We're out at the portland police bureau property evidence division loading up some bikes for the bybee lake hope center i had a conversation with former mayor and police chief tom potter at the end of last year and he was telling me about the program and i spent some time visiting them at the end of december my wife and i went out did a tour spoke to their director and there was a need for bicycles to help some of their folks get to and from work and i thought of the property evidence division and some of the opportunities we have to provide bikes to programs that need them i think it's just an example of where we as an organization can can utilize some of our resources and our partnerships to help other people that are doing good work in the community and i think this is just an opportunity for us to uh to give and help out and support them in their work i thought well there'd be some kind of run down bikes but there's some really beautiful bicycles here everything is great there's some stuff for the children there's some stuff for uh smaller people large people you know tall people whatever it's just a great donation and this is going to change a lot of people's lives that they need that and need to get around look for work just get out and see the community.
