Lady, you are doing everything to make a simple traffic stop more complicated. If she cooperates, the worst she gets is her car getting towed. But with the way she's acting, it will be only a matter of time before she gets herself into jail. How is that a crime? We're going to stand by until my partner gets here. And you're going to step out of the vehicle and we're going to go from there, okay? No. Cuz I did not commit a crime, nor are you suspecting me of a crime. Ma'am. And what you're doing is unlawful and illegal. >> ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. What is going to be more of an issue for you? Receiving Stop. Stop. Stop. You're not even telling me what I'm under arrest for. I already told you. No, I did not commit a crime, nor did I do anything. Uh she ran a red light, she refused to give me her driver's license and registration. I did not stop at a red light. I told you. You can either give me your ID or you go to jail, all right? And then you wanted to fight with me cuz I took your phone out of your hands. >> Exactly, and that's illegal. I have the right You have the right to Not when you're under arrest. The officer then inventoried her car before putting her inside the squad car. I don't need it. Oh, thank you. Uh do you still need a supervisor out here? I thought you said you were the supervisor. Okay, thank you. Just wanted to get that on camera. Cuz you said you know the supervisor what personally, right? You know him personally? You know the supervisor personally? Oh, I do. Oh, who is it? >> not your supervisor. It would be your boss. It would be my boss. What do you want me to do, search the car? Yeah, I just want to make sure there's nothing in here that Thank you. I I told her like seven times. What's going on? Hey, what's your girlfriend's name? Chelsea. Hey, Chelsea. Hey, unfortunately, Chelsea's going to be going to jail today. Her car, she wants you to come pick up her car so we don't have to tow it. I don't want to do that to her, okay? Okay. Where y'all at? We are at We'll hand you off the keys. That's what she wants to do and we'll we'll do that for you, okay? Okay, what's she going to jail for? I haven't spoken with the other officer yet. I'm just simply transporting right now. But you'll know that very soon, okay? All right. Now, from hyperventilating, she went into sobbing as the officer was transporting her to the station. Ma'am, stop hyperventilating, please. Hey, stop. I need you to catch your breath, please, so I can talk to you about your bond, okay? Can I talk to you about your bond? Ma'am, do you need the AC on? Would you like the window down? Ma'am, I need I'm in a cage window. Like I can't breathe. Well, here here, ma'am. I'm asking you >> sickle cell anemia. I have a blood disease. Okay, well, talk to me, ma'am. You can't breathe right now because you're making yourself so upset. You're hyperventilating. Listen to me. So, what you're going to do is you're going to breathe in with your nose. Do it with me. I'll do it with you, okay? Breathe in through your nose right now, okay? >> [snorts] >> Long breath in and then breathe out through your mouth. Do you understand, Chelsea? Hey. Like doing it. You're doing it? Everything's going to be okay, ma'am. I know I know you're upset. I know. I know. I'm going to let you I'm going to answer it in just a second. He's calling. I'm going to answer in just a second. I can't answer it. I can't answer it right now. I'm driving. He needs to give my money cuz I've been to jail. They take my money if you get booked into jail. Like I'm not paying $20 to go to jail. We already cut you a break. We could have towed your car, but we didn't. Technically, you're the only person on your car, but we gave you that opportunity have your boyfriend come get it and that's what we did for you, okay? Like they walked up to my car, knocked on my back window, acted like I had people in there and I was like, I'm not going to roll down my back window. Well, ma'am, how are we supposed to know that? Can you tell me how I'm supposed to know that? I would have done the same thing if I was on a traffic stop. Ma'am, this is how we're taught. Do you not know that? >> fine. Chelsea, if you're not Chelsea, I'm listening to you. I'm listening to you, but you're not listening to me. What's my bond? It's 500, so it'll be $50. >> Yeah, so I'll be out tomorrow. >> And that's fine. Ma'am, that's fine. >> Like I swear to god, when I see his What's his name? Landers? Oh, that's your name. That's my name. Yeah, what's his name? It'll be on the arrest affidavit. You'll see it. You'll see it. Matthews. I I've been nasty to you? Okay. This Chelsea, oh, please calm down. You need to hyperventilate. In the end, she was charged with resisting without violence. Moving on to the next case where a drunk woman think TikTok is her law. Sheriff's office. Hey. Watch videos of people walking in in TikTok. >> She seems to be under the impression that these videos online you don't have to identify your Nope. Okay, you're going to You're not. You're a grown ass woman. You have to make your own decisions. You can't let mommy and daddy do that. >> Sheriff's office. Hey. Sheriff's office. Hey, ma'am. Sheriff's office. Hey. What's going on? Do you need medical attention? Do you do any kind of drugs or anything? No. You under the influence? No. Okay. You've been drinking? No. I see a bottle under the seat, yeah. I see two bottles, actually. You just pointed that one out. We came to check on you cuz you were passed out pretty hard. I had to grab you for you to wake up. Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. Um where do you live? Um I'm house searching right now, but I'm all right. Okay, so you live in your car? Yeah. Okay. It's very apparent to me you are under the influence, whether it's of this alcohol or what, but I can smell it on you. Really? Yeah. I'm not any under any influence. What's your name? Your first name? Shay. Shay, okay. Okay, talk to me. So, what's what's going on today? Um nothing else. House searching and uh the guy I'm with is working right now. So, I did park here and I did fall asleep. I don't know how to make this easy. I just want to make it easy. I don't want to be in legal trouble. I believe you're under the influence, but you we're not caught behind the wheel of this car and the ignition's not in like the keys aren't in the ignition, but I need to see your ID cuz this is technically illegal camping. I'm just trying to identify you. I want to make sure you're not wanted or anything like that. Are you wanted? No. Okay, so let me just get your license and we'll see what's going She's super wasted, that's for sure. I can smell the alcohol in that car coming from the screen. But hey, at least she kind of cooperates until she said she wanted to drive away. Shay, right now I have no intention to take you to jail. As far as me and my partner are concerned, we're just trying to like make sure you're good. No, I I believe you're under the influence, so you definitely can't get behind the wheel of this car unless you're going to do some exercises. I watch videos of people walking in in TikTok, all right? Mhm. I think when people get their name and everything like I think it's it seems like there's there's something wrong. I just want to know who I'm talking to. We're making sure you're okay. We know you've been drinking. We're not going to let you drive away, but in the same instance, have respect for us. Give the nice lady that's standing next to you that you wanted to talk to your full name. If you come back valid and clear, your license. But if you want to take a continue to take your nap here, I don't really have an issue with it. I don't want you to get behind the wheel and turn the ignition on, okay? Cuz I believe you are under the influence. So, I would not, but my my judgment right now, the way you're talking, the bottles on the ground that are open. I mean, these are open containers. Like kind of all that stuff are technically like these are infractions. How do you spell your first name? Um I'm my dad. Shay. Yeah. This I feel like we were under a such a good understanding. Like I'm really not trying to I know. And that's good. We have good rapport, but like your understanding Shay, there's no need to be nervous, okay? I feel nervous and I serve her and that door is clearly open. We were both concerned so we each came from this side but I was about to give you a sternum rub to make sure you were alive. It's where you rub inside the chest to make someone wake up cuz it's painful. Cuz I didn't think you were breathing at first. That's why I asked you if you'd done drugs. Listen, I'm going to keep it 100% honest with you and I'm going to hope that this time it resonates, okay? You having open containers in your car is a crime. So let's make this easy, give me your ID. Shay, let me tell you something. I'm really not trying to If you don't give me your ID, I'm going to have to detain you. Yes. So can you please just make it easier for everybody? Okay. >> Okay. You can call your dad but also work on your ID. The officers then called her dad and let me tell you one thing. You will find out the reason why she's such a mess. I'm really not trying to If you don't give me your ID, I'm going to have to detain you. Yes. So can you please just make it easier for everybody? Okay. Okay. You can call your dad but also work on your ID. All right. Dad, I think I'm being detained. I am simply trying to identify your daughter Shay. We've talked for a little bit now. We've been out here for about 14 minutes just trying to get her ID. Yes. She's She was passed out asleep in the passenger seat. This is considered illegal camping. She has multiple open containers inside of the vehicle. I am simply trying to identify her. But that's She's trying to find a problem. But so you're saying she's being detained? She is about to go into handcuffs until I can figure out who she is. She's being detained for the crime of sleeping in her car? This is illegal camping and she has open containers in the vehicle. She's under the influence She seems to be under the impression that these videos online you don't have to identify yourself and you don't until you're under suspicion and so Correct. But she's currently illegally camping which she can be cited for and taken to the station. Okay, I need her identification to do it. So if she's not going to provide me her ID, she's going to get detained. Okay. Let me What's the statute so I can verify it? I just have for illegal camping being sleeping in the car cuz I don't think sleeping in your car is illegal. >> sir. It's prohibited in Monroe County [laughter] unless it's a marked campground. So you can Google the Monroe County ordinances and violations and you will find the illegal camping statute. This is what they see. Right. Um bottle. The bottle over there in the key ignition the keys are not in the ignition. No. So we I just have to get I'm going to look up the definition of camping. I think we need to talk to the supervisor to find out No problem. I'll get those I'll get the sergeant in touch with you, sir. 7115. 7115. Okay. Let's get the supervisor. Do you have a pen and piece of paper? I I call him directly. Yeah, hold on one second. It's good and all to verify the violation but the least he can do is tell his daughter to ID herself to avoid going to jail. But nope. So she's about to go to jail. Immediately, right? >> Sergeant Alvarez said he'd be more happy to talk to the father after we're done with our investigation but if she refuses to keep on complying with us our lawful order, we can take her to jail. Okay. Yeah? Step out. We're going to step out. We're going to make it easy, okay? No, okay. You're going to You're not. Yeah, I am. Shay, we're going to get out of the car. Stop. Stop. You're refusing to identify yourself. And that's a law? Yes. In the state of Florida it is. multiple times. I'm sure if I go back on my body camera that inevitably your dad will look for, I asked you to identify yourself at least 20 times. Why? I'm so aggressive. You couldn't give us your simple name. 20 minutes ago you have actually added additional stress onto our life cuz we don't know what you have in that car. How do we know you don't have a weapon? So the same respect you've given us you have not given us. You're a grown-ass woman. You have to make your own decisions. You can't let mommy and daddy do that for you. Just some deep breaths, okay? I'm nervous. I'll be nervous. I'll open this up so we can talk, okay? She was charged with DUI and resisting arrest. Let's move on to the next case where a woman convinced herself that the laws don't apply to her. What law have I broken? >> Cuz you're not listening to me. That's not a law. I I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU. I NEED a lawyer. I'm not talking to you. I need a lawyer. Where's the warrants? You are under arrest. You are under What is your name? I am not under that law, whatever it is that What code is that law? On May 2nd, 2024, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that crossed the center boundary line. Here's what happened next. Get back in your car. I'm pulling you over. Get back in your car. Get back in your car right now. Get back in your car. Get in your car. What are you doing? Hey. Hey. >> know what your problem is. Send me your badge. Excuse me. >> Hey. Hey. Hey. Stop walking away from the stop. Get back in the car. >> I feel threatened. >> Get back in the car. No. Get back in the car or you're going to be under arrest. >> Do you have a police camera on? Yes, I do. I feel very threatened you touching your Get back. Cuz you're getting out of the car. Call the police. Call the police. Call the police. He's not Get back in your car. I don't know who this man is and I just came to my car. I'm stopping you because you crossed over the lane improperly lane usage. I turned around and pulled you over. You got out of your car. Please get back in your car. I know. Call your supervisor. I haven't broken any laws. >> Yes, you have. No, I haven't. Do you work here? I don't answer questions especially from people who are attacking me. Okay. Okay. The improper lane usage. Yes, you crossed over the middle of the line. I pulled you over. Okay, so you have one other option. If you do not provide me with your license right now, I'm going to take you to jail, okay? That is incorrect. >> Okay, turn around and put your hands behind your back, please. What is What is the reason for my detainment? Because you're not giving your driver's license. That is not against the law. It is not against my law. You got pulled over for a traffic stop. Whatever the probable cause is, it is what it is. You were driving a car. You're operating a motor vehicle on an Illinois roadway and you have provided your driver's license. If you fail to do that, you're going to be under arrest so we can go go through your things and find out who you are the hard You have no reason for search. Where's your warrants? Can you please tell me what is your name? This went on for another 10 minutes as the officers tried to explain the real law to her and convince her to step out on her own. Of course, that's not going to work. So, they have to pull her out using force. You can say that you gained your cooperation No, ma'am. And why is that? Because I do not understand and I do not comply. At this point, I'm going to remain silent. I remain silent. I plead the fifth. Okay, we're going to take you out of the car, okay? It's got to be affixed to the back of the vehicle. Well, yeah, you can read it once you're up on it, but the state of Ohio's law requires that it's affixed to the back of the vehicle where the plate's supposed to go. No, you're under arrest. >> Okay, that doesn't make no difference. I'm allowed to make a phone call. Like what? But I am. You are not. But I am. Like what is it my right that I'm at least allowed to make one phone call. Like what the heck? I'm not watching YouTube. I know my rights. I read law. They're going to they're going to loosen up right now. They're here. They're right behind you. All right. Now calm down. Calm down. Calm down and listen to me. Calm down. The woman was charged with resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license. Moving on to the next case where a drama queen turned a simple traffic stop into pure chaos. Okay, I am serving the judicial notice in global constitution to the world and this is not I repeat a living woman a living woman and THIS IS TREASON. ON APRIL 14TH, 2024 officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle. However, the driver ignored his lights for eight blocks after finally pulling over. What happened next was anything but routine. Hey there. My name's officer Hayek. Just let you know the traffic stop's being recorded. Reason why I'm stopping you is for speed 48 in a 35. Not only that I really strongly believe you're just not paying attention because Well, we went about eight blocks with my lights on and you never even pulled over. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm listening to this. I'm so sorry. Why didn't you make a sound? I'm not sure. Because you weren't stopping. That's the reason why. >> Oh well, I didn't hear. >> We went eight blocks. I didn't see any lights. I I I didn't It just means you're not paying attention. Do you have your license, registration, and proof of insurance for me, please? I'm getting my lawyer one second. I don't need to speak with your lawyer. Can I see your license, registration, and proof of insurance, please? Speeding. Can I get your license, registration, and proof of insurance, please? >> It didn't take long for this woman to put on her little drama show for the officer. And just wait, she's about to pull even more excuses coming straight from the Karen/sovereign citizen playbook. Can speeding actually become a crime? It's an infraction. It becomes a crime when you don't provide your license, registration, and proof of insurance, ma'am. How many more times am I going to have to ask for this? May I see your license, registration, and proof of insurance, please? Ma'am, are you going to provide your license, registration, and proof of insurance, please? Or does this have to escalate to an arrest? Um if that's what you would choose me and my No, I'm asking you to provide by law Stop Stop interrupting, ma'am. I'm trying to explain it to you. By law on a traffic stop, you are required to provide your license, your registration, and your proof of insurance. I've explained the reason for the stop. I've requested the required documentation and you're refusing to provide that, ma'am. Is there a reason? Um I don't contract with the You don't contract with the state of Washington? Do you have a driver's license? I'm I I'm a planetary uh federal postal judge. I am a service processor and a You're a what? >> Service processor and Service processor? What's that got to do with providing your license, registration, and proof of insurance, ma'am? I'm speaking and judicial notice sir and um I'm I'm I'm sure your your sergeant can then come in and Oh, he's already in route, ma'am. >> Thank you. It seemed the woman was pretty new to this sovereign citizen stuff. She kept stumbling over her words and nothing she said made any sense. Then again, it's not like the whole sovereign citizen thing makes any sense anyway. Next, instead of giving the officer her documents, she insisted on calling her so-called lawyer who later ended up giving her some truly terrible advice leading to her being arrested. Is there a reason you're not providing your license, registration, and proof of insurance? Just because I'm trying to get my lawyer on Okay, I I don't have to wait for your lawyer. Okay, I'm not even going to speak with your lawyer. I'm not required to. However, you are required to provide your license, registration, and proof of insurance and I've requested it multiple times. Um can you give me a minute sir? For what? Um so I can get my It's got nothing to do with this traffic stop, ma'am. Grab your sticks. I'm I'm being stopped right now Put them on the front. I'm being stopped right now with an officer. I'm on I'm I have >> Ma'am, are you providing me with your license, registration, and proof of insurance? Ma'am, are you going to provide me with your license, registration, and proof of insurance? Can you guys get an interview Janine on? One second, sir. No, ma'am. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. >> No, I'm not. Step on out of the car. Step on out of the car. Do it now. Do it now or I'll break this window. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Ma'am, I've provided you multiple requests for your license, registration, and insurance. Okay, step on out of the car. Do it now. I will break this window. Step on out of the car. Step on out of the car. This is this is so illegal. I would not do that. >> You can contest that in court, ma'am. You're under arrest for obstruction at this point. Yes, it is. Okay, I am serving the judicial notice in global constitution to the world and this is not correct. This is not what You're being recorded, ma'am. Everything's being recorded. All your statements are being recorded. Okay, you have an option to step on out of the car. I will break this window. That's treason. That's treason. Step on out of the car. Are you going to step out of the car? Ma'am, are you stepping out of the car? Are you going to step out of the car? Okay, then we'll wait for the supervisor. Do not you don't want to break my window, sir. I will here in a second if you don't get out of the car. If your supervisor gets here, he will let you know you cannot break my window. Well, I doubt that. Yes, you are being recorded. Everything's being recorded. Yes, we we know. Yeah. >> We know. We know. We highly know this. 6-David-1 ETA. >> Greetings. Well, you are going to jail. You're under arrest at this point, ma'am. Okay, I'm not disputing that, but you are under arrest. Even after playing every card she could think of, hoping to talk her way out, nothing could change one simple fact. She was already under arrest. And once the sergeant arrived, things started moving fast. All right, she's refusing she's under arrest for obstruction at this point. She refused to provide identification, registration, proof of insurance. Okay. Okay. Okay, so I'm going to tell you this right now, you're going to get out of the car or we're going to pull you out of the car by force. Nope. It's a traffic stop under revised code of Washington title 46. Are you going to step out of the vehicle or are you going to be taken out by force? You are under arrest for failure to provide ID. Are you going to step out? Are you going to step out? Step out of the car, do it now. Step out of the car, DO IT NOW. >> [screaming] >> I'M DAVID 8 1 IN CUSTODY. And we'll take 8. With swift, controlled movements, the officers pulled her out of the car and placed her in handcuffs, but it didn't end there. As they tried to rinse the pepper spray from her face, she began rolling around on the sidewalk in an over-the-top display. Yeah, I'm good. Okay. I see your cut, though. She hasn't provided nothing, she refused. You have a knife, too, took a hole. Perfect, I was looking for it. Look up. Look up. Open your eyes. Open your eyes so that we can get in there and rinse out your eyes, okay? YEAH, I KNOW. STOP. STOP MOVING so we can rinse out your eyes. Sit down. Sit down. Then stay still. Stop moving so we can get your rinsing tools. Okay. Moving. Yes, you can. This could have all been avoided if you provided your license, registration, and insurance. Well, that's what it's designed After finishing checking on her, she was then placed in the squad car to be transported to the station. So we're going to impound the vehicle and give you a non-compliance with it. Very standard traffic So no. No, we're not we're not going to do any of that. The reason I said is because you turned what was a very simple traffic stop into this entire thing it didn't need to do when you literally just needed to hand ID. Do you have insurance on the car? It's a very simple like speeding ticket, no valid ID, okay? And you turn it into an arrest for resisting, obstructing. Obstructing an officer is also going to be added on. So we're not we're not going to do you any favors calling somebody else in your car. Telling us that it's treason is not asking questions. Okay? Are we done with the search incident to arrest? Do you fine gentlemen of the fire department have anything else for her medically or He said the final word. Just so you know, everything in the car is audio and video recorded, just like you're being recorded right now. Can we try to get your seatbelt on? All righty, there you go. The woman was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing justice on top of her traffic offenses. Moving on to the next case, where a woman decided to fight after getting busted for drugs. You were called in as a possible drunk driver. On June 23rd, 2022, officers received a call about a possibly impaired driver. The driver was reportedly swerving into oncoming lanes of traffic and had struck multiple objects. Here's what happened next. You know, what's How's it going today? What kind of errands you running? You know, grocery shopping, paying bills, just adult adult things. Yeah. So where were you coming from? If we're being honest, I am um on the way to pick up one of my friend and cuz like I don't like doing things by myself because I have anxiety, so I like people coming on rides with me. So I was going to go pick her up so I can go to the dispensary, get what I need, and then bring it back home. If you want to, I could show you my medical card. Okay, I have a question. Do you have a prescription for Xanax bars? No. Have you taken any? All right. Hang tight. I'm going to get some gloves because I believe there's getting She didn't even try to hide the controlled substance. It was just sitting there on her seat. And to make matters worse, her attitude only kept getting worse by the minute. We pretty much stay simple to Ma'am, is your ID in your purse? All right, I'll get it. Give me I'll get it. Hey, I said I'll get it. Stand over there at the end of your car. Do you hear me? Okay, but if you were more respectful about it, if I'm just saying I'm just saying. All right, I'm If we're all humans here, if you were more respectful about it, I'm just saying. Where's your ID at? Is it in here? Oh, I got it. No, the thing is that's my property, you have no choice. Actually, I do because I found freaking Xanax bars on your driver seat. If you want to explain something, explain those. Girl, the fact that you keep looking through my stuff They were in plain view. Yep. Oh, were they in plain Yeah, your butt was covered. Hey, would you do me a favor and go sit on the bumper of that car over there? Um why? Okay, I just want to know what I was doing in particular. Okay, the reason you were pulled over, um you were called in as a possible drunk driver and from the people that were calling in said that you hit multiple things. I haven't been to the other side of your car or really inspected your car yet to verify that. But um you were found you're you were found here. She's getting out with you. We you were called in as a drunk driver, okay? Upon contact, she's finding things that are illegal in your car. So this is kind of the development that we're going, okay? So for right now, while she's doing her job, we're going to give her some space and we're going to go sit at the front of that car, okay? Okay. As the officer continued searching her car, she showed signs of unease when she tried to walk away. Ma'am, over here, please. I've asked you. You're right, it is your car. Did she say yes or no before she started talking? Hey, I've asked you nicely. You asked me to be respectful, didn't you? Have I not been respectful with you? And you're not doing what I asked you. Okay, would you like to sit down on the grass over there? No, you cannot. No, you're >> not getting back in your car. You can sit on the grass over there or we can sit in the back of this car here, whichever one you prefer. Okay? Even so, the officers remained as patient and respectful as possible. But still thinking she was in control, she kept making demands, insisting they give her phone back. No, you're not. You're staying right here. You're not getting back in that car until they're done. Everything's being recorded right here. You're not going back in that car. You can request this recording. My phone is right on that seat. One of y'all can come with me to that seat to get my car to let me video tape cuz that is my human right. That is the bare minimum y'all can do so I can go to my My phone is right there. Look behind you. After checking on her vehicle, the officers now proceed to question her. So, >> [clears throat] >> do you have any idea why we're here? Apparently, what man saying was I was drunk driving. Okay, I'll take you wasn't drunk driving. No, I'm not drunk driving. Out of curiosity, has your car always been like that in the front? Yeah, um so yeah, do I need to kiss that food? No, I'm just curious. Suspecting she was under the influence, the officer asked her to perform sobriety tests which she failed. I'm talking to you briefly here. When I got here, I saw your demeanor and your actions and all that stuff, okay? Now, when I talked to you even more and I'm looking at some indicators right now, okay? I'm looking at your pupils, I'm looking at your eyes and I think that you might be under the influence of some type of narcotic, not alcohol but I believe a narcotic. Okay, so based off what I'm seeing so far, would you be willing to do a field sobriety test to dispel my suspicions that you're under the influence of any type of narcotic? You willing to do that? Do you have any injuries I need to know about? Head injuries? Have you had any previous concussions? Not that I medically seek attention for. Yes. I mean, medical wise Monday I had a concussion. Never once Have you ever had a concussion within the past I'd say 10 24 hours? 10 24 hours? Uh no. Okay. Yeah, and they don't say anything about it? These people are in their late 70s. [music] You know, they're afraid of repercussions. Okay. That couple is horrible. They turned their music so loud in the middle of the night next to their neighbors, who are elderly by the way. Now, it's up to the officers to deal with them. Did you get a statement from them? >> Yep, I got a statement. All right. Did you get their ID? No, I didn't even freaking tell me leave the property. All right. Let's go. WALK. ARE YOU SERIOUS right now? Walk. You got her, Multi? YEAH, GOT HER. IT TAKES THREATS OF PEPPER SPRAY TO MAKE THEM LISTEN, but it won't keep them from showering the officers with their attitude. You're in violation of 21's noise ordinance. Excuse me. Okay, relax. No, I'm not relaxing. You weren't relaxing when I came here. Are you serious right now? Oh. Come with me, you're going to my car. You want to give me your information, name and date of birth, or you going to keep doing this? Get in here. What are you doing? Get the hell out of here before I pepper spray you. Get in here. For what reason? Why am I in the cop car? Get in here. For what reason? Ma'am, do you WANT TO GET SPRAYED? DO YOU WANT to get pepper sprayed? Could you put your feet in? Are you willing to provide me with your name and date of birth so that we can do this civilly, or do you want to go to jail? I didn't do anything wrong, man. Violating the noise ordinance, you're not willing to give me any kind of identification. And now you're resisting. I didn't resist. You did. You were pulling away from me, and she was also resisting. Do you want to give me your information like name and date of birth or not? FROM MY OWN HOUSE. NO. ARE YOU ABOUT TO TAKE THE RIDE, MAN? Do you want Well, do me a favor then. Take my [ __ ] off and make Do you want to go to jail or not? Cuz are you allowed >> Are you going to give me your personal information? Do you have your ID on you? Do you want to No. This is [ __ ] man. Seriously, nothing screams I'm the main character more than getting arrested over a Bluetooth speaker. Truly fascinating behavior. Bluetooth speaker. When I came over here, me and him to try to talk to you guys, you guys refused to let us talk to you guys, okay? >> We're on my property. All right. IT DOES NOT MATTER. I'M there for reason. >> [music and singing] >> You guys took this further than it should have went. We're in our own house. All right. At the end of the day, these people have asked you guys several times to turn your music down, okay? As I tried to come to you, me and him, to try to reason with you guys, you guys sat there and tried to fight with us about it. Are you willing to provide me your personal information at all, your name and date of birth? Absolutely. I live here and I I'm playing music at 8:00 It doesn't matter. Section 17-130 county ordinance, you're in violation of it. So, I have a question. Yep. Can I get No. You're resisting us. I'm not playing these games. We're not doing this. We tried to reason with you and you guys you and him tried to fight with us, okay? We're in our backyard. All right. It doesn't matter. I tried to come and reason with you guys and show you guys a paper that says otherwise. I can't. I'm there for legal reason. How can we resolve this? No, there's We're past that point. You literally resisted and you were grabbing my arm as my partner was trying to grab your boyfriend. We're past that point. We are past that point. When I first came to you guys and tried to reason with you guys, you guys absolutely ignored me and continued to turn your music up again. All right, sir. So, I got bad news for you. I just talked to my supervisor and chances are both you and your girlfriend are both going to jail tonight for your poor decisions. It doesn't matter to me. It's fine. All right. Do you have any questions? >> What was the poor decisions? Uh playing the music too loudly, not turning it down per the county ordinance. >> Now I'm getting arrested on my own property. Well, now you're getting arrested because you're refusing to ID and then you started resisting. You can take me to jail. I was a plumber in jail. Let's go ahead. I don't give a [ __ ] what you wear in jail. Now you're going to be an arrestee in jail. In the end, the couple was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting or obstructing without violence. Battery on a law enforcement officer is generally a third-degree felony, often resulting in up to 5 years in prison, 5 years of probation, and a $5,000 fine. If they were found guilty on both charges, they could be sentenced up to 6 years in prison, 6 years of probation, and a $6,000 fine. Let's move on to the next case where a couple got busted for their scam. On November 12th, 2025, officers responded to a complaint regarding a suspected trailer scam conducted through Facebook Marketplace. Here's what happened next. Facebook Marketplace. You want to start at the beginning for Officer Cooper. Oh, yeah. Oh god. So, he sold me this trailer Mhm. yesterday. I bought it. Uh he told me I could wait until the end of the month to switch lot rent over so that way I didn't have to pay a lot of rent. Figured he was just being nice because I'm a single mom with two kids just trying for none of us to be homeless at this point cuz I I've been evicted. Um so, I ended up calling the leasing company for the Oak Woods just to like clarify cuz he says he's moving out of state. So, I'm like, I need to clarify and make sure he doesn't need to say anything. Like I would I just want to get this out of the way. Right. She decides to tell me, "Oh, he's been trying to scam people. He cannot sell this. He cannot have anybody else live here because he owes them over $5,000." Mhm. So, I'm like, "Okay, great. That's cool." So, we came here. We didn't tell him we were coming here cuz I was going to show up without him knowing because based on how quick he's moving, he knows what he did and he's getting the [ __ ] out of this state. Mhm. I was calling him left and right on things. This is the title that I watched his girlfriend sign. It is not in his name or in his girlfriend's name. This was yesterday? Yes. Yes, yesterday. And you said she signed it? She signed it. The girlfriend signed it. Yes. Yes. And so, I was like, "Well, for my legal obligations, like I need contact with her to make sure this is okay." He provides me one number. I called the number. This guy has no clue what he's talking about. I ask him what the address is. He says, "Oh, I don't know. It's in Warren." I say, "Okay, what's your first What's your middle name and last name?" He goes dead silent. I said, "Hello." He said, "Oh, hang on." and then says nothing. He doesn't know his own middle name or last name. I know it's not him. Yeah. >> So, then I call him and I'm like, "Okay, well, maybe he sent me the wrong number. Like, maybe he typed out the wrong number. I don't know." I don't I don't know. I wouldn't assume people would be this shitty of people. So, I'm just trying to find the good in people, unfortunately. So, then he provides me with another number. The number texts me saying that she's arrived and I should get up to the dollar sale and all that. It's okay and everything. The number that he provided me is his girlfriend's phone number. She's not All right. They have I don't know who it is. I don't know. He illegally signed it. Yes, that is his girlfriend, Katie. Yeah, uh do you have that phone number on you by any chance? Yeah, I have both of them. I have all of our text conversations, Facebook Marketplace conversations, all of it. So, this is all of our conversations. I have them all. This is the first number he originally gave me. And you paid him already? >> Yeah, I gave him $2,000. Okay. And I told him at this point, like, if he just wants to give me the $2,000 back and take the title, I just want to be done with this [ __ ] The lease I mean, the lease office is trying to help out as much as they can. They offered me to pay off some of his balance, but I'm like, "Dad, I'm not doing that. That's not my responsibility." Like, this man's a piece of [ __ ] This is nothing This has been nothing but an absolute massive scam. There's no way this is legal. There's not a slice bit in any of this that's legal. First off, he illegally signed this. That right there. >> Yeah. >> Highly illegal. Well, she signed it, correct? >> signed it. Is she here? Yeah, she's inside. I will give you a heads-up right now because my stepdad was here before I got here. He got out to try and talk to him and immediately it was an altercation. I don't know 100% what happened because I was not here, but I know a table was flipped. Mhm. And then he pulled a knife out on my stepdad. So, then my stepdad pulled out a knife as well and was like, "I have one, too. Like, what are you going to do about it?" And that's all I know about that situation, but I I will say that that altercation did happen. Yeah, I myself have been over here probably 100 times. So, I'm well aware No, no, no, here. I'm well aware. So, he doesn't own this? This It's a fur Supposedly, unless that's a fake title. Do you think the office would have that info on who actually owns it? What I'm thinking is this female have essentially forged a document. Yep. So, potentially have forgery on her and then theft by deception on him. Cuz it was paid to him. I'm guessing that paid the center. We have to clarify who it was paid to. Right. >> But he was facilitating it, essentially. Yeah, but I guess I would need to find out who this is to prove the forgery, you know, cuz maybe Well, she's saying she watched physically watched But what >> the female sign it. >> That's name. It's not her name. That's >> She She can't sign this. You know what I mean? >> Even if he gives her permission? After speaking with the victim, the officers then confronted the suspect about the scam. Yep. So, Brian, what's going on with this? >> her this trailer. We never put the title in our name. We're like, "Hey, we know the guy. We gave him the number." She's in like he's drunk. So, my wife starts relaying everything they're saying to her phone. Mhm. To them. And she's like, "Oh, well, you guys don't own the trailer." I didn't own the trailer, I wouldn't have title, wouldn't be signed. The title's signed, we own the trailer. We never put it in our name. You don't have to put it in our name. By law, they the trailer court said we didn't have to put it in our name. So, we never put title in our name. I have the message where I borrowed the money from the other dude talking about I sold the trailer, I'm going to have to get some money in writing from you so so I can pay you back the money I owe you. There's She's starting to say there's $5,000 owed on this trailer. No, there's not. There ain't no $5,000 owed on this trailer. Lot rent $631 a month. Been paid since I got here. So, $5,000 owed, there's no [ __ ] way. Well, that's according to the office. >> Yeah, and I tried I know what he's saying. She said, "I just talked to him." So, I called up there. Mhm. They close at 3:30. But you talked to them 10 minutes before you came here. No, they already knew we were putting trailer up for it. So, once since CCFS came and took our kid. Mhm. Because of all the [ __ ] We told him it's sold. She goes, "All right, sell it. We'll start sending people down there." I don't know if they ever sent anybody. >> phone? That's the person we bought the trailer from like a year ago. Okay. Do you have his number? The last number I have is the number I gave her to him. I got him on Facebook, too. Yeah, if you could give me his number. >> Yeah. Are you supposed to go through the office when you sell? >> no, you don't have to go through the office. You own the trailer. Yeah, I bought it, never registered it. I have where he where I can show you his texts right here. I'm going to go back to >> Why would you never get the title in your name? >> didn't have They said all we had to do is transfer the taxes. That's all we've ever done. Well, here's the thing, if I buy a car, I'm not going to leave that in If I buy it from you, I won't leave it in your car. If they if they still possess it, they own the title. They That's how we were told. And how did you get the title? Because I bought it right out. They You don't pay them nothing. So, if they're if you're paying them for the trailer, they own the title. If you own the trailer, they give you the title. Okay, but you just said that they hold the title. Well, obviously not. Yes, if if So, for instance, you're buying the trailer from them, they hold the title. Until it's paid. >> Correct. So, then if you buy the trailer trailer from somebody, you get the title like a car. And your and you get it titled in your name. Well, we were told we didn't have to do that. Well, I mean, do you do that with a car? I've never This is the first time I got one. And I told her if it's that big a deal, tomorrow when my bank opens, I'll go give her the money back. Cuz it ain't really an issue with the money. But they came over here acting crazy and we're like, "What are you talking about? We screwed you over. We don't screw people over. We have no reason to. We gave you the title the same way it was given to us." Besides the obvious scam, that's one hell of a moving process. Go in the house, scoop up as many loose clothes from the floor in arms, carry to the U-Haul, which looks like a mess, rinse and repeat. They are basically skipping town after scamming in front of the cops. So, who signed the title? He did. We've had that title since he did it. It was just wasn't dated. Okay. And we didn't date the title. Here's where I bought it back in for 3,000. Two bedroom, two bath. Mhm. I don't got nothing to lie to you about cuz I know what I own. Go here to Marketplace. I scroll all the way down here. Here it is. Sold. That was way back then. I own the trailer. Okay. Well, what I'm saying is according to that title, you do not. >> So, who owns it then? Looks like whoever this fur No, I own it cuz here's where So, was it left open and then when you sold it yesterday? >> just never put It sounds like Katie signed No, no, no, no. signed the title. I have the stuff right here. signed it. They just It was never dated. The only thing we told her is you don't have to date it cuz it wasn't dated. But everything was signed. Nobody signed nothing. That title was signed, been in my safe since I got the trailer. We got the title. We never put the title into my name. Because we were told by the previous manager >> you're saying it was signed and Katie just dated it yesterday? >> didn't even date it. There was no signature The only thing was on there was a signature and a print. >> Then who dated it? She had to have because we didn't date it. I told her yesterday it ain't dated. So, whenever you choose to go deal with it, it's it's on you. We never dated it. All right, that doesn't make sense to me. I told her to date it when I handed her the title and she handed me the cash. Said there's no date on it. Okay. I said, "So, Well, to me it looks like the same It looks like the same penmanship. It's the exact same pen. So, you're telling me that like Nobody >> a a a year time span, the same exact pen was used with the same penmanship. I didn't I'm telling you that title was signed a year ago. Well, I'm saying that I'm telling you nobody's Nobody did nothing. That title was signed and everything. Nobody signed After talking with the husband, the officer then came to speak to the wife about the situation. Hey, Mary Kay. You want You might talk to me over here. So, what's going on? He sold that We sold the house. Okay. And she wanted the house, so she gave us the money. Mhm. And yeah. Okay. So, she gave you the 2,000 and then Do you know this guy that the title is on? I wasn't here. I I moved from Indiana in May. All right, right. Yeah. But have you had any contact with them? I'm not answering questions. I'm just talking. Well, hold on. You guys aren't leaving. You're staying here. That's fine. We'll stay here, but I'm really curious as to what what you're trying to get at. I'm trying to get down to the bottom of it is what I'm trying to get Dude, I just told you to give me an email or email. You were just guy that called dude and asked to see the signed title. And I have it. When? When I first bought it. Hold on. I got to answer this customer. >> Go for it. Alpha Omega. How much longer? Cuz I got to go meet somebody. I don't know. Other officer's talking to the office right now. Her name is I got to double check. Yeah. Yeah, phone number. Looks like that she received a second set of text messages from Okay. Looks to be the same. I looked up the number. That's her picture right there. >> Yep. That's her number. Okay. So, [snorts] they presented this as this number was Yes, yes. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the wife's phone number was provided to the victim as the original owner's contact information. The original owner who sold the trailer to the suspects was never identified or contacted. So, with that, the officers moved in to arrest both of them. All right, Brian. Might get off the phone for me. For what? >> You're going to be under arrest. What am I being arrested for? Hands behind your back. All right, can I be pulled over? >> That's theft by deception. How? How is it theft when I just said I'll give the lady back her money? Yesterday I said it three times on your body cam. I bought the trailer and I wanted to get the title. You're not squeezing. All right, I'm not squeezing. I'm just holding on cuz if you fall, that's on me. All right, can I Can I you get my wife? Can I talk to my wife for a second? >> Well, just hold tight. What did I steal though? Or what did I that caused How did I >> Theft by deception for $2,000. >> For what though? Cuz you have no authority to sell that. You have If >> sell that until those lot fees are Who said that? The office. Who but the trick the Hold on. W- In is it Did they show you the lease in my name? That doesn't matter. You can't sell it because >> they told us we could though. No, they didn't. I have the text messages from the management and nobody's asking for Well, we need the proof. We just talked to the management. They said that they can't that you can't sell it. You have back fees on it. >> That's not I didn't know that. I just If Well, they wouldn't tell you that they could. So, question. Ask the lady if I give her her money back, I'll give her something in writing cuz I didn't do nothing wrong. I'll give her something in writing. I'll go get her money tomorrow off my account. That'll be something for later. But for right now, no, that's not an option. All right. Can you please have my wife come over here? Yeah. All right. You go ahead and stand up for us. Put your hands behind Put your back Oh my god. Cuz she didn't do the same thing. She didn't do nothing. I got some some on my phone. Well, say goodbye. What's my wife being arrested for? Can I have my phone? Just step out real quick. >> I want my phone though. I don't like people have my That's a company phone. I want my phone. >> Just step out, Brian. Turn around. Why is my wife being arrested? >> I already told you it's But she didn't do nothing. My wife wasn't even here. Can I The man was charged with theft by deception while his wife was charged with theft by deception and forgery. Thank you for watching.
