Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Here you go. Hey, don't Damn it. Damn it. So, I left the products in the in the car and then I would just scan the $1 thing and then just dump it in the bag. Oh, okay. A race was staged right inside the store where they tried to flee all the way outside. This is how brazen thieves think they can escape consequences while stealing an entire shopping cart. The outcome? You'll see it all in today's video. Cops surprise stop a shoplifter making a run with an entire cart full from Walmart. We are This is law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Let's start with this suspect who was abandoned by her own accomplices. What I'm going to tell you is you are going to jail for the theft. The police and said, "This is what happened to me. I'm abandoned here. I need help." On April 8th, 2025, officers received a call from a Walmart after a woman had been detained for shoplifting. This was what unfolded when they arrived at the scene. The um my sergeant of the detectives and I are explaining the situation, okay? Not the theft issue, the other issues that you're currently being stuck in the middle of, okay? I at least wanted him to be in the loop so that way we can start trying to help you any way we can, okay? The theft issue that we're talking about is something that you're going to have to deal with as an individual, okay? But I'm going to work with you as much as I can on everything and um we're going to try to figure out what this dude's deal is, okay? My friends were heading here to get me. Um I don't know if they're here or not. Okay. They wrote on my phone. Mhm. But I don't know if they showed up or not. I have no idea. I'm worried. I don't want to leave me yet. I don't want to get rid of it but I get to go home or Okay. Whatever cuz I've at and we've 4 or 5 hours. Okay. What I'm going to tell you is you are going to jail for the theft. Okay? I will let you reach out to your friends and let them know so they're not worried sick about you and you don't have to waste a jail phone call on reaching out to them, okay? That way you can call somebody that can either help you or an attorney or something like that, okay? Okay. The woman was believed to have stolen a highly valuable PlayStation 5 and she admitted to the act herself, but she only seemed concerned with how she could leave. Do you know what my bail will be? With you being an out-of-towner, bail's going to be 5,000 or 10%. Cuz the theft is a misdemeanor of the first degree and the bonds are standard. Okay? Now, that being said, it's Tuesday. They just had initial appearances in court today. They might be able to get you in sooner, so you might get your bond lowered or something like that. It's up to the judge. I'm not going to charge you with having the meth bubble. You're very honest and forthcoming on that. But Amber, I'll be honest with you, it it's comes down squarely to the dollar amount. If somebody comes in here and steals 50 bucks worth of food or something, they get a summons and they got to go to court. And we're talking it wound up being 800 I'm sorry. $788.32 is is what the value is for pre-tax on all this stuff. That's a lot of money. A lot of money. And Amber, I wish you would have called. If you felt like somebody forced you to come in here and take a PlayStation 5, this would have been a significantly different conversation if you called the police and said, "This is what happened to me. I'm abandoned here. I need help." And then this conversation would very likely be so different. But instead you held on to this for lack of a better term, a holes PlayStation 4 him after he abandoned you. I just didn't And we we would have never known who you were. You would have left here and we would have tried to figure out who you were on this video and maybe we did, maybe we didn't, maybe we would have had a warrant in a month, I don't know. So, it was revealed that the woman's actions had been carried out under the control of someone else. Faced with this reality, she began to break down mentally, but the officers had to continue pressing on to make her recognize her wrongdoing. And I do feel for you. I really do. I'm not just saying that. But you got yourself in a heck of a spot here. Now, Patrolman Feik, I don't know if he explained to you when he talked to you in my backseat one of the things that he specializes in is human trafficking. I know that you're saying that the answer is no and I'm going to be honest with you, I don't 100% believe you. I think this Christopher Troll guy is doing something like that, at least similar to you. And what I would encourage you to do is think really hard on it and if there's something you want to talk more about, ask for Feik. He has the resources and the know-how to help you get out of that. Okay? Shortly after, the store issued its decision regarding her actions. Remember, we are going to be trespassing from all Walmart and Sam's Club locations. That includes includes uh parking lots. Uh I understand the situation that you were in. Um but Walmart's policy is clear on that. Um >> Your subject I believe there's a way for you based on that case, social security number 0456. But 0456 It is indefinite, which means forever, but I believe the minimum is 2 years. That's where you would submit the same There are a lot of different things you got to do. It might come up. Is that your legal name? That is my um first married name. Okay, so is that Do you When's the last time you got a driver's license or ID? >> now when I get in trouble with It's And so it's not my maiden name. It's my first married name and 1325 1325 Okay. It's just verifying I was just clarifying what's missing. And yes, her legal name is Amber Copy that. >> will sign under the witness. Did you copy that? Copy that. No. Yes, that's her legal name according to the state. >> hyphenated 1325 Go ahead. Do you get a time frame of when they came in town? The investigation continued as more clues about the other suspect were gradually being uncovered. 13, we have the video of the vehicle. It's going to be late '90s, early 2000s model. >> Do you know how many packs of cards he took? No. Is it >> a lot? Okay. a lot 1325, what was the girlfriend's name? The girlfriend and the vehicle is registered to a four How many? four I think those are like $30 a pop. No, those are like the $60 boxes. At that point, as their shift was nearing its end, the officers decided to take the woman into custody. On the way, she continued to cooperate, providing information about her accomplices. We're unable to locate a Nothing in house, nothing through leads. Contacted the shop, and they don't have a record of anyone by that name. Clear. I just forgot to see what it says on Facebook. We'll follow up with it. I'll find her. All right. Good luck finding her. Thank you, guys. >> Thanks, guys. Can you get a description of You have her extra seen? Yes. She's um kind of like my build. Okay. She's got really long, curly hair. Okay. Um About how old is she? Um I'd guess about 30, 32, maybe. Okay. Little bit older than the Chris. Little bit younger than me. Okay. 13's going to be similar build as my 21 with long, curly hair, early 30s. She was ultimately charged with first-degree misdemeanor retail theft. Even under pressure or influence, making the wrong choice still carries consequences. Thinking twice and seeking help early could prevent everything from spiraling out of control. Next, the woman even tried to implicate her friend after being apprehended. Yeah. He knew what I was doing, too. Well, was he in the car? Was he in the store? He was in the store. On April 30th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a Sam's Club after receiving reports of a woman who had stolen multiple items and left without paying. Upon arrival, officers quickly identified the stolen goods based on the employee's statement. Do you know what was taken? It was in the vacuum cleaner aisle. Yeah, the vacuum cleaner aisle, electronics side. I don't know if I'd say that. Will you guys be able to look it up on the video or what not? I was gone 5:00 to 6:00. Sorry. I'm coming. All right. They walked out. Oh, sorry. Did you see them walk out? Huh? >> Did you You saw them walk out? >> Yeah. Uh we have the license plate of the one that walked out. Okay. Yeah, we got hard disk right here. Yeah, I did. Yeah, well we can just see who the one that figure out, you know, which one the receipt. We just uh knocked the door off, you know, the one that's locked. So, she knocked it off and she just walked out and he put all the stuff in the car. Okay. And hit the other car next to her. Yeah, the one the car next to her. She was with the Shortly after, officers intercepted a vehicle matching the witness's description, and all items found inside confirmed the accuracy of the report. Yeah, I think he has an expired VO. Oh, okay. Well, this one might be the chief. He running mail again. Is it though? Where's your ID? I don't have it with me. You don't have it with you? >> No, I don't have it. All right, put your feet in there. Do you have insurance with the vehicle? I probably know there should be insurance in there. Yeah. All right. Where would it be at? I don't cuz I don't know. According to the report, the female suspect was accompanied by another man, but it was unclear whether he was involved in the incident. Officers proceeded to investigate this matter. It's all the front seat of in so I don't Do you have an idea what that wallet is? Yeah. Okay. Good. Tear it for No, I didn't give that Give me a muster in the back of the car. What brings you down here from Springfield? We were doing some shopping for some new blinds for my boss. That's why he's back. He's a cool boss. I didn't hear that. He said This is what he told me. He said Oh, [ __ ] The man was determined to have no involvement in the incident, but the woman could not bear being the only one apprehended, so she began shifting the blame onto him. Well, was he in the car or was he in the store? He was in the car. Okay. Well, I didn't do the retail theft whether he knew or not. Huh? It doesn't work that way. I can't hear you. That's fine. You don't have to hear me. I just want to call my boss, please, sir. Huh? You want me to call State Farm on my phone, please? I don't know what your phone number is. I don't know. All right. Copy. This way. This way. Both sides. Put them on him. Immediately after apprehending the woman, officers proceeded to recover the stolen items to return them to the store. Two different guys. All of these flying back where they come falling out. The woman was charged with retail theft. Her actions show that attempting to shift blame on to others only worsens the situation. Taking responsibility for one's own crimes is crucial. Next, we move on to this woman's very first attempt at shoplifting. She had the product that you did. Scattered, yeah. >> Okay. So, how much was that difference? I got to call the sales floor. This is already $300 over what she I'm really scared, so I kind of don't have a choice. On March 5th, 2025, officers received a report from Walmart regarding the detention of a woman for suspicious activity. This was what unfolded when they arrived at the scene. I What was it called? She was ticket switching. Okay. I I ticket switching. You have about $422 worth of stuff in here. And these are the the receipts that you had. Okay. I'm going to have to try it, right? So, this is what it This is what she switched it to. Yes. >> And what is it technically? $422. She She's a beauty. >> Okay, cool. Does she have So, does she Is this what she purchased? Cuz I got to take photos. >> She hasn't purchased anything yet because she's Because due to that she purchased $106 worth. You know what I mean? Got you. Yeah, I know. Did you want me to I'm just trying to figure out what's actually hers and what I have to photo. Oh, I got you. I got you. Well, what we were going to do is refund her the thing and then see if she wanted to pay for the rest. She said she wanted to take some stuff off. Uh so I said, "You know what? Before we do this, let me get the police here cuz this is Okay. Are all these things re-ticketed? Everything out there is under I don't know if you have like I know I saw some hand soap there. I don't know. Looks like there's just a whole bunch of stuff that was uh was uh zapped instead of other stuff. Okay. So technically we I mean she's she's going to refund it all first. Uh that way you kind of have a full understanding of what happened from the real amount is, I guess. Okay. Um but so I guess if we do the math it's >> she was she was doing Enfa shoes, Enfa shoes, Enfa shoes, but it wasn't Enfa shoes. It was I'm making it up. It was like that. And then so I took all the Enfa The suspect did not deny any of the accusations when they were presented. At that point the officers already understood every detail of her actions. Let me go get >> just basically held onto the product in your hand, scanned it and then put something else in the bag. Scanned the pro- scanned it again, put something else in the bag. Uh I left the products in the in the car and then I would just scan the $1 thing and then just throw them in the bag. Oh, okay. Let me go see if she's got that receipt for us. I have them. Give an idea on you? Oh, he has it? >> Yeah. Who's the gentleman that's outside? My brother. Is that your brother? Okay. Yeah. You guys drive here? Yeah. Okay. Do you guys live around here? Um Berkeley. Where? Berkeley. Berkeley. Okay. >> Yeah. Have you been arrested before? It's first time? Where'd you get this idea from? Discord? What's Discord? It's well, a lot people use it for uh primarily gaming, online gaming, but you could use it for literally anything. Like book clubs and stuff, but I use it for gaming. Uh my friend actually gave me the AK, so I would I would use it for Right. Yeah, he said he was like get the the $1 stuff and then just get whatever I wanted or something. Why is there two receipts? Um cuz I made like two trips cuz I got a few things and then I forgot to get like the coffee creamer and the dish soap. And then the bags that I wanted. Did you leave? No, I didn't. >> People left. My brother did though. Okay. I told him to wait in the car. According to the report, the woman had learned the method of stealing through the Discord platform and this was her first time. Therefore, as employees stated, she exposed everything including her face. Okay. All right. So, how did you guys catch wind of it? Well, I was walking here when she came in. She just looked suspicious and a little awkward, but when she came to the thing and she registered, okay. She she must be honest here. Pocket anything. Uh but then um Tammy noticed that hey, wait a minute. That purse is more than a dollar. Okay. >> That's kind of like what set her off on the first trip. Um you know what? I can always take a picture and then we'll move that and take more. He He was like the way she said it was well, my brother bought a bunch of stuff, but I don't have the receipt. I said, "Okay, well, we can pull the receipt." And then all of a sudden there's a new receipt from the first trip. Found the receipt and it's the same thing. Dollar, dollar, dollar, dollar, dollar, dollar, three dollars. All right, so this is the actual amount. Mine came out different than this one though. Mine was $10 different. $10 more or $10 less? Less. Okay. And then these are her receipts >> have missed something, you know, when I was I'm just uh pretty obsessive about Okay. I think 106 was the first one and the second time that we got Were you the one that stopped her? It was Well, yeah. And then, she called me over there. I said, "Okay." And then, I looked and I was like, I I thought it was going to be something small, but when I saw it was that big, I said, "I got to call the police on this woman." I was over what she Okay. All the evidence seemed overwhelming, and at that point, the officers quickly took action to confirm the consequences of what she had done. Go ahead, stand up for me. You're going to put your hands behind your back. Protocol. Should I take this off? I would take Yeah. I mean, no, you could keep it on. I don't You're not cold? Well, yeah, but it might be easier. Why? You're not going to You're not actually going to a jail. You're just getting processed at our PD. Oh. Okay. Sorry. >> You sure you've never been arrested before? No. Okay, cuz you seem to know a little protocol here. No. No, I haven't. All right. Where are you originally from? Kentucky. Kentucky? I was born and raised in Kentucky. Okay. Go ahead, turn around. I have receipts for her refunds on the on the the purchases that she made. Keep Keep your Thank you. Just All right, just slip a little bit. You okay? Yeah. Almost done. Okay. Since I got the cuffs on you, I got to read you The woman was charged with retail theft. One bad decision, even learned online, can quickly turn into real consequences. What seems like a trick can cost your freedom and reputation in an instant. Next, the man even turned Walmart into his own marathon. Somebody called the police on me? Absolutely. For real? Yeah, come on. Who did? Who called the police, man? On August 10th, 2024, officers received a report from a Walmart store about a man who had been committing theft. According to the surveillance footage, he repeatedly glanced around as if he had been preparing for something. Once he had ensured it was safe, he began taking multiple shopping bags and placing them into his cart, showing that this had been a premeditated act. Immediately after, he left the store without paying. At the same time, officers had already arrived and moved in to stop him, which then escalated into a dramatic chase. The ones right here. Yeah. I don't see why y'all stopped me in the way. You should just stop. Huh? You should just stop. I did. Stand him up. I ain't going to stand up like that. Try to roll up. I'm trying to. I know. There it is. Please hold me. I got you. What I did? Tell me this. Why y'all was already waiting on me to come out of there? Somebody called the police on me? Absolutely. For real? Yeah, come on. Who did? Who called the police on me? Cuz you was waiting on me. I listen to you. I'm going to jail? Absolutely. >> Why? Cuz you ran. His act of fleeing had indirectly admitted his own wrongdoing, yet he still questioned whether he would be going to jail. Perhaps it was because he felt no real remorse. He even went as far as making desperate pleas. Please, man. I don't need to go to jail. Oh, well. Man. Father God. Damn, that was before school, man. Hey, man. I ain't got I can't say This is not, but I got 10 people that's here with me, man. Can I at least tell them? You'll be able to tell them at the jail. No, I'm talking about here right now cuz I ain't going to be able to contact them and let them know nothing, man. Man. 7157 Okay, copy. 30 31689 126 Road You got gloves? The man appeared remorseful, but in reality, he was only frustrated at being caught red-handed. And now, information about him began to be gathered. I don't have a valid ID. I'm just saying, man, I'm trying to comply, but I want to I want somebody to know I'm going to jail. You can let them know when you get down to the jail. Why I got to let them know when I get down there, sir? What's your first name? It would've been easier if you would've just not done all this. I mean, So, now we're past cooperating. We're just going to finish this up and go from there. What's your first name? Sam, S A M. And what's your birthday? 39 East Coast is the tag. All right, we'll check it in just a second. Do you have a Georgia ID? Huh? Do you have a Georgia ID? >> I don't. Where's it out of? Hm? Where's it out of? >> Florida. Florida? What's your middle initial? I'm bleeding, man. It wasn't even a Your arm, did it You mind if I skin rash? Sure. A little blood right there somewhere. Hands. At this point, another officer had begun collecting additional evidence from the surveillance cameras, and everything only made his guilt even more clear. That's when you want to grab bags. >> Yeah, just people he checked in there trying to see if there was a way he could get the guard center bolts. I said we locked it. That's when Three bags is idle. Yeah, so we don't I don't actually have them bag and items. Yeah, it's in a blind spot. Mhm. But But you do have him not go into a register. >> Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got I got it. There you go. That's all I need. Yeah. Eventually Is there any way you can get all of those different uh Oh, yeah, on the way to the disco. All on disk, yeah. Yeah, get them in order and everything so you guys can see. That's going to be wonderful. Yeah, I got you. Yeah, so go and come see. Hold on, go back to that one real quick. Go back a little bit. Who is that? Yeah, so his buddy wasn't in the store. He actually just walked off. But but technically he didn't do anything. Like so I can say he's not chargeable with knowing someone who did the crime. But Yeah, but he didn't actually help or anything. Okay. Oh, yeah. Or I would have easily told y'all, yeah. Mhm. All right. If you wondered why a physically capable man like him did not seek a job and instead turn to theft, at this very moment he was about to give you the answer. Yeah, man. But I didn't want to. You know, I didn't want to. So simply, wasn't what it would have been just a No, cuz I had all that stuff. I would have still gone to jail. I can't really hear you, though. Sam Haywood was charged with felony shoplifting for stealing over $650 worth of goods, obstruction of law enforcement for fleeing from officers, and additional charges related to his four active arrest warrants. Running from the truth only made his situation worse. Instead of taking responsibility, his choices turned a simple crime into a far more serious consequence. Next, the woman even acted as if she had the right to steal. Don't touch me. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. So why the [ __ ] do you keep arresting me because my dad's a New York taxi driver? On April 12th, officers responded to a reported theft involving a woman who tried to flee in a golf cart after stealing skirts. Upon approaching, the reactions of the man next to her clearly revealed they knew what had happened. Hello. Yes. He just asked me for a ride. Yeah, that's fine. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. I swear I was just being nice. Let's go. Come on. Okay, I'm not going with you. Oh, yes, you are. Call Regina Connect. I have no idea who you're talking about. Do you not Do you not know her? I have no idea who she is. Cuz I swear I was just being nice. So I don't know who he is, either. Okay, that's fine. Get off the golf cart, or we're going to take you off the golf cart. I'll get off and I'll walk out. You're not walking anywhere. You're staying with us. I'm not staying with you. The woman clung to the vehicle, thinking it could help her evade the police, but she was mistaken, as officers quickly decided to take decisive action. You have no idea who she is. All right, let's go. Come on. I swear I was Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. He's touching me. Let me get the I got cuffs. I got cuffs. I got cuffs. Get the [ __ ] off me. Me? Yep. Dude, he ran over to my cuz I stopped. Grab my wrist. My shoes. Get my shoes. Now you get charged with that. >> Get my shoes. Detain. Get my [ __ ] shoes. Stop grabbing me. What's wrong with you? What is wrong with you? What are you going to double up on? Get my Get my shoes. She's wanted. She cared only about the disappearance of her own belongings rather than addressing the theft affecting others. And even after being placed in the patrol vehicle, she continued to act wildly, lashing out in anger. Stop. What happens if she's kicking? >> going to You're going to grab her by the arms. Young lady. You just want to be good right now, okay? Yep. You don't want to make things worse, okay? Do you hear me? Do you hear me, young lady? You don't want to kick the windows, kick the doors, okay? Do you hear me? What else? All right. That's it. That's it. All right. I think Here, sit up straight. Do you want to sit up? Do you need to sit her up or do you >> Yeah, she can sit up. Yeah, sit her up. Sit her up. Shut up. Go. Sit her up. Shut up. Go. All right, can I get Shut up. Go. Silly I'll kill your ass. [ __ ] I want her wallet. [ __ ] [ __ ] You little [ __ ] A short time later, a man, reportedly the store owner's husband, arrived at the scene and provided additional statements about the events that had occurred. I was like this. So Okay. And they the lady with the baby shouted, "Hey, look, lady just stole skirts." She stole what? Skirts. Okay. As much as I count, like three skirts. Did you find them now? Yeah, yeah. You got them back. Okay. Yeah, and then I run after her. She was Okay, so what So once Okay, so they she said the lady stole skirts and then what happened? You approached her? Uh no, I went out and the lady on the door with the baby shouted So the girl already had left the store. Yeah, yeah, with the baby. >> So hold on. And there was another girl with her, too. Okay. So you approached her outside the store. Do you generally do that even though you're not the manager or anything? No, no, of course not. But because they were very scared the customer with the baby. She said she they were acting she was acting very weird. And they they got into the shop. They were got so scared and I panic I don't know Okay. >> what I was going to face. Okay. If she's she kept on stealing attacking. What do you mean? Uh other stuff outside with the She just tried to take stuff outside did she? >> No, I I stopped her. She I I was talking on 911 at the moment. I was on the phone. And she's trying to grab So, is she trying to slap you while you're on the phone 911 or is she trying to steal stuff? >> to and steal and hit me because I was trying to stop her while I >> hit you again after that or she tried? >> she tried to I was holding her. From the testimony, it was clear that beyond stealing, she was willing to attack others to escape. Yet she showed no remorse, even blatantly ignoring all of the officers questions. What's your first name? You going to give me your name or you going to get We're going to find out >> me to listen to you too? I just need your name. Are you Andy or Charlie? I have no idea who any of those people are. I do. Okay, so what's your first name? So, why the [ __ ] do you keep arresting me because my dad's a New York taxi driver? Okay. Como se tu bebe? Como se tu bebe? Come on your baby. She bit Daniel in the hand. She grabbed me. She didn't bite me. Why the [ __ ] would I bite you? I'm not. You have gum in your mouth. I do. [ __ ] Let another black [ __ ] drive me, [ __ ] Let another black [ __ ] drive me, [ __ ] Where's my phone? In the end, she was charged with larceny, battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and failure to appear. Her actions show that selfishness and aggression can escalate a situation quickly. Trying to evade responsibility only worsened her consequences and made the ordeal far more dangerous for everyone involved. Next, the man went on to cause chaos in other airport stores. So, when I came back, that's when I noticed I was missing a few things. Then I told my coworker. What are you talking about? What am I talking about? They got them there. On June 26th, 2023, police were dispatched to an airport after receiving a report of an ongoing shoplifting incident. The aim was to understand the details of the case and to have the witnesses provide statements for clarification. You know what it was? That's what he You know what that shirt says? No, I don't know what it says. >> Can you bring it back and open it up and take a wider look? Take a wider look. Can you stop that and just It doesn't look clear. What does that say there? I need to get a shot. I'm going to make it go again. Maybe get another another shot at a different angle. Oh, you guys want to press charges? Did we catch him? We don't. He stole almost a thousand dollars. Okay. And where did he walk over this way? Yeah, he went like this way. Yeah, Brookstone is the place he stole it. Sierra. Uh so what is he getting now? He's pushing a small roller bag that's white with a bunch of different colors. He's got a blue shirt with green lettering on it and he's got a gray shorts and black sneakers. He was headed towards the atrium. The Brookstone store? The Brookstone store. And they want to press charges. Copy a white male blue shirt, gray shorts pushing a cart with uh No, he's got a roller bag that's white with with different colors on it. He's got a hat on or anything like that? Yeah, he has a hat on. Jody, does he doesn't look like he's got a dark colored baseball cap on? And he's clean shaven. Where did he put them in his pocket or put them in his bag? He put one in his pocket. The other one he put it on the other pocket. And then he went around. Did you ever see him once he left the store? No, I was I was actually on break. Oh, okay. >> So, when I came back, that's when I noticed I was missing a few things. Then I told my coworker. All right. So, then he stole that and then he went he had stolen more stuff. Shortly after, police were also sent to the store where the value of the stolen items was clearly determined. So, the male came in the store, took about about property totaling whatever it kind of was, 440, 330, and 199. It was 950. Okay. Totally $950. Okay. And he was a a Hispanic male, white male? It was a white male. Well, you're not going to believe it. I just see him. He's in Oakley right now. He's in Oakley. He's in Oakley right now. Hold on to that. Immediately after spotting signs of the suspect, police quickly pursued him, causing the man to become extremely panicked as they approached. You have any ID? Uh Not on me, no. What are you doing out here? I'm waiting on a person to come in. What person to come in? Uh some What's in that bag? Nothing. Nothing's in that bag? >> Yeah, nothing. I got you on video taking stuff from that store. No. I'll put you away for me. I'll put you away for me. What you got in your back? What am I talking about? They got something in there. I'm about to get a pocket. You got more hot rod. I didn't steal anything. I don't have anything. Stop resisting, sir. Jesus. They got something in there. Stop resisting. >> I'm not resisting. Turn around. I've got him, Ivan. Yep. Yes. Hold on a second. Ah! Put him on the ground. Put him on the ground. If you don't get out of the ground, you're going to do it now. Hold on. I got that guy, Sarge. Go face first. Go face down. Put your hands behind your back. Do it. Put your hands behind your You're hurting my back. Put your hands behind your back. >> You hurt my back. Put your hands behind your back. Put your There you go, sir. You just broke a rib. The man's evasive actions forced police to swiftly apprehend him. Yet, he showed no intention of admitting anything. Come out of the Apple store, go down the hallway towards the inside of the park. Should be right out there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He said no ID, no nothing on him, right? Hey, it's right there. It's right there. >> Sarge? Yeah. I Yeah. Okay. No, they they ID'd him inside the store. They ID'd him? Oh, perfect. Yeah, there was no ID on him. Here. Really? There isn't anything. Yeah, well. Who is this Jesus guy? Come on, man. He's got nothing on him. Sorry, Tommy. That's all right. He's got nothing on him. Where's the other bag? Don't you have it? Yeah. Yeah, I got him, Sarge. This is his bag? No, that's what he brought in, yeah. But, it's like stolen from Disney. Is that his bag or any bag? >> No, we're missing the other bag. Yeah, he stole it out of the Disney store, yeah. But, he don't have the other bag. We had a lot of other stuff, eh? So, he might be with somebody else. In fact, the man's refusal to say anything implicitly acknowledged that what the police were doing was undeniable. And additionally, officers gathered further evidence during a search of him. Did you ask him about anything? No. Honestly, I We didn't even ask. Brand new. Take him back. Let me Let me take him back over there and see. This is the stuff that Yeah, this is the same. I got the same stuff. He had another bag. He had another bag. Yeah, I know. Where is the bag though? That's just it. >> The bag that he had We don't even know where the other bag is. Oh, he wasn't with one of those bags. Finally, the man was charged with grand theft in the third degree and resisting an officer without violence. The man's attempt to evade responsibility shows that denying wrongdoing only prolongs consequences. Cooperating early can reduce legal trouble and prevent escalation. Worse, these mothers even use their own relatives to shift the blame. I would never, you know, tell my kids to like steal that one of a thing. When kids take stuff, it's not like something like big item like that like a backpack. Like that's just kind of bizarre for a kid to take. On November 24th, 2024, police received a call from Walmart about two women loading carts with goods without paying, even with little ones watching as their parents carried out the scheme. When the officers arrived, the women assumed they could just walk away, but they were immediately stopped. >> You can stop right there. What do you Well, I don't know if that thing's going to fit through there is all I would worry about. I'm going to take this. You can stay with him right now, okay? You want them to walk out with their carts with their sisters or no? Yeah, they can. Yeah. This one was the two little kids. This one was the other kid. This is the one with the Yep, this is the one that was with the little itty bitty one. Okay. Okay. So, we'll just do separate receipts for each, you know, person. You did. You're no dummy. One of them has a new pair of shoes on. She said she goes with her and these go with her daughter. Okay. >> So, her daughter has Okay. Which which daughter, hon? There's three other girls out there. Like the itty-bitty, medium, or taller? >> Taller. Taller, okay. So, did you pay for these because >> even know those were up in there. >> Because these are in Those are no good until you activate them. >> And you don't have anything else in your purse? >> No, ma'am. Those are your shoes. You didn't take any shoes. It's the other one. The other girl I don't know. She said someone else had shoes on. These are mine. Those are yours, okay. Even more shocking, the mothers casually let their relatives carry unpaid items on their person, forcing the police to reclaim the goods to take control of the situation. Is it you that has stolen shoes on your feet? >> are with my mom. Okay, yeah. So, those are stolen. Your mom said so. We got to take those, hon. Does she have my Crocs? I will get them for you. I think she's wearing your Crocs, I believe. No, we have the same Crocs. Well, I got We got to take those shoes, okay? >> no, these are not These No, these are her white ones. I have black ones. No, your shoes on your feet. >> No, but my mom has my white ones. Yeah, I'll get your shoes, but we got to take those, okay? Your mom told me that those are stolen that's on your feet, so I got to get them. I think that. And then I'll be sure I'll come back with yours, okay? Just black Crocs? >> Yeah. Okay. I mean, what do you want to do? What What do the kids say? >> So, they sort of said that like mom told me to take it and just walk out. Clearly the children were naive, unaware that what the mothers were doing was wrong, while the police discovered even more items that had not been paid for. This you paid for? It looks like this. So you didn't pay for this? Correct? Or this? Is there anything in your purse that you didn't pay for? Ma'am? Yeah. Yes, there's stuff in your purse as well? Okay. All right. Are these items items you took out of there as well? No. No? Listen, this whole place has got cameras all over the place. I'm going to be able to tell if you put these things in your purse. If these are things that belong to the store, listen, it's not going to make a difference if you took five items or if you took 12 items. I just want to make sure they get all of their things back. So are these things that came from the store? Inside the loss prevention office, the woman in white tried to defend her actions, but her statements directly contradicted the testimony the police had already gathered. So here's the thing. I've spoken to the kids outside. They said, "Mom told us to bring the stuff out." Is that like tell me about that. No. I told them, "I'm not buying all that stuff, so put it back." I never saw them leave out of the store. I thought they would go back. I'm not buying all that stuff. Okay, I'm in line purchasing my things and they pay for a couple of my items. I This is something I bought so I don't have a problem with buying the stuff. I told them, "Look, I'm not buying all that stuff. Go put it back." I couldn't I did not see them walk out of the store so I would have stopped them. Okay. So, why why do you think they would lie to me about that? Cuz they're scared. Okay. You know, and they know I'm in here. Mhm. So, So, here's the thing. >> that they were scared. Um with the amount of stuff they took, like we can easily charge them with a felony retail theft from the amount. Right. Um Yet, with the other unpaid items recovered from the carts, it was hard to say the children had done it. But, the mother still tried to shift the blame and take responsibility. You know, I'll take the blame. But, I make sure this won't ever happen again. Like, really. Okay. >> I want to be in the car. It's a learning experience with my children. You know, cuz kids can pick up things. You know, I was a kid before, too. You know, and parents they know. Right, but kids don't pick up that amount of stuff. Like, I know kids Right. take stuff, but not that amount unless they're kind of told otherwise. You know what I mean? Like, that's just a lot of stuff for them to just walk out with. You know, I I did not tell them to walk out of the store with that, but with my children's behavior, I will take the blame. I'm their mom. I will take the blame. All right. Let me go talk to the other woman out there. If they just You're going to have to stay in here. So, um your kids The kids out there were saying that you guys had told them to walk out with the cart and go wait in the car. Mhm. Did you tell them to walk out of the store yourself? Mhm. Why would they lie to me about that then? Because they they probably scared. You told them do not come in here touching anything. It was alarming. If the police suspicions were true, this mother would rather pin the crime on her relatives than admit it herself. Even the other mother outside facing the same question thought the same way. Uh your kids the kids out there were saying that you guys had told them to walk out with the cart and go wait in the car. Did you tell them to walk out of the store yourself? Why would they lie to me about that then? Because they they probably scared. You told them do not come in here touching anything. Okay. So here's the thing. Like when kids take stuff it's not like Well like big items like that like a vacuum. Like that's just kind of bizarre for a kid to take, you know? Like So why would they take that stuff out of everything in here? I'm not sure. I don't know what they said. They They wanted to get Christmas gifts for people. They wanted to get Christmas gifts for themselves. Okay. You guys were working at a clock? So here's the thing. With the amount of stuff that they take we can charge them with a felony. Um So if you guys had told them to take the stuff out it's not the end of the world. It's not the crime of the century. But I don't want to have to charge the juveniles with a felony. If you guys had told them to take it out to the car then At this point the police noted from the receipts that it was clearly intentional on the part of the mothers with a mix of paid and unpaid items. It was time for them to face the truth. Here's the receipt for what you didn't pay for. What's your first name, ma'am? Shelly. Shelly, okay. So we're trying to get the honest truth of what's going on because right now you're all looking at felony charges which means in the case of you know, the situation with these kids. If you guys are charged with felonies and we decided to detain and hold you, the kids are going with us to DCFS. So, we're asking for honesty because we have to take we'll have to take the children in protective custody if we have to go that route. We need to know what was going on. I don't want these kids getting jammed up with something if the intent was and I've been doing this a long time, if the intent was able to send the kids out, you know, it's you send the kids out because it's going to be less conspicuous or whatever. Just be honest with us. You know, people are in hard times, we get that. We're we're trying to work with you. Your honesty and everything can be a determining factor of how we can handle this. You know, money's kind of funny. So, we picked up a few extra items. Okay. Um I'm not happy with this whole situation. I'm not thinking it's cool. No, and I It's not something that, you know, I do on a regular basis. I don't Yeah, I believe that. I believe that. Um this being like single mom and stuff is, you know, >> Struggling. Struggling. Sure. And so, we did pick up some items. Okay. What happened with the With the kids? Did you guys just tell them to go and push the carts out? Um And the reason I'm asking you this, I don't want them kids to catch any charges because they're involved as well. So, I just want And again, I don't get stuck on hesitate on your answers. Just spill it all out. I'm Listen, I'm dating a single mom. That was single before me. I get it. Struggling, scraping change up to pay for gas. I I've watched it. It's hard. It's hard. That's why I'm trying to like empathize and sympathize with you because I've watched it with her, okay? In the end, both women were charged with retail theft and unlawfully contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Even when children are involved, parents are ultimately responsible for teaching right from wrong. Trying to manipulate or shift blame only compounds the consequences and ensures the law catches up. Even more surprisingly, the woman was fired on her own day off. Yes or no, are you going to leave voluntarily or are you going to be arrested for trespassing? How am I arrested when I'm on on schedule? You're under arrest for trespassing. Sir? Ma'am, Get off of me. I'm not doing this. >> You are under arrest for trespassing. >> No. On January 23rd, 2025, officers approached a woman after receiving a report about an employee who refused to leave and showed signs of trespassing inside an Amazon warehouse despite not being scheduled to work. This was what happened when they arrived at the scene. Your cart, please. You said put it in my cart or what? Put it in your cart. What? Uh Officer Sachs is here to escort you off the building. Why have the police escort me off the building right Diamond, can I see your proof? Why would I get escorted off? Diamond, cuz we just had this conversation, remember? I asked you to nicely come off the floor and you refused. I said, "Do I need to call the police?" And you said, "I'm a grown woman." So, let's go through the steps to see if there's any miscommunication. Why would I be escorted off? Because you were not scheduled and you were refusing to leave. I have a picture that I was scheduled. Diamond, you do not I explained to you that this is your history shift. No, I don't have Please put away your cart. Do you want to see the proof that I have? No, ma'am. I'm not leaving. I'm on the schedule. Like if I wasn't on schedule, Diamond, I'm not going to I'm not going to continue having this conversation with you. I explained to you in detail. I showed you your schedule. I showed you the proof that you were not here. The woman claimed she had a shift scheduled for that day. The officers gave her a chance to prove it, but it seemed they had to wait quite a long time. Hm? How much longer is this going to take? I'm just looking at the information now. So, have you found your schedule? Keep me informed whether you found it or you can't find it. Are you >> I'm not I'm not leaving cuz I'm supposed to actually be here today. Well, I'm giving you an opportunity to show me this. How long is it going to take cuz I cannot wait all day. Ma'am. I'm just looking. I'm not going to wait all day, ma'am. What are you looking at? In my schedule. And are you supposed to be here today? Yes. Where does it say that? Cuz I we do have the schedule pulled up where it shows that she's not scheduled. Can you show me, please? Cuz she's not cooperating. Yeah, so we're trying to verify the name and turn over the ID. I'm sorry, his computer is very tiny. And here's her actual schedule. The amount of time the woman took to find her schedule was so long that another employee successfully obtained authorization to trespass her. This was what the officers did next. Okay, thank you. Bye-bye. Yes. She said I have the authorization to have the authorization to trespass her. Okay, can you say that in a definitive that you want to trespass? Yes. Can I have your attention? Yes. Okay. Here's the situation. You either leave or they're trespassing you. If you don't leave, then >> understand what that means. Means you have to leave. You do not have a choice. No. If they trespass you, you have to leave. If you do not leave, >> that was if I'm not on the schedule. I'm actually on the The schedule has nothing to do with it. Yes, it do. Ma'am. How What am I trespassed for if I'm not bothering nobody? >> They have told you to leave for the day. But I'm supposed to be on the schedule, so That is irrelevant. That is irrelevant. I will leave as soon as it's over. That is irrelevant. You need to leave. If you do not leave, you can be arrested for trespassing. How can I be arrested for trespassing? >> Because I will arrest you. So, are you going to leave or not? Ma'am. Yes or no, are you going to leave voluntarily or you going to be arrested for trespassing? How am I arrested when I'm on the schedule? That doesn't make any >> Whether you're on the schedule or not is irrelevant. To me. >> How am I being tres- That's not making sense. Last time I'm asking. What am I being tres- Last time I'm asking, ma'am. What am I being >> Are you going to leave voluntarily or not? It was clear that she was very good at dragging out the situation to make things difficult, but it did not last long because the officers decided to take stronger action. You're under arrest for trespassing. Sir? Ma'am. >> Get off of me. I'm not doing it. You're under arrest for trespassing. >> No. Why am I trespassing? Cuz I'm supposed to be on the property. >> They said you need to leave. Sir, I'm walking over to I'm telling you I'm touching you. What are you doing? I'm not doing anything to you, sir. I'm not I'm getting out of the car. Oh my god, are you serious? Yes. Put the phone down. Put the phone down. Then turn over. For what? I'm not doing >> You're under arrest. >> the schedule. You are under arrest for trespassing and not complying. Sir, I'm on the schedule. What are you doing? I'm not doing anything to you. Okay. You're under arrest for trespassing. I'm not doing anything, sir. I'm not touching you. I'm not yelling. You're under arrest for trespassing. How am I I'm about to I'll leave. I'll leave. I'm on the schedule, sir. >> No, you're arrested. You're arrested for being on the schedule. Can you take this off of me? Put your arm behind your back. You're arrested me for what? Trespassing. For trespassing? You were asked multiple times to leave. For leaving? How are you going to put me in jail for trespassing if I wouldn't leave? I'm I'm being trespassed for being on the schedule? Yes. I'm being trespassed for being on the schedule. That's funny. What What am I doing? I'm on the schedule. I'm on the schedule for today and I'm being trespassed. You just dropped me to the ground. >> I have one in custody. I'm not being aggressive. >> backup available? Right after successfully handcuffing her, the woman still pretended not to understand her situation, ignoring the officers completely. Where am I going to jail for, then? I'm going to jail for being on the schedule. No, ma'am. It's going to be the same amount of time. You were told that you were not working today and you were just to leave. You refused to leave despite multiple requests. A trespass was issued. You ignored it. You were under arrest for violation of trespass. I'm on the schedule. 10-12. I'm on the schedule. How am I being trespassed for uh working? I have a badge. How you going to trespass somebody who has a badge? Can I call my mom? No. I cannot call my mom? No. And I'm supposed to be here. You can call her after things have been worked out. What What needs to be worked out? I'm on the schedule. You're putting me out for being on the schedule. She was then escorted outside shortly afterward. That's her. Looks like she's wearing that. Okay. So, I'll say she can take it, I guess. Okay. Yeah, we can get it. There you go. And then, if you could hand me her personal items. Yep. So, that's all right. Hey ma'am. If you could stand over here, do not enter the vehicle yet. I'm going to take everything out of your pockets here for you. The woman was charged with criminal trespassing. Do you wonder why Amazon employees are not allowed to come to the workplace when they are not scheduled? Don't hesitate to leave a comment if you know the reason. No. Stop. Lincoln 3, I've got one resisting. Stop. You're with my child. You're making it worse, so quit fighting. On January 14th, 2025, police received a report from Nordstrom about a mother pushing a stroller while acting suspiciously. When officers arrived, surveillance footage quickly led them straight to the woman. Hello ma'am. Officer Newman with the Lemon Grove Police Department. Just so you know, you are being detained right now. I'm going to have you come back to the loss prevention office with me right now, okay? >> have Okay, well, we're going to figure that out. Like I said, I'm going to have you come back to the loss prevention office with me. I'm not going to handcuff you cuz I don't want to cuff you in front of your baby. So, if you could come with me. We'll talk about this all in a second. If you could come back to the office with me. Yeah, I I'm sorry but I I don't agree with you. I have Well, you're being detained right now, so So, I have these. Okay. Well, if you don't agree to come with me, then I'm going to put you in handcuffs. Stop. Ma'am. >> You're not free to go. I told you, you can come back to the office with me. >> my rights. No. It was clear this sentence marked the beginning of her resistance. Moments later, she escalated the tension, forcing officers to take stronger action right in front of her family, something nobody wanted to see. I told you you're being detained. You want me to put you in handcuffs or are you going to come to the >> No. Then are you going to come to the back office with me? Why am I being detained? >> Because suspicion of theft. You do not have a right to do that. You're being detained right now. >> Ma'am, please stop. No. Stop. Link it three. I've got one assistant. >> Stop. Ma'am. Stop. Can you grab her arm? Stop. Stop. You're going to come with me. You're going to go to the ground. You're making it worse. He was like wild. You're making it worse. So quit fighting. We'll worry about your kid in a second. Right now you're under arrest. Your kid's going to be okay. Keep moving. Your child's going to be all right. You decided to commit a bunch of crimes with your kid. Your child is now in our custody and he's going to be just fine with us. What? No. Yes. Yes. That's how that works. >> What about my kid? All right, take a seat. Where's my child? Take a seat. >> Take a seat. She screamed about her loved ones, even though she was the one who made everything worse. And because of her own actions, she faced a consequence she never wanted. Let's see how she reacted to that. I'm going to read you your rights, okay? Can we please make this speedy? I No. Yes, I can be quick. You're probably going to jail. No. You have the right to remain silent. Anything Sit. >> Sit down. I'm done doing this with you. Sit and listen. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say I have to read these to you, so just be quiet. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? Yes or no? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? I would like to go home. I can Well, that's not happening today. I tried to have you walk back to the >> My child. My child. My child. >> Okay, well you should have listened to me the first time rather than running away from me. >> Telling me you didn't do anything. >> any proof of anything. And that's what I was trying to figure out. >> You're under arrest with theft. Understand that? You don't have to say anything else. Relax. Your child is in our custody as of right now. >> No. No. No. >> Yes. Yes. That's how that works when you commit crimes inside of our city. That's how that works. And so as of right now, right? We're going to make sure that he's okay. But you are being held responsible for the crimes that you've committed. And we're going to get all of that sorted out. The more difficult you make it moving forward, the longer it's going to be before we can get you back and be reunited with your kid. Understood? Can we take care of this right here? >> No, we're taking care of this. This mother showed clear concern for her relatives, but in reality, her actions went against the responsibility a parent should have, especially when officers began searching the baby stroller. Uh we're just outside of Nordstrom on the north side. Perfect. Pacifier. He's all right? She's perfectly comfortable committing crimes with her child, using the stroller to commit these crimes. She's telling me, "No, I know my rights." when I'm telling her she's detained for a theft, arguing with me. So, so the next thing we need to figure out is if there's a responsible party, hopefully dad, that can come and pick up the kid, and then we can get that figured that piece figured out. Uh we also need to figure out He looks old enough like he's been eating actual food. >> Yeah. But we need to determine whether or not she's she's continuing like breast feeding like if if her going to jail is going to prevent him from being able to survive. Okay. We need to determine if that's the case or not. I don't think that's the case, but we need to suss all of that out. >> Yeah. Um so why don't you work on that piece next? >> Perfect. He seems to be doing all right. >> has a firearm on her. She does? >> Yes. Okay. It didn't stop there. Inside the suspect's bags, officers found a loaded weapon. And while she tried to justify herself, police uncovered even more stolen items. You want to screw it? The Crocs, I didn't mean to Those are just I forgot about those. I put those in there and then >> Okay, we're we're way past that. I was going to pay for the Crocs. We're way past that. Why are you doing What's your husband's I was going to pay for the Crocs and I don't know why you guys are What's your husband's name? You can't detain me for Crocs. I literally was going to pay for those. >> Okay, we can't detain you for Crocs. Even though it's theft, you walked out of there. >> I didn't mean to walk out. >> Okay, well, like I said, we're past that. What's your husband's name? I was caring for my child and I walked out. I'm so sorry. >> name? Is he breast feeding? Yes. How many months? What's your feet? Um she's not very cooperative. She's telling me the same thing again. I can't detain her because she stole Crocs. Um and she's telling me her husband's law enforcement, but she won't tell me anything else. I'll go talk. This might be too hard for you to eat right now, huh? Yeah, these might not be okay to eat. I don't know. >> At this point, officers tried to get her cooperation so they could find someone to care for her relatives, but it seemed she cared more about her own fate, constantly trying to change the course. So listen, I didn't mean to walk out with I literally was caring for him. It was an accident. I just set him I need to I was going to pay for them. That's fine. I I don't I don't need to hear the story about the the incident. As of right now, you're under arrest and here's the deal, right? Obviously your kid held your I need to explain something to you and then I'm going to let you respond. My hope is that I don't have to call CPS, but that is the only other option that I have if you don't give me a responsible party to call and contact to come pick him and and take care of him. >> He's out of my husband's out of town. No No Nobody else that you feel comfortable Nobody else that you feel more comfortable than CPS taking your son? I'll call my mom, but >> Okay, then Sir, what's a good phone number for mom? >> Please, can you just write me a citation? >> No. We'll be on We'll be on. Why are we beyond that? What we always do, standard procedure here, is to get fingerprints and do the drug test and do that with your child. Can we just do that here? No. Sir, No, it it takes a little bit of time. >> to be out of here. Well, your behavior has demonstrated that you don't need >> Cuz I'm worried about my child. >> Yeah, so are we, which is why I don't want to have to call CPS. In the end, the father arrived to pick up the relatives and the woman was charged with theft and obstructing a law enforcement officer. A parent's first duty is to protect their children, not drag them into trouble. Her choices turned a simple situation into chaos, all because she refused to take responsibility. You not going to be rude with me. With my baby in my stomach. My baby in my stomach. Face the Will you stop? >> Why is you doing that? You're resisting. >> resisting. Sit down. Really? On November 7th, 2025, officers responded to Walmart after receiving a report of theft involving a woman. She was later revealed to be a recently fired employee from the store. When officers arrived at the scene, she was already arguing in an attempt to deny her actions. You didn't ring it up. That is considered stealing, especially if you walked out of the store with it. It doesn't matter out of the store. I was in I was in the dollar Did you read your Miranda rights? >> the dollar Okay. I was in the dollar >> And you guys are ready to go for pressing charges on her and everything? Perfect. Okay, I'm just making sure you didn't argue with me. What what is the problem? I didn't do anything wrong. So What what's your name? Hey, Carissa. What about Hey, Carissa. If everything's going to escalate >> Hey, Carissa. I don't have a a right to go to court if anything escalate now. Hey, Carissa. Hey, Carissa. You're pressing charges on me for no reason. I'm telling you that I didn't steal those products on purpose. Carissa. I'm going to read you your Miranda rights real quick, okay? So, you guys taking me to jail because I'm telling you that I didn't steal those items. I'm trying to tell you I didn't steal those items and Walmart supposed to do that. They supposed to ask. They even ask me. Carissa. Listen. Regular people >> get your side of the story, okay? I just got to read you this first before I can start asking questions and talking to you, okay? That makes sense? Okay. Do you understand each of these rights? Do you understand each of these rights that I have read to you? No. No. I'm not on your time. I know, but Do you understand your rights? Yes? Okay, do you want to talk to me? I'm I'm trying to Do He doesn't know about this. He's not a cop, I'm a cop. Okay, do you want to talk to me about this stuff or not? What are we going to talk about? Are you just going to just tell me my rights or not? >> the all of the incidents. That's what I'm Okay, that's good. It was revealed that the woman was suspected of exploiting the store's checkout system to steal items, knowledge she had gained while previously working there. And the officers also brought this up during the questioning. You were employed here, right? But then you were stealing. >> I'm not stealing. That's what I'm trying to tell y'all guys. Okay. Okay. I'm telling y'all that the stuff that me and my boyfriend rung up the stuff that they said that we didn't take out the the bag or whatever that the lady said okay, do you want it? Do you want to keep this? Do you want to keep Nobody asked me that. Did you ever under ring any of this stuff? No, I talk about just put in the bag. Right. So, you scan one thing, but then slip another item in. Did you Did you ever do that? No, I She said that I did that with the shirt, but I could have sworn me and my boyfriend So, what what about the watermelon with the orange? And then you didn't just scan the orange. >> with the orange? I literally clicked the look up item, the look up thing. You don't have to scan the orange just to look it up. >> I know how that works, okay? I worked in a grocery store. I understand what you're saying. Here's the thing, okay? And she said that orange is only $0.47 and $0.29 and I could get that for free off my website. I got the freaking watermelon. Mhm. So, but that's You understand what I'm saying though, right? No. Because these receipts are going to show the record of what you purchased. >> low-key take me to jail because they're trying to tell me or she's trying to press charges because I said I can see once all this further further goes on, I can go to court to see why why was my part not She continued arguing that she was being framed, but she had no idea the officers had already prepared evidence proving her actions. From the incident on the 4th of October, okay? This shows watermelon, one item, one singular item. Okay? >> Okay, but why would I not just pay for this stuff and you guys telling me that I took an orange? Like that's just an orange. Okay. And then those shirts they >> And this is And this is not And this is not on that receipt, so you did not pay for that, but that was taken. Okay, I didn't just Okay, I'm just going to take this. I didn't just Oh, I'm going to steal from my job. And I'm literally got the whole fit on and everything. Like, can you just make it make sense? So >> to just steal some orange. That's $0.49. Right, but you just slipped that in the bag and then there's all the other items. >> Okay, I'm literally on the phone. I probably have several a lot going on that same day that I didn't Okay, rung it up and I just didn't ring up the orange. Like y'all just really getting on me about an orange. >> still theft. Okay, I didn't mean to take it. If >> So you So you admit to taking it? You admit to taking >> I I meant to grabbing it that I acci- I didn't accidentally ring it up, but I did just Okay, I'm just going to take this and put it in the bag. That's not what I did. I'm I would not ring up anything. I would just walk out the store like regular people do. I wouldn't just ring a few things up and just take the rest. Like what's the point of me going in the store to buy anything if I'm just going to take it? So you weren't stealing? I weren't stealing. I was buying stuff. So why would I just end up stealing? >> But you just said I just said that if I'm going to buy stuff, why would y'all assume I'm stealing it? She continued denying the act of taking an orange, but in reality, even she could not clearly explain it herself, and the officers pointed out additional details that exposed the contradictions in her statements. So, you just accidentally forget to scan a big box of t-shirts. >> forgetting to scan a lot of stuff. Oh, that's perfect. Thank you for just admitting to everything. >> No, like literally not just at this job. I'm not stealing. This happened at a different job that watched me. They said hit me up. You didn't freaking pay for it. I didn't You just scanned it. >> And you didn't freaking Thank you for to put that back. You just told me to take it off the thing. I'm like, "Oh, I'm sorry." Carissa, listen, do you have anything else Do you have anything else you want to say about any of these incidents? Why would I Why would I have to say anything else? Because you just said You just admitted to everything. No, you're bringing up I admitted to stealing that Walmart period. >> just said I've been forgetting that I've >> about everything in general, not just buying stuff at the store. >> Shush. I don't want to talk to you cuz you're talking to me rude and you're not talking to me normal. You talked to her normal then you raised your voice at me. Before I even started talking to you, you even started talking to me rudely. Carissa. >> That's not how you talk to somebody. Carissa, like I was explaining to you before we read you your rights. Forgetting Forgetting is still stealing. You went past the last point of sale. Hey Carissa. Hey Carissa. All right, Carissa, do me a favor. Go and hop up, all right? Yeah. Let me put my phone Don't be so rude. I have to turn off my phone and I have to get off the phone and hang up and tell my parents I got to hang up and get arrested. So, let me do that first.
