Well, I'm going to need you to put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest for DIY. Okay. >> Are you >> Come on. Don't Don't do this. >> Get off me. >> You're abusing me. LEAVE ME ALONE. >> GET IN THE CAR. OH MY MY. A crash is already bad enough, but these drivers somehow found a way to take an accident and turn it into an even bigger disaster. Welcome to Police X10, where attitude meets authority. Here are the times when dumb drivers turn a crash into a complete disaster. Starting with this Methany, who tried to lie to the officer after causing a serious crash. You there weren't paying attention and you just didn't see the stop sign. >> Oh, no. I was paying attention. >> So, I'm going to go over there and mark there. >> You are going to be >> Welcome to July 18th, 2023. And cops get to a serious crash between two vehicles. What is happening here? >> I don't know. I don't know what it was. >> If it's skinned, it's going to leave marks. So, you either weren't paying attention and you just didn't see the stop sign and you ran through it. >> Oh, no. I was paying attention. >> So, I'm going to go over there and check the skate mark there. >> You are going to be >> Were they okay or what's status of them? >> There are injuries for sure. >> Yeah. >> I don't know. >> How bad? when I when I crashed um like I was capable of reaching to my to my doors and I I basically like hell out of the car and my first instinct was to run and see if she was okay cuz I wanted to make sure like she's conscious and wasn't stuck, you know. So I ran over, you know, to her and she was capable of crawling out and she was talking about her dog and is her her dog is okay, right? Okay. >> But I ran up and then I came back and you know he was talking conscious and he was like I just I >> How about your passenger? This is Bradley. He's a really runner. >> I don't know about you guys, but she sounds higher than a kite. Maybe the cop will find something when they run her profile. >> Question, Britney. >> Yeah. >> Is that you're in rehab? >> Um, no. No. I go to clinic. >> Okay. Methodone. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Have you had any use today? No. Okay. >> When you were standing there, why were you when I was watching you having very difficult time balancing? cuz I'm shaky. Like >> I'm I'm not intoxicated. I did not make it to the clinic this [snorts] morning due to not >> receiving my driver's call. I go through bail. >> Okay. >> And you can look into that if >> No, I I I'm not arguing you with you on that. But these are obviously my concerns, >> right? So, are you willing to do some field test for us up at the hospital? >> As far as >> as far as okay to drive a vehicle, >> right? >> I mean, yeah. >> Okay. >> I mean, I haven't had I'm I'm shaky cuz I'm I have bad anxiety, depression, and I'm in shock. Like, >> so I'm going to send an officer up there. >> Okay. >> To meet you there. >> Hold on. Why don't you get her in the car? Do not leave yet, though. >> Okay. Once at the hospital, the officer continues with the investigation. >> I went to go press the brake, you know, like I normally would. And um >> I don't >> feed off with 229. >> Press the brake. >> You can show me back out at the crash scene. I don't know if maybe I slipped and pressed the gas or I >> don't know what happened, but bottom line, I went through the stop sign and the other car was going this way. You know, I'm going this way. >> And you guys kind of t-boned. >> T-boned. Her vehicle flipped and like while the air I've got pretty good reaction time. While the airbag was going off, I pulled a belt >> door and I kind of pushed my way out of the airbag >> and I fell out of the car and I ran over to the other person's vehicle to see if she was stuck, if she was okay, you know, like I kneel down and I was like, "Are you okay? Are you conscious?" You know, who's all in the vehicle? And then I came back to my vehicle and >> Britney. Britney, who's all in your car? >> And Jesse Burns. >> Okay. And Britney, um, I'm just looking at your arm there. Can you roll your sleeve up for me a little bit? >> Oh god. Ouch. >> Britney, when's the last time you used? >> Um, actually, it's been quite some time. I've been having um I know I I do have old track marks. Um >> I have had a couple slip ups since I've been out. My probation officer is aware of it. I've been honest with her every time. And we have 911, >> you know, a contract with that and everything where if I have a dirty UA, I do um >> community service. I'm in the process of doing community service. doing good though? >> I have been doing good. >> What can I ask what your drug of choice was? >> Um >> both >> um not so much but more so >> When's the last time you >> um quite some time? I'm not a big fan. It doesn't sit well with me. >> If I had a like a breath test, you know, like for alcohol, shows what alcohol you're at. You haven't had anything to drink for alcohol? >> No, I have not. >> What would it show for? It's going to And it picks up. It's pretty if it is, it'd be pretty accurate within the last it >> 24 hours, 48 hours. >> It shouldn't it shouldn't show up with anything, honestly. I >> uh because it's narcotic she's taking, not alcohol or, you know, who knows? Maybe both. Let's Let's see if it's both. >> I Britney, I would like for you to be honest with me. When when is the last time you used >> um honestly when my last PO visit which was >> I'm going to When's the last time you used today? >> A little bit. No, I didn't use today. I did not use today. I'm just shooken up from everything going on. I didn't even make it to the methodone clinic today. Um my PO had asked me if I use um the third 239. >> Can you look at me real quick? >> Okay. Your eyes are pinpoint right now. >> Yeah. I just got into a car accident. >> That's not what car accidents don't cause that. Causes that. >> I'm not on any I haven't had any I've had >> any oxycottton any sort of downer like that. Narcotics. >> Did you take Oxycottton today? >> I had not today. No, I've had nothing today. run or anybody. >> Don't eat your arms. >> These don't look like old. >> These are broken looking because I scratched. I get rashes. I swear on my life. I'm sober. I've been doing good. >> Let me ask you this, Britney. And do you have kids? >> I do have kids. How old are they? My son is 14 now, I believe, and my daughter is eight. >> Your 8-year-old daughter, you obviously love her. I Yes. I >> would you would you drive the car under your current condition if she was in it right now? >> I'm not ahead of >> I'm not 9126. >> I'm honestly that's not what I asked you. I asked would you drive the car into your current condition if your daughter your 8-year-old daughter's in it >> like right now pre 031. >> Okay. >> On a scale of 0 to 10, zero being completely sober, 10 being the highest you ever been, where would you place yourself on that? >> I don't know. I haven't been high today. >> Can you answer that question? Between zero and 10, where would you place yourself on that scale? >> A one. >> Okay. And what would the one be? >> I I smoked some weed. >> Okay. When did you smoke weed? want. >> We are close today. But I have not smoked anything yet today. >> If you if it just weed. >> Is it just weed? >> Yes. >> That's all you use today? >> And yes. How long ago did you smoke weed? >> If it's not If it's just one 3 4 in the morning. >> 3 4 in the morning. >> Yes. I woke up early. I've been, you know, >> my situation has been rough. >> With all the signs showing that she's clearly under the influence of something, the officer asks her for some sobriety tests. >> I would like to do some exercises out here >> to make sure you're safe to drive the car. Can we do that? >> Yes. >> Just follow with my uh your eyes only. Okay. Do you have any questions? >> I'm like really shaky. Like I just got into an accident. Like >> I know. Do you have any questions regarding it though? >> No. >> Okay. Well, you can begin if you're ready. >> One. >> Keep your arms on your sides. >> Two. Three. >> Arms on your sides. >> Four. Five. Six. Seven. >> Are you willing to do a breath sample? >> Not yet. >> Okay. I have a lot of the alcohol tubes. I don't want to use I only have one of the drug tubes cuz they're expensive. I want you to be honest with me. What's going to pop up? Um, >> well, I have a question for you. >> Okay. >> In all honesty, so my significant other Bradley, the one that was in the car accident with me, he does do >> Got it. >> Um, obviously we kiss, we make out. Like we just had sex before we left. the place we were at. Um, is that going to affect like >> it's going to pick up if you used it? >> Well, I mean, he uses it. I don't prefer to use it anymore because I >> know that's what I'm saying. When did you last take a puff of it? Not even like getting high off of it. Just using it a little bit is what I'm asking. >> I I personally don't use it, but I'm by him that uses it. But I'm not He doesn't like But I kiss him. That's my concern. That's >> Oh, yeah. Kissing all kinds of people get those drugs in your system. I've never heard of that excuse. Maybe with, you know, other stuff, but man, these body cams are wild. The more she tries, the guiltier she sounds. >> Okay. >> Are you willing to submit a sample into this? >> It's not really fair because he uses it and it's like, >> you know, >> this one just testes for alcohol. >> Okay. Yeah. Well, yeah. Just keep blow till you hear a click. Oh, >> long steady blow till you hear a click. Okay. >> So, you're going to wrap your lips around and go till you hear a blow or hear a click. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, you're I don't You're not >> Can I get a I'm sorry. You got to do a long steady blow. >> I'm trying. >> Okay. About one second. All right. No, you got to go. With the alcohol one out of the way, it's time for the drug test. And that scares her so much she admits to having drugs in her system. >> For the as far as the drug one goes, what's Can we Can we walk over here? Can you follow me? >> You're scared that could possibly be in your blood because >> Well, here's the >> because you kissed him. >> Oh my god. Um, I had I had been honest with my kid about losing this last month. Um, >> I'm talking about today, Britney. I need you to be honest with me. >> Not today, but I don't know how much it has. >> So, you're scared that it's going to be in your system, though? Well, it's going to be in my system because I I have used it since, you know, and I >> When did you use it? >> Um, I want to say a week ago, a week and a half ago, somewhere in there. So, it's probably in my system. I was honest with my PO about it, you know. >> All right, Britney, I'm going to um I'm going to place you under arrest. Okay. I think you're showing signs of impairment. I'm going to place you under arrest for that. Okay. >> I'm not. >> I know. Can I have you place your hands behind your back for me? >> Can I speak my mother? Can you be careful with my I'm injured. >> Okay, let's um >> Yep. Yep. Yep. Let's Britney, let's go inside. We'll get you medical treatment. Let's go get you medical treatment. Okay. >> You know, I really I don't want my mom worrying. She's she has really bad health. Please let me talk to her. >> It's going to have to be a minute. Okay. I have to get this stuff done first. >> Like I don't like I'm not impaired right now. I have not. >> I understand you think that. I think you are though. If you're showing signs of >> Okay. >> If anything, I'm going through withdrawal because I haven't had my methodone this morning. Like, I'm not >> Okay. I'm not using like I did mess up about a week ago and then I got mistakes happen >> and I've been honest with my probation about it and >> Britney uh if we're going to keep talking I have to read you your rights. Okay. Can I do that? >> Um >> after speaking to her for a bit more the officer brought her in for a medical check. >> Has she taken the test yet for spread or >> Yes. >> And was it clean? I I there was indicators of impairment. Um so that's that's the call I made on that. Um >> so can you tell if it's alcohol or drugs or >> it's not? She blew zeros. So there's no alcohol on board. >> Would the drugs be the methadone? >> Um she said she didn't take methodone today. >> Take methodone today. But here's the thing. It has a halflife. It stays in your system. But also when I don't take it today, you start to withdraw at the same time. I just got into a major car accident. I'm shaky, >> which again is the root of the issue car accident >> and I'm it's being said that I'm impaired because of it. I've got high blood pressure, high anxiety, and >> yeah, >> Britney, a big part of this, too, is I I just interacted with you a couple months ago, and you looked clean and you looked healthy back then. You You're not looking like that right now. >> My life has been really rough lately. >> I know. >> And [clears throat] but that doesn't mean that I've been out and about using and this and that. I've had a couple. Oopsies. >> But when I when I talked to you, I didn't even see those track marks on your arms. I mean, they those aren't those don't look old. >> Some of these are from getting peacon troughs at my clinic, >> but they don't do it in a line following the vein is what I'm saying. Wait, what's going on right there? What is this? Oh, the other way. >> Where? >> Flip your arm up. >> What is that? >> That >> That's from the accident, I think. >> What? What are all these going up following the vein? that that's from them trying to hit at the clinic. Like I've had blood tests and other things being done on top of my rashing up which I've seen medical for at my clinic. All right. >> In the end, she's charged with owi causing great bodily harm and failure to stop at a stop sign. Moving on to the next case here where a driver with an anger issue meets a nononsense cop after a crash. >> What? Get out my face. Do you think you're special? I'm a shoe of you. Get on my face. Well, if you give me a few minutes, let me go see if they have video. Um, if they have any video, they should. >> That's why the guy said you drove all the way down to the end. >> Oh, beautiful. If they did that, you're good. >> 45 and 5:00. >> So, my receipt, it says when I came out of the store, it says 5:00. I was only in there for 15 minutes. >> So, pretty tight. >> You said 4:45 to 5. Yeah, if you want to do 4:40 to 5, but it was in a I I bought four items, so I could have been there. >> That's fine. All right. Um, give me a few minutes. I'm going to go up there if you don't mind hanging tight here so I can get some photos afterwards and I'll bring you back your information. Okay. I'm going to just go see if I can get some video first to see what's going on. >> Yeah, no problem. >> After talking with the victim, the officer immediately located the suspected vehicle at the residence. >> Is your wife home? Why? >> Okay, we need to speak with her about an incident that happened. Is the dog friendly? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Don't shoot. >> No. >> No. No. I'm just asking. I'm just asking. >> Yeah. >> Do you own this vehicle here? >> Yes. >> Were you at Walmart earlier today? >> No. >> You weren't? >> No. >> Okay. Is there a reason why there's video of your vehicle at Walmart the other earlier today around 4:45ish? >> No. >> What time is it right now? >> It is 6:30. >> I've been here the whole time. >> Is there somebody that would have been that would have taken your vehicle? Her vehicle's been here the whole time, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, there's no other reason why somebody would have your vehicle. >> No. >> And they'd be going to Walmart? >> No. >> Does anybody have access to your vehicle? Any extra keys? >> Real quick. Yep. >> I understand. You got a lot of question. What happened at Walmart? >> So, your vehicle is video recorded at Walmart hitting another vehicle and fleeing the scene >> at Walmart today. >> At Walmart today. >> So, all we're looking >> out of the vehicle, >> this rear side. So there's damage consistent as well here. Okay. And we have photographs proving it. Like I said, there's video. So this is consistent damage with exactly what happened. The all the red damage here, all the damage to the tail light is on the ground at Walmart. Okay. The video shows your vehicle backing out of a spot. >> Okay. Hitting another vehicle and then leaving. >> And there's cameras everywhere that show your tag exactly on on that. So that's why we're here today >> at 44. >> At about 4:45. I'd have to pull the exact time, but that's what happened. So, is there anybody that that would have access to the vehicle? Because at this point, all I need to conduct is a traffic crash. That's why I'm here. >> Okay. >> Class, will they tell the truth? Of course not. They're going to double down on some lies. >> So, I just want to say this. I know you're talking to her. >> No, she just told me you just started off. I'm not going to disrespect you at all, but like come on, man. >> Does that camera work? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> We don't know. That's not our camera. >> Do you Are you the main driver of the vehicle? >> We're both the main. I mean, >> who drives it more often? >> We're both 50/50 the vehicle. >> Okay. So, nobody nobody else would have had access to [music] this vehicle whatsoever. >> I mean, I honestly I honestly don't know. I mean, there was several other people over here. >> Okay. >> There is a key we hang. >> Okay. >> Okay. I and I I see by your old case that you're not trying to listen to what I got to say. But there we had it at uh several people here today. >> Okay. >> And >> are you the sole registrant? So this is you. >> I mean obviously that confirms that. >> Okay. I'm just I'm just asking to confirm with you that there's nobody else that legally owns the vehicle, right? There's no other >> Not legally. No. >> But like we said like we said there's been several people here today. >> We've been having a good time. >> Okay. having a barbecue, having drinks. >> Okay. >> And >> look, if if you don't know who took the vehicle, I'm just going to go about my day and complete my my my investigation. >> Investigation going What does that consist of? >> That's going to consist of trying to figure out who was driving the vehicle when this vehicle crashed into the other one. >> Okay. >> You got your phone on your >> No, I don't. >> I legally don't have to. Here's your registration back. Um, you can pull the record on my name for the rest of my investigation further. Okay. Um, like I said, this vehicle has been observed on video camera footage with the tag committing a crime. Okay. >> Medina. >> Since they insisted, they really didn't know who was driving the SUV. It makes the investigation really difficult. But as it continues, these inconsistencies begin showing up. >> You'd be in contact if >> I'll be in contact. Well, obviously your vehicle's been damaged. Was this damage? >> [ __ ] five cars deep with no [ __ ] proof. Like you >> two vehicles. There is proof. There's proof that your vehicle was in a crash, but not that you guys were in a crash. That's what we're here for is to find out who was driving. Your vehicle was in a crash, right? Your vehicle was in a That's what we're we're determining here. Cuz was this damage here yesterday? >> I've had quite some time. Like I've had y'all lucky there's not like eight, nine people here right now. You know, we've been hanging out. We've been chilling cuz it's Memorial Day weekend. I'm a combat veteran myself. So, we've been [ __ ] partying. >> Of course. And I'm I'm sure that your your witnesses would be more than willing to vouch for you. Correct. >> Witnesses for y'all. >> No, your pe the people sitting here at your house, right? >> Who who >> They're just saying that you've been here, right? >> Who who going to witness for y'all? >> I'm just asking. >> No, no, no. My people. >> Okay, that's >> my people not going to witness for y'all. >> I'm not asking them for the future. We not helping [ __ ] that's just trying to hurt us. >> Like, nobody's had nothing. If one of them did, you know what? You gonna do your investigation. >> Wait, I have to conduct my traffic investigation because this vehicle was involved in a car crash. >> Okay. Whether whether or not you guys know who was driving or not, the video shows that this tag and this vehicle were involved in a crash. Okay? Does that make sense? That's why I'm here. >> We hear what you're saying. I mean, I don't got no hater blockers like you do, but like we hear what you're saying. >> All right. Well, you guys have a better day. Like I said, I'm going to conduct >> We've been having a great day till y'all pulled up. So, it ain't about a better day. Y'all have a better day. Y'all have a better day. Like I said, here that y'all not worried about. You know what I'm saying? That that y'all letting run [ __ ] Like, come on, man. Y'all >> You know what? Somebody could have grabbed it, >> and I could be completely wrong, >> okay? >> But I just have issues with people. >> I'm not here accusing you guys of doing it. I just want to know who might have been driving the vehicle because the vehicle was clearly involved in a crash. >> Yeah. >> So, I'm not here accusing you guys of driving the vehicle. I have to ask and say, "Hey, were you driving the vehicle, >> right?" Cuz that's the point of finding this out, >> right? >> I don't I'm not accusing you. The point of reading your rights is so that you're aware of them because the the questions may or may not be incriminating. >> And you know, obviously experience from not myself, but others. Of course, >> it's like when you read the rights, you know, you kind of putting it out there like no matter what she says, you know, it could help her, it could hurt her, and you have the opportunity to arrest her at any time or myself. Or myself, >> right? It's it's indifferent. When I read your rights, it's not saying that you're going to jail. Contrary to most beliefs, it's not saying you're going to jail. It's simply saying, "Hey, I might be asking you questions that may or may not be incriminating to yourself." That is why we read the Miranda warning, so that you are aware of what that is. >> Okay. So, real quick, question for history. If I get asked that by you right here, my >> You're you're asking about your Miranda rights. >> Let's say you read them to me and not her. >> Okay. >> When I get arrested, >> why do you read them again and make me sign if this is legit? >> What do you mean? >> What do you mean? Okay. So, let's say I conduct an investigation. >> Let's say you guys arrest me, right? Or take me in for questioning. >> Okay. >> You read me my rights. You make me sign a piece of paper. Correct. That is something that the jail would do personally on the deputy level on the investig. We don't do that, sir. Then the investigators will do that. >> So you're saying that the jail has their own >> jail has their own procedures and I our investigative division has their own that's why they might make you sign is because they they weren't here at the time of Miranda being read when I was here. Does that make sense? So, even though the camera shows that you've been read your rights, what they do is they do it a second time to verify that you are fully aware of what your rights are and then you sign a paper. Does that make sense? >> I mean, it sounds like something you'd say. Yes, >> it does. It does. I mean, it sounds like >> you're seconding that, >> but for real. >> It sounds like something they would say, but if it was legit, why would you have to read it two times? Or maybe when you get to jail, you get out, you got to read it again. >> Verifying every single time that you know your rights and you're aware of them. That's just covering our basis. That was just for >> saying that you are fully aware of what your rights are at any point in time during questioning. That is why sometimes a detective might do it one or two times every single time they're investigating something or they're looking into something. It depends on who's investigating and who's doing the interview. Okay? That's the point of it. We do it once on our level. I will no longer further meandise you on any further questioning today because I have no further questions. Okay? >> Okay. Like I said, I'm not here I'm not here to accuse either one of you driving your boat saying you didn't drive the vehicle. Obviously, there's some damage. We need to do some further digging on to see who was driving the vehicle. Does that make sense? Okay. All right. Do you have any further questions? Okay. Well, you guys have a better day. >> After a while, the officer returned to continue with the investigation. >> Why does that mean she had to be driving? She was not the only person in this house. >> Who driving? Who else drive? >> She was not the only person in this house. Officer, >> answer the question. Who else was driving? >> Officer, there is other people in this house. >> I asked you a question. >> There was other people in this house right now. >> Who? Who's in the house? >> You know, if your counter is right now, who's driving your car, officer? My car's right there. >> That's a [ __ ] job car. Who's driving your car right now, officer? >> I don't have a car. That's >> You don't have a car? >> But you got to rank yourself. >> Leads to tell me that you, sir, are hiding something because you're being very hiding something? >> Absolutely. >> What am I hiding? >> All right. So, here's what's going to happen. Chargers are getting forwarded on you cuz you were driving. Okay. I may not have proof of it from the cameras across the street, but you guys lied to us. You No. No. There is no backing out of this. All right. You told us this car did not leave. >> Officer, >> you told us this car did not leave. >> Officer, >> what? >> I said I do not remember this car leaving. Now, >> who did you Okay, we were cutting grass. We We were doing our job. I to be honest, I never seen it leave. I never seen it come. I never seen it go. I never seen anything. I was with my stepson. We were out here in the grass talking about the grass cut. But you know what? I'm not trying to put myself in it. But you know what? My 16-year-old uh uh stepdaughter who has a permit drives this car. I drive this car. She drives this car. >> I both our vehicles. >> She was illegally driving. >> Who? >> You need an adult. No one got out of the passenger seat. >> I'm not saying she was driving right then, officer. I'm just saying there's other people that drive this car. That's all I'm saying. >> I understand that. Look, this can be all squashed, okay? All we need is just a little bit of C. Someone drove this car and I know it wasn't you. It's a civil matter. It's an accident. It happens. >> Okay. So, what are you trying to infer that you need? Like, you were sitting there trying to pinpoint. >> This car was involved in an accident. We have all of that. >> So, what are you trying to infer right now after everything you sitting there trying to say? that this car left >> right now. What I'm inferring someone is lying. >> Yeah, they definitely lying the moment they open their mouth and things are going to get clear when the cops finish reviewing the surveillance footage. >> Obviously, >> after conferring with the Walmart security that has the video, um they're pulling video right now to see who was inside the store. So, >> if if that video comes back [music] to show you're in the store, would you have been in the store? Or obviously you were here cuz the camera pulled it but you were in the front yard. So, >> no. >> Would it show that you're in the store? >> No. Okay. So, you got you didn't have any recollection of going to Walmart today? >> No, I did not go to Walmart. >> How long ago this uh damage supposedly happened? >> Supposed it supposedly happened. >> It was at least >> 6 months ago. >> It's been falling out cuz initially it was just this. >> Mhm. >> And over time it's >> more kept falling out like this is [snorts] on its way. >> Yeah. I mean that's already loose. >> Yeah. Which why would it? >> We've been holding stuff in. >> Well, you know, we do have a car wash membership and you know, it goes to the car wash quite frequently. >> Uhhuh. >> Definitely. >> I mean, there's tiny little pieces. If you're doing the car wash every day, these tiny little pieces wouldn't be here. >> They've been falling out this for >> It was more than just this though. So, >> these are held in. >> Wasn't in. >> Look at this. >> Those are loose. I was just blowing on it. Those flakes were just coming off, man. >> See all the little tiny things in there. >> Making it up, you know. >> I know. I know. But you're saying you you know, you putting certain words like when did this allegedly happen or when when are you saying >> that's a fair statement >> cuz I don't know >> for you it's a fair statement, but it's not fair to us. >> Well, I'm asking you. That's a fair question. >> It's not fair to us >> cuz I don't want to accuse you. I just want to, you know, >> accuse us. >> Yeah. >> Right. Like you're trying to like vehicle to vehicle, the front, the back, the side. >> The most right now like you just in there saying like certain things >> like any scratch on it is apparently from this accident. Come on. >> The only scratch from the accident is a former. >> Yeah. >> Okay. But yet he was sitting there talking about certain things like how are you going to sit there and assess >> allegedly like like the sergeant said allegedly. >> Yeah, there's no doubt it was in a car crash. And >> but how are you going to sit there and say it was recently though? Like >> because it still has debris. Nope. You don't need to be touching it. Okay. >> But no, >> or somebody already did touch it. I can see where somebody was wiping it off. >> The way you're saying like No, it's >> look see all the broken. Those are brand new pieces. >> But real quick, real quick. >> See? Look how loose that is. >> They've been >> That doesn't matter. See, this is wedged up here. >> That's a wedge. >> We specifically don't open the back. on this thing. Don't >> bash on that. >> What a bunch of liars. Yeah. Well, okay. Either way, they're going to slip up with these lies >> like every time. So, we don't open this because it keeps messing this up. And the last thing we want to do is last thing I want to do is have a drink and >> swerve like this one or two times and I can stop for a break light or a tail light being white instead of red. I' I've been worried about this. >> She's been worried about I've been worried about her driving like this too. Sir, >> are you trying to tell me this did this vehicle did not go to Walmart today? >> What I'm trying to tell you is that I did not see this vehicle leave. >> Okay. >> The other officer said I seen it pull in when I was with my stepson out here. We were working to cuz he cut the grass. >> Well, you ain't no bug. >> No, I'm getting upset. >> No, you're not. You're not sweaty enough, Mr. V. >> Well, I'm sweaty. I believe me. >> But, you know, he he said it. He seen me do, but >> we were doing the >> the grass thing like, you know, I'm making sure that he get paid for what he did or >> not paid for what he didn't do. And we was talking about that. >> I I never seen it pull in or pull out >> at that time. There was several other people in the house. There was >> neighbors. There was no point no fingers, but there was several neighbors here that have had permission to move our vehicle to take our vehicle to maybe get more drinks or maybe get >> Sure. Yeah. >> Whatever. Whatever. Yeah. >> Hot dogs. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like you know, like we just celebrating Memorial Day cuz >> it's Memorial Day. >> It's not my holiday, but it's people who I lost when I was over there. This >> this is our holiday, >> right? >> I celebrate it for them cuz they can. Mhm. >> I'm sure you understand. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Sorry. My >> fair. All right. >> We'll finish this. Well, yeah. We'll finish this in a >> with enough evidence on their hands, the cops then begin to put the woman under arrest. >> I get >> All right, sir. Do you mind stepping back here when Mr. Deputy Put yourself over there. >> All right. >> All right. Put your knees behind your back. >> You're being placed under arrest. >> You're being placed under arrest. >> I got to step over here. >> Okay. [snorts] [laughter] >> And give him my Can you give him my keys? Your vehicle keys >> or your house keys? >> So that's the vehicle key. >> I Yes. I unlocked my vehicle to get that. Here, Mr. This see >> my car key. Give it to my husband. >> Is there anything that you want to come with you? >> I have nothing. >> Okay. You don't have a bra on? >> No, ma'am. >> Well, now we got paperwork to do. >> Public road to leave. >> Okay. All right. Well, I'm on a public street, too. So what? I'm I'm on a public street, too. So, what's up? >> You told us to leave. We're simply educating you as a public. >> So, you didn't leave? I didn't leave. So, what the [ __ ] we going to do? A standoff? A draw? >> That's why it took so long. >> All right. Okay. Let's go. >> In the end, the woman is charged with hidden run and tampering with evidence. Moving on to this case now, where a mom put her child in danger for $200 worth of stolen merchandise. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Let's Let's open the trunk down. See what's in there. You got the tags right there. >> You just walked out of the store with them. We saw you. >> I didn't walk out of there with nothing. >> We saw you on the camera. >> No, sir. I did. >> SHOW ME YOUR HAND. STOP RUNNING. Y'ALL know she's stealing and got kids and carrots. >> Why the is you chasing her? >> Let her go with that petty [ __ ] >> On December 15th, 2025, officers responded to this Walmart about a customer walking out of the store with a full cart of merchandise without paying. Now guys, what happens next is not what they'd expected at all. >> They didn't give me one. They can't. They didn't have one in the >> Well, we can uh figure that out. We still can take a look. I didn't have one. You didn't ask the register I went to. >> But they didn't bag any of your items. We normally bag your items for you. >> Huh? >> We normally bag your items. >> I asked for no bags cuz I got my own. >> Well, let's go back inside then and find out. >> I asked for no bags. >> Okay, let's go find out. If you're fine, then we'll we'll >> I am fine. >> No, no, we're not fine because >> I am >> because we're going to go back in. >> Why do I have to go back in? I didn't do nothing. >> Well, you you don't want to prove it. >> What you mean I don't want to prove it? Y'all got cameras to prove it. I didn't do nothing. >> Let's go check it out. >> I'm telling you I didn't do nothing. No, I'm trying to get my kids. I just called and get them their medicine. I just got them some medicine. I just went to the pharmacy. >> So, you have no receipt on you? >> I just went to the pharmacy, sir. I didn't do nothing. >> Let's Let's open the trunk then. See what's in there. You got the tags right there. These are >> No, you just walked out of the store with them. We saw you. >> I didn't walk out of there with nothing. >> We saw you on the camera. >> No, sir. I didn't. I just wanted to go. I've been waiting 20 minutes for my for my mess at the pharmacy. You can ask the pharmacy. I just want to get my pants in the car so I can go. Can you let me get my pants in the car, please? >> 300 dispatch for uh 28. Even though the cop already gave her an opportunity to put the kid in the car, she decides to take that chance to do something really dumb. You got you got enough Guys, in her car, this woman has her one and three-year-old sons as she's trying to flee this parking lot. The cops then alert PD to assist with the pursuit. >> Put me in pursuit of that plate. Is that great? four-door car. We're going to be eastbound up around here from 640. What are we doing? 77 dispatch 75. >> In addition to that, she almost struck my squad in the parking lot. >> 331. What was the plate on that car? >> It didn't. It's got one in the back window. It's got no plates. It's a gray older gray. I think it's a Chevy Impala four-door. >> Just as the cops are trying to track down this woman. One of them will soon make an unexpected discovery that only makes this already complicated case even more complicated. >> 74. I'll check south. 331. I got a crash southbound on Titonia Dean. Show me your hand. >> Stop. Stop running. Stop running. Get on the car. Stop. Get down. >> HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'M SORRY. >> HAND BEHIND your back. >> Did you get hit? Did you get hit? >> No. >> Okay. >> Behind your back. >> STOP. [screaming] Why don't you get your hands behind your back? >> I'm poor. Please don't help me. Please tell me. Don't do this to me. I don't deserve this. Please help me. Help me. Please. >> What's your name? >> No. >> No. No. No. >> Go ahead. >> Can I call somebody, please? God [ __ ] >> please call someone. >> Please can I call somebody? >> Roll up on your butt. >> Please >> roll up on your butt. >> Can I call somebody? >> No. >> Well, that stupid action of hers definitely need a DCFS intervention. Sure, fleeing like that is dumb, but it's a whole different story if you're already endangering your own children here. And the nerve of her trying to beg after all this. >> Please hold up. >> Please stop begging and I please just go. What's your name? >> Can I see my teeth? >> No. Maybe you shouldn't drag him across the street next time. >> Can y'all please help me? I'm just a young mom and I'm by myself. Please. >> So, dragging a kid across the street is a good idea. >> No, sir. I'm sorry. Please. >> That's what I thought. >> Can y'all please let me just go? Please. >> No. You're going to jail? >> PLEASE. NO. NO. NO. PLEASE. NO. [screaming] I can't go to jail. >> I can't go to jail. Please. >> We'll probably put him in a squad. Keep them warm. Stand right here. Please no. I can't go to jail. Yeah. Please no. >> Anderson. >> Please no. >> No. >> You got to stay here with your dad. >> NO. [screaming] >> WHAT? >> Please go. Let me go. Please. >> No. Please let me go. >> Stop. >> I'm sorry. Please. >> I don't care what you are. >> Please. Can I go? >> I need to go. >> I need to go home. >> Search her. >> Can I call somebody to get my kids? Spread your feet. >> Can I call someone to get my kids? >> If you shut up, >> please >> be quiet. >> Please. >> How many kids are there? >> I wasn't asking YOU A QUESTION. >> QUIET. >> I NEEDED the stuff. I'm sorry. It was just food. >> Please. It's just food. >> It's toys for Christmas. Please. Can you understand? >> Putting your kid at harm is a good idea, huh? Lean forward. >> Any other way, please. I don't have any other way. Please. Please, >> my kids need to go to my mom. Can't she do that? >> If you shut up, I told you that. >> Oh my goodness. Please. I'm sorry. >> What's your name? >> My name is >> What's your first name? >> I haven't never been in trouble here. Please. >> Can I talk or you going to keep talking? >> I will let you call someone, but you have to stop. >> Okay, >> enough. I don't hear anything out of your mouth right now. the top over there. >> Last we're doing. >> After searching her, the cop then put her into the squad car. >> Play with us, the longer it's going to take to figure out where your kid is going. >> Let's go. Let's go. >> I don't have my shoes. >> I Well, you lost it. >> Right there. >> Please. No. >> Say to you, >> I don't want to stand back here. Please don't let me sit back. >> Don't get a choice. >> Please don't make me sit back here. >> Please, no. >> I will sp your kids if you do not shut up. I'm not. >> Last time I'm talking to you, I was calling CPS and that's like >> they're going to go to somewhere, >> right? So, shut up, please. >> With that being done, the officers now have to figure out what to do with the kids and search the car. >> Here, buddy. >> Hi. >> I just >> You're cute. Ready? >> Where's your What's your squad? Oh, I think he moved it. >> Let's do your squad. >> We're going to take a seat and hang on officer Winkler. Okay. >> Cuz that's not fun. >> That was not fun when you're hanging out with him. >> Yeah. >> Did this car come back? >> Expired. I don't know if it comes back. I don't know what her name is, but it's expired like from 2 months ago. >> Let her know I keep calling her from a restricted number. >> Call her on Messenger. >> Well, she's under arrest right now. I'm not sure what all her charges are. After a while, the cop was able to contact her mother and she had her own opinion to say about the matter. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hi. >> Hi, I'm Officer Anderson from the Brown Police Department. Uh, your daughter is here. We have her under arrest. She's trying to see if you could come pick her kids up. >> Lincoln's going home. Why is she even being arrested? So, so here we we're we'll be right now we're on 43rd and D. >> So, what's going on, baby? Why is my baby being arrested? >> So, your baby was stealing out of Walmart and took the police on a high school chase when it tried to pull her over with her two kids in the back seat and crashed her vehicle. >> Get the [ __ ] up. >> Yeah. So, the kids are out here now in the back of a police car. >> Baby, she just was scared and she just don't even know they been raised down south. So all she was going to get for stealing out of Walmart in Milwaukee is a goddamn citation. She does not have to run. >> Yep. >> She wasn't under arrest. This is Wisconsin. But see, they raised in the south. If you get caught stealing that south, you going to jail. You understand what I'm saying, baby? >> She was swearing of it. That's all. I'mma tell you what it is now. That's exactly what it is, baby. Here I come. I was just dead sleep. Okay. >> I'm throwing on clothes as I'm talking to you. I'm coming to get my >> Are you okay? Yep. We have the kids here. Okay. >> But the whole thing is now I know y'all know. Look, I'm from here. They from here, too. But they've been raised down south. >> Why did they chase her for retail death? That don't happen. >> So, I can't answer that question. Okay. >> You understand what I'm saying, though? >> I I hear where you're coming from. >> That's where the problem at. She low down for stealing with them kids. That's some up. You understand what I'm saying? But y'all know it's ice out here.
