Do you ever wonder just how far a simple shoplifting case can escalate? >> Wait, wait, wait. >> I'm not going to play your game. So, either you talk to them, let them know what you're going to do, and get off the phone, >> or I'm going to just make you cut it. Now, >> today's video revealed the full story. Walmart shoplifter with attitude problem meets nononsense cops where this is law. Have a great day and we hope you enjoyed today's video. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and we'll see you in the next one. Beginning with this case, what lay behind it was not just a shoplifting incident, but the story of irresponsible parents. >> And there's a there's a gun in the vehicle, too, >> just sitting there next >> in the center console. >> All right, man. Where's that receipt at? >> Um I think it was in the cart. in the car. I didn't see one in there. >> On the 30th of November 2025, police received a report from Meyer about a couple who had allegedly left other family members inside their vehicle in an unsafe manner while they shopped. Even when officers approached them, they never appeared concerned and instead acted suspiciously, seemingly trying to avoid answering questions. >> What vehicle are you guys in? >> That one. >> That one. All right, cool. We need to talk to you. >> Well, we got two children in the car. Yeah, >> it's freezing out here. You already take two children in the store with you. >> I'm sorry. We was rushing. We're having our Thanksgiving dinner tonight and we was trying to rush because we got here at literally 11:58. >> Listen, man. We still >> just came back in. It just ran back out. >> Literally >> like we And there's a there's a gun in the vehicle, too. >> Just sitting there next >> in the center console. All right. >> That's an issue. >> Okay. >> You got an ID on you? >> Yeah, I do. Any any other guns on you? >> Mind if I patch you down? >> I'll put the heat on for you guys. Okay. >> Oh, I didn't know that. >> Here you go, boss. Well, you know, accidents happen, man. You don't know. They crawl around. They might play with it. >> Yeah. No, bro. You didn't get to have Thanksgiving. >> No, look, man. I'm not I'm I'm just being honest. You know, accidents happen. It's just unsafe. >> With the safety of others placed at risk by their actions, the officers were able to take decisive action against them. >> Turn around for me. Put your hands on your back. You're going to be placed under arrest. >> Child, man. >> Your rights. Okay. You have the right to make anything you say. We'll be in the court of law. Can I get my phone out? >> Hold on. Turn around for me. Put behind your back. You're going to be placed under arrest for coming out as well. >> Canada will be the right one. Will be right. All right. So, for these children, do we have family close by that's going to take control of these kids? >> We're going to work through that. Okay. >> I'm going walk you to the front of my car. Okay. >> I I'll touch you. I'll let you do that here in a second. Okay. At that point, officers discovered the situation was even more serious as it became clear they had not legitimately come to shop because multiple items were found to have never been paid for. The officers then confronted the suspects about that. >> Do you have a receipt for everything that's in there? >> I didn't bring it up. My husband did. >> Okay, I'll ask him. >> Have a seat there. >> Is there anything in your purse or anything? >> Nothing I'm going to find that's not paid for. >> Now, if you're honest now, we're going to find out anyway. So >> I only that's in there that I didn't pay for is seasoning. >> Seasoning. Okay. All right. I appreciate it. Thank you. Okay. >> It's in my >> Okay. >> Then uh it's also going to be trespass as well. You guys were already trespass for me. >> Not from this one, but from a previous one. >> All right, man. Look, I got to ask you a couple questions. Okay. It's all on camera inside. All right. Did you pay for everything that's in that card? >> Nothing. >> Okay. Okay. So, you did you skip skip can some stuff? >> Okay. Um, do you have a receipt in the bag so we can go back and see? Okay. So, I'm going to go check and we'll go from there. Okay. All right. >> So, what's the go to court downtown or it's going to be Delaware? >> We're in Delaware County right now. Have a seat right here. Okay. I'm going have you kic off your shoes for me. Do you think judging by their attitude, this was really their first time, there was no sign of remorse whatsoever? Officers then recovered all of the merchandise they had taken. >> No, man. If it's paid for, it's paid for. Whatever you guys pay for, I'll bring back out. But the stuff that's not paid for, so guys got to go back. Okay. >> So, I I had >> um I got to find out if it's paid for. If it's not paid for, then it's got to go back. Okay. Uh, so I see the receipt somewhere. >> Yeah, that's what that's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the receipt. >> Cuz if it look, if it's paid for, you guys can keep it. If it's not paid for, >> it's not paid for. >> You get it? >> Um, I got to give me a minute. I got to go back to my bag and let me take care of this and I'll get you one. Okay. >> Okay. >> Are you guys able to pull receipts up? I'm not seeing a receipt here anywhere. >> No receipt. >> She did admit to she did admit to stealing the seasoning in her purse. >> Okay. All right, man. Where's that receipt at? >> Um, I think it was in the cart. >> In the cart? I didn't see one in there. Okay. >> And one in the bag. >> Okay. How much uh how much stuff do you skip? >> There was like two items. >> Two items. Okay. And then she's got the seasoning in her purse that she took. >> Uh I don't know if you knew about that. >> Okay. Um Okay. That's all I had, man. We're going to try to figure this out. But I know it's not much, but my charges for it. Okay. >> Because of these parents' actions, everyone connected to them ended up facing the consequences. A store representative explained what they would face in the future. But pay close attention to the way they laughed. They acted as if nothing that had happened was a big deal. >> Okay. So, obviously, just to let you guys know that you're no longer allowed on minor property. That's all property where gas stations, stores, any stores we own, any property that we own, even if we have not built on it yet. >> No longer allowed on there >> like ever. >> Ever. >> Nope. So, you'll have your signature and the date. >> What if I don't sign? >> No, it still counts. >> Still counts, man. I got two officers standing right here. >> They're going to make you sign it. >> I can't make you sign it, but it still counts. It's all on It's all on video. And look, I tell you, you may real good what they do. So, they'll know if you come back in here. >> How did these [ __ ] make you ban from Meers, bro? >> I'mma be 30 years old. Like, damn, I really want some fresh vegetables and I'm not going to be able to come to Myers, bro. >> You're goofy, >> bro. In the end, the couple were charged with child endangerment, theft, and criminal trespass. Never put your children at risk or treat theft like a minor mistake because reckless choices can harm innocent lives and lead to serious criminal consequences. Next, this woman shamelessly tried every possible way to beg for leniency, unaware that it only made her seem more experienced in her wrongdoing. >> You are detained right now. Friending investigation for shoplifting, right? >> Can I just go back and pay for this stuff? >> No. So, we're going to go to the office right now. But >> I just I'm very low income. I'm a single moming. >> On the 28th of July, 2025, police received a report from Walmart after staff caught a woman on surveillance deliberately skipped scanning multiple items. When officers arrived, they immediately stopped the suspect just after she had passed the final point of sale, leaving her visibly shaken. Ma'am, >> just leave the car right here and then walk with me cuz we got you on camera right now. skip things. So right now I'm officer with our lost police department. You are detained right now pending investigation for shoplifting. Right. >> Can I just go back and pay for this stuff? >> No. So we're going to go to the office right now, but I'm letting you know that I will watch you on camera. So I'm telling you right now, you are detained at this time >> because I didn't ring up certain things. >> Yeah. And I'm not going to put you in handcuffs as long as you promise you that if you do anything other than cooperate, I will use force upon you. Okay? >> Can I choose to pay for the sale? >> No, we're past that cuz you already left all points of sale. So let's go ahead and walk over here now. I'm telling you right now, unless you I want you to listen right now. I'm escorting you over here. You can talk to them in there. I got you. But I'm telling you right now, anything other than cooperation, I will use force upon you. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, let's walk this way. I got you. >> I'm just letting you know, ma'am. I'm just advising you now. That's a warning. >> Yeah. No, no. >> From the woman's reaction, she silently admitted to the theft. Shortly afterward, inside the loss prevention office, she revealed the reason behind her actions. So, right now, like I said, we got you on camera uh folding clothes with not and not scanning all items, also the sunglasses that are in your purse. >> Okay. >> All right. Is there any other items that you have on you that you attempted to take from the store? >> No, sir. >> It's just what we saw? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> Can I see the Are you the management or >> I work for you? >> Oh, okay. Well, >> okay. And then I need your bag right now to make sure that there's no other items in there that you consume. >> No, just my personal items. I have a bunch of hair clips cuz I break them all the time. And >> if you could take it off for me, please. >> My tones, my >> Yeah. >> Are you going to give me a refund for what you pay for since mostly everything is ticketed? >> Okay. And then you're going to be charged. >> And what is going to happen today? Like am I going to get a citation and have to go for it? Um I have a special needs daughter at home, my daughter-in-law that I need to take care of. I'm very sorry for that, ma'am, but you decided to steal, so you'll be going to jail. >> No, no, I understand. >> So, today you will be going to jail. >> Are you serious? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> So, restable offense. So, what's the reason for you trying to take the items? You have money to purchase it? >> I just I'm very low income. I'm a single mom raising. I have my my two daughters, one of special needs and and very sick right now. I just >> Did she put other tags on some of them? >> Huh? >> You said she replaced some of the tags. >> The yellow that I'm taking off are the ones that she was putting on. >> Okay. Just so I could have that for my report. >> Just I mean I'm just very low income and just I don't know. I've never done this before. >> What did you think of her reason for stealing? Could you accept it? Whatever the answer, her crime could not be excused. The officer then explained the consequences she was about to face. I don't >> also Walmart Walmart would like you to be trespassed from all of them. >> So you are never welcomed at any Walmart in the city of Los Cruus. >> Okay. >> You understand? >> Yes. >> If you do come back to any Walmart, you will be arrested for trespassing. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> Like can I tell my son? >> Uh right now. No, ma'am. >> Okay. >> I'm supposed to go taste my daughter's lunch. She's supposed to. Today's her first day since she's going to be >> wondering what happened to me. >> Yeah, >> there's no way at all that anybody would be willing to give me a chance to not be actually arrested and go to court and deal with all of this. I mean, >> no, ma'am. We have a zero tolerance right now. >> I understand that. I I do I understand that. I just My daughters really need me and I've never done anything like this before in my life. You can look, my record is completely clean of everything. I just made a bad choice today. >> She appeared remorseful, but not a single tear fell, making it seem as though she was putting on an act, even the officer began to notice it. >> So, to let you know, >> yes, >> I've been doing this for a little while and watching you on camera and how calm you were. >> No show signs. >> Trust me, I wasn't calm. Well, like I said, I've been I've been observing people for the last 15 years, and when they're about to commit a crime or committing a crime, usually there's signs that they're showing that they're nervous or they're just different than everybody else. You show signs of no nervousness, no anything, no care at all while you're walking around. So, like you saying that this is the first time, I don't believe you. And I'm I'm straight up with people. >> I'm sorry. Um, I'm going to tell you right now to lie. >> I'm You have a lot right now cuz you're going to jail. >> I'm I'm being totally cooperative, totally honest about everything. >> Well, I'm just letting you know, man. >> Yeah. No. No. No. >> So, we're going to find out the total right now of what the items you attempted to deprive of Walmart and then we'll go from there. >> Um, but this is your official criminal trespass card instruction. So, like I said, you're no longer allowed on any Walmart property. That's their parking lots, >> stores. Don't come back. All right. As of right now, this is forever, >> but maybe in a couple years or a year, you could call back management and let them know and see if they decide to take this away. >> What did you think of the officer's reasoning? If you have an opinion, don't forget to leave it in the comments below. But the woman showed no sign of stopping her attempt to gain sympathy. She even called her family while maintaining the same attitude. >> Hey GJ. Um, something really bad. Um, I got caught stealing stuff at Walmart on Valley and so they are arresting me and I probably won't get out tomorrow cuz I I don't know why I do the DJ. You know why I don't do this stuff. I just, you know, things have been really tight right now and I just I don't know. But he says that it's a zero tolerance of clothes. The face wip the face wipes on needs to clean our face. I'm worried about Britney because you know to get her in sooner to the doctor but I don't know what to do. He said probably till tomorrow because I have to see the judge and I you know I tried talking to them to see if they you know just give me I don't know how it works. Interesting. They think that I, you know, a pro at doing this because he says I wasn't nervous at all. Of course, I was nervous. How do you tell? I mean, different people show all their nerves. Different people. I never done this before. Otherwise, if I was a pro, I wouldn't have got caught. Am I right? Like, you know, I'm in the office with them. Um, the truck is parked out front. I don't know. I don't know the rules of the law on that, but I don't know. Oh, there's no way it was more than $300. There's no way. >> There's probably not not even $100. >> She insisted that she hadn't stolen as much as $100, as if trying to preserve what little dignity she had left in front of her family. Shortly afterward, the officer confirmed the total value of the merchandise she had attempted to steal. >> So, this was the old one was 20 and then it came out to 132. >> Yeah. And this one should be 14, too. Okay. >> That stuff was already on. So the shirts that much? >> Yeah. Everything's priced out. So So at least $118 worth of items that you try. >> All right. >> So um what are you going to want to put in your bag? >> My wallet, my phone, my necklace. >> All right. You want come right here and do that? >> I have to take off my earrings also or >> Yeah, cuz they're not they're going to put them in your property. They're going to let you keep them. I just didn't know. >> Was the items that were on the receipt the >> correct one? >> So the ones that she paid for were the switched ones? >> Yeah, cuz I got the one >> except for the water. >> Except for the water. >> I didn't pay for the water. >> Yeah. Yeah, I got you. >> Two bucks in here. >> Okay. All right. So, she didn't pay the rack price for five items. She switched the tag out. And then the total of 13275. >> Do you know if my son is here yet or? >> I'll wait for him. >> Okay. >> Is this necessary since I'm cooperative? >> The woman was charged with retail theft and unlawful switching of price tags. Retail theft is never justified by personal hardship. One bad decision can lead to criminal charges, financial consequences, and lasting damage to your reputation and future. Even worse, the next shoplifting case didn't stop there. It escalated into the attempted abduction of a teenage girl. >> And then he pushed me out of the door and then dragged me to the truck and tried pushing me into the truck and then taking me into that car right now. >> You do not have a choice. Do you understand me? >> On the 29th of June 2025, police were dispatched after receiving a report that a man had shoplifted nearly $100 worth of merchandise. While responding to the scene, officers learned over the radio that this was far from the only crime he had committed that day. Uh we got a theft uh shoplifting around $100, a little bit under. >> Okay. Is this a different one? Cuz we have a call right now for um a Mel who's walking around. He was just destroying things. >> Yeah, I saw him. Yeah, that's the same one. Uh yeah, he just left property actually. I'm looking at him right now. He's over at the Chevy dealership. >> Okay. So >> So >> that's walking nearby the Chevy dealership. Okay, that's what the other person was saying. Just want to make sure it's the same one that you're talking of. >> On top of the shoplifting, the suspect was also reported to have vandalized another store, showing no signs of stopping. Then a 911 call came in, and this time the situation was even more serious. >> 911. What's the address of your emergency? >> I'm at the smoke shop on 20 highway 206. There's a lady being attacked. >> What's the >> I don't know. It's one he attacking her. Tell me. Talk to me. >> He's trying to put her in the car. He's in a Tacoma. Hold on. Oh god. I can't get his license plate. He's Okay, she's out of the car. Should I go? She's leaving. Should I go check on her? >> Yeah, if you can. If it's safe. Wow. WOW. >> Did he have a weapon or anything? >> No, he didn't pull anything on or nothing that I seen. >> No weapons. No. >> Just got out the truck. Every time I hear a door, I get up. He walked into the bathroom the first time. >> Just walked out immediately. And then he came back two hours later and then just walked in, used the bathroom, came back out and then immediately just came over here, started looking, walked back around the counter and then just all the way around and he grabbed a vape and a few other products and he just started throwing stuff around and eventually I was like, "Sir, can you go behind the other counter and calm down a little bit and then he started coming up on me and pushing me all the way over here and then he walked in front of me and started grabbing all of our jars up here and then took I think two of them and then just tried tried walking out, but I jumped in front of him up over here. And then that's when he was like, "What are you going to do about it?" And then he pushed me out of the door and then dragged me to the truck and tried pushing me into the truck and then taking me out of it. Like he was inside of it first and just tried dragging me and I just pushed and screamed till he let go. >> It was fortunate that the victim survived the ordeal unharmed. Do you think the same? Another thing worth recognizing was how calm she remained afterward. She provided officers with evidence of everything that had happened, making it much easier for them to identify the suspect. Yeah, that's when he was pushing me at the very beginning. Like he started from right there and he was pushing me all the way back around. >> Where's the weed at? >> Where's the weed at? >> Can you go back around the counter? We don't sell weed around here. While we hover these, >> Sir, >> sir, you're going to pay for all that? >> Yes, sir. And that's when he pushed me out of the store. >> And at that point, he was just dragging me into the truck. >> Shortly afterward, officers also interviewed a nearby witness to gather additional statements, further strengthening the case against the suspect. I could just hear her screaming like at the top of her lungs like like somebody was kidnapping like help. >> See any weapons on him or anything like that? >> No. >> What about a description of him? >> White guy. Um I want to say like I it was so hard to catch, but he wasn't old. He was like 20 to 30ish. Like a in the younger category. Probably under 30. Um brown hair. I can't remember if it's curly or wavy. I believe he had a hat on. Um, and I really don't remember the outfit. >> Remember remember what color had >> I, you know, I want to say it might have been red and like the mesh, but it honestly I was like just in shock and just reacting, so I couldn't really get his outfit. >> And then so once you asked the young lady to come over to your car and she was able to get in her car, did you see where he went? She she got in my car. But yeah, I >> as I was backing out to go over to that side cuz he was leaving um he pulled off and went left I think left down towards Crescent Beach. >> Okay. >> And I just whipped in front of that door and just told her to get in my car. >> Okay. Um Kelly, is there anything else you could think of that would be helpful for our investigation? >> Um that's everything I saw. >> No problem at all. Later that same afternoon, police finally caught up with the suspect while he was committing yet another offense by driving recklessly. Even then, he showed no sign of remorse, making it seem as though he was prepared to continue committing more crimes. >> So, get in that car right now. >> You do not have a choice. Do you understand me? >> Okay. Stop doing that. Put your feet in the car and stay still. >> Today's not the day, my friend. You might want to just sit and chill. >> You reach for something again and I'll you up. Do you understand me? >> Do not do that. In the end, the man was charged with attempted kidnapping, robbery, theft, and vehicle theft. Remember, whenever you face an unexpected situation that puts you in danger, stay as calm as possible. If you can, call the police immediately and cooperate with them by providing as much information as possible, helping officers resolve the situation quickly and bring the suspect into custody. In the next theft, the trail seemed to vanish completely until the suspect was ultimately exposed by Apple's Find My. >> You go into Find My. Here's my iPod Pro. The C they they didn't steal the earbuds. We found them in the room. >> Where are the rings? I have them. All right. Show me the rings. That would be it. And there's two of them, right? >> On the 12th of June 2026, officers responded to a Marriott hotel after receiving a report of a theft. Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and numerous personal belongings had been stolen from a guest room. This was what unfolded when officers arrived at the scene. >> So who would have been in that room? It's I mean staff like cleaning staff >> I mean during the day >> according to them so they only called the engineering. So they uh the cleaning staff and the engineering staff came in while they work here. >> Mhm. >> So that should have been happening between 7 and 11. >> Okay. And then at that time there is no request for the room. There is no uh reason anyone to go into the room. >> Yeah. But there was cleaning staff and >> before. >> Okay. Is there like a any sort of log of who goes into what room? Okay. Am I able to to see that? >> Uh I need to call my chief engineer to bring him here. So because those are electronic locks. So they need to read this lock and then get the information and then that way we can see those information. I requested you guys to be in the room because I don't want to inter I don't want to interfere with the other guests. >> Okay. Well, everything everything's fine. >> Okay. But you're being kind of loud for other guests. >> I'm I'm I'm doing an investigation right now. Everything's fine. >> Yeah. You can tell nobody's in trouble. Yeah. I just want to see at least like a list of people who who came in and out while they were gone. >> Unable to determine exactly who had entered the room, the investigation initially appeared to hit a dead end. However, the case quickly took a promising turn when the victims successfully tracked the signal from their missing AirPods, dramatically accelerating the search for the suspect. >> If it catch the signal, then you can >> play a sound. >> Yeah. >> My wife always get near. We're going to stay back and let you guys. No, no. It's She always lose her case at home like >> Yeah, someone must have >> it could be >> must have cut them off or something. >> So, the last one was uh 2 minutes ago. So, if anyone connects to that uh earphone, so you will get a notification on that. >> I Does this happen often or not? Uh the thefts happen a good amount down here. Um >> in in in hotel rooms it's a little more rare. Um >> Uhhuh. >> So it could be in the room because over here there's no >> Yeah. Well, let's let's let's pop back up there. >> All right. So I had an entry at 2320 >> prior to that. 2157 that 2150 then 7 minutes right after that. >> Okay. So, they they claim they left at 6:45 a.m. Let me confirm what they're not saying. >> The investigation once again lost its trail, but by the very next morning, the victims uncovered new leads that reignited the search. >> They That's when they they sold a bunch they stole like t-shirt, shorts, but they stole two antique rings that were given to my wife. Her dad's a retired Marine colonel, and some a really special ring was stolen. Bottom line, the reason why I called this morning was watch this. I can go into find my Here's my iPod Pro. The C they they didn't steal the earbuds. We found them in the room. >> But here is >> You stole the case. >> And here it is. And I've been tracking it all. Please. >> Can we go back to the fine line? >> Help yourself. >> I can tell it's in a car cuz I saw I could tell where it was parked. >> Is that the parking garage? No, that's at the uh >> Or is that the Oh, that's Yeah, >> but I just before where it is now. >> That's right in the dead center of the mall. >> There's a Klepto guy that I know. >> But I saw it in a uh and there was a a parking lot that it was in just a little bit ago and it was next to like a little island in the parking lot and it you could tell it was a parking space. Well, we could I could tell or I suspect it's in a it's in a car or something. >> How many people have keys to your room that >> only my wife and I? >> Okay. Do you still have your keys? Both keys. >> Both keys. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Something like that. >> I I have a hunch that it's >> quicksaw. Last name is Quicksaw. He works one of the booths at Clinton Square Market. >> So So So it was a guest key that was used. Who has access to make guest keys? >> So it'll be our front desk. >> That's it. No one else. >> It's through the front desk. >> But it's all done here. >> Yes. >> It's moving around in Clinton Square right now. So, one of us could >> could stay here. >> You know who? >> And then I know who Quicksaw is >> and then when I get there, I'll tell you to play the sound. >> Immediately afterward, they recovered some of the stolen belongings through the tracking signal, but the identity of the suspect behind the theft still remained a mystery. >> Hey, so yeah. So, someone pointed out that this was here. So, we just needed to see if we can find the owner. >> See, my shoes Oh. um the other call that we were on from last night. Let me show you the ring that it's pretty distinct ring that was stolen. >> So, we'll have to check the uh have to check the jewelry shops to see if someone tried to sell it for me. >> Yach club. >> Yach club hat was stolen. Annapolis yach club. Yeah. >> Well, that might be tied to the case we were just on. Matt, >> hey, that's the employee and she said she doesn't know who this is. Well, that's why I called it out as a 44 that >> Your name is Mity. >> Mity. >> Mity. Uh, you work for the property? >> I work for And this uh um someone left all this property behind and you want to turn it into us cuz it's taking up a table. >> I would. >> All right. All right. Thank you very much. >> I will check it and go from there. I >> got it, baby. I got it. >> This is it. >> 34 to 30. I've located the speaker, AirPods, and sunglasses. Uh, I found a picture of Mr. Foron's ID. It was with the stolen property. Uh, yeah, I think she'll be able to describe them. I got to find her again cuz she left the area. But if we can get cameras, there's camera pointed like right at him. So when I walked in, I saw him in this building and he was scurrying around, but I didn't think he was the suspect at the time. We were pinging the thing and I was walking around trying to see if I could hear the thing ringing. Uh I couldn't, but he got he scrambled around like I saw pacing and then he grabbed his bike and took off. I think he probably still has the jewelry on him. Later that same afternoon, officers finally tracked down the suspect. He showed no sign of embarrassment as he openly admitted to everything he had done. >> Obviously, there's four of us around here, so you're not under arrest right now, but you're being detained. We have to have a conversation, but I let you know your rights. Yes, sir. You understand those rights? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. There you go. >> Um, >> the man was charged with burglary of a non-residential structure and grand theft of property valued at approximately $8,000. Don't assume an unattended room or a found key gives you permission to take what isn't yours. One impulsive decision can quickly lead to serious felony charges. Next, shame was nowhere to be found in this shoplifter's dictionary. >> He empties the He takes out the trash can and fills the box with merchandise. I can't wait. I never do this anymore. I just did it because I >> On the 11th of July 2023, police were dispatched to IKEA after receiving reports of a shoplifting incident. At the same time, another team of officers located the suspect based on the earlier description. When confronted by police, he offered a series of questionable excuses. >> So, right now, you're being investigated at theft. That's it. That's all I got for you right now. So, as soon as we get more details from my relay to you, but that's why you're being detained right now because my kids wait. >> Okay. Moments later, the shopping cart filled with the merchandise he had abandoned was found, leaving him no choice but to admit what had happened. >> They said you were putting all this stuff on me. Yeah. >> This is what he does. He's been doing it for months. >> Yep. >> Go to jail. >> Yeah. I'm sorry. >> Well, whatever. >> I can't wait. I never do this anymore. I just did it because I need money. >> Just sell it. >> Where do you sell it? And sell it in somewhere. So, uh, you is it one of you? Hey, one of us. >> Yeah. Welcome to it, boys. You're going to be placed on arrest for stoplifting IP is going to sign a complaint against you. >> Turn around. >> All right. >> And then what is it going to be? You're going to go ahead and say I know you're going to go to the police station. They're going to process you and depending on your criminal history, have you ever been arrested before? >> Sure. Then you should be released for you. >> Yeah. Where's your car? >> He appeared remorseful, but only because he had been caught. In reality, he showed no guilt for what he had done and even seemed irritated by everything that was happening. >> They put that in his job. >> Come back here, get your car. Someone can pick you up. But, you know, we'll but you're just going to go to the police station. They're going to process you and they release you. All right? Like I know he was telling you're going to jail. Put them back on. >> Finally, the man was charged with shoplifting. Don't let greed or desperation justify dishonest choices because one theft can lead to criminal charges and lasting consequences. Let's take a break from the shoplifting cases and witness the chaotic ordeal involving this woman. >> I know my rights. I'm a I'm a nurse. I see you. CC you 20 years. Don't with me. Get me? >> Would you trust this nurse to care for you or your loved ones? In her condition, every claim she made about her professionalism seemed meaningless. Instead, her crude behavior only escalated the tension even further. >> What address did you come from? >> None of your business. >> Well, it kind of is. Cuz you called the police. Leave me the alone. Offing pigs, man. Iinging hate the police. >> Well, why'd you call us then? >> I didn't want to call you. I called the ambulance. You showed up. >> Okay. She should be held accountable for her actions and understand that running only made the situation worse and strengthened the case against her. Worse, the man showed absolutely no remorse at all. >> You took some stuff. Do you have a receipt for that? >> No. No. >> Did you steal it? >> Yeah. Okay. You steal by yourself? >> No, I what ammo? Your grandma? >> On the 17th of April 2026, police approached a man who was suspected of shoplifting at a store. What was particularly notable was that the man quickly admitted to his actions and showed no signs of remorse. >> Hey, what's up, man? >> It's Kamaldi. No. Okay. Shortly afterward, the police returned to the store to recover and return the merchandise. During the sorting process, they determined that the items did not come from just one store among the recovered goods. >> Yeah. Sorry. >> Are these all your guys? >> No, that's Walgreens. I'm looking at the logo on top of it. >> I think this might be the Walgreens. It's not one of those. >> Yes. >> Probably Walgreens. >> Walgreens. >> Do you have a garbage bag or anything I could Do you have a garbage bag or anything I could put this stuff in? The amount of merchandise was so large that the police had to spend a considerable amount of time sorting through it shortly after the total value of the goods from this store alone was determined with a specific figure. >> These ones kind of like let me see traffic for 72. Okay, this might be his cuz it's kind of like >> $25913. Actually, that's maybe worth 10. >> In the end, he was formally charged with retail theft and related offenses. Even when someone admits to wrongdoing, a lack of remorse does not reduce responsibility in the eyes of the law. In the end, repeated theft and involvement with multiple stores only strengthened the case against him, leading to formal charges and legal action.
