I didn't look for him a disrespect him he did it to me so how the hell I'm getting trespassed from my son football game and Co how you call me man talking about what this man talking about you ain't even talk to me Caleb you've been given a trespass warning for that property okay I advise you to abide by it until it has been resented if you don't you'll be arrested for trespass after warning I you know employee relationship when what what happened last night it took me off guard and it it it got heated real quick and I would say it got heated real quick on K all right he don't know other than what his account was so that's what made me mad bro that's what made me disrespected that's that's that's what got me bu bumper a gate bro you took that moment away from me cuz you had a job to [Music] York just um so first thing I want to do is address the potential trespass part of this do we want to go forward with a trespass pass um warning to Mr Young or not I mean is that something you want to do well typically we do that with anybody that's that's had this type of incident okay um obviously we all know Caleb and and Mr Young and and uh but he needs he he probably does need need to receive a a a warning okay um I don't want to prohibit him from from seeing his kid but at the same time you can't you know engage the way you did yeah um which is unfortunate right so would you like us so you want a trespass warning issued to him typically those go the for a year and then there's the major instance that go the season uh or go the um go perm so um no I don't think the per I don't I don't you know I'm willing to I need a I need I need an receive the message you can't like this um now if he's able to come to a reasonable understanding and and you know make um notice not promises that he will not engage or do anything like that and just be a normal parent I'm fine with that like well you guys can always resend it you can always ask to pull it back and we could keep it in place until you guys decide to do that yeah but um that happens but that's y'all's call yeah okay I'm going to give him a and see if he picks up so we can have a dis discussion um if we can't reach him on warning issued to you for Citizens Field um it's un it's going to be set in place until uh until they decide that it's appropriate to resent am I right principal Ferguson correct correct so it's unfortunate Caleb but you know um but that's the direction that things are going there's also some potential other ramifications as to what happened last night I'm investigating it now there's a lot of people that were involved so I just want you to understand that but for now please understand trespass warning for Citizens Field you understand Caleb so let me let me get this straight so LT you know me and you know me well so you gonna issue me a trespass and not even talk to me that that's not how trespass Works Caleb it's done the people with control of the property they look at the facts and make a determination as to issuing a trespass warning it's done on their behalf it's not us doing it it's them doing it so so so who ask to trespass so first for you want me to be trespassed on the stadium the the the thing is this K uh uh Mr Young if if after talking to everybody that that that a few people that was there and hearing their side um I would do that for for any parent now I I do I don't want to take that you the right from you to see your kid and and see him perform and I'm and I am willing to to resend it but you you can't engage like you engaged last night I did I didn't engage him all I told him don't talk to me like that I told him I'm not his damn son don't call me son repeatedly so that's what happened he threatened to trespass me for what because I said don't call me your son I'm not your son you not you can't disrespect me I don't care if you're in uniform or not and Co you know that so I'm trying to figure out like what's going on with this bro I don't have an issue with somebody doing that job I never had that it's me I know I understand it but you can't disrespect me I don't care if you're in uniform or not that's crazy Caleb you know I'm G be real with you from what what the Witnesses are saying last night was was a bit much from what they for me for me saying don't disrespect me that's not all they said that happened and we can sit down write it up ready for right and yeah I mean he's it is what it is so um now I'll start investigating the other parts of it now what I have heard is that um this Cale again hey Caleb yeah I lost lost lost connection so you finish I want to finish what you say yeah what I was saying is you've been issued a trespass warning for Citizens Field until it is rescinded you will be arrested for trespass after warning if you come on the Citizens Field campus do you understand that no I don't understand at all okay well that's okay but that's what's going to happen um so that's a part of the conversation that I needed to have with you this morning as far as the rest of the investigation goes I will person man because I want to file a complaint now and as a lieutenant you know you know I have that right so I I want to file a complain all right Caleb all right um this part of the conversation is over and we'll continue uh and I'm going to conduct my investigation to what happened last night can can we okay that's cool with me you know I know you got to do that all right so so so when am I going hit back from from from anybody about it this is crazy Caleb this will be something that we'll have to take up with the city with Kelly mot over at the city um City Hall to figure out because quite frankly I haven't been put in this position um so I don't normally get tasked with doing investigations that involve uh city employees it's been very rare for me so um I I'm not saying I'm investigating incidents that happened yesterday it'll be turned over to the city to do the investigation into what your behavior and if it constitutes hold on hold on hold on LT man you know I'm a straight shooter my behavior man that's his behavior bro and I know that I know that was no detail and all of that so like then your if your if your behavior was fine then there shouldn't be anything to worry about so that's what the witnesses I'm not I'm not worried at all my problem is how I'm getting this information you jumped on this early in the morning this morning and bro you saw me last night you chose not to say nothing to me you went over there watch you listen to him twice okay but you didn't say nothing he could have been squash last night we had words they it want a trespass bro for my kid playing his football season yeah yes come on man is that it Caleb because I I need to get I need to get to work on this yeah I'm gonna get to work on it too all right okay thank you he's been having he's been having other things at work lately I mean a lot so um yeah he's we'll just go from here but so my question to you is if he one of the allegations I've heard floated around and I don't think you were there to witness it Tai um but I think some of the coaches were saying that he got in under the game under false pretenses he used some kind of that's what I was told this morning I mean if it's true is that something you want to pursue as far as theft or anything like that not necessarily um because he was invited invited to be around the team okay uh early on um in the in the in the is called now but early on he was invited to to be like a team dad that help the team he had Coast the team last year so they they wanted him around in some capacity okay but U at some point it became a bit contentious so I don't know if it's been resented or Not by the coach or I don't know yeah okay well maybe that needs to be more officially La out with him because from what I was today that was he presented some kind of credential that was not correct that was C and what he told the individual at the gate is that he checked with Florida High School Athletic Association they said they can get him into regular season games as well I don't know that to be true I do know that those cars typically are used for for um playoffs games State Playoff games but when he was brought his attention that that was wasn't an adequate way to get into the game he's he just he just join he went into the he didn't go pay for a ticket he went and just got into well they had been accustomed to letting them in free anyway so that's a and so they brought it to me this morning and said do we want to let him in I said well let me check on it but I don't think that's a that's the um the ticket in okay and um so we're investigating that U the other thing is we used to let them in so I just want to make sure the coaches they don't have a a gentle agreement that that spells span and once we look into that then you know we'll go fair enough so I don't have to worry about any of that portion no but as far as this you know this going to Trump that because it's going to oh yeah Pro you know prohibit did you witness any of the behavior that was described in the aftermath game I think that you not initially I initially intervened when he came on the other side what I'm sorry to say that again what happened he was on one side and I I didn't see that part where where where all the fans I mean all the parents fans were on the stadium side when they locked this gate yeah they were told they can't go over to where a locker room Miss I was over here by the locker room and I look over and Caleb's like walking up and he's like upset visibly upset man you better get that man I'm like who you talking about oh Caleb's telling you to get H get officer Ellis right and I said what happened I asked him what happened and he said uh he came up to him and and and told him back up back up and Ty came up to him and told him to back yeah and he was like what what's going on you know okay and um and um he said that he was trying to walk you know walk and tell another guy something on the field and and and he didn't know that the the the new procedures were in place but he felt like he was disrespected and so and that's why he was upset I said well you guys need to sit down and talk you guys are you know both employees by the city you just need need to talk sit down and talk but you can't conduct yourself in in this kind of way so please calm down and and he did and um and and he started to calm down and I said calm down before you do something stupid and and he listen Okay Okay um anything else on your end I'm just going to be taking some statements from different folks after I after I talked I talked to a couple more people and they and they told me what they saw and and and um you know if that had happened with any other and we probably would would trespass him who who are the people you talk to um our athletic director coach Knight and our Dean one of our dean of students um Patrick Wright Patrick Wright yeah and so so Philip Knight Patrick Wright right do you talk to them yeah okay yeah okay he of course the yeah again I just want to congratulate you on the nice win yesterday it's been a little bit of time and I'm sure everybody was pretty pretty celebratory at the end so and I do want I do want to add you know I don't mind if you know Mr Young returns with that expectation I'm just going to be a parent I'm just going to observe my kid and I'm not going to engage in that man and if he can if he can come to that agreement then we'll resend it okay okay I appreciate it yeah all right so we had an incident yesterday at Citizens Field Gainesville High School was playing Santa Fe you were in charge of I put you in charge I was running into detail I put you in charge of the ghs side for the entirety of the game and and at the end I put you in charge of the southwest corner where the locker rooms are for the home team um so yeah there's different phases of the game typically you've got different assignments but you just had the GH stands and patrolling that and then at the end of the game with about a minute left you were supposed to go to the um to the southwest corner and you were Monitor to Monitor the um they're going to erect that gate that keeps the fans away from the team and directs them out the west gate so tell me what happened go back to the beginning of the game um I know and and I'm speaking specifically about um what's going on with Mr Young so tell me what what happened okay so the beginning of the game um I'm at the front gate um the game starts and I start to move towards my area which is over by the student section so on my way over there I noticed that the gate on the field is open um and I know initially the administrative staff um coach Knight um coach uh Ian young they not Ian young Ian Scott wanted to be able to have someone there to monitor that say Hey you know we don't want parents or um people that aren't supposed to be on the field out there they've had issues in the past of people being out there causing you know chaos or disruptions while they're trying to coach um the event so I wasn't able to be there in the beginning because I was at the ticket gate um but then going back I noticed the gate was unlocked and I noticed Caleb young was getting ready to walk out onto the field so I said hey man you need to come back over here they're not allowing anybody to to be on the field especially you know parents of that nature if you don't have a wristband you know you're with media people you're not allowed to be out there um he came over and he said well I'm trying to pay the raw recruits guy um some money I'm like well you you have to either venmo him cash app him or something you can't be walking on the field like that um so he he was reluctantly reluctant but he came off I closed the gate um and I went back to do my job over by um the student section in the stands um after the game I come back and they lock the gate like they said they would um and the parents are starting to leave um now we're talking about the gate that keeps the ghs parents from going to the locker room area from going to the locker room area Okay um and several people were coming up saying hey I need to get through can you unlock it it's like I don't have the key to the lock you guys this is the exit I mean I'm sorry you got to walk around you know if you parked in the front um it's a little bit more of a walk but I mean it's the way that they're doing things from now on people were fine with that so then um while I'm addressing someone I get a tap on my shoulder like hey man Open this gate now are you on the inside or out are you are you with the parents or you on the other you're on the side of the parents that's where I asked you to be yes I'm with the parent on the parents side and I'm just directing people to the exit um and so he Taps me on the shoulder and says hey I need you to open this gate and I like well I can't do that um they're not allowing anyone to go back here you know with the kids you got to meet them who who said that Caleb young okay and so I said I I can't do that um I'm I'm not going to do that he said no man quit playing open the gate I said no I'm not doing that so then he steps up closer to me and like man you better Open this gate like right now are you serious I said man you need to back up because um you're you're you're about to cause another issue that doesn't need to be you need to back up so he continued no you need to open this gate right now and I said listen son you need to back up and he said son who you talking to I was like listen man back up out my face you need to stop no one's getting through this gate period you got to walk around so then he started going on um yelling like oh you're you're the softest one we got I said well you're welcome to test it I go but you're not getting through this gate and he said that's fine I got something for you I'll see you in the parking lot I said okay well I'll be there in a minute and he said I got you come see me outside I said well okay and I just stood there other people s there were Witnesses they're shaking their head so he leaves out the the the back exit that we had everyone leaving and then enters back in through the south side gate with the the buses to where the buses were you know only the players exit out to the buses and he's out there and he's still pointing at me he's screaming he went to Mr Ferguson um was talking to him and his son comes out and tells him hey Dad you need to calm down um Corporal Graham he's coaching for them he also engaged him and said hey man what's going on like you need to calm calm down so his son's basically telling um corpal Graham can you get my dad get him up out of here um he's he's causing a scene like please just where where were you at now at this point I'm still at the same spot side of the gate um so as things are starting to die down some um they open they unlocked the gate and I'm able to go through by that time majority of the crowd has gone but he was still standing by the buses talking with corpal graham um and they were interacting and that's when I I saw you I gave you um Tac Coler more information as far as what I had and what was going on so just one second so he had so he left he went out the gate that everybody went out but then he came back around and through the the the the bus the small the bus the bus entrance gate the small bus entrance gate yes okay so so he got where he wanted to go he got where he wanted to go and the parents were like what's going on why does this guy get to do this and I was like I I'm sorry right I really I apologize but you know he's he's not following the rules right now and right so um I also I didn't say um Mr Wright while he was engaging me stepped in between him and I Caleb and I while he was yelling at me and screaming pointing his finger um at me and kind of was pushing him out the first exit gate before he wanted to he wanted to engage and saying he wanted to fight me right right there what was his name again mrri Patrick Dean wght he's one of our here is he here today yes he's here today okay okay um and then continue so you so at some point I know I came and talked to you and yeah so you talked to me you told me you gave me a synopsis of what happened what had happened um Corporal Graham was still talking to him um everyone had started to leave and then I went to the parking lot so in the parking lot Caleb had walked across the street to the MLK Center where normally we would park U I didn't park there yesterday because there was a tailgate that we had you know for some of the students here so my car was in a different position so he he was across the street um I spoke with corpal graham um and he was asking adamant is this is this his car so so Caleb's asking corpal Graham where this his car so he was expecting me to be coming out it was a patrol car over there and he was asking it was yours he thought it was mine and so um he was expecting me to come out there again I'm assuming he wasn't it wasn't over with he still was wanting to engage and say you know he was going to meet me outside he wanted to fight okay so that's basically how it ended you said we're going to go 108 I got in my car um and as I'm leaving he's still standing there in the MLK um playground area underneath a tree just staring at me yeah just from just to repeat my perspective after I talked to you and you gave me that synopsis then you I asked you if anyone if you had your body camera on you said you hadn't turned it on I asked if anybody saw it and you said um the athletic director Mr Knight did um Phil and I went you guys call him Coach Knight coach Knight yeah and Dean Dean Wright get mixed up so I talked to so I talked to um coach Knight and yeah he he was I'll talk to him but he was pretty upset about it and he did sound like he had he had witnessed it and gave me his account of it um yeah and I went out when we exited did I was under the impression that Caleb had had left so I I looked around I purposely looked around for him didn't see him so so I apologize that I didn't cuz I would have talked to him yesterday I know but um I wanted to have some facts I want to have some more information and talking to Philip Knight gave me the information I needed by the time I got done talking to him about Mr Young had had left that that area that area and gone outside and I and I just assumed he he he just was like you know maybe I should just leave apparently had yeah and I but I appreciate how how how you handle it I did little supported in that that moment so thank you lieutenant ker that was Lieutenant Robinson his supervisor con apparently he called her and he's um you know I don't know what he's what he said to her but um anyway but yeah um I'm sorry that it happened and uh yeah um I'm going to turn the camera off now all right so I'm um you are the DEA students here yes for ninth grade for ninth grade and so can you tell me what happened last night anything you know about the incident that occurred involving Mr young for me it was a new situation uh I had never uh seen the gate being closed uh for um for the homes side right where parents and grandparents and so forth were not allowed or permitted to to that side of the uh locker room right and also where you can exit uh Citizens Field yeah you have to exit out the emergency gate right so that was a new situation for me so um when they closed the gate I asked officer Ellis I said well what's going on he said um you know they're not allowing parents to you know exit the premises from this direction because we've had some instances where parents have you know gotten in the coaches faces and what and I was like really so I decided to stand with him um in front of the gate and I had you know I had a few parents that wanted to go through the gate and um officer Ellis told them you know the gate is closed you know you would have to exit the permises from the emergency side so you know a lot of parents took it in stride and you know they followed the rules and um you know of course you had a few parents that did not like the situation um and I know Mr Young um we go way back um and and he was upset uh with um with with what was taking place and and I just um you know I just I told Ellis I said listen you know you handled yourself you know definitely in a professional manner um you know and I appreciate it um but it was just one of those situ situations where I think it had nothing nothing to do with with the gate situation um but I just you know because it escalated you know very quickly but again you know officer Ellis uh definitely handled himself in a professional manner so you say escalated but can you describe what happened just you know it was a matter of word words um officer Ellis made the statement um you know hey I'm just doing my job and I think you know um Mr Young you know had a few words for him you know you guys doing too much and um I'm not really sure the details as far as as the words exchange but I just know that um Mr Young was upset and I you know I noticed that he was upset um and I just told him I said look you know not here you know just just you know whatever whatever the situation is not here cuz a lot of parents were there and it was kind of creating a scene but I was just like look not here you know and I was just trying to deescalate yeah the situation did to get him to think you know not here right you know if if you guys work together or you work in the same entity you know you guys can have that conversation you know at at that particular location but but just not here and I just kind of had my hands out and he proceeded to did you step in between them uh I I think I did why did you feel the need to step between them well I think um I mean I'm I'm 43 years of of age and I've been in some situations and I've seen a lot of things um and I you know as men we have you know we have pride and uh and we we definitely don't want to be disrespected and uh it it was kind of a quick heated um exchange but again you know I just think um officer Ellis um handled himself well so um okay did you remember any of the words that were exchanged [Music] um I remember officer Ellis stating that you know listen I'm just trying to do my job you know could you please back up um and I think um maybe there was something to the extent go ahead you know we work in the same en know um and I'll see you later so did did you take that to mean that I'll I'll see you later like I'm going to take care like did do you seem like mad enough to fight I thought so I mean I I've seen I've seen Mr Young uh handled himself you know in a professional manner um but I I also understand his role uh when it comes to his job and his entity but um you know I really didn't understand like what was really going on I just saw that you came in while it was already kind of in I mean I was there from the beginning but I just think this may stem back from something else and I think it was also brought to my attention that I guess Mr Young has done this in the past okay so I was there for this particular uh situation but but I didn't I didn't really understand where where the the where the uh the heat exchange came from yeah um it just seems like like it was more than that particular instance if that makes sense but but when it was brought to my attention that you know well he's done this in the past I was like okay would it make more sense if I told you he Caleb young tried to get onto the field earlier to join the team during the game and was told by Officer Ellis hey you can't do that could that have been something that got him May been there may have been like hey you know Perhaps Perhaps um and did you feel like when you when you stepped in between them were you're like I'm trying to stop a fight from happening here I'm trying to protect officer Ellis or I I I did not want to see an exchange yeah um you know I work with officer Ellis I've worked with um Mr Young in the in the past and I'm just like you know I didn't see anyone else around to try to intervene so I was just like I was in a situation where you know let me see if I can escalate the situation and you know I just I did not want to see an exchange okay so I just you know I've wor I worked with these guys and I just decided let me try to step in cuz this could potentially turn into uh a a a situation right so you but you do know Caleb works for the police department I I I know that I you know I knew that he wasn't working at the time as a police officer or a police officer and I don't really know his role right you know I don't know if he's an undercover or you know I I just I I don't ask too many questions sure but I know he is associated with dpd how do you know that uh just in my previous positions as um as an instructional leader at um at a it's a program that was a partnership between uh a County Public Schools and GPD it's called The Outpost okay oh I remember Outpost yeah and that was a few many years ago yeah that was out on at the manic Center yeah so okay um I've worked with him he's actually um he's actually substituted for me uh in my absence so I felt like if any if anyone could step in you know I could so what where were you last night when all this stuff happened all right so in relation I was on the other gate you know the one we normally close for the city games the one we normally you know like when you first like where we all normally come in and you turn left to go to the home side and when over there I was on that gate and he was on the gate the one that separates the yeah right so I was on that gate and I was letting like the concession people come in cuz they were going to serve the team after the game so that's where I was and kind of walking back and near that gate okay okay and then so I look up and I see him and I see Mr Young yelling all right ready and I'm like what the heck's he doing now cuz I already know that we've won he's come in without a ticket he right put a credential that not a real credential not for this we've already had the offis has already asked him to get off the field because he didn't have a sideline pass so I see him yelling and going over the top of our Dean Mr Mr W kind of got his hand trying to talk to him and he's over this pointing yelling at officer ell okay you hear any of what he saying I heard him say let's go outside but I didn't hear the rest of that I just heard let's go out something to that effect did you think he was it was a he was threatening him absolutely was threatening cuz I'm sitting there thinking what is he doing he worked for GPD what is he doing that to an officer right what what would happen if I did that to an officer I'd never do that to officer that's what I'm thinking I'm like they know each other why is he acting like a fool okay so it seemed like he was trying to challenge him go outside and fight yes that's what it seemed like to me that's what I perceived it okay so how did it end how did it well he eventually Mr Wright talked to him officer I thought he had very good composure CU that could have gotten out of hand for Mr Young I mean yeah he did because he could have easily escalated that and arrested him or done whatever because he was being threatened and challenged right and so Mr Wright kind of got between them and he's talking to Mr Young who's still it almost like a a kid fight you know with somebody's holding in the guy you know that's what visually that's what I'm saying so eventually he goes out with then he circles around and he comes back in the other side Caleb goes out and comes around and comes in by the bus where buses and go straight into Mr shellnut who doesn't know what's going on I mean sir shut Mr Ferguson who doesn't know what's going on so now in my opinion his opinion he's doing this so he can show officer Ellis hey the boss is letting me stay here but Mr Ferguson didn't know what had taking place and he's trying to C Caleb down here but Caleb's still with Mr Ferguson pointing at officer Ellis and he keeps doing like this you didn't see that did you did you see it I didn't know cuz you you kind of your back was to but he's over there with Mr Ferguson yelling and doing I couldn't hear what he said Mr Ferguson's like you need to settle down he just seemed like with his hands like stop cool your jets but he went around the backside to me it was a taunt was like look where I am now you wouldn't let me in here now look where I am and I'm over here with the boss that's how I perceive if I had been in his shoes that's what I would have thought that all right he's showing me up from the backside now what is their relationship with Mr Young and Mr Ferguson I think Mr Ferguson coached when he was in high school you can say all I think when he he coached football for a while at East all done okay I think he was a coach when Caleb played over there I'm not sure of that but I believe it is is Caleb a booster or is he a he's just a parent he just a parent he's a parent who thinks he's part of he was offered opportunity to be part of the football party but he wouldn't do what the him to do and he he doesn't act the part right right I hear him at games he's pretty uh right well down at Trinity cathic which it was their place he's on the field yelling at our coaches during the game and waving his hands and just like what is he doing down there showing up the coaches on the field right and again Mr Ferguson I'm trying to calm him down like will you stop so I don't know what his anger is I don't think it's at him I don't know you know if they got some personal thing that he's just mad at him but he's it's not just at him he's acting that way but last night that was entirely inappropriate right okay especially for somebody that's supposedly works for you guys yeah I mean if I went and did that to another teacher how do you know that he that he works there oh he tells us all the time I mean I don't know how many times before before I knew what his situation was he comeone F hey I'm a GPD officer I'm allowed on the field like who is that guy like during the game yeah in years past okay like you know like big city games where we weren't you know I was working at the gate and he's like no no I'm a GPD and okay so he so that's been going on for years yeah at least three that's how long I've been I mean I've been here a long time but I was just a coach before but any other people besides him that do the I'm the GPD there was one guy with him one time and I don't know who it was but that was only one time but he's done it several times he's like no I'm GPD you know I'm down here to I'm working you're not in uniform I appreciate it it's always pleasure I don't know if that helps or not but it does it does look that's ridiculous for um for many reasons it's ridiculous for somebody that works with you guys one it's ridiculous for a parent too right the whole thing we're out here to do things for kid it about the parents so principal Ferguson issued him a trespass warning for Citizens Field okay moving forward but he said if Caleb came into compliance he would resend it well Caleb showed up and now he's in the office with the principal so I don't know if the principal is GNA resend it before it even starts or what but um you know certainly my advice is to just keep it in place for a while and see how things go he needs to chill out and and here's the the root of the he wants his son to transfer and his son likes being that's that's right so he's out there trying to find all the things he can to say no we need to leave while I'm thinking of it after the game did you see Caleb anywhere outside on the parking lot or anything I didn't see I stay and I stayed till the last kid left last side okay but he but he was telling him to come outside to the park he Caleb was telling to come outside I heard him say Let's either Let's Take It Outside or let's go outside and pointed to the parking lot right [Music] yeah hey Darren so you were coaching the game last night last night and you were um how did you become aware of what happened and with I'm talking about sorry just with Mr Young um the incident involving him po at the end of the game so the game had ended and we were kind of standing over there where the players and coaches was all kind of standing around after the game by the locker room and then I kind of heard aoud you know someone yelling like you know a lot of yelling cursing that like man F this F that F that and I'm like like what's the heck going on I look over and it's I see Mr Young you know yelling screaming upset like n he wrong he he's a [ __ ] ass [ __ ] he's [ __ ] he soft that and like kind of like what's going on and then he was going over to Mr Ferguson no man you need to do something with Ellis Ellis man Ellis man he you R for that and I'm like well I kind like what the heck's going on so I go over to Ellis to kind of say hey man what what's going on what happened with Caleb and was like saying like hey man he was trying to come into the section that's been closed off the parents and I told him hey you're not allowed to come in here right now that's the school board rule that they they don't want nobody in this section so he's like no man you're going to open that gate you're going to open that gate he's like okay I can't open the gate for you that they don't are you seeing this happen or you no so this is what I'm talking with I'm having a conversation with ell Ellis telling you what telling me what happened cuz I didn't see what happened I was kind of fig out but you heard the yelling and stuff I heard the yelling and uh and Caleb walking over to Mr Ferguson and yelling very ironic you say walking over to Ferguson you how do you mean that but like in in the area where the players are in front of the locker room so at first you heard him he was on the other side of that parent gate you were describing and then he walked around the facility and got so I never saw him walk around he was already in oh so I just heard the yelling Caleb voice so he was talking to Ferguson yelling at talking oh okay I thought he was yelling at when you heard him yelling he was yelling at Ellis he was yelling about he was yelling to Mr Ferguson about Ellis and he was saying the things you said thing that he that that I was describing him saying so that's when I was like well let me see what's going on so I went over to talk to ell like hey man what's going on what happened and that's when he was kind of explaining like hey you know yeah I was trying to telling hey he's not allowed to be in there you know the parents no parents are allowed to be in there so somehow some way he got around Ellis and got on into that area apparently some of the parents kind of like hey well why can't he be in there if we can't so then that's when I guess Ellis kind of say hey Caleb you're not supposed to be in there and then Ellis subcrib basically he's coming at him like no you you going you going to Open this gate for me you gonna Open this gate for me and ell was like well that's hey man I can't do that I can't do that so that's that's what Ellis explained to me so then I left from there to go see get Caleb out the story like hey Caleb what's going on so Caleb had already walked outside was standing in the parking lot so basically where in the parking lot was he so the gate that opens up where the home team buses park at that gate so they they open that gate up so the kids can load back up and get back on the bus and leave so he was standing directly outside the gate in front of that so I'm like hey Caleb what's going on man I told him he could see me out here he can see me out we can do this he ell ell's always doing this [ __ ] ass [ __ ] I'm like what what are you talking about what is he doing no man he said all only thing I wanted to do man was pay apparently he paid some video photographer guy to record his son play football that help I guess it's raw recruits that help him get recruiting videos out there so he's like hey man only thing I said I need to do is go pay the guy I pay him the money and then I'm just going to leave so I guess Ella still wouldn't let him in after that so he he got pissed off whatever so I'm like hey man well you know I don't want you guys out here fighting I don't need this is not a good look just have you go home his son comes over like Dad hey man you need to calm down hey coach gr can you take that and and and have him go to the car and go home so I said yeah man I'll talk with him and I walk him into this car so we proceeded to walk out to the car we found his car we kind of stood I said hey man Caleb just you know get in the car and go home man and and we can talk about this later no man n we going I'mma chill right here no I'm good I'mma chill right here and then he's like is this his car right here is this his car right here he's asking if it's ties that's a patrol car like part so we're right there we're all normally the overtime units park for the games so Caleb's car SUV is parked right there and like kind of maybe maybe two carlings back from the sidewalk so he's back there there's a patrol car par like literally maybe parallel a little further up parallel from and then there's another patrol car so he's standing there he's like is that his patrol car I know that's his patrol car right there and I'm like Caleb that's not his patrol car man that's not his patrol car well which one is his Patrol man I'm not going to tell you that Caleb get in the car and go home man it it ain't it ain't worth it let's go home and we'll deal with this you know talk about it tomorrow no man I'm going to chill right here man I ain't going nowhere so you know I kind of look back and I see Ellis is over there I see his cars in the front front of citizens in the the parking lot area over there and he's kind of just help monitor the other administrators while the kids are waiting to get picked up so I just kind of stood by for him a little while and finally him like Caleb I'm going to go home don't do nothing dumb he said no I'm just going to sit here and chill by the car and so I got my personal vehicle and I left and went home so okay and you never had any more conversations with more did you hear anything about the front end of the game about him trying to get in without a ticket or no so I didn't hear I didn't hear that that but once I came to school this morning Miss Dean Krauss was telling me about I guess that apparently he showed up to the game and he had a state playoff pass that apparently they from the rules of FSA is only allowed for playoffs so that he's allowed to come through with that pass for playoff time she said I explained to him hey you know you can't come in here with that pass you know that's not that's only for playoffs only no I looked it up I'm allowed to come in here she said okay well Caleb I'm not really going to argue with you I get coach Knight coach Knight apparently went over there said hey Caleb no this is not the right pass for you to come in here for this game that's a playoff pass this is a a regular season game you can't come in there apparently he just walked in based on their wording that he just walked on in like I'm coming in anyways y'all going to stop so they kind of just like no we're not going to make a big deal about it and through up their hands just let him come in okay okay and has Caleb had a history of going on the field without I mean he's I guess he was part of the coaching staff last year so he was so initially he was allowed to come on the field but there was some grumblings where some of the comments he was making complaints about some of the coaching decision and calls and stuff where it kind it got revoked so he's got that was this year that was this year that like hey man some of the stuff and the disagreements you're having yeah you know you can be outside of the the the sideline box for the players and the coaches you can kind of stand over there kind of where the cheerleaders at kind of hang out over there it got to the point that no we you got to go go go be a parent in the stand why was that because he was just some of the comments and the complaints and getting into kind of you know arguments with coaches on the sideline over disagreement over decision play calling and some of the comments about his son like if the son would make a mistake he would start no man that's not my that's not that's not on him and like so Ian's basically like no man we can't have that you know you know you go be a parent in the stands like everybody else that's the coach so when did he tell him that when did he tell Caleb that uh I think that was um that was related to coach Knight and Coach Knight relate that to Caleb when that was like beginning of the season so the incident that I'm talking about fars on the sideline happened at the spring game so before this season got started it was related to him that hey man you know you're not going to be on the sideline hey Ty how are you hey so um I was speaking to the state attorney's office about this incident and he kind of zeroed in on the and I don't know if you remember this or not but he wanted me to ask you and find out do you remember when he was when um when young was standing in front of you him tapping you him touching you tapping you on the arm huh what what happened there what was that about he wanted me to open the gate so I wasn't facing him my back was to him and he came up to my left arm and tapped me like on the elbow like hey open the gate okay that's when I turned around and I was I addressed him and said no I can't open the gate for anybody like I'm not opening up the gate and that's when it started to get ramped up and pushed me in my chest um so you okay push you in the chest what do you mean by that like he put his hands on my chest and was like like ta me in the chest said open the gate you're doing too much I said man you need to back up get out of my face son and that's when uh being right stepped in between us because he was like you're not F to disrespect me and he started putting his face finger in my face and he started pushing him back okay okay um uh okay well I I talked to a witness and the witness remembers Caleb putting hands on you um and in a kind of a in a certain way like um he was moving very very close to you in your face and he's and he started like using his back of his hand to to be bumping your chest or arm or your torso area does that sound does that sound consistent with what I mean can you tell me about that or is that what you were talking about that's what I was talking about okay so the initial like it wasn't like a uh like the first time wasn't like a hit it was like a tapping like like getting your attention open yeah open the gate and then I turned around and I addressed him and I told him no he kept stepping forward and that's when he started pushing putting his hand on my capping me in my chest okay and that's when I that's when I was like you need to back up before this becomes something that you you don't you don't want okay and that's when we started getting the enraged where he was starting to get putting his finger in my face um and Dean Wright stepped in between us and was starting to push him back like hey just go and that's when it all started getting ramped up from there okay all right he said it when he got to do the Bus Loop side when where the bus was at he came through coming through outside there mhm you were over there no I was through the fence he said that he hollered that before he came back in after he came back in after he you know he came before he came to me yeah right before he came to you okay so I didn't hear that I didn't I wasn't on it yeah yeah and then he said it again he had he had you like this and you were trying to tell him to calm down and he said it again but I think at that time you were starting to step away from him okay I didn't hear it but officer um C Graham said he heard it so that's enough for Mega why I didn't say that earlier I was trying to everybody I was trying to say the information like yo man the way you I didn't say I didn't do that I was like that's why I knew you wanted to fight me that's the whole reason why you you sat back and then you went back and told you to Graham yeah afterwards Graham said no he said I don't care nothing about that uniform I'm going to beat his ass that's what he said to gram talk to Graham he why he didn't tell me that I F I sat there and said man I know I know you want gr didn't tell me that oh that's the first time I heard that oh I was like no I I know you wanted to fight me well he told that the grand personal yes okay I didn't know that part ver verbatim well I trespass him anyway not only from this from citizen fil from every school board so I'm going to give you guys a copy okay but I just I just that's what I'm saying like I I I don't have anything against him I just want hey man this has been a consistent thing you can't you can't I didn't hear that part but regardless he if he said that to out in public you can't do that yeah I that's why I was sitting there in the in the room like I don't I say I hear what you're saying you probably calm down but in that moment that's what you to say this I hate that I was put in this position I do I hate it cuz I've worked with Caleb in the past and I worked with you and I feel like we we've always had a great relationship a great um you know employee relationship when what what happened last night it took me off guard and it it it got heated real quick and I would say it got heated real quick on Kale end all right now do I feel like what happened last night was a result of the whole gate situation no I think whatever happened last night had something to do with something else and I don't know what that is on the YouTube to know but at the end of the day Caleb you know you should should understand his role right that night you know his his his responsibility was to protect the gate and I felt like I felt the same way you did cuz the whole gate situation was new for me you know and as I was stating you know his job was to um you know not allow anyone through that gate and you know you wanted to get through the gate um now when it took place you know I think you made the statement you know y'all doing too much you know man y'all just let me through the gate and Ellis responded in a manner where he was like listen you know I'm just trying to do my job you know back up now when I when I was there you know I I looked away and then I'm I'm paying attention to something else another parent and then what brought my attention back to the situation was when Caleb said don't dude don't don't ever disrespect me like that and and I know those words you know I've said those words you know and I know what those words mean so that's that's what brought my attention back at the end of the day day you know I don't want you not to be able to watch you know and at the end of the day you know I work with Ellis and it's just a situation that I don't want to be in but my thing is dang y'all should have I don't know y'all just put me in this situation and and well you just got to be you just have to be the witness and I get it you here now if it was me there I'll would be the witness but you know both of you have your own accounts and and and whatnot if if I can ask freely Caleb what was it that you know he said you were upset or whatever what got you upset so what got me upset uh is it's not not a gate it's easy just to walk around what what what got me upset is it's the same thing when I first saw you when I came in the gate I told you I was looking for somebody on the field you don't want nobody on the field okay no problem that's that's the order you got I go I do it another way trying to hand this do this transaction basically at the end of the game the the recruit a guy they was doing the interview you know I was just moving slow supposed to be there with him all right doing that interview all right mooth slow but when I got to the gate he was standing at the gate just like him it was new to me too new to me too my issue wasn't that when somebody trying to do their job you can do your job but I would not be disrespected that's what I was saying to him that's that's that was the turn you didn't here he said back up son I looked at him bro he said it again that's what got me hot and so after things transpired I looked at him at the end he start yelling back up I said or what that's what I said to him like and now last man don't ever disrespect me like that and the reason I took that angle was is because by that time my son had migrated over there come on man we all men in here we all men in here like that's not going to Happ happened in front of our kids bro so what I did after that he was like come on man come on man right I said man I say you soft that was soft move man don't do that I said that I I don't got no problem with saying that was saying that I said that he say responded back now the other thing is I'm not from Gainesville I don't have the connections and all that stuff I know you grew up with him or whatever and he coached you I don't I don't have those opportunity to do so you saw AER sitting over there talking with me he was actually he was looking for you where is he I said I think he's over there by the buses which you were still engaged talking to Graham then then after that you were across the way which I didn't see you over there until till later on it was like that looks like Caleb over there and you were talking with graham so you had you had you had off you you had your on dead smack on me I know you saw him standing there so if that was your intent to sit back to where was like hey man I want to I want to talk you could have done so but I believe what you were saying you really you wanted to go physical you were you were in your you were in your your feelings you want you wanted to go physical that that was the the
