warrant for your arrest out of Vermont. >> So, you have to take me somewhere? >> Yeah. Soon as they confirmed a warrant, you're going to be taken somewhere. Yeah. You got to go to jail. >> Why? >> Why? Because you got a warrant out of Vermont. >> My baby's coming. >> Okay. Keep keep your hands where they're at. Okay. >> Can I take my meds first? >> No. We'll take them with us. I can't give you meds right now. The car your butt. Yeah. >> I'm going to be sick. I don't understand. >> Why are you going to be sick? >> Cuz I need to take my meds. >> Okay. What's What's your meds for? >> I'm addicted to something. They're in the car. >> Okay. >> He doesn't want to be sick. I have water. Can I please just take them? >> What? Calm down. First of all, okay. Okay. If you're going to be sick, I can call paramedics here. >> Though she played weak, Taylor's criminal past soon surfaced. Robbery, assault, probation violation, and a warrant from Vermont. But as she was escorted to the car, she made a foolish move that added even more charges. >> I need to tell my boyfriend I'm leaving that I'm getting taken. We >> We'll take care of that. It's unfortunate. Now you're going for escape. >> No, please. I'm too scared. Ow. My wrist. My >> Okay, then. Then you shouldn't have ran. >> I'm sorry. I'm scared. Ow. Ow. >> She just took off on me. >> I'm sorry. I'm just scared. I'm sorry. >> Another charge. >> Yep. >> I'm just I'm pregnant and I'm scared. >> Okay. Well, now you just got more charges. All your warranties. >> I'm just pregnant and scared. I'm sorry. 7 months. We're 6 months. Sorry. >> 6 months pregnant. >> Did she fall or anything? >> Huh? >> Did she fall or anything like that? >> No. >> I'm sorry. I'm just scared. >> Why'd you run? You're 7 months pregnant. Did you run to the police? >> I know. I'm just so scared. >> Moments later, her boyfriend stepped out, acting indifferent, even denying he knew Taylor, leaving her alone, surrounded by police. It's >> not your key. You said that's not your key. I'm the sergeant. I'm the sergeant. You said this isn't your car. We want to get the keys to the >> This isn't your car. The car belongs in this driveway. How do you know that? >> How do I know that? >> How do you know that key belongs to a car in the driveway? >> Because we just arrested the girl that was in it. Who was your girlfriend? >> That's not my girlfriend. >> Taylor's not not your girlfriend. >> I have no idea who Who is that? >> Finally, Taylor Crowning Shield was charged with theft, resisting arrest, attempting to flee, and violating a federal warrant. Her excuses and tears couldn't save her from facing the full weight of the
