You will not be leaving. >> I DON'T GIVE A [ __ ] >> STOP. >> MAN, I'm not even fighting. Yeah. >> AH! NO! MY LAWYER I'M NOT WITH MY MY CALL THE LAWYER. >> THESE WOMEN END UP lying face down on the [music] floor thinking they are fighting to prove their innocence while being arrested in the loss prevention office. But little do they know there are other stories waiting to unfold. >> cucumber onion and a tomato. Uh she just takes them down. >> So this is her right here. >> Okay. >> You see all the registers? >> Yep. >> She just come in. She makes that right. >> have a record at all. >> Okay. Sit down on your butt. >> Listen, I peed my pants in that store and the lady was being mean to me. She was being mean to me. Stop. >> Stop. >> All of that and more is in today's video. When shoplifters think they can outsmart CCTV. Starting with this woman who acts like a child when getting arrested. >> I tried to be nice. I told you to get off the phone. >> My mom's a captain of the police department. >> Mom! >> You're going to get a resisting charge. Do you understand me? >> I'm literally laying here. >> On the 8th of April, 2024 at a Walmart store, a woman secretly came here without her husband's knowledge to commit theft by skipping the scans of certain items at checkout. Although the value was determined to be $43.63, the act was believed to be intentional prompting deputies to be called to the scene. Here's what happened next. >> What is it? >> I didn't do anything. >> Good. Good. Good. You making him work today, huh? >> Yes, sir. >> Good. Good. >> So the the amount that was missed was $43.63 without the tax. So this item right here that's right on top of that other item never gets scanned. She just kind of holds it over it, scans the bottom item, then places it right here for him to bag. Uh I don't think he realized what all was going on. Um and I he went to go get the kids. He had to pick up the kids. That's why he's not here. >> Does it happen that way on every item? >> Not every item. Like for this one right here, they have six of them, they only ring up three. Now, she says it's because they were stuck together and they don't know that you can pull them apart. But, let me fast forward to the end cuz this this is the most obvious one. She has it stacked up on top of it. She's going to take the the hand scanner and only scan the top item before passing both items across. >> Is that your ID? >> Yes. >> Is it current? >> I'm married now. >> Oh, okay. >> It's an older ID. >> I got you. Is this uh your most current one though? >> It's not. So, right before here, I was actually in a car accident where I pulled the place and I gave my ID from the accident to here, I don't know what happened to my ID. >> Are you Are you a resident of Florida or New York or both? >> I'm a resident of Florida technically. We moved to Florida in August cuz all my family that lives here in Florida. However, we're having a house built in New York, so eventually we're going back. >> Okay, but you live here now? >> Yes. >> Okay. What she said showed that she believed she was a citizen with rights and that marked the beginning of her disregard for the situation. Shortly [snorts] after, while the deputies were handling the case, she continued contacting her family in defiance of their instructions. >> Show him right there for him to bag it. >> I see. >> Oh, I told them. >> He took that phone away from me, too. >> So, I was short enough that >> Can you step out in front of me, please? So, we got to ask you some questions. >> They're both here. >> Yes or no? >> You're going to put the phone down? >> Okay, well, hold on cuz they're yelling at me now. Okay. >> What is your name? >> Amber. >> Do you have a Florida DL? >> I'm sorry? >> Do you have a Florida driver's license? >> Yes, I do. >> Where is it? >> I don't know. >> Lose the attitude. Okay? >> You have one, too. With all due respect, I didn't do nothing wrong. I didn't say nothing to you. You have an attitude. >> What is your last name? Spell it. Okay, >> [clears throat] >> this deputy is the deputy in the case and he says he wants you off the phone. So, listen to him. Thank you. >> Yeah, she said her her said she got remarried or something and that that's not the right right name. >> Are you okay with her for 2 seconds so I can >> a cucumber, uh onion, and a tomato. Uh she just takes it from the dumpster. >> Right. >> The white onion and then the cilantro gets canned, but then the other stuff in there she never even bothers to take it out. I just didn't see the when you stopped her. >> Oh, when we stopped her. >> Yeah, yeah. >> Which entrance? Cross your It was right out here. All right. >> It seems that calling her mother was just another way for the woman to avoid taking responsibility for her actions, showing a clear disregard for the law. The deputies tried to warn her, but she only made the situation more serious. >> I told you to get off the phone. >> My mom's a captain of the police department. MOM! >> MOM! MOM! MOM! >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> I was calling you. >> Grab her. >> I'M NOT EVEN RESISTING. MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM, YEAH, YEAH. I'M LOVING IT. MOM! THIS [ __ ] MOM, CALL THE LAWYERS. THE ALLEY WAY HERE. >> APPLE 612, get back in here, please. >> I'm not even DOING ANYTHING. >> STOP RESISTING AND PUT YOUR ARM BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. >> THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING ON THE PHONE until I'm under arrest. >> You're going to get a resisting charge. You understand me? >> I'm literally laying here not doing anything. >> Put your arm behind your back. >> 497, I'm trying to get back in the door. >> Come on, Sarah. >> Thank you. >> Put your hand down. Move your hand. >> Mom. >> I'm not >> I'm resisting. Mom. Yeah, Mom. You guys are both on top of me. I weigh 130 lb. Mom. MOM. MOM. >> [screaming] >> SHE WAS FORCED TO LIE FACE DOWN ON THE floor with the stolen items at the center of the case. She began acting like a helpless child, calling out for her mother while the evidence of her alleged theft lay right in front of her. It seemed that nothing could make her show remorse at this point, and next, her victim act began to unfold. >> Okay. >> I don't need any medicine. I've been told it's okay. >> Do you want to sit up like an adult now? >> See, I can't. I can't. >> You can't sit up? >> Yes. >> Okay. All you all you had to do was get off the phone, all right? >> I'm going to have an ambulance come anyway. >> No, I don't I'm refusing. You can't put me in an ambulance if I refuse. That's >> I just need a hand to get her up. >> No, I can't get up right now. I need a lady here. >> Then I'm just like, I don't want an ambulance. >> So, I mean, an ambulance is going to come check her out. >> I know. This is all because she wouldn't get off the phone. >> Okay. Okay. You want to try sitting up now? >> I don't know. >> [clears throat] >> I don't know if I can. >> Well, we're going to help you. Ma'am, how old are you? >> I'm 30. >> 30? >> Yes. Yes. >> Ready? 1 2 3 >> I need someone to call my husband. >> Okay. >> I need my medication. >> Well, you can tell the medics about your medical related matters, okay? >> My medication, I think you can get me in >> Well, the jail does. You're going to jail, so If you cooperate from here, I might make a phone call for your husband to come take this stuff. If you continue to give me problems, I will not care. All right? Very simple. >> My parents were the captains of the police department for 30 years. >> Did you get a hold of her and put her on that, Christmas? >> No, because there was no record found for that name, so >> All right. Do you have a Florida DL? Or Florida D card? >> She kept bringing up her mother's position as a police captain in an attempt to intimidate the deputies. Perhaps she had been shielded from consequences before, and this time was no different, as her mother arrived with a barrage of questions for the officers. >> What shoplifting happened? >> Shoplifting? >> Okay, she says she missed a scan. >> There's video of it happening. Walmart wants to prosecute. She's going to jail for shoplifting? >> Is it shoplifting in what manner? She missed a scan, she took something with the scanner. >> She's going to jail for shoplifting. She's also She's also going to jail for resisting. She was fighting this deputy, all because she wouldn't get off the phone. She was asked to multiple times, would not get off. >> I was on the phone with her. >> I know. Then, she acted as if she was having a We had EMS come, check her out. She said, "I don't need an ambulance. I don't want to go to the hospital. This is stupid. I don't know why you guys had them come here." They checked her out, all her levels were good, blood sugar, everything that she could have possibly complained of. So, would you like to come inside to get her belongings? >> Yes. >> Can we just do one person? >> person. All right. >> Thank you. >> Can I have your name and shield number, and your partner's name and shield number? >> Yeah, W Holly, 6025. >> And your partner? >> Ethan Dennison. I don't know his badge number off the top of my head. >> We will get the rest of your stuff. >> You guys here yet to call me? You guys are really rude. >> Okay, well, let's go get your stuff. >> And another another two people in the car. >> In the end, the woman was charged with theft and resisting an officer without violence. Calling family members or invoking their positions cannot excuse unlawful behavior. When deputies give clear instructions during an investigation, refusing to cooperate and resisting arrest can turn a relatively minor theft case into a more serious legal problem. Next, two people involved in the same theft, but facing two very different fates. >> Years ago, like 5 years ago, but >> So, the issue that we have is we have to positively identify you guys. >> Miss Davis, why are you on here giving us fake names? >> On the 6th of May, 2026, a man and a woman were stopped by loss prevention after walking out of Walmart with a cart full of merchandise. The situation seemed straightforward, as several items were reportedly unpaid for, prompting officers to arrive at the scene. >> What's going on, guys? >> He said it was some six last names. I just told him we don't have six names. That was that. >> Okay, cool. So, their policy right now is if you leave the store without scanning stuff, you just got to go back with them to the loss prevention office. So, they that way they can identify you. If you guys want to go through the store, we'll go back in this way, and we'll walk all the way down to the office. >> I'll go. I'll go. She don't got to go. I'll go. >> So, what we're going to do we're going to do her. You can come along if you want to. Whoever put it in the cart. Who put it in the cart? Who put it in the cart? Perfect. >> one in >> I put it I put the water in the cart. >> She wants to scan it. >> You got to go. whatever you want. >> So, here's what we're going to do. Here's what we're going to do. Let's go back inside. Let's go back inside. Come on. There you go. We'll get this resolved really quickly. Have a seat on the bench for us, guys. Perfect. I got to come on. >> I'm just separating items. >> Okay. That's fine. >> So, one more >> Policy is, obviously, like I said, when they identify somebody who leaves the store with merchandise that's not been paid for, they stop them. >> This is a case of waters, he said. >> Walmart's Walmart, right? So, merchandise is merchandise. They're going to identify you. Guys got IDs on you? >> No. >> No IDs? All right. We'll work through that. >> Could having no identification be a red flag for criminals? This prompted officers to look for other documents to verify their identity. >> Hey, Lee. Uh do you have a driver's license out of a different state? >> No, sir. >> Only New York? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Could it be under a different name? We're not getting any record on that, even though I have the New York Washington DOL license. >> I've never had a license. >> That might be why >> You've never had a Neither one of you guys have had licenses before? >> Never in my life have I. >> No, sir. >> Anything with your name on it? >> No, sir. >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. >> When I was incarcerated a couple years ago, like 5 years ago, but >> So, the issue that we have is we have to positively identify you guys. When you guys are, you know, detained for theft, um we have to make sure that we know exactly who you guys are. The ways that we do that is we either can contact somebody who has a portable fingerprint scanner, who's going to do that. If they don't have that available, then we have to book you into jail, at which point they go ahead and they scan your fingerprints there. >> I have kids. >> I'mma take the fall for this, man. Whatever it is, let her go, man. >> It's That's not really the way it works with the with camera footage and everything right now, right? We have both of you guys participating in this, both exiting. >> We didn't be participating. I I did it. I did it. >> That's not Again, that's not how it works, man. You can't just take the fall just because you got in for the situation. So, we're going to try to do this as as quickly and as easily as possible. Is there anything that you guys can give us any information, any documentation at all? Okay. Yeah, I got you. So, just for again, for clarification, if you guys do end up going to jail, you guys will be arrested for a crime of theft. >> The man tried to take all the blame for the woman while also admitting that the theft had taken place. Although he appeared to be cooperating, he later admitted that he had lied about his identity. >> You know, you can't take the fall for it, but >> Did you Did you write down his name at first? >> Yeah. I lied about my name. >> All right. Let's go last name. >> Last name is Fett. >> Don't dig through your pockets, dude. Yeah. >> Do you got ID on you? >> Yeah, yeah. >> It's as easy as that, dude. Can I tell you something too, Lee? Or actually, what's your real name? >> My name is William. >> William? Okay. William. Uh do you know what providing false statements is to law enforcement? >> Yes, it is a crime. >> That's why I'm telling the truth now before this [ __ ] go any further. >> before it goes anywhere. That's all we're saying. >> Yeah. >> I'm I'm on my own recognizance. >> Cuz as well as the false statements, there's also obstruction, right? We're trying to investigate the thing of theft. So, we're >> We were trying to work >> Just grab everything. Handful out, handful out. All I care about is your ID, honestly, right now. All right. All right. Ma'am, you said Monica, you did you were not lying about your information? >> I'm fine. My name >> I was. >> Okay. That's fine. >> I ain't got no warrants or nothing. I did >> We just want to get you guys ID and get out of here. It's cool. Your New York It even has [music] like the the holographic picture of your face. William, what's her real name? >> I don't know her name. >> Monica. I'm going to be real with you. We're not worried about little warrants, but the longer that you draw this out, the more we're going to be worried about every little thing that you possibly have. So, it's up to you. It's your decision, right? We're going to let you play out and we're going to base our reactions off your decision. So, the longer that you go on with whatever it is that you want to go on with, the more we're going to be interested in everything. >> His cooperation helped move things along, and officers eventually decided to let the man leave after issuing him a trespass notice from the store. >> You give us took a little bit, but you gave it to us. >> All right, sign this. >> Thank you. >> So, it's trespass. It's on file with Federal Way Police Department. It's a thing. We already got a record of you cuz obviously you got some orders. >> Yes. >> Need a signature. This says you can't come to Walmart, this specific Walmart for 3 years or Federal Way Police Department gets involved. >> I thought it was a lifetime ban. >> Yeah, Walmart has their own. >> Oh. >> This is specifically for ours cuz it's in our city. >> Okay. >> So, there's double the record. >> All right. >> All right. Uh Latonya, clear no record still out of Washington and New York. >> Oh, wow. >> All right. >> I don't know how. >> Willie, let Willie get out of here. >> No, I don't I can't leave her though. >> You can. Go. >> [clears throat] >> You're no longer detained. Go. >> Willie. >> Go. Go. >> You're free to leave, okay? >> Go. Go. Go. >> Nope, leave the bag. Go. >> No, I need my keys. >> All right. So, now we're waiting on you. >> That's my name. That's my name. So, I don't see how there's no record of me. >> 2934 Male has been released. His A-number Well, we're going to go through the process which we already explained to them. >> That's fine. That's my name. So, y'all can look at that cuz there's no way there's a record of me in New York. >> As for the woman, verifying her identity remained a problem because the system returned no records matching the information she provided. However, some officers recognized her face from a previous case. >> I remember the whole case with Latonya who came out to Bonney Lake and took those kids from that dirty [music] apartment. >> You think so? You think that's her? >> Yeah, she's living in apartment 16 now. She's living in Bonney Lake. Remember those kids? Do you remember that day? >> Yeah, I do. You think so? >> I think I know so. >> Will you match that for me? >> I have the case. I have that case still. >> Yeah. >> Do you want me to go find it? >> Yeah. >> All right. Oh. >> All right. >> Maybe. Awesome. I appreciate you guys. >> After further investigation, officers became certain that the woman had been providing a false name, meaning she wouldn't be allowed to leave as easily as the man. >> Miss Davis, why are you going to give us fake names? Any reason? You just wanted to sit here extra long? Put your hands up and put your hands behind your back. >> You don't have to grab me so hard. >> Okay, I didn't even grab you hard. Relax. Okay. I don't know why you're upset with me. Okay. Okay. I just got to make sure they're on correctly. Can you relax your arm? Thank you. Okay, the more you move the more they're going to tighten. All right. I'll take you out to my car. >> Okay, I got my phone in it. >> Okay, I'm going to grab it. Yeah, the green one. Can you face the flag and widen your stance? >> Finally, the man was cited for shoplifting while the woman was cited for shoplifting and charged with false identification and obstruction of justice. Cooperating with law enforcement can help resolve a situation more smoothly, but lying about your identity only makes things worse. Even when trying to avoid the consequences of one offense, creating additional legal problems can turn a straightforward case into a much more serious one. Next, what happens when suspects evade the truth instead of cooperating? >> So he kicked my shoe. >> Nope. >> You got that on video? >> Yep. >> I hope you get really sick. >> On the 30th of March, 2024 at Walmart loss prevention staff noticed a female customer acting suspiciously and suspected her of shoplifting, prompting officers to be called to the scene. Upon arrival, the staff provided further details about the incident. >> All this? >> Yeah, so I prevented this first one that she tried to walk out with. And then um she grabbed another cart. She tried to pick similar items and walk out again. >> All right, so what are we reporting everything? >> Yeah, everything. >> Okay. >> She tried She attempted to walk out twice with merchandise. >> Okay. >> So this was you You stopped her the first time? >> Yeah. >> You went in there and checked her out. And then she did what? She came back in the building? >> She was going to leave and then she tried to walk out with all this stuff. >> So since I had her from square one, I had her selecting merchandise >> Okay. >> never paid for >> And then if I just go get her and just walk her straight to loss prevention. >> Yeah, just bring this back to them. I don't know why. >> What's this? >> It's in her pocket. I don't know why I can't see it. Yeah, I don't know why I can't see everything. >> This >> Both carts? >> Both carts. >> I want someone Vanessa Herbert >> She called Vanessa or Herbert at >> It turned out that the woman had already been caught by loss prevention once, yet she still attempted to do it a second time. At this point, the loss prevention staff had evidence of her actions. >> So how far in between like when you stopped her first time and then you stopped at the second time? >> I'll tell her I'll tell you right now, actually. Maybe 20 minutes. >> Okay. It is a little toasty in here. >> Yeah. >> I hear you. >> It's cozy servers. >> I'm sure it is. What did she say to you? And then? >> So, when I first prevented it, I'm asking like cuz I'm sitting in my office, I'm literally watching her. >> Yeah. >> I'm telling my door host, "Yo, double check her receipt. Like, >> And did she did she pay for some stuff or >> No, she didn't pay >> Okay, got you. >> So, she tried So, when I grabbed the There was two people at this door. I grabbed one of them to come in the office so I could speak to them. And I'm like, "Yo, double check her receipt cuz I seen her in Subway like putting her stuff in the reusable shopping bag." >> Yeah. >> So, I'm like, "Okay, whatever." So, as he comes in, she tries to go around the other guy and he like puts his body and stops it. So, I come out the office. I'm like, "Hey, do you have a receipt for any of the merchandise you paid for?" And she said, "Oh, I'm trying to look for it." Blah blah blah blah blah. I'm like, "Okay, so we're waiting, we're waiting." I ask her again. She starts getting hostile and then I'm like, "So, did you pay for your stuff or not?" And she goes, "Would you like me to pay for my stuff?" I'm like, "At this moment, no, I don't." So, I took her cart and she said, "I'm going to grab another cart and I'm going to shop again." I'm like, "Okay, that's That's fine." So, I I started watching her. And she's frozen. So, I started watching her and um she started selecting the similar merchandise that was in the cart. And she goes up to my door host and shows cuz some people have the receipt on the phone. So, they just show the phone like that. And so, that's what she did and she just kept walking out. >> And there was nothing on the cart. >> on it. >> Outside the store, another officer was waiting for a woman matching the suspect's description. >> [snorts] >> When approached, she immediately became agitated while insisting on her innocence. >> How you doing? Good. Um so, the loss prevention just called us. They said that you uh didn't pay for all your items. Do you have your receipt? >> Bro, I just showed him my receipt on my phone and my phone died. >> You just showed him the receipt on your phone? >> Yes, I just showed HIM THAT RECEIPT. >> DID YOU SHOW HIM THE receipt for all the items? >> And he was like, "You got it." MY PHONE DIED. I SAID, "I PAID FOR MY RECEIPT. I showed you in the day. It's a mo- it's a mobile uh Walmart thing. I showed him the day and I showed him my receipt. He said, "Okay, you can go." >> All right. Listen, we got to talk to >> showed him the receipt literally right there. I'm not >> You showed him the receipt? >> I showed him the receipt on my phone. My phone died. >> Okay, can you bring it up? >> MY PHONE DIED. I LITERALLY JUST SHOWED HIM. I SHOWED HIM MY PHONE was on 2% AND ALL. LIKE, I JUST showed him. >> So, right now he's just the LPO is saying that there were some items that are possibly unpaid for. So, we're just going to double-check with the cameras. >> At this point, Y'ALL CAN JUST KEEP THIS [ __ ] BRO. I'M NOT ABOUT >> Will you listen? >> I'm not going to do this with y'all. >> You paid for it, RIGHT? >> YES, I DID. BUT, >> LISTEN, we have to confirm because Listen, we have Listen, we have a call that said there were items unpaid for, okay? >> Okay, but if IF I PAID ONLINE, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE to the cashier and all that? >> Listen, you're not letting me talk. There is a very good camera system here, okay? >> Like, I'm confused. >> All right. Yeah, in the meantime, do you have an idea on it? >> NO, BUT WHAT'S YOUR You're You're saying it's a camera and stuff, right? >> Right. So, they're just going to double-check it. >> Okay, but listen, my my stuff is on the phone. >> Okay. >> So, how you supposed to know if I How do you know if I was supposed to pay for >> Because they probably have the receipt. Don't you? They'll have the receipt of your checkout, okay? They're going to pretty much backtrack through the store, make sure everything that you got is paid >> want this stuff to stay there, bro. >> Did you pay for it? >> Yes, I did. Actually, y'all can keep this [ __ ] BRO. LIKE, I'M NOT ABOUT TO KEEP doing this [ __ ] my [ __ ] Like, >> Listen, I'm trying to help you out here, but we have to talk to the >> why didn't y'all Why didn't y'all stop anybody else? Y'all just stopped me. >> Clearly, she believed the officers were deliberately targeting her and her uncooperative attitude only caused the situation to escalate further. What could have remained a simple shoplifting investigation might have been resolved by cooperating with the officers and clarifying the suspicions against her. Instead, her resistance only made matters worse, yet she now acted clueless, portraying herself as the victim. >> I'm confused if I'm under arrest. If I have any complaints why y'all still touching me? >> That's why you're resisting still. >> I'm not. >> You are. >> Y'all need >> You just kicked it off, TOO. >> CHOKING ME. I >> I AIN'T choking you. >> Bro, so this [ __ ] BAG NOT CHOKING >> YOU BREATHING? You choking? >> bag not choking >> I'm not choking you. >> You not choking me? >> No, I'm not. >> All right. >> All right. >> I I hear you. Can I have my shoes? >> Nope. >> I can't have my shoes? >> We tried giving you your shoes. That's when you decided to kick somebody. >> You did. Cuz he kicked my shoe, so I kicked him. The [ __ ] >> He didn't kick your shoe. He put it down in front of you. >> Cuz so he kicked my shoe. >> Nope. >> You got that on video? >> Yep. >> I hope you can really see. >> We really can. >> Uh-huh. Y'all done? >> Nope. >> You done? >> Nope. >> You done? Cuz you stopped me and you didn't even tell me what you stopped me for, though. >> Yes, we did. >> What you What you saying then? >> Told you you matched the description of the one that was shoplifting. >> Okay, but was I over here by a cart? >> Oh, yeah. >> I wasn't over here by a cart. >> I actually wasn't. I was waiting for my items. >> I was I was waiting for my cab that is right there. The cab I was walking to. And then y'all Oh, I'm going to arrest you. I'm going to arrest you. The [ __ ] Just cuz I matched a description. You know how many people had a black hoodie on? The [ __ ] >> It was a lime green. >> Uh-huh. >> Yeah, they just said lime green. You didn't SAY I MATCHED NO DESCRIPTION until I asked. >> The trouble didn't stop there. Throughout the search, her behavior only made the situation worse, further reinforcing suspicions about her actions. >> And who keeps touching >> Spread your legs. >> HE'S TOUCHING THE SAME [ __ ] AREAS WITHIN 2 MINUTES. YOU TOUCHED THE SAME AREA. DAMN. The [ __ ] Damn. >> Somebody's popping off. You put my arms down. Damn. The [ __ ] You put my arms down. Damn. Bro, MY [ __ ] FINGER. MY [ __ ] YOU'RE DOING YOU'RE OVER DOING YOUR [ __ ] JOB. THE [ __ ] CAN I HAVE MY SHOES? I DON'T NEED NO SLEEP UP. CAN I have my shoes? Can I have my shoes? >> They'll be with you. >> Can I have my shoes? >> You good? >> I'm good. >> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, and assaulting a law enforcement officer. Cooperating with officers and allowing the evidence to be reviewed can help resolve a misunderstanding before it escalates. Resisting arrest and using physical force can turn a relatively simple investigation into a much more serious legal situation, bringing additional consequences beyond the original suspicion. Before moving on to the next shoplifter, let's look at the chaos caused by Walmart's OWN EMPLOYEE. ON THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER, 2025, a work day at a Walmart in Illinois began with an employee found unconscious in the break room, prompting local officers and emergency responders to be called to the scene. But what they didn't know was that the victim would later become a suspect. First, here's what happened when the officer arrived at the scene. >> We're doing our job. We were called here because they were worried about you. >> Okay, that's fine. You don't have to but you have to listen to us. You were You were unconscious. We have to do an assessment. You're not going to the hospital. We have to go through a whole process to let you refuse. You don't need to be rude to us. We're just trying to do our job, okay? >> Okay. >> I did I'll call them. >> I'll call them. >> It works. >> I don't know what you're talking about. >> If you don't even know If you don't know then >> Wait. Wait. What do you got to ask me? What do you got? >> I'm going to ask you these questions and then that's it. >> Police. >> I hate dealing with I got to deal with all the time. >> Why are you doing >> It don't matter. It don't matter. Some of y'all business. >> What questions do you have to ask me? >> I don't know what you're talking about. >> I don't know what you're talking about. This meant she would not be leaving so easily. >> Go ahead and stand up for me. Turn around and put your hands behind your back. I don't know if that's If you look, I put both of them over the thing. Like I I don't That's not even my stuff. I don't wear that. I would not do that. I have four children. >> Her attempts to deny everything fell apart as she still refused to reveal her name. During the search, officers also found a bag of white powder on her which they suspected was drugs. But you would never believe the excuse she was about to give. >> So, a large bag of a powdered substance inside of your purse. >> show me? >> You can lift it. Just try like that. >> I'll lift up that and show her. >> What is that? Can you come closer to me? >> That's I don't know what the That's not drugs. >> Do you have any infants? Do you have an infant? >> Oh, no. I don't >> Any baby that has formula or something like that? >> No. I don't That's not drugs. There's no way that could I What is that? Go look at it. It's right on the >> I will Okay. We'll We'll do our investigation. >> Yeah. What is that? Oh, that's my ashes. That's my That's my baby's ashes. That's Those are cremation ashes. Please don't mess them up. >> That's not ashes. >> Please don't mess them up. Don't do it. >> Miss Amy, why do you have Narcan? >> Narcan? >> Mhm. >> Okay. I I always keep that on me. >> Why? >> Because I have to had about like three friends die that are very close to me from high school. You don't know. I've made sure I I try to give that to everybody. >> Just for precautionary. I I see. >> Yeah. >> Okay. When I and Officer Montas made contact with you and he attempted to put you in handcuffs and you pulled away from him multiple Hold on. You pulled away from him, you tensed your arms, and you made it difficult for him to secure you. That is resisting. >> You know what I was trying to give my sister was >> Two, when I asked your name when I asked for your name and you told I guess initially at CC's at CC's you told someone your name was Amy Foot. That's false identifying yourself. >> Amy Foot? >> That's what you told the officers at CC's. >> I thought she was saying tell nobody my name. >> You said Amy Foot is what the is what Officer Outlaw said. Then when I asked you to provide your name, date of birth to me three times and Officer Montas twice, you said no, I'm not I don't have to and you said I want to provide That's what you're being charged with. And depending on what that test score is >> to But you guys saw what I was doing. I would never try to >> Okay. >> So, over [music] just $3 worth of stolen merchandise, the woman had managed to pile on several more charges. But instead of showing any remorse, her entitled attitude continued as officers explained what she was now facing. >> Just so you know, you have three warrants so far. So far. >> warrant for what? >> For false IDing and failure to appear. >> Failure to appear for what? >> This is heroin and fentanyl. >> You're at what? You're telling me I have heroin and fentanyl? You're going to tell me my baby's heroin and fentanyl? No, wait a minute. Are you guys saying that my baby's ashes are heroin and fentanyl? There's no way in hell >> Ma'am, I hope for your sake that it's not. >> Go ahead and jot down whatever she says for further investigation. >> Are you guys trying to charge my baby my my baby's ashes with heroin and fentanyl? >> So, I can't switch with you? >> Is somebody trying to set me up? Like, what is going on? >> Yes, ma'am. Go ahead. >> Do you guys think it's mixed? Do you guys think it's >> Could be, but the I don't feel confident with the fentanyl kit. >> double check it? That is my baby. >> The woman was arrested on multiple charges after a $3 theft [music] led officers to uncover additional violations. A $3 theft was only the beginning because her refusal to cooperate and attempts to hide the truth turned a minor mistake into a much bigger downfall. >> Why are you starting to kick my stuff? >> Because I'm the high grade. I'm feeling my I need some water, please. >> What did I do? Please tell me what I did. >> Put your hands up. >> But what did I do? But what did I do? >> On the 11th of May, 2024, officers [snorts] received a report from Walmart about a group of people allegedly stealing merchandise to carry out fraudulent returns. One man reportedly managed to escape after successfully obtaining a $400 refund leaving three women behind. Here's what happened when officers approached the first female suspect. >> Yes. >> Put your stuff on the hood. >> For what? For what? >> If you resist, do not pull away. Put your on the hoods. Right now, you're just being detained. I'll explain, okay? So, don't freak out. Come on over here. >> Am I going to jail? >> Right now, you're being detained and we're just going to put you in the car cuz it's obviously super hot out here. And then we'll talk to you in a second. Sit down. >> mom's in there, bro. >> Hey, where did where did the other ladies you came in with? >> I don't know. That's why I'm saying my mom's in there. I don't want to be by I sit here by myself and they don't know. >> Okay. >> Cuz I don't I'm not from here either. I don't know where the other people are cuz they were here with us and they just left. >> Okay. >> Did they do something? >> All right, what is it? >> Like I don't understand what >> While the woman appeared confused, questioned the situation, and tried to shift the blame onto the people inside the store, her mother was approached as well. She immediately put on the same innocent act as her daughter. Don't go too far, Chloe. >> That's my mom. She's Chloe. >> Don't go too far. Don't touch your hands on anybody. >> Officer, I'm not. I didn't do anything, so why am I being arrested? I'm looking for my daughter. >> Your daughter's probably in handcuffs in the car. >> Okay, but I haven't done anything, sir. >> Hello. >> I didn't do anything, sir. Why am I being arrested? >> You're being detained for an hour. >> Okay. And where's my daughter at though? You know, we found her in >> What was your daughter wearing? >> She had a um >> I'll see. >> This wrist really hurts. It's like swollen. Can you see it? What the Where am I >> Hey Murphy, you reading? Did you say she had purple hair or heavy set girl on her right her brain? >> The third suspect was still nowhere to be found, so officers tried to gather information from the other suspects. However, it quickly became clear that they had no intention of cooperating. >> Hey, you don't even have the AC on. I can't breathe in here. >> Here you go, bro. Let your friends go. >> I don't know. I don't know. I've been in there looking for them. I was going to buy some stuff. I put my stuff to the side so I can find them. >> Hey, check me out. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. >> I'm not >> Stop talking. Stop talking. >> done anything though. Why am I in trouble? >> Are you going to listen or are you going to Do you want to go to jail? That doesn't mean you're going to jail. So I have the right to stop and search you anytime until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand those rights? >> What did I do? >> Do you understand those rights? >> I do understand those rights. >> Okay, thank you. All right, who else were you here with? >> The guy's name is They call him Slim or Justin. >> What? I can't hear you. Hey, I really need you to answer these questions. I don't have water here. What's his name? >> His biological name? >> Yeah. I could care less about his street name. >> We came over here because he came to pick me up from He And he said that he was coming to Walmart. I asked him to take me to the hospital or whatever cuz my daughter was with me. She said she was going to go with me. So he's like, "Okay, just ride with me first so I can go pick him up." And I was like, "Why?" And he goes, "Just in case I can't drive back." He didn't say exactly why. And I was like, "Well, then you're going to take me to the hospital. Just take me to the hospital." I don't even I didn't even involve him in anything. >> While the mother continued to deny any involvement, her daughter told a very different story. >> They do I don't know where she How she be doing it or whatever, but she goes she does this thing where she I don't know what a sea thing and then I don't know what the dude the dude would go inside and I guess he would turn something and she gets some money for it. >> So like he steals something and returns it? >> Yeah. >> So that's why y'all are here? >> No, me I just wanted to ride with them because I don't want to be there by myself outside. I didn't want to be I'm not stealing anything from them and I'm I'm anything. I don't even want to be here. >> Sign this form. >> What? >> Sign it. Why are you still kicking my stuff? >> Because I'm a high grade. I'm dealing with I need some water, please. >> Sign it. Are you on any type of drugs right now? >> Uh >> When's the last time you used? >> I don't use drugs. >> You're just going to lie to me all day today. >> I don't use drugs. >> You've never used drugs? >> It's been a long time. Not at my place. Over a year and a half. >> So, the last time you used drugs is a year and a half ago. >> Yes. >> Which would answer the question I just asked you. >> I didn't use. >> Sign it. Thank you. >> And I know my >> Meanwhile, officers searching for the third suspect finally got a lead when they learned she had tried to hide inside a restroom at a nearby store. Once again, the same [music] innocent act was put on display. >> Come out. I'm looking for the restroom. >> This is the sheriff's office. Come out now, please. >> I'm looking for the restroom. >> So, you got to listen to what we're saying to you. >> I'm looking for the restroom. >> All the way up. Step all the way up. All the way up. Step all the way up. All the way up. >> I'm looking for the restroom. >> Step over. Take your purse. >> What did I What did I do? What did I do? Please tell me what I did. But what did I do? WHAT DID I DO? I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. >> HEY, IRMA. I'm uh still the pink >> What did I do? What did I do? >> Okay, how about this? Where did you get that pink shirt from? >> Man, I've had this shirt. I've had I've had that shirt. I bought that right there, please, sir. >> Okay, you're sure? Where's the receipt at? >> Uh it's on What's in my Look at my bag. >> Which bag, ma'am? >> This one's not mine. This is the girl that I was with. I don't know where she went, though. >> Okay, your bag is this bag? >> Yeah. No. >> Which bag is yours? >> The two girls I was with. >> There's three bags right here. Help me understand which one is yours. >> I just put my clothes are bag. The two girls are with us there. I went and bought food for us. >> Ma'am, which bag is yours? >> were in the store, sir. She was like, "You got to buy me a bag." >> Okay, you're you're answering questions I'm not asking. >> My phone died, sir. >> Which bag is your bag? You said my bag. Which bag is your bag? >> Sir, can you please listen to me? I need to pick up the ball. >> Okay. >> The woman skillfully dodged the officer's questions and used the same tactic of shifting the blame onto others, but it was clear that she was not fooling them. >> This This furniture right here is a representative of Walmart and he's saying that you were on steal that this uh illegal item came from their store and you stole it. >> Well, I did not steal it. It was in my friend's bag. This is her bag. You can ask her. She's over there right now. >> Okay, so >> But >> You just stated that you have a receipt for that shirt. >> No, I did not. I said I have a receipt for the bag, the bag, the green bag. No, I did not. I said I have a receipt for the bag. >> This is going to be super annoying. >> But what can I do? They're not I have receipts for all my stuff. Sir. I have receipts for all my stuff. Can I have your phone, please? >> How you doing? >> Are you working Uber by any chance? Are you here to pick somebody up? >> Yeah. Brandon? >> You here to pick uh Can I walk Can I walk up? Um so some criminals are doing some criming and they're using you to try to help. Uh can I see the >> Go back Go back Go back. >> I don't know. You probably can't see us in there. >> No. That's weird. Oh my god, this thing I'm done with this job on Monday. >> Yeah, right. >> This is my final day. >> How do I get back to the messages? It popped over to this somehow. >> No, I erase. It erases. >> Oh, did he erase it? >> No, no. The Uber erases it for protection. >> Where Where's his account information? >> I don't have it. Well, let me see who it is. You just seen it. >> he knows what time it is. He just canceled the ride, but his name on the account was Brandon. >> That's Well, like uh >> Under pressure from the officers, the woman in the orange shirt admitted to several details that further confirmed the woman in the pink shirt was preparing to lie and cover for someone else. >> She smoke crack? >> Yes. >> You're all saying that you know the black guy. >> The regular guys? >> Yeah. And the two guys with the one with the freckles and the hat, that's the girl with the big titties. They're brother and sister. >> Aiden played >> Who was he with? They FaceTimed you? >> No, I swear to god I swear to god the two guys gave me a ride. I swear to god. You can look at the videos and say their you know their first name. I know their first name. His name is um Bryson. >> Try again. >> No, I swear. Bryson, that's what he told me his name was. They call him uh Breeze or something like that. That's his nickname. >> The Hispanic guy, right? >> Yeah. >> Uh he's dark skinned, yes, but I he's not >> Yeah, you said that's your brother. >> Who said that? >> Yours. >> Who said that? He He's dark skinned color? >> All right, so you were with Bryson. Who was the black guy? >> The black guy that's uh he's the one that gave us a ride. I don't know. >> You got in a car with some random people you don't know who they >> No, I the dude the Bryson guy I know a little bit but not that I met him a couple times. He gave me a ride. >> and his car so he's gotten in some random person's car you don't know who they were. It sounds kind of weird. Okay, but he's gotten in the car you don't know who the guy is at all. >> Well, I know the one I told you. >> Um I actually think so they're both saying that she's getting um somehow getting receipts sent to her from somebody at Walmart for the items that they come in and try to steal. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah, so we might have an inside person printing them and sending them receipts. So she keeps saying please show me the receipt. Uh please like let me use my phone to show you the receipt I have on here. And what is all supposed to do? Like honor the >> She thinks that gets her off? >> Yep. >> Can I say something real quick? >> Yes. >> You got $23 or 20 23 24 dollars in change in your purse. The stuff that we just walked back into the store to return to that money you stole. You had more than enough money for. You understand how stupid that sounds? >> Yes. >> Everyone involved was charged with grand theft larceny, possession of stolen property, and fraud. [music] The youngest culprit was the only one granted the opportunity for release on bail. The [snorts] biggest mistake was thinking that lies and shifting blame could protect everyone involved. Once the suspects began giving conflicting stories, each new explanation only gave officers more pieces to connect the entire scheme together. >> Oh, I know you. What's up? >> I know you, too. So, >> No, you don't know my last name. You don't know my full name, right? You don't know my last name by heart. You don't know who I am. >> On the 6th of July, 2024, officers responded to a Macy's after receiving a report of two teenagers suspected of shoplifting who had been detained in the store's loss prevention office. But the trouble didn't stop there, as officers also discovered another offense. >> If this is you now, um do you just want to do the digital statement form? I'll give you the isolation for a bit. >> Cool. You're new. >> All right. >> Oh, I know you. >> I know you, too. So, probably better than yours. >> Probably. >> At this point, just letting you guys know you're under arrest for a theft three. Um it sounds like you guys also had a bottle of vodka with you, so it's minors in possession. So, Which one are you? >> How cute. >> [clears throat] >> Which one are you? >> I don't even know. To be honest. >> Can you just give me your first name? >> Look, I forgot. >> Okay, what's your first name? >> No, I don't know. Ella. >> You want to open the safe and give them the alcohol? >> Mine's Ella. >> What's your last name, Ella? >> You don't know my last name. >> Is that your actual name? >> Oh, no. >> So, can you give me your real name? >> No. Okay, can you just tell me what I'm Am I going to go to jail? >> I don't know at this point. Based off your history, normally, just with theft three charges, just call parents, release you to parents, and then you guys are in contact with the police frequently, so I don't know if you're >> know who you don't know who I am, though. >> I'm not aware of who you're hanging out with. >> I don't know who she I don't know who she is. >> So, here's the deal. If you guys don't want to give me your name, that's going to be an additional charge. >> Okay. >> We'll go down to the department. >> You don't know my name, though. >> You'll be identified. Okay. >> I'm not going to Oh, this is my real name, okay? >> It seemed neither of them felt guilty as they both appeared to know that their age meant they would not face the same legal consequences. Worse, one of them acted as if she was already far too familiar with situations like this. >> So, one thing at a time. Just you need to pay attention and listen, all right? You need to pay attention and listen. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right at this time to contact a lawyer and have them present with you or anything questions. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before questioning. If you want At any time to exercise these rights not answer any questions or make any statements, okay? And then actually I do actually have to Since you're juvenile, anything you say can be used against you in a juvenile court prosecution for a juvenile offense. It can also be used against you in an adult court criminal prosecution if you're tried as an adult. Do you understand your Do you understand your rights? Do you understand your rights? Do you want me to reread them to you? >> [laughter] >> Do you understand your rights? >> Yes, I do understand my rights. >> Okay. >> Do you know who I am? What? Are you guys taking our money? It's in my wallet. I have a wallet. >> Are you going to stay seated? Are you going to stay seated like that, or do I need to put you Do I need to put you back in the handcuffs, or are you going to stay You're going to stay where you're at? >> The officers then delivered the consequences they had to face, but they still seemed to show little concern. >> Got it. >> As felony, or is it a misdemeanor or a misdemeanor? >> Mr. Morris, Officer Morris. >> Copy. What's up? >> Is trespassing a felony or a misdemeanor? >> So, if you trespass, there's trespass one, trespass two. That's basically being on the property versus in the building. >> In the building. >> Okay. And then, if you commit a crime if you commit a crime while you're trespassing, that's burglary, which is felony. >> $805.90 >> It's over $750. >> $805 >> Yeah. >> I don't see any felony level >> 6119(a) is PC 459. >> Burglary? >> Do you have a question? >> No. How much was it? >> Total theft? >> How much was the total? >> $805, something like that. All right, so what this is is uh Is it trespass four? >> Okay. It is? >> So, you'll be trespassed from the mall for 3 years. >> Is that really it? >> July 6th, 2024. July 6th, 2027. That includes AMC and everything. >> That's felony level? >> With the total value of the merchandise reaching around $800, officers had to document the case and take their photos. But apparently, getting a clear picture was difficult when they were not exactly willing to cooperate. >> You don't want a picture. >> I have to. >> You need to show him your face cuz you're trespassing in the mall. So, you can take your take a picture of you. >> Jesus. Excuse me? If we're going to play that, then this is going to go a whole lot worse for you. Do you want to go call a cop? >> If this is a picture, how would you Call me How about that? >> Cuz you're a cop, like >> I call You don't have to be like that. Okay, well, that's not respectful of you. That's it. >> Aw, this isn't respectful either. >> Take me out of my cuffs. >> No, I wouldn't get your cuffs. You're under arrest. Get the cuffs. >> This is not theft. >> Well, that's how they do it. it. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Aw. I was going to put it back. Excuse me? What's that SUPPOSED TO MEAN? THE WAY I AM? >> SHOWING NO concern for the situation, they only dragged out the officers' work while their growing boredom showed how little awareness either seemed to have. >> I like being watched. >> It's weird. >> Did you call my dad yet? >> Not yet. >> Did you call my mom? >> Oh, [ __ ] >> What'd she say? >> He's not going to get it. >> I didn't talk to her. >> She hates her. She hates She's watching the Super Bowl. With Christian and Keith. >> Can you please sit back down? >> No. >> You get Here's Here's what's going to happen if you don't. I'm going to put you in cuffs. >> Okay, I'm already in cuffs. Completely. >> Both hands in cuffs. >> be like this right now? You need to be able to Please, please just get up. You need to be able to fix Why is one getting out of the back? >> Can you just sit back? >> Can't see right through that seat. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Get back. >> No. >> Why? >> You've lost that privilege right now. Okay. >> [laughter] >> We're going to go out to the vehicle. So, please let me put you back in the handcuffs. Can you just stand up for me? You stand up. >> I can't. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> I can't feel that far. Come on, please don't. No, I was going to do it this way. >> You're standing up. Stop. Do you want to get a resisting arrest charge? Then stand up. >> Oh my god. >> Stay where you're at. >> Yes, I'm not >> Take your hand out of there. >> Both teenagers were charged with felony retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor. Treating a serious situation like a joke can only make things worse. Cooperating with officers is a much better choice than wasting their time or creating additional problems. >> I'm out of questions. Yeah, don't talk like that. Stop zooting me. >> YOU'RE DOING THAT TO YOURSELF. HEY, BEHIND YOUR BACK. NOW. >> On the 22nd of July, 2026, deputies were dispatched to a Duncan after receiving a report about a woman who had shown up despite previously being banned from the store. Deputies tried to convince the woman to leave. >> Hi ma'am, what are you calling for? >> I'm I got >> You don't know what I said. >> I know, I just forgot to get the Oreo donut. >> Do you have to get your ID on you right now? >> He's getting the donut. >> Okay. >> That's his job. >> It is his job. >> I used to do it waiting outside for him. >> I understand that, but now I'm asking you to leave the premises. >> It goes to my prescription. You understand that that is a massacre, right? >> Okay, let's wait outside for the donut. >> I have to pay for it. >> Okay. He's not getting you the donut. >> He doesn't work for Dunkin Donuts. >> He is >> He's in the diner. >> Yeah. >> Leave him alone, ma'am. That's on your conscience that you're killing somebody. >> Okay, I'll tell you he looks like that. >> Thank you. Worried about >> Okay, okay. Do you want >> about Don't worry about Milanis. [clears throat] She's got the >> Okay. You need to go all the way off the property, okay? >> Y'all friends got problems. That's why y'all dead. >> Okay. See y'all. All right, off the property, ma'am. All the way off the property. Come here. What's your name? >> I'm leaving, leave it alone. >> I'm making sure you get off the property. Slow down. >> Stop following me. >> I'm following you off the property. Once you're off the property, we'll be fine. >> The deputies followed her to make sure she actually left the property, but that seemed to upset the woman. She even began making unreasonable accusations. >> You're impersonating an officer. >> No, not at all. >> Leave me alone, I'm leaving. >> Okay. >> You're the one who told us to go back in there. I didn't need to go >> I didn't know they wanted you to leave. >> You do witchcraft. I'm Christian. I'm out Christian. See, I don't talk like that. Stop zooting me. >> Okay. >> To help Trump. He died, he died. He never should have been president. He's a loser. >> Okay, keep walking. >> Obama and Biden to ask me a question. Yeah, stop following. >> I'm doing my job, ma'am. >> Ma'am, I'm a teacher. We do not sin. Leave me alone. >> Okay. >> Stop following me. You guys are the ones who made me go there. >> Stop. >> A backup officer's vehicle was brought in to stop the woman after they noticed that she did not appear fully alert, raising concerns that she might not be able to walk safely. But that was also when she began making the situation escalate. >> Leave me alone. [screaming] YOU DID THAT. >> I DID NOT DO THAT. >> YOU GUYS do witchcraft. >> Put your bags down, please. >> WHY WOULD I DROP MY FOOD DOWN? THAT'S A MASSACRE. >> Put your bags down. >> See, you guys have to Don't touch me. >> PUT IT DOWN. >> DON'T TOUCH ME. PUT IT DOWN. I'm not putting my food down. >> I got it. >> Light her up with 32. Taser deployed. >> 444 7. >> 444 7 10-15 >> All right, let me call my lieutenant. >> The woman's coffee ended up being spilled, but strangely enough, after everything that happened, her attitude suddenly changed. She became quiet, yet still refused to cooperate. >> What is your name, dear? >> That's all you had to tell me. The owner business manager said that she'd already been trespassed. But she wouldn't give me her name to confirm. I was just in use of control, so I'm going to be late. I am. Wanted to get my coffee. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm out of breath. I just Taser wouldn't take her. So, but >> Yes. >> Kyle's going to be at headquarters waiting for her at GCC. Okay, perfect. I'll be there when I can. I need to go change my clothes. I walked in to get my coffee and she Some lady in there was trying to get her out and she walked out and then turned around back in. And then after she walked back in the other lady's like they said she's been trespassed so they didn't want her out in there so I was trying to get her out. I still just wish we would have met under better circumstances. That's all. >> you met, ma'am. >> Okay. >> The person you have a problem with did it to you. >> Well, then I'm glad I'm getting to meet you. >> It's an alibi this time. >> She appeared much [snorts] calmer now. But the woman still seemed unwilling to accept what had happened. She even bluntly refused the officer's help. >> I don't need your help. Sir, I don't need your help. That's fine. I can get up on my own. >> two three >> I'm not handicapped and I play all sports. I rock climb. I don't need help getting up because of the handcuffs. >> We're going to go and take care of you, okay? >> That's my personality. >> Actually, I'm so sorry. >> Yeah, the double lock will get >> Let's Let's try to just Uh double >> Double lock the handcuffs. That's more comfortable for you. >> No, it's good. Fine. >> Yeah, but we have to lock the slider. >> Yeah, we got to lock it. >> They're locked. >> Yeah, they're going to get tighter if we don't push the button on there. >> Yeah, there's a button we we need to lock on there. >> She was charged with resisting an officer without violence and trespassing. She later pleaded guilty to both charges with sentencing to be decided at a later hearing. Refusing to leave private property after being told to do so can quickly turn a simple situation into a much more serious one. Cooperating with officers could help prevent the situation from escalating further.
