October 28th, 2022 started with a noise complaint that Trooper Matthews just couldn't ignore. A black sport bike decided to treat the public roads like a private drag strip, leading to a pursuit that the rider definitely didn't plan for in his morning schedule. >> All right. Uh, believe we passed up Mount Taber. I don't know the name of this road right here. Stand by. You turn. You turn. You turn. >> Going back south. Back southbound. All right, he's signaling. Brandon Balu eventually found himself in handcuffs after a very sweaty encounter with the law. He was found to be under the influence and possessed a collection of warrants that would make any collector jealous. The biker ended his day at the Foresight County Jail while his ride was towed away. The morning of March 25th, 2025 in West Memphis took a chaotic turn when a stolen Ford Edge decided to play chicken with oncoming traffic. Trooper Dylan Evans tried to initiate a stop, but the suspects had a much more dangerous itinerary in mind that endangered dozens of innocent drivers. 1037 service. the wrong way on the service road. >> He's getting on there. Authorities recovered burglary tools and stolen plates from the scene, proving that their criminal career was as poorly planned as their driving. This duo will have plenty of time to reflect on their choices while the local community enjoys a much quieter commute. Saturday, January 15th, 2023 was a confusing time for Alexius Mlin, who seemingly forgot that police officers are paid to watch stolen cars. She walked out of a house and hopped into a running vehicle that was already under surveillance, sparking a low-speed parade through the neighborhood, reaching 51 mph. is south on Warren. >> South on Warren. Please. You know this. Please. Please don't let me go to jail. >> Get in. >> I'm a good >> Get in the car. >> Get your feet in. Mlin was so heavily intoxicated that the local jailers handed her right back to the officers for a medical evaluation. She was eventually cited for felony fleeing and her very first driving while intoxicated offense. The stolen car was returned to its owner while Mlin headed to a hospital bed for a long overdue nap. Lancing residents got an unwanted front row seat to a high-speed circus on July 19th, 2022. Robert Regal and Schaffer Smith decided a rental truck was the perfect getaway vehicle for a dash that topped 122 mph in a 45 mph zone. >> River Valley Speedway. He's still trying to pit him out. The chaotic ride ended with a pregnant passenger in the back seat who claimed she was just a casual acquaintance of the two men. Regal's attempt to use a fake name failed twice as the officers were far more interested in his actual identity than his fiction. The group from Dallas ended their road trip in the back of a squad car instead of their original destination. Gwynette County streets became a temporary racetrack on August 23rd, 2023 when a pack of sport bikes caught the eye of trooper Matthews. While most of the riders blended back into traffic, Muhammad Darcia decided to double down on a high-speed sprint for the border. >> Parkway Atlanta, if you would notify Gwynette for me, boys. Notify Gwynette County. I'm passing Riverside. Lot of traffic. A lot of traffic. We're coming up on some uh thick traffic right here. I'm trying to get through them. I got I got Darcia learned that resisting three troopers is a fantastic way to earn a few bruises and a taser shock for his efforts. He was treated for his minor injuries by a jail nurse before being processed into the system. His Suzuki was sent to the impound lot while he moved into a far less spacious cell for the foreseeable future. June 13th, 2023 brought a torrential downpour that should have kept most people inside, but Dustin Sockwell had a silver Camaro and a very heavy foot. He hit speeds of 134 mph on wet pavement just to avoid another trip to the impound lot. A bolo has been added to the list. We're turning going here. All right, defense, let me know. I'm going to try the spikes here for the 12. Continuing on. Okay, keep running on. There's a bridge between the 12 and the Ber that bridge. Can I just talk to you? I need somebody. >> You probably ended his wet and wild ride in a ditch with a flat tire and a very unimpressed arresting officer. A small amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle, adding more weight to his already sinking legal ship. He is now facing a felony fleeing charge, which is significantly more expensive than the impound fee he was so desperate to avoid. A typical Saturday afternoon on October 4th, 2025, turned into a felony for Kavont Hampton after a quick visit to Walmart. He was spotted in a Dodge Charger with fake plates and decided that a high-speed dash was the only way to close out his shopping trip. Goodbye. Heat. Heat. Hey, heat. We're hungry. 11. Crash. Crash. Crash. Crash. Crash. I can't help me. Help me. Please. I can't get out. >> I can't I can't My >> get it. I get it. I get it. >> I told him to stop. >> My arm. His passenger, Malachi Jackson, was sent to a local hospital for an arm injury before joining his friends in the Garland County Detention Center. All three subjects now have a collection of charges to discuss with their lawyers after their brief moment of fame. November 29th, 2023 featured Fdarius Leaden trying to break land speed records in a Nissan Maxima at midnight. He was clocked doing 100 mph and he apparently thought the emergency lights behind him were just decorative additions to the highway. >> 27 location. We're here at the shell on the service road. I can't get this street, but they'll find me here on the service road. >> Come on. Keep your hands up. Come this way. I said this way. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Leaden later admitted that his decision-making skills were fueled by alcohol and marijuana before the pursuit began. A pregnant passenger had to be evaluated for breathing issues after the chaotic dash finally came to a halt. The driver is now facing several charges, including driving while intoxicated and felony fleeing. The interstate traffic on November 2nd, 2024 was treated to a terrifying show by Nicholas Bulock in a black Cadillac. He was spotted flying at 109 mph and he eventually decided to try his luck by driving head-on into oncoming traffic in the median. He's turning around in the medium. >> Turn around. >> All right. A daylight pursuit through Aken Park featured a motorcyclist who thought his bike could outrun the Arkansas State Police.
