I know it sound crazy, man, but I did not do this. >> I think I'm being set up being un Hold on, sir. I'm Sir, please. The man making this detective's blood pressure spike is Ronald Davis, a career criminal, now the prime suspect in the killing of 85year-old Lucy Curl. Throughout this interview, Ronald will make detectives cringe. >> CSI. >> God damn. Is that serious? >> TV. while he desperately tries to convince them that he is not a dumb criminal. >> One thing about it, I'm not a dumb criminal. >> But fortunately, the only thing lower than Ronald's crimes is his IQ. Because very soon, detectives will trick him into a confession. All because of one crucial piece of evidence Ronald left behind. >> Interesting enough, we found your wallet. >> That's my wallet. >> That is your wallet. Here's a closeup of it with your ID. I mean, this make me look like I'm a a mass murder on somebody, man. >> And before she went into a medically induced coma, she gave a damn good description of the person who did it. >> On January 31st, 2025, Pastor Bill Curl arrived at his home in Orlando, Florida to the sound of a car horn blaring in his garage. Concerned, he walked inside where he discovered his wife of 64 years, 85-year-old Lucy Curl, laying on the horn, incapacitated. She was quickly rushed to the hospital where, in and out of consciousness, she told police what had happened. A man, claiming to be a community service officer, knocked on her door and asked to come inside. Mrs. Curl opened the door for him where he immediately overpowered her. She fought back, but he was ruthless. After the horrific beating, she managed to drag herself into the garage and lay on the horn of her vehicle, hoping that it would alert her neighbors. Sadly, it was several hours before her husband returned and found her. But it wasn't long before detectives had the name of their suspect. Because inside the home, they discovered a wallet belonging to 55year-old Ronald Dwayne Davis, a career criminal with dozens of charges under his belt. They found him sleeping in a nearby shed where he lived and brought him in for questioning. The following footage has been provided to us by the Orlando Police Department. >> You understand your rights? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> Home invasion robbery. >> Yes. Home invasion robbery. >> Okay. That's what the That's what one of the charges is. >> One of the charges. >> Yes, sir. The others we'll cover in a minute and we'll we'll get to those as we talk some more. But there are three total charges right now. Okay? And we I will cover them as we speak. But here's my thing. Earlier you told me, you know, your story of where you were yesterday. >> Let's start over. >> Yesterday. >> Well, being it's been a whole night to only day. >> Yesterday. >> Let's start over with yesterday. >> Okay. >> What did you do yesterday? >> I went to the store twice. I went one time in the morning and then I went one time by 5:30 or 6:00 >> again to sit court at sick court there we buy some beer I had a receipt tabs and everything so that's that was my movement and I just stayed home with the fell we we were in the back we played with the kids we drunk beer and we hung out a little bit and that's what my movements was for yesterday. >> What kind of beer did you buy? >> Nacha Ice. >> When did you buy the beer? The first time or second time? >> I bought Well, I bought the beer both times. That's why I went to the store. I went to the store 5:30 or Well, it was like early in the morning and then I went to the store again like 6:30 6:00. >> Is there like a time like like some places they don't sell beer before? No. Feel me? Some places they don't sell beer before like 10:00 in the morning. Is there a specific time like kind of we can narrow it down a little bit like a time? >> This store here do that. I mean, whatever. >> I go like, okay, in the morning I said it had to be like >> 8:00 cuz my wife go to work at 8. >> Okay. >> You know what I mean? So, this store open. I can get up like 7:30 and the store be open. And the only time they don't sell like on the weekend like you know stuff like that. >> Who' you buy? Who went with you to the store? >> My wife Diane. >> I thought she had to go to work >> 8:00 but she didn't work yesterday. She was off yesterday. >> So once you came back or I should say once you bought your beer, where'd you go? >> I went back home. I went back to my house from the gas station to my house. >> When you went back there the first time in the morning, what what did you guys do? >> We didn't do nothing. We just I mean we come out the first time, right? We didn't do nothing. We just sat around, chill, and drank beer. >> Okay. Um, between you getting back that first time and then later in the evening when you said you went and got more beer, uh, what did you do? >> Come back home. >> Did you go anywhere? >> The second time come back home. We get the beer. We go in the backyard, the kids out there. We playing our music and we just chilling out, hanging out between family times. That's but that's exactly my movements. >> Okay. So, you didn't go you didn't leave at all between the first time and second time. I was with my family the whole day yesterday. >> Um, who bought the beer both times? >> I did. I bought the beer. >> You bought the beer? >> Yes, sir. >> How' you How'd you buy the beer? >> You just went in the store and bought the beer >> with what? >> I mean, with my money. I went in the store and bought some beer. >> Like, did you go with your bank card? Did you go with your cash? Did you go with a check? >> Cash. Cash. Cash. Cash. My bad. I didn't have a bank card because my wallet got stolen and my bank card was in my wallet with my along along with my ID and stuff like that. So, I didn't have I had used cash. >> Going back to your wallet real quick, I know you mentioned it was stolen about three and a half weeks ago. >> Um, your bank was truest bank. >> It's truest. >> Is that the bank account your mom set up for you? >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, who deposits money into that bank account? >> Either my mom or either my sister Kathy. Okay. Um, so your mom or your sister Kathy? Kathy I spoke to there at at the house. >> It's my sister. >> Okay. Um, so either one of those do. Who has access to the money in that account like to take it out? >> I guess me, uh, my mom, uh, Kathy, cuz those only three people that supposed to be over my bank account. My mom, my sister. >> You know, >> to your knowledge, does anyone but you take money out of that account? Not to my knowledge. Okay. >> I mean, like I say, my my wallet got stolen, but >> it's incredible how many criminals just so happen to lose their wallet right before their arrest. But Ronnie Boy here shouldn't fret because police have found it for him. And it even still has his mommy's money inside. But where they found the wallet, well, it's less than ideal for him. >> Your mom puts money in there for you? >> My mom put money in for >> Your sister puts money in there for you. and my sister. >> They wouldn't take it out, would they? >> Uh, no. No, I don't. No, they ain't going to say. No. No. >> Okay. And And in order to take the money out, you have to use your bank card. Yes. >> You have to use a bank card. >> When's the last time you used your bank card? >> Well, to be honest with you, uh, I haven't used a bank card. Um, it had to be over money. It had to be right over 100. >> So, how do you get that? How do you get cash? >> First of all, my wife work at Marriott. My wife is a supervisor at Marriott. She been working there for 20 years. >> That's good. >> I got a very supportive family. >> That's awesome. >> All right. That's how I get my money. My people look out for me. My people My family support me if I need something. So, I really don't want for nothing. I'm not hurt for anything. >> But listen to what I asked. Your mom and your sister put money into your bank account and that's a way to get money out is through a bank card like a debit card or an ATM card, right? >> Yes. >> But you said you bought the beer with cash and you >> basically buy things with cash. How do you get that cash? If if they're putting money in the bank, >> well it's it's it's simple like this. Okay, I can go to my nephew, hey man, give me $20, bro. He going to give me $20. If I go to my wife, give me $20, baby. She going to give me $20. Okay. >> So that's, you know, that's basically how >> we going because we it's family, you know what I mean? >> And uh >> just a reminder, this man is 54 years old. >> You know, I respect that. You know, like I said, I respect what y'all doing and everything like that, but >> I really don't know what's going on. >> We're getting we're getting there. >> I promise you we're getting there. Um, so when's the last time you checked your bank account or how would you check your bank account to see how much money's in there with money's coming out, all that kind of stuff? >> Well, my mom did come to me. She told me, she say, "Uh, listen." She say, "The bank called me and you've been you don't took $500 at your account." I said, I tell her, "Mama, I did not take $500 off my account." She said, "I wonder how in the world you going to have be able to take $500 out your account and you ain't even must have the cart because I told you my cart was stolen." >> When did she call you and tell you that? >> This was uh maybe uh maybe about a month ago. about about a month ago. If that. >> Okay. So, you're saying about a month ago she said you took out $500 if it's been a month ago. Yeah. Okay. Um, with your wallet, >> what color was it? >> Black. >> Black. >> It was a black wallet. >> Was it a a trifold or a biffold? Like you So, like a biffold would be something that just kind of folds in half. A trifold is like got three things that fold together. >> No, it was straight wallet. >> Just like fold in half and boom, biffold. >> Gotcha. Um, what all was in that wallet? Black wallet. It was my ID card, a piece of paper, a brown like a paper bag with um a phone number somewhere. And then it was my bank card. I had another um >> your truest bank card. >> Yes. And I had um I had a couple more cards for my doctor's office and stuff like that. >> Okay. Do you remember what phone number? Whose phone number was written on that piece of paper? >> Whose phone number? Oh, yes. I think I do. This was a chick that I met uh she from um I think she from Atlanta and she had to go back to Atlanta, but she knew my people and we just had to meet up at the you know. So I asked I said, "Hey man, I said that's pretty cool. Can I get your phone number?" I said, "I'mma tell the boys, you know, man, that I seen you." So, I got a phone number and I stuck it in my wallet. I remember I stuck it in my wallet. >> Interesting enough, we found your wallet. >> Okay. >> We found your wallet. You know where we found your wallet? >> No, sir. >> I'm going to show you a picture of where we found your wallet. See how it's in this little corner? >> That's my wallet. That's my wallet. >> That is your wallet. Here's a closeup of it with your ID, your driver's license, identification card right there. Yes, sir. >> Your truest bank card laying on. Oh, I got that's the that's the paper, but I got my bank card in there. Is my bank card supposed to be in there? >> And is that that brown piece of paper you're talking about? >> That's the brown piece of paper. Yes, sir. >> So, your ID, the brown piece of paper, your truest bank card. >> I had like $400 in my uh wing. >> All that's inside all that. But I'm I'm not talking about the cash yet, but the the the ID, the little brown piece of paper, the phone number, and the truest bank card or you can see those right there, right? >> Yes. >> So, that's your wallet, right? >> That is my wallet. It's in the corner of this this house right here. >> Yes, sir. >> On the floor right here. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, that vault was found today >> inside this house. >> I have no idea of that, sir. And I thank you for finding my wallet, but I swear for Jesus in heaven. I have nothing. I do. My car was stolen. My my wallet was stolen about three weeks, three and a half weeks ago, if that. And my phone right up there to the gas station. And >> Ronald, >> that's what's going on, sir. >> Ronald. Yes, sir. >> Listen to me. I've been honest with you. >> You sure have. >> And I've been respectful. >> You sure have. >> And you've been kind of respectful to me. >> I'm trying to be >> But listen, respect, sir. >> Respect includes honesty. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> If you think I'm a chump, >> I can't. >> I can't. I want I can't. >> Then stop lying to me. >> I'm not lying. I'm giving it to you, BL. I'm giving to you just how it is. That is my wallet. I'm a men to you. That is my wallet. >> I I I know. I know it is. I mean, your ID is in it. >> Was stolen about three and a half weeks ago, three weeks ago or something like that there. And that's that's that's the god heaven truth. I went to the store and I bought one time. I bought a fourack. Then I went to the store that evening by 5:30 or 6:00 and I bought four pack and two more beers which make a six-pack because they don't sell the whole six-packs. They say you got you got to buy a fourack or either a 12-pack. I know how you >> So she gave me a fourack and two more beers. And when I got ready to pay for the stuff, I get my money and my phone, set it on the counter. I pay the people. They carry the plastic bag from up front on the counter. I take the plastic bag, put the beer in bag, and I forget all about my wallet sitting right on the damn store. Turn right out the damn store with my wallet in here and my phone. >> And you didn't call the police to report it? >> I didn't know that it was gone until I went home. So when I got home, being honest with you, I must have sat around and me and my wife, we we sat in the room for maybe a hour before I even know it was gone. >> But but when I sat when I sat up and I said, "Damn, baby." I said, "Hold on, my wallet gone." I went back up to the sit co to to the store to the gas station and I asked the guy and I said, "Excuse me, sir." I said, "Oh, you see a phone? we see a phone on wallet up here. He said, "No, I ain't seen no phone no wallet up here." But I know the guy that was behind me, he was a black guy with dreads. And I know if he come out to the clerk say that he ain't see my wallet s the dude behind me, he know he the one whoever he got. You can check with handprints or something. He the one got my goddamn wallet. >> That is ridiculous. Why would I want to do something like that and leave my wallet there? That's that. Come on, man. >> I don't think you intentionally left the >> I didn't do it by mistake either because I didn't do it. >> Ronald, relax and listen to me. >> I don't understand. It just make me I understand. Respect, sir. It just make me hypo because I know this is my wallet, but I I didn't have nothing to do with no home invasion robbery. I don't No, I didn't do that. I've been out of prison since >> January June 11th. >> I know. >> No problems. >> No problems. here. And now here we go with this. >> But but here's the thing. Listen, >> I don't believe you. >> And neither should anyone with even half a brain cell to their name. The most miraculous part of this isn't just that Ronald left his wallet at the scene of a robbery and murder. It's how he likely lost it. Because when great-g grandandmother Lucy realized that he was a lowown liar, she fought back hard. So hard that Ronald's wallet flew out of his pocket and onto her floor. In a lot of ways, Lucy was the one to help detectives find Ronald. And now he's going to help her by putting dirt on top of himself in the grave that she dug him. >> The wallet is in this house. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> The wallet is >> And where I mean, >> I'm going to show you in a second. >> Okay. >> Okay. I promise you I'm going to get to that. Yes, sir. >> I I like to I like to just kind of work on each segment as we go through. Okay. >> It's easier to go piece by piece instead of just slamming everything on the table. >> All right. Um, but your wallet is in this house. Everything is exactly where you said it was at in the wallet. So, like, come on. Let's be real. If someone stole your wallet, >> I know what was Don't you know what's in your pocket right now? >> I dang sure do. >> Just like my wallet. I know what was in my wallet. I had $40 in my wallet. >> Someone stole my stuff. They're probably going to be using my stuff and they're going to be My bank card is gonna be missing. They're going to ditch my wallet fast. They ain't gonna keep my wallet. My wallet ain't worth crap. But the items in it are, right? The cash money was in it. The bank cards in it, right? The ID and stuff. They throw all that away. Let's be real. You You did time. You know, you know, they sent you the wallet. But you keep the cash, >> sir. That was I swear that's my wallet was stole like three and a half weeks ago. >> But you never reported it. And your mom even said you took >> to the store because they can't use my bank card. They don't know my PIN number. >> Then how did somebody take $500 out of your account? >> That's what my mom said. I know that I didn't pull no $500 out my account. You can call the bank and have them to bring a bank statement up. I I know in my heart and my soul I did not pull no $500 in my account. But my mom said tell me this. >> Yeah. >> We'll set aside this for a quick second. >> Yes, sir. >> Did you give your old lady Diane some jewelry today? >> I didn't give her no jewelry. She got her own stuff. >> That's funny cuz you know what she told me? The three rings she had on, you gave to her today. >> I didn't give her no rings today. >> I didn't give her no rings. She got >> You got any jewelry inside your uh little house there? >> I got my stuff. My my little jewelry and it's just just sill. But that's that's you know what I mean? I don't I don't I don't have >> Do you have any Do you collect anything? >> I I might being honest with I might buy something from you know the street that I you know mess with a little bit. Well, what's up, boy? Come on to me, boy. I got this here for sale. If I got it and if it's nice and I want it, I'm going to pay for it on my street house. You know that. >> Well, I totally understand. I respect that. >> You got to you got to earn the money, make money, help me, you know, whatever you got to do. >> But I don't hurt nobody, right? >> Yeah. I don't I don't I don't do that. My life is over with, man. I went through hell part of my life, man. >> Listen, listen to me. She had on three rings today. She had three rings on. Three rings that she said you gave to her today. this afternoon or yesterday technically. Okay, that's what she told us. >> And she told you a lie because that is I did not give her no jewelry and that is her jewelry. >> Then answer me this when I ask you about collecting stuff. >> I'm not talking about collecting jewelry, necklace, anything like that. You collect anything else like any other specialty kind of items like some people collect stamps, >> some people collect uh coins, some people collect um cars, some people collect uh I mean I wish I could collect cars. That's a lot of money. Um, but you know, some people collect magazines, you know. Do you collect anything unique? >> I have no cl I do not collect unless I just be walking or riding and I see something that somebody got something to say. I say, "Oh I'm get this. I'm hold on." You know what I mean? >> When's the last time you did that? >> I had a weed eater. Last time was a weed eater. >> You bought it sold. >> No, Buddy had some stuff on the side of the road, but he was moving out. You know what I'm saying? And he said, "Man, if you help me move this here, you can have all this little in here." So that's how I got the weed eaters. >> How long ago was that? >> Um, not long ago. >> You don't collect anything else then? >> Does your wife collect anything? >> I have no idea what she doing her side, but not as I know. I mean, she find all kinds of little goodies when she come. But look what I found at work. Look what I found at the birthday. You know what I mean? >> She didn't go to work today though, right? >> She didn't go to work today >> or yesterday. I guess I still still in this whole loop yesterday. >> Um, so she didn't go to work yesterday. So she didn't bring home anything special yesterday. >> No, none. No, not to my knowledge. She been with me all day yesterday. We was together all day yesterday. >> You see any any jewelry boxes or any that kind of stuff inside where you live? Your shed. >> She's a woman. It's a lot of family. Yeah, it's jewelry boxes in I mean >> What about coins? Collector coins that are like in little packages. I found some. Uh I I man I Yeah, I got I got all kinds of little Tinker toys. I need a little Let's see if you recognize any of this stuff. You recognize that jewelry box? >> Yeah. Yeah, I do. >> How do you recognize it? >> That's a That's a That's her jewelry box. Who is your box? >> My wife's je box. It's not my je box. That's my wife j. It's what she keep her stuff at. >> Okay. What about these coins, man? She probably had them things up for so long. And that's being honest with you, man. She probably had them so long. You know, if they was coin, don't you think they would have been spent, but I know they were one. >> Well, these fancy coins right here are from England. They're like a collector's style coin. Um, Queen Elizabeth, you know, Queen Elizabeth is. >> That's what that's that's who like those coins are about. Weird thing is this is the weird thing which I'm I'm interested in hearing what you have to say on this. These coins >> belong to the guy who lives in this house where your wallet was found with his wife. >> Well, I I have nothing about this house. I know nothing about this house. Only thing I know that that is my wallet. >> That's my wallet. >> Mhm. But this coins, I don't know nothing about no coins. >> Mrs. Curl and her husband lived in England for nearly two decades, where the couple got into collecting British coins. They kept them in a case, a case which was emptied in the robbery where Lucy's life was tragically taken. Not only have police found those coins in Ronald's house, but they've also found all of the jewelry that was stolen from Mrs. Curl's jewelry box. And where did they find it? On Ronald's wife's wrist, neck, and fingers. She was, and I don't use this word lightly, totally dripped out in a dead woman's jewelry. Naturally, Ronald would have given that to her without telling her, probably hoping to earn himself some brownie points. But he probably should have been more worried about the big house than the dog house. >> These coins were in this house. >> So, by me having by me having the coins made me break in this house or whatever I had to do to get in this house. >> I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is >> your wallet >> Yes. >> is in this house. >> Okay. >> Where these coins were just stolen from. >> All right. >> And in this house yesterday, the continuation of where we are right now, there was a home invasion in which a person forced their way in, okay, and ended up stealing these coins and some jewelry. And it just so happens that these coins, the owner, the husband of the lady that lives in this house says, "Yep, those are mine. I just saw those the other day. They were in my office. Top right shelf." >> Man, it can't be. I don't understand how can she I know she had these and we It was in a little drawer. It was just open drawer. It just throw little stuff in there. And I You don't pay no attention to stuff when you really out there like that. You don't do that. >> I know it sound crazy, man. But I did not do this. I'm not I can't admit to you like that, >> Ronald. Ronald, listen. >> Mother, look. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> It's not making sense to me. It's not making sense to anyone. >> I know, but >> your wallet is found in the house where these things were just taken from in a home invasion. >> Yeah. >> Where the lady, the the husband and wife that live in this house, >> they've been married for 64 years. >> Yeah. She is 85 years old. >> The husband is a pastor at First Baptist Church right there. John Young, the big massive church. >> He's a pastor at that church. >> Yesterday, >> yesterday he's a grief counselor. >> He was with families who had just lost their loved one and he was providing grief counseling to those families while his wife was at home getting ready to go get her hair done. And then somebody knocked on the door, beat on the door, forced their way in. and then hurt her and then stole their stuff. That's someone right there. Left their wallet inside. >> No. So, let me ask you. No, I didn't do this, sir. I can't tell you and look you in your eyes and say that I did this because I didn't do this. That is my wallet. And I'm telling you the truth. Yesterday, I was with my wife and my family all day. Yesterday I went to the store twice. One time in the morning I got a fourack of beer. The second time I went back it was like 5:30 or 6:00. I bought a fourack of beer and two beers which made me have a six-pack because the lady didn't sell six packs. And that's what I got the store. And from the store I came back home and I stayed in the store. I mean I stayed home with my family. All us in the backyard drinking beer and just chilling listening to me. No, a family just hanging out family. >> I hear what you're telling me, >> but I did not do I'm not done yet. Trust me, I'm not done. >> Okay. >> You saw You saw us take some stuff out also other stuff out of there. >> A jacket >> like a gray jacket. >> A gray jacket >> with some bluish black color to it as well. >> Okay. >> So, the person who did this, >> there was a description given and there was some video actually of it. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> The person was wearing a gray long sleeve like jacket or shirt. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And your shed that you live in. Hold on. Listen. >> We found that article of clothing. And on that article of clothing was blood. Human blood. Presumptive positive human blood on the collar. >> Can I show you something? I'm sorry. And I hate it like that. But sometimes, sir, coincidences in the shirt, just say you seen some blood right on the collar, right? Look at my neck. You see my neck? >> Oh, he's on this side right here. I had got stretched on my neck and I apparently that's my blood. >> Okay. >> All right. >> That's a lot more blood than what your little scratch on your neck was. How did you get scratch on your neck? >> She did it. >> Who's she? Uh my wife, >> when did she do that? >> Well, it was in a section where we got into a little incident and altercation, little fight. I moisted in the face like that and she when she was trying to grab me, she scratched me. >> Okay. >> You know what I mean? And I I was bleeding from my neck. But sir, I got >> I'm going to show you one more picture. >> Thank you. >> And I'm not getting sarcastic with you. I appreciate you being good to me. You have been good to me. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. >> I'm trying to be honest with you and truth with you. >> Yes, sir. I understand to the point where I'm getting a little upset because >> I understand, but I can't do that. I can't tell you that. I can't I can't I understand it. >> This is the lady. >> Now, let me tell you something. My mama mama is 87 years old. >> Ain't in hell am I hurting somebody like this. This I didn't do this. I wouldn't hurt nobody like this. I didn't do this, man. I wouldn't do this to I wouldn't do this. >> This is not me. I don't listen I don't want to think you're a monster. >> But I I I think I think >> here's here's the deal, brother. Listen to me. I think this was an accident, but it did happen by you. >> I think I'm being set up being un Hold on, sir. I'm Sir, please. I did not do this. >> Let's be nice to to Miss Curl here. >> I did not do this. I I did not I I did not >> This is actually a good picture because the swelling's getting worse. >> I swear to God, I didn't do this. I didn't do this. I didn't I didn't I man I had nothing to do with this. I don't know nothing about this boat. >> Make us understand how your wallet is in Hold on a second. Listen to what I was going to say. >> That's the look of a cop who wishes he could turn off the camera and smack some sense into the suspect sitting across from him. And he has every reason to feel that way because looking at the picture of 85year-old Mrs. Curl and hearing Ronald's excuses is sickening. Mrs. Curl was beaten over the head with a large crystal candy bowl, one she had set out and filled with treats for her great grandchildren. So, not only did Ronald have the audacity to do that to her, but he also has the audacity to try and fool this detective. When he may as well have left a giant flashing sign at the crime scene saying, "Hi, my name is Ronald and I did this." >> Let's be nice to to Miss Curl here. >> I did not do this. I I did not I I did not. >> This is actually a good picture because the swelling's getting worse. I swear to God I didn't do this. I didn't do this. I didn't I didn't I Man, I had nothing to do with this. I don't know nothing about this, bro. >> Make us understand how your wallet is in Hold on a second. Listen to what I was going to say. >> Make us understand. >> Yes, sir. >> And it has to make sense as to why your wallet was in her home. Yes, sir. >> Okay. And items from her home were in your shed where you sleep. >> Explain that to us. Make it make sense because it doesn't make sense. First of all, like I said, and I'm say again, all due respect, my wallet was stolen. You don't have >> Okay. Okay. So, your wallet was stolen. >> Tell me how stuff that was stolen from her house at 1:00 in the afternoon or actually about 11:30 yesterday, noonish, show up in your place of residence, your shed you're living in later that evening. >> That's right. So if I was in this house, got to have some fingers fingerprints or some kick some pictures of me or something. >> DNA. >> Okay. >> Why do you think I DNA? >> I I I I want my DNA. >> We're going to figure that out. Trust me. I took your DNA. >> Yes, sir. I want to take it. Yes, sir. I I do and I voluntarily gave it to you cuz I want >> But here's here's the thing. >> Her DNA. >> Okay. >> If that human blood on the collar >> is hers. >> Yeah. >> How you going to explain that one? because you can't explain any of this. >> I know it's not hers. I know it's not hers cuz I haven't did anything like that. I would never do this, man. Please. I'm I'm telling you. Sorry. I know it sound crazy. And listen, I understand it sound crazy, but sir, you have to >> I want to I want to help you. And listen to me. I want to help you. And if you've got a a a legitimate factual way that you can tell me your wallet wasn't >> at all, it just literally was opened up and there's your ID just like everything you said was supposed to be was in their house where the lady was hurt and her stuff was in your place of residence hours later. Make that makes sense to me and I will I will track that down. >> Sir, my wallet, you have to understand, sir. Believe me on this. My wallet was stolen. at least like 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. >> I I I Why did you report it to the police, man? >> Because my car wasn't on. All right. They can't They don't know your pin for pin. >> People can >> I go back to the store. I go back to the store. Ask the store clerk. I go back to the store. >> You know, I'm going to go to the I'm going to go to the store and get the video. >> Yes. And it's a little young. It's a young I guess a rap or whatever. He's a rap or whatever. And he will see and you see the video. He will see where I >> I'm gonna get this. I'm going to get the video from yesterday too when you went there in the morning and >> yes and he would see that I went to the store and I asked him, "Hey man, you seen my wallet and the phone up here copy of your bank records to show activity with that card." >> Thank you. >> So that card that's in your wallet has regular activity using the pen to withdrawing cash. Explain that to me. How's that? >> They can't use my pen. >> But do you see what I'm saying? >> Give me something to help. >> Okay. But if I draw some money out, it going they going to know it's me, right? >> They will. Yeah. >> Okay. So, some money that was drawn out my account and and as it wasn't me because my mom say it was like $4500. How? It wasn't a mom. It wasn't that mama. Listen, you're not get Listen, you can't be telling me your wallet was stolen 3 weeks ago and and then then telling me that it just shows up in this person's house where their stuff is stolen and then ends up in your place a few hours later. You can't make that make sense. >> Listen, sir. >> And at the end of the day, >> Yeah. The real story is, >> okay, that lady was injured so badly that she's not going to make it. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? >> I understand, sir. I understand. >> Myself, myself and this detective right here are homicide detectives. >> Okay. She is going to die. >> I am very sorry about that, sir. I am. But I swear to God, I am. But you I I It's not me, sir. My wallet. God, >> I don't know how my wallet get in there, but ain't no way in hell. I've been in prison four times. Let me say something, sir. I've been in prison four times. I got 40 years up under the system. All my charges is like burglary, grand theft, >> strange, >> uh, dealing stolen property. >> Yeah. >> I never had a assault charge or murder with nobody cuz you didn't fight back like she did. >> I I don't even know this lady. And I don't even know this. I never had even seen this lady, sir. I swear I don't know what else to tell you. And that's the truth. That's why I'm Please tell. I know y'all for y'all y'all You say y'all criminal homicides. I know y'all y'all got the for Come on, man. Print me up or something. >> We're going to do that once we're done talking with you. We're going to also do that, too. >> Yeah. I mean, I know that. But I'm just saying take fingerprints. You I got to have some kind of fingerprints in there. I I I got to have some kind of DNA in there. It's something that I can do in >> I don't sir, but I'm just saying >> I understand. >> That's how you would avoid fingerprints. >> Come on, bro. I don't I don't do >> Yeah. Ronald's criminal history isn't quite helping him the way he seems to think it is. At the time of this interrogation, he had just just been released from prison after serving 15 years for selling stolen property. In total, between 1985 and 2025, he was found guilty of 28 different charges. And that's just the charges he was imprisoned on, not including charges that were dropped due to plea deals. Naturally, the majority of the charges are for burglary and grand theft. In addition, there's a charge for being in possession of some nose candy, if you catch my drift. Not the kind of candy you buy at the grocery store in the grocery store parking lot, maybe. In addition, he received one other condemning charge, but we'll let him tell you about that one shortly. talk to her. >> Yes. >> And what did she say? >> And before she went into a medically induced coma because of the swelling on her brain that's going to kill her, she gave a damn good description of the person who did it. >> And she said that person even presented their identification, their Florida identification to her. >> Listen, let me tell you something. Whoever the mom, all right, my mama told me, she said, boy, she say that's bad. She said because people can go out there and use your identification and they can get stuff on credit. They can do they can do all kinds of stuff and mess you up and I I and it that's what Listen, man. I know y'all don't understand it. That's y'all job. Y'all professionals at this. I know it is. >> Listen to my partner for a minute. >> So between Forest and I, we've been doing this job for well over 40 years between two of us. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> You you yourself said you've been in the system for how many years? 40. >> Okay. >> Alltogether 40. >> Let me ask you this. Your wallet was stolen three and a half weeks ago, right? >> Yes. >> Do you think it's kind of odd that we find it in the exact manner in which you say it was stolen? >> Yes or no? It's odd. >> I'm just telling you how it is. >> But no, it's not how it is. >> Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah. I understand what you're saying. But >> because in in the world that we all we work in, you live in, okay? When stuff is stolen, they take the valuable stuff out. They discard the stuff that's not needed. >> That's what I would do. That's what I would do. I mean, seriously, if I was steal somebody, I'm going take the B stuff and throw it out. >> But you have to understand when the wallet shows up in Miss Carl's house >> in the exact manner in which you say it was >> lost three and a half weeks ago. It doesn't make sense. >> It does. It further doesn't make sense that items that were given that were stolen from that residence were found in your shed >> and Mrs. Carl's husband told us the exact location and where he saw them just days prior. >> Mhm. >> That doesn't make sense. >> Help help us understand this because this is what I think. >> You know, I'm not no snitch. I'm not business, man. I never I never I'm never never been. You know what I mean? I I don't like putting people in the All right, >> I got you. >> This lady, I don't know her. And I may God bless her and keep her well. But I don't know this lady, bro. That is my wallet. My wallet been stole like three and a half weeks ago called Excuse. >> Okay. >> Now, to be honest with you, I bought some stuff from a guy inside a ball head store. He sold me a bag of food and he sold me those coins. Matter of fact, it was like um it was like it should have been four of them. It should have been like four picture. That was just a picture. >> Well, it should have been like four or six of them and I gave him $2 for all four of them because I guess he wanted some beer because ballheads throw on I got take gave him $2 for the cuz they don't want the coin. He can't get no bill. He don't do nothing but sit on the side of smoke and smoke and drink be all day. That's where you gonna see him all day long on the side of Ballhead. So smoking with a bald head store, >> you know the gas station store. So all them guys around there, they know who I am. I don't I don't have to lie and play games like that, man. And them dudes right there, they sit there and they smoke crack and they sell You know what I mean? And that's where I got it from. And that's I don't like like I said, I'm not a snitch. I don't you know what I mean? But I bought coins. I gave it $2. >> Your wallet shows up in their house fully intact. And the coins you got from the baldhead store. >> I got the coins. Let me see. My wallet went missing like three and a half years. Um three and a half weeks ago. >> Okay. Now the coins when I went to the store this morning, first thing I did when I went to the store, the first time I went to the store this morning, buddy came back, he came say, "Man, look, look here, man. Let me get a dollar. He said, "If I can get me a bill." I said, "No, boo." I said, "I got to go home right now." I said, "I'll be back later." So, when I come back the second time, I can't. It was like 5:00, 6:00, 5:30, or 6:00. When I come back to the store the second time, he said, "Boy, I got something for you, boy. I got something for you." I said, "What's up, boy?" He said, "Look here." He said, "Boy, let me get $2. I got to get me a bill cuz I get apparently they ain't going to take the coin in the building." I said, "Shit, I'll give you $2." I ain't know when the hell they were. So, and not pay due to the fact that I know him and he seem like a pretty good dude. I don't mind respect or helping the hustle. I give him $2 and I just stick the coins in my pocket. I said, "Here you go. Let me get that." And that's that. For this lady, I Oh, God. Man, I don't know this lady. I I would never hurt. I have a mother. >> In spite of the trauma she faced, Mrs. Curl managed to fight back and cling to consciousness. Her strength allowed her to live just long enough to give police a full description of the person who did this to her. You know, the person who is sitting directly across from the police right now, trying to point the finger at people in his neighborhood for sitting around all day when he spends his days robbing innocent old ladies. >> You went to go do a burglary. Just hear me out, please. >> You went to go do a burglary. You bang on the door, knock on the door, see if anybody's home. Okay? >> Somebody answered the door. You weren't expecting that. M >> okay. You came up with a ruse. >> You have a little story about who you was. >> Okay. She asked for some ID. You took out your wallet and showed it to her. >> I didn't do it. But yeah, go ahead. I mean, >> and then it was, "Oh crap, this is this is going on." Cuz let's When's the last time you used drugs? >> Drink. >> Drugs. >> Drugs. >> Yes. Uh, well, I smoke weed, man. Why? You know what I mean? >> So, you're like, "Oh, crap. This is going sideways. I was trying to get a little bit of money, trying to get a little bit of items so I can get some money, whatever." Just feel me. Just feel >> and then it's going sideways because now this lady's in the place and you still got this fix. You need to go solve for whatever. You got to get that money. And you mushed her out of the way. >> And she fell and got hurt. >> I understand. And then you went and did your thing and getting whatever you could get and it would be these coins and some jewelry and stuff like that. >> I understand. >> You didn't mean to hurt her, but it happened. >> I didn't hurt her. I didn't hurt her. I don't much know this lady. >> I don't I know you don't know the lady. >> I I don't know where. >> So, you please tell me where did you find my wallet? >> Inside inside her house. Right inside the door. >> I don't know. I mean any locations or >> because I don't know my wallet. >> Front door. Front door >> inside. Okay. >> I can't I know it sound crazy, bro. I do. And I appreciate y'all, man. I'm going to say it again. I appreciate y'all. Y'all doing your job. >> I don't have an attitude, but I appreciate that. >> Help me do more. If you didn't do this, help me figure out who did. >> Sir, only thing I can tell you being honest with you about the situation. >> Every time I say being honest with you about the situation, you're lying to No, no, I'm not lying. I'm I'm willing to take any kind of test or whatever. I know I'm not lying. And it really I know what I've been doing. I've been doing everything I could to stay out of trouble. I really have. I've been out of prison since June 11, 2024. My nose been clean. I ain't running from the police. I ain't got nothing hide from the police. Wally went missing. >> Ronald, listen. You're getting charged with with the crime, >> sir. I'm not going to I'm not going to break nobody house or hurt nobody. Well, I don't do that. That's not me. >> I I don't think you intentionally did it. I think it it happened in the course of the events. I don't want to think you're a monster that intentionally went in there and just to kill this lady and beat her up real bad or whatever. I don't want to think you're that monster. But man, >> like that, man. My mama man, I I wouldn't hurt no woman anyhow. >> I'm not saying it was in I understand. >> I think it just happened. I would But I wish you would be honest with me about it. I can't. I'm trying to be I'm giving to you how it is. I know the sounds crazy or whatever, but man, I didn't do this. S I didn't do this. I didn't I don't know nothing about this home invasion I know all that I don't know nothing about it. Let me I'm tell you what happened. >> Okay. >> That's the go. That's the only thing I can do. >> So, you said you were in jail for what 15 years? >> I was in jail. I had alltogether I got I've been in prison four times. >> Okay. What was the most You said you you were just released last year. I was I was released from prison. Okay. >> June 11, 2024. >> What were you there for? >> Burglar dwelling. >> Okay. >> Burg dwelling. >> What else? >> Dylan and stolen property. What else? >> Uh possession of pond broker. That's it. What else? >> That's it. What else? Uh >> uh I can't I had hope. We keep chargment. False imprisonment. False imprisonment. False imprisonment. False imprisonment. Yes. false imprisonment. And it hurt me. So, you know why? Because at that time I was on and I was doing practice and I had it bad then and I was doing some that I ain't had no business doing. >> And I regretted that. And if you read the report off that false imprisonment, you would see that the lady said in her statement that this had to be one of the nicest robbers I ever met in my life because he never honed me. He never even threatened me. >> What about the blood? >> True enough. False imprisonment. True enough. I broke into this house. >> Was somebody in there? >> Wasn't nobody in here. I broke into this house. Was nobody in here. >> Which house? >> This when I when I went to prison. As I'm going out the house, I'm trying to get me a few dollars for me. Give me. As I'm coming out the house, the lady was coming in the house straight up being unswitch. I panic. I didn't know do I'm on crack on crack. So what I do? Come on, mom. Come on, man. Come on. I ain't going to hurt you, Mom. So she get scared. I can imagine her being scared. A little short black ballhead. You know what I mean? Black dude in her. I can understand that. But it scared me more than it scared her. >> Yeah. And I was doing everything in my willpower, everything in my soul to calm her down. Mom, it's going to be all right. Please, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> It's odd because this lady, this lady in this incident, >> she said the guy told her, "Don't worry, he's not >> he was really nice to her." >> I don't even know this lady. And then second of all, >> here, did you hear what I just said? You were talking about the time you got arrested and you were super nice. The lady even said you were super nice to her. This lady, >> Miss Curl, >> Miss Curl, >> said he told me, "Don't worry, I'm not going to I'm not >> I don't hurt people. I don't do that. But I anything that I do, >> that's why this was an accident." >> What a title to be proud of. The nicest robber I ever met. Somehow, Ronald thinks that that is helping his case. But holding a woman against her will doesn't exactly paint a picture of a man who isn't violent in spite of his insistence that he never harmed her. >> You freaked out and panicked and then you hurt her on accident, but you hurt her. >> I can't. It's crazy. >> What about the burglary of the of the dwelling? >> The burger >> with the battery? >> The burglar dwelling with a battery? I didn't I never had a burger dwelling with a battery? >> Yeah, you did. >> I never a burger dwelling with a battery. come a burger dwelling with a battle when you hurt somebody. No, I never had that on my record. I never had that one in my record. I never hurt nobody in the course of a crime. >> You never got charged. >> I never hurt I never hurt nobody with a in the course of crime. But that one time I would I did the false imprisonment. I admit that because I panic I was >> but I never hurt nobody. >> But but listen, you panicked when you saw her just like you panic when you saw Miss Curl. >> I'm sorry for this lady. God knows I am. I swear to God I am. But I I don't I never seen this lady. I don't know this lady. I didn't do this. This I man God if he can speak. I didn't do this. If I did it, you know, if I'm caught one thing about me, I'm a man and I ain't scared to do time. I am not scared to do time. And if I did something, I tell you and I'm wear I'mma stand on all 10 feet on all 10 toes on that. I'm not gonna sit here and sugar coat If I did, I did. Okay. Now, I paid a price for it. Sir, with all honesty and heart and soul. I did not do this. I did not hurt this lady. I bought them coins on ballhead store. It's all >> what what's he look like? >> You can't miss him. >> He I'm I'm tell I'm going tell I'm going tell you say what it look like. I said you can't I'm s tell you what it look like when you say what it look like. That why I was saying you can't miss him. He he uh maybe he might be an inch or two taller than me. He got a a real a full beard. All right. He he got a couple gold in his mouth with scot gold. Ain't no way if you walk up there and he smile. Ain't no way you can miss him. He his hair nappy. He always wear a jacket with a hoodie on it. You understand? But like I said, I'm not no snitch. But right now, boy, I'm telling you what time it is. And if they call me a snitch, okay, that would happen, man. >> Just hear me out. >> Yes, sir. >> You panic like you did with the lady with the false imprisonment. You don't know what to do. Okay. You go inside and all of a sudden now this this lady, Miss Curl, she's trying to defend herself. And in that action, the wallet gets knocked out of the hand and gets kicked up against the corner. You don't realize it. You don't because there's a struggle going on. Okay. I don't We don't think that you intentionally barged your way in there and hurt Mrs. Curl. What we believe >> I appreciate that boy. >> But what we believe is this. We believe you went there, okay, with the intent to commit a burglary. You freaked out when she answered the door and you came up with something as quick as you could to try to smooth your way in. And then when she went on the offensive because she got scared, you panicked. And then bad happened. I'm going to tell you right now, if bad would happen because you panicked, okay, that's better and it sounds better than you went in there with the sole intent to beat this woman. Okay, I'm looking at you here as a man. I don't see that coldness. >> I don't do that, man. >> But like I said, I don't see the coldness, Ronald. What I see is someone that got scared and now he's sitting there going, "Holy I can't believe I forgot. I can't believe I forgot my wallet." And they found those coins. That's what happened. And I'm telling you, Ronald, okay? you coming off your story and telling us the God's truth. >> Okay, >> is going to make a world of difference. >> Okay, >> I understand that, too. But I'm just I I just I'm tell you what I know. I'm telling you everything I know. >> But But >> I mean, >> so so at the very beginning, we show you the coins. Oh, my old lady. She Those those are her. Those are her. Those are hers. You threw them on her at the very beginning. No, I told you. He I never knew nothing about the coins till he asked me something about the coins. >> But he But he asked you where they came from and you were throwing the blame on your old lady. >> Hold on a second. You were throwing the blame on your old lady. >> That's because Hold on a second. Let me finish. You were throwing the blame on your old lady. >> Once Detective Price confronted you with those coins being from that woman's house, what did you do? Oh crap. You can't hear the story. non-discrete black male, >> nappy head, beard, gold teeth. >> Hell, if Man, I wish you know what I wish I could even take it to. That's what I wish I can do. I wish I could just take it to him. >> Well, you know, and and come on, man. I I I have nothing is just happened. I don't I don't know how it happened like this, but just happened crazy. It seemed I don't understand what you're saying, sir. But it happened because you went there with the sole intention to commit a burglary. >> I keep saying that I went there. I did not go there. >> You did? >> Okay. Well, you say I went there. I say I didn't. I did not go there. I'm telling you, I didn't go there. I don't even know this lady. >> If you were in our shoes, think about it. Put yourself in. >> I'm not a dumb criminal. >> Hold on a second. >> If you have to tell the police that you aren't a dumb criminal, that's a bad sign. What's an even worse is that it didn't even take police 24 hours to take Ronald into custody for this crime he allegedly committed. >> If you were in our shoes being the detective, >> of course you'll think like that. >> Of course. >> But look at the picture. Look what we have. >> That's why I say sir. >> Then then why would your why why would Diane say you gave her three? >> Diane ain't said that I gave her no money. She Diane I know Diane ain't said that I gave her no money. >> Have I lied to you yet? No, you ain't. >> And when I tell you Diane straight up told me you gave her all three rings of s >> Diane told a goddamn lie. >> She Diane told a goddamn lie. >> I don't know what to tell you. >> Don't worry about it. My people I have my people to talk with Diane because Tyianne told a goddamn lie. >> Be careful. >> Why not? That's my wife. She told y'all a lie. She said that I gave her those rings. >> Let me give you a little advice. Don't do that because that's tampering with a witness. >> No, it's not that. That's who it is. No, >> that's my wife. >> No, she's a witness. >> But she's she gave >> So you mean tell me she's a witness, so I can't talk to my wife? >> No. No. I can't listen. Listen. >> She gave testimony that you gave her those three w rings. Don't Don't sit here and get upset and have your people. >> Yeah. No, not like that. Not like No. No. Not like that. I know. Not like that. Not like that. Not like Not no way. I'll never do nothing to hurt her. But I'm going just say when I say I have my people to talk to her like my mom or somebody. You know what I mean? That's still not >> she telling because that's not right. Don't tell y'all nothing. >> Because I didn't do this. I did not give you those rings and you went in your shed and you got your stuff out your shed and you bring your stuff in here. She got unit. >> Where's that at? >> Uh somewhere on Clon's Drive. Right by the McDonald's. >> Clarins Drive. >> Yeah. Right by on a right by Colonia. >> Colonial. >> So why she tell y'all that I gave her the rings? I have no idea, brother. >> I did not get her those rings. >> Why? Why would she lie to her? >> Why would she lie to y'all? Why would she lie? Why would she lie to y'all? >> You're her husband. You love her. She loves you. Right. >> So why would she lie? >> Exactly. >> And say that I gave her some rings. I didn't got give her those rings. Even Even the boys in there can tell I did not give her those rings. She b them rings from the storage unit, but she always call, "Oh, this my hood, my homie, this, my homie, that my homie that." It's not that I didn't get hold of those rings. So >> everything she get, she always tell she tell him, she tell, "Oh, this my my hood, my homie got me. My homie got >> you understand." >> God, this crazy, man. Why I got to get twisted up in like this, man. >> What's What do you think will happen or how do you think it'll look? Because if if the family looks at those rings that your wife >> said that you gave to her yesterday, >> what if they look at the Hold on a second. What if they look at those rings and say, "Those are my mother's rings." Miss Curl, the one who's lying up in the hospital right now. >> What if who said it? >> What if the family >> family of the lady hospital? >> They see the ring, say, "Yeah, that's my mom's ring. That's my mom's ring. That's my mom's ring." >> You very welcome, as far as I'm concerned, you're very welcome to do that. I don't have no rings. So, you're very welcome to do that. >> But see, the problem is she is saying that you you no one else but you >> Yeah. >> gave her those rings yesterday afternoon. >> So, now we we we rings stolen from a house. >> It's crazy, man. >> Coins stolen from a house. >> Yeah. >> All ending up in your shed. >> Listen, >> coming from a house where your wallet came from. >> One thing about it, I'm not a dumb criminal. Second thing, if I go do something, I'm not going to need no valuable evidence behind like that. Trust me, I don't do that. I ain't going to slip like that now. And I'm just keeping it with 100. >> If you panicking, you would >> sir, I did not commit this crime. >> All right. Well, sir, >> I listen. I understand your decision. I'm going to finish doing my investigations. >> And I respect, man, from start to finish. I told you at the start, I respect you. I respect that. I respect y'all job. Y'all doing your job. Y'all doing your job. So, I respect that. I'm not getting hostile or disrespectful to y'all. So, please don't take it like that. We here we talking and that's all it is. And I'm just giving you what I know. I can't give you no more than that. I'm giving you exactly what I know, bro. >> Okay? >> I did not hurt this lady, bro. Exactly. I never heard >> You're giving us your truth. Your truth. Not the truth. >> Ronald, >> I'm giving to you where it is, bro. I'm giving to you exactly what happened. I can't tell you no more. >> Is this your story and you're sticking to it? >> That's my story and I'm sticking to it because I don't I don't know this lady, man. I swear I've never seen this lady. >> Listen, I understand. I I've >> You have to take Listen. I gave I listened I listened to your side. I presented what I have. >> There's nothing there's nothing that you've told me that can make me understand how all these things lined up. >> But I'm not done with my stuff. >> Okay. >> Okay. Just I am going to look at your bank. I am going to go to that that gas station and look for video >> and make Yeah. >> Okay. >> And we're also going to be submitting your like DNA that I took from me earlier and and comparing to the stuff that's inside the house. Whoever broke in this house or whatever they did to this lady, whatever, if they dumb enough to leave something valuable with they information in this lady house, it got to be some fingerprints or something in it. Got to just keep searching. It got to be >> ain't no way in hell. Not me. Not me. Me. Ain't no way in hell I'mma break in somebody house and leave some valuable information. I'm gonna make sure everything I got my ID. I got my And then I'm gonna make sure I got everything before I enter the house. I'm not Stop. Stop the thing for a second. Just let's hear this part out. You said if you did something like that, you're going to make sure you have everything. >> I'm going to make sure I got all my stuff. Bro, >> you you're like I'm making sure I got my stuff, but you'll go to the convenience store and you'll forget your damn wallet and phone on the counter. >> Let me tell you something, bro. >> Damn. >> Because I'm not doing nothing illegal. I'm not doing nothing illegal. When I go to the store, yeah, I'm not doing nothing illegal. But if I if I'm in a situation where I'm committing a crime, yeah, I'm going to do some slipping like that. Of course, but those two different scenarios. Come on now. Those two different scenarios, brother. I know it sound crazy. >> Different scenarios, but what if you couldn't find a wall? >> Hey, big bro. Listen, I know it sound crazy and I'm being honest with you. I know this sound crazy and it look it everything leading up to me. I understand You understand what you're saying? It leads to you, right? >> Yes, sir. I Hey, I understand. I feel y'all. I I swear to God, I do. I I I meant that. I'm not being sarcastic or smart, man. I understand what you saying. I see the pictures that you talking about. How your wallet lay in this house and then you wind up with the coins. Bro, listen. I don't know nothing about that. Only thing I know, my wallet was stolen like three and a half weeks ago. All right. >> The only thing Ronald actually knows is that he really really doesn't want to go to jail again. >> You understand you are charged with the home invasion robbery? >> I understand that. I don't know why I'm charged with a home. I understand, but I don't understand why I'm charged with the other two counts are aggravated battery with great bodily harm and aggravated battery on a person 65 or older because she's 85 years old. >> Boy, y'all show sticking to me, boy. >> Well, I didn't do that. >> That's only fair. She's got serious. That picture is not even nearly what she looks like now. It looks worse. >> I didn't do this, boy. >> You have to understand we have to do our job, right? >> I understand. I understand, sir. But I swear for God here, boy. I listen. >> I do not know this lady, bro. I never even seen this lady. Yeah. >> That we believe 100%. I have no I mean can you >> Here's what's going to happen. Ronald, we've listened to you what you had to say. I presented everything trying to get an understanding of how these things happen. >> Great. Yeah. >> I'm going to go finish my paperwork. You want to eat some chips? You I can get you a bottle of water if you want. We're going to step out. I'm going to knock out the rest of the paperwork and get you out of here. We have to do some uh photograph. >> Yeah. So, just so you know, we have some of our civilian uh crime scene investigators. They're going to come out. They're going to take some photographs of you. All right. Um, doc. >> I mean, what what what I mean, this make me look like I'm a a mass murder or somebody, man. >> Well, this is a serious charge. >> For real, boy. Serious. >> This is a serious charge. You know that. >> This ain't no joke. Especially Especially when the doctors are saying. >> So now you're looking at you're looking at life, life sentence, a death pen. We don't know. >> Man, listen, bro. >> I just got a prison June 11th. >> I know. And that's a shame. >> I haven't been. Boy, look at my nose been clean. >> Well, >> now >> that's that's not my >> I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not going to go around with you about anymore, bro. >> I don't know. Please, man. You got to take some fingerprints of this people. You got to do all that stuff. >> I did not do this, man. I I I can't, man. I can't I I didn't I don't I didn't do this, man. >> I didn't do this, man. >> We're going to We're going to step out. I We're going to do what I talked about. Okay. >> Man, >> brother, >> and this I know what y'all saying. She look to me. I I know exactly what you're saying. >> It does. And that's why I'm trying to get the understanding of of how I should look somewhere else. But it just everything is all the evidence is coming back to you, man. And that's the problem. So, we're going to step out and like I said, we'll get this knocked out as quick as we can to get you out of here. Okay. Do you want water? >> Yes, sir. Please. Mr. Price, listen. Oh, Mr. Ring, man. Listen, sir. I did not commit this crime, boy. I >> Listen, I know that's what you're stuck with. >> I swear I know it's >> I have more evidence that I'm going to try to gather. But listen, right now, we're going to go step out and take care of this. I'll get you a bottle of water and some chips right there. You got your little blanket for now. We're going to get that lady in here to take some pictures of you and stuff and we'll get you this as fast as we can. Okay. So, what charges you? I'm going to tell you as I'm stepping out, but it's it's the home invasion robbery. It's the aggravated battery um causing great bodily harm and it's the aggravated battery on a person uh over 65. >> Well, hell, I do nothing like that, bro. >> Well, >> I mean, I I'm sorry, bro. I'm But I wouldn't do that, bro. >> Just sit just sit tight for a minute. Let's get Let's get this stuff knocked out. When detectives return, Ronald seems a lot less concerned about the potential jail time of his charges and a lot more concerned about what it means for his street cred, which is crazy considering that he may never see the streets again. >> What I tell you? >> Well, we you and I could talk after this is done. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, if you would just follow his instructions, that way we keep that I can get them out of here as quickly as possible. >> CSI. >> God damn. It's that serious. >> Do you want us to be thorough? >> I ain't never uh been >> But but do you want us to be thorough? You said you wanted us to to to be thorough. So this this is us being thorough. >> So like I said, he's got a job to do. So just if you would please follow us instruction. >> Yes, sir. I got a problem. >> I appreciate you. >> I'm with you, but damn CSI. So >> you know, I never I've been a a problem kid when I was growing up all my life. did committed crime, but I ain't never been involved with nothing like this. Here, >> I'm going to do the same kind of photos, but for this one, I'm going to need you to take your shirt off. Okay. >> So, I'm going on TV, huh? Don't put me on TV, huh? >> Yeah, I'm going on TV. >> So far, Ronald's just ended up on YouTube. But that's about the same thing nowadays, wouldn't you say? Ronald was charged with first-degree murder, burglary with assault, and burglary with no deadly weapon. Originally, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison. However, as of the posting of this video, he has filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea, claiming that he was coerced into pleading guilty for fear of the death penalty. As a result, the case is ongoing, and he is not currently in department custody. Thank you for watching today's video. Whether you're new here or have been with us for a while, check out one of the craziest cases I've ever covered right here, or one of my newest uploads right here.
