[Music] on December 20th 2021 around 6 50 p.m the San Antonio Police Department received a 9-1-1 call for a missing child in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Road and an apartment complex [Music] immediately when we received the call and there was a lot of resources that went to the scene that night including calling in our federal partners with the FBI who made the scene that night a lot of people went door to door in the complex looking for her talking to people that we could talk to to see if anyone saw anything there was hundreds of sapd officers detectives FBI agents that were on scene continuing to look for her continuing going door to door and then expanding our search into the neighboring apartment complex we were able to retrieve a surveillance video from a resident at that apartment complex the video overlooked the playground in the complex where many of the children were playing that day that video did capture Lena playing on the playground she was with her mother and her younger brother at some point during the video she walked off the screen and that was the last sighting that we have of her on video obviously we haven't found Lena it has been a investigator as a missing person and missing child to be more specific and to be honest they are suspicious circumstances based on the child's age the fact that we have not found uh any evidence to indicate where she's at and other than where she was last at we've received hundreds of leads that we have followed up on we've partnered with other local state and federal law enforcement agencies to follow up on all the leads unfortunately none of the leads we've received have led us to finding Lena there is a critical witness Somewhere Out There that person that knows some but something needs to come forward and disclose what's important to know is that none of the leads we've received to this point have led us to finding Lena and that's our ultimate goal is to find Lena until she's found no person and no Theory can be ruled out on what happened to her we believe that children don't just vanish Into Thin Air and if that person that saw something that knows something if that person has not come forward it's not too late to do so and we implore that they do [Music]
