Authorities are still searching for two additional suspects who may have played a role in the burglary that sparked it all. Just after midnight on June 5th, 2021, Savannah police received a flock camera alert about a wanted black Dodge Charger linked to multiple previous flight incidents. Troopers confirmed it was the same vehicle that had fled from several stops earlier that week. Charges include felony fleeing and eluding, reckless endangerment, hit and run, and possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. On April the 5th, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., a tense situation unfolded when a man tried to ram a Blackhawk County deputy off the road after blowing through a roadblock. The deputy gave chase as the suspect's erratic driving put countless motorists at risk. Deputies moved in and arrested him at gunpoint without further resistance. He now faces multiple charges, including assault on a peace officer, fleeing and eluding, and criminal damage to property. What started as a blatant act of aggression quickly backfired, landing the driver behind bars. On March 8th, 2024, a judicial drug task force agent in West Memphis notified Arkansas State Police about an active pursuit of a federal fugitive barreling toward Interstate 40. The suspect had already rammed law enforcement vehicles and tried to force others off the road as trooper Darren Evans joined the chase speeds climbed past 100 mph as officers worked to contain the danger. >> All right, tell somebody shooters get out of the way now. Morgan told investigators she pleaded with Block to stop, but he refused. Block now faces serious charges, including felony fleeing, reckless driving, speeding over the limit, and driving on a suspended license. The pursuit underscored the immense risk officers take when dealing with fugitives who refuse to surrender. On a sunny day in Arkansas, tragedy struck along Interstate 40 in North Little Rock when a U-Haul truck slammed into a concrete support pillar. Within moments, flames engulfed the vehicle as bystanders rushed in to help. Two people were pulled from the burning wreckage by brave witnesses and officers before emergency crews arrived. oil. Authorities from multiple agencies investigated the cause with the highway partially shut down for hours. It was a somber reminder that a single mistake on the road can forever change countless lives. On September 15th, 2024, just before noon, Arkansas State Police engaged in a high-speed pursuit that reached speeds exceeding 100 mph. Troopers worked quickly to end the dangerous chase before it entered a populated area. The suspect's driving pushed the limits of control, weaving through traffic until troopers initiated a tactical maneuver to stop [music] the threat. Boy, I'm public service 35. 1037. Officers rushed to the man's aid, providing medical care while waiting for paramedics to arrive. He was later transported to the hospital in critical condition and faces numerous charges once medically cleared. In the early hours of February 1st, 2024, a stolen vehicle spotted by Irving police in Texas led to one of the year's most devastating chases. Officers attempted to stop the car near Beltline Road, but the driver sped away toward Dallas, unaware that the night would end in tragedy. Within minutes, the pursuit reached the elevated ramps of Interstate 35, where the driver lost control. Get off the radio. >> He just went over. He just went over. Crash underneath massive fire. >> I think this is a 35 underneath the fly over. >> Copy. Just went over massive fire. Went over. >> People dead after an overnight police chase that wound from Irving all the way to Dallas. We are now getting our first look at what happened with new dash cam video that was just released this afternoon by Irving PD. But it's also at the same time raising some fresh concerns about police department chase policies. Our Robbie Owens has spent the day for you asking questions. She's in Dallas tonight still waiting on answers. >> Sources tell us that it could be sometime this evening before the four people who died here will be officially identified. Of course, we also have questions for the Irving Police Department, including whether the department's chase policy was followed. >> You know, officers are required to constantly monitor the situation as they're in a pursuit of a vehicle. Uh I will say that time goes fast or it seems like it goes fast in a pursuit, but it's their job to make sure that they're being safe at all times. >> The vehicle went over the side of the ramp, crashing below and erupting in flames. All four occupants were pronounced gone at the scene. The victims were later identified as Sabria Lacy Anthony Lisbon, Deavian Ober, and Robert Gowens Jr. The crash reignited public debate over police pursuit policies as records revealed Irving officers had engaged in more than 500 chases in recent years, many reaching dangerous speeds. On July 22nd, 2025, an Arkansas State Police trooper monitoring traffic along Interstate 40 near the 282 mile marker clocked a gray Nissan Alultima, speeding well over the limit. When the trooper activated his lights and siren, the driver only pressed harder on the accelerator, pushing the car past 100 mph. The trooper called for backup as the pursuit streaked across the bridge. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Say TV on the bridge. TV on the bridge. >> Hands. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. GET OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP. DO IT NOW. GET OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP. DO IT NOW. GET OUT. UNBUCKLE. Get out with your hands up. >> TURN AROUND. WALK BACKWARDS TO ME. >> Get on the ground. The driver identified as John Black was eventually taken into custody and evaluated at a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Troopers detected clear signs of intoxication, and Black later admitted to having been drinking after leaving a casino. He was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and fleeing from law enforcement. The chase ended without serious injury. Fortunately, on January the 17th, 2021, a Georgia State Patrol trooper conducting speed enforcement on Interstate 85 clocked a black Jeep traveling at 89 mph. When the trooper activated his lights, the driver appeared to slow, but then suddenly accelerated away, weaving through traffic at over 100 mph. The pursuit continued toward a more congested area, forcing the trooper to act before conditions worsened. 273° 298 273° 298 85 pound 32 black Cherokee with Pennsylvania 3076 right now. After the chase concluded, the driver identified as 18-year-old Ryan Patrick Johnston was taken into custody. He claimed he never saw the patrol car behind him and denied drinking, though officers noted the odor of alcohol and discovered an unopened vodka bottle inside the vehicle. Johnston was charged with felony fleeing and reckless driving. The incident was captured on dash cam and later used to emphasize how quickly youthful arrogance can lead to serious consequences. And that brings this wild chase to a close. But it's only one of countless pursuits caught on camera. The next video dives even deeper into what happens when drivers push their luck against the law. Don't miss it. Make sure to check it out right after this one. It's already waiting for you. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe for more real life pursuit footage.
