yeah all right and I wasn't yours toal what evidence that you stalking me you just saw Zachariah Anderson a stalker so obsessed with his ex-girlfriend that he would resort to murder although he thinks can get away he is completely unaware that his own daughter has revealed all of his horrifying Secrets he jumps onto the porch and looks through my mom's window with a camera you followed her went to this her house looked through the windows and Olivia had confirm that she was say you I know my daughter and she does that man and it's frustrating for me as a dad on May 17th 2020 Sadie beum lost contact with her boyfriend 40-year-old Rosalio gutterz JR this this was unusual although Sadi had only known Rosalio for a few months he was the last person to drop off the face of the planet 2 days later on May 19th she went to rosalia's apartment in Kenosha Wisconsin to check up on him worried and anxious but when she arrived Satie discovered the most horrific scene of her life um I just went to his house and his screen door wide open and I knocked on the door and I saw something like scattered on the outside of the outside door and then I just you know I kept calling his name and knocking on the windows and knocking on the doors and the screen door is like wide open and I just pulled the um the the um you able to see inside yeah I pulled the blinds back and there's blood all over the floor in the living room and I see him at all anywhere I didn't go any further he hasn't been answering the phone both of his vehicles are here and like I said his phone's been going straight to voicemail since like I don't know maybe 11:00 last night blood stained nearly every surface of the apartment a central rug was missing clear signs of a struggle were evident and Rosalio was nowhere to be found when officers arrived they quickly concluded that the sheer volume of blood left no hope for his survival leaving them with two important questions who killed him and where was Rosalio guz Jr's body the answers to both pointed squarely at STI beam's ex-boyfriend Zachariah Anderson Zach and STI dated for nearly 12 years years and had three children before Zach cheated leading to a breakup in 2019 after the split both moved on to new relationships while co-parenting their children Zach began dating another girl while stie hoped to build a new life with Rosalio for Zach however this breakup wasn't the end sad suspected he was stalking her and tracking her every move this suspicion made Zach the primary suspect in the investigation and soon enough all evidence pointed to him as the killer 4 days before before the murder on May 13th Zach's phone activity revealed searches for directions to ralo's apartment investigators also discovered two burn pits one at Zach's house and another at his farm in these pits they found remnants of bleach bottles Jean buttons and pieces of underwear all belonging to Zach but the most damning piece of evidence would come in the form of surveillance footage at around 8: a.m. on May 18th just one night after rosal's disappearance Zach's black car was seen entering a Walmart parking lot inside the store he purchases two packages of 13-gon garbage bags two boxes of latex gloves and two containers of Clorox bleach wipes these actions shot him to the top of the suspect list the following day on May 19th Zachariah Anderson was called in for an interview as detectives aim to determine whether he was a victim of circumstance or a jealous ex who had hidden his rival's body the following footage has been provided to us by the Kenosha Police Department Wisconsin all right z um currently you are in custody um as you're aware um we're conducting investigation prior to that us talking to you I want to read to you your your waiver constitutional rights all right okay um B states that you Zachariah Anderson have been advised your rights by myself detective Korea the K Police Department sure sure who inform you that you have the right to remain silent and to refuse to answer questions or make the statement and he answers the statement you you make may be using evidence against you you have the right to consult with and have present your attorney before uring any interrogation if you're cannot afford an attorney you have the right to ask for a court appointed attorney before being interrogated you also have the right to stop or answer questions at any time that you wish do you understand the rights that I currently have read to you okay so we're investigating a case of stalking um involving your children's Mother s sure all right so that's what we want to talk to you about okay um can you kind of tell me what's going on with like what's up with your guys' relationship what's been happening going on well so we were together for like 12 years um and about 6 months ago she flipped her script pretty hard and went from being you know primary caretaker of our kids to uh um Barfly you know and so she to my account has picked up about four boyfriend friends she had made comments to that effect to our daughter you know and she's been chased around with whatever guys to my understanding we'll buy her some blow and uh that's how she's been spent in her time they reopened the bars in Wisconsin last you know last week Friday or whatever my kids were at the bar two days in a row you know so um I submitted for custody of the kids on the eth you know retaining attorney and submitted for custody of the kids on the May yeah yeah or yeah and she countered that filed on the 13th or whatever ever and she's had a list of accusations about Mis stalking her and otherwise and I have gone to check some information on her and I I have looked to verify some things like whether or not she's going to the bar and that kind of thing um but really just for the purpose of the custody metal because you know cuz it's just going to be a m um what I can tell you is to my understanding uh she like around Christmas time so we have twin boys that were born on Christmas Eve you know and uh it supposed to be my day with the kids my Christmas with the kids and the previous one yeah yeah and uh I went over there and our daughter wasn't there and I said all right you know like we went and picked up Christmas tree and we went to have um uh set up the Christmas tree at her house cuz she has primary placement of the kids you know and so put it all together and that kind of stuff I came over in the morning all the kids were supposed to be there daughter's not there and I'm like maybe about 11:30 you know like asking her are you going to go get Olivia you know is it supposed to be my Christmas like the boys want to open their pres it's you know almost the afternoon whatever and uh she all [ __ ] with me you shut your mouth and stuff and I'm like what the you know like supposed to have the day with the kids this is our Christmas right like you get the kidsor for Christmas day itself but you know what are you [ __ ] on the day for or whatever and uh she tries to hit me with the broom in the face just spins around tries to CL me with the broom in the face and turns to this big old exchange between her and I shoves me into the door like four times and I screaming runs outside calls the cows C show up they arrest me and I'm like you arrested me for she put her hands on me I mean I made fun of her whatever but talk some [ __ ] holler back and forth but I didn't do anything to her so they haul me away you know like all right uh what agency was that German Town okay so go see the da tell the da hey this is what happened you know whatever it's not the first or second occence monster was short happens again she does the same thing cop Cops show up and tell the cops I put my hands on her they arrested me again and haul me away and I'm just like this ridiculous you know just cuz she said whatever she said she said I'd push her at one point at the front door I'm like no she turned around ran into her own Christmas decorations and tripped her damn self and Spilled her I didn't touch her I didn't step for I didn't do [ __ ] I just stood there and watched her make a mess of herself and that's been kind of the thing is like no matter what happens no matter what goes on she's she accuses me even today as an example or last night if you guys get my cell phone I'll show you how ludicrous it is she accused me of hacking her phone her text messages and her emails and I'm like what the are you talking about and she's like uh uh you know things that people shouldn't that's because Zach was doing things that normal people shouldn't after his Amazon purchase history was subpoena investigators found that he purchased two GPS devices voice activated spy cameras this meant that Zach could thoroughly record where Sadie went what she was doing and who she was doing it with additionally days before the murder STI discovered a cell phone hidden under a child booster seat a phone that belonged to Zach clearly incidents like this are hard to chalk down to anything besides stalking but Zach's justification for these is nothing short of strange so what accusations what else has she been throwing out besides hacking her PO well that was the latest one um but uh I guess over last 3 months or so uh most of the accusations came like in the last month really um but uh she said that I was sitting on F following her um uh the I went to scoop the boys out of the I was cleaning my van I had my cell phone in my pocket and I was listening to music and she pulled in with the kids and I went to pull my kid pull the boys out of the car seats or whatever and give them a hug and there were the bo sweatshirts were down in the middle of the seats or whatever and I leaned in there and either Magnum when I picked him up my my son you know when I picked him up he likes to turn the light on by shaking the phone took it out of my pocket or when I lean forward I dropped the phone in her car or something like that but I picked up the sweatshirts and I took the sweatshirts and I couldn't find the phone and my daughter will tell you I searched for the phone for like 3 days I had to call the Carrier to figure out what happened to the phone and she said well you were stalking me you were tracking me you put the phone in there on purpose and I said no I didn't no the I didn't it fell out of my pocket it fell like the shirt that I was wearing the pocket's not that deep it fell out before it must have fallen out when I leaned in to get the kid sweatshirt or may took it out I don't know I didn't see cuz I was trying to reach the sweatshirts in the first place so no the I didn't I call the Carrier don't make the accusation um but inevitably the way she sees it is is I'm stalking her and I said you know honestly I know you're going out with other dudes you brag about it to Olivia you didn't brag about one guy you brag about four you no like go what the um truth is I cheated on her some long time ago she's never it poisoned the relationship you know she never got over it and uh you know she moved on her own way she started hanging out with a friend of hers from high school and I think uh you know maybe got put drug into a bad situation all pun intended I guess drug into a bad situation and you know that's her choice I can't stop her from it I mean I love her she mother my kids but you know it's uh I don't know I know man to stop the train right there guess [Music] um all right even if Zach is to be believed it still wouldn't explain the events of April 24th 2020 on this day Zach had custody of the three kids and was close to his daughter 12-year-old Olivia in particular as an activity he and Olivia planned a visit to s's house as she was preparing for Olivia's birthday party in the morning but this visit was far from normal Zack took Olivia and snuck her up to one of the windows and in his words wanted to show her the man her mother was now with at this point Olivia wasn't aware that STI was seeing someone else and Zach wanted to take full advantage of this to drive a wedge between the two after this both of them rang sti's doorbell and ran away as for stie she remembers a black car speeding off that night oddly familiar to the vehicle that Zach used to drive however this incident was far from over the next day Zach and S met to celebrate Olivia's birthday where sad was confronted for being with another man now you had talked about what the plan was supposed to be for your daughter's birthday what ended up actually happening uh on the 25th after the doorbell incident early that morning so as everybody was leaving Zachariah wanted to stay and talk to me um and I said well can we talk with your family here and he's like no they can go and I said no I want to talk with your family here um and so he confronted me kind of at the door and said you know I had this premonition that you were with somebody else last night and um you were wearing you know you were wearing this this pink tank top and you were you were listening to this song and I know what song You're were listening to and um come on tell me and just harassing me and badgering me about you know this premonition that he had and oh I have these when you know when I break up with people and you know that and um you know I'm like I don't know what you're you must have been here last night the only way you would have known any of this um and he's like no and then he we got into some kind of a back and forth about it um and he started walking away and as he was walking away he was like yeah yeah I his name is and he just rattled off his name his full name um and yelled it at me and said and you know he's he's he's Mexican and and just read love things he should not have known um and so that I I said you know you had to have been here and he didn't tell me until he finally kind of came close to me and said yeah I was I needed to know not to mention the fact that throughout this entire party Sadie felt that Olivia was colder than usual likely because of what Zach told her the night before now he will tiptoe around this entire incident explaining his actions in the most suspicious way possible well so we spoke with her she she's making a few other accusations against you okay okay um there was a night last month um early morning hours that he showed up at her house I went and bought a new couch she told me I could come back and pick up the stuff out of the GR garage just to let her know and I let her know and then she got all shitty we had a good conversation and yeah there was some tears or whatever but that's it not because what time is this at what what about what late late as [ __ ] midnight 1:00 [ __ ] maybe even later when I got done move in the couch in I had to go all the way out to walk to pick it up so who had the kids that she had the kids down there yeah but that was up the couch at 1: in the morning no no no I picked up the couch at like 10: at night or something like that eBay or Craigslist or something or from a place yeah Craigslist and then I I took it back to my place and then I was waiting on my cousin to come help me load it into my house cuz I can't carry a couch by myself the guy who sold it to me whatever and I told her well maybe I'll just swing back by tonight and pick it up and bring our daughter her skateboard or whatever and I did and I just you know knocked on the door and I said hey you know this is what's going on and it wasn't uh I don't I mean it was pretty straightforward I told her it was going to be late as [ __ ] and she was like well that's fine I said maybe tomorrow I don't know if I'm I'll do it you know not you know whatever anybody in our house that night not that I know nobody I mean the kids I would assume I guess was there another night that you went over there when you had the kids yeah okay tell me about that night uh there was another vehicle in the driveway she was um claiming that she wasn't seeing anybody and she just needed some space for us to get back together our daughter had gone through her cell phone and got a bunch of messages um tell me about those we go step by step here uh all the messages my daughter read through I don't know exactly because our daughter likes to fabricate some information but in short mom seeing somebody else telling telling him that she loves him and all that kind of stuff I was saying you know you're uh um uh cut cutting me along fishing me along you know trying to tell me like we have a future like like things are not things are a possibility but you just want some space you're upset after our last argument or whatever and it's not true you know and so uh she kept insisting oh that's you know that's not the case or whatever I love you all this kind of [ __ ] and so I did go over there you know and found out that she was seeing somebody else and okay you know what were the kids oh with me sure yeah yeah I loed them in the car took them with me okay how did you how did you know there was someone else there um premonition had a weird feeling when I talk to her you know is this something you've done before no I just that was the impression that I got that's something else what gave you that just the way she talk the way she behaved you know you know real eager to get home you know like something else was going on if I remember right it was like she didn't have time to was that a different night how old are your kid man the twin boys were four and your other daughter 12 now what time is this I don't know 9 at night 10 at night I don't remember the exact time so you loaded your four-year-olds up of premonition yeah yeah yeah I knew something funny was going on and I guess why would it matter for me because me a definitive answer whether she's lying or not you know I mean this was I don't long we going on did she V you over she has yeah did she that night no have you ever done this before went over out of premonitions no and what if I told you that um I have reason to believe that the four girl- weren't with you that night I don't know why would you believe they weren't with me because we spoke with Olivia and Olivia dropped the bomb on her father as she provided a detailed account of what happened on the night of April 24th I remember waking up around maybe 12:53 12:57 somewhere in there in the a.m. early morning hours correct okay and so when you went at that time uh what do you remember happening next um we arrived at the house and we pulled into the parking our driveway of course and he said to me no we're not going to park here and he backed out and then he went into the bar parking lot and there's like there's ones that are in the back and they're closest to the house and he gets out when you say he who do you mean Zachariah Anderson then what happened um he jumps onto the porch and looks through my mom's window with a camera let me stop you when you said jumps onto the porch of of what location my mom's and when you said he who did you mean jumped on the porch Zachariah Anderson then what happened and then he is looking through the window recording with not a camera like a phone recorder but a handheld recorder okay then what happened next comes down eventually after a little bit puts another phone into the air conditioner okay stop let me stop you the air condition conditioner is located where um on the side of the house that I was on hey why would so so the air conditioner is connected to what room of the house if you know um my mom's room okay and when you say puts it in the air conditioner tell me more what what you mean by that there was like an opening so coming out from looking on the outside of the house there was the air conditioner coming out and there was like a space around it and it had had insulation in there like cushioning insulation and it was the phone was put back far enough to see if there could be a recording of something and could you see that from where you were located um yes okay and where were you located when that was happening when your dad was placing a a a phone recording device in the in the uh ventilation there um I was sitting in the car then what happened next I and then he came to the car and asked me if I would like to see and I said yeah okay who's he my dad okay I I'm going to refer to that individual as the defendant just for purposes of our discussion so okay so when the defendant came and and back to the car did you what what happened next I said sure and I went up with him and we went to the window we walked around the balcony this time and we went up the stairs and we went to the window and he looks at me and he says before you do anything go like this with your shirt to make sure that you don't get the breath marks on the window so I'd just like to have the record reflect that the witness your honor pulled their shirt up blocking their uh ability to sort of breathe on objects covering their nose and mouth her uh yes okay so um then um after you were advised of that by the defendant what's the next thing that that happened um I saw the I don't know how to refer to him whatever you're comfortable um Mr guier I guess okay um and I saw him sitting on the couch with my mother coming out of the bathroom um and I don't think that was going to be this hard um so Not only was Zach manipulating his own daughter but also using the chance to record Sadie and place devices in her home's ventilation well like I said I have no reason to doubt what Olivia was telling me okay um I mean I do got a long track record as a ger toown police but I mean she she described some pretty grave detail on what happened that night at the house as far as looking through the windows and and all that and she she's claiming she got drove along um yeah sure why I mean why would she tell me that if at right after saying that you're your dad and all that I don't know what she perceived she could get in trouble for or you know what I don't did you look through the windows of the house and see someone in there yeah yeah the windows were open I could look through windows and see there's no blinds covering the back door did you take pictures no did you take video no take audio recording no nothing no say he had the same [ __ ] accusations no I didn't what did you hear nothing I heard I mean saw them laughing saw him you know doing their thing or whatever the hell and okay they had the music on and they're doing whatever they do okay at any point did you have Olivia looked in the window yeah Olivia was with me initially when you first got there was Olivia with you I don't remember initially what I know is at some point I was like oh no go back to the car did you place any cell phones anywhere nope I mean this is something she told me and man this is something that a 13-year-old girl is not going to come up with on her own to get her dad in trouble I didn't place any cell phones anywhere what happened originally was s was slapping Olivia in the face to discipline her when she was yelling at her was this Olivia like a and a half ago and Olivia recorded it on her school laptop she came to me and she told me and I said babe mom no wouldn't she slapping you she said yeah Dad she slaps me she go I said no that's not like her at all you know like it's really not her character but Olivia recorded it I'll give you the recording so she hits her Olivia starts the recording mom's screaming at her Olivia's going okay okay um and she swings at her again and she hits the laptop itself um and she and Olivia brings that to me I don't know how many weeks ago and I'd have to look at the video you know or whatever and at that point I told her nobody's going to believe me nobody's going to believe me mom tells the cops a story they arrest me mom tells the cops a story they arrest me nobody's going to believe me if I say hey Mom's the violent one she's the one losing her [ __ ] and she's the one hitting the kids but it doesn't stop there Olivia is saying like um oh she stands The Voice up against the wall and hits him arms and legs so um so it looks like they're fighting and uh at night when it's cold out she takes the blanket away because they're playing you know using their blankets and playing and and uh and stuff like that and then she calls me and she's got the boys in the background owie OE OE getting hit by Mom and I'm like who's going on you know the boys misbehave they're four three four I stand them up against the wall give them a few minutes to think about it you know I mean flick them in the head or something like that but nothing I'm not hitting them I'm not taking the blankets away at night if I put my kids to bed what does this whole thing have to do with putting cell phone somewhere that night so what happens is I give Olivia one of my old phones so she can record what's going on so I have some evidence and then we have so yes there are cell phones but I didn't put a cell phone anywhere for that purpose I gave it to my daughter to record when she's being abused or when the boys are being abused okay but again I didn't put a cell phone anywhere that that's my question and you're dancing around no I'm just saying it's a yes or no it's does got nothing cell phone in my daughter's hands if that's what you're getting at but I did not put a cell phone in her car where mhm at my house I'm talking about that name in at the house where you L you peek through the window no no no no no no I didn't give her a phone or have her record anything or anything along those lines man no cell phone was put anywhere whether it recorded something or not no dude no I told you no her paranoia her fear whatever that's on her whatever she told you or thought she said the same [ __ ] to me and I told her repeatedly I did not record you well and again man I have a young girl who loves her dad yeah telling me things crying that are 100% true believe me they're 100% true when I'm talking to her yeah and she told school she had leukemia for two weeks I mean most of it's true but then some things aren't I did have a cell phone stuff this is craziness for her to make this up and come up with it like that I got a daughter the same age man I hear you they lie and you know what when they lie I know they're lying right right so I'm saying I did have a cell phone cuz you can turn the light on and see where the [ __ ] you're walking but I didn't record anybody so you had your cell phone out yeah I had a cell phone with me I don't know that I had it out but I did have a cell phone with me right well I don't know if I I don't remember how dark it was or if I pulled the cell phone out that night so I would assume so but well what's the cell phone number on that phone I don't know at all man is it your phone is it your phone so it's not my regular phone now oh you got another one yeah yeah but you don't know the number of that one not where is it probably in my position you both of them on here yeah so there's not going to be any pictures or anything like that in there look you guys come on I keep telling you you're killing here you know is there a passcode or anything on them no Zach just tried to put on his best poker face after this interrogation detectives went through Zach's phone and discovered a secretly recorded conversation between him and stie I just told you it hurts I'm jealous I've confirmed that you are having you've taken an interest in other guys and I've I've painfully enough already done y when I told you I would yep you're done great and the guy that stole the mother of my child feel anything all right and I wasn't yours to wasn't yours to steal you're not listening to me evidence that you were stalking me I'm not stalking you you did here in the middle of the [ __ ] night you're lying to me even if it weren't for this conversation there was plenty of evidence that Zach was stalking sad on his home computer when he was initially arrested officers found a folder labeled rosalo G J this contained pictures of Rosalio a map of his apartment complex and a list of places where he worked what was this when this all go down when when did he you find out about him weeks ago [ __ ] months ago maybe weeks ago who told you about Olivia going through the text messages mom's talking to this guy M Leo John uh junior you know all the guys mom see those were confirmed names that I mean are you just some names out there no those are the names that Olivia read out of mom's phone and told me now which ones are true or not you think she's all yeah there's a John who else what else is junior junior yeah did you fure out who Le was John just Junior yeah I mean Junior was the one that she opened up about yeah what' she say about him uh he's a contractor you know yeah s told Olivia you know say talk weekend not to you oh she opened up to you you know where this guy lives or stays other than being here in kosa down in kosa right you ever been down this way yeah I've been to Kos for what I don't know all sorts of stuff I mean I've lived in southeast Wisconsin most of my life you know oh okay yeah um what about in the past year been on here the past year past three months past month I down this way um generally hanging out with my little brother we travel around to different friends places and play board games and [ __ ] like that I don't know if we've ever made it all the way down to kosha but so no reason why like your vehicle would have been picked up on a license plate reader or anything like that down this way you're not that I know not that you know of or yes or no I don't know I mean other people borrow my cars too man I mean [ __ ] but uh I didn't know that I would never let someone F my car to go from mecan to hey you mind if I take your car on to Kos on where the jobs are man you know working on houses and [ __ ] so is that what you guys do is that what you do are you a general contractor as well they help my little brother to use so oh okay yeah um what what type of work like House repair Roofing like or what yeah yeah renovation stuff everything yeah general contractor right so have you guys had any jobs down here in the past couple months yeah I mean my little brother works everywhere so I don't I haven't personally uh worked down here so okay does your brother live with you no he just come and get your car sometimes well if he if his van is in the shop or whatever use a van you know that kind of thing all right what what kind of van you have uh it's an old Caravan you know approximate year 2000s color black not sure it's like n blue or black I don't know I don't drive it too much I drive the a oh okay um you know the play on it all right what's your so you might have I call your brother and say hey have you had any jobs down here in the past couple months you be will to give your brother's information right now yeah no okay at this hour no no I'm not going to call him at this hour but I need his information to call I call him tomorrow or something no no I'll check with my brother see all right but as far as you know you've never been down here in the past couple months but it's possible your brother used your car and may have been down this way I mean I don't yeah it depends when been jobs and that yeah that's what I'm what I know is that my cousin was saying um or his buddy was saying that uh he's driving like an hour for work or something like that and so I was an hour down this way your cousin my cousin was talking about my brother bitching that it was an hour way right so when was the last time you used it my van M oh usually when I get the kids I use the van you know so throw their cars get big enough for them one last your brother uses a car I he's what friend to take every once in the car no at the house yeah sometimes in the car oh so he has access to him from your house and do what he wants so do his guys if they want like if they need a van to move something or whatever for work sure they can grab the van I got you know how many guys has you got employed with them one one fulltime anyway you know he ask for help from my guys who's the other guy my cousin what's his name Al what's your brother's name Saul what is it Saul same last name what's Alex's last name oh he's married in his mom's my dad's sister so I don't know those are the two regular well we just help s out when he needs the extra hands you know so got basically those are the two people that may have had your car yeah I would expect so if anybody used it the rest of the people are just randoms no I the rest of the people no the people regular employee yeah so he would just allow anyone to use this it's open for that he uses my shop too you know stores tools there and that kind of [ __ ] it's open for them for whatever purpos in tool sh yeah it's not in good shape but yeah they throw a bunch of material in it really the rest of the it's like a wing off the barn and rest of the barn is leing um have you ever followed her down here no never followed her down um when you dropped your phone you said you dropped the phone or somehow the phone end up in her car or something she accused you of using it a track okay using as a Tracker yeah um were you able to track your phone I mean were you able to go online or your cloud or I don't was it an iPhone is it a Samsung I don't even know what no it's a cricet uh but no I couldn't I had to uh call the Carrier to figure out where the cell phone was last and so when I called the carrier they said it was in north kosha on uh 58 or something like that and I was like okay well Kenosha that's where s's boyfriend lives so when I I called s and she denied it um and I'm like well it would be awfully coincidental that the day I lose my cell phone the carrier can verify that it went down to kosha so it's got to be in your vehicle so then she let me come over and look through her vehicle and I'm like I mean come on if it goes down to kosha it's got to be here somewhere in short she stole it and she wouldn't give it back to me unless I said that I was tracking her and then I said fine I was tracking you whatever can I have the phone back she's like finally some true she gives me the phone back and I'm like I wasn't tracking you thank you for the phone back then she go all shitty with me oh now you change your story because you get the phone back you all nice in the first place and I'm like yeah because I wanted cell phone back not because I was trying to track you because if I was trying to track you I put theing app on there like the carrier told me to do because they otherwise you got to call in for it you know and I'm like you can call the Carrier yourself and you can see and when she gave me the cell phone back I unlocked it for her so she could see it and make sure that there were no recordings and that there was no tracking [ __ ] on there as far as our daughter goes our daughter looks to protect her her mom and me like I said if she's talk listen she's talking [ __ ] about you the whole time I get it not but she wasn't she she talked you up she started out talking you up and and a few things she broke it out didn't make you look good and and these aren't things that are like yeah I'm just going to throw this out there and the detected I mean this is this is [ __ ] that a 13-year-old girl isn't going to make up off the top of her head 12 and she does make up some [ __ ] off the top of her head man I don't know I don't think so I appreciate your skepticism because honestly I felt that way too about this [ __ ] online sexual and all that stuff I really wanted to take her at face value cuz she tell half that's a little that's different dude we're talking about sexual putting naked photo on you know what any daughter I would expect to lie about that I get it no she lies for her mom's sake she lies for my sake trying to play some game too it's not I understand you talk to her but so so she might play games back and forth with you guys that's what a normal kid does man that's what they're going to do to to gain one up on parents get it but when you're sitting in a room with a police officer mom wasn't in here man something she's going to get confused about man and and well I don't think it's something I'm going to get confused about so I hear what you're saying but something's not up you are to make yourself you it's been a circus trying to sort what's true and what's not out of my daughter's mouth the last couple weeks and for something like that it I think it really comes down to what she perceives is Right culpable or whatever I don't think I I know I like to have faith in what my daughter said but you know this whole thing like I wanted to believe her about that sex it was like her friend that was snitching her around I'm like no not my little girl right but there were other things even like once she was busted out turning all that stuff over to the cops and being like here's the evidence she withhold the evidence too and we catch her with more what the you doing man you know and on and on and so no because she there's like an angle to it there's a reason to it and if she thinks the voice could get in trouble or you know I don't know what's running through her head she might do say something to a feet but I don't know although Zach is trying to discredit Olivia it is highly unlikely that a 12-year-old child could fabricate a story convincing enough to fool seasoned detectives what's far more plausible however is that Zack us used Olivia as a pawn to satisfy his morbid curiosity and did not care much beyond that after all he exposed her to his personal drug collection and marijuana farm at your father's residence what if anything do you know about um drugs being produced there made there somehow um quite a bit okay so uh what drug drugs do you remember uh being uh produced there in some fashion um marijuana okay uh any others um not that was grown okay um and um as to marijuana um what what do you know about what was happening at that residence meaning your dad's residence the defendant um he was growing it where in the house was it being grown um in between the kitchen and living room okay on the on the top level or on a bottom level if you know no main main floor okay and what do you briefly what do you remember about the process that you saw how was it being done [Music] um there were a lot of plants there and do you do do you believe you know how many I do how many 72 okay and what do you remember about how they were being grown um that my dad had a water system and they were just in rows and there was a place to dry them in the back and it wasn't it wasn't anything like a little small op operation besides the marijuana Olivia was also shown jars of mushrooms in Zach's fridge now in the face of having to confront his own negligence Zach will start to show his frustration I'm hearing what you guys are trying to S me but I just don't I I wasn't there to see it you know I'm not trying to sell you anything I'm just telling you how it is I'm I'm not trying to sell you something here well you're trying to sell me the notion that my daughter was honest about whatever I think she was cuz she started out with the tricking your side she's on your side this whole time stie says that she says that and you know that she was she was picking you man you guys are tight you guys are very tight are you not are you not tight with your daughter I love my daughter very much and she loves me but she straight face lie to be repeated obvious and that's obvious by talking to her so how did she lie about the boys I don't know I don't think she was lying to me I mean we can go around this you know we can go around and block all you want but you know at the end of the day I'm pretty suspicious what my daughter says if you're not that's up to you you know so um what other questions do you have for me though guys I'm tired what do you want from me just the truth about everything and right I mean that that's kind of what we want we want to find out we kind of went over the stories and you kind of gave us your reasoning behind the stories whether they were true or false or whatever I mean our main thing is is to try and find that happy medium in all this yeah yeah and so s you know after I was arrested on Christmas or whatever s put down for a restraining order and [ __ ] and so we go to court and she writes a bunch of stories like she's been trying to keep a catalog over the last 12 years about what a piece of [ __ ] I am um well no because we get in front of the judge and she tells the judge like one of the stories in there I'm going through the stores and I'm like holy [ __ ] right like just lie after lie exaggeration after exaggeration but she tells the judge she tries to Cony to the court that like um there was an instance where I insisted that we have sex we were fooling around I insisted we have sex and then we didn't because she didn't want to and then I threatened to go somebody else but the reality of that story was essentially this we were fooling around she didn't want to she got upset embarrassed or whatever and she said if you want somebody that can get the drop of a dime you're going to need to go find somebody else and I was like what the just came out of your mouth and that's just an example of the twist she takes things and the exaggeration she makes of things so you know as far as her stories or what's going on I'm not hacking her cell phone I'm not hacking her email I'm not hacking her [ __ ] I'm not stalking her there's some things that I checked I would love to catch her you know getting high with her boyfriend just so I could say to the court I deserve custody of my kids because this is how she spends three days a week my kids shouldn't be taken to the bar is that what you've been trying to do that's all I've been looking for man is just to validate that once I found out that she was ping on with somebody else because of what we saw through those Through the Windows when I did go to her place which I did do it would be nice to verify it and the only reason that I even came up to that was talking to a counselor who said it sounds to me like she's moved into hard narcotics it sounds to me that the way that she's behaving CU I got I got a woman who's been a good mom and a caring mom for most of Olivia's life so far and then suddenly in the last 6 months it's like a wicked shift to everything I say or do is somehow I'm the big bad guy and then our daughter's in the middle of this like a pawn and it's just a bloody mess you know I mean I just don't even know what to make of it when you know she's got stories and she's got spins on all sorts of [ __ ] that because I work at AT&T I can hack your cell phone I'm like that's ludicrous like what you talking about right um and that's just kind of and there were other things in there and when I told the judge he's like like it's just the reality you think I would you think that woman would have stayed with me if I basically like forced her to have sex with me that's not the way it went judge we stayed together for 12 years it was good great at times it was bad at times but you know in the end marriage well I mean I cheated on her you know poison the relationship so you know no going back I mean even if people start a rumor um it doesn't matter you know some girl said to me at a party um that I could do something sexually to her or whatever oh man her friend overheard it or whatever took it back to Sadie and she just kept on with this [ __ ] and I'm like I'm not that was my friend's day like this ridiculous you know like all these accusations it's not the case but we'll see we'll see how it goes tonight you went with Olivia to her house Through the Windows let's get back to that sure do you take anything no did you go into any vehicles in that no no I got those accusations too no no you went you went his truck and you took some [ __ ] and all the I didn't and then he wanted to kill me about it or what he was going to beat me up or whatever I said take your [ __ ] I didn't take your [ __ ] spare me the accusations there's nothing in your house that's his no nothing there's nothing in my house that's his man nothing that Olivia saw in your house nothing in my house that's his why would why would she say to you you took his registration I don't know what the he did with his registration or what they what the stories are or oh Zach must have done it Zach does everything I have no [ __ ] idea man there is a very specific reason why detectives ask Zack if he stole anything on the night of April 24th when rosalo woke up the next morning he found his center console to be a mess and why exactly that is is something Olivia can answer for us he went into Mr guire's car and took his registration and took a picture of his license plate okay and and I'm sorry you saw that from your from where you were in the car yes I personally saw that then what happened and I saw him run ring the doorbell and then run back to the car and drive away whose doorbell did he ring um my mother's but he also had grabbed the phone while he was be somewhere in the time period from when he rang the doorbell the phone was grabbed and which phone are you referring to now I'm the one that was put placed in the air conditioner okay so after the defendant goes to Mr gutierrez's truck takes a picture and takes an item out of the vehicle or takes registration grabs back the phone and he rings the doorbell what does the defendant do next after he does those three things comes back to the car with the phone this is why the line of questioning regarding the registration is important and detectives need to dig deep to figure out whether he still has it anyway Olivia would have seen the paper at your house no his information I wrote it down you know when I looked him up but outside of that no and Olivia is the one that got that information from Genie of his address and everything his name yeah yeah she's friends with him as Junior on as whatever the is it is on Facebook and that's how I you know figured it out but it actually well Olivia has a Facebook no uh no oh Genie does right okay I thought you talking about and so yeah s was talking to Grandma about it and then Grandma shared that information with Olivia and then Olivia came back and gave me his whole name you know and the address no I just looked his information on C do you do you ask Olivia like hey what do you know what's this guy's name you ask her came back she yeah Genie told me that he's a contractor you know and whatever I was like all right that's fine you know that's fine dad does something similar to right now I work parttime at NC and help out sa so what's his address I don't remember it off hand you know where it is in kog you ever been by his place drove down by his place dudes really they keep asking me I keep telling you what else you got what is there's cameras everywhere dude so everywhere great everybody's got ring doorbells now everybody's got cameras that are that are popping on these streets right you know that we know that to save us a bunch of time just tell us the truth cuz when we go pull Hammers and and your vehicle comes up driving past somewhere or in the area right right then that then that doesn't look good for you right yeah right however it's going to look I just want to look out for the well-being of my kids I don't know what you're getting at um stalking I don't don't really know what the laws of the rules are there I've taken an interest and I've gone and I've looked at some things just to get a bit of Truth for myself I'm seeing somebody else she's got the right to see somebody else I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it ACC to be stealing you were making a big de you were you were checking things out you know I mean Bas what you're telling me today you were checking things out you were watching out look there were a couple occasions when I went to verify it but making it this thing like I'm stalking her I'm tracking her I her cell phone or whatever take a goddamn mic I didn't okay I mean I hear what you're saying but it's [ __ ] it's [ __ ] well in the statute book man a couple times is stalking I don't know what it is but once I verified some information you once you know then you can know okay I mean if she didn't play games about it then I would have known right away there wouldn't have been anything to go check but I didn't track her on the cell phone I dropped the cell phone and this accusation that I even dropped it in the truck was really her stipulation cuz I don't even think I [ __ ] dropped it in the truck my only thought was is that if I did if I did it was when I leaned in to get the hooded sweatshirts the boys sweatshirts out of the middle console I don't even know if that's the case I don't again that's her version of [ __ ] and I don't know because again she didn't her account was she took that [ __ ] down to kosha before she shut it off well if you thought I was tracking you why would you take it to kosha anyway account for us she had a different account well I don't know her just that's she found the phone after a text message you sent her about being in kosha and she's like oh [ __ ] no she was going to kosha because she was all DED up and happy and excited and she always calls me Zachariah when she's excited but because of the way she behaved and she some of the water from the plant that she was taking over to her brother's house on her and she was about it I'm like well all dressed up for going out on a Friday night you're going down to kosha not because I had a Tracker to figure it out and then why would I wait 3 days before calling the carrier to verify and if you ask Olivia I spent weekend looking for the damn phone so still I know I hear Sadi spin you guys are soaked in it that's great but please unfortunately see spin is matching up with Olivia Spin and and talk to him separately and things are matching up with what they have to say yeah yeah now I don't know if they sat and planned this out for 3 Days about whether they're going to come talk to you about talk about you about so but man it's damn near impossible because you know what we're going to trip them up and they didn't trip up [ __ ] so this this weekend [ __ ] man yeah [ __ ] because this weekend my daughter she comes to me and she says hey Dad do you know how to hack a phone and I go no she's like well you worked at the phone company yeah I worked at the phone company but you don't know how to hack a phone no babe I have no idea how to hack a phone or whatever no no [ __ ] today La last night or this morning or whatever Sayes [ __ ] you hacked all my stuff last night cuz I called her and I said what are you telling our daughter you're putting some ideas in our daughter's head about me hacking your [ __ ] just because I used to work for the phone company so whatever's getting conveyed there I don't know but there's all sorts of these [ __ ] stories is going on and no like I said you might catch a half truth but I mean what's the real truth we don't know we trying to figure out brought your daughter L man you brought your daughter out in the middle of the night brought her up to a window to look at her mother with another dude I didn't know it was another dude come on you just said it some other dude's cars in the yard yeah cuz I knew after the fact not because I knew in the first place the reason you went there is cuz there's another dude no the reason I went there is because something was going on my to be honest premonition that there wasn't that she was with some other guy no that's what you said you just said that about 10 minutes ago I had I had a premonition that something was up that night that she was with another guy honestly expected it was going to be her friend from high school over there getting up doing drugs but no it was another guy and no I wasn't sure I just knew something was up keep in mind that at the time of this interview detectives were not able to find ralo's body but they were able to find some clues in Zach's car which was filled with the pungent stench of bleach the back seats had been completely removed and sections of the floor carpet were cut out moreover there was a small spot of blood in the back of the van which when tested matched for ralo's DNA however many believed that this was not conclusive enough Zach worked as a contractor and moved large objects like furniture around which meant it wasn't unusual for him to make some more space in his car by taking out seats as for the DNA some argue that the results were inconclusive as it was a partial DNA match and the prosecution never shared the actual percentage match in court but in the face of everything else things do not look good for Zach he just happened to have a phone in s's car a history of buying trackers Char pits cleaning supplies an abundance of witness testimonies and no solid Alibi all too close to the murder this makes it hard to believe his story but it will not stop him from putting up the best fight he can why would you marry a daughter to look through the window dude cuz I couldn't leave them home alone she could have sat in the car she just wanted to go look too she stayed in the car initially oh to be honest man I nor her would have ever expected mom to be in that position with some dude okay because I wouldn't expect it well you didn't expect it you would have went over there no that's not true I mean you want me to assume that the worst for her but no she's actually been a good mom for the most part it's been a good relationship for the most part and she's not been promiscuous she's been very loyal to see another car in the driveway and if she started doing cod with her friends is a little sickening but to know who the over in the first place from out of town just to verify who the was or if I or Olivia knew you might think it's unreasonable but I'm not in that circle of friends to know whose Colorado plates those are right I when I pulled in that's what my headlights were looking at Colorado PL what the is that somebody's in from out of town I didn't expect she was somebody else and honestly she said she didn't I don't know that I believe her but you know ultimately it doesn't matter you know it it really doesn't matter at this point because it's back and forth [ __ ] do you still care don't you still care whatever we should see other people it's there's not a sentence that can be said in the relationship that isn't some everything's my fault it's whatever well I think it goes both ways I mean and Olivia is right in the middle unfortunately mom's feeding her this information dad's feeding her this information she's in the middle like you said that she's used as that Bond she's not in the Olivia goes and she gathers information man she sits outside the open doors and windows she go up to the closed door and listen and [ __ ] like she pulls information in you know and that's where I even got tipped off about [ __ ] or whatever and suspicious now going and verifying the information whatever rules I broke to verify the information isn't because it came from nowhere I believe that there's some truth to what my daughter was reading you know no I'm not telling some other dude that she loves him we been we get in big fights from time to time or whatever we need a month away we need a month and a half away you know like there's just moments you know you guys ever married no oh okay you know no but so there was no like legal separation or things like that it was just kind of a soft breakup you need if she needed space you need space but you guys still [ __ ] after she had me arrested on Christmas Eve we went to court like 2 weeks later you know and uh the judge asked her pointedly you know are you guys still together and she had to say no so no there wasn't like a breakup it was like retroactively two weeks ago we were not together at the time that we got an argument separate so no it's always been kind of a blur or in the middle you know it's always been open to other relationships and space when we needed it hasn't been a thing where [Music] um it hasn't been thing where there it's consistent I guess you know I mean like I told you when I worked for AT&T I worked for my last year was out on the coast of California I wasn't here I travel back and here for the two years before that two and a half years before that I was up in Hudson Wisconsin I wasn't here you know it's not this isn't new you know I mean the only thing that was new is her pretending like we were going to get back together when really not the only thing that was really new was she's now slapping Olivia across the face and fighting with her you know and hitting the kids and that I've got recordings on you know like what the is going on and arguments with her it just makes no sense the [ __ ] that's coming out of her mouth you know um and whether you think she's telling the truth or not wherever I drop the phone outside the truck inside the truck whatever the you can think whatever you want at the end of the day if she knew what she claims to have known found it under the sea drove all the [ __ ] way down to kosha before she shuts it off what does that tell you [ __ ] just [ __ ] no I can't have a cell phone it's [ __ ] just more [ __ ] everything that goes wrong in the world is not my fault sure I'm sorry it's just not you know that's that's on her to try to account for but the best she can do is point the finger at me and I have no idea so you it's going both ways I your point finger there's Point fing well I guess that's lack of go sometimes I suppose and the one in the middle Our God we're not supposed to believe well you got version too I mean you know when we went to court for the well no well hear me out man I mean you I see you're quick to cut me off but the truth is is like even when we went to court you know after the after the now mind you my daughter was not there Mom swung the broom at my face she shoved me in the door four times all sorts of [ __ ] right we show up at Court my daughter can't even talk to me she won't look at me she hates my guts because whatever the mom told you know I mean I I hear you that's told she was she wasn't like that today man I'm telling you she wasn't like that today she took your side by and large yeah and had had she want to throw you under the bus she want to throw your side I don't she's not going to call you good dad she's not going to say hey we're we're awesome together and then tell me this [ __ ] about you of what you did says you I know my daughter and she does that [ __ ] man and it's frustrating for me as a dad I hear you I like that you have faith I do too by and large but it's not true it's not true okay she does now whether she was telling the truth today or whatever the happened no I'm I can guarantee you there was some embellishment there she does that [ __ ] try to spare the Wrath or whatever she does that [ __ ] and I don't really know what she asked her I don't know what I wasn't there for it but you know I'm pretty good at calling her out on it and she usually doesn't want Dad around for those reasons even when we talk to the police in Germantown she's like no I don't want Dad there you know had to go to the room with mom like all right you know told City just well you know Dad sniffs that [ __ ] out a lot better than mom does right I mean yeah and if I was in there I probably would have caught her for that other Vape pod and the battery that she was trying to you know hustle around with I mean come on do you need more water water give me a minute and talk to real quick be right back right yeah how what time is it man I mean I'm tired me too 11:50 7 so just give me a second how long [ __ ] going to take you know all right we're done we can't talk to you no more I didn't do [ __ ] I don't know what you want from me this is I don't think I cross any lines all right um so what's going to happen is the officer is going to take you over across the street um jail you'll have what time is it after midnight um within 48 hours you'll have preliminary hearing for for what stalking so I can't guar 48 Hours what 48 hours I said it could be tomorrow at 1:00 or else it'll be Tuesday at 1:00 I don't know the exact time morning we will have a meeting with our district attorney office I didn't do [ __ ] to her what are you talking about that's what's happening tonight so we can't talk about anymore you have request an attorney so that that's what's going to happen tonight I just want to make you aware of that this is bananas you guys for stalking get the out of here yep that's the the charge come on now really y 48 a minute I'll get the officers to come in here and then so we'll get you out of here like you requested shortly after this the interview came to an end and months later on December 11th Zach was charged with felony counts of hiding a corpse two counts of stalking and first-degree intentional homicide 3 years later on February 28th 2023 Zach's murder trial nearly failed as soon as it began because the defense argued that STI was never investigated as a possible suspect however an agreement was reached between the defense and prosecution preventing a mistrial by May 16th 2023 Zachariah Anderson was sentenced to 10 years in prison for hiding the corpse and stalking and a life sentence for the murder he will be eligible for supervised release after serving 40 Years of that life sentence during this entire time ralo's body was never found
