[music] >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Stop. Stop. >> Sir, >> no. I'm going off. >> Stop. >> Okay. >> You're going to get tased. >> Okay. Okay. Wait. >> Not every shoplifting case ends with a suspect simply admitting their crime. Sometimes it turns into a desperate escape attempt, intense resistance, or a situation so out of control that officers are forced to use a taser to bring things under control. These are the moments when entitled shoplifter gets tased after being caught red-handed. Have a great day. We are This is Law. Take a sip and get ready because today's video will be full of intense and entertaining moments. Don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoy this video. Starting with this arrogant woman. Here's how everything went wrong simply because she refused to give her name. I ain't got to tell you my name. Let's go to jail. >> Okay. >> First of all, >> on the 29th of August 2025, officers were dispatched to a grocery store after the loss prevention team detained a woman suspected of shoplifting. When they arrived, the argument between the suspect and the employee was still ongoing. >> Did I grab two? >> No, you grabbed one. >> It look like I grabbed two. >> You moved them around. I ain't move nothing around. >> You grab You grabbed your one >> cuz you can't move nothing around with that one in front. Did I grab two? >> There's a little bitty bottle right there in front. So, how did I move anything around? Let's play checkers and check. But if you want to call the police, go ahead. >> I mean, they're already here. >> Hi. >> Okay. Hey, let's go. Come on. >> Hold on. Just hold on. >> Come on. >> So, what you want? She did. >> So, >> she did pay for the tea, the lemonade. Actually, it's just a >> that none of that was paid for. >> Where is that? >> The camera for that >> that you didn't pay for that. >> You got your receipt on you. >> And since we I want to see all this for this, too. >> There we go. >> That's paid for. That's paid for. You paid for this. I watched you pay for [clears throat] that. >> Okay. And she said everything else cuz she stopped. So, I'm going based off her words and what I heard. I want to see that one. I want to see. >> She said, "For the stuff that you just have in your bag that's right there where I can see what she reach and I reach again." >> She just got the the buzz ball right now. Basically, >> she's got the buzz ball. She had the 3 hours here and other stuff. I'm going be honest with you, I'm not sure. I haven't had a chance to really go through the full footage of finding like the the item there. Um the nail stuff, any of that. I mean, she's got a collection of things in her bag that we don't have receipts for. >> Okay. Uh, so I was navigating the footage, but he ultimately wanted to see the footage and ultimately trying to deescalate any other circumstances and trying to, you know, >> the woman kept eating and drinking as if nothing serious had happened, treating the situation like a game. Her arrogance continued even when the officers seriously asked for her identifying information. >> All right. Do you have an ID or anything on you? >> No. Can I get your name real quick? >> I ain't got one. Give me your name or you going to jail? >> Let's go. >> So, what's your name? >> Oh, you think I'm playing? >> What is your name? >> I'm not. >> Why? Why do you want to be difficult? >> You said give me your name or you're going to jail. >> Why aren't you give me your name? >> Come on. >> What is your name? >> I ain't got to tell you. >> Why you playing all these games? What is your game? >> I ain't even got an ID. And I'm telling you the truth. Let's go. >> Then what is your name? You don't have to give me an ID. I >> ain't got to tell you my name. Let's go to jail. >> Okay. >> It was clear the woman would rather go to jail than cooperate or resolve the situation. As a result, the officers moved in to arrest her, but she unexpectedly turned the encounter into a chaotic struggle. >> First of all, >> stop. >> First of all, don't push my stomach. >> Stop. >> YOU JUST PUSH MY GODDAMN STOMACH. >> STOP. YOU JUST PUSHED MY STOMACH. >> Get off my stomach. >> Hit my radio. >> Get off my stomach. >> That side button. >> Get off my stomach. G >> 209. Could get another one. >> Get off my stomach. >> Roll over. >> Get off my stomach. >> Roll over. >> You just push my stomach in >> over. >> You going to I want you to Come on. >> Stop. >> Come on. Get off my stomach. >> The roll over. >> Roll over. >> GET OFF MY STOMACH. >> ROLL OVER. >> Get off my stomach. Please roll over. >> I can't breathe, you idiot. >> Please roll over. >> Get off Get off my stomach, G. >> Just roll over. >> Get off my stomach. Get all the way off. >> Roll over. I'm not on your stomach. I don't I don't want to do this. You just got on my stomach, G. And you pushed my stomach in the damn. >> You just pushed my stomach in the counter. >> You just stop. >> The officers were forced to draw a taser and warn her that the situation was escalating. Despite repeated warnings and a determined effort to resist, her defiant attitude never changed. >> Get off my ass, too, G. My mama. Get off. [snorts] You tired? Get off my stomach. >> Just move. >> Get off my stomach. >> Get off of me. >> Stop. Please. >> Get off me. >> Y'all want to play today? >> I ain't got time to play out here with >> I don't want to do this. Just roll over. >> Get off. >> Roll over. >> Get off. >> Hey, sis. >> Get off. >> Please roll over. >> Get off of me. >> Please roll over. >> Get off my stomach. >> Please roll over. off. >> Please roll over. >> Hey, listen. Listen. Just roll over the handcuff. >> Off my stomach. >> Roll over. You're going to get tased. >> Roll over. You're going to get tased. >> Roll over. >> It ain't work on that taser. >> Roll it over. >> Yep. >> I was going to look up. >> Hey, just >> you're going to get tased. Hey, listen. Tase me if you want. >> Hey, >> I want G on Joseph West. >> Oh, Sergeant G. I want you to do something about >> I swear to God. >> Showing neither shame nor fear, she acted as if she was the one in control of the situation. Even while being escorted outside, she continued shouting loudly enough to make a scene the entire way. arm. You breaking my arm. Not breaking. My arm is already broke. >> Your arm's not broke. >> Y'all not supposed to carry nobody LIKE THAT. LET PRESSURE OFF MY >> ME AGAIN. >> YOU BREAKING MY ARM. >> YOU BREAKING MY ARM. >> I got her. >> YOU BREAKING MY ARM. I GOT HER. HEY, chill out. Relieve. Press off. You >> get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> You going to push my stomach thing. >> Yeah. >> You know what? You know what? You guys did a good job, man. Seriously. >> Oh my gosh. >> Seriously. >> Hey. >> Seriously. >> All right. One of the officers returned to the store and spoke with an employee. [music] From her statement, it became clear that the woman's arrogance wasn't directed only at the officers. It had also been on full display toward the store staff and everyone around her. >> All right. Um, can you just tell me what happened? Like why you got called? >> Saw her in our department. >> Yep. >> Um, she had a lot of luggage, so I was kind of she grabbed a bottle of the Three Olives Whoopy Vodka off the shelf. >> Okay. >> And then walked with it out of the department. So, I just kind of followed her out and she zigzagged through the aisles. Um, and then eventually made her way up to the register and paid for juice. >> Okay. >> She didn't stay for the bottle. She put it in her purse. >> So, that was in her like the like that was like a book bag. >> It was in like a I don't know a large tote bag kind of that was on the back of her luggage. >> On the back of the luggage. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So it was in that and then that's when you >> and that's she checked out with your juice and then she left and that's when I come up and asked her if she had a receipt for the bottle >> and then she started arguing with me. She's like, "Well, what about all this other stuff in my bag?" And she started pulling out things and I said, "I didn't ask about any of those things. I just asked you about the bottle." And then she just kept arguing with me about the other things in her luggage in her bag. And >> that's when I called Chris over. >> Okay. >> All right. And then you took over from there. They were back here and then I showed up. >> Yes. Okay. Do you have an ID or can I just get your name really quick? >> Yeah, >> I can just get your name. It's okay. >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft, battery on a law enforcement officer, obstructing and resisting arrest. A confrontational attitude and refusal to cooperate can quickly turn a minor theft investigation into multiple criminal charges with far more serious consequences. Even more astonishingly, the woman remained calm and kept pretending to be innocent even after being tased. I didn't do nothing. Stop. >> Do nothing cuz y'all scared me. I scared I I Y'all scared me. I don't you I just I >> On the 22nd of February 2024, officers responded to a call from a Best Buy about a woman who had stolen a laptop. It was also the 16th time she had been caught stealing in Florida since 2011. As soon as she saw the officer, she ran, leading to a dramatic foot chase. I didn't do nothing. >> Stop. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Get on the ground. >> Okay. Can I have my phone? >> No. >> I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. >> There, boy. I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. >> Why'd you run? >> Cuz don't scare me. >> Don't scare me. That's not That's not from there, >> right? >> That's not theirs. >> Grab. >> It's not theirs. >> Stop pulling away. >> Okay. Can I have a cigarette? >> No. >> Please. >> That was scary. Can I have my phone? No. >> Did it hit her? She was extremely experienced when it came to dealing with officers. After failing to escape, she denied everything and she never stopped doing so. Even as the officers tried to identify her, I didn't do anything. >> Let me go grab my barb remover. >> Yeah, I didn't do anything. I didn't >> bring your phone, too, so we can take a picture. >> I didn't do nothing. I didn't take nothing. >> Sorry for pictures. >> I already had that. That's mine, >> right? >> Yep. >> I did. >> What's your first name? >> I already had that. >> Chasey, what's your last name? >> I already had that. That That's That's mine. >> I already had that with me. Do >> you have any corn? >> No, I brought that in with me. Those are my I brought that in with me. Do >> you have any on here? Stay still. >> I don't I don't know what I was doing. >> No, I don't have any ID. >> Can I give my my children's father my purse? >> You're not grabbing anything right now. >> Can I give him my purse? Can you take my purse? >> Who? >> My children's father. >> Where is he at? >> He's parked right over here. >> What car is he in? >> He left. If he hadn't left, I don't know. Can I? It's a blue truck. It's right over there. It's a blue Chevy. While officers were verifying her identity using the information she provided, she came up with another excuse for what had happened. >> I looked I was looking at different ones to and I was going to return those and exchange them for the different ones. >> How do you spell your first name? >> S Y didn't come in. >> What's your last name? >> S. I already had those. I brought this in. I was going to exchange them for a different one. >> Yeah, >> I had those. I was I was looking at other ones like that, but different ones. The bigger ones. >> Okay. >> How do you spell your last name? >> I didn't steal them from there. >> Okay. >> I had those >> like that. >> Yes. >> What's your bets? >> I had those. She already went through it. >> I I just looked um quickly to see if I >> have that. Can I get my phone? >> No. >> Were you taking the iPhone? No, >> I had those. >> That's 104. >> I have the receipts because I'm >> sure you do. >> I didn't take my gloves on. >> No, he could he get him and ask me, >> please. and her excuses never stopped. When her repeated denials failed to convince the officers, she suddenly claimed she had mental health issues, bringing it up as if she had just thought of it on the spot. >> This makes perfect tense to leave a receipt at home to come exchange stuff that you >> cuz I forgot it at home. And I said, "Well, I'll just go and see if they can exchange it without cuz y'all scare me. I scare I y'all scare me. I don't you know I just I get scared. Sounds like >> I have PTSD. I'm not I'm not I just left my girlfriend. >> You don't have any any weapons or anything on you? >> That's going to be a hazard to fire department. They can figure out. So that's why I need to look after him. >> I forgot my receipt at home. >> 321. >> Shortly afterward, EMS arrived at the scene. She still refused to admit any wrongdoing and remained completely calm as she waited to be transported, acting as though she was entitled to be served. >> Are you guys alone? >> I have a $3. So I have $300. >> So if I gone down, you don't have a bond. I do $300. If I have a >> I'm not arguing with you. They just don't Are you >> Did you figure out your cameras though to see where and when she concealed it? >> I'm going to now that I know what they are, I'm going to check those aisles to see when the camera. >> So, here I'll give this back to you. You can hammer. >> Can I get one of you guys to show me a receipt total amount for both? What's your first name, sir? >> Would be under >> just these two or just right in her bag. Get someone to help you. >> Jeff, you want to head over to appliances? We'll help you out with this. >> In the end, she was charged with retail theft, resisting arrest without violence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a concealed handcuff key. A person can outrun an officer for a moment, but they cannot outrun the consequences of their own choices. >> [music] >> Repeated dishonesty and refusal to accept responsibility only lead to more serious consequences. Worse, the woman got tazed after trying to flee from 22 previous retail theft cases. She's running. Put your hands. >> You said 22 cases. >> Oh, what? Who retailed? On the 12th of December 2025, officers responded to Target's loss prevention office after receiving a report that a woman known for repeated shoplifting had been spotted at [music] the store. But this time, the moment she walked out of the exit in an attempt to flee, officers immediately moved in and arrested her. >> Police stop. Don't you run. She's running. >> Put your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> Somebody cover her. Oh, what did I do? >> Stop resisting. >> What did I do? >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not even resisting. >> Those doors don't open fast enough. >> It's clicking. I just went through the whole took my receipt. >> Ain't nothing in my purse. Nothing. [groaning] >> You took all y'all to do that. >> All right. Goodbye. Can I get my hat? >> My foot hurts. >> Soon after, she was taken back to Target's loss prevention office where officers quickly explained why she was being arrested. Let's see how she reacted. >> So, what did y'all see me put in my purse or something? What is the problem? >> There's going to be 22 cases of retail first. Not me. >> That's not what the video shows. >> What video? >> That's not me. >> You said 22 cases >> of what? >> Who? Retail theft. 22 cases of what? >> Retail theft. Stealing. 22 cases of stealing. >> Why is it saying cases? Cases of what? >> 22 different incidents. >> No, not me. >> He said interesting. You're like the wrong person. You not even know who you talking to. No, you don't. >> Okay. Okay. about 22 cases. Be getting the wrong people think y'all got somebody talking about 22 cases. That's not me. >> Why did you run? >> She denied the allegations against her. But one question remained. [music] If she had done nothing wrong, why did she panic and run the moment she saw the police? It was a completely natural reaction from someone afraid of getting caught. >> Did you run? >> Huh? >> Why'd you run? >> Y'all scared me? Why your all came out like 10 D? >> That's all stolen. No, that's not the scanned. >> She standing. >> No, she did not. >> She I went through the line. What you mean she ain't standing? >> No. Look at my >> I don't know. It was 10 OF THEM. IT WAS 10 OF THEM. I'M LIKE WHAT? >> Because they were saying people like going on. >> No, they I didn't know who they was talking to. Hey yo, police stop. >> My bad. >> So, what what was our lesson today? >> You okay? >> Yeah. Act like they got a mother took my toothpaste. One lost it. >> Y'all got the wrong person. So, she ain't scanning all that stuff in there. I went through the line. If I was going to take I wouldn't be stealing from the thing. >> I saw it. She just She ran. >> Yep. Police stopped. Kept running. Tas. Did you feel the taste? >> She she told me she felt >> somehow they all fell out when you hit the ground like everybody else. >> Her frustration only continued to grow. It seems she believed that acting this way would somehow make her look innocent. Even then, she continued to deny everything. >> I wasn't stealing. That's what I'm saying. She ain't scared all that stuff in that car. I gave her my whole cart. >> That's what I'm saying. Look at the cameras. I went through the line. >> I got you. She talking about 22 cases. 22 cases or what? >> Hey, just heads up. They have a lot of cameras at this place. >> Oh, that's what they mean. Like 22 cameras. >> No, they got like probably about 1,000 cameras, but they have uh 22 cases of you stealing between here and East Poria. >> These cameras are good. Are you twins? >> I do have a twin. Sha. I'm just going to say that. I do have a twin. >> What's your name? >> Shay. >> What's your date of birth? >> Uh 12. You don't even know your date of birth. >> No, you said my day of birth. >> No, I said her day is >> Well, twins is the same day. >> What? >> Twins are the same day. >> You said my date of birth. >> No. >> Were you and your sister born on the same day? >> That's both born in December. >> You said, "What's today's date?" >> Y better. Y'all better make sure. Y'all better make sure it's neat cuz it's going to be a serious thing when we both got the red and >> what show somebody real quick for my kids. >> Where's your kids at? >> Me at the house. >> I don't know why you're taking my [ __ ] >> At that point, officers found her ID in the bag she was carrying. She immediately claimed she had a twin sister and suggested that her sister was the one responsible, but she had no evidence to support that claim. >> Is this your proper identification or what? How do you spell your name? >> Who is he? >> How do you spell your name? >> K A S. Hold on. >> K A S H E K >> E E K A tattoo on her leg. >> Yeah, I got a tattoo on my leg. >> Let me see that tattoo on her leg. >> I have a tattoo on my leg, but my sister What do you mean? Where do you see a tattoo at? >> Right there. >> Okay. So, what do you mean you got to know? You just saying stuff cuz I'm not the same person who >> is cool. >> Kashika, what's your last name? >> LG. >> What's your middle name? >> Uh, Ty Josia Chenet. >> What? >> Ty Josia Chenet. >> Do you have two middle names? >> Yes. >> Is Chenet with a C or an S? >> Is that French? >> Is this Is the Chenet with a C or an S? >> S. Miss Long, did you drive out here today? >> My >> What's your What's your birthday again? 111. >> All right, we've got an ID. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> What about >> That's your sister? >> Yeah. >> That's >> Let me see >> your ID. >> That's your sister's ID? >> Yeah, >> that's your sister's ID. >> That's my That's my ID. >> That's your sister's ID. >> What is you talking about? Oh, sorry. >> I'm just testing it. >> That's my ID. >> All right. Fingerprint. >> So, y'all don't think that's me. Y'all don't even know if that's me on my ID, but y'all said I got 22. >> Changed so much since I thought it was taken. When was that photo taken? >> Huh? >> When was that photo taken? >> 23. >> So, I look different. >> Yeah, you do. >> You look crazy. Y'all don't even know. >> The woman was charged with multiple counts of retail theft. Running from the police, repeatedly denying the evidence and shifting the blame cannot erase a pattern of criminal behavior. [music] When investigators have evidence from multiple incidents, deception only weakens your credibility and leads to more serious consequences. Next, this woman kept lying about her identity, unaware that the officers already knew [music] exactly who she was. >> She ain't my Yeah, it's going to be her. She She probably about to take off on me. >> Sir, I didn't. >> On November 7th, officers approached a woman on the street after recognizing that she matched the description of a shoplifting suspect who had fled. As soon as they made contact, they immediately asked for her information. But they appeared suspicious of whether it was truthful. >> Your last name? >> Monique. Uh Kraton. >> Kraton. >> Uhhuh. C R A Y T O N. >> Oh Lord, just I told I was like, "What do I July?" I just got I was like, "What the hell going on?" I knock back door. I'm sorry. >> I got you. Uh where you where you stay at? >> I stay over here on uh Johnson Street. I just moved on. Johnson's right there. But them houses back there back there >> on Johnson Street. >> Uhhuh. >> What's the uh numeric? Do you know >> the address? >> Mhm. >> I don't I know it's the great house at the corner cuz I just moved in with them. So, I don't really know, but it actually was very addressful. >> Although the woman's name could not be verified, her face was far too familiar to the officer. He even found her in the police system shortly afterward. >> Hey, do you we got a warrant on uh Natasha Nash? >> Who? >> Natasha Nash. >> This looks like her. She's giving me a different name, but >> a little more than others. >> She ain't Myique. Yeah, it's going to be her. She probably about to take off on me. I'm going to see if I can get her. I'm going to try it. All right, Kimble. >> Yeah, right. >> I'm on Crowd Street right here. I'm with her. >> It became clear that the woman had a prior history with law enforcement, and the information she provided was confirmed to be false. At that point, the officer gave her one more chance to tell the truth. >> All right. Look at me. >> Yes, sir. I can't. >> Yes, sir. I'm standing there in the shade. >> Okay. Okay. >> Okay. I got you. All right. You Natasha, ain't you? >> No, sir. I'm not Natasha. >> You're not. You Natasha? >> No, sir. >> Yeah. >> What's your daughter's name? >> I don't have no daughter. No daughters? >> No, sir. I don't have a son. >> You don't have a son? >> Yes, sir. I'm not Natasha. >> All right. You got any You got any proof of ID? >> No, sir. I do not. >> Zero proof of ID. Why you got chicken in your pocketbook? >> Oh, cuz I had my bug my bag had bust and I on the way back. >> But you still got that bag. >> I just I just kept it cuz it was heavy. No. >> Where did you get it from? >> I went to Harvest. I just came from Harvest to go get some food. I went got some buns and the fries and chicken and but I my bag got bought so I put my stuff some of the stuff up in here cuz I was walking with the bag. Yeah. Stand right here just a second. You You don't stay on Glendale? >> No, sir. >> Not no more? >> No, I've never stayed. >> What's your husband name? >> I don't have no husband. I'm not married. >> Not married? >> I've never been married. No, sir. >> Yeah. Stand by just a second. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. If you not be truthful with me, I'm going to get more I'm going get more warrants on you. You know, right now. All right. All right. Okay. Stand right there. >> Okay. You got no You ain't got no license. >> You ain't got no license. >> I don't have a license. I'm sorry. I live here tomorrow. uh going with my cousin. So I came in and moved in with her just about a week ago. She just came and got me. So >> yeah. Well, right now you being detained >> for what? >> So you just stand by that here for just a second and I'll get you on your way. >> No, I got I wonder why. Because it's >> Yeah, because you are you appear to be someone that we're looking for. >> Oh, no. I don't know who that is. I can't say mean I'm not do the person you look for. I got kids. >> Stand by just a second. >> My kids is over there, man, sir. And I know, sir. I stay right there. I don't even know what this Glendale right here. >> She denied every allegation against her, but her behavior afterward became increasingly suspicious as she tried to avoid the officer's questions. It appeared she was preparing to make a sudden move. >> I'm trying to look for a picture of her. She She definitely appears to be her and she's walking off and everything like that. It appears to be Natasha Nash and she's walking off from it. She's running. She's running across the street here. SHE DON'T HEY, HEY, HEY, WAIT. DON'T DO THAT. >> GET OUT. GET OUT ON THE GROUND NOW. >> GET ON THE [screaming] GROUND NOW. NOW. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND NOW. >> NOW [screaming] ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND NOW. GET ON THE GROUND. WHY ARE YOU HOLDING ME LIKE THAT? WHY? >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> My kids, >> get on THE GROUND NOW, >> SIR. I DIDN'T DO the ground. >> Oh, I didn't do nothing. >> I got him behind the behind the old Mexican restaurant. [laughter] [clears throat] >> Anybody get in here? Put your hand behind me. Okay. >> [screaming] >> stupid. >> Her decision to run only reinforced the suspicion that she was trying to avoid [music] the consequences of her actions. Even then, she continued making things more difficult by portraying herself as the victim. >> Sit up, Natasha. >> You can sit up. >> You're fine. You're breathing. >> Sit up. >> I swear to God. Sit up, Natasha. Sit up. Sit up. We're not playing. >> You know, all you're doing is prolonging the situation. You're going to jail. >> I know. >> You're going to chill and you're getting more warrants, too. >> Yeah. My bad. Look at my >> I'm going to go grab my car. >> All right. You want to say hi? She decided to run from over there. >> Yeah. >> No, we're good, buddy. Hey, I appreciate you checking. >> Hey, did you get that uh >> my cartridge and everything? >> Okay, that's >> your what? That way my chest way. >> Yeah. >> And you know you know I've always give you ample opportunity. >> I always gave you opportunity to talk. >> You never see me. >> A short time later, medical personnel arrived at the scene to make sure the female suspect was stable in her current condition. >> She got it. I'm good now. >> Chest. >> I'm good. Yeah. Yeah. I need you. >> Need you to take some short deep breaths cuz it's just your heart rate's a little elevated, but everything else is good. >> All right. Well, I'm going to put you in the truck and do a 12 lead. But if it's normal, I'm going to let you go with them. Okay. That's where we at right now. >> You need to >> Yeah, if you don't mind. I don't think >> that's 144. >> Nobody's laughing at you. >> Yes. Yes. laughing at him. My heart rate >> My heart rate's higher than yours is. >> But I said, you know, I don't never get no problem. So, YOU KNOW, >> YOU AIN'T never gave me no problem. That's why I can't understand why you run from me. >> My head hurts. >> I can't understand why you run from me. >> Okay. But like I said, I'm going around the 12 lead. If it's fine, put your hands in front of you. >> Put your hands in front of you. >> We're going to let you go with these. >> The woman was charged with retail theft, resisting arrest, obstructing justice, and the offenses related to her active warrant. Running from the police and lying about your identity only adds more criminal charges and makes the situation far worse. Next, this woman tried to run because she knew she was almost certainly going to jail. >> I swear her, sir. >> Turn around. >> I did it. >> I told you to stop. >> I knew I was going to go to jail for a long time. That's That's all. >> It's shoplifting. On the 4th of November 2022, officers were dispatched to a shopping mall after receiving a report that a woman with six prior shoplifting arrests had been spotted there. It appeared she had offended again because as soon as she saw the police, she ran, leading to a dramatic foot pursuit. >> Stop. >> No, I'm not stopping, sir. No. >> No. >> I'm not stopping, sir. >> I didn't do anything. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Stop. >> No. >> Stop. You stop. >> Get your hands off of me, sir. >> No, I didn't do anything. >> Sir, I didn't do anything. >> You're going to get tased. >> No, I didn't do anything. Sir, >> stop touching me. >> Stop. >> No. In front of the food court. Give a hug a vote. >> Yeah. Are you going to pay for it? >> No. >> Stop. >> You stop. >> You're going to get tased. >> Why are you doing this? >> Because you shoplifted. >> I did it. >> I told you to stop. >> I swear I did it. >> Ma'am, >> I did it. >> Do not stop. >> I swear I did it. >> I swear her, sir. >> Turn around. >> I did it. >> I told you to stop. >> That is not true. Please. >> I'm going to give you count. >> No, sir. >> No. I'm going home. >> Stop. >> Okay. You're going to get tased. >> Okay. Okay. Wait. >> No. >> Okay. >> Get out here. >> Okay. >> Get out here. >> Please don't do this. >> Stop. >> Just let me sit down. >> Please. >> The woman continued to insist she was innocent after failing to escape. Even after getting into her car, she claimed she just wanted to sit down. But she also tried to start the vehicle, forcing the officers to stop her before she could drive away. >> Stop. >> No. No. >> Nope. No, you uh >> stop. >> Uhuh. >> Mister, >> stop. >> You've got to stop. Stop. Okay. Okay. I'm stopping. Here. Here. Here. >> Mister. Here. Here. Here. >> Stop. >> Here. Sir. >> I get her to >> Yeah. Can I get a searching car? >> Turn around. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Sir. >> Okay. Get back. >> I'm just trying to Sorry. >> Do not move. I'm not >> the cars. Try to go. >> I I won't do nothing. I swear >> you don't run from the police and then try and get in the car with them. >> No, sir. >> Give me that. >> No, sir. >> What the other one look like? >> I'm so sorry. >> I don't The other uh >> I only saw her. >> Please like. I won't >> stop. >> When I tell you to stop, that means stop. >> I said sorry. I'm just trying to get her to unlock her phone so I can call her husband. >> Yeah. >> After the officers successfully [music] handcuffed the suspect, they searched her purse and found the stolen merchandise. Only then did she finally begin to show her embarrassment. >> Where's your ID at? >> No. >> Where is he? >> Yeah. Your purse is full of stolen stuff. >> Yes, so >> yeah. >> I am God. I'm so embarrassed. >> Face the car. >> I am so sorry. >> I am so embarrassed. >> Where's your car? >> My car is on the other side from the security office. >> Huh? >> You going to have somebody else transport or you transport? >> Yes. >> Yeah, somebody else can transport it. It's cool. I'm so sorry. >> She dropped a bracelet over here in the parking lot. >> Sorry. >> No, I mean sorry. I'm not saying I'm sorry. I apologize for doing that. >> Yeah, I'm good, man. I appreciate it. >> Somebody grab her shoes. >> Well, I really do apologize. >> It's right there. >> In reality, she only appeared embarrassed after being caught red-handed, not remorseful for what she had done. She then began pleading with the officers, offering one excuse after another in an attempt to avoid the consequences. >> So, at this point, you're going to go, too. Okay. >> Okay. I mean, I can pay for the stuff I got. >> Oh, it's a little We're past that point. Okay. >> Can I call my husband because my son >> When you get to jail, you can you can make a phone call. >> What's your last name? >> Mullen? >> Yeah. I mean, you can >> 77 central. I just need to let him know where I'm going. >> Can I get a criminal history while you're calling? >> Sorry, please. >> My son has picked up from work. >> I don't know how long to get a phone call. >> Well, it's going to be a minute. Okay. >> You can call him. Just tell him, you know, where I'm going. >> Do you know if I'm going to bond tonight? >> I don't know. >> We're We'll figure that out here in a minute. Okay. Then we'll uh get show going. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Can you please call my husband and tell him where I'm going so he can get my son from work? >> In the bag and my car does not lock. I need my key. >> I don't want to come back and not have a car. >> I'll bring your key. >> Watch out. >> The woman was confirmed to have a criminal history and she knew it herself. She later admitted that her prior record [music] was exactly why she had tried to run from the police. Why are you just stopped? >> Cuz I knew I was going to go to jail for a long time. That's That's all honest. >> It's shoplifting. >> I know. And it's that's all I've ever done in a wrong. >> How many times have have you been caught shoplifting and charged? >> Five. >> Five. Five convictions. I swear. But it's the only thing I've ever done. I go I I ask the Lord for giving me strength. But and I don't mind is the devil's playground and I should have never even been here. >> It's like you're playing Russian roulette with yourself. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You got kids? >> No. >> No. Married? >> Yeah. And my husband does not deserve this city. I'm so stupid. I swear I'm stupid. >> This is so ridiculous. >> I hate myself for doing this. I do better. >> I can't believe it. >> You know, you you make bad choices. >> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting and felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Trying to escape accountability rarely erases the original crime. In many cases, the attempt to run, resist, or deceive law enforcement creates more serious consequences than the theft itself. Next, the woman claimed everything was hers except for the crimes she had committed. >> Put in my mouth. No. Why? Absolutely. Why not? They're mine. [music] >> There's actual convictions. >> That was somebody else. So, I caught somebody else's charge. Is >> now a felony? >> That's somebody else. I I'm not worried about that. On the 23rd of June 2023, officers approached a woman in Walmart's [music] loss prevention office after she was detained for shoplifting. The situation became tense from the very beginning and quickly escalated. Here's what happened. >> Getting very, very aggressive. >> No, I'm not. I'm sitting right here. Stay with Joe. Let's go. >> Sit down. >> What? >> I just asked you. He already got what he got. There ain't nothing else in my [ __ ] But y'all can go through my [ __ ] properly. >> No, it ain't. They took that pencil. That was mine. >> Take a bag. >> No, you're not putting my No. >> Don't put your hands on me, bro. Put your hands Don't put your HANDS ON ME, BRO. DON'T PUT YOUR HAND. DON'T PUT YOUR FACE. >> YOU PUT YOUR HAND ON MY NECK, BRO. I SWEAR TO GOD. YOU >> just put your You don't put my hand in. Don't put my hand up. I already got it, bro. I'm holding my right here. >> No. >> I ain't resisting, dude. Don't put your >> Don't put your Shut the up. Listen. You want to KEEP CATCHING CHARGES? SHUT UP. >> Shut the up. >> I'm not respecting, [ __ ] I can't move. Double up. >> God damn, bro. >> I'm native. Don't touch my hair. Some goddamn losers. Relax, >> dude. I'm telling her, bro. With my hair. >> You're making it worse. [laughter] >> Look, you're going to jail. >> It is a goddamn traditional. >> Chill out. Sir, you >> stop pulling on the I resisted. >> She denied resisting arrest, even though it had happened just minutes earlier. She showed no remorse and quickly began portraying herself as the victim. >> Behave now back here. >> I'm behave, dude. She put her hands on me, man. He put his hands on me, too. >> Yeah, >> I don't take that. >> I don't care what it is, buddy. She put her hands on me. >> Who? >> You're You're the cop >> after you pushed her. >> No, I did. Listen, she freaking got in my face, though. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> You have no respect. You don't do that to the cop. >> Huh? >> You don't do that to the cop. >> Well, she doesn't do that to me until she finds out what the whole deal is. >> No, that's why we're there. You didn't give her a chance. You just got up and pushed her. >> No, I did not. >> Uh, yeah, it's on camera. >> No, it's not. No, I didn't. Okay. >> Yeah, it is. >> Whatever. >> All right, we're back now. >> All right, cool. You gave a total for everything she took. >> Yeah. So, just give us a rundown what happened. >> So, she's shopped with me on the cookie bags like that. She just putting stuff in there, right? And that's the two out there. So after that um I'm just waiting for her to pass the last point of sale. Boom. We stop her ask her to come in the office. She comes in. She gets very very aggressive. Start coming in our face and all that. But retrieve the merchandise. >> Obviously she's aggressive. Ask for ID and stuff. She didn't want to, you know, provide it and stuff. She get angry at us and that's when we started calling cuz she just how agitated she was. >> Okay. So hold on. She was taking bags and loading stuff in them. >> Yeah. All I seen was the two electronic items and one makeup. I don't know if >> electronics and makeup. All right. Let's go through. >> In addition, the store's surveillance cameras captured her concealing merchandise inside her bra, prompting officers to conduct a search. >> But you're on camera stuffing something in your bra. That's why I'm searching. >> Can you please step away? >> He's got to be here with me. He's my backup. >> Look at my tit. >> Listen, I'm a female. I'm a female. >> So that's why I'm searching your because you're on camera. >> Fix that when you're done. >> Yep. >> All right. Okay. It's in your bra. That's >> responding to the color. >> What is you know what? Watch. Listen. >> The freaking It's a lining thing. >> Yeah. Well, I'm going to cut it open. >> Why are you going to cut it open? There's an opening on the side. >> That's what I'm trying to look for. >> Go. I'm trying to give you a little help you out on the other side so you don't have to reach over and freaking grab it by your neck. The freaking thing. It's bunched up. I put them in there >> because I don't freaking my nipples get hard. I don't like that. You'll see my nipples. to probably where some items were stolen from the locker room. Just check it out. >> I think it's bunched up. That's all it is. >> Yeah, but you're on camera. There's two. We have two. >> Yeah, there's two in there. There's two in there. >> There's definitely >> Yeah, cuz I >> Cuz you have a Yes, I do. >> But why are they in your bra? Why are they in your tits? Well, then let me have a prescription. >> Got to take him with me to jail. That's what I was going to do. It's going to eat him when I got in there. >> There we go. Cuz it's inside out. >> No, it's not inside out. Actually, it is actually. >> Can you at least put it back in? Jesus. That's why I put them in the first place. Put in my mouth. >> No. Why? >> Absolutely not. >> Why not? They're mine. >> She showed no sign that she understood the seriousness of what was happening, acting arrogant throughout the entire situation. Even the body camera inside the patrol car was not spared from her behavior. Put that right there. You know what? kind of busy. We're >> No, we're we're actually kind of busy dealing with somebody in the vehicle right now. >> So, if you do have something >> Can you do me a favor? Can you just grab my wrist? A >> love, can you just I would do that for you. Just let me ask you some questions. >> Yeah. Yeah. I think that's mine. So, if they took they took it. Okay. The pencil, the eye pencil, that was mine. >> The officers ran a background check on the woman and it turned out this was not her first offense. At that point, they explained to her what consequences she would be facing. >> So, listen, you have previous theft convictions. So, even though this >> Why do I Why do I have to put what >> on your on your criminal history? Arrested for for theft related crimes >> for like what? >> Grand theft, fraud, and defrauding an inkeeper. You have convictions. That was [ __ ] because there's that was somebody else. That was somebody else. >> You were convicted. There's actual convictions of criminal. >> That was somebody else. So I caught somebody else's charge. Is now a felony. >> That somebody else I'm not worried about that. Somebody else actually got caught doing cashing a check with my You're not even listening. Somebody else got caught while I was in the bank. All right. Doing the same thing with my thing. That's why I got criminal use of a personal identification. But I didn't. >> Well, that's the one. But it wasn't my charge. She believed everything belonged to her except for taking responsibility for her own actions. However, under pressure from the officers, she eventually had to admit to the theft. >> That other that eye pencil is mine. I tried to take that freaking other thing, but I did not get the thing out. So, I just left it there. The little things, the pomade, >> there was one, but it was darker. I put back. >> And you just couldn't you? >> No, I put it back. >> So, that's what they're looking for. But the one that I had, that's the one that I wanted, but I had got that from somebody else. Like that is from some place else. That is mine. The other thing the the eye pencil is mine. They got the freaking radio. >> Okay. So that's it. >> So just two things. Radio and >> radio and the earphones. Okay. The other thing that's mine. So if they took they took it. >> Okay. >> The pencil. The eye pencil. That was mine. >> So listen, you have previous theft conviction. So even though this is >> what do I what do I have to what? >> You see it on your report >> on your in your criminal history. You've been arrested for for theft related crimes. for like what? >> Grand theft, fraud, and defrauding an inkeeper. You have convictions. So, this is now going to be upgraded to a felony. >> That was somebody else. >> You were convicted there. There's actual convictions in your criminal history. So, this >> $50 is now a felony. So, just letting you know. >> I'm not worried about that. >> The woman was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, felony theft, and resisting arrest. Denying wrongdoing and refusing to [music] cooperate can make a situation worse, especially when evidence and a criminal history prove otherwise. And there's a there's a gun in the vehicle, too. >> Just sitting there next >> in the center console. >> All right, man. Where's that receipt at? >> Um, I think it was in the cart. >> In the cart? I didn't see one in there. >> On the 30th of November, 2025, police received a report from Meyer about a couple who had allegedly left other family members inside their vehicle in an unsafe manner while they shopped. Even when officers approached them, they never appeared concerned and instead acted suspiciously, seemingly trying to avoid answering questions. >> What vehicle are you guys in? >> That one. >> That one. All right, cool. We need to talk to you. >> Well, we got two children in the car. >> Yeah, >> it's freezing out here. You already take two children in the store with you. >> I'm sorry. We was rushing. We're having our Thanksgiving dinner tonight and we were trying to rush because we got here at literally 11:58. >> Listen, man. We still came back in just right back out in there. >> Like we And there's a there's a gun in the vehicle, too. >> Just sitting there >> in the center console. All right. >> That's an issue. >> Okay. >> Are you done ID on you? >> Yeah, I know. >> Any any other guns on you? >> No. >> Mind if I patch you down? >> Can I fix that? >> I'll put the heat on for you guys. Okay. >> Oh, I didn't know there were kids. >> There you go, boss. Well, you know, accidents happen, man. You don't know. They crawl around. They might play with it. >> Yeah. No, bro. You didn't get to have Thanksgiving. >> No, look, man. I'm not I'm I'm just being honest. You know, accidents happen. It's just unsafe. >> With the safety of others placed at risk by their actions, the officers were able to take decisive action against them. >> Turn around for me. Put your hands behind your back. You're going to be placed under arrest for what? >> Child, man. read your rights. Okay. You have the right to anything you say. >> Hold on. Turn around for me. Put your hands behind on your back. You're going to be placed under arrest for charged as well. Wait. say the right time cannot be right. >> All right. So, for these children, do we have family close by that can take control of these kids? >> We're going to work through that. Okay. You better walk you to the front of my car. Okay. >> I I'll touch you. I'll let you do that here in a second. Okay. >> At that point, officers discovered the situation was even more serious as it became clear they had not legitimately come to shop because multiple items were found to have never been paid for. The officers then confronted the suspects about that. Do >> you have a receipt for everything that's in there? >> I didn't bring it up. My husband is. >> Okay, I'll ask him. >> Obviously, there anything else? >> Is Is there anything in your purse or anything? >> No. >> Nothing I'm going to find that's not paid for. Now, if you're honest now, we're going to find out anyway. So, >> I only that's in there that I didn't pay for seasoning. >> Seasoning. Okay. All right. I appreciate it. Thank you. Okay. >> Okay. >> Then, uh it's also going to be trespass as well. You guys were already trespasser, >> not from this one, but from a previous one. All right, man. Look, I got to ask you a couple questions. Okay. >> It's all on camera inside. All right. >> Did you pay for everything that's in that card? >> Not the wipes. >> Okay. So, you did you skip skip paying some stuff? >> Okay. Um, do you have a receipt in the bag so we can go back and see? Okay. So, I'm going to go check and we'll go from there. Okay. All right. So, what's the visual go to court? Downtown or it's going to be in Delaware? We're in Delaware County right now. Have a seat right here. Okay. Have you take off your shoes for me? >> Do you think judging by their attitude, this was really their first time. There was no sign of remorse whatsoever. Officers then recovered all of the merchandise they had taken. No, >> man. If it's paid for, it's paid for. Whatever you guys pay for, I'll bring back out. for the stuff that's not paid for. So, that's got to go back. Okay. >> So, I I heard you talking >> um I got to find out if it's paid for. If it's not paid for, then it's got to go back. Okay. >> Uh so, I see the receipt somewhere. >> Yeah, that's what that's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the receipt >> cuz if it look, if it's paid for, you guys keep it. If it's not paid for, it's not paid for. >> You get it? Um, I got to give me a minute. I got to go back to my bag and let me take care of this and I'll get you one. Okay. >> Okay. >> Are you guys able to pull receipts up? I'm not seeing a receipt in here anywhere. >> No receipt. >> She did admit to she did admit to stealing the seasoning in her purse. >> Okay. >> All right, man. Where's that receipt at? >> Um, I think it was in the cart. >> In the cart? I didn't see one in there. Okay. >> And one in bags. >> Okay. How much uh how much stuff do you skip scan? >> There was like two items. >> Two items. Okay. And then she's got the seasoning in her purse that she took. >> Uh I don't know if you knew about that. >> Okay. Um Okay. That's all I had, man. We're going to try to figure this out. I know it's not much, but my charges for it. Okay. >> Because of these parents' actions, everyone connected to them ended up facing the consequences. A store representative explained what they would face in the future, but pay close attention to the way they laughed. They acted as if nothing that had happened was a big deal. >> Okay. So, obviously, just to let you guys know that you're no longer allowed on my property. That's all property. We're gas stations, stores, any stores we own, any property that we own, even if we have not built on it yet. No longer allowed on there >> like ever. >> Ever. >> Nope. So, you'll have your s signature and the date. >> If I don't sign it. >> No, it still counts. >> Still counts, man. I got two officers standing right here. >> They'll make you sign it. >> I can't make you sign it, but it still counts. It's all on It's all on video. >> And look, I tell you miners real good what they do, so they'll know if you come back in here. How did these [ __ ] make you ban from Meyer? Bro, >> I'mma be 30 years old like, damn, I really want some fresh vegetables and I'm not going to be able to come to my bro. >> You're smell like. >> In the end, the couple were charged with child endangerment, theft, and criminal trespass. Never put your children at risk or treat theft like a minor mistake because reckless choices can harm innocent lives and lead to serious criminal consequences. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, she told me false, too. >> She told me Monica false. I said, "What's your name?" She said, "Monica." >> Feel like I'm being racially profiled. I feel like you shoplifted. >> So, you committed a crime. >> On the 31st of December, 2024, officers received a call from Walmart regarding a theft that had allegedly occurred at a local store. The suspects, a woman and a man, had already left the scene. But when officers caught up with them, both immediately appeared guarded and wary of law enforcement. Sir, >> y'all have ID with you? >> No, I ain't got no ID. >> Y'all have ID with you? >> Well, major viewer just called and said that there was something going on up here. >> Oh, yeah. >> Well, they said make contact. We just want to find out what they want. >> You need to see what contact ID for. What's up, auntie? Thank you. Happy New Year. >> Ma'am, do you have idea with you? >> It's not a choice. You have to either give me idea. Huh? >> I'm trying to get some time. >> They That's fine. You can get that after. >> Why you come on me? Why you >> Because they gave me the specific information about you and this gentleman here in the blue shirt. >> Black tank top and the male with the blue shirt. >> Okay. That's not a question. You're going to provide ID. You give me information. One of the two. >> Well, listen to me. I ain't got no ID. >> Cuz they've made accusation until I get it cleared up. >> You can give me your name and birthday. That's fine. That works. here. I want to hear them say I want to hear them say that there was a black tank top and and a what? What else? A black tank top and what? Blue hoodie. [laughter] >> Okay, >> sir. What's your name? >> What? >> Your name, sir? >> Mr. F. >> Mr. F. >> Mr. F. >> What's your first name? Mr. F. >> Ain't nobody say nothing about no black, so I know that. >> Chris F. Man, >> your birthday, Mr. F. >> Yeah. The man deliberately dodged the officer's questions and even when asked for his name, he hesitated for a moment before answering, leading officers to suspect he was not being truthful. The woman appeared to be doing the same thing. >> Ma'am, >> what's your name? >> Why are you asking me my name? >> Because I'm going to get your information or either I'm going to arrest you for uh obstruction at this point. >> Monica. >> Monica. What? It's not a >> phone. What's your birthday? Some dog going. What's the >> m y'all not afraid to leave at this point? >> Wait a minute. >> There's been an accusation made that we can get it settled out. >> Miss Foss, what's your birthday? >> What's going on? Please, sir. >> Miss Fos, what's your birthday? >> I'm I'm Mr. F. >> She said her name was Monica F. Just recording. You just told me Monica F. What is your name? >> My name is Alleia. >> What? >> Alleia. >> Alleia. >> Yeah, I need my phone. >> What's your last name? I go back and review my video and it says you told me Monica Falls were going to >> I was talking I was talking to the other >> out with Chris F 1028 to 71 and Monica F. Correction >> Alleia 9387. >> I'm false. I'm false. >> Yeah. Well, she told me false too. >> She told me Monica false. I said, "What's your said Monica and you said false. >> No, she said she repeat my name. She said false. >> I said Monica. I was talking to her. I would pay you. >> Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Cuz I was supposed to give you my name. I got no idea I'm Chris. >> Shortly afterward, the woman admitted that they had been involved in an incident with Walmart, but even then, she still refused to accept any responsibility for her actions. I >> believe the accusation was that you made purchase and didn't ring everything up. >> Well, I guess that's everything I told her. I said, "Give me a refund." She said that the computer didn't ring it. That was what she talking about. Well, dang. What she call the police for? She should have just kept the stuff and gave me a refund. Like I said, >> she came to the test. >> Did you get a refund for what you purchased? >> No, she didn't get my money back at all. I still I was my phone died. >> I was scanning everything on my on the in the basket. She said everything didn't ring up. Yes, sir. >> That what she talking about. I said, "Man, y'all keep that stuff." >> That's a term called skip scanning. >> We call I ain't no skip scan. >> Yeah. I called the other lady and I She said um she had to do a what? to start a compilation. She scanned three items. That was it. >> Yeah. She cancelled it out. She said, "Okay, let's go." >> And she told me back said, "Okay, y'all." >> She still got my money in there in that case. >> She need to get my money. >> So, how much did you pay for whatever you purchas? >> Why didn't you stay there and and get your refund? >> Because she told me she was going to give me a refund. >> She talking about I I miss miscar stuff. I said, "But I told the lady, the lady came over and confirmed it." >> I told her that and she said, "No, no, you didn't scan everything. You didn't scan everything." I said, "Fine, just give me a refund then. You can ask you to give me a refund and I go to another store and buy what I need." And I came out the store with nothing. She said, "She not going to give me a refund. That's why I don't have it." >> Shortly afterward, backup officers arrived at the scene and immediately took the man into custody. While the woman's demeanor became noticeably more tense, her demeanor turning noticeably more frantic. I'll >> explain just a moment. >> He's got one. He's got one. >> Wait a minute. >> Well, I don't know all of that yet. I have to get them to look up, >> buddy. Okay. >> You're in cooperating with me more than she has. So, >> I'll answer and get the information as quick as I can for you. Okay. >> I'm not I'm not doing I'm not doing none of this stuff. I need some I need a lawyer and all that because >> But you are cuz if you walk away, you're going to get locked up for obstruction. >> I mean, if I walk away, that's I mean, but I'm not walking away. But I need a lawyer cuz I'm not going to sit up here and go through. >> We're not charging you with anything. Oh, I'm trying to You trying to do a fingerprint scan? >> Well, we're trying to figure out if you would stop talking. No, you're detained, ma'am. You're detained. You're not free to leave. >> Regardless, we got to figure out You don't have an ID on you. You don't know your social. >> Not by heart. No. >> Okay. So, right now, we're showing up a person with the same birthday and name as you with a warrant from Gwynette County. So, now we got to figure out using a fingerprint scanner. If you are the person you say you are or if you're this person with a warrant, that's what we got to figure out. Hey man, my blood pressure on man. Come and help me man. I need some high. >> So you got to wait. >> Yeah. Give me a minute. Give me >> to figure out who you are cuz you don't have any identification on you to tell us if you are who you say you are. >> So I need I feel like I feel like I'm being I feel like I'm being uh mistreated. I feel like I'm being racially profiled. I feel like all you shoplifted so you committed a crime. >> Shoplifted. This woman got my money. But you stop listening. >> We're scanning stuff and then putting other stuff in the bag. >> I scan it with my phone. >> A database search flagged an active arrest warrant under her real identity. In a desperate move to escape her fate, she spat out a fake name. A foolish lie that handed officers absolute justification to arrest her right on the spot. >> Trying to get me to go out. I said, "I'm not going in there for you for no refund. You a refund [snorts] at the register." She could have did it right there at the register. Why she didn't go to the register? >> What? >> Wow. That's not my That's not my name. Okay. >> My name is Lake Wall. What is his phone? I got I got >> Man, my name is Blessing G. My name is not Blessing Gang. >> You're being detained right now. I'm going to I'm going to search this right here because >> right now that's what it's coming back to. Okay. >> But it's Wall. >> My last name is Wall. Not >> Who the hell is you? >> No, I'm not. My last name is Wall. Yep. >> My daddy. He's sick. >> Huh? >> My daddy is sick. I was just trying to get his stuff to go home and I didn't know I ain't nothing. >> Well, listen. >> My name is W Mary. I am married. >> Okay. Well, that's not what your license says. So, that's not what the >> That's the old license. My name is >> Okay. So, listen. >> And I didn't even know that license was in there. >> Sure. So, listen. You're going to get charged with shoplifting. >> I didn't shoplift nothing. How you shoplifting? You >> You're also going to get charged with giving false name, date of birth, and obstruction. >> I did not give no false name. My name is Alle. I'm married. You can check and see if I >> But that doesn't come back when I run your license number. It comes back to the blasting gang. >> But I'm married. In the end, the woman was charged with obstruction, failure to identify, and shoplifting, and was also booked on an outstanding warrant. Providing false information to law enforcement only made the situation worse. Being honest and cooperative during an investigation can prevent additional charges and avoid turning a minor incident into a much more serious legal problem. I was being nice. I DIDN'T MOVE OR [screaming] NOTHING. I DIDN'T RESIST OR NOTHING BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A REASON TO STEAL. I HAVE THE MONEY. On the 26th of January 2026, police intercepted a woman attempting to walk out of a store with a cart full of unpaid merchandise. She initially treated the incident like a minor misunderstanding, completely unaware of the harsh reality about to hit her. Here is what happened next. >> Yeah, paper everything. We're watching the camera. All right, we're going to go to the office over here. Okay. Well, I don't think that's what we're doing. I think we're going to I think they're going to go ahead and charge it for >> It's okay. I don't care. >> Well, we'll keep that for an hour here. >> Huh? You can take the bottle with me. >> But you're in the restaurant. You're not going to give anything other than the bottle. >> We'll figure it out. >> It's okay. >> I don't even care. >> What is it that you're getting? >> I don't know. I can pay for it. It's not even that easy. I don't even care. Whatever we got to do. She confidently assumed this stunt would only earn her a slap on the wrist and a simple trespass warning. However, her entitled behavior inside the loss prevention office quickly shattered any hope of a quick and easy exit. >> I think everything >> stop touching me before I get mad. Okay. I'm not even GOING I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. NO SKILL. >> I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. I'm not even resisting or nothing. >> I'M NOT RESISTING. I DO NOTHING. I DIDN'T. I SAID THEY HURT. I DIDN'T EVEN RESIST OR NOTHING. I didn't move or nothing. [screaming] I WAS I MOVE FOR NOTHING. I DIDN'T RESIST OR NOTHING. I SHOWED YOU I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> He He grabbed me and stuff. >> I'm calm. I was already calm. >> I was already calm. >> I WAS CALM. >> YOUR VOICE. >> All I said WAS IT HURT. I DIDN'T EVEN DO NOTHING. You stand up. >> Thank you. Your handcuffs. >> I SAID I GAVE THEM TO YOU. >> That's not what you said. You said you're not going to KEEP THOSE. >> I SAID I SAID IT HURT. I didn't do nothing. I gave you everything you need. I DON'T CARE TO PAY FOR NOTHING. Don't care for it to pay for nothing. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> I didn't say nothing. I DIDN'T SAY NOTHING AT ALL. He just ME I DIDN'T SAY NOTHING. I RESIST. >> SHE cast herself as the victim even though she knew exactly what she had been doing. But the cops weren't buying her act. She even acted as if she had the authority to reject the officer's decision. >> Here it is. I'll give you the money right now. >> You're not. YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. >> SHUT UP. >> You already heard me. Okay. >> All right. Good. >> Shut up. Talk to me. >> I want you to sit down. >> I don't care what you want. Stop touching me. SIT DOWN. >> NO. [screaming] STOP TOUCHING ME. >> STOP GETTING UP THEN. >> NO. LEAVE ME ALONE. CAN I GET ANOTHER OFFICER GET YOU? CAN YOU GET THE OUT OF MY FACE? YOU ALREADY HURT ME. >> NO. >> Stop touching me. >> Nobody's touching me. >> I DON'T CARE. GET OUT OF MY FACE. >> DOWN. You're not going to be touched. Okay. >> I don't care. >> Just say I'll give you all the money. I don't care. I have the money right there. Do you want the money? >> Nope. E41 hurting me. >> Clinging desperately to the cash in her purse. She weaponized her money as a pathetic excuse. She repeatedly used it to shift the blame onto the officers and justify her actions. >> NO, I NEVER WALKED PAST THE LAST POINT. NO, THAT'S not that's not how they go. I had cash in my baby's bag and I can give you the money. I had to get my baby's bag. >> You stopped me where I got my baby's bag from. I never went past the LAST POINT OF SALE. SO, LET ME PAY FOR IT. >> Can I have a unit out here for a transport, please? >> Is that how it go? Be real. I NEVER WALKED past the LAST POINT OF SALE AND YOU KNOW THAT. YOU STOPPED ME BEFORE I GOT THERE. I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT. THE CASH IS IN MY BABY'S BAG. >> SO, he's free. All that. >> I never went past THE LAST POINT OF SALE. YOU CAN'T ARREST ME. THAT'S NOT FAIR. I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT. I NEVER WALKED OUT THE DOUBLE DOORS. I DIDN'T EVEN GET CLOSE TO THE DOUBLE DOORS. THAT'S NOT FAIR. LET ME PAY FOR IT. >> DO YOU KNOW WHAT shoplifting is? >> I NEVER YOU HAVE TO WALK OUT THE LAST ONE. >> IF YOU CONCEAL PROPERTY, >> I didn't conceal. >> You put it inside that bag. So, try to walk out the door. THAT'S >> I DIDN'T BUT I DIDN'T TRY TO WALK OUT THE DOOR. >> DID YOU BAG YOUR PROPERTY BEFORE PAYING FOR IT INITIALLY? >> NO, BUT I I HAD TO GET THE CASH OUT MY BABY BACK. MY BABY BAG WAS AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN ME STOP THERE BECAUSE I STOPPED THERE. THE CASH IS IN MY BABY'S BAG ALONG WITH MY OTHER DEBIT CARD. I NEVER WALKED PAST THE LAST ONE. SO I DIDN'T GET PAST THE DOUBLE DOOR. SO I DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING. I didn't put nothing IN NO BAG OR NOTHING. I PUT IT IN THAT BAG. THAT'S A WALMART BAG. STILL IN THE STORE. >> That's not concealing anything. We're just having a unruly poverty. 14. >> I didn't I didn't steal anything cuz I DIDN'T HAVE THE LAST ONE. THE HIGHEST I'VE EVER HEARD. >> HEY, you know that hangs out here. I need somebody. >> I also need supervisor force. Her emotions gradually spiraled out of control. Realizing the officers were unmoved by her theater, she desperately turned her attention to the loss prevention staff, launching into a frantic attempt to justify her actions. >> IN MY BABY'S BAG, HE STOPPED ME WHERE I WAS GETTING MY BABY BAG AT. I COULDN'T TAKE MY BABY BAG IN THE STORE BECAUSE IT'S A DIAPER BAG. WHEN SHE TOLD ME TO LEAVE A DIAPER BAG, I TOOK THE DIAPER BAG. You're telling me this for no reason. >> I'm telling you this because I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT. >> BUT I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO PAY. THAT'S NOT FAIR. I CAN PAY FOR ANYTHING THAT I HAVE. I didn't GET A CHANCE TO PAY FOR IT. AND Y'ALL KNOW THAT'S HOW IT GO. BUT I IT'S NOT STEALING UNTIL YOU WALK OUT THE DOUBLE DOORS. NO, IT'S not fair. >> That's not fair. THAT'S NOT FAIR. THAT'S NOT FAIR. Y'ALL KNOW THAT'S HOW THEY GO. AND I'M OFFERING TO STEAL PAPER BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT. I HAVE A WHOLE BABY. [screaming] I DON'T HAVE NO reason to steal. I have money for anything that I need to buy. I don't have NO REASON TO LIE. I DIDN'T GO PAST THE DOUBLE DOORS. MY CASH IS IN MY BABY BAG. MY BABY BAG IS OUT THERE. I DIDN'T BRING MY BABY BAG PASS ME IN THE STORE. YOU CAN ASK THE LADY THAT WAS WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THIS. SHE MADE ME PUT MY BABY BAG DOWN. But I'm TELLING YOU THIS BECAUSE IT MATTER BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A REASON TO STEAL. I HAVE THE MONEY. But I'm not stealing. Y'all can literally steal. Let me go because I CAN PAY FOR IT. I CAN GO BECAUSE IT'S NOT FAIR. I DIDN'T GO PAST THE LAST POINT OF SALE. YOU KNOW THAT. It appeared that every attempt to clear her name had completely failed. Instead, she doubled down on her defiance, escalating the encounter into a completely chaotic and embarrassing scene right before being hauled away. >> THERE'S A STORE PROPERTY. I HAVE NO MONEY IN MY BABY BAG. THE MONEY IN MY BABY [screaming] OR I CAN GIVE YOU A DIFFERENT CARD. >> SIT DOWN. Sit down. Sit down. THAT'S NOT FAIR. Y'ALL NOT HERE TO WORK WITH YOU. I HAVE THE MONEY. >> I have the money. >> Sit down. >> No. Cuz you're not listening to me. I have [laughter] >> You WANT TO GO? >> NO. I HAVE THE MONEY. WHAT'S THE MATTER? >> I HAVE THE MONEY. NO. >> NO. NO. BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME. YOU >> YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. OKAY. >> OKAY. I DON'T CARE. In the car. Come on. >> I DON'T CARE. NO. NO MAMA [screaming] [screaming] STOP. [laughter] [screaming] STOP. [screaming] STOP. LET ME GO. LET ME GO. LET ME GO. I HAVE THE MONEY. Let me go. [screaming] LET ME GO. LET ME GO. LET ME GO. >> IN THE END, the woman was charged with retail theft. Accept responsibility for your actions instead of making excuses because refusing accountability often turns a bad situation into a worse one. True accountability always wins when the cuffs click. Next, the woman believed that wearing the stolen shoes made her run faster. >> What's your name? >> Don't lie to me. >> You know what my name is? >> YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU. I DON'T CARE. I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO I'll go there. >> You want to get tape? >> On the 2nd of July 2025, police responded after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance in the parking lot behind Shoe Carnival involving Lauren. But the situation did not end there. This was what happened when officers approached the woman. >> Cut through the bull crap. Okay, we got a call that said someone like was punching on you. >> I in there. >> I don't know where he's at. >> What's his name? I don't want to taunt people. >> Well, if you don't want to press charges, I mean, that's up to you. >> I don't know where he's at. I don't know if he's in there or not. >> What's his name? >> I'm just going to walk. I don't know what his name is. >> What's your name? >> I don't want to I don't want to get in trouble. >> Okay. >> Timor, I'm with the female half right now. All right. Where's the shoes? He has them. >> He has them. Okay. What's your name? >> Don't lie to me. >> You know what my name is? >> What's your name? >> Lauren. >> What is it? >> Lauren. >> Lauren? What? >> I just want to leave. >> Is that him right there? >> We're not doing anything wrong. We're not. We >> No, but I got First of all, we actually left. We actually left. We actually left. We actually left. We actually left. >> Lauren. >> If it had only been a domestic disturbance, that would be one thing. But the woman had already given a false name at that point. Officers also received reports that the store had missing merchandise. Was this the reason? >> Who Who took the shoes? >> No one took any shoes. >> Okay. >> No one took any shoes. >> Those are brand new shoes. >> I had these shoes when I walked in. >> Okay. Are these the shoes? >> Oh, yeah. No, these were not the shoes. I had these shoes when I walked in 100%. Couple of the video. I bought these shoes >> when >> I bought these shoes. Uh, >> and you said they're sandals. >> On the 23rd. On the 23rd. >> Empty out your backpack. I got to see if there's sandals. >> There's nothing in there. Nothing in there. >> Does he have the sandals? >> There's nothing in there. I'm not trying to do anything wrong. >> Empty out your backpack, Lauren. Nothing much I see. >> You holding anything in there or No. >> No. >> What? >> No. >> There's no drugs in there or nothing? >> I don't do drugs. >> Okay. >> The woman denied that the new shoes on her feet were stolen, but that was hard to believe. Her later actions only made it more certain. >> Stand up. You're being detained for retail theft. Take the backpack off. Stand up, bro. >> Reach out that for a while from the ship. >> Oh, Joey. I just had him on tablet. >> No, I don't want them. Take them. I don't want them. You know that's what you're doing. I'm not doing this [ __ ] >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm not getting >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> You're physically hurting me. >> I'm done for. >> You're physically hurting me. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You're physically hurting me. You're physically hurting me. Can you please stop? >> It's about to get worse. Put your hands behind your back. >> I don't want this. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Ow. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I just smashed my head in the concrete. >> Put your hand behind. >> Where's the video? Where's the video cam? >> Put your hand. >> I'm rolling you over so I can get your hand behind your back. >> I don't WANT THIS. I >> PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU. I DON'T CARE. I'll give it back to him. I'll go there. Apologize. >> You want to get tape? >> No. No. I would go there. Put your hand behind your back. I want to go there. Apologies. I want to go there. Apologize. We can work with that, but right now you're being detained. >> Can Can I go in there and apologize? I'm sorry. Please >> put your hand behind your back. >> I don't need this. I don't need this. Please stop. >> The woman's pleas at this point were an admission that the shoes were stolen. Of course, those pleas came far too late and everything she continued to say was in vain. >> Take your take your [ __ ] Take your taser. Take your taser. Take it. Not my taser. >> Whatever this is behind your back. >> I don't want this. Please. I don't want my I don't want my stuff. Please leave me. At least you show one to tank. >> Can you please? I don't want the shoes. I don't want the shoes. I don't want them. I don't want them. >> Stand up. >> I don't want them. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Can you take the shoes back? I'm so >> Stand up. It's too late now. >> Stand up now. >> Stand up now. >> Can I get my bag? >> I will get you your bag. Stand up. You got a video of her taking the shoes? No. >> Okay. I want them. I don't want them. I don't want them. I don't want them. You can show her and cuss me for I don't want him. I don't want I want to get charged for nothing. I don't want them. I don't want him. >> Been cool with you from the get-go. It would have been a simple ticket. Now you went and made it worse. >> I gave him back the shoes. I gave him back the shoes. That should be a simple ticket. >> No, you didn't. You took off running. You didn't get back. Get in now. >> In the end, Lauren J. Ora was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer. Attempting to justify or cling to irrational excuses during an investigation only escalates consequences and leads [music] to additional charges. >> What I do? >> She's in up here. >> All right, I got her. >> Come on over here. On December 17th, 2022, officers responded to a call from Walmart after receiving reports of a couple caught shoplifting on site. Upon arriving, the suspects attempted to leave, instantly escalating the tension. >> You too. >> Hey. >> Hey. Come on. >> Hold on. We got officers >> 33 to 70 and 90. We're going to make contact in the store if you all just want to each take a door. >> Why are you running? Are you running that way? Hey sir, how you doing? Do me a favor. Put your hands behind your back. You're being detained. >> What? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You're being detained. >> You got him. When the officers arrived, alarm sirens blared, explaining the staff's hurried actions. Shortly after, the man was apprehended. And naturally, the woman was taken into custody as well. >> Talk to him. >> I do. >> She's in up here. All right, >> I got her. >> Come on over here. >> The reason we're stopping you is for suspected shoplifting. So, let's go over here. >> Okay. >> This is all I got. >> We already got you on camera. >> Yeah. >> Me? >> Yes, you. Let's go right. Let's go up here. I'm going to the front. >> What did you tell me that? I'm going to go for it. >> He's already been detained by an officer. >> We're going to take a right there at the little key little black machine. Okay. >> Have a seat. >> I got contact with her. We're walking up to Loss Prevention. >> This is This the dog. Okay. >> Okay. >> Well, they got an office up here. We're going to go in there. >> Okay. >> Do you have ID on you? >> No. >> You saw it? >> Go. This office right here for me. >> No. No, they're not coming off. Go to the suspect. >> The suspects grew angry when their unnecessary demands were ignored. At that moment, the woman spotted the man and seemed to realize what was happening, making the situation far from easy. >> Last name. >> Spell that. >> G O. Date of birth. >> Huh? >> No. >> What's your phone number? >> I don't have a phone. >> Okay. What's your address? What's your What's your name, sir? >> Robert what? >> What's your name? >> Bobby. >> Bobby. What? >> We got called by Walmart because >> We got called by Walmart because they are observing their security footage and witnessed you and this individual here shoplifting by concealing items inside of a backpack. >> Do you have anything on youong? >> Okay. Don't reach in your pockets anymore. There. >> That's what I found. >> Bruise, baby. >> See, >> I'm going to loosen these up a little bit. All right. >> That was not me. >> Just Just face me for a second. I wanted pocket. short. >> I don't do that. >> I'm going to loosen up the right one now. Okay. >> I was just watching. >> I was following him. >> All right. Well, we're going to watch the video and we're going to see what happened. Okay. >> The woman insisted that she hadn't stolen anything and was merely following the man. She even began to lament her own hardships, seemingly seeking sympathy. >> My husband died last year. My mama died on July 29th and my husband died on the 28th. >> This left July 29th and my husband died on the 28th. >> This left one still too tight. >> Left arm still too tight. >> You got to call 76. >> You okay, man? >> You're saying the left left hand cuff's a little too tight. >> It's food. >> Just call merchandise. >> Oh, come on out. Uh, do we have a bag or buggy? Buggy's right here. >> Yeah, there's a buggy around the corner. >> What's up? >> It's against skin. You're going to want to keep your gloves on. >> Yeah. >> You got anything on you? That's this. >> Like I said, >> I know you lift your shirt up. I just want to make sure. Good. Go down. >> What are you carrying on about? Close this tummy. You probably just feel slight. >> Oh, yeah. Listen, please. >> You're like a >> standby on that. >> 60 central car. They're not tight. >> All right. You got a warn out for you. So, I'm going to detain you. >> Habersam. >> What the? >> Although the woman denied stealing herself, further questioning revealed that she was fully aware of the man's theft. clearly indicating complicity and cooperation in the crime >> and having these rights of mind. Do you wish to talk to us now? >> I'm saying can't be my husband. >> Okay. Well, I just need a yes or no if you want to talk. >> I just want to talk about them. >> Is that a yes? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. So, obviously we're out here for, you know, a call for reported shoplifting because I understand. I hear what you're saying, but you know, there's a difference between you just being present in the store and cooperating with him. Okay. at any point. Uh, did you all come up here to shoplift? >> We had food stamps. He supposed to be coming up here to get some water stuff cuz the medicine tank as I have water. >> Mhm. >> We're on the urge of moving cuz she's going to his mom house. >> Y'all already searched water. No lights on. >> I have not touched that yet. >> You know what I'm saying? >> Prevent. >> I'm standing over here holding the doggy. I was going to do >> playing with the little puppy thingy when I kept paying him saying, "Babe and I'm what are you? What are you? That's one of the best like somebody this way." >> Further investigation revealed that this was not the first time the man had committed such acts. Yet when questioned, the woman completely evaded any acknowledgement of it. Um, >> I just kind of fight. >> What kind? >> Oh, you mean like you fight? So you saying you never got caught saying you never >> No, I'm saying no. I went to jail. >> I asked you how many shoties you had. You said I'm a fighter. >> Yeah, I don't. >> What's up, sir? When people going to learn it, they'll come in the store and get them goddamn. When they going to learn it, they going to learn it. I don't know. They will learn. That's where you look. They going to learn. >> Um, are they doing the baring for him? >> Yeah. She said Jamie wants to meet at the restaurant. >> Oh, it's probably Rob. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Got a dog in the bathroom. Yeah, >> probably one there. >> I mean, I was going to go out here and start >> or that one. >> It was clear that neither of them showed any remorse on their faces, prompting the officers to decide to take them into custody. >> You're being arrested for shoplifting. Okay. Is this his wallet? >> Yeah, there's >> no. So that that's actually against county policy and uh none of us are getting fired for your convenience, ma'am. >> So make sure this is granola. >> I guess this is going to go back. >> Yeah. >> Come on. >> So this is a food item. So I'm going to throw it out. Okay. >> Do you all have a trash can anywhere near here? Oh, the thing I'm looking at. Thank you. >> All right. All right. You ready, ma'am? >> Go ahead and stand up. So, I got to assert you now that we know that you're going to the jail. All right. >> I'm just going to flip these. >> Yeah. I'm going to just flip them out so the jail could see that. >> You're good. Trying to keep the shirts separated. >> So, before we get you down there, I ask every single person. I'll need those items, too. >> What is that? >> This is my for my food stamps. Tissue. >> My arms. >> Yep. >> My arms. The man was booked for theft by shoplifting and the woman was booked for the theft by shoplifting and possession of cocaine. [music] Full cooperation and honesty with authorities are crucial as attempts to evade responsibility or seek [music] sympathy rarely mitigate legal repercussions.
