I have one on the gun, though. >> A few seconds later, he emerged from behind the tree and claimed he had the weapon in his back pocket. The suspect proceeded to lift his shirt and bend over, making a firearm in his back waistband visible. He refused commands to get on the ground. Instead, the suspect walked across the street toward a neighbor's house and stood on the sidewalk in front of the house. Commands were issued to the suspect, but he did not comply. One of the officers put his firearm away to talk to the suspect into complying with orders to turn around. >> Cuz I need to talk to you, but I can't talk to you when you have your gun like that. Do you want me to call your daughter? Do you want me to call your daughter? No officers or bystanders were injured. The suspect was later identified as 69-year-old Raul Garza. Investigations into deadly force are comprehensive and can take over a year. A reminder, this is our current understanding of the situation and could change as investigators gather more information.
