Get on the [ __ ] ground. Get on theing [screaming] ground. Both of it. >> Shut up. Get on the ground. Spread out. Spread out. >> She took me on it. I promise you. >> I don't give. You're both are going to sit there. Keep your hands spread. >> I'm I'm a kid. I promise you. >> She took me on. I was telling you to stop. I don't want to die. I promise you on every I was telling her I don't want to die in that car I tried to jump out and then I open the door. >> I don't know if you can hearbody. >> Yeah. [laughter] Slow down. >> With the suspects under control, the cops then put them both in handcuffs and moved them to the squad car. My wife stops the [ __ ] stop. I don't do this. I was trying to go to a [ __ ] car. >> Hey, I'll tell the whole house, mother. Hey, you want me tell? Cuz I'll tell all you guys. 50. You got all involved. Correct. >> Hey, you want me to tell cuz I'm telling? >> Yes, we do. >> Huh? Oh, do you want me to tell cuz I'm telling her 239? >> Promise not. >> Thank you. >> Do you have anything on you that you should? >> No. Sure don't. I promise you. >> Listen, I'll be honest with you. I don't know whose car that is. Okay. Okay. >> Come over at Nikki Baker. Okay. Listen, >> I don't have nothing on me. doing a little dear >> number. >> Well, because you want to tell the real reason why. >> If you want to. >> Okay. Well, um, so >> Hey, listen. I'm about to tell everything, dude. >> I don't know this guy at all. Don't know him at all. He asked me to give him a ride home. Okay, >> there, >> man. As she's sitting in the back of the squad car, she goes on and on about this snitching nonsense. >> Hey, I'm ready to tell you guys what the [ __ ] really going on. >> Hey, you guys might really want to know the real deal, okay? Because at this point, okay, so I'm over at my friend's house. Okay. >> What's your first name? >> Ashley. >> Ashley, what's your last name? >> West. >> West. >> Yes. Okay. So, I'm over at my friend's house, right? These guys asked me to give this kid a ride. Okay. Nikki Baker and Doug Baker's house. So I'm like, uh, whoever's car this is don't know it's his buddy. I figured you ride home, right? >> Swear to God, dude. And uh, >> he's >> So why are you running? >> Why am I running? Because >> Well, I know there's no plank on the car, guys. >> And um, >> do you have warrants? >> No, I don't think so. >> You don't think so? >> I don't think so. >> What's your birthday, Ashley? 5191. >> 5191. Okay. How do you How do you spell Ashley? >> Sl. >> And West is W. >> But this Hey, hold on. This kid was not This kid was not yelling to get out the car. >> And what's And what's your birthday again? >> I have 191. >> How old are you? >> 33. >> Okay. >> You doing all right? >> What? >> You doing all right? >> No, I'm really not. >> What's the matter? >> Okay. Well, cuz I hang out with dumbass people. Okay. Um >> Okay. So, what's the matter today? >> Why aren't you doing okay? I just see you wobbing wobbing back and forth. What's the [ __ ] >> Because I'm um >> Hi. >> No, because I put myself in these situations with these people that I shouldn't be around to begin with. >> You don't need medical attention for anything. >> No, but hold on. Okay. >> Well, turns out she has a warrant. Not like it's surprising or anything. >> Got warrants for that second. >> Oh, cool. Nice. >> And then I want to say the kid in the back of Purcell's car is that Venoski kid. Is he not giving his name? >> No, he gave a fake name. >> His name comes back to a black guy with graves. >> Oh, nice. Good, good, good. Got your stats for today? >> This is my first stop. >> I figured [laughter] >> leaving the fuel island. >> What's that? >> Were you leaving the fuel island? >> I was leaving the traffic cut and they were uh at Southeast 14th and um Mari right there. >> Yeah, I left my uh >> So, I'm going to be Can I be honest with you? >> Of course. >> Okay. So, um, obviously >> here, let me I'm just going to read you your rights that way. So, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law if you wish. And you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Cool. >> All right. What were you about to say? >> Okay. So, I was I didn't stop honestly because um I have a warrant, >> right? >> Okay. Um, so there's that. Um, my mom kicked me out of her house a couple days ago. >> Okay. Um, so I'm over at someone's house I should have never been at. Um, so you know the shooting I guess or something that happened at this park. Okay. So I'm friends with like Nikki. I've been friends with her for a long time. >> Which park? >> Um, the park over like Southeast or something like that. >> You got information about it or what? >> I mean yeah. Let me see if uh detectives need to >> so whole like I said whole time [snorts] um they asked me to get this kid a ride. I don't even know this kid. Okay. And I'm like >> this kid that was in the passenger seat. >> I don't even know this kid's name. So they asked me to give him a ride home and like we were driving. I'm like it's kind of crazy how every time like I want to do right. So Nikki >> 96. >> I feel like I just kind of got set up to be real. There you go. I'll tell you guys everything you want to know for real. >> No, I'm serious at this point. So, the cops came to the uh the house I guess yesterday or something to talk to these boys. He was one of the ones involved. >> Did they talk to him? >> They they talked to the detective. >> Yeah. >> Um they ain't I mean they ain't telling the truth. So, um I'm not sure exactly how much they talked to him, but what I do know is um they have surveillance and everything else like the shooting. I mean, one second here. >> So, apparently she's ratting out the passenger saying she was involved in some kind of shooting and the officers now need to confirm that story, but pretty sure it's just a bunch of bull crap to get her butt out of trouble. >> You know anything about a shooting like Southeast Fifth in a park over there? She's claiming he was One of them and detectives are looking for him or anything. I didn't know if you were aware. >> Uh, let me let me look. >> Have you figured out his name yet? >> No. >> I haven't dug too deep into it, but she's claiming um is there a shooting like Southeast Fifth and a park down on the south side on Southeast >> when I'm not 100% sure. Well, she's claiming that he was part of it. That's why he's not giving his name. detectives are looking for him and >> I didn't know if you were aware of any shooting here. >> Yeah, something's something weird is going on. So, >> um have we looked over there to see if they So, uh this this kid gives me the name Keegan Carney. I look up Keegan Carney. Nothing. He doesn't know his social. Doesn't know doesn't know anything. Uh, when I look up Keegan Carney, Mohamad Ishag's picture shows up. Mohamad Ishag, I'm sure you know the name. He's been has been involved in all sorts of if he runs with Mohamad Ishag, then yeah, that might be true. Um, but I think Muhamad, one of them is lying. Muhamad went to jail with like a possession of alcohol charge in January and used his name and they booked him because they're like, "Oh, it's possession." So, they booked Mohamad Ishag under Keegan Keegan Carney, which is the name he's given, which doesn't come back. And then he's he's giving Mohamad Ishag's address for his address. So, something sketch is going on. >> Gotcha. McCormack wanted you to do your vehicle in front of the car. All right. So, >> we can get we can actually get Crow started if we want. Unless we want to look. >> I don't know if you need that. The video doesn't >> All you see is the bumper kind of come in frame. That's But if you have any other questions, >> okay, thanks. >> Cops then talked to the woman again to find out more about the situation. >> Um, so you don't know whose car this is? >> I It's um Nikki's um son, Brewers. >> Okay. >> The one that's cool. >> Gotcha. Is there anything in there that we should know about? >> Listen, I don't know. I have no idea, but um I'm going to tell you what I was told. Okay. Um if there so um I don't know that uh the gun I guess was used or whatever. Okay. >> Um >> I I mean I'll call Nikki and Doug and whoever, but listen. Okay. >> Is that her son? >> That's her son? No, that's one of her son's friends. >> Oh god. that was involved in that whole thing. Right. >> Yeah. >> So, they're all >> Southeast Fifth and what? >> Um, she lives out Southeast Second. >> Um, that little park right there on Indiana. >> Oh, like Southeast First yesterday asked about it. >> Do you know what? Detective. >> I I have no idea. I wasn't there. I took off when you guys came to be honest with you. I'm on the run. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm I'm going to come talk to you here in a sec. Okay. Um I do have your phone. Okay. Just so you know. >> That's his phone. >> That's his phone. >> Yeah. >> Gota still doing okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. Thanks for being patient. Um so obviously when I round to this corner I saw you running up that way. Obviously he was already up ahead of you. Did you see him dump anything? >> Listen not dump nothing. >> What's that? >> I didn't see him dump nothing at all. Okay. But what I'm telling you is that um I >> do you know do you know his name? >> I don't know him at all. >> Okay, >> listen. That's the thing. I felt like I was just set up. Okay, because I guess Okay, I'm a I should have went home to my kid. So, I went on the run, okay? Got kicked out of treatment. Um started my life off again. My mom kicked me out of her house a couple days ago. Um so, I go hang out with these rooms. >> Mhm. And um when I sh my [ __ ] kid, I don't know his name. All I know is a the kid's suit name who supposedly the car isn't, which obviously is Blake, his buddy. >> Mhm. >> Mickey Muso Baker and uh you know I'm talking about son. >> Okay. So I'm like I wake up and I'm like this kid asked me to give him a ride and I felt like something was weird anyway, >> but I have a so I'm like okay where do you need a ride to? And all of a sudden he's it stays eight blocks and then he sees you. Well, I see you and I'm like he starts panicking. So I'm like well what the am I it's gonna be awesome. Like what am I going to stop for >> because what he was panicking >> right >> and the worst case scenario I mean I thought okay so guess what I'm I'm going to go back to warrant a job my warrant >> with no plates on a car. Okay. >> Nothing that that is no big deal to me really. But um >> she have a phone on her. >> I don't have no phone at all. >> He's supposed to have a phone in there. We can't find it. >> Yeah, >> there's nothing in that car. Worth the note. >> Yeah, there's a a live round underneath the back seat. But >> Caleb's doubling back to see if they tossed it in the chase. But >> I'm curious. Yes, sir. >> Hey, buddy. Hey, got two questions for you. One, >> um, when they went to East, did they go up redhead where it's diagonal or did they go straight to East 18? >> They they went straight to they ran through that red at Red or the stop sign at Redhead. She's been super cooperative about everything. She's like, I'll tell you anything you want to know. And she said that she didn't see him throw anything. I don't think he had anything on it. >> Yeah, he >> But there was apparently there was live rounds in the car. >> So, who has control of the vehicle? Was it her? >> She was driving, >> but she doesn't know the owner or anything else. She was just taking his word that it's >> a friend of a friend's mom. >> As far as I'm concerned, yeah. Okay. >> In the end, the woman is charged with eluding, interference with official act, and possession of drug paraphernelia. The passenger is charged with interference with official acts and possession of psilocybin mushrooms that were found in his backpack. Uh there is no indication of a shooting on his record, indicating he's most likely not the shooter. The woman claimed he was. >> No, don't. Don't. >> You got to get out. Get out. Get out. >> Hi, sir. >> Yeah. Can you get in the car, please? >> I am pulling you over. >> Oh, I'm getting I'm dropping my child off the school, sir. >> Can you Can you get in, please? >> I'm sorry. Why am I getting pulled over? >> Cuz you failed to yield for that car. You took a left and they were going straight. You got to yield. So, please get in the car. Driver license and registration, please. >> Please, sir. I'm just dropping my child off to school. >> Can I get your license, registration, then we'll talk about everything else? Come on. Let's go. I don't want you out here cuz it's just not safe. >> No, I know, sir. But I'm going to Please, sir. >> Let me see your license and registration and then and then we'll then we'll talk about everything else. All right. >> I just need to drop my child off. >> I got you. Please, sir. >> Can I get the license of registration, please? >> Thank you. >> I just need to drop my child off the school, sir. That's good. >> Look, most likely I'm going to give you a verbal warning. Okay. But I still need to see your license and registration. >> Please, sir. I just need to drop the baby off to school. >> I got you. Do you have your license and registration on you? >> Dear God, what's wrong with this lady? The cop said he would give her just a verbal warning if she gave him some kind of identification. Does she not have a license or registration or something? >> I just need to drop her off to school. That's fine. And we'll make sure that she gets to school. Do you have your license and registration? >> No, sir. I don't. >> Okay. Where is it? >> Ah, that explains it. But that's still too much emotion. >> Please get in the car. Put your feet in because I don't want you to get hit by these cars out here. >> Please, sir. I just need to drop the child off to school. I'm so sorry. I didn't I wasn't I just dropped >> Go ahead. >> I'm about to call for backup and I really don't want to. >> I'm so sorry. >> Negative. I have a emotional person here. I'm trying to take care of him this time. >> I just need to drop her off. >> Do you Do you have a driver's license? >> No, I >> Where is it? >> I don't have it. The police officer took it. >> Okay. So, you're telling me that you're suspended or or revolt or what? What is it? >> Um, I got a DUI and I'm just dropping her off to school cuz I don't have >> Well, please, sir. Please. Well, you're not cooperating and you're not really showing her the way we're supposed to conduct ourselves when we're dealing with the police. >> All right. I'm pulling you over for a traffic infraction. You failed to yield for that vehicle that was going straight. You have to yield. You didn't have a You didn't have a turn signal line. So there So So yes, you're going to get pulled over. It just happened to be me that pulled you over. >> Um first name, >> Miss Victoria. >> Okay. Do you have the the vehicle registration, though? >> I do. Yes, sir. >> Can I get that? Oh my god. >> Victoria, just take a take a deep breath. All right. I'll be right back. >> As the cop is running a profile through dispatch, he found out that she had a warrant for her arrest. >> Do you have somebody you can call to um to come here? >> No, sir. >> Okay. Well, then um >> I live right here. I live literally right there. Okay. If you maybe I just don't take her to school. If you just follow me and I >> I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to do that because we cuz cuz we have a we have a we have an issue. I mean, your license is suspended, revoked. You know it is because you've received the you've received the information. You told me that you knew it was and your vehicle hasn't been registered since April. >> Yes, but I'm I'm in the process.
