You want to let me >> I'll be able to 65 in progress. >> So you know what you're doing, right? Like you saying you go in here and take this first shot of some sorts tolerated obviously. >> Yes. >> You guys told me you came with Suzanne. You are a liar. >> No, I mean >> you are Well, that's a liar. That's what a liar would say. A shopping cart full of unpaid merchandise was [music] calmly pushed out as the shoplifter thought pretending to be innocent was clever. But once the officer [music] showed up, that supposed cleverness turned out to be one of the dumbest things they had ever done. There are the moments when dumb shoplifterss [music] get caught stealing full cart from Walmart. Let's start with the woman who was accused of stealing from three stores in a single morning. But then I'll say that there are other parties involved. This is I think I mean it's supposed to be a support. There's some items from Home Depot and some items from Target that are Walmart. >> If this image looks familiar to you, it is because this Asian woman was arrested for petty theft on the 15th of May 2025. She had a confusing explanation about her strange pickup system. But it turned out this was not the first time she had used that excuse. She had made the same claim when she was arrested on the 20th of June 2024 after stealing from three different stores. If you've never seen her before, let's take a look at how this strange system supposedly worked. First, this is what happened when police arrived at the store that day. >> Sure. Is that the stuff? >> So, this is our stuff. And then she also has stuff from Walmart. Um, and then Home Depot. So her story is that um >> is there like a private place for us? >> I'm assuming she's here office. >> Yes. Yeah. She's never been here. >> Not for I mean I've been here right now. We don't have to speak in front of I just got them. So, she's just saying she has a partner, a boyfriend that um told her that he paid for this stuff prior um and then he sent her pictures or told her what items they are and then she went to pick them out. So, she wants to also pay for it after um she leaves. So, >> so she wants to pay for the items. >> She has to pay for it. Um but she's claiming that it was paid for prior to so kind of like a layaway. So she thought in her mind she's already like these items that she's getting are paid for. >> Correct. Yes. Then her partner paid for them and then he just told her which items they are >> and that is here and at Walmart and at Home Depot. >> So the other stuff is that like in her car or something or like >> it's in the bag. I separated ours. >> The woman claimed she was only there to pick up the items and insisted that someone else had already paid for them. At that point, the officer approached the suspect [music] who gave a confusing explanation about some kind of support system. >> I'll say that there are other parties involved. This is I mean it's supposed to be a supported system. Um I don't do this because I want to or have to at this point. Um but it's not an isolated activity. And um you know I guess certain stores tolerate it or know more about it. Um this one evidently not. So it became a problem. What do you mean by tolerate it? What is it that is being >> the the lifestyle? I mean, I go in and pick things. Especially here, it became more obvious like what what [snorts] they wanted chosen um the items and uh for like groceries or um Home Depot especially, this was a task that like my family wanted done. Um so, you know, I I made the effort to come out here to get those patches. Um, and you know, my understanding is that it's taken care of. >> So, I'm I'm surprised. >> Some other stores seem to be more tolerant. There's a grocery store I go to. I pick up a few things occasionally. >> According to the report, she had done the same at other stores, and employees had looked the other way, which may have convinced her that her strange system worked. The officer also brought this up during questioning. You saying you go in here and take these stores and you shop. Some stores tolerate it and some don't. And obviously >> Yes. Because right because um right that was my mistake. Maybe it was supposed to be a a known mistake or what or a purposeful mistake, but this I'm not this is not an isolated. It's supposed to be a supported system. It's supposed to be a way that things are done and um you know other people have to live under these conditions too. >> Has someone told you that this is something that is okay or >> Yes. >> who told you that? >> Um well like right now it's a it's a supported system. um you know there are people that are aware of this and um make sure that at certain places it's allowed basically. >> Mhm. >> So I guess it was annoying mistake that it'd be a problem here. >> The woman did not even deny it when the officer called it stealing. Was this strange system really just a way for her to take whatever she wanted? She then openly admitted to visiting multiple stores without showing any shame. Where are these items from in here? >> There is from there's some items from Home Depot and some items from Target or Walmart. >> That happened today. Did you go in there today? >> Yes. And it was tolerated. >> Yes. >> So you stole it from Walmart and Home Depot and they tolerated >> trouble and the store like when I walked out of Walmart um the cashier was like turned away. And >> what time did you go to Target? Uh, sorry. I have to go to Home Depot at >> just fire. I got dropped off at around 11:30 today cuz I I don't have a car and I want to buy today. So, um I went um by pace bus. >> So, you went into Home Depot around 11:30. What time you went to Walmart? >> Um uh like an hour a half an hour afterwards. So around noon or 30ish. >> And these all these items in here are a mixture of Home Depot and Walmart. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> So you had been you first had you had all these bags with you when you got off the bus, right? >> Correct. >> And then you brought them into first Home Depot. >> Took some items from there without paying. Left the store. No one stopped you or anything like that. >> No. >> And then you continued maybe walked over to Walmart. Is that the case? >> Correct. >> Okay. What was even stranger was when the officer asked whether she had a list of items to pick up if she truly had a system for collecting things she believed had already been paid for. Her explanation only became more confusing. >> Did you have like a list of stuff that you needed to get or was this all just spontaneous stuff that you were getting today? there was some communication. Um and uh uh I actually came for those captions the um the set of uh so that I came mostly through those. And who told you to get those items? >> This is supposed to be a general system. So, no. And so, you you decided that you need to do something. >> No, it was not an isolated procedure. I don't know. >> Well, earlier you told me that it was your partner that told you to come. >> Yes. But yeah, but the thing is is it's supposed to be a general a a supported system unfortunately, but you know, I'm living in it. I don't want it to uh get in trouble or whatever. and people seem to have means to make this accessible. Um, I'm very surprised here, but perhaps the error is the the store itself. Um, I, you know, this has been going on for a bit. >> I would just go to Home Depot. >> Setting the strange system aside, the bags she allegedly used to carry items from the stores were lined with foil. Whether intentional or not, the bags appeared to be designed to interfere with or block electronic security systems. At this point, the store decided to take action against her. >> So, you are banned from 2 years. You're not that means any chance anything you're not. >> May I purchase the shoes? >> Seriously, this is the the way you can purchase my future. Um okay. So the next one is going to be um I admit my own free will without price and promise that on 6204 also listed below. You um cost 1,282 and 58 for your signature over here and your name right here. I'm assuming all of these were stuff that were in her bags originally. Were these stuff in like the backpack or >> put it in here and there? >> Backpack. >> So, we are experience of the police persecution. >> Thank you. Um, additionally, according to we have the right to file a civil lawsuit against you. >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft. [snorts] This case shows that a strange excuse does not erase clear evidence of theft when the evidence is already against you. Making confusing explanations can only make the situation worse. Next, these women even pretended to be mothers and used a baby stroller to conceal the stolen merchandise. Maned Fancy enough. I'm telling you right now the money in front of you. Okay. 1 2 3 4 5 100 20 40 60 80 90 92 93 94 95 595. Yes. >> On the 30th of September 2024, [snorts] officers approached two women shortly after they exited a retail store with a baby stroller. However, the truth was that some merchandise had been concealed underneath the stroller. The officers immediately arrested both women. >> Do not resist. >> Do not resist. I'm telling you right now. Do not resist. Day 22 right now. I got this. I got this. You got >> fancing up, y'all. >> Fancy off. I'm telling you right now. >> Stop. >> Fancying up. I'm telling you right now. hairs. >> Which channel they gave us? Thank you. >> She appeared worried about her baby, but in reality, there was no child in the stroller at all. [snorts] It seemed she was simply using it as an excuse to make things more difficult for the officers. >> Where's the baby? >> My baby. My baby. My baby. Where's your baby? >> My baby, please. >> My baby, please. Please. There. Where's her baby? >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Good. Yo, you have that uh PR ID. calories. Put it down. Just going through the window real quick. >> Yeah. Stroller, but nobody. >> After that, the loss prevention officer arrived at the scene and pointed out their actions based on what he had observed on the surveillance footage. sunglasses also. >> Well, they went in the f room with two pair and came out with nothing. >> Okay, gotcha. >> So, you can actually see that. >> My my understanding is that the one wearing all black make the concealment right underneath the stroller. >> Uh yeah, let me see. >> What did the other female take? >> Uh I didn't see her take anything. >> Was she just pushing the stroller? >> She's pushing the stroller. You see her took those items and she put them inside of >> some kind of duffel bag. But she's right there on it. So, >> yeah. >> And then she arranges the bag, covers it up. So, >> okay. >> And then she's the one walking out with pushing the stroller. Okay. Okay. >> So, that and the two glasses. Sunglasses. >> Yeah. Let me Can I look at >> Yeah. >> Cuz we didn't have a case. So, that's not ours. >> Uh, no. These are not ours. >> Okay. >> These are guests. So she may have them on or in her bag. >> Oh, this right here. >> So she had these in her bag. >> A large amount of merchandise was believed to have been taken from Louis Vuitton, including sunglasses and clothing. The suspects were then separated for questioning, but neither seemed willing to admit to what they had done. I didn't have friends over there. She doesn't know which one's hers. She doesn't know what she doesn't know. >> Just try to press a little more to try to figure out what's what that she took. You want to pick a black just go look at the cameras if she wishes. So, is there something called there's an emergency? >> She's saying those are her glasses. She didn't pay for this. She planned to go back to boat stores to pay for these items. That's what she said. She didn't have the funds for something wrong with the car. The plan became clear to the officers. One woman concealed the merchandise while the other helped by pushing the stroller and taking it out of the store. Meanwhile, their vehicle was also searched as officers suspected it contained more merchandise from other brands. >> Oh man. So, >> oh, but they don't want to prosecute either. >> Yeah, you can see the tag right there. Looks like a tag. It looks like a Lacost tag, >> but you can see you see how right here there's a hanger. You can see a piece of hair. >> Yeah, I see that. >> No, a blue. Yeah, a blue polo. It looks like >> it's not really. >> Thank you. >> It's not really there, but >> Yeah. >> Can we make [clears throat] sure there's not a baby under there? >> Yeah. Where is the baby? >> Well, after she's complaining about now. >> Yeah. >> Um, do me a favor. Snap a picture of the uh of the tag. >> He's already got it written down for you. We already ran it. >> Beautiful. >> Yeah. We just want to notate that on the report. >> Um, >> at some point we need to get the uh purse off of her. >> Yes. Yes. We're definitely uh going to keep that in mind. Ma'am. Ma'am. >> This way. In addition, officers found a wallet on the other woman showing that she did not have enough money to pay for the merchandise. The officer counting the cash in English also revealed that she clearly understood English. >> Oh, what we do is in front of the cameras, we count it in front of her. Okay. Okay, >> ma'am. We're going to count the money in front of you. Okay. Is this all the cash you have? See, >> see. All right, ma'am. Seenora, count them out in front of you. Okay. 1 2 3 4 5 100 20 40 60 80 90 92 93 94 95 5 95 Yes, ma'am. Okay. >> Yes. >> So that's what you want to do every time there's cash up. Okay. But from there, this is your phone then. Okay. What is What is this? >> In the end, the two women were charged with theft and organized retail theft. The lesson is that knowingly helping someone remove stolen merchandise can still make you legally responsible, even if you never personally concealed the items. And when surveillance clearly captures your actions, denying your involvement may not make the situation any better. For now, let's turn to the bank and see just how far the woman's lies went. >> Sally, so you lied to me when I asked you your name. You said >> Why do you think I'm calling you Suzanne? I don't know your sister's name. >> That is >> You just told me you name it was Suzanne. You are a liar. >> On the 21st of November 2024, police received a call from Fifth Third Bank about a woman who had attempted to withdraw $3,690 using a fake ID. And the officers had no idea that this was only the beginning of a web of lies. Even from [music] the moment the officer first approached her, she already appeared confused and unsure of what was going on. >> What's going on? >> Nothing. >> What's going on? >> I was trying to make a withdrawal, but they won't let me. >> Okay. Is it your license you're trying to use or somebody else's? >> No, hers. I mean, mine. They got it. They got it. Is that fake? All right, let's go inside and check it out. 1012 with the fe now. Are you by yourself? >> Yes. >> My husband's family and dropped me. I'll just come back. >> Okay. >> That or I could. >> Either that or what? >> Or I can take it over to my daughter's house. >> Okay. >> Babe, so you you have that license is good or it's fake. >> No, it's good. I just got it redone because it it expired and I got to renew it. >> Okay. Whose account were you trying to get money out of? >> Mine. >> Your account. >> Ryan Stanley's account. >> We just called the client. It's in Illinois. The real >> That's That's impossible. >> The client is in Illinois. We just called the client. >> Okay. >> On their cell phone. >> So, whose ID is this? >> That is Suzanne Pierce. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Suzanne Pierce. >> Okay. Well, they're saying they closed their account. >> Who? >> The client. The actual client of the bank account that you're trying to get money out of. >> They couldn't talk to them cuz I'm that I'm that person. How could that possibly be? because you're trying to draw money out of account that they they appear as fraudulent. So, they called the actual owner of the account. >> Although she denied every allegation against her, it was clear that the bank had solid grounds for its suspicions. >> She's a little bit older than him, but she also said that um she's been getting calls with her home phone number all day, like these calls, weird stuff, and she did know that. So, she >> she did know it. >> Yeah. And the driver's license on my system is exactly the same number. So that's an actual duplicate of some sort. That's the information I have. I just have the one I have is expired and that one's not. >> Okay. >> The same number and the same and she knew the home phone number. >> So she was saying it might be your sister. >> Well, she initially said she t my sister and I said that does your sister smoke? She definitely smoker. She goes, "No, I don't believe so. I don't think there were any wrong." I said someone has your exact license number. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you can tell because they printed they printed land of Lincoln over it. >> You're supposed to have like these on grave. You know, they print way. >> So, I did verify the time. It's absolutely not. >> Okay, we're probably going to want need to talk to her for a minute. >> Going back to the suspect, the woman came up with several excuses for what happened, but her story kept changing, only raising even more suspicion. >> You have a sister? >> Do I have a sister? >> Yes. >> What's her name? >> Why? >> Huh? >> Why? >> Because we're investigating a crime. Are you trying to draw money out of your sister's account? your sister saying the owner of the account saying it might be your sister. >> Just don't be stupid. Like come on. We're not here for no reason. We know we know the answers to the questions that we're asking. It's why we asked them. Are you trying to draw money out of your sister's account? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. We had an argument a couple weeks ago. She said now she says no. >> She did give me permission. Now she's changing the mind. >> We're going to figure it out. >> So the answer is no. You don't have permission. >> I thought I did. >> But you just told me she changed her mind. So that would indicate >> she did, but we were in an argument and a lot of >> So that would indicate that would indicate that >> if we're yelling at each other and saying, >> "Yeah, I'm never going to talk to you again. Don't go my >> That's a little different. That's a little different than taking money out of an account." Right. >> No, the whole the whole thing she went talk to me. She said, "I'm not loaning you money anymore." >> And then the next time next thing I know, I'm talking to her like we're friends. >> So I talk to my brother and I say, "Hey, it's okay to take $4,000 out of my account." >> Yeah. Well, no, no, stop. Stop. But then I say, "Actually, no. I I don't like that idea." But you because your siblings assume, "Well, she said it was okay." >> I talked to her a few days later like it was nothing. >> But you just said she changed her mind. >> She did and then we talked. >> So you're going with the answer that best suits you. >> No. >> Okay. >> I assumed that she acted like it was no big deal. >> You ever do you drink? >> No. >> Do you smoke? >> Smoke what? >> Anything. >> Cigarettes? Yeah. >> Okay. You ever gotten really sick off smoking cigarettes and said, "I think I'm going to quit smoking." >> Mhm. >> But then you started up again? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does that seem as serious as, "Oh, you could take money out of my bank account, but no, don't. But then you're just going to do it anyway." So really, >> that's not what that's not what I'm saying. >> You just said that. >> She seemed unable to remember what she had already said, which only made it more suspicious that she was lying. Even her own name became inconsistent. >> Suzanne, spell that. >> Spell Suzanne. S U Z A N E >> got a Florida ID. >> Who do I know? >> What state? >> I'm not from Florida. >> Okay. What state? >> I didn't bring it with me. >> What state? >> Illinois. >> Okay. Spell your last name, please. >> M I L L S. >> Middle name. >> Or my maiden name is P I. >> What's on your ID? >> M I L L. >> Okay. What's your middle name? Suzanne. >> Why you call me Suzanne? >> Suzanne's my sister. >> What's your name? >> Sally. Sally, so you lied to me when I asked you your name. You said Suzanne. >> Why do you think I'm calling you Suzanne? I don't know your sister's name. >> That is >> You just told me you name was Suzanne. You are a liar. >> No, I mean >> you are Well, that's a liar. That's what a liar would say. Sally, is it? >> I've never said, "My name's Cody." >> See, we had the ID. He came out. >> I should have just known his name. What's your date of birth? And don't lie to me. What's your date of birth? July 8th, 1968. >> What day of the week were you born on? >> I think it was a Friday. >> Yeah. What day again did you say it was? >> July 8th. >> July 8th. What year? >> 68th. >> 68th. Okay. And that was on a Friday. >> I don't remember. I think maybe >> I think it was what? >> I think it was on a Friday. >> Yeah. Who really knows? That was so long ago. >> When I I I don't even know what day my daughter was born. >> Okay. All right. So, spell your spell your middle name for me. H E N R I E T A. >> Okay. And your last name again? >> M I L L S. >> What was your maiden name? >> P I E R Z. >> Piers. So what's on your ID? Suzanne M. >> Sally Henrietta Mills. >> Yeah. >> She showed no signs of guilt whatsoever. Instead, she began to portray herself as someone who had been pushed into the situation rather than someone who had willingly taken part in it. >> Yeah. So, she doesn't the owner of the bank account doesn't even have a TD bank account. So, >> I was explaining to them that I don't know. I I felt a little pressure into this and I know that sounds weird, but I I texted like before. >> All right. Well, who I don't know. >> Are you by yourself? Are you by yourself or just somebody with you? >> No. >> Did he Did he leave when he saw me pulling? >> She was on the phone. >> Yeah, he probably left when he saw me pulling. I wasn't trying to call anybody. He was still on the line. >> This is a common thing that we deal with all the time. So, this is >> I really honestly was going to say this day is last week. >> I mean, I was like, "Come on. Are you really?" >> Well, who's trying to pressure you into doing this? Your husband had like really pressure, but it's all the guys. Yeah. You saw you felt pressure. >> But, I mean, if you were to ask them, they'd say, "We're not." But it is kind of like, "Come on." You know, >> you're an adult. You can make >> I know. And I have a problem with that. Uh issues with that. You can talk to my daughter about that. >> And my son >> Sounds like you're hanging out with the wrong people. >> Yeah. >> Because now you're going to go to jail for something that they want you to do. >> So, how does that work? >> I mean, >> we put handcuffs on you. You go in the back of the car, then you go to the station, and then you go down to jail. >> I understand that. But about bail or >> getting in touch with my children or >> um it's you're going to go down to jail. You're going to it's it's a felony to pass >> fake fake IDs and stuff and try to do that. And then you're going to have a bail. >> I didn't make that. >> Okay. But you can't you can't take somebody you can't take an ID and use it's it's still even though you didn't get any money, it's still it's lose the color. >> She continued to pretend to be innocent in a completely unbelievable way. But it was becoming impossible for her to escape the consequences when the officer finally decided to take action. >> Yeah. So that that'll depend on your your appearance of the judge and depend on what charges you're facing. When am I going to see the judge? >> Well, it depends on the charges you face. >> We do not work at the jail. We cannot give you any of those answers. We are street cops. We're not jail cops. >> That's why I was telling you that correctional deputies will have better answers for you. >> Yeah. >> Put your hands behind your back for me. Your back for me. Appreciate it. >> Let go your 115 reference 53. Big deal. Come on. That's what you're good. You grab that for me. >> I know. I always steady on my feet. >> You're good. >> I will not let you fall. I promise. >> Stand right here. Watch out for the door. Take a seat for me. My seat belt's going to move for you. >> How am I going to get? >> Yeah, it's going to move for you. No, I mean get in cuz I'm like >> No, you're not sure. >> All right. When we get to the station, I'll get those handcuffs off you. Okay. >> In the end, the woman was charged with forgery, uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal identification information, and providing false information to law enforcement. The lesson is simple. Changing your story and pretending to be innocent only makes the situation worse when the evidence already contradicts you. Even if someone else pushed you into a crime, you are still responsible for the choices you make. Next, [music] let's meet the arrogant man who thought his rights were above the law. >> I'll be out with a 65 in progress tit. But then you chose to run, break a door, >> and not even give me a chance. On the 1st of December 2024, officers were dispatched to Walmart after receiving a report about a man who had switched his shoes with a pair of shoes displayed for sale inside the store. He was later approached by an officer as he left the store. But what he did next was completely unexpected. >> Can we have a talk? >> Um, you switch your shoes, man. Come on. >> Do a favor. Step right in there. >> Step in the office. >> Don't listen. Hey If you want to let ME >> I'll be out with a 65 in progress taser avoid. Send me a 94. >> You're being suspected of shoplifting. You want [ __ ] stop and talk. >> Okay. >> This happened. >> What the >> What the >> Please. What the Oh my god. >> Roll over. >> What the your hands behind your back on your stomach. >> All right. I'm one more time. The the thing. >> Listen, if you >> Dude, I I promise you I'm compliant. >> Get on your stomach. >> Okay. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. What the [ __ ] Oh my god. Dude, please. Like, don't arrest me. Like, why am I being arrested? What the [ __ ] would I do? >> You wanted to run, >> dude. I did not want to run. I didn't know what the you were doing. >> If you wanted to stop, I would listen. I was trying to tell you and then you took off through a door and you damn near broke a door. >> I did not even touch the door, man. >> It was as if the man had completely erased everything he had done from his memory as he ridiculously denied every wrongdoing. Even his earlier act of stealing was no exception. >> Like I don't understand what the hell I did. >> Lost prevention. Observe you swapping your shoes. >> I swapped my shoes? >> Yes, they have your shoes and loss prevention. >> So you're giving me my shoes back. That's what you're telling me. Well, at this point, you passed all points of sale. Then you wanted to resist, >> dude. No, I did not. You didn't tell me none of this. >> BECAUSE YOU RAN. >> I DIDN'T RUN. HOW? >> I CONTINUED WALKING. >> NO. OKAY, you if that's how you want to play that trick, >> dude. I did not run from you. How did I run? >> I got three LPO witnesses and a camera. >> I have literally I tried, >> my friend. I walked away from you. How do I run? >> That's That's not walking. There's no run. >> Well, you didn't get part cuz my taser got you, >> dude. So, walked from you. You popped me. There's no run. I never ran. >> Do you want I'm going to help you up. >> Yeah. How? Please tell me. >> Bring your knees up. Bring No, no, no. Bring like this. Okay. I'm going to sit you up. >> What the [ __ ] man? You pop someone with a taser foring nothing, >> bro. What' I do? >> I just told you shoplifted. Okay. What I did What I did, Dude, my my shoe had a rip. I switched the shoe because my shoe had a rip. >> And you walked out without paying >> my I I didn't steal nothing. How would I steal? >> You just admitted it to him, my guy. Stand up. Stand up. >> How? I can't like I can't like you got to lift me. I can't stand. >> I can't lift. >> His fake innocence was becoming completely obvious. Or perhaps he genuinely believed his own story because he then strangely started portraying himself as the victim. I'd been like, "Hey, you're being detained for shoplifting, potential potential shoplifting, and if you had if you had cooperated, gone into the office. >> You just shot me with a taser, my friend, because I'm not going to go into a a corner with you. Are you crazy? You're scary. What the [ __ ] would I go into a corner with you for?" >> Well, we're past that. >> That's disgusting. >> So, I'm a Oh my god, you just shot me with a taser, man. AND IT'S OW. GIVE me a second. >> Uh, can you take it out of me? Yes. Give me a second. Take a seat. >> No, no, no. It just ripped me. It just >> Okay. Have a seat with your back towards me and I will take it out. >> Over here. Right here. >> I got you ow. >> What the shot? That's That's crazy. >> Holy [ __ ] You just shot me with a taser for switching the shoes because it was ripped. >> That is still theft. >> I didn't steal. >> How did I thing? >> Yo, if you bought a shoe and it was messed up, a logical person would return it. Yes. >> I didn't steal nothing. That's all I'm telling you. I didn't steal. I didn't steal nothing. I didn't steal nothing. >> These three. Wow. Am I leaking blood? You just I'm leaking blood, man. >> I'm leaking for you. You start fire rescue. >> He then came up with his own story to cover up the shoe swap, but his arrogant attitude still did not let up. >> I don't know what to tell you. If I would have known this, I would have never even came for my fried chicken that's not even cooked. But >> what's your name? >> Mark. And that's what I came here for is not cook fried chicken. And so I was mad. Oh, I thought he was. >> So, they saw him swap the shoes. We went to go confront him. I was like, "Hey, man. You step in the office." Didn't even give me a chance. Sprinted out the door >> and there's no run, >> dude. You nearly took the door off. >> There's not even >> The door. The door is broken, >> my friend. I didn't touch the door and push the door back. I'm not >> Mark. What's your middle name? >> I'm not a wish list. I'm not Granny's. Y'all are con artists in me right now. If you if you if you drop camera, listen, sir, don't tell me I even touched that door. Okay, don't run a wish list on me right now. This is crazy. >> Over bay like O Mark. Over bay. Like O V E R B A Y. >> Y'all are running the wish list. Bet. I said it three times. >> Overbe. >> Yeah. Don't Don't do that. I'm smarter than that. I'm not stupid. And this is >> What's your birthday? >> You just shot me. >> We could This could have been worked out. You could have been possibly trespassed from the property and you'd been walking out of here. Well, we're we're past that now. >> Why are we Why are you guys like killing yourself to just arrest me? >> What are you saying? >> The shoes that he's wearing. >> He you swapped out his other shoes. >> No, I didn't. I'm back here. There you go. >> Please don't do this right now. It's It's Thanksgiving, the holidays, Christmas. Can you please just take this my arm and get in my shoes and let me go? I'm going to lose everything I have. like you guys don't understand that >> were his words an attempt to beg for mercy while still letting his oversized ego show. He then went on to share his difficult circumstances as if he were trying to make himself look like the victim. >> I don't have a mother, father, sister, brother, nothing. I I don't have nothing to help. I didn't I came here for fried chicken that's not even cooked to eat something. I didn't come >> So, how do you come here for fried chicken? >> And then it was shoot. >> It's not cooked, my friend. Oh, yeah. If you go look on the thing, it's not cooked. But there's nothing there. >> Go there and look. It's not there. That's not. So I walked around, >> went to the bathroom, I washed my hands, got mad at my shoe, and Jesus Christ. Well, >> please like, let me clean my hand and let me go. Godamn. >> What's the price on the door? >> The door. >> Come on. >> You can look at the video, man. I did not even touch. >> You did? >> Yeah, but I didn't I didn't contact. >> Can you please show me making contact? >> There's no way you can show me. I promise you that. There's no way she can show me making contact. >> Dude, I watched you make contact. >> There's no my finger. Like, you know how light I am? I'm light as a feather on my feet. >> Yeah, I am. I'm light as a feather, bro. Larry. And you're just getting me smart as positive as you can possibly do. >> I'm getting really agitated and aggravated because I'm homeless and you you it's it's energy to speak. I'm hungry. I came here for food. I end up shot over some shoes. >> Clearly, the man kept talking non-stop despite claiming that he was too weak to move. Even when the medical team arrived, he did not stop talking as he continued putting on his painful act. chest pain, nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, anything like that. >> Okay. Can I just feel your radial pulse on this arm right here? You want to see that? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That that hurts. That hurts. >> I'm I'm just touching your >> Yeah, I I I But it's like >> Well, it feels that way because you got tased like specifically on the arm. Here, I'll feel it on that side. >> It's not going to feel like that. It's like nervous. >> Well, I know. I'm not Listen, man. I just need to feel your your your pulse. That's That's all I'm checking. Yeah. Yeah. >> I'm saying my arm is like >> still electrified. >> It'll take some time to grow. >> Yeah. It's like you ever got like a Charlie horse? Like somebody punch you in the leg or something like that? Yeah. That's probably what what it feels like, I'm assuming. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, they're going to bandage you up and then I'll put these back on. >> Dude, why am I going That's That makes no sense. >> Why that stuff just >> No, you don't, man. You have one. >> It's Walmart policy. >> It's their It's their company policy. >> It's never come back and y'all y'all just shot me. >> Shot me. Who is that? It has to be up to somebody. >> Has to be up to somebody. Ma'am, >> can you call on him? >> Please. It's the CEO of the company, my guy. >> Oh my god. >> In reality, [snorts] there was some truth to his claim that he did not have the strength to talk, but only when he had to deal with the officer. He refused to answer questions about the matter yet kept talking non-stop to accuse the officer. Could this have been an abuse of his right to remain silent under Miranda rights >> several different times to you and you are not understanding I'm going to shut up. >> I'm just overexaggerated because you shot a little bit. >> That's what I'm getting. You shot that's why >> why because you're just trying to put me in jail. >> I'm not trying to >> You know my name. What's your name? Hi, my name is Mark. What's your name, sir? Mike. >> So, why are you trying to put me in jail? >> I'm not trying to put you in jail. >> Show me cuz you're lying. You're make you make me feel like [ __ ] bro. You're making me feel like complete piece of [ __ ] >> Cuz you guys are going to lie and do whatever you can do just to kick me in the head, right? >> So, let me let me put it this way. When I when I approached you, my goal was to have a simple conversation with you. >> No, no, you don't have to say you don't have to you don't have to respond. I'm just telling you what my goal originally was. >> My goal was to prevent all of this. >> So, you did you didn't prevent but you you you you >> you didn't give me a chance to even explain. You took two steps, pulled a Kyrie kill, and >> I took two more steps, bro. I took two steps. You jumped in front of me. I took three steps. Don't tell me I ran. Don't tell me I beat the door. I was I didn't see nothing. >> I didn't I never said you were Irish. >> I didn't do nothing. I'm speaking. You're speaking. I'm speaking. And you guys are lying. >> I didn't beat the door. That's all I'm saying. I didn't get the door. >> In the end, the man was charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest. What do you think about this man's behavior? Do you think he was genuinely standing up for his rights, or was he simply using them as an excuse to avoid taking responsibility? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Next, the woman turned her jacket pockets into a shopping basket, and that decision ultimately led to her arrest. >> Yeah. I put some of it in my bag and then some of it right here. But >> do you remember what you bought? >> No. >> You don't remember what you bought? >> No. Okay. >> Um, so yeah. >> On the 5th of April, 2024, police approached a woman while she was shopping in a store. However, what raised suspicion was that she had placed some items in her bag and jacket pockets, making officers suspect that she intended to steal them. When questioned, she denied the suspicion. >> Ma'am. >> Huh? >> Hi. >> Hi. >> How are you doing? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. What are you doing? What's going on? >> Uh, nothing. I'm just shopping. >> You're just shopping? >> Yeah. >> What are you shopping for? >> Uh, a bunch of stuff. >> All right. >> I just can't carry all of it. >> You can't carry all of it? >> Yeah. So, I have some stuff put away right now, but I'm going to >> Where'd you put it away? Yeah, I put some of it in my bag and then some of it right here. But >> how much stuff is in there? Looks like in there. >> Well, I have a lot of stuff. Some stuff's already mine. >> Okay. Okay. So, how much It looks like the bag is pretty full. >> Yeah, I have a lot of stuff in here, but like this uh this is uh what I was going to buy. >> Mhm. >> Um >> 17. >> This stuff's mine. >> Okay. >> Uh oh, this one. I was This one I was going to buy. >> You were going to buy all of that? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And then Nope. That one's mine. >> Mhm. >> Uh that one's mine. Uh this one I was going to buy. >> Okay. >> And that's it. The rest is >> So that's all that looks like it still has tags on it and stuff. >> I guess like the stuff like that, especially the like white lipstick or whatever that is. >> This >> um No. Well, I guess that too, but that one right there. You see that with the tag still on it? >> Oh, this one. >> Mhm. That doesn't look like it's okay. >> Yeah. No, this one I was going to buy, too. So, >> I just couldn't hold it all. >> So, I just put it in my bag until I was done cuz I'm not done yet. I have to buy diapers and stuff, too. >> Okay. So, so >> I wasn't stealing anything. >> Okay. What What's your name? I'm sorry. >> Candace. >> Candace. All right. So, Candace, listen. In fact, the woman was identified as having shopped at the store the previous day, and police also tried to confirm this with her. >> I honestly I don't remember if I was here yesterday or not. But >> do you think maybe you were? >> I uh I know I bought something, but I don't remember being here yesterday. >> So, you bought something, but you don't think you were here? Where did you buy something? >> What do you mean where did I buy something? >> Well, you said you bought something, but you weren't here. Uh, no. I know I came here. Okay. >> I just don't know what day, but I know I bought something. >> Okay. Do you remember what you bought? >> No. >> You don't remember what you bought? No. Okay. >> Um, so yeah. So, this was the stuff I was going to buy. >> Okay. >> Um, >> what about all that other stuff though, K? >> Well, that stuff's mine. >> Okay. Even the stuff that had the price tags and still looked like it wasn't empty. Like, I can't take it out. >> Yeah. I I >> cuz the nine west looks like you haven't even used that eyehadow. >> See that right there? The eyehadow palette. >> Yeah, this >> that doesn't look Oh, I thought it was N. You haven't even opened it yet. >> Yeah. No, because I don't open all my makeup all the time. >> Okay. >> So, >> do you have proof that you purchased it? >> Well, I wouldn't carry around the receipt for something I already bought a while ago. So, >> Okay. Okay. >> Well, let's go up to the front desk and let's take everything out of your bag and see what's in there that might belong. >> Yeah. And and the jacket, too, Candace. Okay. You got to take everything out. >> All right. Let's go to the front desk. Hold on. >> Yeah. So, put that back in there. Put that all that stuff back in there that you had in your bag. Put it >> Well, I want to separate it because I don't want It's just going to make our lives easier. So, let's just >> Okay. All right. That's fine. >> You have your ID on you, Candace. >> Yeah. >> Where's it at? >> In my bag. >> Go that way. >> Yep. Are those other makeup products in your jacket? >> She could not even confirm what she had purchased or which items she had yet to buy, raising the question of whether she really intended to purchase the items at all. Even now, verifying the items in her bag remained highly suspicious. >> This one. >> Okay. What's the ID? Is that you? >> Yeah, they're both me. >> They are. Can I see it really quick? Just make sure. >> Yeah, they stuck a hole in it. I don't know if you guys accept that as a valid. >> No. >> So, >> okay. >> It was $268 worth. >> Did you provide video footage of yesterday? >> Can you check 54? Let me know how that comes out. actually. >> So yeah, it doesn't look what I was going to buy. Like I already >> Yeah. But you understand what I told you initially though, right? >> It looks bad. >> Yeah, it does. >> It looks bad. I understand that. But I had planned on purchasing the certain item. >> The certain item. >> Yeah. So, like these I wasn't sure I was even going to purchase. So, uh when you guys were when you guys came in, I was kind of wondering if they would fit my dog. So, I don't think I'm going to purchase those because they don't fit. >> So, but I was going to purchase these. >> Mhm. >> And these. >> At this point, police decided to let the store determine which items actually belong to them. But before doing so, they made sure to detain the woman >> on the table. And your money down, too. Okay. All right. Put your hands money back. >> You're going to arrest me? >> Yes, I am. >> Yes, I am. >> The boxes. So, hold on a second. We're going to We're going to make sure everything is >> Hold on. We're going to open everything up for you. >> Keep your hand behind your back. These are the boxes here. So, let's just make some detations. She's saying some from another place. Let's make sure you don't pull that line here from this Walgreens. >> Back to this Walgreens. >> Okay. I will come back to the Walgreens. But >> all these don't want to come back. >> No. No. I know. I mean, I'm not I won't. But what I'm saying is uh I don't want them to con they sell that there but that's actually mine. >> Okay. >> So just really quick. >> So that so how can you do that? Because there's been times where I've purchased makeup and that makeup's mine. So >> like that's mine. >> All right. So Candace, listen. Um >> they don't even sell that in the store. >> Okay. All right. Candace, before let's stop with that for a second. Okay. You're going to get searched. Okay. Do you have anything on you that's going to stick or poke me or anything like that? >> No, of course not. >> Okay. How did you get here? Did you drive? >> Yes. >> The woman was then searched. During the search, officers noticed crushed powder residue and also found that she was carrying Xanax and amphetamine. >> They're like, "All right. Well, have to do with All right. Yeah. Y All right. So, All right. So, we can take her in and then we'll get the determination of how much she >> Okay. >> Yeah. We're going to we're going to tally everything up that she had that's from your store and then whatever we can't determine is not from we'll put back in her. >> And nothing that's going to >> No, nothing. No, just my medication. >> Just your medication? >> Yeah. Yeah. It's just in the cover. >> All right. >> See those? I weren't I wasn't buying those those nails. >> Just leave her first year. >> Oh, leave her first year. >> That's not your ID. >> That's not theirs. >> Hold on. And then we'll just leave the first year. And then we'll um whatever is not from here, we will >> That's what's >> That's just a crusher cuz I can't swallow my medication. So I put it in the drink and I drank it. >> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting. The lesson is simple. If you put unpaid merchandise in your bag or pockets, it can quickly make your intentions look suspicious. Being unable to clearly explain what you purchased only makes the situation worse. [music] Next up, this wasn't a shoplifting case, but it was still an alarming incident at Walmart. >> Hey, buddy. Hey, buddy. Hey, buddy. Wake up. Wake up. On the 22nd of September 2024, police received an emergency call from Walmart reporting an unconscious person inside a locked vehicle with no water, no food, and the air conditioning turned off. Officers immediately rushed to the scene and prioritized getting him out of the vehicle. >> Hey buddy. Hey buddy. Hey buddy. Wake up. Wake up. >> They're locked. >> They're all locked. >> Yeah. >> All right. And they don't have the button on the top. The door handles. >> You need me to get some. I'll get something for you to break it. >> No, I have to break it. I'm just trying to not shatter it on him. >> Hey buddy, wake up. >> Wake up. Darling, the child is still unconscious. I'm have to break the window. >> You want to break the front so we can open the back? >> Yeah, we're going to break this one. >> Yeah. >> Hey, buddy. Wake up. One more door. What made the situation even more alarming was that the father only appeared at the scene after everything had happened. Instead of showing concern for the boy, he continued to smile until the officer eventually placed him in handcuffs. >> Is this dad? >> Dad. Yeah, I know. >> Spanish handcuffs. We're done. >> It's unlocked now. >> I'm not sure if that's even not sure who he is though. >> He said it's his car. >> I'm trying to figure out who it is. He said he went in to go to the bathroom. He's only been in in a minute, but our person who called it in has been out here for at least 10 >> 10 minutes. Yeah. Yeah. >> He clearly failed to understand the seriousness of the situation, relying on his own assumptions to dismiss his responsibility. It was later revealed that he wasn't even the boy's biological father, something he eventually admitted to officers. Okay, >> first I need to know his son's name. Yeah, >> I know. >> Okay. No. Okay. No. Okay, I got to call mom because >> No, she said mom is not here. Oh, she said mom is in Walmart. Does she have her phone on her? >> She doesn't have her phone. I'm going to send this guy. >> He He was in the car, too. He needs to stay not go anywhere. >> Okay. >> Cuz I might be taking him as well. >> Okay. >> Listen to me, please. >> Okay. Okay. Quick. You got son's name and birthday, right? >> No. Uh, he doesn't. So, so he and stepdad. >> You don't know your stepson's name? >> No, >> just the first name, but he doesn't have the other information because they only been dating for 6 months. >> The man was identified as Yuanel Roas. He admitted that he had only been living with the boy for 3 months and didn't even know the boy's last name. It appeared he was emphasizing their fragile relationship to distance himself from responsibility. But if that was his excuse, what about the boy's biological mother? Okay. So, okay. Okay. Did you see him? Yeah, he went inside to give her something related to her part to you. Okay. He said he was coming. He he told her that he was coming back because the kid was left in the car by his because he fell and was just okay with you. It's okay. It's nice. >> Besides these two, there was one more person who was believed to be the suspect's friend. He also gave a different explanation, further proving that none of the three adults had truly taken care of the victim. >> Why did you tell me? >> Huh? It didn't seem like an important time to remember. Okay. Um, so basically he's telling me that he went inside the store when they went inside the store. >> So he went in with them. Yeah. >> With both of them at the same time. >> And all three of you left the baby in the car. He said it's not fair. He know he's aware that it's not fair, but uh he went inside the store and it's not his kid. That's awesome. He say you came here because they gave me a ride to the store so he could get something. >> I didn't know them. >> Okay. Uh they know each other. >> Returning to the mother, police arrested her and she would later come to regret her actions. But her regret wasn't for what happened to her own family. It was for the fate that awaited her. >> Okay. Um, >> do we get to full 43 of the child? >> Yeah. >> All right. With the childh. >> Okay. You have her. We going to in the [music] end Astred Garcia Rojos and Yuano Montes Rojos were charged with aggravated child abuse. This case shows that negligence can have serious consequences, especially when someone's safety is at risk. Taking responsibility instead of making excuses can prevent a dangerous situation from becoming something far worse. >> Threw her card at the clerk, caused disturbance, [screaming] and then we tried to escort her out. >> On the 15th of April, 2023, officers approached a woman after receiving a report that she had thrown a card at a store employee and caused a disturbance inside the store. At this point, she continued to resist while trying to justify her actions. >> Stop and calm down. >> You don't touch me, please. >> I am a police officer. >> I don't know what you are. I'm throwing stuff. I >> know. You throwing your your You threw your card. >> She was screaming at me. I was just talking like she was talking. >> Why are you Why are you screaming at her? >> She because that's how she talked. >> What happened? >> I asked her. I was scared to have my money back because I did not do the right thing. So I was like, "Okay, I I'm going give you back the beer. You can put it on my car." I gave her the car and she said, "No, don't do it." I said, "How you're how you're not doing it? I don't get it." >> Listen, when I came in there, I saw you yelling. >> Okay. >> Threw your car to her. >> Yeah. You got to put me in prison because I was yelling, >> man. It's just really fun. >> Yeah. You can most certainly jump started with this. You're you're detained. You're detained because you are causing disturbance inside a private business >> and you're not you're not going to own up to that because I want my >> and you're and you're lucky you didn't go to the ground because you're resisting us. >> How you can sit there and tell us when you resisted us >> your hands. No, you do not have a right to resist. We're law enforcement. Come on. We're going to take you. Come on. >> She completely believed she was innocent and seemed unaware that her actions were only making things worse, eventually leading to a resisting arrest charge. Even the arrest itself was difficult, forcing officers to use stronger measures to restrain her. >> Please, please, please. >> You have a lot of background. >> You're not going to resist us. and be disoriented. >> It's really not funny. Can you please stop? >> Nope. >> I did not. >> Yeah, you did. >> Calm down. Calm down. >> Stop. You're not going to kick. You're not going to kick. [screaming] >> You're not going to kick. >> You're not going to resist. You're >> not going to resist. YOU CANNOT. [screaming] >> YOU'RE BITING ME. MA'AM. >> FIGHT. >> You're get tased. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> Stop resisting. >> We're going to get tased. If you don't do me, >> do not bite. >> Because of her actions, backup officers were called in to assist. What she did had turned the situation into a major scene, drawing the attention of everyone around the entire street corner. on the air. >> So she was being 22 in day hunt. >> She threw her. >> Calm down. [screaming] >> Stop. >> Calm down. >> She tried kicking me. >> She's biting. >> She tried biting you. So, we couldn't get we couldn't get >> That's what I asked for. >> We couldn't get the uh we couldn't get >> sit down. Stay down. >> YOU STOP. YOU STOP TOUCHING [screaming] ME RIGHT NOW. YOU STOP TOUCHING ME. YOU STOP TOUCHING ME. >> Stop touching me. >> STOP TOUCHING ME. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING? NOTHING. >> Put her back ON THE GROUND. >> I DID NOTHING. I DID NOTHING. >> I DID NOTHING. >> One leg out. >> [screaming] >> showing no shame at all, she had caused enough concern among the bystanders that the officers had to step in and explain what was happening. >> She's bit my partner and she scrapped me and she kicked me. So, what are you talking about? >> She threw her card at the clerk, caused disturbance, and [screaming] then we tried to escort her out. >> This store rob the >> You can't kick in and bite an officer. >> Like, come on. What do you mean? She got bit >> for us. We are tourists. >> Okay. >> Yeah, we talked with >> No, understand. What do you mean you're tourist? What does that mean? >> They brought the money for us. >> She threw her car in a clerk's face, caused disturbance, wanted to be escorted. We took her out. We put in her car. She started freaking out. >> I don't understand. This place for us. >> You can't bite an officer, kick an officer. What's What's the excuse for that? >> Who provoked the situation? Not her. >> What are you talking about? >> Not Not me. >> [ __ ] out of it. Look at she my arm is >> stolen from her, >> bro. >> So, here's a story. >> Who are you? >> Do me a favor. >> I'm a step father. >> Okay, give me a second and go over there. The woman was identified as Angelica and was clearly intoxicated, which may have contributed to her inability to control her actions. She also appeared noticeably distressed while inside the police vehicle. >> It's so funny. [laughter] >> [laughter] >> Sit up. Hey, sit [laughter] up. Sit up. >> It's up. All right. Sit up. Sit up. Okay. [laughter] [laughter] Take a deep breath. Hey, take a deep breath. [laughter] Breathe. Stop crying. >> What's your name? [laughter] >> Hello. What's your name? >> What is it? Angelica, [laughter] take a deep breath. Hey, talk to talk to me. Stop crying. >> Angelica was charged with battery, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. She was sentenced to a mental health diversion program. Don't blink just yet because what followed was another wave of pure chaos. >> I'm trying to get my baby back. He [ __ ] Twy. He's sucking. No. What about my bag? >> You're under arrest for DUI. >> Put your hands on your Get on THE GROUND. GET OUT OF THE GROUND. ON the 23rd of June 2025, police received a report about a drunk woman causing a disturbance at Wendy's. As soon as officers approached, the woman completely lashed out, making it impossible to hide the chaos and noise coming FROM HER. >> HELLO, >> ASHLEY. WHAT'S going on? >> What's up? I'm trying to get my baby back. Heing tweaking. He sucking now. What about my biggy bag? No, he doing that. He is doing that genuinely. Look, look. He's sucking this. >> You're in here causing a scene. >> Look. Okay. I don't cause B. He took my drink. I paid for that. >> I paid for that. I have to go. What's up? Where's my bag? I pay for I paid for a nugget. You need me or no? >> Did she pay for anything? >> I did. No. Girl, where's my It's in that car. >> Okay. Go get the receipt. >> Okay, cool. Can I Wait. >> If she comes back with the receipt, I'll get the receipt. Can I walk? Did you come to the drivethru or what? >> No, I came to the restaurant and I parked and I came inside. So, can I get the receipt and can I get my food? >> Let's go walk outside. >> Okay, cool. >> Let's walk outside. >> Okay. I'm not doing too. I'm not trying to do too much and shrinking y'all. Like, let me know. Car's gone. >> Police asked the woman to step outside to avoid disrupting the store, but her condition at the time [music] completely interfered with the officer's ability to carry out their investigation. Did you go? You went through the drive-thru. You got a receipt. >> Who said stop right here? >> I'm asking you a question. >> That's why we're Stop right here. Who said stop right here? >> Whose car is this? >> Whose car is this? >> You already know. >> Whose closet? No, I'm not moving. >> So, let Okay. So, >> whose closet? >> Who else is in the car with you? >> Nobody. So, >> yeah, I just [ __ ] appeared here. >> That's what happened, babe. That's what they said. That's what happened. >> Okay. Well, you already stated to us that you went through the drive-thru, ordered food, and they didn't give it to you, and you had a receipt in your car for what you ordered when you went through the drive-thru. >> Did they tweet? >> Is that true? You You ordered food through the drive-thru, and they didn't give you your food. >> Did they tweet? Didn't I give my >> I'm asking you. I wasn't here. >> Did they, though? >> I'm asking you. >> I'm asking you, dog. >> I wasn't here, ma'am. >> I'm I'm just saying they got my receipt.
