Why are you guys on the side of the road? Watch out. Hey, watch out. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. gate is heat. LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. [screaming] LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. >> LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. >> DON'T LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. >> Where's your seat belt? Anything in the car I need to be aware of? >> Oh, no. >> No. [snorts] >> My dog. >> No. Where your seat bel? >> Where's your seat belt? Take off your seat belt. Take it off. Don't try anything stupid. >> Do not try anything dumb. Okay. Take it off. >> Oh, this shirt hurts. >> Get out. Get out through the window. >> Do you need ambulance? Turn around. Turn around. >> Get a 55 out. >> 247 Vegas. Can we get a 55? I'm going to search you. Okay. Make sure you don't have anything on you. >> Right here. You have anything on you I should be aware of? No. What were you guys doing over there? >> What's this? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> My eyes hurt. >> Okay. I'm going to get you checked out. Okay. I have the ambulance on their way. Okay. >> All right. >> All right. So, I'm going to have you do me a favor. Go ahead and just sit down in there right now. >> Okay. [ __ ] You don't have anything on you that I should be aware of. For real? No. >> All right. I'm going to try to help you out, man. Okay. But I need you to be cool with me. Okay. >> All right. >> All right, brother. I'm going to try to help you out. What's your name? >> Michaela. >> Michaela. What are you guys doing over here? >> I'm busy homies. >> Okay. Just sit tight with you. Okay. >> Here. Can you What the [ __ ] >> Calling. That's calling 202. Go ahead. >> Go ahead. And they're the ambulance is on their way. Okay. >> What leg? The one that's hurting. >> Your right or your left? >> Your left one? >> Gas station. Can you confirm? >> We'll be at the Romero gas station on the um overpass. Richard Flores was taken into custody after officers determined he was wanted and learned more about the circumstances surrounding the vehicle and its occupants. He acknowledged prior smuggling related charges and being a convicted felon who was prohibited from possessing a firearm. Investigators also questioned him about suspected narcotics and weapons connected to the vehicle. Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, authorities were pursuing a Range Rover after Santa Monica police identified the driver as a possible murder suspect. The pursuit moved through Los Angeles as officers attempted to keep track of a driver they believed could be connected to a serious violent crime. >> Continue to keep going east and the CP will just continue to follow him. Right. >> Uh yeah, that's going to be the case in a situation like this. It doesn't look like, excuse me, it doesn't look like they would be able to do anything like a spike strip in a situation like this. You certainly could not do a pit maneuver at these types of speeds. So, that's pretty much out of the question. Uh, a spike strip could be possible, but it'd be very difficult. Would you have this much volume on the roadway to try and throw a spike strip out when that vehicle came by? Um, so I doubt we're going to see that. But at this point in time, Whoa, look at that. Holy cow. So, that is so dangerous. get off the freeway. Um, this is uh let's see what street this is going to be. It's going to come off on a major, maybe Garfield. I'm not sure. Uh, St. Gabriel Boulevard, but boy, that was close, Tony. And you see CHP, they are not going to let this guy go. You got a murder suspect. They're not going to back off completely. Uh, they want to take this suspect into custody. And what's really sad, Tony, is situations like that. >> This is San Gabriel Boulevard, it looks like, at this point. >> Correct. We're on San Gabriel Boulevard. We're headed south down into Whittian Neros. We left the 10. We're headed down towards the 60. If that gives you a little perspective, but from what I've seen in the past, when you have a suspect that's this dangerous, excuse me, this desperate, it's extremely dangerous, uh, we've seen him make some extremely abrupt turns. It looks like he has no indication that he's going to pull over or slow down or anything like that. And that makes these situations extremely dangerous. And they usually don't end well. When you have a suspect in a vehicle like that, that's a heavy vehicle. It's a Range Rover. It's probably, I don't know, five or 6 thousand pounds. And there's a lot of inertia, a lot of momentum with that vehicle. If it runs into another car, somebody can be seriously injured or killed very, very quickly. Seeing high rates of speed, and we're seeing the vehicle continues southbound on San Gabriel Boulevard at Paramount, and basically it's going to run, the individual is going to run into the 60 freeway here in a moment. Oh my goodness, that was close. Oh, >> I almost would have ended it. If you would have ran into that pole, I would have stopped him. Oh, they slowed down. Looks like they're doing the pit maneuver. They're going to try and push him. And now if they could stop him, the officers are out with their guns drawn. They've got him pinned with that door. And boy, it looks like they're going to be able to take him into custody. Be careful here, though. If that suspect reaches for a weapon, they will open fire. There's no question about that. And they have the suspect down and in custody. So, wow. Fortunately, nobody got hurt. But look at the way they are swarming that suspect. They knew they had an individual they were very concerned about. He almost lost control of that vehicle and ran into a light pole and CHP was able to pin the door. Perfect timing. Pin the door, the driver's side door, so the suspect couldn't get out. Then they rushed him quickly, yanked him out of the vehicle and it looks like this ended without incident. So that's fantastic because I was really worried following this that some innocent person was going to get hurt or killed. >> Yeah. Like a best case scenario ending to a pursuit that was reaching speeds 105, 110 plus miles an hour. I mean >> Yeah. Yeah. Great to see it end like this. Again, if you're joining us, this was a Santa Monica murder suspect that they were pursuing and we possibly Yeah. And we reported on that murder uh yesterday. It was an overnight murder that happened going into Monday morning and the suspect was uh at large still. So, we're obviously going to reach out to Santa Monica police, get more information on this as well as the CHP as they have that driver on the ground there off of what is this? Paramount Boulevard at this point. >> Going to I don't see that we're going to have extremely heavy delays of traffic in the area, but Paramount will be blocked for a while. And boy, what a perfect ending to what was an extremely dangerous pursuit where they able to pin him in with that patrol car and then yank him out of the passenger side door. All right, Scott, thank you so much for that. We got to head [music] to commercial break, but we'll be back with an update on this. >> The driver was eventually taken into custody without anyone being seriously injured in the final encounter. The suspect was expected to face investigation and potential charges connected to the reported murder along with any additional offenses established from the pursuit. Authorities were also expected to continue investigating whether the driver was connected to the Santa Monica case mentioned during the broadcast. A daytime traffic stop in Hernando County, Florida began when a Florida Highway Patrol trooper observed a black Nissan Maxima speeding and driving erratically near State Road 50. Instead of pulling over when emergency lights were activated, the driver accelerated away, sending officers after the vehicle. information >> [screaming] >> Go. You got it. Everybody else in this My name is Well, 313. Can you verify your 1015? He's going to Oklahoma. He's probably at 140. I don't catch up to him. We just entered Oklahoma. He's half a mile ahead. They let another trap. It's a red sports bike, white tail, black shirt. He doesn't have a 28 on it. I caught up to him. Now he's taking back off. Probably just every time I hit the brakes, my fronts are on. Dude, just pull over. Pull over. We're not going to stop. Just pull over. It's not worth crashing out and dying. Just stop. All right, we're still down to 48. He's got his hazards on. I was yelling at him on the PA to stop. So, we're still westbound. Speed 60. Please stop. Just stop. Stop. >> There you go. Please. All right. I am southbound on South Ashro. Yeah, like he's going to stop and he's back off. We're on a pretty bumpy road, so I may crash out soon. All right, now we're on a gravel road up there for somebody's house at 21001 South Ash. He's driving behind the house in the field. Hey, you better stop. I already know your name. I already know who you are. Just stop. You got enough? Okay. Eastbound on Ash. Oh, what an idiot. Still East Battle Ash speeds are pretty windy road and he's crashing into the woods. >> You all right? Are you okay? Let me see your hands. Are you all right? Hey, let me see both of your hands, please. Brother, let me see both your hands. I'm >> trying. I think my broken. >> Okay, just stay there. >> Okay, >> Smith, if you have me on the map, get a 1016er out. >> Do what? >> Here. Are you on the phone? >> Hey, no weapons on you, >> sir. >> Okay. What's hurting? >> Uh, left wrist is uh broken. >> Left wrist is broken. >> Uh, I'm not sure yet. >> Okay. What are you running for? Just to do it. >> I >> here. Let me see your wrist real quick. I got an am that's coming to check on you. Okay. >> Okay. >> Let me see your wrist here. >> I'm not going. No. Can we not do that? You got to put a cup on that. >> Well, it it you think it's broken? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. in my back pocket. Let me reach for that now. >> Oh, kind of. >> Yeah, let's go. You'll just come up here in my bumper. >> Are you still recording? >> Yeah, I haven't even made it back to my car yet. I was trying to get him out of the woods. We can stop it. Is that your phone? >> Yes. Who >> were you on the phone with? My phone. >> Were they riding with you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Zth Cameron Gole was arrested after the motorcycle pursuit ended and was transported for treatment before being taken to the Leaf Floor County Jail.
