My name is Officer Bailey with the Mesa Police Department. Today I'm graduating with class 62. Um today is a huge milestone for me and my classmates, but this is this marks just the beginning of of a long career hopefully for us. So all the successes and the um trials and tribulations that we've gone through through the academy is just a a testament to what we hope to do in in our communities where we um hope to protect and serve them to the best of our ability. >> I came into this profession not knowing what at all what to expect or what this would mean to me, but after experience and growth throughout this academy and what they've provided me with, I know and I'm confident that I will be able to serve the Mesa community. Our class motto is dominate with discipline and that meaning for us as a class is to develop that discipline throughout the entirety of our career and we started off learning that throughout the teachings that the RTO staff as well as our sergeant have taught us. >> And while we go out and we're serving and protecting the community, whatever we're engaging with the community, we want that to be a part of um what we represent. Um every time we wear the badge in public, that that's what people uh know and what they see uh that they can trust us and that we're going to do everything that we can do to the best of our ability with with discipline. Uh anybody that's looking to go down a road like this, it was truly life-changing and um I'd say it gets you out of your comfort zone and whenever you step out of your comfort zone, you'll be able to find where you can really grow. Um and for me and my classmates, I felt like we saw a lot of changes and growth in us and and now we're all doing things that um maybe we never even could have pictured ourselves doing and I know that's that's where I'm at today. So um this is truly a special day for me um and something I've I've been truly LOOKING FORWARD TO. >> CLASS 62 SAYS >> DOMINATE WITH DISCIPLINE.
