I'm ready to pay for the merchandise and leave the store. No, I don't know why you keep repeating that. You never really >> She's running again. She's running again. >> It's wild how some shoplifterss think they've pulled off the perfect crime right up until they get caught red-handed. Welcome to Police X10, where attitude meets authority. It's time for Cops Versus Dumbest Shoplifters who got caught red-handed after stealing. Starting with these shoplifterss who still wanted to steal even with multiple warrants on their names. >> Probably getting real rough to give you a break if you got five but >> it's October 3rd, 2024. Officers responded to Burlington regarding an active shoplifting incident. This is what happened next when the police arrived. >> Can you let me know what's going on a little bit more? I just are what we get is very like sporadic. >> We have two females in here. >> Um they came in. This is our usual. They come in about 10:15 and they run around and stuff carts and then they attempt to walk out with them. >> Okay. >> Um, these ones came in very suspicious from the beginning. Came in with empty bags, backpacks, stuff like that. >> Um, but that's what we've noticed. They're they're literally just grabbing stuff. And >> so, are they still in here right now doing it? >> Still in right now. >> Okay. So, they're like it's in progress essentially. Okay. And I see that my backs just got here, too. So, um, I will wait for them to come in and then we'll head in there. So, this back end over here through here. Okay. >> Zigzag. [laughter] >> All right. Thank you. >> There's the usual suspect. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> What are we doing? >> Are we waiting for them to actually steal? >> That's what I'm wondering. >> Like in the Target [laughter] overtime days, you just wait for them just so you have something to do. >> Yeah. >> And it's the red hair, blue hair girls. >> Yeah. It's like a copper. It's like a copper color. And then hers, the part that's hanging out of her hat, you can see that it's like a bluish color. >> Okay. Hers is like really >> Did we already air those descriptions or no? >> They're they're in the CAD. >> Oh, okay. So, they were at aired when the call came out. >> I just saw the red hair, blue hair. >> I was like, got it in like a puffer jacket or something. >> 20 minutes and that's usually when they take a run for it. So, let me do that and see if they go. >> Okay. >> Can you just have her your loss prevention if you just kind of gives like a thumbs up as they're coming near? It's pretty absurd when shoplifterss keep stealing while cops are literally waiting outside. But trust us, it gets more ridiculous. Uh-oh, she came back already. That was quick. >> They're in line right now. >> Their bags are pretty full. But we always have the ones that stuff and then they go pay for two or three things or they come up here, ring us stuff, and say their card doesn't work. So, I'm going to stay up here with the cashier just to see how it goes. >> Okay. Sweet. Here. Here comes one of them. >> Hello, man. >> Hi, ma'am. Can we talk to you real quick? >> Can we talk to you real quick? Yes. >> Um, so the store um, >> yeah, we put every we didn't we put everything back. >> Okay. They want you guys trespass. >> Okay. >> So, we're if you don't do you have any ID on you? >> No, I don't. I got warrant. >> Okay. >> Good. How are you? >> How are we doing? >> I'm fine. How are you? >> How are you doing? So, >> we're fine. What happened? >> Okay. So, the store wants you guys. >> Okay. >> Do you have any ID on you? >> Uh, no. I'm from California. >> You're from California? Okay. >> My ID was in my purse when we got robbed. >> My two E like this. And then, uh, what's your >> reward name? >> Um, okay. We're going to work through this. What What's your last name? >> Ma'am, what's your last? >> Okay. >> Do either of them have anything on them right now? >> In their backs. They both in their backs. I know this lady with the ones on her body. Those are the ones that she had in the basket. >> Do we know for sure about the other girl kind of walking away? >> Um I'm not positive, but I know her backpack does look further than the ones that she >> Okay. But for sure the white jacket one for sure. >> Now the officers knew they lied. It's no longer just a trespass ticket for him. They started cuffing the suspects and searching for stolen items. >> Open this door like this. >> Take this back off. >> Okay. >> Just relax. >> All right. >> Take this one off as well. >> Why am I being arrested, sir? >> So, we'll fly in just a second. >> Okay. But why am I being arrested? But why am I being handcuffed? >> For theft. Okay. >> For theft. But this is my first time being in this Burlington, sir. >> For stealing. >> For stealing. They are saying that they saw you put stuff in your bags and now you're walking out with said bags. So that would be stealing >> there's nothing in there. >> Okay. >> That's my stuff. That's why I said there's nothing. >> Okay. Talk to him. >> Is this your guys's product? She's saying that it's >> build up on the build up from over here. >> Okay. >> Shoes is not >> not your guys'. >> No. And then whatever those headphones aren't either the B uh BT21s. Let me ask them. Okay. You say American Eagle, so I'm assuming No. How about some shoes or the uh headphones? >> No, those aren't from here. >> Okay. That's just the first bag. So, >> yeah. What bag was she putting it in? >> Uh those the >> So, both of the duffel bags. So, not this one. >> Ah, okay. Okay. >> Whose stuff is this? That's my >> Oh, not not to that part yet. >> Oh, all right. My bad. >> And you said so the the only thing out of that bag is the coats. >> I promise you. >> Okay. Is there anything in her bags? >> I don't know. That's stuff that's our stuff that's in in the bag. >> Besides the the coat is theirs. >> Other than that, it's that's our stuff. >> Okay. >> Our mom is not. >> And is there anything in that bag that we need to know about that belongs to the store? >> Okay. Um, it's okay. Do just just let it here. >> I just want to know if you just >> Okay. So, just don't open that right now. >> Since the girl in the gray hoodie had already admitted she had a warrant, the officers moved in to place her under arrest. Real smart move. Shoplifting with an active warrant. >> Is that her? >> Oh, yeah. That's her. And she told me she had put away warrants as well. She was like, "Man, I have warrants for theft." >> Shake, whatever. >> Okay. Here, go and set up for going to jail. >> We're going to take you in on those warrants. >> No, babe. >> And she's got a felony warrant. >> Please. No. >> Are those your shoes? >> Yes. They're Jordans. >> They're brand new. >> They're mine. >> Uh, what other Is it just this bag? >> It's just that coat. >> The other stuff is not from >> I'll be honest. I'm not going to believe what you're saying right now. These two bags, not this one. >> These two? >> Yeah. These two right here. >> I'm being honest with you. The only thing that belongs to him is their home. >> Were those warrants confirmed? >> Yeah, they did. >> They they confirmed them. >> Give me a second. >> Hold off on this search. Let's make sure they're confirmed and we didn't just run her name and get warranted. 2144. The warrants for Johnson. Were they ever confirmed at all? >> While some shoplifterss act all entitled and push their luck with the cops, these ones took a different route. Lying through their teeth while already having multiple warrants. The wallets. >> Oh, the wallets. Oh, darn. She lied. >> Yeah, the wallets here. >> Oh my god, it smells terrible in here. >> Do you guys mind getting like a dollar amount? >> Sick. All right. Well, you lied. Like I knew you did. >> About lied about what? >> Cuz there's two wallets in there and there's a watch in there. >> Oh, that was a >> Well, I didn't know. >> That's why I always check. >> Okay. Well, I wasn't. >> Yes. Good. Okay, they're confirmed. So, she is under arrest now for sure. So, if you want to continue, you search her, take her, you know, the bags, all that kind of stuff. >> And the boots, the snake skin boots. >> I think you had like five shoplifting warrants. >> Four. Sorry. >> Probably getting real rough to give you a break if you got five, >> but two shots. >> I have I have court. I'm not trying to get in your bed. I'm just trying. >> After going through all her stuff, the officer then moved the last shoplifter in the squad car. >> Uh, so we are going to end up taking you >> partially that but mainly from us. Okay. There's a lot of stuff that you know and like I said I'm going to be straight up for honest with you. Okay. >> Bonnie like uh I guess Bonnie like confirmed. >> In addition to their existing warrants, they were both charged with theft and trespass from the store. Moving on to the next case where this woman gets caught after spending 7 hours stealing from a store. >> I'm ready to pay for the merchandise and leave the store. >> No, I don't know why you keep repeating that. >> It's May 1st, 2025. Police get to a Target after a woman attempted to walk out with thousands of dollars in unpaid merchandise after spending hours inside the store stealing items. This is uh what happened when the officers arrived at the store. >> How much we looking at? >> More than $300. >> Okay. She ripped all the tags up. >> Hello. How are you? >> Hi. >> Thank you. So, this is Annayia. This is the info she gave me. Um, she said she does not have an ID on her. She's been in the store about 7 hours or so. She said she's waiting for someone to pick her up. She's visiting here. >> Okay. Hey guys. Um, she said she doesn't live here. She's from India. She's with family. They're coming to pick her up still a few times. Um, so basically she's been in the store. We've been watching for at least 4 hours. She's taken a ton of merchandise, different kinds. We're getting a total right now for you. It'll be well over 500, I'm sure. >> No, it'll be more. >> You're right. >> Um, and she put them all into big three reusable bags. And then she kept getting really close to the door. She'd stand there. She'd send her phone about three times she did that. And then she came back into the store, went shopping, and then eventually we just stopped her because she passed the first set of doors, went into the vestibule, stopped her in the vestibule, brought her back here. She's saying that she was still planning to pay for it. Um, >> okay. What do you guys want done? >> We're going to prosecute stuff and trespass. >> Okay. >> So, the woman just finished stealing and she thought she could walk through the front door with a card full of unpaid merchandise. Not the brightest move, if I do say so myself, >> but let me just pay for it and not >> That's That's not happening. So, you don't have an ID on you or anything like that? >> No, >> no driver's license. >> No, no, I don't drive here. Also, >> 641 repeating. >> So, you don't have any sort of Illinois ID, anything like that? >> I'm not from this country. >> Okay. Well, there's a lot of people who aren't from this country, but still have stuff. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have a middle name? >> No. I can only do is I don't mind paying for it, everything, and then leaving. >> No, that's not happening. can't do that. We lost that opportunity. >> Why can't I just pay for it? >> We're way way way past that. >> You committed a felony. >> But if I'm paying for it, what is the harm? >> It would have been fine if you didn't leave, right? You would have had that opportunity to pay. But because you left the store at at that point, you chose to not pay for it and we can't go back. That already happened. >> I'm afraid no record for last name Alani first Anna. I'll check online. You don't have to have like a town or anything, do you? >> Where do you live? India. >> Who Who are you staying with right now? Where does your family live? >> Family is in India. >> How'd you get here? >> On the flight? >> On the flight? >> Yeah. >> So, you're here by yourself? >> Yeah. >> Okay. [clears throat] >> They let you fly over without a passport. >> Of course, I have one. >> You have a passport with you? It's on. How do I copy the passport and roam around? >> Okay. What's your passport? >> I don't have a passport right now. >> So, okay. You flew here from India to America. >> Exactly. But the passport is not with me in this bag. >> Do you have a Do you have a picture of it? >> Still thinking she can bargain her way out of being arrested like it's some kind of marketplace. She continued to beg not to put her in jail. Sadly, it's all too late for that. Listen, >> I don't want to get into any trouble. >> Yeah, we're we're it's too late for that girl. Pull up your passport. >> No, but then what am I supposed to do? >> That's none of my business. I don't know. You shouldn't have been stealing stuff. >> I've not yet done anything. >> Oh, you have. Pull up your passport. >> For what? What do I do? >> Okay. So, you can pull up your passport now or we're going to take you back to the station and you can pull up your passport there. >> Please don't. I'm really >> It's really It's too late. Can you please just pull up your passport? >> You just You promised me that nothing is going to happen. >> I did not promise you anything. >> Of course, you said that nothing. You'll once we do this thing, you can leave. I No. I said as soon as we're done with our reporting, we'll try to get you out of here as soon as we can. >> Yeah. You said you did not >> You won't be allowed to. >> We're not going to fight with him. We're not arguing. >> We're not going to fight with him. >> It's too late. >> So, what do you want me to do? >> I need you to pull up your passport. I need to see valid identification for you >> and then >> and then you will be going back to the station with us. I need to see your identification. >> Please don't take me. >> That's that's simply not going to happen. You don't get to have that choice anymore. You made you made lots of poor choices today and now you have to pay for those. said he's not going to put me in the station. >> Well, that's not He doesn't work for us. I don't know who this man is. >> I'm really sorry. I'm ready to pay for this. >> That's again, I understand you're sorry. I know you're ready to pay for it now, but you didn't want to pay for it then. So, I need you to give me your identification. >> I'm really sorry. >> Please. >> You guys are going to need a receipt. How long? >> I mean, there's a lot of stuff. She's just scanning it all into a receipt. >> But she one second. He promised me that you can leave once it's scanned. >> Simply none of my business. That has nothing to do with our job. >> So, what do you want me to do? >> Passport, please. Thank you. >> So, what are all those other things that you were just swiping by? >> No, that's all Indian documents. >> You can I can have I don't have my I can show you my license here. >> Your license. >> Okay. >> So, who's what's who's who's Jamisha? >> Me. And this is my >> So, who is who? So, who's Anya? >> This is my name also. But this is my Jamisha. You can see my picture. >> Okay. This is B. >> Okay. So, this is So, this is not your first name? >> No. >> Okay, that's nice. >> So, she provided the officers with a false name. That's another charge for her. But somehow, even in this situation, she still thinks she can pay for what she was about to steal and just be done with it. And she made sure the officer knew that repeatedly. >> Listen, please don't please don't embarrass me, ma'am. >> I think your own choices are going to embarrass you. It has nothing to do with me. So, what do I have to do if I have to What do you want me to do? [clears throat] You >> forgot. >> I'm not taking anything. I'm ready to even pay for it. >> It's not does not work like that. I don't know why you keep saying the same thing over and over again. >> So, what do you want me to do? >> I just want you to be quiet for right now. >> I'm really sorry to bother you if it is. I'm really sorry. >> I understand that you're sorry. >> I'm not from this country. I'm not going to be staying here. >> Okay. How far? >> Okay. Are you allowed to steal things in India? >> No. I didn't think so. >> Okay. The minute he came, the minute the door opened, he came. I returned back. I said, "I was just waiting. I've not gone away. How would I even run with his bags? It's m humanly impossible." >> Okay, >> they're almost done. They're at about 767. She ripped a bunch of tags off. So, they're trying to find those. >> 767. If it is that much, I don't mind paying you. >> Nope. We're past that. I don't know which I don't know why you keep saying that over and over again. I told you many times. We are past that. >> So, what do you want me to do, man? I I told you what I would like you to do. >> Do you guys need video tonight? >> I would love to have video. >> I'll study. >> Oh my god, >> Annayia, it's the first time I've sat down in 4 hours. >> Yeah. >> How are you not tired? >> No. >> You've been walking around for 7 hours. >> I'm not even >> Oh my gosh. >> I'm ready to pay for the merchandise and leave the store. >> No, I don't know why you keep repeating that. I told you no. >> So then what do you want me to do? >> I told you you're going to be coming back to the police station with us. >> Please don't do that. >> That's my job. So >> I'm really sorry. >> It's I I understand that you're sorry. >> What do I go to the police station and do? >> Ma'am, you're going to be criminally charged. >> I'm really sorry. >> Okay. >> I don't mind paying for the merchandise. >> Okay. I'm I'm done talking to you because you just keep repeating the same things over and over again. And I keep telling you that that's not an option. We can't do that. So, I'm not going to be acknowledging that anymore because I've already determined that we're not doing that. >> You repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different response is not going to happen. >> One second. He promised me. >> You've already said that. We've already gone over that and it does not matter to me what he said. You still committed a crime regardless of what he said. >> Now, let's watch the undeniable truth of her stealing by looking at the security footage. >> And you have her walking past the last point. >> You want to see it really fast? >> Yeah, sure. I just purchased the merchandise. >> Let me explain. Okay. >> So, this is at 71. >> Had the stuff. Did you go past the double doors? So, >> no. Not once only. >> Okay. >> He immediately. >> Okay. Before I ask you any more questions. Okay. I will explain this to you. In the hospital back. >> Yep. >> A few times. She came up and stopped right here. I think she was seeing if it would beep or not. >> I don't know. And then she went back back in, grabbed more stuff, came back, stood out here, went back. >> Then the last time she went all the way around, came back behind >> did one of these things. >> When you do that, >> did it beep? >> No, she didn't [clears throat] have anything that would have. >> Okay. So, not every money from you. >> They don't want any of that. They want you here. That's why we're talking. And we're not going to take any money from them. We're not going to take any money from you. Okay? We have paperwork that we got to do here. And then we have paperwork that we have to do back at the station. >> Can't the paperwork be done here only? >> Do I need to go to the station? >> Yes, >> this amount I don't mind paying. It's not a Let me finish. >> You're starting to frustrate me. >> We've told you a bunch of times that is not an option. So, please stop saying that. Have you ever seen her before here? >> No. Okay. >> Like a broken record. Kept on repeating the same thing over and over again even though the officer was tired of hearing it and even though they'd already explained everything to her. Huh? >> How do we go to the station >> with us? You'll you'll ride in the car with us >> and then be there for how long >> until until we get the paperwork done. Sometimes it's maybe an hour. >> How do I What do I tell them? >> You can tell them whatever you want. >> You have to at least be helpful. If I've done run away or something, >> I have to be helpful. >> I'm at least you can be I know you all are being very helpful, but I just need to you all to help me first of all not from this country. If I'm not carrying money or something, it's a different thing. I have money to pay also. >> Okay. [snorts] Can he explain that to you? >> I'm sorry that you're from a different country, but like you said, you're not allowed to steal in India either. Most places do not really appreciate thieves. >> Of course, you don't you if you walk out and if I if I walked out and I ran away yet, I'm just coming. He came running. I was like, what's happening? I was on a call. Where are these people? I don't mind paying for it. You can see the video. I don't mind paying for it and finishing it off. I need to take these articles for as gifting. I promise there won't be anything. It's over. I just need to pay and finish it. >> You need to raise it. >> Please let me pay and take this now. >> Thank you. I like this pen. >> She's almost done. >> I'm sorry. >> Can I pay for this and finish it? >> What do you think the answer is going to be? >> I don't know. It's going to be no, just like it was the other 15 times. Walmart has to be >> Can I buy the stuff? >> No. >> No. You're not buying anything. You're not welcome here. You're not welcome to make purchases here. No, they don't want your business. >> After a while, the officer got the receipt for the stolen items. After that, they wrapped up everything and escorted her to the squad car. >> Oh, just kidding. We had the receipt. Oh, >> what's the total amount? >> Or 13 before tax. >> I don't mind paying that. >> Stop. >> Do you want me to hold on until I give you everything else or you want? >> Um, no. I'll take that bag with me cuz I'll have to do the complaints and everything. >> I'm have you take your bag off and put it right here. >> Why? >> Take the bag off and put it right there. I told you what's going to happen. Stand up. >> Nothing on you. >> I think so. >> Nothing on you. No gloves, no knives, nothing like that. Oh, >> Jamisha, just face [music] me. >> Don't move. Just stay where you're at. >> She has a >> Hey, please. Please don't do this. >> Don't resist. It's not going to go well for you. >> But why? >> Just we explained it to you. Okay. When you take things without permission, that's a crime. >> But what do I what do I do now? For how long is it going to be? >> Hang on. >> Huh? >> Okay. Just hang on. Okay. It's probably going to be one maybe 2 hours. Okay. It depends on how quick the paper process works. Please, I'm requesting you. >> Uh, >> okay. >> Do you have the trespass or no? >> I have it all. >> What do I tell the family? >> I don't I don't know what to tell you. >> From here. >> Yeah. Do not resist. You're going to catch an extra charge. Don't do that. Just keep walking. >> What charging? >> 6041. 641. >> Yep. >> It's going to be very embarrassing. Please, ma'am. >> I I understand that it's embarrassing. I wouldn't steal either. It's very It's very embarrassing. >> What do you want me to do now? You're going to go to the station and you're going to be processed. >> Huh? >> You're going to go back to the station. You're going to be criminally charged and processed. >> What do you do in this criminal? What is that? >> You'll have to go to court. >> But at least let me know how do I need to call somebody. >> You You'll need to call somebody later when we're done with all the paperwork. >> But what do those people do to me? Like what do you want me to do? I I need to go back home. >> Well, you should have thought about that. >> Then but I don't if you keep me forever or something. >> No, we're not going to keep you forever. >> Please. I have a daughter who's 20. >> Well, we should have be a better role model, right? >> Yeah, but then please help me. >> I'm not going to help you. Why would I help you? >> Huh? I'm not going to run away. Why are you keeping this? >> Keeping what? >> This going to run away for 30. >> This woman is charged with felony retail theft since the value of the items taken surpassed Illinois's $300 threshold. Moving on to the next case where this shoplifter tested the patience of the wrong cops. What? >> I never ran. >> It's all on camera. It's fine. >> Yeah. >> Really? >> She's running again. She's running again. >> On July 24th, 2024, cops respond to a shoplifting in progress at Walmart. Now, here's what happens when the officer approaches the suspect. Go ahead and step away from that. Put your hands behind your back. You guys are both being detained. Did you mind as well? >> [screaming] >> Turn. Get out and lay on your back. Lay on your back. >> Lay on your back. >> Tell them that I'm fighting one. >> Yeah, I'm not fighting you. >> Yes, you are. >> No, I'm not. >> Don't kill me. Don't quit moving. >> Get up. >> I'm not going for help. >> No. >> No. >> On camera. >> Yeah. You ran away from me. >> I didn't run. >> Yes, you did. Why did I have to tase you twice? >> I never ran. >> It's all on camera. >> Yeah, keep lying to yourself. And props to the bystander for helping the officer detain this young girl. >> Yeah, things never stay on. >> Thank you. >> You don't have any ID on you, do you? >> Correct. >> You going to tell me your ID like who you are? 81. >> What's that? >> Yeah, we are. >> You going to tell me your name? >> Okay, that's fine. You go as a Jane Doe. I have no problem with that. You sure you don't want to give me? If you don't, it's an extra charge. I have no problem doing that. It's fairly identified to a police officer. You don't have to answer any other questions. You just have to tell me first name, last name, date of birth, and an an address. >> After getting her information, EMS arrived to check in on this girl. >> So, she said her name is uh Rodney Gillis. I haven't verified that for sure, but I tased her twice, chased her around over here, and I tackled her, so she might be scuff. >> All right. Are you okay? >> Yeah, I'm fine. >> All right. She's here. >> Yeah, she's in the back seat. >> Are we taking her? >> No. Uh, just Well, yeah. >> Hi, Rodney. So you guys chase her over here? >> No, >> she uh I just chased her around the car for traffic. >> You see that look on her face? She's definitely planning to do something really stupid. And that's exactly what she's about to do. >> 1997 Dodge truck, black in color 2.6 Dixie scaff is expired. Really? She's running again. She's running again. Get me more units out here now. She's running towards the tree line. >> Running through the tree line. Heading towards. She's in the trees. >> Seriously, >> I don't need to go to jail. >> You are going to jail now. Don't move. I will just tase you again. Okay. >> 210 clear. >> Put your other hand behind your back. >> Put your other hand behind your back. I'm not doing this game. Okay. >> Put your other hand behind your back. [sighs] >> You're fine. >> [sighs] >> No, no, >> sorry. >> You ran from me twice. >> Sorry. [snorts] >> Twice. I don't >> I'm over here. Stop. >> Stop. >> Relax and stop. >> I As soon as I get you cuffed, I will let you up. >> Okay. [sighs] >> I'm sorry. Not sorry. >> You ran for me twice now. >> No, I didn't. >> You. >> Huh? >> I didn't run twice. >> Again with the I didn't run. She must not be very bright. Well, if she were smart, she wouldn't be stealing in the first place. And she really hit the maximum of this officer's patience. >> I'm charging with everything I can get. >> I'm with you. >> What? What? What did you just do? What did you just do? >> I'm just scared. >> Oh, whatever. >> Scared. That's bull. Easy. All right. Here. I got her. Take the radio. >> I told him. >> She'll walk. >> I will walk. >> Come on. I'm not any of this worth all this. >> Hell no. Pretty sure escape's going to be another felony. >> Yep. I'm charging with that. >> Cuffs and running. >> No, I am. I am. There's no if ends or buts. You're not going to be able to beg your way out of it. I am charging you with it. >> Oh, you're going to get charged with anything we can think of for the detectives. I did that job for it. >> Well, what the hell did I do? >> You ran after arrested. >> You resisted. >> I'll show you. >> Steal anything. >> Yeah. Well, yeah. >> The carts you pushed out weren't anything. >> That wasn't mine. >> Oh, well, you pushed them out. >> All right, you've had enough rest. Let's go. I gave you more rest than I gave you. Clear one. me right there, guys. >> That knee looked like I was hurting pretty bad, huh? >> You all right? >> Yeah, I'm good. I fell, too. >> No, I g She gave you information, though. >> She was charged with resisting arrest, felony theft, and escape. Moving on to the next case where a sister duo involved in a shoplifting ring get busted in the act. It's June 25th, 2024. Officers responded to a report of two women shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at a Burlington store. When the officer approached the suspect, she immediately tried to play dumb by speaking Spanish, but the officer had a big surprise for her. >> Hey, how you doing? Can I talk to you real quick? >> Can I talk to you real quick? >> All right. Are you here with someone else? >> Okay. All right. Okay. All right. All right. >> All right. >> After confirming the woman was the correct suspect, the officer immediately put her in handcuffs. >> You're saying the other one's inside the store? >> Yeah. >> But this is the correct vehicle. >> Jersey and other people. >> Okay. >> All right. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. >> Stay right here. Stay right here. >> 241 detained. >> Okay. >> 224. Copy a >> copy a California tag. >> Yeah. Don't come with the car. >> All right. Stay staying. >> So, it's ju it's just the two right now. I just need someone to stay with that car because that's where all the merchandise is right now. >> The LP guy already confirmed he I guess he looked in the car while they were in Ross and then she hopped scooted it out over here and got into the car and that's where he um that's where he backed off and was sitting behind. >> Apparently, this wasn't even the woman's first shoplifting attempt of the day. They were part of this organized retail theft ring targeting stores across multiple cities in Florida. Earlier that day, they'd already gone through Ross and Marshalls in the same shopping complex. Even though the officers had only one suspect in custody, they chose to search her before looking for the other. And what they found was shocking >> place. Um, I'm just going to text someone probably the other person inside. >> Does she speak any English or No. >> Okay. >> I'm going to before she goes in the car. >> After finishing searching this woman, the cops turn their attention to the second suspect who's still inside the store stealing, unaware that her partner had already been caught. >> Been caught. >> I have no idea. He's somewhere in the box. >> Sorry. She said no originally, but >> you only have your number. >> No, you have ID. >> You have nothing. How about we empty out your purse? You have anything in here? >> Okay. Nana. Okay. How about you open it? >> How about you open? Open. Open your purse. Let's see what's in there. >> Okay. Okay, I understand you don't understand me, but you know what? Open it. Open. >> Okay, how about we see the translate? I'm asking for you to open it first. >> Do we have a counter or something over here? Or how about this cart? Is yours or from here? >> From here. >> Yeah. Is this yours? No. >> Uh, last name. You have a a pet. >> Full name. >> Okay. >> Huh? >> Yeah. You're going to jail. >> You know mean you know what jail is, right? It's going to go with females. that hurts. >> Double lock. Yeah. Even though both of them ended up in cuffs, this was just the beginning. The total value of stolen goods was over $6,000. 3,134 from Ross, 274 from Marshalls, and 417 from Burlington. As they're in the cop car, they're thinking it's just going to be a judge. They post bond and walk free and probably keep their little shoplifting spree going. But reality had a different plan for him. Free. Oh. Orlando.chech. Argentina containers. Mariana. This woman was living in the US illegally, actively shoplifting thousands of dollars, and had given birth to a child on American soil. Did she really think she can get American citizenship through her child? Well, the officer is about to teach her a lesson. No more detainer. In the end, Both of them are charged with felony retail theft and possession of anti- theft device removal tools. No info on their deportation. You see, in the United States, the 14th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees citizenship to all people born in the United States, which includes the children of undocumented immigrants, which of course doesn't include the parents. Moving on to the next case where these two women get caught trying to flee after stealing thousands in merchandise. Hey, >> you're sitting on a bunch of stolen stuff in the car. >> I didn't steal nothing. No, >> you're sitting on it all. >> No, I was not sitting on it. >> It's May 7th, 2025. Officers get to a report of a shoplifting at TJ Maxx. According to loss prevention personnel, the suspects left the store without paying and fled the scene. Shortly after, the cops were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. [groaning] >> How you know? Step out of the car for me. >> Any I believe it's going to be them. I got three females in the car. I think they're all involved. >> And I thought, "Oh, yes. I don't think >> Where y'all coming from?" Huh? >> What? What? No. Okay, quit. I said step out of the car, didn't I? All right, step out of the car. >> Hey, quit moving around back there. >> Give me another unit here. I've got a bunch of stolen TJ Maxx stuff in the back. >> This stuff you I don't >> passenger, keep your hands on the dash for me. >> You keep your hands on that in front of you. Keep your hands up there in front of you. I said >> she didn't even go in the store. >> I don't care. I got the driver secure and the other two are compliant. Without moving your hands, where's your ID in the car? >> I don't have one. >> Huh? >> I don't have one. >> You don't have one? It's a rental car. It's showing. It's a rental car in your name. >> No, >> ma'am. Keep your hands on the deck. Put your hands up in front of you. I said, I don't care who she's calling. >> You understand? Don't drop your hands. >> As this officer detained the suspect, another officer arrives to detain the rest of the suspects in the car. >> I've got hands up on both of the passengers. >> I If you want to get one of them out, you can. I just didn't want to. I just got a driver out. She's in cuffs right now. So, whichever one you want and then the other one, keep your hands on the cover up. They match the description. So, keep your hands over >> here. Just put it right here and get the other one out and cover her up cuz the other one keeps getting on the phone. Yeah. Hang that phone up. >> Well, we're about to find out. All right. >> Just check pockets or whatever when you walk. >> We'll just need to do a show up whenever they get over there. You have a valid license or no? >> No, sir. >> You on probation? >> No, sir. >> You on probation? Where do you live? >> Where do you live? >> Gainesville. Where do you live? >> Window. >> I'm just I didn't want your hands to come out. You got You got small wrists. >> You got small wrists. So, I just didn't want the cuddly tree. >> You can walk back there, too. All right. I'm going to use the back of my hand just to go over your pockets. Make sure you got Is there any weed or anything on the card you know about? >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. I mean, I can smell it. So, >> all right. again. Back of my hand. Okay, >> I'm not grabbing your butt. >> All right, turn around. Relax. Right here for me. >> Turn around. Relax. >> After they finished detaining all the suspects, they begin to investigate this situation. >> Which TJ Maxx is the stuff in the back? >> They did already call out all three. >> I did not. Do you want to run them and ID him and we can go from there? And you're not on probation? >> I'm not on probation, but I >> You got open case right now? You got a bond >> driving >> for driving out of where? Putnham. Well, you said your Palaca or P. You're from Palaca. Whose name is the car in? >> My sister. I'm already sing. >> You're out here committing new crimes when you get sentenced. They ain't going to like that. Sensed to what? 180 days just for driving. Are you habitual? >> All right. Here. Let's walk back here. Let's get you out of the rain and at least get you drive for now. You don't want to go in the back. >> All right. Can you just um do a full Yeah. Do a search of her, please. I already did the pockets with the back of my hand. But just do a search of her and you put her in there for now. Just get her out of the rain. >> Here, come real quick. >> Do you have anything illegal on you? >> You have anything on you? Just stick >> um I smell weed coming out of there. So, let's uh The driver said that there's weed in there, but let's make sure none of my medical marijuana card and then we can at least get that part out of the way. There's a whole bunch of TJ Maxx stuff in the back with tags all thrown on the floor. So, >> do you have a medical marijuana card? Is there any marijuana in that vehicle? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? Okay. >> Marina, do you have a medical marijuana card? >> Expired. >> Expired. Okay. >> So, the skinny woman's already on probation, but still wanted to commit another crime. While the judge is going to love that, the officers then began to search the car for the stolen items. >> This has still got a sticker on it. >> Um, you see all those clothes in the back? They all have TJ Maxx tag. >> Oh, there's Yeah, they stuffed all the tags. started stuck in the stuffing the tags in the back pocket here. >> So, the back seat passenger sitting on all those, the pregnant one. >> I did ask her, but she's not been yet, but the driver said that they were in the Daytona TJ Maxx before that one. But yeah, you can see there's just TJ Maxx stuff freaking everywhere. Yeah. All this stuff. All freaking tags on it. No bags or no receipts, nothing. Oh, there's all the inventory control devices. Yeah. Watch out cuz they're pointy ends. >> Yeah. >> Here's get drivers in. Do you see a purse or anything else on the front? Is anyone's name? >> Was there any IDs or anything? I mean, look at all those tags right in front of where the one in the back sitting. >> Yeah. >> That are all ripped off. So, the pregnant one was here sitting on all these clothes. >> Okay. >> And right in front of her is all the ripped off tags. >> Which one? Cuz you're saying they're both pregnant. The one in the >> one with just the top. The one that's obvious obvious. >> The one in just the sports bra looking thing. She was here with all the ripped off tags and everything is it's all up there in front of that. >> Did we pop the trunk yet? >> No, we haven't gotten the trunk yet. But they're saying that they were at Daytona TJ Maxx before this one. Where the pregnant one in the back was sitting is one of those metal tags. So like they're popping. Now the officer came to the other two suspects to confront them about the merchandise. And what did they do? Try to deny it. Girls trying to argue while sitting on stolen goods is both bold and dumb. >> So, you're the only one that doesn't have a prior theft commission, but you two have lots lots of theft. >> Hey, you're sitting on a bunch of stolen stuff in the car. >> I didn't steal nothing. No. >> You're sitting on it all. >> No, I was not sitting on it. I swear. >> You were in the back seat, right? >> But that was not my stuff. >> I know. But all this all this clothes right here, you were literally when you got out of the car, you it was behind you. You were sitting on I literally asked the lady that just took her. I told her when I was sleep I was laying down on I was not hiding them. I swept over. >> So all of it was You were laying on top of all that. >> No, not like to hide it. But I was using this cushion to like what? >> And the other thing is all the stolen all the tags that are all pulled off are all right in front of where you're sitting in the back. >> I swear for God that was not me, sir. >> I mean, you need better friends than I imagine, right? >> But they told you I was not I wasn't stealing. Like I wasn't stealing. Like that man can confirm. We go watch those videos. >> Yeah. You didn't You weren't in there. Correct. >> But how? >> But you're on top of all the stolen property and stuff. >> No, that was not my stuff. It wasn't like that. That's what I'm trying to say. It was not like that. >> But you're going with them from store to store and they're stealing stuff. >> I was in the back seat. I was not stealing stuff. >> I know you're not getting out, but you're in the car with them going store to store. >> I did not know, sir. I swear. Oh, God. I did not know. >> Okay. You got to check it up with the deputy that's investigating it. We need to ask him. Uh, we'll talk >> after that. The officer warned him about the previous crime. the other two had committed. >> So, the deputy that's investigating it is dropping the witness back off at the store and then they'll come up here and talk to you. But you're under arrest for sure. Are you out on bond right now? Cuz you got a bunch of theft history in tons of tons of different counties. So, this is a felony for you. For both of them, for you and the girl driver >> real felony? >> Yeah. They've been arrested like she been arrested a bunch for stealing. >> Like 10 times probably. >> Only one I know is one that's bad though. She met arrested a bunch for stealing, too. But you're in the car. You're involved in this. >> Yeah, you're in it whether you want to be or not. I don't think so. Toshi's done. I'm just waiting on them to I got all the stolen property inside the car. They still got to take back to TJ Maxx. Apparently, it was stolen from a different TJ Maxx like in Daytona. All that, all that, that. I tested the weed for them. Like a bunch of hats from like Hobby Lobby. So, let me ask you before this cuz they're pulling all the Daytona store video. Were you in Daytona store? >> No, sir. >> TJ Maxx? >> No, sir. >> Hobby Lobby? >> No, sir. You sure? You never went in any store? >> That's the guy. No, sir. >> Was she in any of these stores? >> No. >> We're going to find out if you were all going. >> Yeah, you need to get good pictures of her before you cut her loose. >> Let me take a picture. >> Yeah, just take the two and be done with it. >> The women were charged with possession of an anti-shoplifting device and grand theft. With two prior theft convictions, the total value of merchandise stolen from multiple TJ Maxx locations exceeded $1,000. Moving on to the next case where this woman thinks she's entitled to steal. >> Sit down, >> sir. What is your I know my rights. I know my rights, sir. >> Turn around. >> Hold on. No, I'm not turning around now. >> I'm not turning around. >> It's February 27th, 2024. Officers get to a shoplifting incident at a local Target. Here's what happened when the police approached the suspect. >> Belongings. This is my belongings. >> Keep your hand out of the bag. Put it down. Put the phone down and give me an ID. >> An ID for what, sir? >> Ma'am, I will place you under arrest. And it's just my Okay. >> They told me at Target you you stole a bag of stuff. >> I didn't steal anything, sir. >> Okay. Don't argue with me. Just give me your ID and we'll figure this out. >> I didn't steal anything, sir. I'm sorry to tell you that. I'm a regular citizen. I'm on the phone with my mom. I didn't do anything wrong. >> Your ID? >> I don't have an ID, sir. >> I do not have an ID. >> Ma, can you come to um first place right here? Cuz I'm being harassed by a officer. What is your name, sir? >> Sit down. >> What's your name? >> You got a 94? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Just from the 196. >> Yeah, cuz I'm being harassed. I literally just came like literally just came out of first watch and now officer Justice. What is your badge number, sir? >> Sit down, >> sir. What is your B? I know my rights. I know my rights, sir. >> Yeah, they all say that. And calling your mom hoping it'll make the officer back off. No, not going to happen. And the moment she realized she couldn't BS her way out of it, she bolted like a raccoon caught stealing snacks at midnight. >> Hold on. No, I'm not turning around now. I'm not turning around. What the hell? Go 131. We're in front of police station. All right, we're going to follow you. >> Stop running. >> All right, >> I didn't do anything. Hold on. >> Can I call my mom? I didn't do >> Ow. >> Sir, I didn't do anything wrong. >> I have a two kids. I didn't do anything. >> We'll have her in custody of FedEx. >> Sir, I didn't do anything wrong. >> Put your hand behind you back. >> All right. My mom is on the phone. >> I don't care. >> I got you. >> Turn around. >> Because you trying to detain me and I didn't do anything. >> Sir, please be gentle. I just got served. >> That's your fault. I didn't do anything wrong. >> If you didn't do anything wrong, you shouldn't have run in the first place. And the officers were having none of this BS. >> You wanted the detective for no reason. >> On the Boulevard. We got her. >> Anybody else? >> Sir, >> shut up. >> Y'all trying to accuse me of >> Stop talking. >> And I just literally came out of first one. >> Stop talking. >> Can you put my shoe on? Y'all just scaring me. My brother died from the police off. >> Okay. >> All right. Y'all scaring me. Of course, I'mma run away. Just >> Man, get off. Stop talking. You >> stop talking. >> I didn't mean to tell you to stop. >> My body. >> Stop talking. Turn around. >> My phone. >> Turn around. >> Ow. My phone. >> I'm not worried about that. >> Sir, I didn't do anything wrong. Oh, up and in. >> Can you please give me my sit down? Sit down and in. >> Can you please get >> sit down and then? >> Sir, please. I will cooperate. I just want to talk to my mom. >> You're not talking to no one. You're under arrest. >> All right. >> With her act of fleeing, there's no way she'd be able to lie her way out of this now. But she still tries. Please, ma'am, can I just please call my mom? That's my phone right there. I just need to let her know what's going on. >> But I first I need you to pat you down. >> Okay, ma'am. Can I tell you the reason why I ran? >> Yes. >> Because I felt like I was being questioned and I didn't do anything wrong. >> Questioned by who? >> By that by that officer right there. >> Okay. So, were you not just at Target? >> Yes, I was in Target. >> Did you do anything at Target? Be aware. Don't lie. Because there are cameras everywhere. >> Yes, ma'am. So, if there's a reason why we're interacting with you, it's because there's a reason. So, think about what you did at Target that would have had us look for you specifically because you're very specific. You have red braids. You know what I'm saying? So, why what did you do at Target? >> I just met up with my friend at Target. She handed me a bag and I came in here and first w to use the bathroom. Just naturally anything else? >> No, I just have just naturally run through the place. >> No, I was just scared, bro. I just got out of jail like two months ago over the same >> anything on you. >> No, it's just a bra. I am sure. >> Hey, we got to do a show up or anything like that? >> We're doing it now. >> You're not going to have stolen merchandise in that bag that your friend gave you? >> No, ma'am. Not that I'm aware of. I promise you that. >> Not that you're aware of or not? Or you know for sure it's not going to be stolen? >> I haven't even looked inside. What was she saying that you were meeting up for? She just >> And can you write it down, please? >> Yeah. >> What's your name? >> I want to speak to her. She just came out of >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Hi. This is Officer Bramley with the Hollywood Police Department. Um, your daughter, we just stopped her and detained her because apparently she was stealing at Target. They were looking at her right now. They were looking at her through the cameras as she was placing things into her bag and she walked out of the business with all the stuff that she had stolen. Okay. >> Okay. So, I will call you back as soon as we make a decision or we figure out what's going on. She started running from the police and that's how we >> get too old for this. Who held the door open? She just ran right into the police department. >> We need a complaint. We don't need the shoplifting, right? >> That's fine. I'll have her list it all over here. Thank >> In the end, she's charged with resisting without violence and petite theft. Now, let's move on from the mall to Walmart where a shoplifter went bazooka on the police after getting caught stealing. >> They want charges pressed and it's over 750 which makes it a felony. I can't [screaming] >> stop. >> Settle down. >> An officer responded to a Walmart after a woman tried to push out an entire cart full of items. What happened next was anything but routine. >> She tried to push out. We're getting the trainer receipt right now. >> Okay. >> You have your ID on you? >> I don't have my >> What's your first name? >> K A L L I E. >> K A L L I E. >> Yes. She's um she's doing smart. >> Okay. I wouldn't be able to tell between >> about that cuz like in reality, they could just grab whatever they want to load up. Does >> he know if it's over 750? >> Is it over 750? 1300. >> 1300. That's a felony amount. With that amount, the officer began to put the woman under arrest. But that's easier said than done. >> Okay, go ahead and stand up. You're going with me. They want charges pressed and it's over 750, which makes it a felony. >> Yeah. And stand up. Come on. I can't. >> I'm sorry. I can't. >> Well, you're going to have to. No. I can't. I can't. >> Do not fight me. >> I can't. I'm >> I will tase you if you do not stop. >> Turn around. Please. It's like you're doing this. >> [laughter] >> I >> Well, that was weird. She should have expected this outcome when she decided to steal. It's really quite simple. If you can't go to jail, don't break the law. [screaming] >> Why are you trying? >> Because you know, I can't do it. [crying] >> Would you like to talk to me and slow down? >> [laughter] >> I can't. >> You can't settle down. >> I can't go to jail. I can't go to jail. I can't. >> Calm down. I can't go to jail. Nope. The only place she will end up is jail. But that doesn't stop her from trying to fight her way out of being arrested. >> I've tased her twice. >> I can't help. I can't. I can't go. Stay your [ __ ] ass down near me. >> Give me the cups. >> They're over there. >> I don't. [screaming] >> Stop. >> Settle down. >> Stop. >> No. Where are your >> Come on. No, [screaming] no, no. No, no, no. >> Pay attention. This is what an exorcism looks like in real life or bathing a cat or fighting off a rabid raccoon. Either one is fine. All jokes aside, since she was fighting the officers too much, the officers gave her another zappy zap to calm her down and handcuffed her. [screaming] >> I will tase you if you don't put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Look, you're going to get tased again. Put your hand behind your back. Get your hand behind your back. >> I will tase you again. >> She acts like she has seizures. She hasn't once had a seizure this whole time. What's in our purse? >> 1071 reference whiskey fox drive >> taser three drives thunder three times >> drives st done three times. >> Y'all want me to run that video for you? >> Three copies. She had those. She threw them. She's fine. She's breathing. >> Wiry little thing. >> I was sping her a good bit before you came in. Can I get my radio to go out? >> Yeah, I was right there at the red light. >> She had those. She threw them. >> Stop. >> It's crazy as hell. She has a >> 54. I got him, buddy. Thank you. >> Here's my I'm going to need a drink after this one. As the officers waited for EMS to come and check on her, they gave her some advice that she should take to heart. >> Where am I? >> You're not getting up. >> You're not going nowhere. >> Do not do it again. >> What? >> Well, it's all done and over with. >> It's all on camera. >> You're in cuffs. >> What is >> We got EMS coming to check you out. Then you're going to jail. >> I can tell you fighting like that gives you another charge. You you need to think about the things you do before you do them. >> I just can't help but react that way for some reason. It just it doesn't even matter if it's physical automatically. It just the the mental the >> I'm sorry you had that kind of issues in your life. >> Talking about how I react to >> when you do illegal things there's a good chance we're going to get involved which means you got to understand it. There's a good chance you going to jail. There's so many resources you can go to that can give you food and stuff like that for your family. I don't know what was in your buggy, but for $1,300 worth of stuff is a lot. >> Okay. There are organizations that can help you with that. >> And this isn't your first time cuz they have multiple times of Putnham and Gainesville of pictures of you doing the same thing. >> Like I said, I'm fly my pet. Seizures. Seizures don't make you feel. >> After a while, the EMS arrived to get her cleared before transporting her to the station. >> She says she has had a seizure, >> but the whole time they're fighting, she had a seizure. >> Oh, I'll tell her at the hospital. >> I've already told her she climbed up the wall. >> The woman was charged with resisting arrest and felony shoplifting. Let's move on to the next case where shop leaders realized they're screwed. >> Put your hands up and walk back. >> On the 23rd of July, 2025, officers responded to a theft call from Dick's Sporting Goods after several individuals decided to treat the store like their personal clearance event, walking out with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and speeding off. It didn't take long for the officers to track down their getaway car and follow the suspects. >> Thank you. >> Coming out the vehicle, Michigan RQ50 Tom 85. They're not stopping road 99. As these officers were still pursuing the suspects, one officer at the store tried to gather information from the employee. >> Hi, you the one that called? Okay, I think we got them.
