PLEASE leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please leave please stop please >> stop now. >> Shoplifting does not discriminate whether rich or struggling anyone can fall into it. They arrogantly take items as if they were theirs. But the moment the police arrive, regret becomes inevitable. These are the moments when a woman treated Walmart like a free grocery store. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and sub cries. Starting with this woman who lied about her own identity. >> Ones like I said. So they still should be in that bag. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. 26. >> You're 26? >> Yeah. >> That doesn't equal 26. >> 24. On the 18th of January 2025, police received a report from Walmart about an ongoing theft with the suspect being a woman acting suspiciously. Upon arriving at the scene, police together with loss prevention staff observed everything via camera. >> So, right now, we only have on one, but she's dropping stuff pretty quick. >> Okay. So, I don't know if they have a look out outside, but there's this female and then there's another one, but someone here. >> Okay. Just her. >> Just this one. >> What she concealed? >> So, she had the blue buzz balls with her. >> Okay. >> And she went to one of our aisles and she only came out with that one, but she's getting ready to go right here. >> She still have it on her person or just in the cart? It's in this uh premator. >> Oh, okay. So, that bag was not that. >> I don't know. That's the other female. >> That's the other. >> We didn't get We didn't get her, but for her, [clears throat] we got that somewhere. >> Okay. And she still has the buzz balls in the >> They should be I didn't see her drop those blue ones, like I said. So, they still should be in that bag. The woman wearing a long- hemmed shirt tried to use it to hide her movements while concealing merchandise, but the color instead made her stand out. Her movements inside the store were also clearly unusual. >> That bag is empty though. Empty. Does look pretty full. I feel like catch them. She's the one that's lost right there. I didn't see consuming her. >> Pretty sure she did, but I consume. >> This is where she got consumement and she she was along that wall. Same thing. >> Okay. What was the pasta aisle? >> She had also buzz balls. The spoon holding my visual gun. Cuz remember when they met up back >> like that. >> Okay, I see you. Look right there. >> Restroom. >> They always go to the restaurant. >> Especially after they do it. Let somebody go to the restroom. >> We're still just concerned with the one in red. >> I'm Yeah, I'm concerned about that one. But she did have liquor and there was no lick in that basket when we got over. That's her. No, there's one in the bathroom with like a red blanket around her. She's all like, "No, I swear I was going to pay for this stuff." >> I have to put in my purse. >> Tell me I got >> You think so? She possibly had some in her purse, too. >> I'm pretty like 90% sure there there's stuff in there. >> Yeah, >> this both together. >> Do you trespass? >> Yeah. Trespass. >> What side are they on? Are they on our side? She's on register 7, so she's on grocery side. >> At this point, the woman had left the store. Police quickly approached her, ensuring she would not easily escape. However, this marked the beginning of her deceptive tactics. >> Did you mention that you have all those items that you didn't pay for, right? >> Besides Okay. What about you now? You have anything on your person? >> We were just hungry. >> Yeah. >> How do you spell your first name? >> M E L I. >> So >> So your first name? >> Melissa. >> No. No. Vanessa. >> What is it? >> Vanessa. >> Spell your first name. >> My first name. V A N E. >> Are you Lis? >> No. So when I asked you spelled Melissa >> I know my bad. >> No weird. >> She was unable to correctly spell her own name which raised serious doubts about the credibility of her statement and led police to issue a warning. >> I told you to be straight up honest. Okay. Um if you start beating on the bush and doing this false stuff that's not going to be good. Just give us your straight up name of birth and we could probably be out of here. >> Or I can take you to Border Patrol. We can fingerprint figure that out. Or I can arrest you, take you to the jail, and then when they figure you out. >> My name is Melissa. I'm Melissa Sanchez. >> Melissa Sanchez. Okay. How do you spell that? >> M. >> I'm sorry. I'm just getting nervous. Like you get nervous about >> I just want to get you. No, I know. >> I say you were just going to get to shoplifting, but now I'm considering. >> No, I'm sorry. Just get nervous. Like >> it's better just to be honest. You already got caught, right? >> Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry. I'm only sorry for lying in the first place. >> Well, regardless, you should have some kind of information coming back whether you've been in trouble or not. But you have been in trouble. You said you have warrants you already took care of. So, they should be coming back >> like traffic. >> Yeah. Well, that means you've been in trouble. >> Well, I'm check once there. It could be seen that the woman remained confident in her inconsistent statements which further highlighted the sophistication in her deceptive behavior. In addition, her date of birth also became a point of dispute. >> That's your right date of birth that you gave us? >> Yes. >> 96. >> Can you try her out of Arizona? >> Oh, the person. >> I'm sorry. >> Oh my god. 26. >> You're 26. >> Yeah. >> That doesn't equal 26. >> 24. >> See what I mean? It also doesn't equal 24. >> Oh my god. >> How old are you? >> Okay. Then you weren't born in 96. So figure it out. >> Stand up. >> You guys can't see my my thing. >> I know. Until you be honest with us, we'll >> Okay. >> Oh, now you're over it. >> Okay. Stop. Cuz I got my ID. >> Hold on. you. Now you have an idea. >> I can probably show if I go into my Google photos >> on your phone. >> Hold on. Hold on. Stop. Cuz I got to double or double lock. >> Please. >> So, how old are you? >> Hold on. Stop moving. >> We're going to find you regardless. Or you can go to jail. We'll put you under Jane Doe and then of course we figure out who you are and you stay in jail until that happens. I don't care. >> What's your name? >> It is 24. Not 20. 24. 26. >> She wasn't born in 96. 26. It's the year in 25. >> I don't know. >> You're born in 24. That doesn't make sense. >> I just You were born at 24 >> last year. >> No. >> Okay. >> Oh, like the year 96. I thought you said how old was I? >> I'm sorry. >> Hey, listen. >> I was freaking out. >> What year is it? >> At this point, the police decided to take her into custody. But despite her lack of cooperation, she still believes she could plead her way into being released. >> Let's go. >> Can I show her my Can I show you my ID through her phone, sir? >> Please. >> What? >> Can I show you my ID through your phone? >> Well, now you have an ID, >> sir. Please. >> Look, we've been trying to give you a chance upon chance and then >> Oh, I'm sorry. Please, sir, please look at me. Like, please. >> We're going to go over here. >> Please stop. Let's go over here. >> Please look at me. Can we just talk? >> I'll just show you my Instagram. Begging was clearly not enough. Her behavior began to escalate into increasingly erratic and suspicious actions. >> STOP. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop. Please >> stop. >> Please stop [laughter] resisting. Just stop. Let me just talk to you. Please stop. Stop. [laughter] Give me away. I swear. >> Please let me just get in. Do >> you know how worse you're just making this? >> Please let me assure you. >> Stop. Do you know how worse you're making this? >> Guys, please stop. >> Now you're going to get another charge. You're resisting. Now you are. No, you are going to go. >> So we'll just figure it out. We'll see if she chills. >> My leg behind hers. >> I'm not going to get up. I'm not going to do nothing. Please. >> All right. We're going to sit you up in bed. You better show up. or we're going to put you in a wrap and that's super uncomfortable. >> You're going to jump, so stop. >> Oh my god. >> Can I show you my phone, please? >> Are we going to sit up like an adult? Are we going to behave like an adult? >> Yes. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> You heard me. >> Hey, stand up. We're going to get an ambulance. Check check you out. >> Yeah. In the end, the woman was charged with theft, providing false statements, and obstructing law enforcement. The lesson from this case is that dishonesty and non-ooperation during an investigation only escalate a situation, leading to more serious legal consequences and loss of credibility. Next, [music] the woman even began acting childishly. On the 23rd of June 2025, police were dispatched to a Target store after the store had detained a woman for shoplifting there. Upon contact, the woman appeared confused by the officer's actions and even denied. >> Are you okay? >> Wait, can I call my dad? >> Uh, well, you can have your sister do that and you can call when you get to the jail. Okay. >> Stop. Don't make it. Don't catch another charge. Don't catch another charge. >> That's not high. >> Don't Don't catch another charge. >> I didn't do anything. >> No, she bought me those. >> Oh my go. >> Yeah, this is all good. Doesn't matter if it's your pocket. >> You got anything in the other pocket? It'll be so much easier if you say you don't. >> Wait. >> Okay, we're going to check. All right. You want to check that pocket? >> Well, I'm sorry. I don't want to go to jail. >> Oh, you should have thought about that. Even your sister is telling me outside that she's telling you how much of a bad idea this was and we should probably just put stuff back and leave. And you still did it. stuff. >> It could be seen that even her own family member admitted to her theft. So, there was no way for her to avoid being taken into custody at that moment. >> Um, >> wait, >> if you if you can just >> send a link and I'll put it in my name so we don't do so she can send a video. >> Can I call my dad? >> You're you're under their custody. >> Can I call my dad? >> You can when you get to the jail. Okay. And then your sister can also let him know what's going on. Uh, grab that green bag. That's sister's bag. Thank you. >> Thank you. She's outside. >> Where'd she go? >> She's around here somewhere. I told her to hang tight. >> I know she left already. I don't know. I told her bag was coming. I don't want >> Don't catch another charge. Everything seemed like it would end there. But the moment the patrol car door was opened, her uncooperative attitude became even stronger, making the situation more difficult for the officers. Please stop. Stop. Please sit down. No, >> they said that they call me. >> Please. Please. Stop. Now my boyfriend put your hands behind your back right now. I'm not playing. Just stop. >> You're not going to be there long. Just stop. >> Stop. I'm going to jail. No. >> It was her own actions that had put her in the situation she was in. Yet, she showed no remorse, continuing to act frustrated even while sitting in the patrol car. >> Yes. Until hell. Get my shoes on until Put your hands behind so it's not put that way. It stops. about to spend like a day or am I getting out? >> I I don't know. I would say you should be able to talk to a judge soon, but don't quote me. I don't work at the jail. >> Well, go find somewhere to charge it and then and then tell him that. Do you know what jail I'm going to? >> Yeah. County >> County. All right. I'll call you as soon as Call me as soon as you get home. Okay. I will. >> And I I tried to tell them it was my dad, but they kept blaming you. >> Doesn't matter. She was in possession of it. She was going to punch stuff inside of it. >> Taking my shoes. >> Yeah, I'm grabbing them. I want to put up front. >> So, if I do this again, I'm I'm going to the big house this time. I mean, next time. >> Dude, what? I'm sorry. I can't hear you. >> I said next time this happens, I'm going to jail for real. >> Yeah. I mean, you're going to jail for real right now. You're going to jail. I mean, but you're not going to be there forever. But if you keep doing this, you keep up on that street, then yeah, you're going to end up in the big house. >> Okay. >> So, maybe let's take uh sister's advice and not keep doing this, right? >> Okay. >> And you already knew cuz you told me there you were trespass. >> I did say she wanted to come here. >> But you don't. But you know your trespass. >> I know. >> So, hey, that should have been number one deterrent from coming here. >> But then to turn around and be trespassed and from and steal from here. >> Mhm. and not being your first time stealing from here, that's the reason why you're going to jail. Okay. >> The explanation of her wrongdoing had already been given. Yet, she still showed no sense of guilt. In fact, she appeared indifferent even to her earlier resistance when it was brought up again by the officers. >> Tell you what, this lady hit the student's name. >> I tried telling you multiple times, don't catch on. >> What does that mean? >> Resisting is a felony. >> Because you >> Huh? Because you fought with us. >> I didn't. I wasn't trying to. >> Yes, you were. >> Anytime that you make our jobs harder and you try to pull away from us, that's you trying to resist us. >> I told you multiple times just to take it easy and come in here. Don't catch another charge. But you you didn't listen. >> So I have a felony on my background now. >> Well, not necessarily. You're being charged with one. Whether or not the judge grant or whether or not you get charged with it is a different or convicted of it is a different story. >> Can you hear me? >> Do what? >> So basically cuz I'm only going to be in in jail for a little bit basically and if I do this again I'm not I'm not coming back out. No. >> So lesson >> lesson learned. >> This is a lesson >> lesson learned. use it that way. Unfortunately, it's a very hard lesson to learn, but at some point in time, we got to be responsible for our actions, right? >> What' you say? >> So, we're now we're currently waiting. We have to have a sergeant come out since uh the other officer had to uh take you to the ground. >> He's going to ask you a few questions and then uh we're going to head over. Okay. In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft, criminal [music] trespass, and resisting a peace officer. Lesson learned: ignoring storebs, denying clear evidence, and resisting law enforcement only escalated the situation into multiple criminal charges and more serious legal consequences. Next, the woman even sparked further conflict driven by her frustration with life. >> What are you doing? And I would have responded politely to her. >> Listen to him. >> You know how annoying it is that please no. Please, please, please, please, please, please. Please sir, please sir, please sir, please. >> On the 11th of May, 2024, police received a call from a retail store reporting a woman suspected of shoplifting. Upon arrival at the scene, a store employee came out to meet them. Let's see what unfolded next. >> She already started the big bag open. >> Yeah. >> Oh, I think she tore that bag open. >> Yeah, >> that might be what she done when she been in I think she's I thought I saw her tear that bag open. >> She did. She stuffed the little wig in there with the others when she came in with her book bag zipped up and now it's already so she >> in the book bag. >> No, when she came in her book bag was zipped up. >> Oh, now her book bag's unzipped. >> I think she might be be like, "Hey, take it back." But I know when she came in, it was it seems it had lock. Yep. >> Shortly after, the officers approached the suspect and she offered several justifications for her actions. Oh no. All that >> you do know >> looking at wigs. >> You tore it open >> so I can look at the wig that was inside of the bag. >> Yeah, but that's not what supposed to do. You can't open the merchandise like that. Cuz you know it's in the bag. Now if you don't purchase it >> and it's open, then the next person ain't going to want it cuz it's done been open and that's not the purpose. >> Why? So, you hadn't you hadn't put anything in your pockets or anything? >> No, I didn't. I'm sure the money I have to pay for and everything. I ain't doing this [ __ ] >> All right. >> I'm holding it so I can, you know, I buy a wig, you know. >> Are you going to buy that? >> Yeah, I have the I just showed you the money. >> Okay. >> All right. It's just that don't usually open up product prior to buying it, you know, unless >> those will be $7 a piece. >> Cuz I've seen you put that wig in that one. That is a problem with that. >> Yes, cuz it doesn't go like that. >> Then do not come back now because I looked and was trying to see. >> No, no, listen to them. calm down before you maybe try talking to the people your customers before you just call the cops. Say, "Hey, ma'am, I realized you did something." I talked to you and asked you about that. >> Technically, what you did is shoplifting because you >> How? Because I was looking how was it a wig? Like, well, am I going to buy a wig and I'm going to go to the restaurant? >> But you got multiple wigs, took multiple wigs, and put them in one bag. >> Yeah, I did. >> But that's You can't do that in the store. >> You can't temper with the merchandise. >> So, why don't you talk to the customer before? Although she admitted her wrongdoing, she claimed it was the employees fault for confronting her rather than her own. And she even continued to arrogantly wander around the store, forcing the officers to step in and warn her. >> All right, we just look from the store looking. I can't look at the merchandise. I can't look at merchandise. I'm banned. So now I'm banned from just looking at merchandise. >> I just want to have a normal conversation with you. Okay. >> Okay. Would you understand, sir? I've literally been banned from literally about smoke seven places just because I do something that one other person doesn't like here's a great thing to just get me banned. >> Don't make a scene in here and just calm down. Okay, listen to me. I want you to listen. Please listen. Okay. The reason that you get banned is from stuff like this >> because I was looking at the wig wig. You put another wig in one bag. >> Yes. And I was going to go up to the front and I was going to say, "Hey, I have a question." >> I was going to ask about I was going to ask about him. >> But it's the behavior. It's the things that you're doing in this forward. >> I'm putting it here. >> Put it here so I don't drop it. What's suspicious? >> The things >> I have a horrible breaking out on my face and it looks like >> No, that is. >> So, I'm covering my face. I have it set right here so I can drop it in the bag. You want me to do drop and put it inside my backpack so she [ __ ] and yells at me? What? Drop it and like continuously drop it in the thing over and over again like you know. >> Well, they got a job to do. They got to monitor this. >> She could have came and said she could have said something to me. She could have said at any point in time, "Hey, ma'am, what are you doing?" And I would have responded politely to her. >> Listen to him. >> You know how annoying it is to have like walking around with [ __ ] up haircut like [ __ ] up hair. You like to give store where the only $7 for week and I can't get that no more. Now she doesn't want me to come back cuz I was looking at the merchandise. She's ass like I'm looking at it. >> It was clear she treated the police as an outlet for her misplaced frustration. And because she refused to leave, the officers made their decision. I'm homeless. I just came here to wash my face. Look as clean as you do every day, honey. >> I plan on it. For what reason? I'm walking out. I'm now arrested. >> Yeah, because you didn't do what I asked you to do. >> I'm planning on it. Can I not speak to somebody? Okay. Wow. This is good. >> I apologize for looking at your merchandise. Having the money to pay, ma'am. >> I'm sorry. That's just business to you cuz I was literally just looking. I had the MONEY TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING. That's fine. >> This is why you got arrested for screaming. What the >> seriously? >> Are you serious? Because you have some >> She was rightly nice ABOUT IT. >> HOW IS THAT BEING NICE? SHE COULD HAVE TALKED TO ME AND SAID, "HEY, CAN you please What are you doing? You're not supposed to do that. Had a conversation with me." SHE HAD TO AUTOMATICALLY CALL THE police on me. I suspicious went looking WITH MY EYEBALLS. ME with my eyes. I put a wig in another bag because I was going to have to be [ __ ] I WAS [ __ ] ARRESTED FOR IT. >> I'm arrested because I'm upset. SIR, PLEASE JUST HAVE A CONVERSATION. You arrest me, please. >> Please just let me talk to you. Please, >> sir. Please, please calm down. >> Calm down and relax the door. >> But you WANT TO KNOW I'M NOT TRYING TO GO THERE. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. >> You don't know what Can you PLEASE LET GO OF ME? >> CALM DOWN. >> I WANT TO HAVE A BAD CONVERSATION. I won't go into the car. Let me just talk to you. Please. >> Please. You don't know what's going on IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. >> I GOT A PRETTY GOOD IDEA. >> NO, you don't have a clue. You don't have a clue. >> Her actions at that moment led to an additional obstruction charge. Yet, she remained unaware of it and continued to beg as if she were truly innocent. >> Please sir, please. SIR, PLEASE. NO. GOD, PLEASE. LORD, PLEASE. PLEASE. I'm so sorry. I'm so begging. I'm begging. I'm begging again. >> I beg you, too, to walk. >> I know. I was too. I should >> All I was going to do is criminalize. >> I'm sorry. I didn't know that. No. No. I'm so sorry. No. Please. I'm begging. Please don't sir. What? I believe everything in my Please, please don't please. >> Yeah, I'll get a bad Her please changed nothing. Even inside the patrol car, her remorse unfolded and she even tried to make herself appear more pitiful. >> Promise. I promise. Please. Please. You don't understand. I can't. Sir, please go. Please. >> Come on now. Stop. >> No, I can't. Please, please, please, please, please, please, I can't. >> I I was really nice and I beg you. >> I'm so sorry. No, no. Please, please. Seriously, listen to me. I'm so sorry. I'm going through I'm going through so much, sir. I'm going through so much. >> Oh, it didn't. Come on. Okay, >> sir. I'm going through so much right now. So much of my life. I just loed my [ __ ] up. I'm so I'll never I Please, you lose. You don't understand. I CAN'T HANDLE YOU. I can't handle you. I can't. I went through so I haven't seen my baby daddy in 3 days. I don't even know if he's alive. I'm freaking out mentally. I'm not all right. A breakdown yesterday changed my head. My haircut. I'm trying not to myself. Extremely suicidal. I was trying to get away so I felt pretty again so I wouldn't feel so bad and I could actually feel good again. I'm just people me. I'm just so tired of I should have listened to you. I should have. Please serve this community. Please serve him. >> In the end, she was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. A lack of self-control and refusal to cooperate can quickly turn a minor situation into serious consequences. Sometimes staying calm and respectful is what prevents everything from spiraling out of control. Next, this woman believes she had the right to steal. >> Oh, I can't tell. >> What town is it? entertain the table for nothing. >> On the 25th of October 2024, police approached two women at a shopping mall on suspicion of involvement in a shoplifting incident. Immediately, their denial unfolded in a tense atmosphere. >> All right, just to let you know, everything's being recorded. >> Okay. >> Okay. You guys have any identification on you? >> No. What's the problem? >> Okay, so we have a report of a shoplifting that occurred. >> Went home now. We spend the money receive your receipt. Know about the wrong person. You can't check. I didn't >> before before we go through that. Before we go through that, do you have any identification? >> No. I didn't shoplifting from where? >> Yeah. >> I'll buy you in a second. For now. Right now. >> I'm leaving. >> Nope. Nope. You're not leaving. You You are not. >> All right. You're right. You're right. All right. You're right. >> Pull your bag down. Let me do it right. First name, last name. >> ID. >> First name. Last name. >> I want to know. >> Right now, we're investigating up top. >> From where? >> We have the right to know, right? I just gave you >> your date of birth. your social. >> I don't know my social >> your address. >> It was evident that no information was given easily and [music] in fact judging by their attitude they showed no concern whatsoever about the situation. >> We're doing our bestation. >> I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here standing right here. Name also have a social all the way >> 546. What's the >> Marina? Tango Alpha Sierra >> Hotel. M R A V L A last name R. One word. 671979. >> M R A V L A G6. >> Why you looking at me like that? >> Oh, I can't tell. >> What time is that? >> Elizabeth, New Jersey. >> [music] >> I'm not I'm not standing by THE WINDOW. >> I'M UNDER ARREST AND I'M UNDER ARREST. >> I don't have I'm not being detained for nothing. >> I don't care what you say. I'm not being investigated for nothing. If I'm not under arrest, I'm able to leave. That's the fact I am. >> The woman's evasive behavior led to her being charged with resisting. At that point, the situation grew even more chaotic as officers decided to place her in handcuffs. >> Yes, I am. >> You already take it. >> Take my bags. Get in my bag. >> No, I'm not taking your bag. >> Stop. Stop taking your bag. Stop. >> I'm not >> Stop the bag. Drop the bag. >> Drop the bag. Drop the bag. >> Drop the bag. It's not that hard. >> [music] >> Is it working? I'm being detained. >> All right. Search the bag. >> Search the bag. Is >> there anything on you that can poke me? >> No. >> Yeah. Don't touch this bag. This is MY BAG. YOU DON'T have the right to touch my bag. >> Mom grabbing me stranding me like I'm a man for y'all bugging. I'm not your man. You're not cooperating. >> I AM COOPERATING. I KEEP TELLING ME DON'T MOVE. I'm not moving. >> Can I please get my >> I am. Can I get Can I get Excuse me. >> Yeah. I'm trying to get on my back. >> As for the remaining woman, officers proceeded to search her to verify any wrongdoing. >> He just searched me. This is nothing. This belongs to me. This is mine. >> I just want to make sure. Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. Just uh check Pennsylvania ID2307102. He just my >> goodbye, man. You can take these. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You have a good day, man. Thank you. Um, he >> at this time the police also quickly reached a conclusion regarding the main suspect. >> What's the next step? I go to headquarters then I'm going to jail or >> No. You're going to get processed and then you're going to be released. As long as you cooperate. >> I am cooperating. >> No, you got to you got >> Let me tell you this. >> When y'all stop me, I stop. Correct. >> When you ask me something, I gave I I ask to search me. I let y'all search me. >> When once I went to GO IN MY BAG OR ONCE I START PACING BACK AND FORTH, HE getting upset. Oh, stay still. I'm nervous. I'm going to move. I'm hot at THE SAME TIME. I DON'T ALL RIGHT. Y GOT ME. I SAID I'M STEALING. ALL RIGHT. BET. I GAVE Y'ALL WHAT Y'ALL WANT. ALL RIGHT. THAT'S IT. He said this my name. No, this is my name. Cuz once he's seen the credit cards, I don't need a theft. You get what I'm saying? Hey, this my name. This my card. That's it. >> Okay. All right. This This officer is going to search you. Okay. >> No problem. >> I don't have nothing. You can search. >> All right. 10. That's what you're going to >> No, I gave her everything. They check all that. All my stuff is paid for. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. I ain't giving her no hassle. I'm letting her check me. >> I don't got nothing on my baby. Sorry. >> 19 to set up my car. In the meantime, can you uh give ID a call? I can't log off here. >> Finally, she was ultimately charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest. Evading responsibility and refusing to cooperate only made the situation worse, turning suspicion into real consequences that could have been avoided. Next, this woman wore a pile of gold on her yet still went [music] out to steal it for $3,000. >> So, it's $100,000. >> Your chains? >> Yeah. >> No, no, not yourself. I'm sorry. I I wanted to be clear. On May 5th, 2023, officers responded to a Sam's Club after receiving a report of a theft that had been carried out over 6 months by one of their own employees. To understand it better, they listened to the manager statement. >> So, I've got the associate upstairs with my market asset protection manager and one other manager. Um, >> how long was this theft over? >> Uh, like 6 months probably. >> So, it's 200,000. >> 100,000. >> It's a 100,000. >> Yeah. that we know of. >> Okay. Um >> we got video and everything >> of every incident or no? >> Uh yeah, pretty well not pretty much. Yeah. >> What may I ask what he was stealing? >> So there it's actually faulty refunds. So they were doing uh refunds at uh the register and overriding. So she had another supervisor's codes. >> Okay. and would do overrides and like >> for friends or >> uh no hers herself. She would load it on a card right there. You watch the video. >> Yeah. >> She does uh the transaction does it for $3,000. >> So it's a h 100,000. >> Yeah. Uh, K E O E R A >> D R A. >> Uh, breathing. >> Shortly after, the officers approached the suspect, she fully knew what was happening, yet still showed hesitation when answering the officer's questions. >> Hello. Come on in. >> Hello. How are you? >> What's your name? >> Kiki. >> Kiki with two K's. >> No. K. >> Oh, I won't I was going to sit here, but this is >> I know, dude. >> Miniature. No, I'll stay here. That's okay. Figure the leg. >> Where are you from? >> Indian town. >> Indian town. That's where you currently live? >> No, I stay in Fort Pierce. >> Okay. How long you work here? >> This year. >> Okay, that's not bad. I'm John, by the way, or Laviano, whichever you prefer. Do you know why you're here? >> Yes. >> You think? Okay, I'm not going to ask you any questions or anything like that. Um, I'm going to wait and see what we what we got and everything else and then we can kind of go from there. Okay. >> All right. So, >> I tell you this, no one's here to mistreat you. >> It is what it is at this point, right? So, as long as you stay compliant and that'll it is what it is, right? Your reason behind it is your reason. We'll decipher that down the road. If you want to talk to me about that, you're more than welcome to. All right. Is this your first job working here or? Yeah. >> You got kids? >> Two. >> Boys, girls, >> girl. >> They stay with you in four peers. Um, do you have your ID on you or no? >> No, it's not. >> Okay, not a big deal. Your first name is Kandra. >> Kandra. K O D R >> D R A. >> D R A >> D R. Okay. Middle name. And then last name is Breland E. >> Do you have anything on you that you shouldn't? >> Okay. >> Up to this point, the woman still appeared cooperative with the officers, but suspicion was raised. How could she afford the jewelry she was wearing, which officers had noticed during the search? >> You're good. I'll get that. >> Can you can you remove your vest for me? Uh, without exposing yourself, obviously. Um, can you can take it off? Take it off. Yep. Um, your chains. Can you pull up your chains? >> Yeah. >> No, no, not don't expose yourself. I'm sorry. I I wanted to be clear. Without exposing yourself, pull up your chains so I can just make sure there's nothing. There you go. And then turn around for me. >> Okay. I'm going to um ask you to take the um right pocket there. Take whatever's out of the right pocket and your cell phone, please. And then if you could, without overly exposing yourself, just lift up the back of your shirt for me. Thank you. Spin, spin, spin, spin. Thank you. Thank you. Keep spinning. Oh, okay. Thank you. And then what I want you to do is place your hands behind your back like you're praying, so to speak, backwards. Okay, you're good. >> You're good. I'm not trying to get your hair all all gross. You know what I mean? >> All right. Let me double lock them, okay? So they don't tighten up on you. >> The woman was handcuffed and taken to the station for questioning. Yet despite everything that was happening, she showed no sign of shame. >> Probably the majority of the day. >> Okay. >> So you're going to have to deal with that. >> All right. So we'll be good. If you need need anything, just let somebody know, too. I'm going go to the bathroom. Not not necessarily now, but like I said, no one's going to trick you bad or anything like that. All right. >> Very careful going down the stairs. All right. >> I don't want any accidents. >> All right. >> Hold on one second. >> Let me go a little bit before you. >> You know what? Looking back on this, I kind of did this messed up. I'll take the hit on this because I probably should have a pizza oven. >> At the police station, the interrogation with detectives took place where she began admitting to her actions. >> I just read that to you. >> Yes. >> Okay. You want to have a discussion with us? >> Got to verbalize. >> I don't I don't understand what's I've never been in trouble. >> Okay. Well, what I'm asking you is, do you want to talk about why you're here today? >> Um, >> and and the manager and >> yeah, they he was already up there. Um, and he went to talking and and he told me about why I did what I did. Um, and I told him, >> but what did he tell you? >> I'm cover. Okay. Um >> I mean clearly he brought you in and said we got a problem, >> right? What problem did he tell you that he had >> about being refunding? Why not so um help family out? Um even though I never benefited from it. Um >> so I don't know the whole specifics of this whole thing to be honest with you. I was at breakfast. So they called me up and asked me to come in and speak to you and text on that. So you were refundely taking the product or were you just getting the skus and writing the SKUs? >> Yes. >> Running the SKUs. >> Okay. >> So you didn't actually take the TV, but that's good though. That that's good because if you actually were taking the stuff then that would be a bigger issue. >> Good. >> So you were taking the skews off the thing and you were going over what what's your position at the store? parachute. >> The total amount was estimated at $100,000 over just 2 months. Yet, she claimed none of it was for herself, raising suspicion among officers about the true purpose behind her fraudulent actions. >> Whose card were you putting your money on? >> On debit cards. >> On your debit card? >> No. No, I wouldn't. No. >> Whose debit cards are you putting on? >> From my relatives. >> What's that? >> Relatives. >> So, they would give you a debit card and you would put money on it for them? So, there's a different debit card for every transaction. >> Not not many. >> Okay. Were they aware of what you were doing? >> Not. They just >> Well, they kind of had to be aware, right? Because they were getting money on their account, right? So, they would kind of have to know unless you were explaining something to them. Did you tell them what was going on? >> No, they just knew I was just helping them. They was in need and I've always has been genuine and have a gate of self. >> Well, I get it. Family first, right? Um, do you have an approximate idea how much money that you did this or how many items to a total? Does over $100,000 seem about right? Cuz those those are the transactions that they're supposedly have have pulled up. Did they tell you that? >> No, I didn't. No. >> Well, you might be surprised though because what TVs are 1,500 bucks or whatever a piece. >> It can kind of add up pretty quick, right? If you you did a 100 TVs. >> No. No. No. >> No. >> No. >> So, you'd be shocked that it was over $100,000? >> Yes, I would. Because No. Because I will be shocked. >> Okay. You didn't go to the back of the store and get that off the shelf? >> No. >> And then take and return it? No. To clarify further, the man was believed to have come there to return stolen merchandise and shortly after the money he had used to carry out the crime was refunded back to him. >> How much? >> $100. >> Yeah. Would have been a lot better. He also realized that he could hardly escape the charges and began bringing up his personal circumstances to seek sympathy. >> I just I come up here quite often. >> You live in my parents right up here. >> Okay. >> My kids live up here. >> Okay. So, you come to visit your kids or you come just to do this? >> I come to visit my kids. >> Okay. I guess >> I'll put in cuffs. >> Okay, stand up here. I'm going to take them cuffs off of you. Try anything stupid. I'm going to tase your ass. I'm just going to tell you up front. Okay. >> I don't have no problem doing that. >> I don't want to do that, but I will. >> Water. >> I don't have no water in here, buddy. >> I have a medical problem. >> Kind of medical problem. Now, have you se this gentleman talk? >> At this point, the store had already made their decision to resolve the situation based on what the man had done. >> Trespass from all Walmart properties, all corporately owned and filled. So, that's like Murphy gas station, Walmart, trespass. If you caught you, you be charged with criminal trespassing. That's good. >> All you need. >> Yep. >> Okay. You just get me a copy of the receipt and uh all that. I'll come back and get it. >> Yep. >> Bye, buddy. >> I need to get some numbers out of my phone. >> What do you think we Okay. Uh >> you cut them in the front. >> I'll put them in the front. And you look at the big guy like he was a little comfort uncomfortable there. Not even as he was being escorted away. I appreciate it if you char. >> Yeah, it is. It is. >> Even though it's a mism still. >> But still, nothing on you I need to know about. >> Okay. If you're going out of jail with something, it's a failing. You know that, right? And when you get out of jail, you have to have somebody come get your truck. You can't come back on the property. Okay. >> I got you. >> Are the keys to your truck? They're in it. >> They're in it. >> Yeah. >> Do we need to call somebody to come get it now? >> If I don't get out of jail, I'll call somebody to come get it. Okay. >> I've got to say the keys to it, too. >> Okay. >> You what? 709. >> You see that green F-150? >> What? You see that green F-150 with stickers in the back window? >> It's his. >> Yeah. Therefore, immediately after reading her rights, the officers still affirmed her guilt. >> So, I I don't need you to explain it to me because you're lying to me anyway, so it doesn't matter what you say. >> So, if she says it was hers, can I go? >> It's both of [music] yours. >> No, it's not. >> How? I ain't got perfect. I still got to check anyway. Take your word for it. >> Said 156. Am I right on that number? >> I'm sorry. What was that? >> 156. >> 157. >> The escape attempt by the woman in the blue shirt also served as proof that the theft had truly occurred. And shortly afterward, each suspect was placed into a patrol car without a trace of remorse. >> Good to get in. >> I don't know how I'm gonna get in. [ __ ] I just fell down the stairs two weeks ago. I was in the hospital. Hopefully, >> he was on like 5 minutes ago. He was in front of uh Mount Tacoma. Uh he said he's driving a Chrysler. >> Anything else for me? >> I really can't. We don't even have an option. >> Can I get another cuff? No. >> Uh, is it what? Like, your hands are behind your back. >> Like, I don't know how I'm going to be able to ride all the way down there like this. >> What's your I guess what's your um What's your What is it that's causing you an issue? >> It feels like my hands are losing circulation in them already. >> Okay. Is it too like your arms are pulled too far together? >> Yeah, I can try and get you one more, but I only got that's four cuffs. >> Yeah, I'm big. >> Okay. All right. Sit tight for a minute and I'll grab my another set. >> Hey, I can run them both down. >> What? >> Cuz I have all four of my cuffs are on her. So Oh, >> I I have zero cuffs. >> All right. Actually, we're on car. >> Well, can you put this hat on? >> We're going to go to a car that has no room. >> It's embarrassing. >> Can you put my hat on? I mean, no. Oh, well. In the end, they were charged with shoplifting. Denying the truth and trying to run only made the situation worse, proving that accountability matters more than excuses when facing the consequences of illegal actions. Next, this employee went on to commit merchandise fraud at her own store. >> Single. I can I can make payments. I can do a payment plan. Please >> we'll work something out with you. I have no control over that if they do. On August 1st, 2023, officers were dispatched to a Burlington coat factory after a fraud incident had occurred with a shocking detail coming from one of their own employees. Upon arrival, the store manager provided firm statements regarding the suspect. >> She was always the cashier. Like she was always given a discussion, you know, the other associates I haven't found anywhere there. She's just she's just the cashier. So, she's really committed to like $3,000, which is about what I came up with. Um, so minimum of $3,000 she allowed to leave this room by not properly raising it. Um, but I I put it on here like I kind of put this is her. So, she's responsible for I should say three grand. The other one from what I can see on the transactions, 16 of that is what this associate walked out. And this one here is like she recently >> that's just their names. I just had all the other names. >> But that person we have prison here today. She was involved in all the transactions. >> She was involved in all. She was the cashier. >> She was the cash. So she was like letting the employee leave with all those stuff. >> She would bring some of the stuff up. So it looks if it look it looks like everything's getting ranged, but then she instead of cashing it out, it would hit suspend. So it just suspends the transaction. But she still gave them the stuff and they walked down. They never paid for it. >> Immediately after officers approached the suspect. She knew what had happened to her, but she showed no shame. She immediately begged with a solution she proposed herself. >> Here to talk to you. All right. Deputy Frankie at the sheriff's office. >> Well, you unfortunately there's no choice. You're going tonight. >> Can I pay the money back, please? I can't go to jail off my grandma and everything. I can't go to jail. You got $3,100. >> I can play payments. I can do something. That's >> That's not on my hands. That's on them. But they want everything right now. They're prosecuted. I can't go to jail. I love my >> I know. I can't I can't go to jail. I really can't go to jail. >> I'm a single mom. I can I can make payments. I can do a clean. completely different opt >> right and I and I did this I know I know it's tough but I did and they you know it's >> Can you call them back and talk to them next week I can't go to jail >> I will I will call him back but I don't you know I don't know it's going to talk to him I can't go to jail I can't I can't >> I will I will I will call him but just talk to this guy on >> well first we're going to talk and then we'll go from there and just >> the woman only begged for her own situation, ignoring the issues raised by the manager. At that point, when officers attempted to refocus on the case, she showed no intention of resolving it. >> So, do you want to explain like like we have one that's on layway like what happened? What what happened here? >> I mean, were you ringing were did you ring it up and just let him walk out and not pay for the product? Is that what's happening? >> You tight and he's going to call corporate. So, nothing is official yet, but we are going to talk cuz >> So, they've got you they say about 31 almost $3,100 in items so far. >> But like I I don't even know half of them people. I told it might was a mistake for some of them. But they saying that the the receipt receipt came out after they put their card there and the receipt came out. I didn't know if I suspend it or not. I just explained that to him. Some of them people I don't even know. >> Oh, you explain. I don't understand what you mean by suspend. That's what I don't understand. What does that mean? >> So, like this one here has your name, right? >> Yes. >> So, this was a transaction for 13 items on the 28th. Right. So, and it says status suspended. What does that mean? >> The the transaction was suspended. [snorts] >> Okay. Was that a decline card or She kept getting distracted, showing that she did not know how to answer the officers, which caused her honesty to be questioned, and so did the rest of her story. >> You know that this that the that the transaction was suspended? >> Yes. >> Is that something you No. >> It's Well, this is >> she used one person used the card. She put her card in, but the receipt still came out. He said, "I put suspended." So the receipt still came out. So he's saying I suspended it and the items did leave the store. >> Okay. So the the the transaction was suspended. You knew it was suspended and >> not this one. It's another one that I knew was suspended. >> Okay. So regardless, how does it go and suspended? Is it because a payment wasn't accepted or there was no payment or is it something you have to do? >> You can press F12 F. You can press your number on there. Suspend it. Okay. So, that's that's happened. And so, you knew that this transaction was suspended for whatever reason. Then you allow the product to leave. >> I'm sorry. >> Not on all of them because the receipt will come out. If they put their phone right there, it won't tell me if it won't pay. It just a receipt will come out. >> Okay. But it does it always have suspended? I mean, every one of these receipts has suspended on them. >> That's what the system said. >> Okay. And I also have one here. I'm looking for it. That was a layaway that they came back in the next day. That layaway was then cancelled and then the product still left the store. >> So, I guess what I'm getting at here is um I mean you're no longing allowing this stuff to leave the store. Correct? >> It could be seen that she tried to shift the blame onto the customers for the suspended transactions, but she failed. The officers then directly confronted the issue of her involving others in her scheme. >> So, I guess another question is how do you pick and choose who you're allowing to leave without paying for product? Cuz some of these are some of the things are associates that work here. >> Two of them. >> Two of them were definitely associates that we know of. Um, is this something they do that they told you about? Because I mean they coming up to you asking I mean do you know them from like the neighbor I mean how do you know them are they didn't work? >> Two of them work two one of them I know >> that works here. >> Do you know prior to working here >> and then they did they tell you that this goes on? >> No. >> You ever been arrested before? >> No. >> You ever been in trouble? >> No. All >> [music] >> right. I know he's talking to some people, but as of right now, if this goes the way it is, it's it's a felony. You will have to take you if they do decide to prosecute. It's up to them. They could turn around and be like, "We'll work something out with you." I have no control over that. If they do, the only thing I would definitely be cognizant of is that this is a felony. So, they have a certain amount of time that they can report this without any repercussions. Immediately after, the officers escorted her outside the store and began placing her in handcuffs. Show us where your car is. One of us will take that out there and drop it off. Once you go to Micardo, we have to go in cuffs and then we'll give you a double amount and we'll transport you to our district 4. This is >> what's that? >> This is black Chevy. >> This black Chevy. >> All right. You want to give that keys? This is me right here. Try to make it as comfortable as you can, right? It ain't built for comfort. Hold on. We got one. We're going to double it up, which will give you a little bit more freedom. All right. >> With an amount of approximately $3,100, she qualified to be charged with thirdderee grand theft and scheme to defraud, facing up to 5 years in prison along with fines and probation. Admitting wrongdoing without understanding the consequences, and speaking without legal counsel can turn a difficult situation into a guaranteed conviction. Next, the woman looked even more pitiful as she tried to steal on Christmas. >> You're under arrest for like five counts of felony. >> Excuse me. >> For like five counts of felony retail. >> How? >> Merry Christmas. >> You'll find out you doing all this stuff. >> Doing what? >> That's called skip scanning. You scan one thing, put like three or more. >> On December 18th, 2025 at Target, a woman loaded her cart with merchandise and walked out with no intention of paying. But what she did not know was that police were already waiting to surprise her. This was what happened. >> Lindsay, stop. >> Jesus. Hi. >> Hello. >> Hi. You're under arrest. Put under arrest. >> How are you stealing? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You're under arrest for like five counts of felony yourself. >> Excuse me. >> For like five counts of felony. >> Merry Christmas. >> You'll find out. I >> I'm really serious. >> We will show you all the details. Let's go to the office. I mean, >> we literally watched you on camera. So, >> I I for what exactly? >> What's up, dude? >> Mhm. >> Let me see. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah, we will. >> Yeah, please. >> Do you have anything on you? >> No. >> Nothing on you? Okay. No pockets or anything? >> No. >> Okay, perfect. Go ahead. As soon as she was settled into her seat in the LP office, officers immediately laid out the long list of exploits she had committed, making one thing clear. She was far from a beginner. >> Here's the deal. Okay, you've been caught on camera since like September of this month, doing the $500 or $300 skip scanning stuff all the time. It's all on video. It's all documented. Hold on. We will ask you the questions and do all that stuff after the fact, but at this point, there is like five cases of retail cash felony level. Okay. Is your ID in here? >> Um, if my wallet's in there, I don't know. My wallet's in there. >> Are you? >> Yeah. So, we're going to go under the car where there's more cameras and more microphones. I'm going to read you your rights in the car so you know what your rights are and I'm going to ask you if you want to talk about this whole thing and I'm going to tell you the details of every single case that I have on you, >> okay? >> And the the dates, the times, the totals, all that all that stuff. I'll even show you pictures in videos of you doing all this stuff. >> Doing what? >> It's called skip scanning. You scan them one thing, put like three or more in a bag and vice versa. >> So, it's all on video. So, we >> we'll chat about it if if you want to. >> I need my you to call my husband and I actually don't want to. >> The woman stood there with her mouth hanging open in shock at what the police had uncovered. But let's see how she tried to make excuses for herself. >> I would have zero reason to steal. You know that, right? >> I'm assuming it. >> Everyone has situations in their life. I don't know what your life entails. is I >> there were I don't know what are the receipts >> that's one from this morning. Yeah. >> Well, there should have been purchase one and then a return one. >> This is the purchase in this one. >> There was a return. >> Yeah, that that was the other stuff. What's the conclusion? >> So, so there was an issue this an issue an incident this morning where I believe a similar thing has happened. I just haven't got those details yet to be able to confirm or deny what I'm being told by the staff here. >> No, >> you were here this morning. >> Yes, >> they said you stole stuff. I don't know what you stole yet, if anything. >> So, I want to find that out first before I even ask you about it. >> Since this is based on a lot of things, >> let's go take a seat in the car. We'll figure this whole thing before. >> Pay attention. She fell completely silent at times, clearly having nothing to excuse. Yet, there was no sign of guilt. Instead, she even tried to build a connection with one of the officers present. >> How do I know you? You ready? >> What's your name? >> Car. Do >> you have a girlfriend? >> Yeah. >> Her name's >> Yeah. >> He used to work. Okay. I think you actually came to my house for a wheel check actually. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Do you remember that? >> No. >> Let's go. >> Can I explain you that situation? >> Sure. We'll we'll figure this whole thing out. >> Let's just go sit in the car first and we'll get this whole thing. >> All right. I'm going to get you out of the rain first, but this it's nasty out here right now. >> I have a question. If somebody calls and says like what? >> I'm just going to double lock. >> If you lean on them, they might get tighter on yours, but you want that to happen. >> I mean, once I'm in, you can't take them off. >> That's We'll get to that. That's all the policy stuff. >> Hop in the car, take a seat. >> She'll want to go in and figure out the rest of today's stuff. >> You're good. I'll chat with her. The keys in there. >> Right inside the patrol car, officers immediately questioned the woman about each specific incident across different time periods. Listen to her answers and share your thoughts below. >> I'm going to start with the one on November 3rd. Okay. At about 10:30 in the morning. >> I mean, the dates and the times are not going to mean anything else. I'm looking at >> that would have been a a Monday morning. Okay. There was an incident here where you were reported to be skip scanning, which means you have like a product in your hand and two products in this hand. You'll scan one and put the other two in a bag without even scanning them. That's what they classify as skip scanning here. >> And that supposedly that supposedly happened multiple times and it's all been caught on camera. >> Okay. >> And the total that you did not pay for that day is $355. Are you >> That's That's exactly what the store has told us word for word. >> You have no idea what these items I mean that ton of money to not >> Yeah, I do. >> So that day was the Christmas tree day when there was a Christmas tree in your cart the entire time. Never got scanned, never got paid for. No, none of that stuff. There was a Wondershop branded item. I don't know what that is. And along with kids clothing and women's clothing >> and you're telling me all of these things were not sc >> correct >> which means they weren't >> correct. Okay. >> Okay. >> So that was that incident. >> I mean you don't have to go through all of these if this is what they're all going to be like. I number one have no way to no way to really you know the days and the times and what was purchased when. So, >> okay. >> Although the details of the incident were laid out, she still partially denied it. Moving on to the second incident, the same pattern continued. She still believes she pitifully was right. There was an incident on October 23rd when there were multiple things of PSD underwear taken, a Champion t-shirt, like the Champion brand t-shirt, and a Cat and Jack toy. >> Does that ring any bells to you? >> Wagon. >> What do you say, sir? >> I have all of those things. Not paying for them or scanning them or whatever is being Okay. I mean, I have Yeah, there's no way for me to know what you're talking about or how. >> Okay. So, >> so the total that day was 386. >> Okay. And there was one more. I'll I'll go over it with you just so we can kind of attempt to get some kind of understanding of what we're having to do. Um on [clears throat] so the 16th of this month so 2 days ago that was the biggest one it was 582 >> yeah which would have been on Tuesday of this week. It's Thursday right now. >> Okay. And that many items is what? >> Yep. Let me There was facial cream like a Peter Thomas branded facial cream. There were some lemi gummies vitamins. >> Are you able to see like what my credit card actually paid for? >> So I cannot see that on the like the law enforcement side of things. Um there there is a receipt. >> It seemed that because she had successfully gotten away with previous incidents. She felt confident she could deny it again. So the police decided to return to what happened today and the consequences that followed. >> We'll touch on this on today's thing in a second. Um, being the fact that we now have enough probable cause to arrest you for multiple cases of retail theft, we're also going to be seizing your car. Okay? We are required to do that by department policy, county policy. So, my partner and my other partner are going to go to your car, make sure nothing else illegal is inside of your car, inventory the whole car, and it's going to get towed. Does that make sense? >> Why does that? So being that you're >> So when you go into my car and see that there's no inventory that they are accusing me of stealing, right? >> You still tow my car. >> Yep. Right. So it's being seized with towed and seized because of your multiple retail theft cases. It doesn't matter if the propertyy's there or not anymore. The fact that you're the owner of the car and your car was used. >> Well, actually, I don't think I'm using this car. So >> is it Ryan? >> Pretty sure. >> Okay. Well, nevertheless, the car that you brought here is the one that's going to be getting used or seized. Um, if there is property in there that checks to one of these cases, it'll be then brought out and brought back into the store to be able to, you know, put them together. But at this point, that's what's going to happen with your car. Um, do you still want to keep talking about these cases? We can touch on today's >> I mean, I'm not I'm not sure for me. >> Okay. So, I I will literally tell you what I was watching on the camera, and we all watched on the camera. When you were scanning stuff today in the selfch checkout, you would have stuff in your left hand, scan something in your right hand, and then take everything together and put it in the bag. That literally happened. I watched it happen on the camera. >> Finally, the woman was charged with multiple counts of felony retail theft. Cameras remember everything, and denial never erased evidence. It only made the consequences hit harder when the truth finally caught
