So,
uh, you're you're going to be charged
with, um, battery, okay, right? It's not
domestic. Why am I getting charged with
a battery? Do you have do you have
anything else on your pocket? When love
turns into obsession, some women lose
control and are willing to destroy
everything, even the life of the man
they once loved. So, I'm like, man, put
that [ __ ] down. You're not going to bust
my windows. I'm going to knock you out.
You know what I'm saying? Because that's
what it is. I can't let you bust my
windows my mama. And and me, I'm not
going to let her. So I'm like, "Yo, what
the stop blaster in my chest, smacking
me." Today we witnessed the downfall of
Karens as they crumble under the
unforgiving weight of the law. She just
wanted her phone back, but no one
expected that request to lead to the
police intervening. It's not domestic.
Why might I get charged with a battery?
See how do you have anything else on
your pocket or like, "Man, put that [ __ ]
down. You're not going to bust my
window. I'm going to knock you out." You
know what I'm saying? Cuz that's what it
is. I can't let you bust my window. This
is my mama car. On June 2nd, 2023,
police were called to an apartment
complex after a man reported being
assaulted by a woman. Officers quickly
arrived at the scene and were met with
utter chaos. I already said the police.
Okay. I know, but right now, you're not
free to go. Okay. You got to wait for us
to figure out what's going on. All
right. Once we figure out what's going
on my phone, it won't give me my phone,
bro. Okay. All right. So, there I know
there's two sides of the story there.
You want to get the baby off and we'll
stand over here in the shade. Now, on
this [ __ ] bro. I should be talking. You
said I would put your hands on my sister
with my phone.
So do you want to tell us your side of
the story or I'm not telling no sign I'm
ready to go. Ain't nothing happened. You
want me my phone? So I said I'm leaving.
Ain't nothing happen. All right. So he's
claiming stuff over there, right? So
officer talking to him and based on what
he says then we'll go from there. Jay,
come get the live. There go my sister
right there. He won't even give my
phone. He took my phone. Hey, nothing to
figure out. I don't want to talk. I
know. That's fine. That's fine. She said
took my phone. We were just good coming
from the hassle. He took my phone right
when we came from the house. You
supposed to do my hair. Girl, he took my
phone cuz you see I was talking to
Jesus. We not together. Say together.
What you so mad for? She refused to
cooperate and denied all accusations,
but when cornered, she claimed she
didn't hit anyone and was only trying to
retrieve her phone. Taken in a moment of
jealousy. Was this a defense or the
beginning of a truth? Far more tangled.
She talking about if I got a witness,
nobody put their hands on you would give
you my phone. You took my phone. How you
going to give me a phone and take it
back? My iPhone that you just broke.
Okay. Right. Not the right one, too.
Yeah. He don't want to be a bigger
person about nobody put their hands on
you. Can't even show them no proof that
I put your hands on you. Just hang up
the phone. That way he is. Hey J, did I
hit him? He talking about I hat. He
didn't want to give my phone the whole
time we was out the door. You have ID on
you? No.
What's your name? Hey, why you so mad?
He took my iPhone and then now you're
not trying to give back my phone. I
mean, I get what you're saying. You're
right. But you know, it's petty. That's
his baby. No, that's my baby. be daddy
baby. He look up to the girl as his
baby. Okay. But you guys don't have kids
in common. He tricked me into going to
the hair store with me. Now he know I
got a girlfriend. So he want me to break
up with my girlfriend to be with him.
And I told him I don't want to be with
him. So he took my iPhone and said,
"Bitch, I got my iPhone. He ain't
getting [ __ ] back." How you going to do
that? So I said I want to get out your
car until you give me my phone. That's
my phone. But I didn't put my hands on
him. Nobody ain't in the Nobody ain't
hitting each other. Jay, where you going
and it hit you? I said I was getting out
your car. He mad. I'm tell right now.
This why I first lost. So we going
through this for years. He mad cuz I
don't want to be with him. I'm telling
you what it is. I've been with a whole
girl for nine months, 10 months now. He
mad. I don't want to be with him. So, he
tricked me into getting my hair for me.
And when we got back, he went to the
hair store and he was like, "Bitch, you
ain't getting your iPhone." I said,
"Okay, I'm not getting out your car."
Well, they lying cuz one, nothing
happened outside. Ain't [ __ ] happened
out there. And you know, people people
who don't know call, they exaggerated.
That's what they said. They said, "I'm
going y'all to come to He was out there
arguing. He came over here to my sister
residence, took me to the hair store.
You came over here." No, he doesn't even
live. He don't even live over He came
over here to my sister house. Where's he
live? He stay on Yeah. He don't live
over here. While she denied any violent
behavior, his accusations were clear, a
necklace torn off, a window threatened,
and someone refusing to get out of the
car. So, who was telling the truth?
Anyway, she um she's threatening to
break my windows with a brick and for
cuz he's claiming a possible 85 and he's
not. You know what I'm saying? Possible
85. Hey, come here. So, do you have ID
with you, sir? Yeah. You don't have any
weapons on your Someone mention
anything. Hey, go get the go get the L.
She going to jail. Go get the L cuz she
going to go to jail. She over there. She
going to jail though. Believe that. That
whole liar. So I bet she go to jail.
We're going to stay 1012 with her. Me
and I didn't put my hands on her. Can
you talk to me so I can help She
understand I'm here to help. Okay, I
understand. Well, you got to just take a
deep breath, man, and relax so I can
help you. Have a seat right now so we
can talk, man. I just got attacked.
So, who else is involved in seen?
Nobody. It's just me and her. Okay. So,
they just witness he witnessed
everything that happened. This [ __ ] put
her [ __ ] hands on me and I I
couldn't She can't beat me up. What
exactly did she do? She She tried to
grab my chain. She She said she was
going to bust the windows on my car. So,
I had to go confront her about busting.
Come ask this guy. I don't want to tell
you cuz you can't go by what I'm saying.
Go by what the witness saying. We going
to go talk. We going to go talk to Okay.
Well, she grabbed my chain. So, and
where did this happen? Where did they
This happened right here by my at my
car. She didn't want to get out of my
car. I told her to get out of my car
like 10 times. Even on the She didn't
want to get out. Do you guys live here?
No. I just came over here to go buy find
buy some hair and [ __ ]
Are you there? I copy. So, she got a
brick. She threatened to hit me with a
brick. She hit me after she had a brick.
All kind of an emergency
west patrol west. Do you want to write a
statement about what happened? Yeah. Can
I go? Can we go back to my car to make
sure my door's locked and see destroy?
Where's your car at? All right. Were you
driving here? Do you guys live here? Who
is this female to you? I don't know
anything. Okay. Well, I came over here
to um take it to the hair store to buy
some hair. bought the hair, bought the
baby um address. You guys live here? No,
this is where her sister stays over
there. Her sister stays over here. So
you guys probe over here in this vehicle
here. As the accusations kept piling up,
she stood her ground. No violence, no
assault. Just a reaction to having her
phone snatched out of her hands. The
police weren't looking for someone to
blame. They were looking for the truth.
Came to my sister said he was going to
buy me some hair from the hair store,
right? To get my braiding hair done.
This is her sister's house over here. He
end up going to the hair store to get my
braiding. He asked for my phone to fix
my mobile data. the mobile data on the
phone cuz you know the Wi-Fi goes slow.
Okay. So when he did that he to he
tripped me into taking my phone. And I'm
sorry. And this happened when you guys
were at the store or Yeah. No, it just
happened in my in my sister complex in
the parking lot. In the parking lot. So
you guys were sitting in the vehicle in
the car. Uhhuh. And I was about to get
out and he said, "Wait." He took my
phone. He was like, "I need to look."
You know how you try to get the Wi-Fi to
go fast on your phone? That's what he
was doing. He was like, "Bitch, you
ain't get your phone back where you was
last night." Like he don't know that we
we both he got a girlfriend and I got a
girlfriend. So for you to even try to do
that is lame. Why would you trick me to
say you going to buy my hair? And then
we get to the complex and you be like,
"Give me your phone. I'm not getting it
back." I to put my service on that
phone. That's my iPhone. Hang on. So So
I just wanted my phone. So I told him,
"What? Give me my phone." So he was
trying to work on your phone. You asking
if you ask him for the phone and he
wouldn't give it back to you. He didn't
give it back to you once he took it.
Okay. And then what happened at that
point? Okay. Of course. You know,
somebody I told him I want to get out
his car to the police cuz I wanted my
phone from him. That's what I said.
Okay. And what happened after that?
There's nothing happened after that. So
you guys get into an argument over the
phone? We were just arguing. Well, we
talking about the phone, but nobody
didn't know hitting nobody. Was he still
sitting in the driver's side the whole
time? He was out the car
walking to find the address. After
reviewing the statements and evidence,
police decided to charge her with simple
battery. But instead of backing down,
she fired back, not because of the
charge itself, but because of a deep
sense of injustice. One accusation was
all it took to ignite a two-sided
battle. Review the video of what
happened. I don't I I appreciate you
telling me what happened. I don't think
you're being completely true completely
honest with me. No, I didn't do nothing
to him. I didn't hit him. We didn't do
nothing. He got my phone. Hear me out.
So, I don't think you're being
completely honest with me. Uh I do have
witnesses giving me some other
information. Well, what they said about
So, here's the deal. I'm going to I'm
going to be flat out with you. I'm not
trying to get into um I'm You're going
to be charged with battery. I'm being
charged with battery. I didn't hear you.
So, I'm going to turn around. Just put
your hands down. So, listen. Simple
battery. If I I touch you, you don't
want me to touch you. That's enough for
simple battery, right? I didn't even hit
him though. You put your hands on him at
some point. There's witness. I didn't
hit him. Jay, did I hit this boy? Is
that I didn't hit. So listen to me. I
didn't say hit. You touched him. So and
he's being petty. He touched me. I got a
scratch on my neck. Press charges on
him. Like what? See, you see where you
see where we going with this? I just
asked you, right? No, I you asked me to
hear it. I hate him. Hear your mouth.
you out and you say there's nothing.
So listen, so listen, it's not not
domestic, right? It's not domestic. Why
am I getting charged with a battery? Do
you have do you have anything else on
your pocket? In Florida, simple battery
is the intentional touching of another
person without consent or causing minor
injury, punishable by up to one year in
prison, one year of probation, or a fine
of up to
$1,000 if it is a first offense. The
woman was charged with battery and
offense that can result in fines and no
contact order or probation. Up next,
vacation turns into chaos when a jealous
wife snaps after catching her husband
flirting. What happened to you? She was
hitting me. Where is she? She's over
there in the front. Where? She should be
in the office, I think. Or she Yeah,
sorry. Was with her in the office. So,
they're good over there. This is what
happened. Can you tell me what happened?
We went on an excursion. She got mad
about something. She swore she thought
she saw on the boat and we came back. We
came back here and actually no, she left
before me. She left me over there alone
and I She walked all the way back here
from where we were at. When I came back
here, she was already here. I walked
back in. She confronted me about
whatever she thought was happening with
some other girl. It wasn't really
happening like that. And she blasted me.
She blasted me. I grabbed her. I said,
"You need to stop." Wait, can you Sorry,
one second. Can you explain to me what
you mean by blasted you? Oh, she stacked
the life out of me, bro. Like all over
my everywhere. Like right here. Can you
show me where she hit you? Oh, right
here. On your face? My nose? She hit
your chest? My chest? Everything. See,
I'm I'm trying to I see you have a a
scratch right there. Was that from this?
I don't want I don't want I understand.
Was that from this? Yeah. And then you
have a contusion on your nose. That's
from that from her too. Did she hit you
anywhere else? No, she was after that I
was just basically trying to, you know,
stop. I was like, "Yo, please just
stop." And then, of course, she was
like, "Oh, I'm going to tell them that
you touch me this." So, this is your
girl? Yes. Do you guys Where are you
guys from? We're from St. Augustine. We
just visit. So, you live together? Yeah.
Okay. How long have you lived together?
Um, over about two years now. Okay. Can
you show me the room? Looks like it's a
little The police arrived at the hotel
after hearing screams in the middle of
the night. The man was the first they
encountered claiming he had been
attacked by his girlfriend the moment he
entered the room. An accusation had been
made, but was that the whole story?
Drove down here, man. You know, we were
drinking and stuff. And she swore she
saw some [ __ ] that I did. I didn't, you
know, nothing. She drive? Yeah, she
that's the only car that you Oh, no.
Actually, no. She walked back from where
we were at. her drive, her car is here,
but we drove we walked to uh to the
excursion that we were going on and we
walked back. Well, I walked back and she
walked back as well, but she left before
me and you know, I came here and she was
here and I told her I was like, "Listen,
what like what the [ __ ] happened?" You
know, and she was like, "How you
disrespect you?" Blah, blah, blah. And
you know what's crazy, bro? Like, you
know, like another girl. I was just
like, "We're on a [ __ ] boat, man.
There's people everywhere. We're
talking. Everybody's drunk and talking
and and she just she just got mad
because she saw she saw that I was
talking to like this on the ground. But
that's that's the most that's the the
least part of it. It's just the point of
how she reacted off. It was crazy. How
much did she drink? Did she drink a lot?
No, we were drinking more. She drank a
lot. We were drinking since 7:00 in the
morning, man. Since she woke up. Okay.
I'm just I'm just, you know, I'm not
going to let her I'm not going to let
her do this and make it seem like I'm
the one that did something, bro. She's
the one that me up. I know. She She was
You were trying You were being honest,
you know, dude. Like, what am I supposed
to do? Somebody's hitting me. What are
you going to do? I just I just saw she
was bleeding right here. That's That's
She must have did that [ __ ] to herself
right here on that goddamn on this
goddamn fridge or whatever. According to
the man, after a fit of jealousy on the
yacht and hours of drinking since early
morning, his girlfriend had attacked him
when he returned to the hotel with
injuries to his face and chest. He
insisted that he had not retaliated.
It's It's so stupid to even say. So, I
went downstairs to get a drink. She
stood upstairs. While I was downstairs,
it was, you know, you know, there's so
many people on this [ __ ] world. You
know, this girl comes up to me. She
says, "Hey, is that your wife?" Talking
about her. I said, "Yeah, I'm with her.
That's my wife." I said, "Okay, cool."
She said, "Okay, cool." Now, when I go
back upstairs, that same girl is talking
to my [ __ ] to her. So, I called her. I
said, "Yo, baby, you know that this girl
just literally asked me if you were my
wife." And she was, "Oh." And she got so
mad. Oh, why the weren't you telling me
this, this, and that? And that said it
all just because she said that I didn't
tell her in time that this girl was
asking me if me and her were in a
relationship. So that that was that was
the that was the premise of the
argument. Yes. That was the spot. So
when you guys left the boat she said
that she walked to the hotel. She left
you. So wait no first. See that's a lie.
So we both got off together. Okay. We
were with another couple. We went to the
um the Schwarz Schwarz whatever the um
that one. We went to that bar. All of us
sitting at the table, ordered drinks.
She was so mad. She left me and I'm
sitting there with these people, people
I don't even know. So I'm like, "What
the?" So I'm like, "Okay, I'm here
alone." I left them and I walked all the
way back to where the we were at and she
was here. When I walked in, I swear on
my daughter's life, she was like, "Why
the did you tell me?" And she blasted
blasted. That's what she did. And and me
up. I mean, I'm not going to let her. So
I'm like, "Yo, what the stop blasting my
chest, smacking me everywhere. Okay, my
nose everywhere." You know what I mean?
And I'm like, "Yo, what the is wrong
with you?" I'm trying to explain to
like, "Yo, relax. Is going on." The
man's testimony was clear, but it was
the witnesses that held the key. Some
reported hearing slaps, others heard
shouting. The truth at this point still
lingered in the gaps. He walked into the
room. All right. Wherever he came from,
what exactly happened? As soon as you
walked in, we started talking about what
happened on the boat and we were both
angry and we were Okay. When did the
physical altercation start? I had my
phone in my hand. Okay. And actually, he
broke my phone outside. So, I don't know
if they cameras or anything. Did you
break his phone first? No, I did not
break his phone first. Okay. That's not
what he's saying. He says stuff like
this all the time. I understand that.
I'm just trying I'm just trying to get
the story straight because you're saying
one thing while I came out the scene.
Okay. So, let me ask you this. When you
walked into the room, did you hit him?
No, I'm just asking. Just asking
question. Just asking a question. All
right. Because like obviously he's
telling me his side of story. I got to
hear your side of story. I understand.
I'm sorry. I'm just wound up. I get it.
I was sitting there. I sat there for
maybe 10 15 minutes. I waited for him to
come. By that time I was cool, ready and
when he came he was angry. We went in
the room. We just started yelling and
then it was shoving and stuff. So let me
ask you this. At one point both of you
guys eventually hit each other as far as
who hit who first. You guys both hit
each other. So man is on me. Yeah, I
totally agree. I mean, once again, like
I'm not saying that that didn't happen,
but also I have I can't base everything
off of your word. All right? I got to
get everybody's side of the story and
then figure out like who started it.
Okay? And where did the the physical
altercation start, all right? I mean, I
know bottom line, the premise of the
argument was when it was her turn to
speak, the story took an immediate turn.
She claimed she had been attacked first
with an object and what happened next
was merely an act of self-defense. The
truth at this point was twisted by
conflicting testimonies.
So, uh, you're you're going to be
charged with, um, battery. Okay. Can you
explain what that means? I will explain
that to you. Yes. Just give me a second.
Okay. How is he getting make sure I
don't hurt you? Yeah, I can explain that
all to you. So, right now, he is also
being placed under arrest. Okay. We'll
make sure that all of your items are
sorted. Okay. Should I have shoes? Yeah,
we'll make sure you have shoes. Okay.
No, it's not your fault. Um, what shoes
would you like? Would you like your
sandals or tennis shoes? Those are
broke. Um, he broke my phone. Um, okay.
Where's your wallet? Do I need money? I
would just think like your ID and Yeah,
your I would say I think he has a um
It's in the room. I think my No, the cop
had my ID. I think my cash app card.
It's a white card in the black bag. The
police decided to arrest both
individuals on charges of battery and
took them to the station for processing.
They were informed that they would
appear in court the next day to face the
battery charges. Just one moment of lost
control can shatter a relationship and
its future. Violence leaves more than
bruises it scars the heart. Step back,
listen, and think because once the
police get involved, love is no longer
enough. Hey everyone, what do you think
