TASER. >> You are under arrest. >> Why? >> Why? >> That's a double question. Oh, stop. >> Imagine you catch thieves red-handed as they commit their crimes, and all they do is cry, beg, or resist to erase their wrongdoing. These unwise actions only make them face even harsher punishments. Like and subscribe to support more videos on the police in action. These are moments from the dumbest shoplifterss ever caught on police body cam. Beginning with this woman, shoplifting became her personal pickup system. >> For myself, gosh, I mean, I'm at the edge of a legal system that doesn't >> I understand you're going through the MAP program, but that doesn't mean like you could continually just go around stealing and there's no consequences. >> On May 15th, 2025, police received a report about a woman suspected of committing theft at a shopping center in Chicago. Upon arriving at the scene, officers stopped her shortly after she had left on a bicycle. How you doing? >> Hi, sir. >> Good. Can I talk to you for a minute? >> Yeah, of course. >> Where are we coming from today? >> What? Just downtown. >> Downtown? >> Where at? >> Um, I was at Blue Mercury. >> Okay. >> Um, where else? Starbucks for a bit. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And did we do any shopping? >> What >> did you do any shopping today? >> It was a browsing day. No. >> Okay. Do you have an ID on you? Do you mind? Of course. >> Or or if I can get your name? >> Sure. [snorts] >> Uh, other than Blue Mercury, where were you at? >> Oh, I was at Sunglass Sunglass Hut. Sunglass on? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is that where you're coming from right now? >> What's that? >> Is that where you're coming from right now? >> That's the last place. Yes. >> Okay. Um, did you buy anything there? >> Uh, no. >> No. Do you have any merchandise from there? >> Um, I'm not sure how this is like if you want them. Sure. >> Sunglasses. >> Something that I thought was left for me and um taken care of. So, I forgot to put pick them up the first time. >> Okay. Explain this to me. >> The store was giving me a bit of a trouble. So >> although it was clear that an incident had occurred, her statements were vague and unclear. Yet the police received additional information through their radio communications. >> How did this occur? >> Oh, I had them um held for me. Um >> what did you have >> several days ago? Oh, two. It actually was four pairs of sunglasses. >> We have local. I mean, if there's a problem, I can renegotiate. >> She also steal from the Mac store. I believe somebody last week, maybe. >> Oh, the Mac store is not quite >> Do you mind putting your kickstand down for me? >> Sure. >> And where are the sunglasses at? They're in here. >> Can I get them out? Do you mind? I'll get them. Thank you. >> How many are in here? Just two. >> What's that? >> Just two are in here, >> unfortunately. Yes. >> Okay. Yeah, I had four put away. >> And you said these were left for you? >> Um, I had tried them on already. Um, and I thought they were ready to pick up. Um, the communication didn't seem to be uh the message didn't seem to get across. So, >> to who did who did the message not get across to? >> Was that Oh, um, the store facility. The the >> So, you went to Sunrise previously? >> What? I was there several days ago. >> Okay. And they were You bought sunglasses or they were supposed to be leaving them for you? >> Supposed to be left to pick up. >> Why were they supposed to be left for you? I'm not >> Because they were chosen and then >> What do you mean chosen? >> They could be >> I was there to try them on in person and then to pick them up later. >> Did you pay for them? >> What? They were supposed to be paid for by who? >> My understanding. Um my husband. >> Her story was quite convoluted, possibly due to language issues and even when officers posed their questions, she was unable to respond directly or address the core points. Did your husband tell you that he paid for them? >> He did. Yes. >> Okay. Do you have like how did he tell you? >> Um it communication. >> What form of communication? >> Um you know it's wearables basically. So he's working in advanced technologies. Um and so we you know test what those technologies are. >> Okay. Your husband home. >> What >> is your husband home? >> He's actually in Amsterdam right now. >> Okay. And he paid for these from Amsterdam. >> Yes. To verify more thoroughly, the police searched her bag. And during that time, she made a few notable remarks about her own legal system. >> Do you mind if I look? >> Of course. >> Thank you. >> Not at all. >> You didn't steal anything else tonight? >> What's that? No. >> No. You sure? >> Um, you know, I There's >> Don't Don't go reaching in there. I know. That's fine. >> I already looked, but it's all right. Yeah, you're it's been looked there. >> Okay. What do you think should happen to someone that steals stuff from Sunglass? >> Um well, you know, under which system? I mean, >> under the the current system in DuPage County, Illinois. >> Um well, that you live in is I'm here against my will. I can't even agree with your question. So, I don't even understand. Under a certain legal system, there is a process. Uh but um for myself, gosh, I mean, I'm at the edge of a legal system that doesn't work very well. >> At this point, the police also discovered items related to the report, but her continued rebuttal was about some kind of system of her own >> from uh Blue Mercury. >> Oh, we were discussing that before. Sure. >> It's from Blue Mercury. >> Yeah, I suppose that's more I mean, >> did you pay for this? What >> did you pay for this? >> What do you want? Okay, I'm sorry. I'm getting I'm getting information here. Um there were a number of items. Um we have trouble with the pickup system currently which is why you know um there's some interface with the law unfortunately. Um it does depend on the cooperation of the store but it's like having an app that doesn't work properly. Um >> okay. Who's at the store? Justin >> 21 from CH 31. >> Um I unfortunately >> What's your status over there? What do they uh want? >> Um I'm not sure where you are in the system. >> Right now >> if alternative communications can be trampled. >> She has uh two sunglasses on her. She's admitting from taking from there. She also has product from Blue Mercury next door. I mean I I don't know if this is relevant or not but I'm part of the my cap program and I was told basically that I needed to uh exhibit symptoms of um well this is treating it as well. So this is why it's very very experimental and that's that's why we're having a bit of friction with the um you know perhaps they weren't trained properly in our system basically. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Um, I would say of New York Mercury I had a more difficult time um negotiating. Uh, but you know what happens is that it just takes several trips. So I would say this is fairly successful because I have a court appointment tomorrow that I need to make. >> Okay. >> Um, I also have a number of projects that uh involves um involves specifically his pair of sunglasses. Actually, >> perhaps the events she just described were leading up to the conclusion that she wanted to negotiate being released immediately and she should understand that her program does not exempt her from theft. >> Um, I'd appreciate it if I could go out of my way um and understand that the court system is actually watching and taking care of me. >> Okay. >> Um through my cap. Are you familiar? >> I'm familiar with my wonderful. >> So, >> how many how many cases do you have going where you're uh going through my cap? >> It's really fast from 2.1. Does that happen to be Isn't your Florence, >> huh? It is. Yes. >> Yeah. It's affirmative to the MYAP program, but that doesn't mean like you can continually just go around stealing and there's no consequences to it. You understand that? >> So, so I have offered you the product which you are not taking up. I have indicated the communication difficulties with the shop and also that she's playing both sides. So, she's saying that there's something wrong, but I >> Frank Edward 7089. >> I was basically given the keys to the >> In the end, the woman was handcuffed and charged with felony retail theft. This case showed a simple truth. Trying to bargain after getting caught never works. Once you steal, you face the consequences. No program or excuse can erase it. Even worse, this shoplifting woman already carried multiple warrants. >> You are under arrest. >> Why? >> Why? >> For what? >> That's a double question. >> I'm sorry, but like >> I can actually because you're going to jail. >> You can do it in the jail, but you can't do it on the side of the road. >> On March 24th, 2025, deputies in Florida received a call reporting a woman with multiple active warrants at a parking lot. When they arrived, things [snorts] immediately descended into chaos as she appeared ready to flee. Right there. >> Hands. [screaming] Hands. >> HANDS. >> GET OUT OF THE GROUND. GET OUT OF THE GROUND. TASER. TASER. TASER. TASER. TASER. TASER. >> NO. NO. I GOT HER. >> I GOT HER. I got her. Don't taser. [screaming] Taser. Don't taser. >> The woman's escape attempt was full of obstacles. Blocked by vehicles. Trapped by a car door. restrained by others and now she had no idea why it was happening to her. >> You were under arrest. >> Why? >> WHY? >> FOR WHAT? >> THAT'S a dumb question. >> She's a driver. Yes. Go back to the car. Watch the car. >> For what? >> FOR WHAT? WHAT DID YOU JUST DO? >> WELL, I JUST CRASHED the car. >> Yeah, because you're stupid. THAT'S WHY. >> WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING to text at me for? >> You have warrants for your arrest, young lady. Number one. Number two, when you see a police officer, you don't flee. And I don't even know if you don't have a license. So that's why you're in handcuffs. Okay. >> Witness or anything? >> If you saw something, absolutely. >> I saw her. I think you pull up. >> Yeah. If if you don't mind us hanging out for like 5 minutes. >> Oh, I'll stick around. >> No, no, no. >> No. No. What? >> No. No. >> Young lady, you're not going to dictate what happens. You understand? Okay, sir. You are not in control and you are not in charge. >> Okay. >> I know it was a little bit much, but it's all done. No hard feelings. Okay. But again, as long as you act like a young lady, an adult, he'll treat you as such, okay? But the minute you get out of control, you're going to get treated like that. Okay? Zero tolerance. You understand me? >> The officer's words echoed the truth. A happy ending never comes for those who do wrong. At this point, the deputies began searching her, and it was clear this [music] wasn't her first encounter with such a situation. >> I'm going to have you stand up. Okay, I'm going to help you. Ready? Here we go. 1 2 3. All right, we're just going to go over to the front of this car. All right, H. I'm going to give you the same opportunity I give everyone. I'm going to ask the same questions I ask every single person. You have anything on you that's going to poke me, stick me, stab me, hurt me in any way? Okay. Do you have anything on you that you should not have on you when you go into the jail? The reason I'm asking is >> a third degree felony, >> right? Yeah. You're going to go through a body scan, so they're going to be able to Okay. I just like to ask and give everyone that opportunity. Okay. >> You have to pass from the outside. >> Nope. You're under arrest. I can search anywhere I want. camera on. >> Yo yo yo yo. You can't be doing that. >> Okay, you need to stop pulling away from me. >> I'm sorry, but like >> I can actually because you're going to jail. You can do it in the jail, but you can't do it on the side of the road. I can. No, >> you can't. That's my man. >> Meanwhile, deputies searched the woman's vehicle and everything inside raised suspicion that the items were connected to theft and illegal resale. >> A lot of stuff is nasty. >> Dude, this would have been a good sniff right here. >> Yeah. It would be a good bite, too. >> That, too. Imagine going from one to the other. >> She ain't pay for all this, bro. >> Yeah, there's a whole bunch up here, also. >> She got more in there. >> I haven't checked this out yet, but we're about to find out. >> So, this is why I found it here. So, >> this is what was scattered. I took pictures of that. >> When did she start selling again? Huh? Just uh I don't know. >> Yeah, just leave it there and also take photo. >> Oh, >> the moment this bag appeared, deputies realized the woman was carrying additional crimes as the contents inside [music] were truly astonishing. >> Hey, are you taking photos of this? cuz I don't know how you're going to remember all this. >> Man, we got more in the back. Probably Easter. >> What she say? >> That's not my stuff. In the end, the woman was charged with resisting arrest without violence, theft, and possession of controlled substances. Trying to hide wrongdoing only leads to deeper trouble. The woman's actions show that evasion never pays off. In the next case, this Gen Alpha didn't even seem to recognize that what they were doing was wrong. >> Can you act alone? >> Well, who the is? >> On October 17th, 2022, police were dispatched to Dollar Tree after reports of a girl shoplifting. She was known for previous disturbances and resisting officers. So, what happened this time? Let's see. Hey, >> officer Evans police. >> What's going on? >> Nothing. >> Okay, so I just pulling up. I saw you go running in there real fast. >> Nope. I was chasing at the hub. >> Okay. All right. You got any weapons or anything on you? >> You got any weapons or anything? >> No. >> You're not free to go. You're not free to go. >> I got a nice little father. Put your arm back down on your back. >> Put your arm back. >> Put your arm Put your arm behind your back. >> Put your arm behind. >> Hey, bro. Get your pelvis off. >> Put your arm behind your back. >> All right. Nope. Put that back down. >> All right. You all need to walk away. >> Arrest my cousin. You arrest my cousin. >> Okay. Go away, dude. >> Walk away, guys. >> Go away. >> Walk away. I got lots of handcuffs. I can >> man. Can you get your hand off my bro? You got anything on you that's going to poke cut a hood for you? >> My fingernails is going to poke cut. >> Okay. >> It's a mother. >> And I got that from Home Depot and I have a receipt for it in my >> Didn't I see you this morning? >> I don't know you. >> Yeah. >> It seemed this time she was slightly more cooperative, at least for the moment. But as the officers began escorting her to the patrol car, she began to resist forcefully. I'm doing the go on my wrist. Why the he was pinching me? >> Cuz you're pulling against the handcuffs and throwing your fingers up. Don't hit me. Okay, that's a >> I didn't hit you. I picked you. It's a different I'm guessing that is hers. That's hers. >> Oh, that's my homeboy jack already. >> All right, hold on, man. Hold on. Now, now it's part of an investigation. Buddy, >> stop trying to headbutt me. What are you doing? >> Hey. Hey, don't hit him. I saw you trying to headbutt him. Don't do that. >> Don't make THIS HARD. >> STOP THAT. How old How old are you? >> I don't want this video. Get the >> 12 or 14. >> She's trying to kick and head butt me, so watch out. Yeah, exactly. >> You're going to get You're going to get put to the floor. Stop it. >> We're going to put you to the ground. Stop it. Can you act a little mam? >> And we meet again. >> Shut the up. I'm tired of your I'll be a >> on the phone. >> Even while her arms were bent and she was restrained, the girl continued her resistance through her words and phrasing. >> Exactly. I don't got on me. Get the off. We pulled like a 9 in butcher knife off of you. >> Okay. >> Oh. Well, I'm going to knee you in your if you don't get the on my leg. I'm being so serious. >> So, here's what we're going to do. We're going to stand up and we're going to get in MY CAR. OKAY. >> STAND THE [screaming] UP, THEN. >> OKAY. >> YOU'RE CRASHING MY LEGS. >> WELL, it's cuz you're trying to kick us. >> Well, good. And I should kick you and I should bite you and I should head bite you. >> I got every reason to with your >> So, we're going to get up. If I get the of these handguns, I swear I'm beating all your ass. >> Not you, cuz you come stand up. >> Nope. >> OKAY. OH, I don't like YOUR >> HEY, DID YOU JUST RIP my >> Stop. Stop. >> Get the my arm. We ain't married. I don't know your >> Stop. >> Get the off me. >> Stop. >> I'm a >> Stop. >> You shut the up. I don't even know you got a >> Don't buy me. Don't me. >> I wish you would hit me up. >> Her anger showed no sign of stopping, prompting the officers to try to calm her down. But it was not easy to get her to comply. >> Listen to me. Do what I say. Put your leg in. >> Put your leg in. Listen to me. >> You're making this worse for yourself. Look at me. >> Don't grab me. >> I'm talking brother. I will whip your >> to Are you listening to me? I need your attention here. Are you listening to me? Are you listening? Are you listening? >> Calm down. You're making this worse. >> Put your leg in. But you're making this worse. >> Dollar Tree. >> The only way that you can make this better is if you stop. You cannot resist right now. You're already in handcuffs. Put your leg in. >> Come on. Put your leg in. M >> Hey, listen. Listen. I need your attention here. Put your leg in. I'm trying to help you. >> Shanty, I'm tired of this. This is sex. >> Put your leg in. >> Put your leg in. >> Hey, put your leg in. I'm trying to help you. >> I'm trying to tell her something. >> You can't talk to her right now. >> Not right now. >> Once you come around here with us, we can help you out. Okay. >> How the [ __ ] you going to help me out? Cuz I want you to be able to start back. Put your feet and we roll out the window. I'm gonna come by here. Tell us here. >> At this point, the officers spoke with bystanders and store employees solely to clarify that the crime had indeed occurred. >> Are you guys related to any of this? >> Okay. >> Just trying to make sure >> this her auntie, this her mom. >> Just trying to make sure that >> that's damn light. WE SHOULD [laughter] MAKE SURE THEY ON the right. If they not, they go home. >> We uh we pull a butcher knife off of one of them who we were here because of stealing. So >> I I would I would personally say that's probably >> right. No, but does anybody work for Dollar Tree? >> How you doing? >> Hey, did you have anybody steal anything from you just a minute ago? >> No, I don't think so. Miss Linda, I mean that that young girl that ran out of here, she was coming in from somewhere else, right? >> Yeah. She think she ran I was over there, so I didn't really see anything, but Miss Miss Linda said she ran in the door. I think she might have been running from another um >> she was running from us. >> So, okay. I just want to make sure nothing got snatched up in in that few seconds cuz I saw her go running in here and that was >> So, I just want to make sure everything was okay. On the suspect's side, once she had truly calmed down, the officers pointed out her role in the incident, but she still seemed firm in her mindset. >> Everybody, though, cuz y'all think that's funny. That is not funny at all. >> Okay. Well, all right. The the issue here is that those cuffs need to stay behind you. Okay. That's problem one. >> Okay. Problem two is with with you keep hitting and banging and yelling and stuff like that, it makes it really hard for us to work with you >> on stuff. need to work with you. Solo business partner. >> Okay. All right. Well, you might want to call your solo business partners cuz uh when we're done at Memorial, you're going to RYDC. Okay. >> This is enough for them in the bathroom. So, I'm >> right now I don't feel like hearing that because if I if I really >> nurse, >> you do understand this behavior is what led to all of this to begin with, right? >> No, it begin with you following it. >> Okay. nurse and accusing me of trying to somebody here for >> stuff. >> I might have to ask you anyway. So you might answer >> a bunch of charges. >> Just tell them. Tell them what's up. It's written on the paper. >> Yeah. I don't know them. >> Uh shoplifting and then filing instruction battery. Um possession of tools for a crime. >> I mean I feel like it just says on black, but okay. She was charged with shoplifting obstruction. Possession of tools for the commission of a crime and battery on a law enforcement officer. Even seemingly minor crimes like shoplifting can escalate quickly when suspects resist arrest. Cooperating with law enforcement helps ensure everyone's safety and prevents additional chart with no resistance. This woman still didn't make things easy for the officers. >> Then why am I not free to go? >> Because you have been identified as stealing somebody's wallet. I'm not been identified until somebody's wallet. >> On December 5th, [music] 2021, police were called to a TSA checkpoint following a theft. Upon arriving at the scene, the distraught victim recounted the ordeal she had just experienced. >> What happened? >> It was in the bathroom. >> I was My flight's boarding right now. And I put my backpack with my wallet in here and I was consolidating my bags. The piggy went to the bathroom and I left it right outside the door. She grabbed it, opened it up, took my wallet, my ID, and all my stuff out right there in the bathroom. Like five seconds there. Then I grabbed my bag and I asked everybody, "Did you see? Did you see what happened?" They're like, "No, no." They have my wallet, they have my ID, they have everything. >> Okay. >> Can you identify anything about that? >> No. No, nothing. THAT IS A LOUIS VUITTON WALLET. My credit cards are in there. everything. Somebody saw me sleeping at the terminal who followed me. >> All right. So, they want us to open up also. >> What's your name? >> And you said a Louis Vuitton wallet. >> Yes. >> Brown. >> It's brown. So, it's the the LV logo. >> It's the logo wallet. >> How much is that? >> $1,200. >> Is it the the bill fold pipe or >> It's a zipper. It zipped all the way up around the clutch. >> At that moment, another officer arrived after recovering the victim's wallet and even provided information about the suspect responsible. >> Listen, man. Relax. >> If this is yours, I'mma give you the claim. For the hype on this, it can't happen around me. >> I'm not the hyper. >> Okay. Looking for a white female, white fur coat, burgundy roller bag with a white face mask. She's the one that dropped the wallet off over there in front of a different another female. and just left. >> So they took all my cash. >> So that's what they told me. White female, >> white coat, burning the roller bag and she walked she walked this way. >> She walked that way. >> Yeah. So you want me to try to pass you see her >> and maybe you see that's a lady she know who she saw dropped the white off. >> Okay. Who who saw her drop the wall off? >> On the corner this way. You want us to go? >> Do you need anything else from me, sir? >> If we if we if we find anybody, do you want to prosecute? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. What What's What's missing? >> Just all my cash. >> Just the cash. The $7 >> I got my ID. I've got >> But the $70 cash is gone. >> The $70 cash is gone. >> Okay. >> Thanks to bystanders, the police were able to approach the woman exactly as described by the victim. Notice her attitude during the encounter. >> You dress in here? >> Yeah. Could you um could you come with us for a second? Let me >> I'm sorry. >> Could you come with us for a second? >> Can you have Can you have a seat over here for us, please? >> Right here. >> Let me get a lady, >> please. Do you have any identification? >> I don't know. >> I'm sorry. >> Yes, I can. >> Can I see it, please? >> Yes, of course. >> What am I getting a citation for? >> You're not getting a citation? You're not getting a citation, ma'am. >> So, can I have my brush birthday? >> No. No, not yet. Did you drop a wallet? >> Yes, I did. >> You You dropped What? What? What? Where? What wallet did you drop? >> This one? >> No. Did you drop a brown wallet? >> No, I didn't. >> You didn't? >> No. >> Okay. Well, why is somebody telling us that you did? >> No. I don't know why. >> Why is somebody telling us that you dropped a wallet? The police continued to ask questions close to the issue to be able to collect more information, but received back still the innocence from the suspect. >> Ma'am, there's nothing. >> Ma'am, a witness saw you drop some other lady's wallet. >> I found the wallet and I dropped it. >> Okay. Where's the cash out of it? >> I don't know. >> What do you mean you don't know? >> I don't know. You can show search me. Search me. >> Where's the What's this? >> I don't know. Search me. >> Where's the Where's Hold on. Hold on. >> It's your money. >> It's your money. You don't know that it's your money. >> I know that it's my money. >> How do you know that it's your money? >> Because it's my money. >> Because it's my money. >> Let me Let me go see. Let me go talk to the victim. See if she wants to press charges. >> Okay, we've got her. >> We've got the We've got a a witness that saw her drop the wallet. But if you want to prosecute, you got to stay because she's out of state. >> I have to go for work. My hand's dying. >> Okay. >> I got a funeral. So >> All right. So you're So you're good with h you're good with having the wallet back and everything. >> I I don't have a choice. >> All right. >> After the officers updated everything with the victim, they returned to the suspect and made their decision. >> Can you give me my passport? >> No, not yet. >> Not yet. >> Not yet. You're not free to go. >> Why? Why am I not free to go? >> Because you have been identified as stealing somebody's wallet. >> I'm not been identified as stealing somebody's wallet. >> I I just And you admit And you admitted to me that you picked up the wallet and then dropped it. >> Yes. >> Okay. Have a seat. >> There's things that we have to check. And then depending on that, you'll either make your flight tomorrow or you won't. >> Okay. Yeah. Okay. But in the meantime, >> can you can you can you talk to your detective? >> The detective is coming is be he'll be here in just a few minutes, but he's got to go to the office. Okay. He's going to check the video. And then, like I said, depending on what he finds, we'll go from there. Okay. But in the meantime, you have to stay calm and you have to stay seated. >> Can Can I Can I please have a margarita? >> No, you can't have a margarita. No, you can't have a margarita right now. >> When we're done when we're done here, if if you're free to go, then you can go have a margarita then, but not right now. No. >> Can please. >> After everything, the cameras confirmed the woman walked right behind the victim into the restroom, and the footage showed her placing an item from her own bag, exactly where airport security later found the wallet. She was charged with grand theft. When you steal, there's always something watching and someone paying attention. [music] The truth has a way of showing up and the consequences will follow. Next, this scammer was even deceived by her own story. >> I have a job. I work. Yes, but this is online company. I don't know if I'm getting fried out of this or what. >> Who would be your supervisor? What's his name? >> I don't know his name. >> On January 22nd, 2025, police were dispatched to a bank after receiving a report of a woman suspected of attempting to cash a fraudulent check worth $5,000. Upon arrival, the woman appeared anxious, fearing she might have been scammed. >> Hi. >> Hi. How are you? >> Here in this starts happening, we show up. >> Oh, >> okay. So, basically, I was working for a company online and basically um I did the interview and everything. So, when I did the interview and everything, they started giving me customers to talk to the people that was online. That was it. That was all I contact I did my deposit. I did it to like a a bank account that I have. It never went through. So I called. I'm like, "Okay, where's my paycheck?" They told me, "Okay, we going to have to send it out." And that's what they did. I don't do fraud or none of that. I'm I'm hurt right now because they basically just >> What's the name of the company? >> It's called um It's Uh, I got proof on on my phone. I don't do none of this. I don't, but you know, >> I have a job. I work Yes, but this is online company. I don't know if I'm getting fried out of this or what. Like, that's why I look So, I'm >> You get your idea? >> Yes, I do. >> How long did you work for them? Were you >> on a full month? >> A month? >> Yes. Thank you. >> He keep asking me questions. I'm telling him I don't even know. Like >> if something doesn't look right on their end, >> I understand that. But I'm telling him >> federal. So >> they have to watch their end or their >> big trouble, right? Yes, I understand that. I don't do this. >> See what they want to do. >> Her story was quite convincing when playing the victim after knowing she might be caught. And her story had a few details that made the police suspicious. >> Okay, >> so we get a call here. We got >> because he just said he called them and they said they don't know me, but I'm the I don't know y'all. I'm doing this off internet. The internet can be fraud. I'm like I'm doing this off the internet. >> Well, then you would definitely want him to investigate it to >> I did. I just told him everything >> for like your company that you're working for. >> I told him everything. >> No. We're asking you for the company you're working for and you couldn't even tell me the name of the company that you're working for. >> You see where I'm going with this now? >> Huh? I just told you. I said it's like >> I'm telling you I I can't I don't know. >> So he's checking into it. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Maybe it's somebody that's doing this to other people. We >> That's what I'm saying. And I'm I'm pretty like I'm 21 y'all. I work with kids autism. That's my mainly job. This is this was just a extra job that I want to, you know, to get more income. But I didn't know that I was going to get fried to the point that I'm stuck in this. >> There's a big problem with it. >> I fried myself. This is why I'm mad right now. I'm not even mad mad, but I'm very upset. Like I went through this. I didn't know that was fried. So, so what we're going to have to do is we're going to have to find out. >> Mhm. >> If you're saying they sent this to you online as a way of tracking this, we're going to find out. Um, of course, you know, we we're going to have to contact whoever issued it to, find out what, you know, what they're doing. >> The woman insisted the check wasn't forged by her. The police continued asking questions about [music] her story to uncover the truth. >> Telling me about >> Yes. >> where they gave you a bogus. You're saying would you ever have any other situations like that? >> What? >> Where you got a bogus somebody gave you a bogus check? >> Not like this. >> It was like a He sent the picture and basically I took a picture and dep tried to deposit. He was like, "You can deposit it to your He's a white dude, too." >> Okay. So, it's the second time for you that you've had this happen. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> That's why I'm like like >> You say you work for them a month, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. cuz I that was I was trying to get another income. >> Okay. >> But my actual job of me going in is I work with autism kids. >> You've been doing that for uh a month. >> I've been doing that. What? This >> the aut You say you work with autistic kids? >> I've been doing that since March. >> Okay. >> Doing that since March. >> Okay. >> I love it. That's wild. Well, yeah. It's a good thing to uh anytime you can work with the kids and help them out, it's always a good thing. Yeah. >> It became even clearer how vague her story was as the woman didn't even know the names of the people she claimed were involved. >> And what's your supervisor's who would be your supervisor? What's his name? >> I don't know his name. >> Who do you work for? Like Like who do you report to? >> Um it's >> Do you see what I'm saying? Like if you if you work somewhere, you got to have somebody >> who I report to, right? [clears throat] Yeah. And it's some dude. I don't know his name. >> You don't know his name. >> I know that. I don't know. >> Too like that. >> It's time slips. >> Okay. Okay. >> He's making a copy of it. >> At this point, after the [music] police finished working with the bank, they made their decision regarding the woman. >> Um, we are going to put you under arrest. Um, we are >> What? Yeah, >> but for what? >> Don't look into it. >> We're just going to look into it further. >> Scary, y'all. This is scary. I'm getting fried myself. >> We're going to look into it. I'm going to have to pay you to give it all right away. >> Yeah, I'm getting fried. Like, this is a old lion [ __ ] Like, so it's probably anybody can whoever I was talking to, anybody that could be anybody who gave me the check or anything. That's why I'm saying like I don't do this. And then I heard you say that you sent a a money that was $27 in my account. >> I heard you say that. >> Yeah. We're just looking at we have to look >> trans. Okay. >> And I am just going to search you before we put you into our vehicle. >> Just make sure you have no weapons. >> Yeah. We're going to do this in front of my squad car. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Okay. So, I'm just walk in the back of it. Okay. >> Okay. >> Is she got a good handle on her? >> I didn't let radio know yet cuz >> Yeah. Yeah. I got you. I know you. I got you. Yeah, you'll fine. >> Finally, the bank confirmed the check was fake. The company listed on the check denied her association and confirmed that the check was fraudulent. And the woman, Bazahali, had been arrested before in November 2023 for multiple Walmart thefts. She was charged with attempted check fraud. Trying to cover up wrongdoing, no matter how convincing, never pays off. Even this dramatic woman even had a role prepared for her performance after being caught. >> Come here. Come here. Joe, come here. >> On March 14th, 2024, officers rushed to Target after reports of a female shoplifter. Even worse, she had already been banned from multiple Target locations. At that moment, police and store staff watched her every move, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. >> She was in here yesterday doing the same and I'm just sick of her honest cuz when they go to the fitting room like we can't >> Yeah. You can't really see anything. >> Yeah. So hopefully her bag is full and she like will double this was her yesterday. >> Did she steal anything yesterday? >> I don't know. It's about what she was looking around. >> Yeah, she was looking real hard, you know. But she'll like double select. Like she'll get like three pairs of men's pants, two of the same shirt, two of the same purse, so that when she leaves the basket, it looks like she left everything behind. >> But she never pays for anything. Yeah, this is definitely her. She had the same phone today, so she's probably stuffing her back. >> She's in there now. >> Still in the filming room. >> Mhm. Will he be able to slip out without her seeing her? >> Yeah. >> Go fast. Go super fast. >> The moment the woman crossed the final checkpoint, officers quickly chased after her and what followed was a difficult arrest. >> Ma'am, come here. Come here. >> Come here. >> What? >> Yo, come here. >> Hey, >> stop. move. >> Oh, put your hands behind your back, >> ma'am. Ma'am, relax. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Relax. >> Hands behind your back. >> What? >> My cuffs. You got yours? Yeah. >> Ma'am, stop resisting. >> Okay. All right. >> Your ball's going to resist. >> I got a concussion. >> Damn. 95 for use force. >> Use force. >> Damn tripped back. >> She kept pulling for me. >> Hold on. I need to call my kids. >> I got to call my kids. >> Man, let go of the phone. They're under arrest for shoplifting and now obstruction as well. >> Damn, you made me hit my head. I didn't make you hit your head. >> EMS. >> Yeah, they're in route. Damn. >> EMS is in route. >> Once she was taken into the lost prevention room, she used her own arrest as an excuse to complain about her condition. And even worse, she faked her misery in the most obvious way possible. [laughter] >> I need to tell him I'm not coming to his school. And I need to call my dad. He nervous. >> Okay, we'll get that taken care of. >> Well, my head is spinning. And I ain't going to lie. >> EMS is in route. >> My [ __ ] is stumping. I'm about to pass out. I'm not playing. >> EMS is in route. >> Y'all got to take me to jail. >> Yes. >> Absolutely >> for what? >> Stop lifting and obstruction. >> Can I please make one phone call? >> Give me a second. When when I put you in the car, I'm ready to transport. I'm going to let you make a phone call. >> EMS is in route. attending 150 street. >> Ma'am, sit up in the chair, >> man. >> Those are very controlled for >> Yes, sir. I don't know. >> Ma'am, >> just turn over on her side. Turn over. >> Get on your side. Get on your side. Get on your side. >> If you're going to play this game, >> just keep running. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Power. >> [sighs] >> Ma'am, ma'am. Ma'am, >> we were taking off. >> Where are you located? >> Her seizures were so perfectly controlled that officers [music] saw right through the act. And she had no intention of dropping the performance, only making their job harder. >> You want to put the cuffs to the front? I need you to stay still. Put your hands in the front. Roll over this way. Ma'am. Ma'am, roll over this way. >> We're going to move your handcuffs to the front. >> You want to sit up? >> Come sit up. Sit up. >> Hang on, >> Miss Jackson. Just let it be. and she I had a hold of her and she was pulling away from me and so I tripped her foot. She fell back and she hit she did hit her head. Um we got her back up. She was walked in here with a spine and she said her head was pounding and then she sat down in the chair in there and then fell very controlled manner fell out of the chair and then started having what looked like a seizure on the floor. But if I'm not mistaken, if you have a head, doesn't wouldn't you immediately have that reaction? >> Okay. >> At this point, she was transported to a medical center for evaluation. Yet she kept complaining about her head smoothly and even throwing in claims of racism. >> I already know that I'm hurt and I already know I'm hurting. Ain't nobody tell me otherwise if my head not spinning my shoulder not hurting and my back not hurting. They they ain't got to tell me that. I already know that y'all trying to be rude for me cuz I'm black. Cuz I'm black. That's why she tell me that I'm stealing. She see me take something out. Y'all accuse me of stealing. That's what that is. It's okay though cuz God sees what y'all doing in Are you Mr. Jackson? >> Hey, I'm Derek. I'll be the ER nurse taking care of you. >> You need to take me to the jail. >> What's that? >> Take me to the jail. >> I'm I don't do any of that. I'm I'm at I'm >> don't want to be seen. I said they need to take me to the jail. >> Oh, okay. >> Y'all are going to tell me that my hair is spinning. >> I didn't say anything to you. >> You guys want to take her? No, she I would like her to clear. Yeah. >> Yeah. If y'all Yeah. If you guys just give us paperwork saying she refuse treatment, we'll take the job. Perfect. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> All the white people work together. All the brains and smiles. Y'all got secret little codes that y'all. >> Man, what are you talking about? >> Just What are you talking about? >> Know me cuz I'm black. >> The woman thought that the more drama she created, the less the officers would care about her wrongdoing at the store. But she had underestimated their resolve. >> Has nothing to do with race. So, it has to do with you had a bag full of merchandise. You had a You had a bag full of merchandise. That's what That's what it has to do. >> Stealing. How do you know I was stealing? >> Cuz you didn't pay for it. That's called stealing. >> Did she see me take something? >> Doesn't matter. You walked You didn't walk in with it and you walked out with it. >> I didn't walk in with a bag. >> You didn't walk You didn't walk in with a bag full of merchandise. Man, >> she didn't know if I had merchandise. >> All the merchandise had tags on it. What are you talking about? >> But she didn't know. >> Did she see me? >> Just Just stop. This is nothing about race. There's no race. No, it's not. It's You stole And that's it. And now you're going to jail for it. >> You shouldn't have stole this morning. Okay. >> You made you made You made a wrong choice and now you're going to jail. >> No, you're right about >> that's what it's about. It's not about race. >> I know. >> It's not about race. >> I did make a wrong choice. >> Cuz if you if you were white and you you were caught stealing, you would have been going to jail, too. >> No. >> Okay. >> She would have never called y'all. >> Just stop. Stop. >> I know, but I'm not I don't want cuz I know what's wrong with me. I know my head hurt my back. >> You're You have a You have a medical degree. You're a doctor. >> Hey, doctor. I had a psychology. >> Are you a doctor, though? >> But I'm telling you, I know my body. >> You know you weren't supposed to trip me like that, right? >> Ma'am, you know you wasn't supposed to run away, so please relax and stop stop all the all the foolishness. >> The woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting and obstructing law enforcement. Now, meet a so-called fake rich woman who brazenly loaded up carts as if she were shopping in her daddy's own store. >> Before I handcuffed you, >> I had one shopping cart. I have two shopping carts. I think my god brother had one and I had one. >> No, you had two right there. On January 21st, police rushed to a Walmart after reports of a woman pushing a cart overflowing with items past the checkout without paying. Watch how she tried to justify this reckless act. >> What do I go to jail for? >> Not resisting. >> I'm not resisting. >> Put your Put your bag there. Put your bag there. >> Right here. >> What am I going to jail? >> You're under arrest for shoplifting. >> But these are supposed to be returning us. They're supposed to be for See how this works is you can't take stuff from inside and not pay for it and take it out and then return it. That's called fraud. It's called stealing. That's how that works. >> You kind of have to pay for stuff before you return it. >> Well, I got the mail has to I think um 54 and 56. >> Can I turn off my stuff, please? >> Can I turn off my stuff, please? 54. Yeah, we got both the >> At this point, instead of taking responsibility for her actions, she kept begging to pay for the trouble, but the officer firmly stated it was outright fraud. >> Is there anything I can do? Can >> not pay for all the stuff? >> No. No, that's not how it works. >> I'm not being sarcastic. >> No, I'm not being sarcastic either. You're an adult. You can't steal stuff from the store, two cart loads full of stuff, and then say, "Oh, I'm in handcuffs now. Now I want to return it." >> Okay. Is this your driver's license in here? >> My driver's license is not in there. >> It's not in here? >> No. >> Okay. >> I wouldn't think so. >> You wouldn't think so? >> Okay. >> Well, can I tell him to pick up the car? Cuz I do have a car here. >> Um, >> we need to get a receipt for everything. >> So, hold on. I'll take this one too once he's ready. >> Hold on. >> I'm going to go with you so that way we can get the receipt and uh you'll go to the office. >> What? >> I'll put her we'll put her in the same car. >> No, no, no. They do not go in the car together. >> We can pay for our cash that already. We already done. You're done with that. You stole the bags to begin with. >> No, that's my bag. >> No, you stole these bags to begin with. Your sticky hand got into my stuff. Look, there they are. You even have more in your own personal bag that you just said is yours. >> That is my personal bag. >> And who's in that? I'm in >> Put her in your car and then he can go in his car and then I'll get everything started and go from there. Yep. Just start getting IDs and we'll go from there. Police seized all the stolen goods and worked with the store to tally the losses, a significant amount, while the suspect remained unfased, as if being arrested was nothing new to her. >> No 7893. >> All right, perfect. Uh, I'm going to go outside, check on my guys, and then I'll come in and get you guys uh information so that way you can start doing the >> send me the link and all that, and we'll do all that. >> Yeah, perfect. for trespassing. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's part of the Got it. >> Thank you. >> I have to have someone come here, right? >> Yeah. Or I can get towed. >> No, but then if you have the keys, they won't be able to get it. So, that's why I'm asking. >> Well, I'll I'll call the toe and then we'll get the keys. We'll give the keys to We'll give the keys to the toe. >> They live around the corner. Can they pick it up, please? >> Listen, you realize you're committing a crime, right? You really committing a crime. We can't we can't be we're not going to be assisting you with your with your what you want to do cuz you're committing crimes and now you want to not tow your car feet. >> Me not telling my car. I'm just asking politely if they can help pick it up. >> No. >> Hm. >> Can they? >> No. >> Sometimes they allow it. >> What is this? Is this a pocket that goes into >> Sometimes they allow it. That's why I'm asking you. >> Allowing what? because they won't have a car. >> I don't I don't know what you're asking me. >> Cuz my people think if the car owner can help pick up the car, >> we'll figure that out. >> It's almost laughable that she only worried about her car being towed while showing no concern for the serious theft charges she was about to face. >> Yeah. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me or talk to us? >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us >> or about the the cring? about everything that just happened. Now, >> I'm asking you, can we pay for my troubles instead of going to jail? Because I know, >> look, listen, having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us? >> I'm talking to you. >> Yes or no? I need a yes or no. Okay. All right. So, I don't know exactly what happened. >> Yeah. >> Do I have his ID? >> No. No. Uh, your ID? >> No, I don't have my ID. >> You don't have your ID. None of these three. >> That's my uncle, my cousins. We went out. So, >> I'm like I said, I'm going to figure that out at the end. Your car is the least of your worries right now. Literally, you're least of your worries. You should That's the last question you need to be asking right now. There's a lot of things we got to figure out first cuz obviously you committed a crime. So, >> that's why I'm ask I'm ask I pay for my >> So, I'm going to ask I'm going to ask you once and once only, okay? About what happened and you need to tell me the exact truth. If you don't tell me the exact truth, that's going to be on you. So tell me from from exactly what happened where you stole everything from literally where you were. >> Towels. Towels. >> So >> this forced the officers to stress that what mattered now was the crime she had just committed. Under pressure, the suspect admitted her actions were just out of stupidity with no clear purpose other than planning to return the items for cash. >> All those items in the cart, those are all items that you took and you were going to plan on taking out taking them out of the store without paying for them, right? A shopping cart that I saw in your hands. Correct. >> The shopping cart that you see in my hands. You said what? >> Those two shopping carts that you had when I stopped you over there before I handcuffed you. >> I had one shopping cart and have two shopping carts. You maybe my god brother had one and I had one. >> No, you had two right there. You had two. And you had two shopping carts. >> I had one shopping cart. >> I had one shopping cart. >> Okay. So everything in that shopping cart you admit to to obviously stealing, right? >> I had the shopping cart with the babies. I had the shopping cart with the sheets in >> with the sheets. Okay. So, those sheets you were planning on playing planning to pay for, right? >> I mean, >> yeah, >> cuz you passed all points to sell, right? You passed the store. So, you were obviously going to Are you going to resell it? Were you going to resell it? >> We were trying to do a return. I split at the return line originally. >> Okay. >> That that point has already been passed and it's a felony amount of what you said. Yeah, it's a felony. anything over 700 uh uh $750 in the state of Florida. It's like $782 total. Okay. What's your first name? >> Alexis. >> Lexus or Alexis? >> In the end, the woman was officially charged with felony grand theft with the stolen goods totaling nearly $800. She received 12 months of probation with the risk of facing years in year in prison if she reaffends. [music] This case remind us young people must remember every wrong choice comes with a heavy price and no excuse can erase a crime. >> Stop now. >> On December 8th, Wisconsin police swiftly responded to an urgent call from Walmart where a man lingered suspiciously, stole a knife, and tried hiding inside the store. One small mistake could have led to tragedy. Watch how officers handled it. >> Hi. >> Where is he? He's still running around the store. He keeps running between out there to the back bathrooms, kitchen, knives, and then back to sporting goods. How old is this guy? >> I had to guess probably mid-30s. Me and Ronnie tried stopping him, I want to say last month, and he actually shoved her into a the breakaway doors, knocked him off the track when we went up. >> Staff told officers the suspect had a history of violence. once shoving someone to escape and he had very distinct identifying features. Minutes later, they spotted him. He bolted instantly, igniting a heartpounding chase through Walmart's crowded aisles. >> Yeah. >> Right here. [snorts] >> Hey, come here. >> Stop. >> He's running towards the south exit. STOP NOW. Get his hands. Make sure he doesn't have a knife. Sir, >> are you okay? >> Yeah, I'm fine. >> Get a hiccup on him. >> The suspect was taken down. But wait, this thief wasn't as easy to handle as they first thought. >> No. No. No. Get behind your back now. behind your back. >> I got a taser. [clears throat] >> Yeah, >> I got it. Let me know why. >> Get in the legs. hat now. Clearly, this wasn't an action movie. Yet, this guy acted like he was invincible to the taser. AGAIN. >> Stop resisting. Keep hitting your back. >> His hands out in front here. >> Are you done? >> Stop. >> I'm sorry. You >> okay? Yeah. You okay, sir? >> Okay. You >> just hang around so we can get your name. >> It'll be a few minutes. Don't even think about moving. >> All right. You injured? >> So, we're rolling a squad up. Are you done fighting? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> In the end, after multiple taser deployments and a tense struggle, he was handcuffed and tech into the car. There, officers found surprises in his backpack. Do >> you have anything on you? I knew he took one of the cheap knives and then the knife that was in his hand. He was pocketing other stuff. I'm not sure what it was. It was a lot of small stuff. >> Cheap knife. >> Sharpener. >> Scissor sharpener. I thought there was two knives. >> Well, there was one there. >> That big one? Yeah, >> this is that one, right? >> I'm not sure. The only one I saw was up against the >> I saw one very similar to that. I believe it was that one. Come crying. >> After searching his belongings, the suspect was taken to the hospital for medical clearance where officers used the time to question his intentions. >> Obviously, you're in Walmart. You admitted to the doctor before while I was standing outside that you had been there shoplifting. Do you know how many items you grabbed or >> two? >> Two. What were you going to do with them anyway? >> I just took alcohol and a knife. >> Alcohol and a knife? >> Yeah. >> Okay. But what was the knife for? Okay. Is there is there somebody that's been coming after you or threatening you? >> No, I just grabbed it. >> Okay. So, the thing that I was concerned with honestly is cuz like I know you're homeless and I knew you kind of been through that rigger morale. The thought that I had in my mind is like you were going to resort to even worse crimes like robbing people. Was was that not not the case? You just more more concerned about protection? >> Yeah, I was around. >> It seemed his original plan was just to steal a bottle of liquor, but then he grabbed a knife in case he got caught. Luckily, no one was hurt by his reckless choice. >> Yourself at all with the knife. >> Cross my mind. >> I would like to get you help for if that's the case. Would you be willing to talk to crisis at all? Obviously, it wouldn't affect what would happen tonight, but >> that's a that's a serious concern for us. I'm not saying stealing alcohol is not a big deal because honestly when you steal from the store it jacks prices up for everybody else and times are tough already and you know that but like stealing knife stealing weapon that kind of gets to a whole new level and it really like when I hear that going up to a call it makes me super concerned right off the bat. I prefer to figure out what's going on with you and get you the actual help that you need. So if you're willing to talk to them I'll call them. Like I said, it's not changing anything tonight, but like in the future, maybe you'll have some resources from them that you can actually kind of fix the problems that are going on and put you in a better situation. I'll give him a Officer showed patience, understood his struggle with homelessness, and gave him a chance to change, but this crime still came with a price. In the end, the man was officially charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, carrying a concealed knife, habitual criminality, and felony resisting causing injury. This situation is a reminder. One foolish moment can turn petty theft into tragedy when a weapon is involved. The price is always higher than what was stolen. Next, let's see how a group of entitled teens thought their Sephora shoplifting spree went unnoticed. Next, let's take a look at the sophistication of this shoplifting crew. >> Ceiling back down. Just hold that back. >> Oh, lordy. >> On May 27th, 2023 in Florida, police ambushed a shoplifting crew who stashed goods in their car before sneaking back for more. Watch how their bold scheme collapsed instantly. 10. >> Come on. Go over there. You go over there. You're >> being huge at stealing. >> Your back down. Just hold that. >> Hands on your back. >> Hey, get him. Get him. >> Hey, by your back. >> That is hers. Put that by her. This is >> stage for the other one or no? >> That might be. >> As soon as they approached, police immediately arrested two women and identified the bags as theirs. At the same time, they handcuffed a man, but it seemed they had the wrong guy. >> He has nothing to do with this, right? No. 54 on him. Let him go. >> No. No. >> So, we're still missing one. >> Yeah. >> Okay. The tattoo on the arm guy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Hey, ladies. >> What you doing? >> All right. I'm getting hammer right now. >> You got an ID on you? >> No. >> No. >> Line too. >> Yeah. >> What's your first name? >> Wait, where's their ID? >> They don't have No, they're lined. Oh, lined. Aligned. I thought you said they they were lying. I'm like, what? What? >> Yeah, they're lying. >> Just dripping. >> Each stolen bag was quickly seized. However, one male suspect was still missing, heightening the tension. A preliminary check showed each had taken several pairs of shoes. Yet, they kept evading and refusing to provide identification. >> Identify. >> If I don't positively identify you, right? >> Okay. Just >> that means that I'm going to put you under John Doe. And that's going to make it a lot >> or Jane do >> and then it's going to make it really hard for you to get out of there. >> We were talking. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> There's a male with a white shirt >> and walking the car. >> Within minutes of the search, officers spotted two suspicious men. One trying to lock the car doors to hide the goods, but it was already too late. Yeah, two people got one side and one side trying to get away. >> I got cops. >> Scott here. He just locked the door. He just tried to lock the doors to the car, too. >> Adidas. >> Where do you want to see it? Right here, >> Dennis. Where's your car at? My car is all the way by Old Navy. Can you >> bring mine over? >> Well, I wanted to free you up. >> Hey, we're literally right. >> We don't have enough people. We only have four people. So, I'll bring my car over. >> Uh, I'm going to leave my camera to see if we can get anything. >> Two women were placed in the patrol car while the other stubbornly lied, facing the risk of being booked under a Jane Doe file. >> What is your social? But I don't know why you need my social >> to help me pull you up cuz I'm having a hard time, right? So if I can pull you up and I don't have to pull you in as a Jane Doe, it makes it easier for you to get out. So if that's what you want, that's fine. We can do it that way. But I'm trying to make this a little bit easier on you. He's got his ID. Um, the officers assessed. This was not just a petty theft, but a professional crew that repeatedly broke in, took loads of goods, then came back for more. The evidence was so abundant, it left them astonished. What is it mean when you guys say booster grooves? >> Uh, organized. And then they usually have the bags lined when you go. >> They usually mean the car pulls steps or they just go back and like back and forth. Yep. Dump steel. No, steal. It's amazing. Class A citizens. Okay. >> You don't have a social, right? Do you have a social? No. >> No. >> Okay. >> Shoes. >> All Nike or Y. The looks of it. Oh lordy. The investigation later revealed that the two men had stolen a total of $4,077 worth of Nike and Adidas merchandise. I didn't take anything else. >> All right. Put your hands behind your back. >> On April 10th, 2025, a cosmetic store reported three 18-year-old girls stuffing products into their clothes and rushing out without paying. Officers quickly stopped their vehicle. Here's how it all went down. >> And I was going to buy a concealer and then I was opening to try on my shade, which is on my hand. And then she was like, "Oh, are you going to take?" And I'm like, "No, I'm not going to take it." So then she started assuming that I was like going to steal the stuff from Sephora. So then I went up to one of the workers from there and I gave her the concealer and I was like, "Look, like so you could know I'm not taking anything." And then I just left the store. >> Okay. Cuz she's like saying that you guys took like necklaces and makeup. Oh, we we didn't even get through like the actual call. >> We actually told her and she didn't say anything. >> She didn't say anything. She said she was like, "Sorry about my coworker's actions." And I was like, "No, you just need to make sure that Dana making it like seem like we're trying to steal anything." >> Yeah. >> You know, so that's why I I gave her like the concealer back and she took it back. You couldn't even go and ask her. I gave her the concealer and it was like this sprays sanitizer thing. I just gave it back to her and she just took it back. >> So you never gave you never took anything? >> Oh, no. We went to other like we went to an Ulta, but we bought the stuff there and everything. They see me buy everything. >> One of them tried to argue she had only tested the makeup and returned it, insisting she hadn't stolen anything. But their upset, uncooperative attitude made it impossible for officers to just let it slide. >> Can you stop digging your bag? >> She's looking for her phone. >> Okay. I don't want her digging into her bag. I don't know what >> you can literally open the door if you want. I don't care. >> No, I'm just being honest. It's like if you want to look >> I'm not going to go searching through your car. But I don't >> I need a warrant if you're going to look at my car. But >> I didn't. Okay. First of all, I'm not going to do the attitude. I'm not going to have her sitting here digging her bag when I don't know what's in the car. Got it. >> Well, I'm telling you. Okay. And I'm telling you I'm telling you I don't care what she's looking for. I don't want her digging her bag when I don't know what's in the car. >> So, lose the attitude. Thank you. >> I'm just like feel like I'm being targeted. But if you want >> Why are you being targeted? Because I asked her to stop digging through her bag >> and I told you why she was digging through her bag. >> Okay. And I'm telling you, I don't care cuz I don't know what's in the car. I apologize. >> Did they tell you what's going on? >> I'm like really confused cuz we went to Sephora and I was getting stuffed and I they even give me a little bag and then after like the a girl like I seen that she was like walking around behind me. I'm just going a little bit right there. I got two. Okay. It's a shame. Rather than focusing on their studies and building a future, the young girls chose a foolish act that left a lasting stain. With the evidence undeniable, it was time for police to teach them a harsh lesson from the law of life. >> Right. Can you step outside so I can talk to you? >> Yes. All right. So, other than you putting that in your bra, >> what else did you take? >> All right. I'm going to search you. So, put your hands right here. Just put your >> wallet phone down. Turn around. All right. >> Wait, can I please So you with retail theft um there. >> In the end, all three girls were officially charged with retail theft. It's all my poppy and your pop. It's all mixed. >> It's all mixed with my cigarettes. Don't get back at all. In a minute. In a minute. >> In the end, the female suspect faced a string of serious charges. Resisting arrest, obstructing justice, shoplifting, property damage, drug possession, and battery on an officer. This serves as a warning to the community. Excuses, denials, and fake injuries will never outsmart the law.
