Do you have receipts for these? >> No, we don't have no receipt cuz we did not pay for this. I just literally walked out the store, >> my girl. Let's go. >> Take that jacket off. Take it off. The stolen jacket. Take it off. I already >> I'm not going to ask you. >> Get down. I don't >> taser. Patience is one of the greatest virtues a person can have. But some people treat it like a challenge, especially shoplifterss who constantly resorted to tricks and deception to test the patience of police officers. How would it all end? You'll find out in today's video when cops lost patience with these psycho wall martians. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Starting with this dishonest shoplifter. She even brought her own mother along to take part in the theft. Doesn't matter if you're skip scanning items, concealing items, swapping tags, still considered shoplifting, still considered fat. >> You even see the sticker on it. >> Yeah. >> She only scanned one. >> Mhm. >> On the 24th of April 2025, police were dispatched to Walmart after reports of a shoplifting incident. The suspect was believed to be a woman with a prior history of theft, but this time she had allegedly brought a family member along to help carry out the scheme. Here was what happened. According to store employees, >> the one that did the time switching on this part. >> So, but um they they did both like they under a sweatshirt like together like they were right there. The mom was trying to insert her car and she looked at her and the lady the other girl just grabbed it and put it in a bag. >> So, they were there the whole time for all of it. I mean, I can pull up the video. It's fine. Whatever you do. >> I was going to say this is going to be awesome's call. So, the it's a mom and daughter duo >> supposedly. Uh yeah, supposedly mom and daughter. Daughter apparently has a really bad attitude, which I'm sure we'll do great with. >> Great. >> Um >> he must have forgot the butter or something. >> But um do mom, they've been trying to catch mom for a while for tag switching. Apparently they went up to the register and mom was on the phone while daughter was scanning stuff, but they were right there together the whole time. And then mom goes to pay for everything and like they kind of do a little switcheroo with the the sweatshirt that they under rang. So there is some tag switching in this one that they're assuming was the mom, but it was actually the daughter ringing up everything. So it's going to be >> boss. Okay. >> So, it's going to be one of >> I don't even know if she's a >> Let's go get IDs first and then we can figure out. >> Immediately afterward, officers approached both suspects who had already been taken to the loss prevention office. From the looks on their faces, neither of them appeared to realize the serious consequences that were about to unfold. >> How old are you? >> 21. >> Lexio. Do you have an Arkansas driver's license or ID? >> Do what? >> No. >> You've never had an ID out of any state? Okay. So, what state is it out of? >> Here in Arkansas. >> It's out of Arkansas. Okay. So, do you have an Arkansas driver's license or ID? >> The mom's medication. >> Not not on general. Just in general. Okay. All right. Perfect. >> This comes back. You're going to jail. I'm just >> That's your ID. >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> I forgot this was concealed in the mom's medication. >> That was not paid for. Well, Chris is saying that the mom's taking it all the >> You can't take charges. >> No. >> It's a tag switcher, right? >> Mhm. >> So, the mom >> that was on here. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Was anything skip? >> Oh, nothing. >> This was skip. This was skip. >> This was tag switched. >> The young lady was scanning. So, both of them. >> Yeah. >> Perfect. So they used multiple theft methods from skip scanning to switching price tags, further proving just how experienced the motherdaughter duo had become. While the daughter smiled and seemed convinced she could still get away with it, the police made a decision that caught her completely by surprise. >> Oh, stand up. You're going to jail anyways. Come on. >> Hold on. For what? >> Stand up and I'll tell you now. >> What? >> Jesus. Big purse. What did you do to her? >> I'll we'll explain it. >> So in 2023, you were charged with theft of property and found guilty, >> right, in Little Rock? >> So any any subsequent theft after that within 10 years >> is automatic felony. Automatic felony. Doesn't matter if you're skip scanning items, concealing items, swapping tags, still considered shoplifting, still considered theft. Do you have something on your >> report? So today you'll be charged with a class B felony. >> What is that? >> Felony. >> Not a misdemeanor. >> Yeah, it's it's a a higher charge. So she's going to go to jail and have to >> theft of property. >> Stole it. >> You can even see the sticker on it. >> Yeah. >> She only scanned one. Mhm. Move your foot. What ma'am? Swing County Jail. >> Clearly at 21 years old, the woman should have understood the consequences of her actions. Perhaps following her mother's lead had made her overlook what she was truly risking. At that point, the police explained the consequences they were AB. you were saying about her that she get bills fund or you say another word monetary. So I don't know if it's going to be a like a a bail like it could be you know like they they could set like a $1,000 bail or make pay money or they could do a bond meaning she just has a sign promising she'll show up in court >> and they'll let her out. I don't know what you're going to do. Would this be your first felony at >> with the bond? Like, okay. I'm not sure how bonds work, but like can you do that like in payments or like you have to do like one big old thing like >> No, if you can't afford it all at one time, you have to get a bondsman. You have to put something up as collateral to them and they'll pay it for you. So, you got a car or something like that or house? >> Usually about how much is the bond? Like a rough estimate >> for aft for deft property? What? I don't know. Probably $1,000. >> I truly don't know. And they may o you and just boot you. >> Yeah. >> The signature bond where they make you promise to show up in court and then they let you go without any money. >> Pretty sure they're going to make her see a judge. >> They will with a felony she has to. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. Cuz they're at 213. They're not even at capacity. >> What's capacity? >> So what happened? >> 225. Huh? >> Oh, I was asking her what happened at that time. I didn't know. >> Oh, well she is an adult. Is it mom, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So, this is a ticket for theft of property, shoplifting, less than $1,000. Okay. >> So, your coordinate, >> she'll get to go home. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She'll get to go home. >> And technically, your driver's license is expired. You need to go get a new one. >> Uh, I'm waiting on my passport so I can get the new driver license. >> Yeah. The real ID is then I will be >> so I'm waiting. >> If you get pulled over between now and then, they're not going to care. I'm just telling you. >> Expired already. >> We all know that when someone commits a crime, they not only face legal consequences, but may also be required to compensate the victim. Walmart has its own trespass policy for offenders. But just take a look at her attitude. >> This is a >> trespass. Trespass meaning that you can't go to any Walmart, Murphy Station, anything with the Walmart signature on at Sam's Club. Doesn't matter. >> You are trespassed from all of them in the state of Arkansas. Actually, it's everywhere. Yeah. You're you're trespassed from all of them. >> Even overseas. >> When? >> Uh forever. >> Can never come back. >> If you are found back here, you can be charged with commercial burglary if you commit another crime. >> I can't go to the gas station. >> Nope. >> You will be >> If I go to the gas station, I'll >> You will be arrested for criminal trespass. If you steal from there, you'll be you'll be found guilty of commercial burglary. That's kind of absurd. I can't pump gas at a certain gas. You can go to any other gas station. >> Don't be a thief. It's not that hard. >> Wasn't talking to you. >> I don't care. >> Um, so this is >> the 21-year-old woman was charged with felony theft of property after a prior theft conviction within the previous 10 years while her mother was cited for shoplifting under $1,000. Every choice has consequences, and ignoring past mistakes only makes those consequences more severe. Taking responsibility early can prevent a moment of poor judgment from becoming a life-changing problem. Next, these women casually shoplifted without showing any remorse. >> No, we don't have no fear cuz we did not pay for this. I just literally walked out the store cuz I'm like, "Oh, yeah. Now y'all saying we want to steal." Oh, yeah. And I started walking out. >> That's how I knew you was about to steal. >> That's how I knew you was about to steal. On the 19th of April 2025, officers responded to the parking lot of a Walgreens after receiving reports of a shoplifting incident. The suspects were allegedly two women carrying bags filled with unpaid merchandise. When officers approached them, the women's unproven excuses only made the situation appear even more suspicious. >> Cuz I can pay for my own stuff. >> So what's >> She got a problem that we we got our stuff in our gift bag. >> We was going in the store to pay for our stuff. We wing the gift. I have money right here in my wallet. >> So she was made some comments. >> She was She was like, "Hey, what?" She said, "Wait, y'all cannot be right there in this aisle right here with these bags." Something like y'all So y'all came into the store with the bag. >> No, these are their bags and then we grab the bag still up there paying for her juices. We never came here to steal. We paying for our stuff. We just I have cash. We make it out the store. We feeling we would have went in there. And >> I got you. So my question is, do you have receipts for these? No, we don't have no seat cuz we did not pay for this. I just literally walked out the store cuz I'm like, "Oh yeah, now y'all saying we want to steal." Oh yeah. And I started walking out. Yeah. But no, I was never No, my attention never come here to steal nothing. My friend came $20. >> What the [ __ ] >> Y'all this your friend, too? >> Okay. >> All right. Let me get some ID from y'all. I guess >> Left. >> Yeah. Come on. Yeah. Let's Let's >> Come on. That look awful. What they doing, too? >> They claimed they had walked out because an employee insulted them by suspecting them. At the officer's request, they returned to resolve the situation, but their irritated attitude made the situation completely tense. >> We grabbed the gift bag. We wanted to put all our stuff in the bag and we didn't even get get Wait, listen. Listen. Can I tell you something? I already seen you before on camera. I don't even >> That's how I knew you was about to spill. That's how you I can still go. I'm just telling you. >> You You too. You ain't got no receipt for it. >> All right. So, put it down. >> I want no trespassing. >> Okay. So, Miss Lulu, what you want there? >> I want no trespassing against I'm telling you, ma'am. I had money on me. I was never going to steal. >> I wasn't going to steal it. That's I'm telling you. I'm not going to steal it. No. Okay. Okay. Whatever. I'm not going to go back and forth. >> No, I'm not going back. I'm trying to have a conver you going to pay for this stuff. >> Yeah. I was about to pay for this stuff. It was all stuff. >> I got money. It's not the way you came. You said y'all CANNOT BE RIGHT HERE. NO, I SAW you put the stuff in your bag. >> So, y'all do y'all want to resolve this? Y'all want to resolve this and I'm not needed. >> I don't know what they want to do. They want to pay for their stuff. >> Let Let me talk to them. Thank you. Now, the reason why she called us because y'all left up out the store without paying for it. Once you do this dough and you don't pay for it, >> it's over with. >> You feel me? Regardless if you got money or not, if you had that, then you would have paid it up at the register. >> I ain't even get a chance to get >> No, no, no, no. I'm not even trying to hear that. Cuz once you do this door and you took items that you ain't paid for, make it make sense, y'all. Now, are y'all paying for the stuff or not? >> Yes. >> During the argument, she admitted to taking the items without paying for them. She showed no remorse because she still believed she could pay for them. But it was already too late as the employee had made a different decision. >> And then what you matter of fact, nope, cuz I don't want them in here. They don't got to pay for it. just leave cuz they going to try to pay for it and then bring it back cuz they was going to steal it anyway. So, no, just leave. >> So, let me get your name. >> And I want to know trespass. >> Okay, I got you. >> How you come out the house with no ID on you? >> I left my phone. >> You got a picture of it? >> No, it's a brand new ID. >> I literally left my whole >> You can't get a picture. We got to take you in and do a fingerprint for it. So, >> what? >> Yeah. So, somebody got to >> I literally Let me see if I have a picture. I even send a picture of my ID or something. >> And then you got your ID on YouTube. >> Why would I do that? >> People do it. People do it. >> I don't even know if I got a picture of my ID on my phone. Got the ID, bro. Yeah, it's over with y'all. >> Hey, can we step over here? >> All right. I'll see you tomorrow in the city. What the hell? Don't have that wallet on. >> Next time you know they'll come out the house without no ID on you. >> The name and then have some records email work email. >> You ran her already. She wait, >> do [clears throat] you have a picture of my ID? I left my wallet at home. >> That decision came from the store, but because they had already passed the final point of sale, the officers decided to place them in handcuffs. By then, they had completed the necessary procedures to do so. >> All FSA items like condoms and stuff like that. >> Oh, yeah. >> So, that's included in that. >> It's all grand total. to get that done. >> Yeah. >> So that is all. >> Do you got any weapons or anything on you? >> Stand right here real quick. I got to pat you down before I put you in my car. All this is how the man cut right on you. Watch your Hold on. I got >> this. You have to um >> You have the money. Okay. Did you guys not walk out with all the stuff? Huh? You guys walked out with all the stuff? That's a retail theft. Hey, guess what? The owner managers didn't wanted to sign complaints. That's why he didn't. So, next time, don't walk out without paying. >> Okay. >> The women were charged with retail theft and unlawful possession of cannabis. Thinking you can simply pay later does not erase a theft once the crime has already been committed. Ignoring the rules, arguing with employees, and refusing to take responsibility only turned a preventable mistake into criminal charges and an arrest. Next, the woman says she was profiled. Employee says she was stealing. >> I was stealing. Your cameras don't even work. And you didn't even see me steal anything. I didn't put anything in my bag. >> As soon as she seen me coming down the aisle, she set it down on top of the purse and started going through shirts. >> On the 2nd of January 2021, police responded to a Dollar Tree after reports emerged of a woman allegedly concealing merchandise inside a large handbag she carried. This was what unfolded when officers arrived at the scene. >> I caught her with her big purse. She kneel down over here, was starting to put stuff in her purse. >> That bag there. Soon as she seen me, she stopped and set the stuff just on top of the purse and then started act like she was going through shirts. >> Okay. >> Told her that's fine. Give me my product out. Leave the store. I do not have to wait on you. >> Mhm. >> I have the right to refuse service to you. >> No, you don't. >> Okay. So, as I was doing, I went down the first two aisles. I got some doggy toys. Everything I picked up was right there under about $5. I just came from Walmart where I spent like $70. He threw my bag out. He picked my personal bag up. Tossed it out here with no regard to my fragile items, which this is a $500 iPad. I have no reason to steal from him. I came to pick up a few things. I kneel down in another aisle to get a shirt. I was going to pick out pink and I laid some items on top of my bag. it. Putting store merchandise into a personal bag while shopping was never a good idea. She tried to justify that behavior by continuing to play the victim, even going as far as questioning the employees actions. >> Been profiled and harassed by this man for no reason. I even passed him in the aisle beside the bleach and he seen me walking. I was carrying my items in my hand because I didn't pick up a basket or a push cart. And I told him, I said, "You can't even put me out for you haven't even proven I've stolen anything. So, how am I trespassing? I haven't even broken a law. So, I told him I was recording this and I will file my complaint personally. I want to file harassment charges and I want him uh to apologize because I haven't stole anything. I just came from Walmart and you can see my receipts on my car. I'm parked on the side over here. Then, like I told him, you cannot touch people's items when they come into your store. That is my personal bag. He picked it up. He dropped it outside the door. And like I told him, I'm not going to stand for this. In this state, we've had a lot of issues of people disrespecting black women and disrespecting black people in general. And he is very wrong. And if he thought that there was theft, he could have called the police ahead of time instead of approaching me. And I've worked at other stores such as Target, and they don't even allow associates to approach anyone for theft. You can be fired for such a thing like this. >> She clearly tried to convince the officers that she was being discriminated against, and that it was all a misunderstanding. However, the employee still exercised his rights against her. No, >> I want her out of the store. >> Okay. >> Out of the store cuz she's lying and I store. >> Are your all's cameras working? >> Yes, they are. >> You mind if we take a look real quick? >> And as soon as the stuff was got ready to go down the purse, as soon as she seen me coming down the aisle, she set it down on top of the purse and started going through shirts. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, but you didn't see her stuff anything in the the bag >> other than ready to do that. Okay. You know what I'm saying? >> But then she set them down next to it or whatever. >> On top of it. >> On top of it. >> On top of it and just pushed the bag down. >> Okay. Okay. >> So, you're going to refuse her service? >> Yes. You do not want >> because she is her glass car interrupted my business. >> Okay. and you do not want to let her purchase the items that she >> The employee however told a very different story from the woman's and based on his decisions officers explained to her what would happen next. >> Okay. So we talked to him. He does not want to let you purchase your items and he wants you out of the store. >> Okay. But did you get to review the cameras which you went back there to do? >> We were reviewing the cameras. We were unable to see anything. >> The the way the angle was, it wasn't it wasn't showing where you were even. My suggestion to you would be call corporate if if that's what you >> Well, I'd like to call corporate with a police report to document the the incident. >> So, you would like >> harassment and profiling, racial profiling as well. And I I I definitely will send all of that documentation to corporate. We can get all that accounted for. Did I take you going to take down anything? Can I get a report card or anything? >> Yeah, let me get your information. We'll step outside so I can get your info. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. in the store because you can't really not come in the store because I'm traffic. You have to go through several things to ban someone from a property. You have to even put that in writing. >> In the end, with no concrete evidence, the woman was allowed to leave with a trespass warning and she had the right to pursue action against the store if she chose to. In this situation, [music] do you agree with the employees decision to refuse service or with the woman who insisted on making a purchase after being denied service? Leave a comment below. Next. [music] This woman posed as a mother to steal $2,000 worth of merchandise. >> Take that jacket off. Take it off. The stolen jacket. Take it off. I already >> Okay, that's what I'm asking you. Come on. >> A baby in here, right? >> No, just making sure the baby's not getting suffocated. On the 27th of December 2024, officers responded to a popular shopping mall after receiving reports of a suspicious woman pushing a stroller completely covered by a blue blanket. The moment they approached her, the situation quickly turned tense as officers had already uncovered what was really going on. >> Let's go. Let's go. Just come this way. >> Let's go. >> Yeah, >> exactly. >> You know me, right? I don't have no alarm. I was bringing it back. >> You're wearing the coat you stole. Stop playing. Listen. Look at me. We know each other, right? Stop playing. >> I didn't stop playing. I was bringing it back. >> Stop playing. >> I don't have no alarms on this stuff. >> Just relax. >> I didn't take none of this stuff. >> I've been watching you the whole time. Stop. Look at me. Look at me. Remember, >> I got the heard. >> I understand what you saying. What is none of that stuff? >> I don't want to hear your I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear it. [ __ ] >> I don't want to hear it. >> So, I got sensors on that stuff. No, cuz you took them off. >> Clearly, the officers were already familiar with both the woman and her behavior, while her attitude only further demonstrated how experienced she was at dealing with law enforcement. >> Stop. Look, look, look. I've always been fair with you. Right. Right. We can do it this. Come on. Stop playing. Take that jacket off. Take it off. >> The stolen jacket. Take it off. I already said I don't look at me. Look at me. Take your setup. Stop. You're getting worked up. I'm getting worked up. >> He's going to sort it out. >> Look at me. You're trying. You're making this bigger than it is. >> I've been fair with you always, right? >> That's fine. That's fine. I'm not trying to fit nothing on you. You didn't come with You got to turn around though. You know the drill. How you >> Stop. Stop. We'll talk inside. Right. >> Inside. >> Inside headquarters. Some of the stuff that I didn't get from here always, right? >> Yes. >> What I'm saying to you is >> I don't want you to recharge me for stuff I was trying to exchange. >> I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. >> Some of that stuff I came in to have a bag of decoy. So all that stuff I didn't look at today. Have I have I done it? >> I don't want you to do that. >> She showed no shame in stealing or denying what she had done, yet seemed embarrassed about being handcuffed in public. However, because of the level of experience she displayed, officers decided to arrest her on the spot to ensure she had no opportunity to flee. >> Anything yet exchang like a gentleman, I've escorted you over to the hallway instead of doing that in front of everybody. I'm trying to charge you with something you didn't control. Okay, >> right now it is what it is. So, let's just [ __ ] your jacket. I was trying to pick up your carpet here. >> Yes. >> Relaxed. Actually, I'm next. I don't want him to walk me all the way through the procedure. No, that's our procedure. That's why we're right here. You over to the hallway instead of doing that in front of >> That's why we're not doing it in front of the elevator escalator. Hold on. Hold on. >> All that stuff is not >> Okay, we're going to sort it out once we get to headquarters and then you're good. >> What's your name? Ami. >> What is it? >> You know that. >> Okay, that's what I'm asking you. >> Come on. A baby in here, right? >> No. >> Just making sure the baby's not getting suffocated. >> I got I got it. I got it. She used a baby stroller as a tool for theft, while others believed she was a mother deserving sympathy. Yet, even as she was escorted to the patrol vehicle, she showed absolutely no remorse for her actions. >> I didn't say a word about sending you to count. >> I have you under for shoplifting right now. That's the least of your words. Come on. I do nothing else. >> Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Come on. >> But I don't want you to take that, you know. If you claim you've been watching me, you would have seen I came in with bags. >> That's what you said. >> Yeah, but you know I'm good at what I do, right? >> Right. But you seen I have a bag full of stuff under there, right? You seen that, right? >> I I seen it. I didn't say nothing about that. >> Right. So there stuff in here that you come in here. >> Well, okay. But what I'm saying is when you start feeding me lines of [ __ ] That's it is what it is. >> I got you. Okay. Whatever. >> No. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> He took my phone. It's not like that. >> He took my phone. He has come with everything. Everything's >> Can you zip it up so nothing don't fall out, please? >> It's zipped. >> It is zipped. >> You're I'm wrong. I apologize. >> I'm What's your last name? >> Uh, >> it's in the system. I just What is it? Just for our records. >> In fact, she still refused to admit to any wrongdoing. Even after arriving at the police station, the woman remained silent and avoided addressing the situation while officers carried out the search procedures. >> Stand my face on the wall right quick. Want to take this cough off? You're going to put your hand up on the wall. You all right? >> Mhm. Right on. >> Put that up on the wall. Don't move. >> Jesus [ __ ] Christ. About to break a hip in here. Put the hand up on the wall. Don't move until I tell you to. >> Hey, Cass. Do you mind? I know you're doing other stuff, but >> I got to take this off, right? >> You got to take everything off. Just give not not everything. Just we got a female officer coming to search you real quick. >> Can Sorry. I know you're I know you're involved. >> Thank you. >> Those are yours, right? >> Yes, ma'am. >> The woman was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools. A baby stroller may have helped conceal the theft, but it could not hide the truth forever. Trying to avoid responsibility only made the consequences more severe once the evidence was uncovered. Next, this woman stole during Thanksgiving as if the holiday gifts belong to her. >> All the clothes and stuff. >> Yeah. >> All this stuff right here. >> Okay. >> And right here. >> They're going to jail for theft. >> What's the What is the state jail? What is the >> state jail felony? >> No. On the 30th of March 2024, police received a report from Walmart about a woman who pushed a cart full of Easter baskets and related merchandise out of the store without paying. When approached, both the suspect and her companions suspiciously denied everything. >> Ma'am, hi. Can I talk to you? >> Who's all in the car with you? >> Why? >> So, we got a call from Walmart saying that you stole some items from them. >> Not me. I wasn't I didn't even go in Walmart. >> You weren't in Walmart? >> No, man. >> Okay. Okay. And then how many other people are inside the car? >> Relax. You just put your stuff down for me. Do you have an ID on you? >> Yes. >> Okay, there's more inside. >> My baby in there, ma'am. I was just giving them a ride. Yeah, I don't know what's going on. I was just giving them riding. She told me to take something back. So, hey, sure. Officer Man Police Department. Stop the police. We got a report about a shoplifting that occurred at Walmart. They just grabbed this vehicle. They grabbed you. They just grabbed that female there. Okay. Do you have any weapons on you? >> Okay. I'm going to check for weapons. Okay. Just turn around. Face away from me. You're not under arrest. Okay. You're just a tank. Just like that. It's just a four vehicle. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Have a seat on the curb right here. >> You got your ID on you? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I ain't got time for this cuz I'm dealing with CPS. I just closed my >> So, who were you giving a ride? Who is that in there? Los. >> Who is she, too? >> Um, she's my home girl, but that's her boyfriend. >> She said she got her in. >> I need your ID, ma'am. >> Three suspects were identified, making the case far more complicated. One remained silent. [music] Another tried to steer the conversation elsewhere, while the third calmly denied everything as if they were all professionals at this. >> The report that we got accurately described this gentleman and that and that lady there. Okay. And the cult. All right. and the merchandise that's in >> they stole over $100 worth of Easter merchandise which is in the car right now. >> Okay. >> Are you aware of this? >> He was not. He was coming over here to get our car and we >> going to go back in and pay for it. >> No. >> This is about shoplifting. They saw you shoplift from Walmart. >> Okay. Is that your girl? >> No. >> Her name was Simon. >> Who's that? Frank. >> Frank. Did she steal? >> No. >> No one stole? >> No. >> Did you go into Walmart? >> No. >> Yeah. Did you get anything? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> I don't know what they was doing, ma'am. I was just giving her a ride and Yeah. I needed the gas. >> I promise you. >> Yeah. So, what's the issue? >> You didn't pay for it before you left the store is the issue. That's called stealing theft. Right. >> Actually, I was looking for my boyfriend. >> Okay. So, she said um she got her income tax to give her a ride and uh she was going to give me some gas and I needed the gas cuz I just got my car cuz I had got my income tax. >> I haven't seen her in like in a long time. My case closed. >> Your case for what? >> Uh CPS. And I don't need all this. I just needed gas, ma'am. I swear >> people exited the store with merchandise without paying for that merchandise, which is a criminal offense, which is why we are here. She didn't need the two bunnies because she don't have enough. She don't got no more money and she needs to pay me my gas. That's exactly what she just said. Do you have video? >> Yeah, I'm pulling up video of everything. all those items. She was selecting Easter baskets. So, I'm trying to learn what time I started selecting Easter baskets. >> So, I was in there. We were shopping for stuff at Easter obviously. And then like I thought he left me and he went to the restroom. I was looking for my credit card. He had it. But I was on the phone with my friend and she was making it more than what it was. She was like, "Oh, he probably took off on you. He probably left with some." As I'm walking like with the basket, I'm like talking to him. I was not even aware like at the moment literally. And that's when my friend was like, "We're all going to go back in here with the stuff and pay for it >> cuz he had my card." >> Okay. Yeah, that's not what she's saying. We're gonna put your handcuffs and we're going to escort you back there. Okay. >> Just put your hands behind your back. Stand up for us. >> You have anything in your pockets? >> I probably do. >> Immediately after successfully taking the suspect into custody, officers began recovering the merchandise from the vehicle. The sheer amount of stolen goods raised an obvious question. How could she remain so calm and keep making excuses with that much merchandise sitting in the car? All >> this right here. All the clothes and stuff. >> Yeah. All this stuff right here. >> Okay. >> And right here. >> She said that to come bring her out here to this one because they don't have a max. So, guys, >> all right, let's have a seat back in, please. >> By this point, the woman had broken down in tears inside the patrol car, but it did not appear to be out of remorse. Instead, it seemed like yet another attempt to gain sympathy and continue making excuses for her actions. >> Miss Leblanc, >> please talk to the manager. On the 4th of May 2022, police were dispatched to a bar after receiving reports of an intoxicated woman who refused to pay for services. At that point, the officer explained the situation to her. >> Okay. So, basically what's happened is they tried to use your card and it got declined because they think that it's flawed, the bank. So, what you have to do, which I don't know if you can do that now in the state that you're in, is contact the bank. Not going to work. You have Apple Pay, they can they'll accept Apple Pay. Yet moments later, she seemed fine and continued arguing with them. >> Without hurting you. >> We have to do without hurting you. >> You do it the most. Porsche Johnson was also arrested for obstructing officers by interfering with the arrest and attempting to recover the stolen merchandise. Resisting arrest and interfering with police only turn a minor crime into a much more serious situation with greater consequences. Before we get to the next shoplifter, let's change the mood with this chaotic incident. >> I'm not talking about you. Look at Look at how he's looking at you. What you're doing is illegal. YOU GUYS CANNOT do this. This is illegal. LIKE, WHAT the >> On the 1st of May 2025, officers responded to a cannabis dispensary after reports of a disturbance. And then the that that bigger lady that was just standing right there, she came and snatched the tablet out of the lady's hand. And she was like, "Nope. You know what? We're not going to serve her." >> Her behavior only seemed to reinforce the allegations against her. Although the dispensary simply wanted her to leave, she came up with a shocking excuse to refuse doing so. >> I just paid $20 to come up here. The only the only thing that I was trying to get resolved was for me to buy my weed and leave. And you know there's other places to buy weed, right? >> I just $20 here. >> Why you got that? >> I don't have the problem with you. That's not how this works. >> What she said was essentially an admission that she had been involved in situations like this before. Worse still, her refusal to cooperate only pushed the encounter further into chaos. >> But yeah, you're not free to leave. Okay. >> Don't touch. >> She's not free to leave. I'm not going to touch you. You're not free to leave. >> I'm not under arrest. >> You cannot. >> What? You don't you don't touch me. >> What do you mean? So, I don't really know. >> Although she appeared cooperative in providing information. The woman was actually quite familiar to the officers who even knew her real name to uncover her criminal history. >> Hey, do you got a warrant on uh Natasha Nash? Natasha Nash. >> Obviously, I think >> this looks like her. She's giving me a different name, but >> a little worse than others. >> She ain't my nique. Yeah, it's going to be her. I'm not married. >> Not married? >> I've never been married. No, sir. >> Yeah. >> Thus, the woman deliberately concealed her identity, even denying being a mother or a wife. However, shortly after, she began to change her statements. >> Right now, you being detained >> for what? So, you just stand by that here for just a second and I'll get you on your way. >> No, I got I wonder why. Because it's >> Yeah, because you are you appear to be someone that we're looking for. >> Oh, no. I don't know who that is. I can't say mean I'm not do the person you look for. GET ON THE GROUND. >> OH, I didn't do nothing. >> I got behind the behind the old Mexican restaurant. >> Anybody get it? PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND ME. THIS very act of fleeing made everything worse and it implicitly admitted that she carried guilt. Yet she still showed no remorse and continued to portray herself as the victim. Run stand up as running. >> Let's go. I need a taser pro. I was trying to get the red light, but I can't. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You smoke and you just run. You do that. Stand up. Stand up. >> Okay. Sit on your butt. Hold back. Right here. >> Sit down. Right here. Sit down. That's it. I got you. >> Go ahead and roll with it. >> It was evident that the woman had nothing but deception. And shortly after the medical team arrived and confirmed that her condition was merely a ploy. And you know, you know, I've always give you ample opportunity. I always give you me. here. They didn't check your Bible. You good? >> This old man. I was coming out the red lights. Old man pull over last. >> I had to go through the courthouse for grass. Uh she didn't hit the didn't hit the ground or nothing like that, but it got her attention enough for her to stop running. >> So um she was good on breathing uh for the 75 yard sprint there. >> My chest hurt. >> Yeah, my chest be hurt too if I ran that far. >> You have any medical problems? >> Sun is sun. Was it the same over there? >> Yeah, she got it. >> I'm good, man. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Need you to take some short deep breaths cuz it's just your heart rate's a little elevated, but everything else is good. >> All right. Well, I'm going to put you in the truck and do a 12 lead, but if it's normal, I'm going to let you go with them. Okay. That's where we at right now. >> You need a >> Yeah, if you don't mind. No, I don't think 144. >> Nobody's laughing at you. >> Yes, ma'am. Yes, your heart rate. You're laughing at him. That's why I can't understand why you run from me. >> In the end, she was charged with retail theft, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice in addition to her active warrants. Running only made her situation worse. Honesty and accountability from the start could have prevented far more serious consequences.
