On February 3rd, 2024, Virginia troopers received an alert for a Hyundai Elantre that had been reported stolen out of Maryland. I had nothing on me. The rider was identified as Zachary Trayvon Prior Hicks after troopers brought the incident to an end. Following a medical evaluation, he was transported to the Bib County Law Enforcement Center while the unregistered and uninsured dirt bike was hauled away by a tow service. July 21st, 2024, deputies spotted a four-wheeler racing down the roadway without proper registration and lighting equipment. Instead of pulling over driver Gerald Rashad Bllelock accelerated away with his pregnant wife riding on the back. >> It'll be a four-wheel on a road. >> Not one. His charges included felony fleeing reckless driving and operating without insurance, while his wife told deputies she repeatedly urged him to stop during the incident. On December 26th, 2022, a driver behind the wheel of a Honda Accord decided that stopping for Arkansas authorities was optional. That decision quickly created problems for several innocent motorists sharing the roadway. 888 Zebra Mary X-Ray 888 ZMX just turned onto Butler from 60 and 1037. Investigators later identified both individuals and fortunately none of the people involved suffered serious injuries. Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, a Greenfield police officer reportedly witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction near South 27th Street. Officers later recovered suspected crack cocaine that had allegedly been discarded during the suspect's attempt to escape. Shortly after 2 am on August 26th, 2023, a Georgia State Patrol trooper noticed a Honda Accord making abrupt and suspicious driving maneuvers through Savannah. Joden Brown was taken to the Cadam County Jail after investigators uncovered a firearm alcohol and suspected narcotics connected to the case. Among the charges were felony fleeing possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and several drugrelated offenses. On July 8th, 2022, officers attempted to stop an Infiniti Sport utility vehicle that seemed determined to keep moving no matter how much damage it suffered. The driver continued trying to escape even as the vehicle steadily fell apart. Careful. 10:37. What direction? University right when the colonel went. They blew a tire cuz they hit the curb. That effort ended with a short foot chase after the suspect abandoned the damaged vehicle. Officers quickly caught up with the driver and took him into custody without further incident. During a daytime pursuit in Florida, officers found themselves dealing with a suspect who appeared unwilling to surrender despite overwhelming law enforcement presence. The situation became even more chaotic as the pursuit created unexpected problems for everyone involved. It's right here. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Eddie, [screaming] READY? Send the dog. Send the dog. Send the dog. Hold on. 30 minutes for me, please. [screaming] >> Good boy. >> You good? He got He got You good? Good boy. >> Good boy. Good boy. After the suspect was finally captured, medical personnel evaluated him while officers worked to confirm his identity and investigate the circumstances surrounding the chase. Authorities continued reviewing the incident to determine the full list of charges he could face. September 17th, 2025, a traffic stop in rural Arkansas turned into a debate over whether the person initiating it was actually a police officer. A 25-year-old woman became alarmed when an unmarked truck driven by Jefferson County Constable William Hamilton attempted to pull her over. >> Can't for tell them to stay put. >> What are you doing? >> What are you doing? >> I'm chasing. >> Why? >> Cuz she come through. She'll run 50 mph. She's run 85 m hour. I'm a constant. Jefferson County. >> Okay. She run a stop sign right down here. Right there she is. >> Okay. That vehicle there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Let me pull over. >> Yeah. You Let's all move over there. >> 606. Okay. >> Hello. >> You just said that. Okay, you need to settle down. Okay. All >> right. I've asked you for your driver's license, insurance, registration several times. You run 80 mph coming up Highway 15. You'd run this stop sign light right down here. >> I I was scared. You're not in a police car. >> That is a police vehicle. >> You're not in a uniform. How do I know that? I was in jail. >> There's so much going on out here. How do I know that? >> Don't holl at me. >> You are yelling at me. >> Here. Give me a Just back. BACK UP. BACK UP. BACK UP. >> YOU'RE IN MY town now. You're going to back up when I tell you to back up. >> Don't start. >> Back up. >> I'm conducting this. >> You need to chill out. >> Just go over there. I'll talk. >> Don't you tell me what to do. >> I was going to give you a warning. >> Hey, do you know what jurisdiction you're in right now? >> Yes, I know. So, back up. It don't matter. I COME INTO THIS JURISDICTION with my lights on chasing her. >> I have every right. That does not look like a police vehicle. >> I don't care what you think. >> You understand me? Back up. >> Let me tell you something, buddy. >> 606. Give me a deputy out here. >> Yeah, get a deputy. Get back. >> I'm not arguing. >> I am conducting this stop. >> Go over there. >> Don't tell me what to do. >> She has been nothing but trouble. She pulled away from a traffic stop. >> Okay. And I'll figure that out in a second. Right now, you're in my town. Okay. So, you're going to chill out. You're not even in your jurisdiction anymore. You didn't call me out of my jurisdiction when I come in here. >> Did you let county know that you were coming? >> No. >> No. Exactly. So, I don't know any of this is true. So, you can sit back and wait. >> What you WANT TO DO? YOU UNDERSTAND ME? >> NO. >> I'm not arguing with you. >> Going to bargain. I promise. >> Find out who that guy is. >> So, you tell me what happened. Okay. >> Hold on, Eddie. Um, I'm coming from Pine Bluff. I'm, you know, going the back way or whatever. >> He's going a little. So, I passed him and then I guess that's when he claimed he turned his lights on for me to uh pull over, but I'm like u not sure to pull over or not cuz he's not in the police car. And so, >> and so you don't have to tell me how fast you were going or nothing, but um so from there, you passed him. >> Yeah, I passed him. >> Yeah. And you didn't Typically, when I pass somebody, I don't look at their vehicle. You didn't look at his? >> Uh-uh. >> Didn't see any badging, nothing. >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. And so what happened after you passed him? >> And then it was another uh truck coming from the opposite side. I guess they are in cruise with each other. I don't know. He literally blocked the street. Like forced me to stop and pull over. He let his uh window down. So I just I let mine down a little bit. And then he was like, "You don't see who's behind you. That's the police. Pull over." And I'm like, "Whatever." So, but I have no choice but to pull over because he's back in the uh the street and then he gets out the car. >> Hold on. Go ahead. >> History in the state of Arkansas with people in unmarked vehicles people over. >> Yeah. If I'd have done that, I wouldn't even had my badge on. I wouldn't identified myself. I'd have pulled them decals off. I've got nothing to hide. >> So, if you wrote her a ticket, what port would it be out of Jefferson County? Okay. You can write her a ticket and then you can leave. Um, but she's not going to jail. All right. >> That's a matter of opinion. Her leaving the scene. >> She's going to leave the scene and ain't >> stop it. >> All right. You can write her a ticket if you want to. >> You going to let all this pass. >> Well, it happened in your jurisdiction. You can write her a ticket. >> That's right. >> All right. >> That's what I tried to explain. >> You got a ticket book. You can go write a ticket. But then y'all are gonna part ways and that's gonna be the end of it. >> All right. >> All right. >> Console Egyptian County pursued this vehicle here without >> seemingly without calling it in >> and she was fearful that he wasn't a real cop. >> I mean, I would be too. >> And so that's where we're at. I had to push him back away from her vehicle cuz he would not calm down. >> So what's he writing her ticket for? I guess the speeding that she did through Cheryl. I don't know how he ex. But he can ride her for whatever happened in his jurisdiction, but >> So who you who you stop? >> Uh this is a constable that pulled her over. Uh we're verifying his identity, but the most that's going to happen is he's going to write her a citation. uh for >> whatever happened. >> You said she ran a stop sign or something. >> All right. So now listen, the citation is is to come to court and and fight it. Okay? >> Right? That's that's a summon to appear. Under no circumstances is anything else going to happen. I promise you. Okay? He will go to jail before you will. >> Okay? >> Because he was causing a scene out here. That's >> like I told you he he can technically sign >> he can write you a citation. >> Yeah. >> And y'all can go to court on it, but that's going to be the end of it. And if anything else happens, then we'll deal with that. All right. Where you live at? >> Scott. Okay. >> So, real quick, can I just get your ID? That way I can log who you are. you're coming to our account pursuing this >> and and like I said technically he can site you for whatever happened in his jurisdiction but him saying that you were fleeing into here and running a stop sign >> yeah if you were fleeing fleeing you wouldn't have called >> cuz you passed him >> he didn't say it was about speeding nothing and then he passed you for your driver's license multiple times stop either No, the only reason I stopped is because somebody else, whoever he was called or was with, blocked the street and like I was forced to pull. >> Yeah. So, apparently there was a second vehicle. She did stop and he came up and said, you know, whatever with Yeah. And what he's wearing the vehicle I told I wouldn't have believed he was either. >> I wouldn't either. I told him I'd have left, too. >> That's why when I saw him behind her when I was coming through here, I radio it's like there's a vehicle with blue lights behind her but it doesn't look like no police vehicle. Well, I called Inland Police Department and they told me to to stop here. It should be officially. So, you're fine. He's going to write you a warning. Okay. And then you and your dad can talk to whatever authorities there are in Jefferson County about this. Okay. This is the most peaceful, quickest way to resolve this. All right. That warning doesn't require you to do anything. I promise not to do it again. She's out of control. You just need to go on down the road. >> You going to Scott? Is that where you live? >> We got all your information for witnesses. >> I got her. >> We just need your phone number and all that. >> Yeah. I'll grab that from you real quick. I already nice lady and not some older England res out here >> here. I already scan that with my thing. So, what's your phone number? >> Okay. >> And that license that was on your ID, is that still your current one? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Should be fine. over there. >> Oh, she's free to go. >> Oh, you already got her info. >> I got it. Okay. >> Yeah, you're free to go. >> Yeah. No, she's good to go. We're not doing >> Oh, almost forgot. He almost drove over the ditch to turn it turning into the Dollar General when he was trying to follow her. >> I got out. I said, "What are you doing?" >> Doesn't sound like it's a good traffic stop. So, we Stick around. Make sure you don't follow her. And >> yeah, looks >> like you got some backup, man. >> After officers from England police arrived, the situation shifted from a pursuit investigation to sorting out the confusion surrounding the stop. The woman was ultimately allowed to leave while any potential citation related to speeding or traffic violations remained in the constable's hands. On June 19th, 2022, a white Chevrolet Impala traveling without a license plate caught the attention of Georgia State Patrol. The driver, Willie Lee Postel, responded to the attempted stop by choosing the least helpful option available and fleeing. 390 left behind 885. 35 improperly correctly. Hurry up. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Get on the ground. [screaming] Get on the ground. Get on the line. Hit. Heat. Heat. him. Chase him. He's resisting. Chase him. >> Lay him on the ground now. >> Lay on the ground now. [crying] >> Get on YOUR STOMACH NOW. [screaming] HARD BEHIND YOUR BACK. YEAH. >> Pastelle was eventually taken into custody after refusing commands and forcing officers to use a taser. Investigators later found open alcoholic beverages and a shotgun inside the vehicle resulting in charges including fleeing and eluding driving on a suspended license and alcoholrelated offenses. Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, Los Angeles police were searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged assault involving a deadly weapon. Rather than surrender peacefully, the suspect led officers through parts of the San Fernando Valley. This part of the valley, he started over in the Tanga Division, which is where they started this pursuit, and now he's making his way all the way over here. He's now straddling that double yellow line. Oncoming lanes of traffic here, looking for any opportunity to evade those units. Oh, close call. Close call. Yeah, this is the problem now. Yeah. Well, that that if there's any opportunity for a spike strip, they've already given the go-ahad for that spike attempt if they see it. However, the speeds here, look at him doing just a moment ago about 70 mph on Wanka Avenue. Now he's slowing down. Here comes a possible pit attempt, but there is cross traffic here. There is oncoming traffic. This is not the best place for it. But there it goes. A live pit maneuver right there into oncoming lanes of traffic. A textbook pit maneuver with now the suspect and that unit face to face. All three units coming to a stop here. Officers with their guns drawn and the driver popping that door open. Let's be very careful here with this shot. We are ready for anything, but if he pulls out any kind of a weapon, we will be zooming out very rapidly. You can see them pointing their guns at that driver, commanding him out of the vehicle after a textbook pit maneuver, activating that inertia switch, and flipping that car 180° in the opposite direction. now ending up on the southbound side of Wana Avenue here in Chadzsworth where they are giving that driver very specific commands to step out of that vehicle this point. So they are not going to do anything rash. They are going to instruct him out of the vehicle right now. You can see him communicating with the driver. There are hand signals being given. There are less lethal weapons at the ready and there are handguns at the ready. So, they are bringing in uh more units to shut down that intersection. The driver's side door has popped open. You can see his leg sticking out there. Uh but we have not seen the hands and that's what they really There you see his left hand, but they are not seeing we are not seeing really clear indications of him putting his hands up. He is agitated. He is gesturing in their direction. There's a lot of noise down there. There's a lot of helicopter sounds coming from above. You see LAPD's airship right overhead. Our helicopter making a lot of noise sometimes comes into play here, but they are giving him specific instructions that he is not following by my eye back in. You can see that driver side door now a little bit uh a little bit closed in here as he tries to restart this vehicle. Again, not complying with these cops. unstable. Now putting it into reverse. Now putting it into reverse. Do they have the intersection shutdown? Uh Rob still not shut down. Look at this. They have not been able to shut down that intersection. This pursuit may be back on here in just a second. Unbelievable. all that time. I thought for sure they would have somebody in position by now. But look at that. Look at all the damage there that he created during the course of this pursuit on the right side of the vehicle. This is the first time we're seeing the right side of the vehicle. You can see uh the undercarriage damage there, possibly two flat tires as he continues this pursuit now on Superior Street after backing up, getting back in the vehicle, turning it back on, and now pulling it into reverse. And now the pursuit continues once again. A kind of an astonishing sight here after that aggressive and daring pit maneuver, guys. Uh to see this pursuit continuing again is is uh shocking. It's actually shocking. Uh if you ask me continues this slow speed chase now in Chadzsworth. Pulling on to Maria Street and Cassaba Avenue. Just passing Cassaba as he goes over that speed bump at a snail's pace. He understands that the vehicle is not behaving well. Apparently, one or two flat tires. And here comes a second pit attempt. A weak attempt at that. Uh I don't know how he missed that. I don't know what's going on here, guys. This is very unusual to see LAPD in this position. Uh but they have now swapped out primary units. A new unit taking over this pursuit as he continues at a snail's pace through this neighborhood here. Here comes pit attempt number three. They are committed to getting this guy off the road. They have to now. There's no choice involved. They have to do it safely though. And that is proving to be a challenge here uh with now going the wrong way. Now going the wrong way on Mason Avenue. pulling on to Mason Avenue over the median. And now on the correct side, here comes pit attempt number three. Another pit attempt. A failed attempt at that. And the pursuit continues. This is wild. Absolutely. But these every time they approach him, every time they spook him, whether it's a pit maneuver attempt or uh or or just, you know, pulling up behind him like this, even if he's not going to attempt the pit maneuver, they're they're increasing the adrenaline rush in the driver's seat. That's agitating the driver. This has been a game of cat-and- mouse from the very beginning. And uh you have to wonder what his ultimate intention is here. Once again, coming to a stop in a parking space. uh you know he was trying to communic communicate with them the first time. There are photos in his hand. He appears to be a very desperate individual who uh has been spooked this afternoon into running from law enforcement refusing to pull over for unknown reasons. We do know that he is an assault with a deadly weapon suspect possibly armed with a knife and he is believed to possibly possibly be under the influence. Hit it. Yeah, he's got a bottle. It appears to be a water bottle. Not sure what's in the water bottle, but appears to be a water bottle. Uh took a few swigs of that and now looking back at those officers, uh much less threatening than originally uh than our, you know, our first blush and and first glimpse of him. Uh but uh he is now holding on, clutching onto those photographs as he peers back at those officers who are attempting to negotiate with him and uh asking him as as politely as possible to get out of the vehicle. Uh they're not going to rest easy or change their posture until he steps out of the vehicle and shows both hands. Uh but they have to be breathing a little bit easier just based World news. >> Driver standing up. Yep. Now showing signs of giving up here. Still not raising his hands, but at least he's out of the vehicle. He's on both feet looking inside the vehicle with his hands by his side. Unclear uh if language if there's a language barrier here or not. Uh but they are talking to him. They are communicating with him and they desperately want to see him put his hands in the air. They are by his side. He is said to be armed with a knife. That was preliminary information that they were working with during this pursuit. Now stepping away from the vehicle, hands on his head. And now it appears he is willing to surrender. Yeah, that's good news all around here. The suspect now proned out and it does appear that they will be approaching him momentarily. He is crossing his legs now, following all the instructions. A sure sign that he is willing to give up at this point. They're going to clear the vehicle, make sure there's nobody else in danger, make sure there's no other threat coming from that vehicle, and then they will take him into custody in a matter of seconds here after a tense ending to this dramatic pursuit. You mentioned it, slow speed at times, still reckless at other times, and uh we saw some daring moves by LAPD during this pursuit with those pit maneuvers uh in some pretty congested areas. So, uh, you know, each of these chases has, uh, their own uniqueness, and this one was no different. >> The incident concluded in Chadzsworth after an extended standoff inside the vehicle. The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without further resistance. On October 28th, 2023, Florida authorities began tracking suspects believed to be connected to a stolen Range Rover and a suspicious Mercedes linked to a burglary investigation.
