Nobody here. >> Go. Go get her. >> Please. I hadn't even left the store. I was putting everything back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm not doing >> Put your hands behind your back. >> If they're watching the video, you paid for none of that stuff at the selfch checkckout. They're watching the video right now. The [music] whole thing's on video. Walmart's camera system is said to be better than a banks, and it's not hard to see why that reputation became so widespread. Yet, even with clear footage, some shoplifterss still argue back without a hint of shame. So, how does it end for them? Find out in today's video. The worst shoplifterss ever caught on Walmart CCTV. Let's start with this shameless woman who refused to admit [music] what she had done. I suppose you stuffed something pink in the waist. >> No, I did not. >> Yes, I did. >> No, you did not. >> Around and put it all back. >> You can you can save your breath. Okay. On the 28th of December 2024, police received a report from Walmart after employees had been monitoring a woman suspected of stealing merchandise by concealing items in her pants, purse, and jacket. Before approaching her, the officer gathered more details from the employees. >> Hey, status. >> I feel like I recognize her. I think she used to be somebody I know. >> So, >> is it that lady with her pin? >> The orange thing? Yeah. >> With the jacket on. >> Mhm. >> So, you don't want me to micro into your pockets and leave? >> Oh, no. So, we call y'all when they conceal stuff like that just in case they make a move for your weapons or anything like that. >> But right now, he's keeping a good eye on it on there. Just kind of having him hang out until she leaves just to make sure everything's, you know, okay on her end. >> Mhm. >> And we're not putting ourselves in harm's way. >> So, you don't want to get her just on concealment. maybe try to get her walking out as she does with the merchandise. We got her on camera, she was in the that purse aisle right there in the back behind her. The more we get on her, the more we can have an incentive to never let her back against it. >> Okay. >> And what I was telling him, she's got a knife. Really one of the bigger reasons we called. >> Mhm. >> We usually don't care. You know what I mean? M >> he has concealment on a person and in the bag. >> What's that? >> He has concealment on her person and in the bag. >> Okay. [clears throat] >> Police waited outside the store for 30 minutes, expecting the woman to eventually walk out, but she had no intention of leaving anytime soon. Even then, loss prevention continued, recording her through a gap in the shelving for another 25 minutes to capture her actions. At that point, officers changed their plan. Let's see how she reacts when they finally approach her. >> Hey, >> how you doing? >> Good. How are you? >> What's up? You just stuff in your waistband right there. >> I heard stuff happen in my waistband. I'm just going through my wallet. >> I just watched you stuff something pink in your waistband. >> No, I did not. >> Yes, I did. >> No, you did not. >> Walk back through to the AP office. You're >> okay. We're going to >> grab your purse there. Mm- This is [ __ ] >> All my stuff is right here. So, tell me how I did that. We'll >> go back here to the AC office. Talk to you. >> Thinking I need to go back to the AP office. I'm going take a left right here. I'm going to the back, ma'am. >> At first, it looked like the woman was cooperating as she walked with the officer toward the loss prevention office, but she was actually trying to leave and things quickly turned tense. >> I'm going to put you in cuffs cuz you have clothes. Not done anything wrong. >> You can go back here. You can walk back there in cuffs. You >> go back here. You walk back in cuffs. >> Go. Go get her. Put your hands behind your back. >> Handcuff her. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Put your hands behind your back. Be still. >> Be still. >> Be still. >> Did you hear me? I said be still. Please stop. >> Hey, you're fixing to go on the ground if you don't put your hands behind your back. Please, >> please stop. >> Handcuffer. >> Please stop, y'all. >> Okay, that's it. >> Please stop. >> Go down to the ground. [cough] >> Put your hands behind your back [laughter] now. >> [clears throat] >> Put your hand behind your back >> now. [screaming] I can't breathe. I can't breathe. My god. After the chaos, she had earned herself an additional charge of resisting arrest. But she didn't seem concerned about that either as she continued trying to justify her theft. >> Please, >> I hadn't even left the store. I was putting everything back. >> Good, good story. >> Didn't you see me? >> Good story. >> Didn't you see me? Did you not see me putting it all back? >> Come on, stand up here in front of the car. I have not left the store. I was putting everything back where it went. What's this about? >> Huh? Wagp. [cough] >> Did you follow me and watch me put all the stuff back? >> What do you think they've been doing for almost an hour? They put all the stuff back >> for an hour close to it. >> Is that a belt? What is it? >> They've been watching you conceal items for about an hour >> and then watch me put it back before I left the store. >> You can you can try that in court all you want to >> anything, sir. I >> You're under arrest. Do you understand that? >> That's what I was doing. I haven't left the store. Okay. [laughter] Putting it back. >> Okay. Yeah. I stick stuff down in my pants and then I put it back, too. Go look and see the stuff I put back. >> Come on. >> Go look and see. >> Why would I lie about it? >> What's this? >> Huh? >> It's a baby doll outfit. >> Oh, I told you. Watch you put >> I was trying to put it all back where it went. >> Lucky you didn't get tased. Do you understand that, too? Resist an arrest. >> I was going to put everything back was essentially what the woman was trying to say. But with officers finding so much merchandise hidden in only her bag, it was hard to believe she could have returned everything to its original place. >> Shannon. Okay. [clears throat] You ever heard of crossing the guard line >> at the sheriff's office? Okay. So, after we're done here, if you still have anything on you and you don't tell us about it, that's a felony. >> When we get to the jail, >> I can't feel anything. >> Okay. We're going to go through everything good, but I just want you to know if you got anything stuffed anywhere else and then you don't tell us, you go inside the booking area and then they do a disrobe search on you, then it becomes a felony instead of a misdemeanor. Okay. >> You got two months left on misdemeanor probation. >> Not anymore. We uh we started watching her uh after the the the accessories aisle and she started to then went down the coil aisle and started [clears throat] >> her first concealment was the belt and in her back and then she started to just load stuff inside that white bag. I didn't see the bag. >> Okay. >> We had cameras, [clears throat] >> right? >> I wasn't doing it. I was walking around and putting it all back. >> You can you can save your breath. Okay. I can't see it on camera. >> Please, can can you save your breath? [clears throat] >> Do you have a vehicle here in the parking lot, Shannon? >> Yeah. I ask him if I can call my son. He just lives right down until he >> That'll be up to them as far as they tow your car or or >> call. You can you can get to use the phone when after you've been booked in. You're not using the phone before you go. >> In the end, the woman was charged with obstruction of a police officer and shoplifting. Trying [snorts] to justify your actions after being caught does not erase what happened. Resisting arrest can also turn a shoplifting incident into a much more serious situation. Next, this woman was about to give Walmart another chance to prove just how impressive their surveillance cameras are. steal it for us inside her jacket, but it fell. So, she just dropped it from the floor. >> No, you just got me a piece of >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> No, you're going to jail now. >> Please. I'm >> The 1st of October, 2025, officers were dispatched to a Walmart after receiving a report of an active shoplifting incident. [snorts] Every move the suspect made was being monitored by loss prevention staff and officers through the surveillance cameras. >> So, it's this one right here. She just put back the dress right now and some of the jewelry, but she still got some other. >> It's the cheap jewelry. It's not that expensive. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> But she put some other in some of the white >> the white bags that she's finding right now. >> But I don't know what she's doing right now. Do you have an one? >> I got one. Oh, one there. >> Oh, there she is. >> That one right there. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. We're going to talk with her in just a second. Right after. So, she's been walking on the apparel and she's just going around and around. She's selecting >> two. >> I got six. So, you will be able to It's your fault. If you want to go, we can go and ask her inside or we can wait for her to try to exit. >> Well, I mean, it's it's >> What do you guys want? Do you guys want her to Do you want your stuff back or do you want to catch her for that? >> Well, I would like to trespass her and persecute, but if we tough her inside, we're not going to be able to do that. >> If we stop her inside, [music] >> cuz she might say, "Oh, I was going to pay for it." What just happened proves that the saying Walmart cameras are better than bank cameras may actually have some basis. From [snorts] the surveillance footage alone, the employee continued providing officers with detailed information about the woman's actions. >> Was with a male. The male was on the phone the whole time and she was on the front end like this like she was falling asleep. So that's what I told the operator that probably she's under some influence. >> Yeah. >> But she was like she was fallen. Um and then she'll start walking and selecting merchandise. >> She going toward exit all at the front. >> Yeah, she's coming to the front right now. Hopefully she's going to try to exit >> cuz she has been doing the exactly same thing like three four times. She walked to the back and then come back in and go to women's apparel. >> So let's check out right now. Is is that where she just turned to or went back? Oh >> no, she just turned into the funeral. >> This is the front towards us. Yeah, she just put the dress in one of those shelves. Let's see if she selected once again cuz she just selected the dress fell so she grabbed it and put it in one of the rides. >> I think she's walking to the dress. Yeah, she's walking to the dress. >> I think Melissa already got it. >> She like hit it or something. >> No, she concealed. Oh, yeah. The dress is right there. >> She concealed. >> She concealed a dress inside her jacket, but it fell. So you just grab it from the floor and put it on the front. >> Oh. >> At this point, things began to escalate as employees spotted the suspect moving toward the exit. Officers immediately moved in to confront her. >> I'll be right there. They said stop. That means stop. >> I don't have any more stuff on me. >> Better way. Police. Put your hands behind your back. >> It's all in there. I don't have anything on me. I promise it's all in the bag. I'm not >> Relax your arms. >> Why are you arresting me? >> Relax your arms. Stealing. >> I Yeah, you're in the bag. I >> relax your arm. >> Why are you making me arrest me? >> Listen. Look at me. Look at me. >> Why we're arresting you is cuz you just stole. You don't get to drop the items and that's how it works. >> I'm sorry. Please. >> No, you're not. You're sorry. You got caught. That's what it is. >> No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please don't arrest me. I'm begging you. >> Too T too late. You're already arrested. >> I'm begging you. Please don't. >> No, you wouldn't. Cuz you didn't even want to stop. >> Are you talking about yourself? The suspect's attempt to run became a clear admission of her actions, and she began showing remorse only after being taken into the loss prevention office. >> Guess who's going to jail now? >> You. >> No, you just call me a piece of >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> No, you're going to jail now. >> Please. I'm >> That's how it works. >> And you had more [ __ ] in your pockets. >> Those are mine. I got those from Target. Those I got from Target. >> You probably stole those from Target, too. >> No, I did not. I bought those. >> I bought those. I didn't >> got a No, I got you. >> Okay, stand up real quick so I can see my >> All right, go ahead and take a seat. >> What's your name? >> Is that one word? >> Did my partner let you know you have a warrant as well with Redmond for assault for and theft? >> Yes, ma'am. >> I feel good about that. Yeah, I'm just letting you know. And that one's for I think like 5,000 or something like that. >> Are we doing new charges or we just >> No, I'm doing new charges, too. But we'll do a site for her new charges. She'll get booked on her warrant. So, we'll give her >> the site. >> Yeah, we'll just give her a physical copy that can go in her belongings. >> Correct. I will go do the site. >> Cool. You're never going to get out of jail for your misdemeanor warrant. >> I bet you'll be out like next week. It turned out this woman was no amateur. As employees [snorts] soon discovered even more merchandise from other stores among her belongings. >> I'm very good at my job. I know damn well it was me. >> All right. Sure. >> So, she has a receipt from Target in there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Everything that's Target is hers. >> Yeah. It's just the grocery that she has for this is going to be ours. >> That's all of your stuff. Your product? Okay. This stuff is is Target's? >> No, that's going to be ours. Oh, this is yours, too. >> I mean, what is on the back? She has a receipt from Target, right? And it's inside. >> Okay. >> This stuff is hers. >> Yeah. She got the receipt. >> Okay. This is your stuff. >> So, this is your new citation for the theft recharge, right? This is different from the warrant that we're taking you in on from Redmond. Okay. >> So, this has your court date on it as well. I need you to listen for a second, Marian. This has your court date on it and has your case number. >> I don't care. >> Okay. Well, you're gonna have another warrant if you don't >> go anyway, so I don't care. >> So, we can't take any of the food. >> Yeah. >> And then this food is going to get out. >> Well, that's not our fault. You can't keep committing crimes and expect to just stay out free. No, I don't. I just want to go home. I would do anything. >> No, you you have active warrants and then shoplifting on top of that and then I mean I can get you with obstructing if I wanted. >> Go ahead. >> Okay, then you just stay in jail for longer. >> We're not going to play this game. >> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting and taken into custody on existing warrants. [snorts] Dropping stolen items does not erase the crime, especially when surveillance footage has already documented what happened. Trying to run can only make the situation worse. Next, this woman turned a simple chicken theft into a chaotic getaway. >> Scanning my stuff. She says, "I forgot two of the chickens." Well, what? They were in a bag. So, yeah, I did forget that. >> Can I get your bag? >> On the 29th of September, 2024, officers approached a woman in the Walmart parking lot over suspected involvement in a theft that had occurred earlier inside the store. According to the report, she was allegedly seen taking merchandise outside without intending to pay for it. But when confronted by the officer, she denied everything. >> Hold on. I have no idea. I scanned because this is so much [ __ ] I was scanning my stuff. She says I forgot two of the chickens. Well, one of they were in a bag. So, yeah, I did forget that one. The other ones I scanned like this. And she goes, "Well, when I got to the door, she goes, you didn't scan this and this." And I go, "Well, what three items was it so I can pay for?" She goes, "No, it's too late for that." And I go, "Well, if I made a mistake, I want to go pay for my food." >> Sure. >> No, it's too late. You're coming to my I'm not going to your office. So, I threw this three things that she said I didn't scan. I tried to get >> chicken and what? >> It was chicken and chicken strips. >> Okay. >> She said it wasn't. So, I'm like, "Okay, am I going to pay for these or not?" No, you need to not go to my office. I'm not going to your office. Okay. If you don't want people to have accidents, have regular checkouts cuz I scan them. And if I didn't, it was an accident. Let me go pay for them. No, too late for that. You're going to my office. No, I'm not. So, I gave her the stuff. She refused to take them. So, I put them on the car and I left. >> Okay. Okay. >> All right. Do you have an ID on you or anything? >> For what? >> Because you were involved in theft and we got >> It wasn't a theft. It was I was still in the store, so it's not theft. and it was an accident with the chicken and I wanted to pay for him and she said no. >> According to the report, she passed the final point of sale but was stopped by an employee so she left the merchandise behind and walked away. She acted as if she had done nothing wrong but the officer had a different explanation of what happened. >> This okay so we got called for a theft. Okay, so obviously we're going to respond. Okay, so she said that this theft led into a disorder. Okay. So, I guess you guys >> review the cameras. There was no I I need your ID first. I mean, you're not in trouble right now. >> I am not in trouble for nothing. >> I'm just trying to figure Ma'am. Ma'am, I'm just trying to figure it out. Okay. >> All right. Well, let's figure this out cuz I got cold stuff. >> So, who else were you with? >> What does it matter? >> Like she said, >> because I want to get going. >> Yes, but you yelling at me. >> I don't care. You got my license. You don't. I didn't even need to give them to you in the first place. >> No, just give me my damn reason. >> Stop acting like that. >> WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? >> UH, I already told you the problem. >> Okay, then what's the hold up? >> I need to look at >> Things could have been simple if she had cooperated and provided her information. She might have only received a trespass notice and been told to leave, but instead she became confrontational and increasingly tense with the officer. >> Well, go. Why are you holding me here for? I already told you what happened. the fat [ __ ] can come out here and talk TO YOU. >> TRASH ME OUT. STOP. >> SO, what I need to do is I need to go up and see camera. But I need you to go with me cuz I can't just let you go by yourself. >> Well, then good. Call one of your other pigs back cuz there know you. They ain't doing nothing. Have them sit right here while you go in there with this bad and look at the goddamn camera. >> I need you to go in there with me. >> Okay, then I guess we'll just prolong this. >> Let's prolong it then. Fine. >> And I'll wait for us. We got to pursue someone just trying TO HIT YOU. SHE DELIBERATELY drove away, making it even more apparent that she was avoiding responsibility for her actions. She even disregarded traffic violations just to speed away. >> There's a parking right there. seriously over at Walmart. You will have to stop living. >> Don't touch it. Let me go. >> Carl, let me get in the car. HONEY, GET IN THE CAR. >> What happened? STOP. >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting. The suspect turned herself into the cause of chaos by deliberately escalating the situation and even drag the people with her into the consequences afterward. >> He's in custody. We have both in custody. >> Hey. >> Hey. Why is your >> son? Hey, he's blocking the door. My son is coming. >> You think you're going to put your HANDS ON HIM? >> HE'S NOT. MY SON IS COMING over here. YOU THINK I TRUST HIM? >> KIDS THINK YOU ARE. I'LL SHOW YOU HOW STRONG YOU ARE IN the in the car. Yeah. In the car. in the car. Get daddy's glasses right there. Right there. The other pieces right there. Right here. Back up. Back up. >> Where are you guys taking them? >> Give us a second. We need to untighten this. Untighten this one. >> Where are you guys exing this to? >> Give us a second. I don't know your number. >> Can I talk in the car? >> Just go tell my daddy to settle down and get in the car with me. Please >> get in the car. Go. >> I just want to make sure he gets you in the car. >> Oh, good. Get in the car. >> She just We're just yelling. >> Can you tell her you just said okay? >> Stop yelling. >> Okay. continue yelling. No. Okay, just get in the car, please. BABE, >> BABE. >> All right, get in the car, please. Don't make it hard. >> Can you get off me? I'm trying to get in the damn car. >> All of this started over a bag of chicken. Clearly, this family wouldn't be having chicken for dinner tonight, and the people with her weren't ready to accept that outcome. still trying to create more content from the arrest. >> YOU'RE NOT BECAUSE I TOLD YOUR OFFICER I HAD nothing to do with it. He should have walked away. He had no proof that we have >> No, you I don't have to I don't have to help you with your investigation. >> No, THAT'S NOT WHY I'M CUSS. I DIDN'T DO THAT WRONG. >> YES. >> WELL, MY ARMS ARE TOO BIG. >> NEGATIVE. >> I already told you. I'll be the arrow there. >> I can't have them tight. I told I can't have that website. >> OH, YOU'RE NOT SITTING DOWN. >> YES, YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR HANDS out for you to call someone. You better call someone. I love you. You're making a mistake. >> CALL WALMART RIGHT NOW. THEY LOOK RIGHT AT MY FACE ON CAMERA. AND we have nothing to say to you. You're not a I can't do anything for you. Sit down. I told you I can't. Here, Cole. Can you see how tight this one is on the left? I can't feel my fingers. >> Yeah, it's scrunching your wrist. I can't feel how many fingers go in there. >> What happened to your whip on my wrist? >> I can see it digging into your skin from here. >> In the end, the woman was charged with theft, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. A simple [snorts] mistake can become a much bigger problem when you refuse to cooperate and run from the situation. Staying calm and taking responsibility can prevent things from escalating further. Next, let's meet this no shame woman. >> I'm I'm a young lady. I'm a young lady. I deserve it. >> SO, LET ME GO. LET ME GO, G. LET me go. >> Okay. Have you ever been arrested before, ma'am, for anything? Even traffic? Anything? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. What for? >> I don't want to discuss that right now. Is that okay? >> On the 4th of January, 2026, police received a report from Walmart about a woman who was suspected of shoplifting. She reportedly had a receipt to show employees that she had paid for an entire cart full of merchandise. But the police soon realized that something wasn't right. >> Okay, well, let me see your receipt, then. I don't have to prove [ __ ] to neither one of y'all. >> Yeah, you do. Let me see your receipt. >> I don't got to prove [ __ ] to >> All right, let me see your receipt. >> I don't have to. >> Okay, then I'm going to then you're going to be detained. >> I'm not being detained. >> Yes, you are. >> I'm tripping. I don't got to prove to you. Like I said, >> we got a retail theft that just occurred and uh they're giving me a hard time here in the front. Let me see. >> Hey, look, sir. >> Let me see. Hey, Tari, get in the car. We going to go. >> This my this my code that paid for for9. I'm going to go. Hey, can you get in the car? >> Stop tripping that I just paid for. Okay, >> Tariq, come on. It's cool. It's cool. >> It's not cool. Let me see what you bought. >> These are the items I bought. Excuse me. >> Okay. >> Stop. Don't touch me. Mama, don't touch me. >> So we can go. Let's go. >> Okay. You're not going anywhere. >> This is the jacket. This is the phone. >> Stop. >> LIKE Y'ALL OVERDOING IT. ABOUT TO STEAL ANYTHING. >> WHAT YOU YELLING FOR? >> THIS THIS IS THE JACKET. THIS IS THE ITEM. This is the proof of the purchase. >> Okay. Stop. >> Stop. What? That's a proof of >> Okay, let me So we can go. >> Okay. Let me tripping. Let me read it. >> Sir, you don't have to hold the phone to the statue. Don't do all that. You can read my my phone from here. Step back. Step back. Get in the car. >> Get in the car. Get in the car. Get in the car. >> She began avoiding the officer and refused to hand over her phone to address the issue, clearly raising more questions. Soon after, her refusal to cooperate caused the situation to escalate. >> Let me see the jacket. >> Why would I be Don't Siri, get in the car. I'm my mother. Ma'am, >> don't touch me, bro. You tripping. >> OKAY. NO. STOP TOUCHING ME. >> You're going to go to jail. >> Put your hands BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'M not doing >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Get in the car. >> Stop. YOU GUYS OVERSE HIM. He overdoing. HE STAY SNATCHING MY PHONE. JUST CALM DOWN. PUT YOUR HANDS. Calm down. >> Get out of the car. Calm down. Calm down. Dude, >> where's your code at that you paid for? >> Get out of the car. Get in the car. >> Get out of the car or you are going to go to jail. You're obstructing right now. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Get back. I don't get back. >> Get back right now. Get back or I'm going to get you back. >> Get out of the car. >> This way right now. >> You're going to go TO JAIL >> FOR WHAT? I'M PAID FOR THIS. >> Then you JUST SIR. >> OKAY. BUT YOU ARE not stop [clears throat] >> you're going to get >> Yes, it is. >> Give me this hand. >> Give me your hand. After being detained, the woman's hostility became even more obvious. Her attitude made it seem like she was very familiar with dealing with officers. Perhaps believing she could prove her innocence through that behavior. >> Let me go, G. Let me go. >> Okay. I'm trying to tighten your handcuffs so they don't tighten up on you. >> I'm paying. Just Just chill out. Okay. I don't consent to any previously. >> Where did he go? with it. >> I in the in there. >> Are you looking at the proof of purchase? >> Seriously, you're overdoing it. >> My password is 0006 along with the proof of purchase. Please go to the receipt. Like youing tripping. >> That's the proof of purchase. I want to leave now before I sue y'all. For real. That's my proof of purchase. I want to go before I sue y'all. Get me out of these handcuffs. You tripping. >> Y'all tripping. It's cool. That's my poop person. There's no reason I should be in cuffs. So, can you look so >> Listen, the reason that you are in handcuffs is cuz you can't listen. >> Come here. Come here. >> So, can you look at the the documentation along with the food you purchase with the item that's purchased? >> Okay. So, we can go >> settle down. >> You can't just go walking up on people. You guys didn't do anything. You could have been out of here by now. You did this. >> He's aggressive. >> Ma'am, you said you were so showing me. That was your exact words. >> AFTER I PURPOSELY SHOWED IT TO YOU ALREADY, YOU ALREADY HAD MY PHONE. >> The woman's arrogant attitude quickly began to fade as police confirmed with the employees that her story was just a tactic. >> So, what did they steal? >> So, this cart, she tried to walk out with this car. >> Okay. How far did she get? >> Uh, in the vegetable where you saw her. >> Like, that's literally where we walked out. >> Okay. This she has a proof of purchase for. Do we agree on that? >> Yes. Yeah. She paid for this and the two uh banks. >> Okay. >> So, this she was in the vestibule. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um [snorts] Okay. >> And how much is the value of that? >> Oh, we haven't determined that yet. I can do that right now. >> All right. Right. So, you paid for this, but the cart of things that you were pulling pushing out the door when he flagged me down, you didn't pay for. So, that's the problem. >> Those things are just telling you. >> Okay. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> Where are we at? I have the item that I paid for. >> Yeah, but the stuff you didn't pay for that you walked past the last point of sale with are the issue. So those items in the in the cart, I expressed to him already that that had been already paid for. I had two separate transactions. He didn't give me the option to >> They're watching the video. You paid for none of that stuff at the selfch checkout. They're watching the video right now. The whole thing's on video. >> There. >> Let's go. >> The woman may have intentionally paid for only part of the items just to get a receipt, treating it as a safety net in case employees noticed. Now in the loss prevention office, she continued making excuses without shame after being caught. >> Okay, you're going to have then we have to take you to police department. >> Let me see my phone. My phone. I have my ID in the back of my phone. >> Okay. 520 on file. >> So what I was trying to explain to him before he started yelling at me was that my the rest of my funds he was bringing them. That's why he was at the front door. So the like the intentions still weren't my intentions. >> Excuse me. George 650 5169 5947. >> Yeah. >> So what [snorts] I was expressing to her is >> the gentleman was at the at the door to bring me the rest of the payment so I can get the rest of the items that were in the cart. >> Okay. Have a seat. >> Have a seat. Just have a seat. >> When he started getting argumentative, it made me not want to get the rest of the stuff anymore. I wasn't trying to leave with the items. As I previously stated, he was coming to meet me for for my wallet so I can pay for the rest of the stuff. Like you're you're overdoing it. Like I previously stated. Like you're overdoing it. >> Okay. Have a seat. >> I'm I'm I don't want to see it. My leg hurts. >> Okay. >> Can you remove the the handcuffs, please? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> You're detained right now. >> Okay. >> Her arrogance was on full display, and she showed no remorse. Even when her excuses became laughable, she continued using them to convince herself she had nothing to be ashamed of. >> Well, I really, you know, I don't have to defend myself on what my intentions were. If that's y'all's opinion, that's y'all's opinion. >> It's their opinion, not my opinion. Right. Asking questions right now, >> right? But I just But you didn't just hear what was stated. Like, it's very convenient for the vehicle to be there, but as I previously stated, the vehicle was there so he can meet with my pavement >> in a fire. >> You guys are so sarcastic and like full of it. It's like, you know, the it's no point of not being honest. You know what I mean? >> But here's the thing, okay? They have reason to believe that you were trying to steal those items, >> right? >> By the letter of the law, black and white, you did steal those items, >> right? It's as he expressed about the sensors and being passed the door. >> That's it. Done. >> Exactly. Fine. That's perfect. >> Period. So, if they decide that they want you charged, then it's up to a judge to decide if they believe your story or their story. >> Exactly. >> Adversarial court system. Exactly. >> It's a beautiful thing about the United States of America. A disinterested third party will decide your case. >> The other thing is I mean little bit of an issue with you out there and you're resisting of my >> commands to tell you to stop to sit talk to whatever. >> Like I have every reason to do that. >> Yes, sir. >> They told me that a crime just occurred. It's my duty to investigate it. You didn't want to go with the program. That's why you ended up in handcuffs. One cuz you came at me twice. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. I had zero intention of doing that. You >> sir, >> you escalated this to where we're at right now. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> All I wanted to do was hear your story and you not screaming at me and you couldn't do that. So, >> yes, sir. >> Here we are. >> Yes, sir. >> Have you ever been arrested before, ma'am, for anything? Even traffic? Anything? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. What for? >> I don't want to discuss that right now. Is that okay? >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft. A receipt for some items does not prove everything in your cart was paid for. Once the facts don't match the story, refusing to cooperate only makes the situation worse. Next, let's shift the mood with a woman who refused to pay $55 because her food had been threatened. >> So, while I'm outside, my food continued to get threatened. So, I called. I let them know what's going on. It's not the first time that this has happened. >> You rage baited the situation. >> Raised. I'm black just like you, girl. Ain't no race involved any of that. On the 9th of June 2026, officers were dispatched to a restaurant at an airport after receiving a report of a woman who refused to pay for the food she had ordered. When officers approached her, she was already prepared to confront them. >> I'm bringing this in so you could see this. >> Um, so some of the meal is still outside. This is my check. I'm going to explain to you. >> So you going to pay for the check? >> Um, yes. I need to I I need to tell you what's going on. >> I'm here just for you to pay the check. >> How you doing, man? >> Basically, what's your name? >> Officer Dast. >> Hi, I'm Nija. >> Uhhuh. >> So, basically, I came into PF Chains to get some food. >> Mhm. >> I was the only customer here, right? >> Mhm. >> And my food was getting threatened >> and way before I ordered my food, >> the they stated that my food was going to be tampered with, right? And >> who said that? They were number one playing alterate music and it was like somebody that stated it. >> Who said that? >> One of the staff members. >> Who? >> Well, I spoke to the waitress about it and the waitress waitress him >> and he apologized and he asked if management if they could fix the problem but management said they wasn't going to stop the harassment. >> So management said that they wasn't going to stop the harassment. So I asked >> what harassment? There's nobody here harassing you. So I asked to move away from >> So I asked to So I asked to move away >> and go outside, right? >> So when I'm outside, my food continued to get threatened. So I called corporate. I let them know what was going on. This is not the first time that this has happened. The last time my food was threatened on a property. I literally have documentation in my bag. I got >> Okay. You've been here for a long time. I'm the one that talked to you out over there. >> You've been listen to me. Listen, listen to me. >> Just because the music is loud doesn't mean they're trying they're threatening your food. Okay, >> I finished. >> She claimed her food had been threatened, but her reasoning seemed questionable, almost as if she was looking for an excuse not to pay. Even her attempts to resolve the situation only made things more complicated. >> What's your name? Who you in? >> Ron, since you know my name and you see it on my shirt, do you have some form of identification that I can know who you are? >> Yes. So, my name >> Can I get that? >> Yes, my name. >> Can I get your formal identification? >> Yes, you can. I just want to finish making my >> Okay, you can do that while you're there. I can listen. >> What's your ID? I just want you to be able to see my hands before I start moving. So, >> I can see your hands. I'm not worried about you. >> I would feel more comfortable to talk while I'm still. >> Well, well, get me the ID first and then we'll go from there. How about that? Do you have any kind of documentation with your name on it? Could you provide that? >> Um, >> yeah, like a piece of mail or something. >> I have my ID. I'm just trying to get it right. >> I spend 5 minutes with that, which you've been trying to provide. >> I know, but you're kind of also speaking with me. I'm here. >> Okay. So, I br you here because I didn't feel safe speaking to management by myself. Corporate told me not to speak to management by myself. It's a call. >> I was asking question. I was asking questions. I'm not just going to take your word on everything. I'm going to ask you questions and I'm going to I'm going to figure out what's the truth and what's a lie and go from there. It's like I said, I'm going to look at Veilance video. I'm talk to Joel who's the head cook. I'm going to talk to everybody. >> Thank you. >> So, you order your food at 10:30. Okay. You sat out there, then you moved that way. You kept coming back and forth from here to there to go charge your phone. The other officer and myself encountered you outside over there and we told you that you cannot leave your stuff be uh behind. You said you were charging your phone. Somebody was helping you and I got I got the video prior to this one that I made contact with you. Okay. If you don't remember, I don't know what to tell you. But right now, you have to pay this bill. >> Your bill is 5532. You have those bag. >> Could you provide that to Joel here? >> And you can see what you see right here. >> I need a copy of it. >> You'll get the copy once you pay. >> Where's my phone? >> My phone. Do you see it? >> The phone's right there. >> With a $55 bill, the woman was making things unnecessarily complicated. Once again, she even claimed she intended to pay, but said she couldn't because of an issue with her phone. So, I'm using Apple Pay and my phone just turned off and that's why I was out there because I was using a charger. >> So, my my my credit cards is on my phone. So, if you guys could provide me a charger, we can go. >> Jo, you got a charger? >> You have a charger? >> You got a charger for uh USBC? >> Android. >> See, USBC you have the reader cuz it's not going to have a lot. Let's >> press and hold the side button. >> Should be the side button here. Not that on the not on the left. >> Her phone finally turned on, but she still couldn't pay the bill. At this point, the officer tried to give her another chance by calling a family member to help. [snorts] >> This is Officer Graham with the uh Tampa International Airport Police. I'm here with your daughter, Deja. I'm calling to see you. Uh, your daughter says she could pay her bill, which is $55 and change, but her cell phone's dead. I just want to inquire if if not, you could pay it. >> Does mom say she got the main effect? >> She mom says that she is a dancer and that she should have the she hopefully she does. If she doesn't, mom can't help. >> Mom can't pay your bill for you. I know. I don't want to take you to jail. And if you can't pay it, I I don't want to be forced. You seem like a nice lady. That's a need some help. I don't want to take you to jail. >> I'm trying. If you cannot pay your bill, I will be forced to take you to jail. I have no control over that. So that's why I call ask your moms. I'm going to call her and ask if you couldn't pay cuz she i.e. it's been it hasn't been proven yet that you can pay. I'm trying to take care of you. >> So we need to figure out a corporate called this location because corporate state >> that's a civil matter I don't I only deal in criminal matters so you already talked with corporate >> corporate said to speak to management while present so they could remove the item off of the bill that was tampered with or not >> we review video there nobody tamper with your stuff nobody >> in the end her mother had no intention of paying for her either leaving the officer with no choice but to arrest her but what stood out most was her attitude afterward. >> Corporate literally said that they were calling the store to remove the bill due to >> that's it. We're done. >> We're done. >> I put your phone up. My food. We're done. >> Done with why. Why are you arresting me >> for failing to pay your bill? >> But you didn't give me a chance. >> I did give you a chance more than one chance. >> I even called your mom and ask if she could pay it for you. >> You race baited a situation. race. I'm black just like you, girl. Ain't no race involved any of that. It's a transaction. >> You're arresting me in corporate has a video of me being >> You agreed to when you came in here and said and ordered food. You agreed to consume their food and pay for their food. >> Eat it though. >> You ate some of it regardless. >> Two bites. >> Regardless, >> but you still don't have the means to pay for the two bites. >> Give me a chance to arrest. >> You know why you're arrested? >> Hm. wanted, >> but I didn't steal anything. >> Thank you, sir. >> Hey, you got you got the bill. >> I got the bill. I got everything else. >> So, why am I arrested? >> You know why? >> This way. >> And I'm not saying that like in a tragic manner, but being as though that I've been harassed here before, I'm 10 steps ahead of myself and of this situation. There's no point. And then once it's all said and done, who's going to get in trouble? In the end, the woman was charged with theft of [music] services. When you receive a service, refusing or failing to pay can quickly turn a simple situation into a criminal matter. Trying to create excuses or delay payment only makes the situation more complicated. Next, this man even tried to hide in the bathroom. >> What the turn around? >> See, I was going to be what you are when I was younger. On the 19th of May 2025, police were called to Walmart after receiving a report of a man concealing merchandise. But the situation would soon turn chaotic. First, here's what happened when officers arrived at the scene. >> Hey, let's go get on this back wall where I have a shot. Mhm. >> That's where the dog food and stuff is. Coming down towards uh Crafts. There he is coming back up. He walks the whole freaking store going. >> I'm assuming y'all are going to want to prosecute. >> Uh probably. Yes. I mean, I don't know what all he stuck in the book bag. The only thing that I saw I saw was the ground. Is >> he coming up towards the front right now? >> That's on the back. right in the back. >> Okay. >> He just went like arts and crafts. >> He's got on a burgundy shirt and he's got a green backpack thrown over his back. >> But I seen him with a pack of t-shirts. He switched out the pants because he had a black pair. He put that out, put the brown one in, dropped lotion and stuff all over the floor. Then he picked something else. Then he got another bag of like white t-shirts and stuff. went around the aisle and then he started shoving it somewhere. Then he's got food in his hand right here. I don't know what's wrong with it. >> Seven. That suspect's going to have a burgundy shirt, green backpack, and he's wearing flip-flops. >> He might. >> He's still in the store, but they've lost him trying to find >> he went in that back bathroom or t-shirts. >> There's a picture of him in the group chat. He's going to have on like black pants that say army on them and then flip flops, burgundy shirt, hat, and a green backpack. >> It's more of a Hispanic white male. >> But you saw concealment, right? >> Yeah. >> You can get me a good shot of his face. That would also help. >> Okay. You can see his face just blowing it up from that angle when he was shing. Is that your own? >> Yeah. The man was then reportedly seen entering the store bathroom where he was suspected of tampering with merchandise tags, prompting officers to approach and detain him immediately. >> What the turn around? >> Take this off. No, no, hold on. >> Crazy, man. >> Take it off. >> What have I done? >> Well, we will get to that in a minute. >> I don't care. Why are y'all treating me like this though? HOLD UP. WHAT? THAT'S UNCALLED FOR, DUDE. >> NO, you're trying TO PULL >> I AM NOT TRYING TO PULL IT. ALL RIGHT, I'M GOING TO PULL THE RECORDS. This is bull. I haven't done anything wrong, man. >> Where did the other officer go? >> They went out that way in the back. >> I haven't done anything wrong. Why are y'all treating me like this? >> This is bull [clears throat] the god. >> I know. You can keep yelling. It ain't going to change. It don't [ __ ] MATTER, MAN. WHY ARE Y'ALL I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE [ __ ] I DID, get arrested, [clears throat] YOU'RE TAKING YOUR GODDAMN POWER to >> I'm in DUI court. You guys 1026. >> I came in here to use the bathroom. >> Okay. >> What the [clears throat] damn wrong with y'all, man? What is going on? I WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S going on. >> Why are y'all pulling? >> Where's my phone? >> Let's keep walking. You want to catch an obstruction charge? This is how you CATCH A CHARGE. >> WHY ARE Y'ALL DOING THIS? >> THIS IS HOW YOU CATCH ANOTHER CHARGE. >> I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING. >> [snorts] >> The man was then escorted to the loss prevention office, shouting the entire way as if he took every glance from other customers personally. >> Hey, last time >> I have not done anything, man. >> This is why. Okay, can y'all explain to me why am I getting arrested? >> Keep walking. >> Why am I getting arrested? >> This is bull. Okay. >> Can you tell me what the I've done? >> No, you can't. >> Where's Tyler working? >> No. >> I want to know. >> Why am I getting arrested and being [ __ ] publicly displayed out here in front of everybody? Why is that? >> Yeah, you're making a bigger scene, man. >> I am not making a bigger scene. Y'all Y'all had me arrested in handcuffs walking me through goddamn Walmart for no [ __ ] reason. >> Explain that to me. I was in the bathroom using the restroom. That's all I was doing. >> Explain that to me. >> Explain it. Explain it. Can you explain it? No, you can't. This is [ __ ] I don't I don't get it. >> Perhaps this wasn't the man's first wrongdoing, which may explain why he showed no shame in denying it. Even when faced with clear evidence, he still tried to make excuses for himself. >> That's not mine. >> Smells like alcohol, breath. >> That's not mine. >> Pants. >> I came in, >> man. I got you on camera. >> Huh? >> What? >> On camera. You're doing for shoplifting and obstruction. >> Concealing pants. >> Concealing pants. I don't have pants. >> These right here. >> Those are mine. >> Yeah. >> I've been THOSE ARE IN MY BAG. THOSE ARE MINE. >> She'll show us exactly. >> I've had them. >> Let's go ahead and go through the bag when they're with me up there. >> Yeah. >> God, it's ridiculous. >> They're selling pants. [laughter] >> That's amazing. >> That's you. I was looking in my bag. [laughter] >> Do you see me putting the food short in my bag? >> Where's it at? I want to see I want to see myself putting in my bag. >> Where's it at? >> I was looking in my bag. >> Where has Oh, you got me. Good job. Good job. Good job. Okay. Whatever. Whatever. >> It's [ __ ] >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. Uh, what's your name, sir? >> What's your name, sir? >> We just need the whole community here is [ __ ] >> So, here's how it works. >> I can [ __ ] gangstalk. >> You want to listen? >> Gangstalking, man. >> You can be booked in as John Doe, but that means I will not check with you again until 2 days, which means you don't even get counted for the two days you're in there cuz they keep you in John Doe. That doesn't bother me at all. >> John Doe? >> Yeah, cuz you're not given a name. Well, who said they would give him a name? >> Well, he asked and he didn't give a name. >> What is your name? You did. >> Man, I'm in DUI court. I ain't got to say I ain't got to say anything else. >> Okay, now you're also being charged with obstruction. >> And we'll put you sit down until you uh >> all good here. >> You got authority. You can tell me >> y'all, man. >> Let's go. Let's go. >> No. [ __ ] Let's go. >> Do you have a hard road? >> Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. >> With the cameras showing everything right in front of him. His denials only made him look ridiculous to the employees and officers. Yet, he showed no shame. Instead, believing he was being unfairly targeted. >> This is [ __ ] man. I ain't done nothing [ __ ] wrong, man. It's actually easier. >> I ain't done in >> the future. Put him here. So you >> It's targeting. >> I'm a targeted individual. >> That's what it is. >> Straight hating. >> You are straight hating. I'ming chosen classy. >> You man classy. Who the [ __ ] you going to call classy? >> He's good this man. >> All right. Punk ass. >> Yeah, he man. It's because I'm I'm Spanish, too, right? I'm I'm Hispanic. That's what it is, right? It's because I'm Hispanic. >> You've been drinking >> and you choke, man. Y'all, man, bro, >> I don't give a man. >> You think I give a [ __ ] about this country? Y'all, man, y'all ain't [ __ ] I ain't [ __ ] did nothing wrong, man. Ying to >> Yeah, of course. He just told us. See, I was going to be what you are when I was younger. I'm 38 now. 39. >> In the end, the man was charged with theft by shoplifting and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Denying wrongdoing won't make clear evidence disappear. When the evidence is right in front of you, resisting and making excuses can only make the situation worse. >> Hey, stop. You have to roll over after. >> They laughed. They starved me. I think I drank my own piss at one point >> in a toilet. Yeah. >> On the 1st of October 2024, police approached a woman who was reportedly causing a disturbance at a Meer store. She had also been reported for suspected shoplifting earlier, but what happened next quickly turned into chaos. >> Lacy Pey. Hey, Lacy Py. Knock it off. >> Hey, you're going to go ahead and step out. Don't get your hands off me. Hey KCO off him. >> Roll his hand. We'll >> go ahead and figure it out in just a second. Okay. >> Nope. You're going to go ahead and stand this way. You're under. [screaming] >> Okay. Okay. I got it. Help. Help. Help. I'll get out. I'll get out. Sorry. I'm under. [screaming] Help. >> ROLL ON YOUR STOMACH. >> HELP ME. >> The dog. >> Your stomach, please. >> N dog. The dog. >> You see the dog? >> That's nice. >> WHERE'S THE DOG? HEY, STOP. Don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. >> I'm not going to hurt you. PLACE YOUR OTHER HAND OUT. >> Place your other hand out. [screaming] >> Okay. >> I have this hand. Get your cuffs out. >> Break my arm. Okay. >> You're going to be all right. Ow. Huh? What the? >> But she didn't stop there. She continued resisting being detained and even asked others to record the situation. But what she said next only made the situation even more confusing. >> Nit. Excuse me. Stop. Excuse me. >> Hey, stop. >> I need people up here to record this right now. >> All right. Let go of me. We're all recording. You're not recording. Don't [ __ ] touch me. GET THE OFF ME. >> WELL, you guys, >> I need military or something. You ain't a real cop, [ __ ] Cuz you did my hair. >> You did a job. >> Dream hair salon. >> Go ahead and watch out. >> Dream hair salon. >> Roll under your side. >> Did I just take you down? >> Ma'am, here's the deal. >> Are you a blue bag? >> Don't you know? >> Ma'am, be a squat. >> You can either stand up on your own or we're going to go ahead and put you in. We're gonna You can either stand up on your own and >> or you're gonna go in. >> Who has a daughter, >> right? She has a daughter and she lives and she lives with her sister. >> She lives with her sister. >> Okay, we'll go. >> Actually, she have four sisters, right? >> Four sisters. >> Ow. >> Yep. You're going to go ahead and stay right here. >> Four sisters. Daughter, husband. That's military. I forgot your name. >> That's all right. >> What is it? Can you wear your pants so cute with your butt? Your rockos, your coffee, >> your white t-sh tank top t-shirt. >> Your white t-shirt. >> The woman's behavior made it increasingly clear that something was not right. Yet, she continued to deny that anything was wrong. >> I have not been under arrest. I've been in a jail cell at the Nasquali Correction Facility. >> Nice. >> I had court today. That was false. It was a false illusion. >> Yeah. in November. >> N O V E M E R No, don't do nothing. Don't I'm My health is 100%. I don't need your medical. I don't know why there's medical here. >> Honestly, I don't even know why I'm on arrest. >> I don't even want arrested. >> What's your name? >> Is the first name? >> No. What's your name? >> Officer Cecil. >> Oh, Cecil. >> No, don't even. >> Don't even. >> Are you willing to stand up on your own? >> Huh? If you're willing to stand up on your own, then you're not going to have to go in the rap. >> Okay. Let go. Let go. Let go. >> I'm not going to let go of you. >> Let go. >> You can stand up on your own or you're going to go in the rap. >> I'll stand. >> I'll stand up on my own. Let go. Let go of me. Let the go of my arm. I No. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. >> Don't touch me. Don't Don't Don't. >> Here. I'm going to roll her towards you. >> Pull her away in the open space. >> Just watch. Watch for her head. >> That way. >> Thank you. your leg. >> You want to get >> Oh, >> now we got Officer Sanders. >> Will you go ahead and grab that and just bring it over? >> Because of the woman's uncontrollable resistance, the officers took measures to restrain her >> wrapping my ankles that he has. >> He's good. He can't hide his tattoos, though. His tattoos are the same. >> And I seen this man first. I thought I was pregnant with this kid, but it wasn't. >> Are you going to cooperate now? >> Van roll. Justin Van roll. That's who it was cuz he the night that I went to this yellow or double wire with his cousin Buzz working. They had a yellow. Joseph took me downtown. He actually took me to his brick house. I was really surprised because um uh he invited me over and then let me drive the yellow Corvette. >> Roll it up. back of that yellow in front of where Justin's uh sailboat was called at the Bud Bag Cafe on the bay. Man, my legs are so tight. They can't get tighter. Oh, now I'm going to go in a Looney B. Okay. Anyway, I was there. THEY WENT TO MY HOUSE and I drove his Ford F150 and it went blow go. >> I had a Chrysler trailer 2004 Chrysler 101 East. grandmother kept trying to cover my grandmother. I was like, I walked in the grocery and then I heard the stuff in front of DD. Would you guys be my grandmother that day? >> Her mouth never stopped talking, but none of her words helped resolve the situation. Even throughout her embarrassing parade, she showed no sign of embarrassment at all. >> You guys are good. You guys are good. Can I have my black sweatshirt? My uh military uh helmet. I'm wearing that sweatshirt, BUT PUT IT ON THE WRONG WAY. It's on the back and it is an Ariot sweatshirt XL >> black. >> That's why they're arresting me right now. >> Hey, stop. Let me show you you guys. This the sweatshirt I'm getting arrested for right now. Fred Meyer. Look how these people looking. Oh no. He's going to pitch my arm. Oh, here we go. Oh. Uhoh. Oh, all this went off. Huh? Which meatwag am I going to put in now? >> Yeah. Macy police. >> Look at all you guys. >> Oh, hey, my arms are hurting really bad right now. >> We're almost there. >> No, you're not. Hey, my arms are hurting really bad. Can you like let me rest for a minute? >> No. They're hiding HARDCORE. THERE'S A GOOD ONE OUT HERE AND I don't know what it is. Just Justin Vanderol. He had a yellow uh >> Will you uh the name Chevy Chevrolet? Make sure it's her. >> I don't know. He pulled up to Crawford with Justin Williams. Touche. Used to have a brick. >> Uh, it says yarn on it now. >> Anyway, I drove that Camaro that night. He went to the bar downtown. >> Justin left you there. Damn me. Go back. >> I'm never going to get my >> Van. No, no, no. That's not I was I was going to have to write it no matter what. But >> she then continued telling the officers what she believed was the truth. once again making it clear that she saw herself as a citizen with rights in a rather unusual way. >> I'm a Native American and I'm being held against my will right now. I was in a jail cell earlier today at Nquali Correction Center. >> So, she supposedly sprayed some >> I never got a rape kit done. >> Um, other than that, my beach is >> I have pisses all over my body. >> Working on getting a receipt right now. >> They laughed. They starved me. I think I drank my own piss at one point in a toilet. Yeah. Make sure you get that on camera. I'm sure they have that video footage, but I would love to tell you >> who's working. Is it Brian or is it only 360? >> Um, >> yeah. >> I can't tell you the name right now. >> Should be here tomorrow, >> but I can tell you love might be here tomorrow night, but I'll be here tomorrow. I love you, baby. >> I can tell you number eight. >> You guys have a non number. I can give you guys a holler tomorrow. >> Yeah. Well, our team is not working tomorrow. our Friday, but we can send a a community request like I think I have email address. >> In the end, the woman was charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer and theft. Refusing to cooperate can quickly turn a manageable situation into a much more serious one. Staying calm and following lawful instructions can help prevent further escalation. [music] >> I didn't do anything. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Stop. >> No. Stop. You stop. >> No, I'm going home. >> Stop. >> Okay. >> You're going to get tased. >> Okay. Okay. Wait. >> No. >> On the 4th of November 2022, police were dispatched to a mall after receiving a report of a woman with a history of six shoplifting incidents returning with similar behavior. When she saw the officers, she began running immediately triggering a pursuit. Stop. I don't. >> No, I'm not stopping, sir. >> No. >> No. >> I'm not stopping, sir. >> I didn't do anything. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Stop. >> No. Stop. You stop. >> Get your hands off of me, sir. >> No, I didn't do anything, >> sir. I didn't do anything. >> You're going to get taste. >> No, I didn't do anything. Sir, >> stop touching me. >> Stop. >> No damn in front of the food court. >> Give a hug. >> The food court. >> No. >> Stop. >> You stop. >> You're going to get tased. >> Why are you doing this? >> Because you shoplifted. >> I did it. >> I told you to stop. >> I swear I did it. >> Ma'am, >> I did it. >> Do not stop. >> I swear I did it. >> I swear, sir. >> Turn around. >> I did it. >> I told you to stop. >> That is not true. Please. >> I'm going to give you count. No, sir. >> No. I'm going home. >> Stop. >> Okay. >> You're going to get tased. >> Okay. Okay. Wait. >> No. >> Still resisting and denying everything, the woman gradually pulled the officer toward her car, even acting innocent while reaching toward the vehicle as if she was about to start it, forcing the officer to intervene. >> Let me sit down for a bit, sir. >> Stop. >> No. No. >> Nope. >> No. You uh >> stop. Uh-uh. Mister, >> stop. >> You've got to stop. Stop. Okay. Okay. I'm stopping. Here. Here. Here. >> Mister. Here. Here. Here. >> Stop. >> Here. Sir, >> I give her to >> Yeah. Can I get a Thanks so Okay. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Sir. >> Okay. Get >> Sorry. >> Do not move. >> I'm not the car is trying to go. >> Ow. >> I I won't do nothing. I swear >> you don't run from the police and then try and get in the car with them. >> No, sir. >> Give me that description of the other. >> No, sir. >> What the other one look like? >> I'm so sorry. >> I don't The other uh >> can >> I only saw her? >> Please. >> Like I live here. >> I won't do nothing. >> Stop. >> When I tell you to stop, that means stop. >> How are you? >> I'm so sorry. >> I'm just trying to get her to lock her home so I can call her husband. Ow. >> Her stubborn behavior and attitude made it clear she was experienced at dealing with officers, while what was found in her purse only made the evidence against her harder to deny. >> All right. >> Where's your ID at? >> Stolen stuff. >> No. Where's the receipt? >> Yeah. Your purse is full of stolen stuff. >> Yeah. So, >> yeah. >> I am God. I'm so embarrassed. >> I am so sorry. I am so embarrassed. >> Where's your car? >> My car's on the other side from the security office. >> Huh? >> Are you going to have somebody else transport or you transport? >> Yes. >> Yeah. If somebody else can transport it, it's cool. >> I'm so sorry. >> She dropped a bracelet over here in the parking lot. No, I mean sorry. I'm not saying I'm sorry. I apologize >> for doing that. >> Yeah, I'm good, man. I appreciate it. >> Somebody grab Well, I really do apologize. >> It's right there. >> I really do apologize. >> I'll go. >> Yes, sir. >> One by O. >> I apologize. 054. >> I think the only reason you stopped is because the the other other units showed up. >> You were trying to get in the car and leave. >> You're absolutely right. >> You're absolutely right. I'm not even going to stay here to keep on denying or nothing. >> That's the >> Please. She was then placed in the patrol car where she appeared remorseful about her actions. But was it genuine remorse or just an act when her later statements seemed increasingly hard to believe? >> I'm so terrible. I mean, >> why are you just stopped? >> Cuz I knew I was going to go to jail for a long time. That's That's all honest. >> It's shoplifting. >> I know. And it's that's all I've ever done in a wrong. >> How many times have have you been caught shoplifting and charged? Five five convictions. >> I swear. But it's the only thing I've ever done. I know. I I ask for forgiveness. But I don't mind. It's the devil's playground. And I should have never even been here. >> It's like you're playing Russian roulette with yourself. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You got kids? No. >> No. You married? >> Yeah. And my husband does not deserve this. It's such a shitty thing to do. I'm so stupid. I swear I'm stupid. This is so ridiculous. I hate myself for doing this. I do better. I can't believe it. >> You know, you you make bad choices. So, but you are going to jail tonight. >> Yes, sir. >> For shoplifting cuz both Claire's and um Spencer wants to press charges and I'll find out what the amounts are those of those are later, but and then also for felony obstruction. >> Oh my god. >> The woman knew what she had done was wrong, yet she did it anyway because she believed she was going to be arrested regardless. On the way to the station, she continued bringing up her family, seemingly trying to gain some sympathy. >> I think I'd rather be killed is around my husband anyways right now cuz he's going to be so upset and I don't blame him. My gosh, what an idiot. I am [ __ ] stupid. >> Oh, you're good. You need this. >> I keep my shoes off. I'll get your shoes here in a second. >> Where's your shoes? >> Thank you. The woman was charged with theft by shoplifting and felony obstruction of law enforcement. Knowing that you are likely to be caught does not make the consequences disappear. Trying to resist or escape can turn a shoplifting case into a much more serious situation. The >> manager, >> ma'am, that's it. >> Now, thank you. >> What are you doing? Can I go? >> You're not getting enough for that. >> I want a salad. Charge me with a valid wife out of Florida. >> On the 27th of November 2025, officers approached a woman at a store after she was reported for causing a disturbance. From the very beginning, she appeared to be in a highly unstable state, which quickly led to a very tense situation. >> They just want you out, ma'am. >> I don't give a take something to go. >> No, ma'am. >> What I got to do? >> Why do you? >> Because you That's why. >> Okay. >> I know. I have money. >> They can't Who's the manager? >> The woman was visibly irritated with the officer. All she had to do was leave the store and the situation would have been over. But instead, she made it clear she had no intention [music] of leaving without causing more trouble. >> Ma'am, that's it. >> Now, thank you. What are you doing? Can I go? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Thank you. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Yes, I do. >> What? You're being detained right now. >> I know I am. >> Thank you. >> What is your problem, ma'am? >> I hate everybody. >> 9429 bottle. >> Okay. Wow. >> I dropped it. Excuse me. >> I see you. I saw you. >> Now, how else would you grab [snorts] a wine bottle by by the neck? >> You don't grab the wine bottle, bring it up to your shoulder, and then throw it down. >> Oops. Oops. Oops. I'm sorry. Oops. >> Despite her unstable behavior, the woman continued to deny what she had just done. As officers escorted her outside, they also began questioning whether her erratic behavior was the result of intoxication. >> Have you been drinking tonight? >> No, I have not. >> So, why are you acting like this? >> Why do you care? >> Okay. >> Does that matter? >> Does it Does what matter? >> Does it matter whether I've been drinking or not drinking? Does it matter, >> man? I just saw you break a grab a bottle of wine. >> Does it matter? I just saw you grab a bottle. Why are you telling me >> that? But what I'm saying is doesn't matter. >> Yes, it matters. What's happening? Tell me. >> Doesn't matter. It's Thanksgiving. You >> stop. Why did you grab a bottle of wine and smash it? >> I dropped a bottle. >> You didn't drop it. You raised it up to your shoulder. >> Drop your shoulder is here, right? Shoulder. >> Shoulder's up here. You raised it and threw it down. >> No, you said raise it. Shoulder is going to raise, is it? >> Yes, it is. What? Come on. Let's go. >> No. >> Let's go. Let's go. If we going to the jail, >> you're not arrested yet. You're detained right now. >> Let's go. >> Okay. >> Let's go. You ain't saying [ __ ] to me. Let's go. >> I don't even know. What's your name? Is your ID in here? >> No, it's not. You and everybody look like you. >> No, it's not. >> What's your name? >> Cuz it's probably It's probably in my pocket. >> Where's What is it? >> This one? >> Is it this one? If it's not, then it's that one. Although she continued to deny being intoxicated, it was hard to believe her. At this point, she simply would not stop talking, constantly blurting out one incoherent statement after another. >> And you're not getting a felony for that. >> I want a felony. Charge me with a felony. >> Be wiping out on the floor. >> God, I hate you, [ __ ] I dropped it. >> Butter fingers. Oops. I dropped it. Oops. >> Dude, just take me to jail. Come on. Let's just go. Whatever you want to take me to jail for, let's go. bus. I just want to do it, right? I don't give a >> Who's your son? >> You don't know him? No, I don't. You're from Charlotte County, right? You're from Charlotte [ __ ] hole county, right? >> Do you know what county you're in right now? >> Charlotte [ __ ] hole county. >> Do you know where you're at right now? >> Point of order. Ahawa. >> Do you know what today's is? >> Yes. Thanksgiving mother day. Uh 11:27 you day. >> Okay. Do you know who the president is? >> [ __ ] you. That's who the president is. Trump dick. >> Do you have any thoughts of harming yourself or anybody? >> No, I don't. I want to harm you right now. I don't want to harm me. I want to harm you. I hate the police. >> Get the [ __ ] off. >> STOP. >> GET OFF ME. >> YOU'RE BEING DETAINED RIGHT NOW. >> My dog is going to eat you. I don't even know that dog, but he's going to eat you, man. >> I hate you. >> Okay. >> Why are y'all coming up in there? I'm going in there to pay for food. I have. Didn't they Didn't that cracker tell you I got food on on my account? >> Man, why do you see like you're so upset ABOUT THIS? >> BECAUSE I [screaming] ATE THE POLICE. >> OKAY. HAVE YOU BEEN drinking tonight? Are you taking any drugs or anything? >> Oh my god. >> Oh my god. >> Shortly after, another officer arrived to assist at the scene. The first officer went back inside the store to obtain witness statements from the employees about what had happened. Can you go ahead and give me like a timeline? >> Uh, he had a huge line. I walked over, there was a salad sitting there. I said, "Hey, what's this?" He said, "There's a lady. She doesn't really know what she's doing. I think she might be drunk." I was like, "Okay." >> She walked back around from the kiosks and grabbed her salad and put down a piece of paper. She was like, "Just these two things." I scanned them. She was trying to play with uh EBT food stamps. And the sub sandwich that she was trying to get was a toasted sandwich. you can't pay for hot food with food stamps. >> So, it rang up to like >> I don't even know 12 16 bucks or something like that. >> And she paid for it and it was a remaining balance to $8.99. I told her that. She was like, "No, just take it off." Then when I took it off, you have to remove the entire tender before you can take off the item. So, I did that. It put the money back on the card. And then when I took off the sandwich, she still owed the balance for the salad. So, now she had to swipe her card again. Um, and it was $6.99. And then she swiped her card too fast and it didn't go through. So then I asked her one more time to swipe it again and that's when she kind of started getting a rate. She told me that we were trying to steal $40 from her for a salad and kind of just like caused issues. At that point, Jesse tried to get her to go over to her or his register because I thought maybe my machine wasn't working or like it froze up. And then I let him handle it and I walked away. I was outside when they told me that there was a mess to come clean up and there was a bottle on the floor. So, I missed that end interaction, but I was there for like her getting upset. >> The woman was charged with disorderly intoxication and criminal mischief causing less than $200 in damage. Retail workers have the right to ask disruptive customers to leave, and refusing to comply can quickly escalate a situation. Staying calm and cooperating with lawful requests is always a better choice than letting emotions lead to criminal charges. >> Okay, there are the bags. Now, you see it's all right there. All right. Now he going to grab it, cover it. >> On April 26th, 2023, the police received a call from an airport reporting that a theft had taken place there. The suspect was identified as one of their employees who had stolen mobile devices from passengers at the location. Let another employee there explain the incident more clearly. >> Okay, so it's two temporary associates. >> Two what? two temporary associates who worked through me. Pretty much what happened was um the ladies reported their items missing and then we went through the cameras and we verified who it was. Um he's currently working on the floor. So what what we want to do is um we have permission to interrogate him the by the by the staffing agency. >> Oh, okay. >> And [laughter] um but we're we're scared that there might be like you know him trying to run off or >> Okay, I mean we can go back there with you. >> Okay. You guys actually saw him do it? >> Yes. >> So, three cell phones. >> It's three cell phones. It's uh her car keys. >> Oh, it's your stuff. >> Yeah. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Let me Can I get your uh You got your license and all that? >> It's in the >> Yeah, it's in the It's in um It's in my bag. >> That was in the bag. My car. >> Oh, the whole bag was stolen. >> Everything was stolen? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> Um she tried to track her phone, but the phones were turned off. >> You said three phones. >> Mine My mom's phones. >> Oh, okay. So, talks. >> Okay, >> I mean, >> okay, it's never ending. >> To further strengthen the witness statements, the police also collected additional evidence from the recorded camera footage >> or whatever. >> Then he came back and got it, went in the bathroom, put it all in one bag, >> and walked off. >> Is that him right there? >> Oh, he had came in yet. She's praying now. While she's praying, when her backs turn, you going to see him come in. >> There he is. >> Okay. >> There the bags. Now you see it's all right there. Right now he going to grab it, cover it, put it at the bottom. You see it's gone. That's his stuff right there where he hid it. >> Oh, covered it. >> Yeah, he covered it all up on his jacket. >> You seen him walk off with it? >> Yeah. Show again. >> He's fairly new. >> How long has he been working here? >> About a week. About a week. >> Oh lord. >> Yeah, it's he's new. >> You want us to wait? >> Huh? You want to swear? Okay. >> Although there was already sufficient information to convict the man, they gave him a chance to be honest, but it seemed he had disappointed everyone. >> Okay. So, we are going to interrogate you. >> We did have some items being reported missing. >> Um, we did go through cameras and we did see you take them. >> I took them. I didn't take them. I ain't had no. All I have is my backpack. >> Did you have a black hoodie? >> Yeah, I had a black hoodie up. It's in the thing in the on the floor. So, I mean, what I take? All I have is my bag and my hood. >> What color is the bag? >> It's black. >> Black? >> Yeah. >> When I see you again, did you take the item? >> No, I didn't. You can go check that camera again if you showed them. I don't have none of them but my bag and my black hoodie, which you see me on camera. So, how could I take it? When what? Take what? What did I take? I went Tell me when I went in the break room. I had a black bag and my hoodie in the break room, but I didn't take nothing. >> Okay. Yeah, because we did go through the cameras and we did see the bag being taken and it was kind of like wrapped up in the hoodie >> and whenever you stepped out the bag was missing. So, it was there before you came in and then when you left it wasn't there and you're the only one who did, you know, walk into that break room. >> Somebody walked in before me. Somebody was like it was like a >> somebody was sprinting. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah, we did see that. We saw that. But then you came after. >> Yeah. You you you walked back in after. >> No, I don't have none. You check check the bags. All my bags. I don't have none. Okay. >> Did you Did you ride with someone? >> No, I ain't ride with nobody. >> Did you drive? >> Yeah. What do you drive? >> Uh I walked to the car with uh one of my friends just, but I didn't drive nobody. Somebody drove me here? >> Somebody drove you here? >> Yeah. Okay. >> He denied everything without realizing that the police had already known at all. Watch the man's attitude at that moment as the officers laid out his actions and give us your comment about your feelings. >> So, when the first initial view, you come in there and you're looking through a bag. At the time, while you're looking through the bag, you're looking at the individual praying to see if she ever turns around. >> It was a gray and silver bag >> that you were looking in. >> You departed from the break room area. You ended up coming back in. >> At that time, your hoodie was off. >> You came in just your white t-shirt. >> You took that bag that you were looking through, that gray and silver bag, >> and you relocated to the very low shelf all the way on the floor. >> And that's when you covered it up with your hood. >> That's when you covered it up with your hoodie. >> Then you walked out. >> You walked out. And then you came in roughly about 20 about 20 minutes later, >> grabbed that item, bending over, grabbing that bag with your hoodie, still wrapped around it, disguising it, and walked out of the breaker. >> You would have seen me with wrap it up, though. Y'all had me on camera wrap wrap me up with a hood. >> Okay. So, you just stated that you put your bag on the very top shelf. You never reach to the top shelf. >> No, I'm talking about the second shelf. It's the same >> second from the bottom. >> That's the same. But that's the same shelf, though. >> No, no, it's the second from the bottom and then you put it on the bottom shelf. I don't have nothing. You can check all my belongings. I don't I don't have nothing. >> Well, the fact that you took a bag and you went and took it out to the car and the car is no longer on air. >> No, the car the car didn't land. The car never I never went to the car with my bag. You can check on the thing outside. I never went to the car. Nobody left. >> You walked in. You walked in here with the bag. That means you might that means you took the bag out the premises because when you walked in with Justin, we have on camera that you didn't walk in with. That's what I'm saying. But I never went to no car. Nothing. No name. Nothing. Well, you just said that on break that you that you somebody came by. >> Yeah, >> you're right. >> Somebody came by. I never went into the car with my bag. They he said that he made I left like the stuff left with the person where I never had nothing. >> He denied the act and mentioned that his friend was involved in the incident. Soon after that friend was summoned and at that moment the very details the police had been searching for began to surface. >> Uh we went on break like 65. >> Did he have a silver gray bag on him? Uh, >> anything walk outside? >> Probably like a Adidas bag. That's about it. >> Oh, what? >> Adidas bag? Like a book bag? >> Like a black one? >> Do you hand it off to anyone? >> Not that I know of. [ __ ] >> How long have you known him for? >> [ __ ] He just started. Well, I say I've been here for a minute. This type of [ __ ] don't never have never got pulled off the floor. Okay. >> Who's Stephanie? >> Probably one of them. >> Probably one of who? >> One of them. >> One of who? >> One of them. That right there. Cuz like I said, that bag wasn't his. >> That bag was what? >> That bag was in his locker. That's He probably put that in there. >> Alman, do we know the victim's name? >> Huh? >> That was inside of his bag. That's what >> that was inside of his bag. >> I don't know if that's the victim's name. >> So, how did that get in there, man? >> Somebody had put >> Come on, man. >> If it's in 155, bro, I never put that in my locker. That's the lock I put his in. >> You're saying it's Justin? >> I don't know. >> You're saying Justin put that in there? >> Listen, man. Be real with us, okay? Why is this in your bag? >> I didn't put that in my bag. >> Why is it in your bag? >> It's not. I didn't >> Why? >> Be truthful, okay? >> Yeah. >> This can go one or two ways, okay? So, why was this in your bag? I didn't put that in my bag. You keep saying it to us. That's not I didn't put that in my bag. We left. >> He still insisted that he was being set up even after the evidence was found. But the person he called a friend had already begun to admit everything. >> He took that like I ain't even going to play with your locker as well. >> No, that's that was the same place I had my other stuff. I didn't take nothing, bro. I didn't take nothing. You can check the cameras or nothing. Just I don't have I don't have nothing, bro. >> Okay. This is the first day you use his locker. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. He knows Stephanie, >> but he never he never uses never let Stephanie use his locker. >> Yeah, she didn't he don't let her use a locker cuz I'm the only one that used. >> So why was that in your backpack? >> Somebody had to put that in my bag. I didn't take nothing. I don't have nothing, bro. I didn't take nothing. >> That was in your bag, man. >> That was in my bag cuz somebody probably put it in there. If you see me on camera, >> I asked you if that bag was yours. You said yes. You opened your bag, started going through and telling us what was inside of it. I asked you for consent to search it as well. Just secondary search. You gave me yes. I pulled that straight out of the main compartment. >> That's That was not But that's in my bag. But that don't mean that I had it. I put it in there. You see me with that bag on there. You see me leave with it. Anybody could have slipped it. I left out. And I put my bag down before I left out. Anybody was y'all can't just put that on me and y'all seen me. Y ain't nothing. What can y'all do? >> Where's the silver and gray bag at? >> I don't have no silver and gray bag. Y'all found that with that in my backpack, but I don't have no silver and gray bag. Somebody could have put that in there. Anybody could have put that in there. Y How many people? >> So why would they why would they take that little coin purse >> and put it in mine to make >> put it in your backpack and then you relocate from the break room to Justin's locker? >> I relocated cuz that's why I grabbed my bag. I put it in that in that locker or whatever. >> You put your backpack on the top shelf in the break room. >> Yes. I got to redo the cameras again. Now y'all doing redoing cameras, man. The cameras show what they show. >> You you if you didn't see me you seen you didn't see me grab no bag. You see me grab my hoodie. Grab my beep. >> Immediately after that, the police decided to handcuff the man and prepare to take him to the station for further investigation. But it seemed he still had one more surprise waiting behind. >> Turn around. >> Dude, I thought you said you left this at home, man. You said you don't have your ID card. You left all that stuff at home. You're not allowed to carry your wallet on you. 42. I got one on foot. 42. I got one headed northbound on Valley View Road. >> Where? He's turning that way. >> 42 42 on Valley Ro. I got him right here. Stay on the ground. Get the ground. >> Do not move. 42. I have him right here by the side of the bridge. >> ATV. >> Do not move. The man was charged with theft of property, fraud involving the use or possession of identifying information, fraudulent use or possession of a credit or debit card, and escape while under arrest, a felony offense. A single reckless decision followed by lies and a desperate escape only deepened his downfall because the truth always catches up and running from it only makes the consequences heavier.
