On July 28th, 2023, a traffic stop in West Memphis began over a license plate that was too dark to read and quickly raised questions about marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver, 32-year-old Demarcus Clark of West Memphis, was also found to have expired insurance as the encounter started to escalate. All right, I just about wrecked out. I TVI. I TVI 1016. The incident also left multiple police vehicles heavily damaged. The case involved fleeing from police, reckless driving, and endangering other motorists along with additional traffic related violations. March 23rd, 2026, a Florida trooper stopped a white GMC Sierra in Gadston County after noticing window tint that appeared darker than legally permitted. The driver, Rishard O Perryman, was asked to step out so officers could conduct a K-9 sniff, but instead he and passenger Chilla and McCrae remained inside. Hey man, can you hop back out here? Talk to me for a second. Come on, man. Come on, come talk to me. That's too slow. Everybody stop. Yeah. Heat. Where's he at? Nice. Okay. go. You can figure out your best spot. >> Both occupants were eventually taken into custody after the vehicle crashed and overturned. Neither accepted medical treatment at the scene. The discovery of approximately 14 lbs of methamphetamine under the truck added a much bigger problem to the case with Perryman facing consequences connected to the fleeing incident and the suspected drugs. On May 11th, 2022, Arkansas authorities moved in on a known state parole. Obscander believed to be leaving the Spanish Willow apartment complex in a black Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle also had extensive rear-end damage obstructing its license plate, giving officers another reason to make contact. 36 southbound fire springs southbound. Still don't move. Don't move. Investigators also determined he was wanted as a probation obscer. Reeves was booked on felony fleeing, firearm possession by a prohibited person, simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, and methamphetamine possession along with several additional charges and two outstanding warrants. February 8th, 2021, a Georgia State Patrol corporal spotted a blue Yamaha motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Georgia Highway 166 in Fulton County. When emergency lights were activated for the traffic stop, the rider chose to continue instead of pulling over. >> [music] >> on your location. >> Still westbound 1665 southbound. up on Washington Road. >> Getting up on Washington Road. >> Coming up on Washington Road. His driver's license was suspended and a check showed the Yamaha had been reported stolen. Officers also found two bags containing methamphetamine, while Andrews later refused implied consent for a blood test before being transported to the Clayton County Jail. On April 12th, 2024, a Kentucky trooper attempted to stop a driver who was already traveling more than 80 mph. Instead of slowing down, the driver accelerated toward Hopkinsville, turning a routine traffic stop into a rapidly escalating pursuit. Might as well keep running the stop sign on 418. Oh my gosh. The listed charges included speeding 26 mph or greater over the limit, operating with a suspended or revoked license, firstderee fleeing or evading police, two counts of firstdegree wanted endangerment, disregarding traffic signals, criminal mischief, and reckless driving. On April 2nd, 2025, Oklahoma City officers became involved in a pursuit that began in Dell City involving a vehicle occupied by two people. Police were pursuing the vehicle after the occupants fled, while officers also reported that items were being thrown from the vehicle during the chase. >> 349 got a seat belt off. >> Get in. >> Yeah, they're going to take four. The pursuit ended near Pennsylvania and Reno avenues where officers took 34year-old Deshaine Jefferson into custody. A firearm was recovered from the vehicle and Jefferson was already wanted on a felony warrant from Jackson County. He was facing charges for firearm possession as a convicted felon, endangering others while eluding police and flight to avoid arrest in Texas, while the second occupant remained under investigation by Texas Rangers. November 16th, 2024, Arkansas State Police pursued a blue scion after it was reported driving recklessly and forcing other motorists off the road. Trooper Fortune attempted to stop the vehicle as the driver's behavior continued to create a dangerous situation on Interstate 40. >> 902. We are speaking over each other. 62. The driver identified as Hardy was taken into custody and later transported for medical evaluation before being taken to jail. His charges included felony fleeing, criminal mischief, refusal to submit to arrest, disorderly conduct, careless driving, no insurance, improper lane change, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and speeding. On October 15th, 2024, Liilburn police began investigating reports of a white pickup truck following several people from the department headquarters toward a nearby Walmart. Officers identified the vehicle as a white Dodge Ram 350 and attempted to stop its driver near Lawrenville Highway in Arco Road. >> [clears throat] [clears throat] >> You get one of the right. Wait, >> [screaming] >> Thank you. officers pulled in front of him to try to slow him down as they exited the Walmart parking lot on the Lester Road and he gunned it and smashed into the officer's car and from then on it turned into a full-blown pursuit. The captain says shortly after that, another officer tried a pit maneuver to stop the truck. Again, the driver got away, but not before damaging several vehicles along the way. Police eventually arrested and charged the driver, Salvador Torres Manduanu of Nicholls, Georgia. He now faces charges of DUI, aggravated assault on a police officer, and several charges of hit and run. The eventual capture and arrest comes at the help of an alert Gwinet. The driver identified as Salvador Torrs Manduano of Nicholls, Georgia was later located in Norcross with the truck and taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer fleeing and attempting to elude, hit, and run, and numerous traffic offenses. The initial pursuing officer also suffered minor abrasions from his vehicle's airbags. On October 14th, 2025, an Arkansas State Police trooper spotted a blue motorcycle traveling north at a high rate of speed. When the trooper activated the emergency lights and siren for the speeding violation, the rider chose not to stop. 25 going up 71. Blue motorcycles hit by 81.8 264 X-ray. Your bike's messed up. >> I messed up. >> Why'd you run? Just because of that. >> You're driving like crazy. You know what I mean? >> No, it's fine. We're not going to mess with it right now. How do you think your legs are? Can you Oh, you want me to pick you up or the bike? The bike's fine. We're just going to wait for an ambulance to get up here and check you out. Okay. You got any driver's license on you or ID? >> ID. >> Where's it at? On your bike? >> No. >> Don't fish for it right now. We'll wait until the ambulance gets here. You wanted? >> No. >> Well, then why'd you run? Hell, ought to gave you a ticket. That's it. >> That's fine. >> I give people a ticket for that. That's it. >> Well, baby, you ain't going to know till you pull over. Don't do this nonsense. Hell, I could have killed you. There ain't no need to be stupid about it. Just sit right there. >> [music] >> Oh. After the crash, the rider was checked by emergency personnel and later taken into custody after being assessed for minor bruising and swelling. She was booked on charges including driving on a suspended license, speeding more than 15 mph over the limit, and felony fleeing involving serious physical injury. Additional charges included failing to obey a stop sign, reckless driving, and improper motorcycle operation or no certificate. November 13th, 2025, Los Angeles police received a report involving a stolen vehicle setting the investigation in motion. The vehicle was soon located with a young male driver and a female passenger inside, leading officers to attempt a stop. >> Yeah, Chris, great coverage there from Air 7. This is now westbound on Olympic. Mark Codless here and Colleen Sullivan as well on the desk. Uh very dangerous driving. Colleen, we saw when Air7 initially got overhead with Chris. We did see that moment as well when the driver and passenger were out of the car. And Chris, I got to tell you, they looked young, maybe teenagers. Uh so certainly a dangerous situation and I got to assume that maybe that will come into play with police and how they handle this situation. >> Well, they did they did appear young. I mean, they did. They almost appeared to be juvenile age. Um, you know, again, what else they may be wanted for? What other crimes may be associated with these two? Is it simply just a joy ride and a vehicle that does not belong to them? Was it actually stolen from a stranger or was this taken by the parents without permission? You know, those are all some of the uh the questions that we have to ask to decide, you know, how urgently LAPD uh wants to catch up with them. Again, they have information we don't, but the fact that they have re-engaged may tell us something. Now, they did let it go for a reason. They felt like it was just not serious enough or not worth the risk to keep >> channel. And you just want these two to stop the car, give it up because this is just way too dangerous. >> And you I don't know if you saw in that intersection just a moment ago in the crosswalk. Uh Chris, you may have witnessed somebody just starting to run through that crosswalk. They were in the crosswalk, a marked crosswalk, but it looked like they had something. And now you can see this driver is just doing everything it can to get out of the way of these police cars. And it's in oncoming traffic. Oh, going to take a side street. >> And that move was right in front of that Whimo that I was mentioning. So certainly a wild ride, an experience for maybe passengers in these vehicles because you get to certain parts of town and they really are kind of loaded with those cars. Um, very very concerning. You worry so much about pedestrians. It's now after school, so people leaving school in the street. Uh this is definitely an added concern for police uh and the public right now. >> Yeah, especially as he starts zigzagging through this residential neighborhood, much narrower streets, going a little bit slower, but if he picks up steam again, uh he may not feel the pressure right now because he doesn't see that primary unit behind him. But look at him now. He is picking up a little bit of speed here now on South Cannon Drive at Charlotteville. Uh Charlottville Boulevard. Uh continuing northbound now on Canon Drive heading into West Hollywood here adjacent to Beverly Hills and uh LAPD still a distance away here. And you're right, we have seen a large number of Whimos just in the last five or 10 minutes. We're really testing those Whimo reflexes as he cut off that Whimo and then snaked around traffic to find that side street and end up now just a few blocks north on Wilshire Boulevard. Now going eastbound, making a screwy UI on Wilshire. Now going back westbound on Wilshire Boulevard. We're on Wilshire at Canon again. Two suspects inside this car believed to be stolen. LAPD trying to catch up. The airship overhead calling out the location. And look at that black and white. He has been able to make his way up here on Wilshire with backup. There's the airship. a full pursuit package now in place to continue to safely pursue this suspect as long as he is driving at at manageable speeds. Beverly Hills PD also monitoring this pursuit. Uh likely just uh keeping an eye on it as it passes through their jurisdiction, but you can see we're now at a very busy intersection with pedestri. >> Okay, we'll pause as Chris Christie gets his audio connection to us, but uh we are watching this silver Ford sedan uh right there in the middle lanes. Colleen, moments ago, this passed through the Beverly Hills area, now into Westwood on Wilshire and Beverly Glenn right now. Very concerning. What we have right now is a young male driver and a young female in the passenger seat. We saw video earlier when they actually stepped out of the car. And Colleen, these appeared to be juveniles, teenagers. Um, and police right now in pursuit. Again, at one point they did pull back, even stopped tracking the pursuit. They have since within the past few minutes have now re-engaged and of course we are overhead and working to get Chris Christie back connected to us to get his vantage point on what he's seeing. >> Uh Chris, can you hear us now? >> Mark, I've got you. >> Okay, got you. >> Take it from here. You know what are you seeing up here? >> So much of the concern there we saw a moment ago were the crosswalks and the pedestrians out there. >> Yep. coming towards us once again westbound Wilshire Boulevard through Westwood here through the Wilshire corridor. LAPD with a full pursuit package behind the suspect with an airship overhead. However, they have pulled back ever so slightly because of the speeds here. So, he's got a wide open Williser Boulevard after a number of really close calls in very congested traffic. Now, he's encountering a little bit more pavement to play with here. He's using full uh use of those lanes. He's really all over the place as he speeds through uh whatever cars are in his way. He's been blowing through red lights, blowing through stop signs. As we mentioned earlier, there is some damage to this vehicle that we do not know how thatuate this just yet. But in that event, that would be a situation. Looking at him wedge now between a uh is he going to try and jump out here or is he just sandwiched in? He's got some room to play with. I think he can get through here although that mirror might hit. He's Yeah, he's he's trying to avoid coming into contact with that white car. Continuing now on a two-lane Ben Owen Street as he approaches Louise Avenue. Uh if there was a gun in that car, for example, Mark, so let's see if this changes things a little bit. He's doing about 60 miles per hour northbound on White Oak uh coming up on Sherman, but White Oak is not very busy right now. This will be the opportunity that LAPD has. Look at this. Is this an unmarked unit? This might be an unmarked unit that is now getting behind him. It's either an unmarked unit or a complete civilian, but somebody has just pulled up behind him. It does not look like an unmarked unit to be honest with you. Uh, can you pull in on the plate there really quick? Uh, somebody has just Yeah, that is a Florida license plate that has just pulled up behind the suspect. >> It is It is a concerned citizen, I'm being told. Apparently, according to radio traffic, this is a concerned citizen who has just involved themsself in this pursuit. Now, going the opposite way, passing all of those LAPD units going the other way on White Oak Avenue. Now, White Oak, I was about to say, is seeing much less traffic right now. And this would have been the opportunity before he turned around to maybe get up right behind him and apply a little pressure, maybe even uh get a better look inside the vehicle. But now, uh LAPD is further back on White Oak. They're gonna have to make that turn with him after he made that uh parking lot cut through. And now you have an another person, a quote unquote concerned citizen >> who is now following the suspect. This really does change things for law enforcement because they need to pull that person off. They need these people separated. >> Dangerous. It's Look at him crashing up on the curb. He loses control. Crashing up on the curb. The driver out of the driver's side door. a female passenger now running for it. And somebody is chasing them. Somebody is chasing them through this neighborhood down an alleyway off of Hisperia Avenue at Van Owen Street in Rita as he runs down this alleyway putting up his hood here. He's running as fast as he can as he tries to keep his pants up. LAPD now in the alleyway with him with at least three units pulling in there. He's now going to trying to jump on private property. He's not going to have a chance to jump that fence. The LAPD is now going to take him immediately into custody, forcing his hands behind his back here before he even had the chance to jump into that backyard. What a dramatic end to this chase. Finally coming to an end here in Rita. LAPD able to corner the suspect on private property here in an alleyway without anybody getting hurt. You saw him just make the random move. I don't know if he lost control or if he made the conscious decision to just run up on the curb like that, but he decided enough was enough. Decided he can give it up, maybe thinking he could run fast enough. There's the girlfriend. She's being taken into custody and they have to deal with the They're all running back to that vehicle, by the way, to make sure that there's nobody else inside that car. So, they're all going to run as fast as they can back to the vehicle, make sure the vehicle's cleared. But now, they have to sort out who's who here and why other people are getting involved. Now you have other neighbors, concerned citizens coming out to get a look at what's going on. LAPD has to make sure there's nobody else inside the car, either in the front, the back, or the trunk. So, we'll see them uh clear the vehicle momentarily and >> walk go back down below. Uh there was the woman who who got out right there. That's the woman who ran from the SUV. Her sweatshirt almost matches the license plate uh with the rainbow. She has been taken into custody. It had the look of a family member. The way that she chased the young man running from the car, it it appeared to be that she was trying to communicate with him. And now she is being taken into custody for her interference in the situation. Though, it did appear from that shot a moment ago that the vehicle that she was in has also now left the scene. >> Right. And I'm not sure that was the driver that the the driver of that white SUV that just engaged in this pursuit. They were the good Samaritan, if you will, that engaged in this pursuit. That driver had a white short sleeve shirt on, and that that's what I uh viewed. So, again, I don't even know what type of charges somebody would face, but it is so ill- advised to ever participate in a pursuit. Chris, this was again, we saw that this suspect try to get away, try to hop a fence, try to get into a gate. That's why you lock your gates because of something like this. The pursuit eventually ended in REIA where the driver and female passenger were taken into custody along with another person connected to the incident. The two primary suspects were facing potential charges including grand theft autofleeing or evading law enforcement and reckless driving. Additional charges could depend on the investigation into the stolen vehicle and the involvement of the other individuals. On August 6th, 2023, Greenfield police attempted to stop a driver who refused to pull over. The refusal quickly turned a routine traffic stop into a high-speed pursuit through Greenfield and Milwaukee. [screaming] You're recording. I still get him. area. We can smash if we need to. I'll go on the other side. The driver could potentially have faced charges such as fleeing or eluding an officer reckless driving and property damage. Any additional charges would depend on the police investigation and circumstances surrounding the crash. On July 26th, 2022, Walton County Deputy Bowling spotted Christopher Deon riding a motorcycle with no visible tag in Georgia. A routine traffic stop quickly turned into a pursuit when Deon refused to pull over and accelerated away. June 9th, 2022, an Arkansas State Police trooper stopped a female driver after observing signs of dangerous and erratic driving on the highway. Additional charges could also apply based on the investigation and the amount of alcohol involved. One evening on I 6:30 near Fair Park, Arkansas, state police trooper Borrow stopped a driver for speeding and defective tail lamps. The driver then refused repeated orders to step out, turning a routine traffic stop into a dispute over the troopers authority. Hey >> man, going state police, I pulled you over for two reasons.
