We're at Redwood and 93 speeds of 70 mph. 93 >> 93 and tomorrow. Still heading northbound. Still at 70 mph. Traffic flight. [clears throat] >> Looks like they got good spikes on >> good spikes. Good spikes. From the look of it, it got the driver side tires. >> He's losing tires. >> Ram me that motherucker. >> Hey, you just ram me. 7, right? >> Yep. >> He's going southbound now. >> With the pit failing to stop the first time, the officer tries again and this time it works like a charm and the driver finally gives up. >> Wrong lane of traffic now. cell phone in the wrong lane of traffic. >> I'm not sure the correct side of 93. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. >> Where are you at? >> Let me see your hands. Roll your window down. Roll your window down. >> Keep your hands outside the window. >> Doing nothing but running, dude. >> You're going to slowly unbuckle your seat belt. >> Can you get that gun out of my face? >> Slowly unbuckle your seat belt. >> Can you get the gun out of my face? says the guy who was just fleeing from the police twice in a stolen vehicle and wants him to be gentle. Oh, did I mention that he also rammed a police car? >> You guys got lethal? >> I don't have a gun. >> You're coming out. Come on. >> Yeah. All right. I'll open the door. >> You ain't going to be able to get out through the door. >> All right. All right. I'll get out. I'll get out, man. >> Come on, man. This is right now. >> Get out, bro. Get out. >> I will, sir. But I don't need to be yanked to the contact. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> I'm trying, bro. >> God damn it. Now it is. Stop. >> Stop resisting. You're going to get >> one. Stop. You're going to get tased. Tough. >> Aren't you bunch of [ __ ] dude? I was literally ready to comply. >> 560 county one in custody. off your neck. Hope you guys got that on camera. >> After securing this man in cuffs, the officers put him in the back of the squad car where he belongs. >> Got anything that's going to poke, stab, or injure us? >> No, sir. >> Any guns? >> No, sir. >> You okay back here, dude? How's it going? >> You're not going to fight anymore? >> No, man. That was fun to begin with. >> Wherever his car is right here. >> Do you want to transfer for me, >> Spen? I know it ain't going to help us now, but >> life would have been a lot better had you just pulled over. >> Just trying to talk to my girlfriend for your squad. He was the one that was pulling up. I tried to swerve out of the way and he just went to you guys. >> What's that? When did they fix that? >> That car is probably total no. That's K9 squad. The dog got a little shook up. >> Damn. I'm sorry. Why would you keep coming at me? >> Yep. I'm sorry, dude. >> Not bad. >> Oh, that ain't so bad. There'll be some damage, but not uh that's fixable. >> Can we get the wrapped round bumper back again? I like that. >> Mand did not wave. >> In the end, he was charged with vehicle fleeing or eluding an officer, causing bodily harm or property damage, two counts of attempting to flee or elude an officer, operating a vehicle without the owner's consent, and resisting arrest. All repeat offenses. His total cash bond was set at 27,500. Eventually, he pled no contest to fleeing or eluding an officer, causing bodily harm or property damage, and two counts of attempting to flee or elude an officer. The other charges were dismissed, but read in. He was sentenced to 5 years in state prison, followed by 5 years of extended supervision. Let's move on to this case now where this woman turns a simple traffic stop into chaos. >> Don't yell at me. >> YOU CAN'T DRIVE. YOU CAN'T DRIVE IN. DON'T YELL AT ME. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. DON'T TOUCH ME. >> It's March 20th, 2025. A cop on patrol conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle with a large fracture across the passenger side of the windshield. Let's check out what's going on. >> What do you mean? What's my problem? >> Why did you put me up? >> Because your windshield's broken. >> I know that. It just got broken. >> That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. That's why I pulled you over. It's a valid reason. Where's your driver's license? You pulled me over cuz you don't have anything to do. That's why you pulled me over. >> W You're the registered owner of the vehicle. >> Here you go. Duh. >> Duh. Okay. You got full uh full coverage. What happened? How did it break? >> Uh, one of my trainers play baseball. I was at Davis. Oh, I was at park the orange and blue park in Dville. They was playing at the damn thing. I do know. >> I'm sorry that happened. That sucks. Yeah. Well, give me good moments. Okay. >> Hey, what's up with your uh license? >> Um they get suspended um on the 31st. Um I don't know why. Well, I had to get a SR22. >> Okay. I know. >> And then when I had to get a SR22, they sent me something in the mail saying that my license will get suspended and the only way that I'll be able to get my heart shut is after a year after March 31st. Okay. So, um, I've been trying to figure out ways that I can by me having a job, how can I be able to get a hard >> So, now are you still have to have the SR22 or now they they told you? >> I don't know. That's the part that I'm trying to figure out. Do I still need to pay for my SR22 while they're secinged or what? >> Oh, so you got the SR22, then they suspended it, and now you're trying to figure out if you need to get a hardship. >> I'm not suspending till 31st. That's what >> on March 31st. Okay. 31st. So, I still have the SR22, but what the DMV told you to just see if I still needed to pay for the SR22 and to be funny. It's my first time going through this. I don't even know what what that is all the way. I know, of course, I got Tes. So, I don't have any DUI, no none of that stuff. So, I'm still kind of confused on why they would be suspended because of course I know I get Tes. I know that I didn't have insurance the last time I got pulled over. So I couldn't break from something. I did nothing. >> Yeah. >> Lady pretty sure they don't just suspend your license for no reason. Whether she's aware of that or not, she definitely had done something to get it suspended. And the officer has an idea why. >> Well, what I can say, I've been in a situation like this before where I had to have the SR22 and it's at heightened insurance. It's more expensive. Um, this non-judgment suspension that it has on there, possibly there was a lapse in coverage somewhere and maybe a ticket didn't get paid, something like that. That'll usually happen. and it'll cause the license to get suspended. Um, it's showing that it's currently not valid now. It's showing that it's not it's suspended right now. Okay. Um, it sounds to me like maybe there's just confusion for the 31st versus today or whatever. >> Can I look at Can I make you see the paperwork so you can see >> what it looks like to me on your is so this one right here is just fully revoking it whereas yours was already suspended and it's suspended for the 17th. But it looks like this is saying that it's just completely getting revoked unless you get all that stuff taken care of. >> And that's what I'm saying. I turned in all of that. I paid all my tickets. I turned in all of that stuff. So now I'm still confused on I got the SR22 what they wanted me to do. >> Yeah. The bottom. >> I did all of that stuff what they wanted me to do. So now I don't I don't know what else they expected me to do. >> Got you. >> Like I'm really confused. Like I did everything that I was supposed to do. So I don't be in predicament. >> Yeah. >> So I don't be in predicaments like this. Yeah, >> but I really did tear everything and I paid >> when I got my taxes. I paid everything to make sure that >> the toes. It was one for pala that I didn't know anything. I paid I paid nothing. >> It sounds to me like it was just honestly an honest mixup cuz it is showing suspended. I'm going to go see what I can do about it. Technically, when it's a suspended license, I have to give you a court date and it's a misdemeanor. Okay, that's if it's driving with a license suspended knowing. All right. So that's So it seems to me like maybe it was just a miscommunication. We thought it was the 31st, but it's actually it's already showing on the 17th. Okay. So I'm going to go see if I can do something about that. All right. >> So I don't even have nothing in the letter saying that this is the only thing. >> So what I can what we can look at I'm going to look at and see if I can downgrade it to driving without knowing as opposed to driving while knowing. Driving while knowing is a coordinate. Okay. Driving without knowing is just a ticket. All right. It's just a ticket. you get it fixed at the DMV and get it all straightened out and then ideally they might be able to just, you know, take it off. Okay. >> So, I'm gonna go see if I can do that for you. All right. Hang out for me a little bit. >> After attempting to cut her some slack with a ticket, the cop came to tell her that she still would get a court date. And that's when the encounter takes a turn for the worse. >> Something I did not know. >> All righty. So, here's the situation. >> That's weird. >> So, here's the situation. So, I do have to give you a court date. It's going to be on April 29th at about 9:00 a.m. You're going to want to call the Bradford County Sheriff's Office or excuse me, the Bradford County uh court. They'll be able to give you the specific time for the courts. Okay, there's that right there. I just need your signature right here. This isn't an admission of guilt or anything. It's just saying that yes, I did give you that. And instead of me taking >> I'm about to go to court. That's cuz Bradford just on some racist ass. >> All right. So, instead of you going to jail, I had you do that. Okay. If not, a good thing to do when it's in black and white right there that my license wasn't suspended till March. >> So, it's suspended right now. >> So, here's what's gonna happen. I just got to let you know. >> Don't yell at me. >> YOU CAN'T DRIVE. YOU CAN'T DRIVE. >> DON'T yell at me. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. DON'T TOUCH ME. Don't touch me. DON'T TOUCH ME. DON'T TOUCH [clears throat] Don't touch me. Get off me. Get the off me. Get out. Get off me. Get off me. Well, that was stupid and unnecessary. Her attitude turned this simple stop into a mess. And later, her cousin arrived at the scene. >> Well, your cousin, >> she's in the back here. >> She's in the back here. >> Can I just get her? >> No, she's under arrest. What? >> She's under resess for arresting. Resisting as well as driving without a driving with license suspend. >> She resisted. >> Yeah. >> Can I get far? >> Um, I don't care. That shouldn't be a problem. >> Uh, I can get where her keys at. >> Jack, >> can I roll down the window for you to talk to her? >> She resisted you? >> Yeah. >> Oh my god. Oh, what happened? What do you mean? Sorry. What happened with her leg? >> It's probably from her fighting. Do you want your phone in the jail? Do you want your phone in your property? >> Do you want your phone or do you want your sister to have your phone 674? You can cancel, record, >> sister's going to go ahead and take the car. Are you guys hearing background noise? deeper than BEING OBVIOUS. I DIDN'T DO [ __ ] SIR. SO, what happened? Cuz I was just on the phone with her the whole time. >> She was given a ticket. Her driving with license suspended her court. >> It's It's suspended. She was getting ready to leave. She can't drive. >> And I told him MY >> I SAID I WAS COMING, SIR. I just No, you didn't. >> So, here you come. Yeah, >> he touched me. It's >> all on video. Got it all. >> Dad, you touched me. You touched me. >> I did touch. You didn't need help. >> You needed help. >> Okay. >> You needed help. >> I'm done with this. >> You can't even do nothing with me. >> Your mama name, >> you can't do with me. You needed help from two other >> nasty. >> All right. So, >> so s even though she had all her paperwork from the police offic right now. Here's the situation. You can drive the car. >> Okay, >> that's all that's going. She's going to be taken to the Bradford County Court. She should have first appearance first thing tomorrow morning. Okay. At that time, they'll set bond and get all that other stuff figured out. Figure out how to get her out. Okay. >> As she's sitting in the back of the cop car, she kept making the situation even worse for herself by getting all worked up. >> He better be glad I'm in handcuff. >> Yep. >> Yep. Crap. >> Damn. >> What happened? GIRL. I HE TOLD ME CUZ I'm talking on the phone AND I'M TELLING HIM IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE WHY I GOT TO get a ticket if he read the paper black and white saying my license don't get suspended for till March 31st. YOU >> PAID YOUR LICENSE. >> I JUST PAID all of this stuff and everything. He getting mad cuz I'm talking on the phone. I'm aggravated. I'm frustrated. He telling me, "Oh, get out the car. He telling ME TO GET OUT THE CAR. WHAT AM I GETTING OUT THE CAR FOR? I DIDN'T EXPRESS MYSELF. THE IS YOU TALKING ABOUT? I'M DOING EVERYTHING BY MYSELF. WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I'M FRUSTRATED. I JUST PAID ALL THIS. >> SIR, >> that man GRABBED ME. >> AND YES, I WAS TELLING HIM DON'T GRAB ME. >> You don't think that you? >> More than likely not. Especially with this situation where the fact that she's resisting and she wants >> Oh, listen. If she resist you, what happened? She I'm saying you as to get out the car and she resist you or not. Stop. You making it harder for yourself. Just stop. >> Hey, knock it off. Knock it off. Knock it off. >> I understand. Let me underrest. >> She's under arrest. >> She under arrest. >> She's under arrest. >> Are you done with this car? >> So, this car? Yeah. She's going to take that car. >> Okay. Let her go take her straight to the jail. >> 104. >> All right. I'll meet you there. >> All right. Can you grab the car and you're good or get someone to get in there? Okay. >> All right. Thank you. >> While on the way to the station, she keeps running her mouth, arguing and spewing profanities. She even kicks the car. >> YOU TOUCH ME. THIS IS YOUR FAULT. YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF. I DIDN'T DO TO YOU. I CAN EXPRESS MYSELF. I DON'T GIVE a >> I did get my and notified >> I don't give A I DON'T CARE. I don't care. I don't give a >> Oh, she going to need >> I don't give a I DON'T YES. YES. YES. CUZ I'M HURT BECAUSE OF YOU. I'M HURT CUZ OF YOU. I DON'T GIVE a >> 5674. She's deciding she needs EMS. >> Stop all that. What is wrong with you? You're acting a fool. EMS. >> She's advising she'd like EMS. >> It doesn't matter, dude. You're throwing a temper tantrum for something you did. >> Okay. Well, look at what you did. I don't know what to tell you. [crying] >> And you spit on me, too. So, that's another thing. That's disgusting. >> You're gross. >> I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. HEY, HEY, knock it off. You want another charge? All right, you keep that up. When we get to the jail, you're getting tased. >> LET ME OUT. >> OKAY. All right. I'll let you out. Hang on. All right. So, EMS is here. I need you to act right. Okay. You going to act right? Are you hearing me? >> All right. Well, act right. Don't do anything stupid or else you will get tased. In the end, she's charged with driving while her license was suspended, resisting without violence and battery on a Leo. We're moving on to this case now where a man turns his ticket into a felony in an instant. >> There's nothing I could do to help you with this, sir. So, I just need you to sign right here. All right. >> Call No. I need you to call your man your your officer right now. Your your manager right now. >> Sir, come here. Give me my keys. >> No. Put your hand behind on your back. Put your hand >> Put your hand behind your back. No, you're not going to arrest me, bro. >> Put your hand behind. >> I'm not I'm not illegal. I'm not illegal. >> Oh, stop. >> Welcome to January 25th, 2024. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an illegally covered license plate. Well, let's see what's happening. >> Hello. >> Hi. How are you? >> Good. How are you? Good. My name's Deputy Mandis Page County Sheriff's Office. Reason I pulled you over for two reasons. Are you Mark? >> Yeah. Okay. Your license is suspended. Okay. Number two, the tag cover around you surrounding your tag. That's the second reason. >> What do you mean? >> Your license is suspended. >> How is it suspended? >> I don't know. I need your license, registration, insurance, please. I have to check that out. You're the registered owner, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. I got to grab it there. >> All right, just hang tight. Okay. >> After running his information, the cop found out that his license was suspended. So, he goes back to ask him to step out of the car for further investigation. >> All right, sir. Do me a favor. Step out of the vehicle for me. You got to leave all your stuff, dude. Come back here. >> All right. So, listen up. So, your license suspended because of your insurance. >> My insurance is valid. There, you know, there there was less than 24 hours. My my insurance is valid. I paid my insurance card. I paid my insurance bill. >> Okay. I'm just letting you know on on the system is showing suspended since July because of last year because of no insurance. Okay? Now, if you have insurance now, I don't know, but they they suspended in July. Okay? So, with that being said, I'm not taking you to jail. I'm just giving you a a court date, a criminal citation. Okay? All right? So, you get a citation for license being suspended, have your license while being suspended, the registration insurance. Okay? Now, I'm going to explain to you. You're going to have a court date. fix all that. Get your license, reinstate it, get your insurance, get your registration, bring it to court, and if you get all that and bring it to court, most likely the judge will throw it out. Most likely, I cannot tell you they will, but it's a possibility. If you come with everything, all good. Okay. So, with that being said, I just need you to sign here with your signing a sign saying you're going to show up to court. Your court dates, I have them right here. I'll explain to you once you sign over here. Okay? with. And also with that being said, the state of Florida has a cease tag order on your tag. So, I'm going to be taking your tag with you. Okay. >> Well, at least he doesn't have to go to jail. All he has to do now is sign that ticket, give up the license plate, and fight it in court. However, instead of doing that, he decides to argue with the officer about this infraction. >> What do you mean, man? >> I'm I'm legit. I'm legit. I have a license, registration, and insurance. I am completely legit. I'm telling you the truth. >> Explaining to you. I'm not saying that you're lying, but I'm letting you know that the system in the state of Florida is showing you suspended. >> Well, can can we go over the system together? Cuz I was just trying to check that. >> There's nothing I could do to help you with this, sir. So, I just need you to sign right here. >> What? Dude, I can't I can't have you take my tag. What are you talking about? >> You can't drive, sir. Huh? >> You can't drive. All right. >> Call Call No. I need you to call your man your your officer right now. Your your manager right now. I need you to call your manager cuz I am legal. Everything is legal with you. >> I'm going to ask you. I'm going to You want a supervisor? Is that what you want? >> Yeah. Okay. I'm going to ask you before I call the supervisor. Are you going to sign the citations? >> Why should I sign the citations? >> I'm letting you know if you don't sign the citations, you're going to jail. >> So, are you going to sign before I call myself? That way, I can let them know two things at one time. You want to No, you're you're lying to me right now. Or no, you may not be lying to me, officer. What what you're receiving is information that may be not legit. I could call my insurance company right now and let you know that I have insurance. >> I'm not saying that you don't have insurance, but they suspended. There might have been a time that you didn't have and it suspended. I don't know. I don't work for the DMV. I don't work for the insurance. I don't work for Tallahassee. I'm letting you know in the state of Florida system that I have. You are suspended since July. Okay. No, >> but that's [ __ ] because then they would have they I would have got something in the mail stating that I had no car insurance. Okay, >> my car insurance people would not insure me if I was suspended. They have been insuring me all this time. They contact DMV. The insurance company contacts DMV when a person is suspended from their license. That means that they're they're nonvalid or they are suspended. They contact they never contacted DMV. Uh >> okay. I I understand what you're telling me, sir, but I'm letting you know that on the system you're suspended. So, what I what I need from you >> and you check the another system. >> No, the system we only have one system we go by. Okay. So, with that being said, I need you to sign here. Okay. That's just saying that you're going to show up to court. I need your fingerprint. I'm going to take that tag with me. and you need to call somebody to come pick the vehicle and you up cuz you cannot drive. >> What did he expect the officer to do? He's the police, not the DMV nor the insurance company. Just sign the damn ticket, allow the officer to take your plate, go to the DMV, and get your paperwork straightened out. Arguing on the road is never a good answer. Sir, just hold up. He goes, "If I'm legal, okay, which I'm telling you that I'm legal, you know, so my driver license is legal. My tag is legal." Why were you saying that my tag's not legal? >> I never said it's not legal. >> You said the thing around the tag is not is not >> Okay, what I said that's a traffic infraction. Okay. You cannot have anything around the tag touching any letters or numbers. You see where it's touching the sunshine state, the my Florida? You cannot have it touching any numbers or letters. Okay? All right. I'm not giving you a citation for that. I'm just telling you that's one of the reasons I pulled you over, sir. >> Okay. I'm not giving you But I do have a cease tag order from the state of Florida. Take your tag. So, I will be taking your tag. >> Well, where show me where you have that? Show me. >> It's on my system, sir. >> Can I see it? No sir. Why? Because I'm not required to show you that. Okay? I'm treating you with the most up respect. All I'm asking you is to sign this. Give me a thumb print. I'm going to take your tag and then we're going to or you're going to have to call somebody to come pick you and the vehicle up. Sir, we're not going to stand here all day. >> Can I show you my insurance right now? No. That's not going to matter. I want your supervisor there cuz what you're doing to me is illegal, bro. You're going against my rights as a United States American citizen. Hold on. You are because you are. You threaten to [ __ ] take me uh away and and arrest me. That was number one. Number two, you're saying that I'm not I am not legit on the road and I'm telling you that I am. So that's two things that two infractions that you're going against me against my rights as United States. My question to you, I want your supervisor here so I could explain these things. >> I will call the supervisor. Okay. Are you going to sign the citations? >> Traffic 13 and traffic. Sir, come here. Listen, sir. Sir. >> Well, that was stupid. The fact that he went back to his car, reached and sighted while agitated has to be one of the dumbest things you could do in this situation. Don't Don't stop. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> No. You're not going to arrest me, bro. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I'm not illegal. I'm not illegal. >> Don't stop. All right. Got it. >> Imagine getting the nicest cop and still managing to get arrested. I mean, this officer couldn't have made things any clearer and more straightforward. Good for him. He laid out everything perfectly, clear, and easy. He gives the dude every opportunity to get this dealt with with zero punishment or stress. But no, he wants to be a roadside lawyer and get his ass arrested with one or two felonies. Roll over. Stand up. >> Can you get my glasses, please? Mike, nice to walk my head. Can you please send his eyes? >> All right. All right. Hold on. Hold on. Stay inside. In the end, he's charged with resisting with violence, battery on an officer, and driving while license suspended or revoked. At this point, you got to identify yourself. Okay. >> Oh, no. I had my seat belt on. It was like this. >> All right. So, like he said at this point when we saw you did not have your seatelt on. So, you have to identify yourself. >> No, I have my seat belt on. >> Okay. Well, you can keep saying that, but if you don't ID yourself, then you're going to go to jail. Okay. So, >> for not IDing yourself. That's what happens when you commit a violation. It doesn't matter. You committed a violation. When you passed us, you didn't have your seatelt on. >> So, listen, man. We just need you like we need to be able to find you in the system. >> You're not going to get cited, but we do have to document that we're going to give you a warning for the seat belt. So, >> I know, man, but we're, like I said, we're just having trouble finding you in the system. That's all. Well, everybody's in the system. If you've ever had any form of ID in any state in this country, you're in the system. >> What's your name? >> What's that? >> What's your name? >> Gaines. And we'll get past it. >> Tyler here was charged with possession of cocaine, which explains his paranoia, hyperactive behavior, resisting without violence, and false identification. Moving on to this other case now where a seat belt violation turns into a felony. This time an entitled lady did it. >> You're going to jail today on a felony for failure to stop. At most would have gotten a ticket for a seat belt and a warning for an expired tag. Probably >> at most, >> right? >> But you chose otherwise. >> It's June 4th, 2024. Cops conducted a traffic stop again on a vehicle for failure to wear a seat belt and unexpired registration. All right, let's check out this one. >> Stay in the car. >> Can I help you? >> Stay in the car. >> Can I help you? >> No. Stay in the car. >> Can you take your glasses off so I can see your eyes? >> Stay in the car. >> I'm sorry. Why are you >> Because >> Okay. What do you want me to do? >> I want you to stay here. Now you're being arrested for No. >> Wait. What am I being arrested for? >> Tell her to stop. >> Wait. I I'm stopped. So what what would I do? >> Stop. Stay right here. >> Wait. Please don't put handcuffs on me because I haven't >> I will, but please do not put handcuffs. >> No, you are going to be handcuffed. Stop. >> I haven't done anything to endanger anybody. So, >> stop. >> Are you hearing yourself? >> Are you hearing yourself? Stop resisting. >> What am I resisting? >> Please don't put handcuffs on it. Don't put anybody in. You are going to make it worse. >> What am I doing? >> You're being arrested now. You're resisting. >> What am I being arrested for? You can't take away my human rights. >> Freedom. Oh my god. Are you kidding me? >> Central send me another unit. >> I hope you have a body cam. Like are you kidding me? >> Roll over. >> Why are you Why are you using this kind of force on me? What am I doing? >> If you don't stop. >> I have a child in the car. >> Yeah, I know. And you're being dumb. >> Can you please let me call somebody so that she can have somebody to be with? My ex-husband is at Walmart. >> Are you going to send me another unit? >> Can you please let me call my ex? >> Put your right hand behind your back. >> Please let me call my ex so that the baby doesn't have to watch this. Put your hand behind your back. You're going to get tasered if you don't stop. >> Will you call him? >> I will when you're done. Put your hand behind your back. >> Area co. Please call him before you do anything else so that she can be safe. >> Okay. >> I got one in custody. >> And another case that would have ended in just a ticket if the driver knew how to just listen. After securing her in handcuffs, the cops then moved her to the squad car. >> Why Why are you Why did you do all this? >> I don't know why you're doing this. I was trying to talk to you like human to human >> and then you're acting like I'm some kind of dangerous person. >> Okay. >> Why are you doing this? >> What's your name? >> What? My name is Julie. And why are you doing this? >> Why did you do it? >> Why did you do this? >> You didn't stop when the cops are behind you. >> You don't I know, but what's going on? What have I done? >> You didn't have your seatelt on. That's the whole premise for the stop. >> But you're violating my >> Why are you keep turning around? >> Why can't I look at you? >> Because I don't want you to turn around. Stop. I thought we were talking. I like >> Okay, we're not talking right now. I'm done talking. Stop. >> Human and so are you. >> Okay, stop. >> You are you afraid of me or >> No, I'm not afraid of you. You just You've been non-compliant from the getgo. >> Non-complant. What? You're not non-compliant to what? >> To you violating my human right to to live. Like, what? I don't get it. I I didn't have my seatelt and then you're going to mess up my day. I have people waiting on me. >> Ow, that hurts. What? What? Here they are. They passed you. >> You just passed me. >> Did you call my am my ex? So that you can There's a baby in the car. >> I know. >> Please. >> We'll deal with that in just a second. >> No. Please do not put me in there until I know she's safe. >> She's going to be >> You wonder why I'm acting this way when there's a child with me. >> She's going to be completely safe. >> Hey, secure her in the car. Can you guys please make I need to hear that you're calling. >> It's a child. If you don't let me make sure that the child is okay. >> All right. The child is fine. >> All I want. >> Have a seat. >> After getting her inside that car, the officer then came to take care of the kid. >> Hi, sweetheart. How are you? Good. >> Where do you live? >> I live in California. >> In California? >> I was I was visiting. Who who do you live here with? Do you Is grandma here or? >> Um no. >> Mom, dad, anybody? >> No. I was um visiting them. >> An aunt? Do you have any family here? >> That's her That's my aunt. >> That's your aunt? >> Yeah. >> All right. Who's your mom or dad? Do they live here? >> Um I have my uncle. >> Your uncle? Is that her husband? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You okay? He's a little scared. Let me get her phone. Smells like marijuana in there. >> With that being all done now, he tried to call someone to come and pick up this little kid. >> Hey, Dol. >> Okay. Can I give you my ex-husband some number to call? >> Thank you. >> What's your code? Go to my calls. I think it's probably the last one. Chris, >> why did you not stop? >> Why are you treating me like I'm a criminal? >> Because you didn't stop for the sheriff's office. >> Why should I stop when I haven't done something wrong? I'm busy my life. >> Okay. When there's red and blue lights behind me, just call Chris and then we'll talk. Let's call Chris so I can make sure Kelly's okay. >> Hey, this is Sergeant Musker of the sheriff's office. How are you, >> Chris? Good. Hey, I'm here with your ex, apparently. Put your foot in there. >> Yeah. >> Put your foot in the car. >> Listen, please. >> Can you put the foot in the car? >> No. You >> All right. So, is this your ex? >> Yeah. >> All right. So, I tried to stop her on my call and by the day's end, she refused to stop. She just continued driving along, refusing to stop. Gets out of the car. She ends up getting arrested, but she's got a young child in the car. Is that your niece? >> Yeah. >> Like your blood le blood niece or >> No, it's her her sister daughter. >> All right. Where where are you? If you don't mind me asking, sir, >> I am almost back to my house. >> Is there any way you can meet me at East 4th? And >> what's going on? >> She's being arrested for failure to stop and resisting arrest. I >> I don't know why she wouldn't stop. Does she have a valid license? She's suspended. What What's her deal? >> She doesn't have a license. >> So, I'm on Hickory and East Fourth. >> So, after the ex came and picked up the kid, the cop goes back to have a few words about her stupidity. >> All right, Julie. >> Yes. >> My name is Sergeant Musgrove. So, I'm with the sheriff's office. The reason I was stopping you is for two reasons. One is you did not have a seatelt on. Two is your registration is expired. All right. When the police turn on their lights and sirens behind you, you're required to stop by law. >> By law? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And you failed to do so. >> Right. >> You clearly saw me behind you. >> Yes. >> I saw you even look over to your left at me. >> Yes. >> And completely disobey, stopping me. You even told your niece that you just didn't want to stop, that the cops can't make you stop. >> Well, it's true because if you if you think about Listen, this is my line of thinking. If you really want to know why, first of all, I know my registration is out and I also know that a lot of other things why I couldn't stop and that you guys are cops and you're going to obey the law to the tea whether or not it violates another person's right. So, I know all that and I was trying to decide what do I do here because, you know, I'm about to take a trip and I don't know where I'm going to reregister my car and I just don't know what kind of a person you are. And so, the truth is that my heart's conviction human being to human being is that just because somebody tells you you have power over my body doesn't mean that you do. Okay? So, I have that and then I have life and I have a child. And so, of course, in the moment, I'm trying to assess what is the right move here. and I didn't pull over. I think that you went overboard, but I understand why. I understand why you do what you need to do. This is your job and this is what you committed to doing. So, >> you know, if you would have stopped, you would have just gotten a ticket. >> I probably could have chatted my way out of it, but I didn't. >> At most, you would have got at most would have gotten a ticket for a seat belt and a warning for an expired tag. Probably at most, >> right? >> But you chose otherwise. And for every >> action there's a reaction, just so you know. So today you're going to go to jail and tell her to stop. >> I stopped. >> You didn't stop willingly. >> I actually stopped willingly. So how is that? >> You stopped more than a mile away. >> But I still stopped in a very safe neighborhood. >> And you told your niece that you didn't feel like stopping. >> Well, because I didn't. And that is a true statement. But I did stop. And we can express our feelings without getting punished for it. Right. >> Well, you're going to jail today on a felony for failure to stop. >> Okay. And you'll get >> And you feel good about that? Human to human. >> No, I don't. But you made >> You're making the choice. You made the choice >> and you are too. >> Okay. >> Because humans are human. You understand God's law. >> I uphold the law of the state of Florida. I sworn to uphold the laws of the state of Florida. >> Do you believe it's a violation of human rights to give somebody a ticket for not wearing a seat belt? >> So you elect state legislators in the state of Florida, right? >> No. >> You don't? >> No. Because I actually >> Well, you live in the state of Florida, right? I do. >> Okay. So the state the state legislators are who make the laws, right? Human laws. I understand that. I understand. But there's going to come a time soon where we say we're not going to just let other people tell us what it is to be human and live. >> Okay. >> And that we have to keep playing these games that get us locked up in jail. If I was the danger, >> unfortunately unfortunately in the state of Florida that will probably not happen, >> right? Well, I think eventually it could. I'm just living in hope and I'll I'll deal with what you want to dish out to me because you are choosing also. You see what kind of a person I am. You understand your choice. I did make your choice. I did make my choice. >> All right. >> So, where's Chris? >> He's He's coming. >> And we're not leaving till he's here. >> No, absolutely not. >> This woman is charged with failure to obey police and resisting without violence. She's sentenced to 60 days in jail with 54 days credited as time served. Let's move on to this case now where another girl turns a simple ticket into a felony. >> Free court. >> DO NOT [ __ ] TOUCH ME, >> MAN. Stop pulling. You stay there or you'll be arrested. Okay. She's got She's got to She's got to chill. She's got to chill. Stop or you're going to be thrown on the ground. Stop it. >> Let me go. >> No, you're under arrest. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, you are. >> You break my arm. Sorry. Piece of [ __ ] I'mma punch you. >> Well, that's a that's a felony right there for making a threat. Okay. You just upgraded from a missing minute to a felony. >> There's no reason for this. >> You put yourself in this situation, not me. >> There's no reason for it. [groaning] >> After putting her in cuffs, the cops moved her to the squad car. >> What am I being arrested for? >> Resisting arrest without violence. Okay. >> For what? >> Not stepping out of the car when I told you to do so. >> This is mying vehicle. >> I don't have to. >> Yes, you do. No, I do not. >> You going to learn >> anything illegal on you? >> No, don't touch me. You are not a woman. >> I'm Am I patting? Am I >> I'm not a woman. >> I don't have to be a woman. >> I willing scream rap. >> You scream all you want. I told you everything's being recorded. >> Call your glasses. >> No. piece of [ __ ] next to. >> In the end, she was charged with resisting, threat to a public servant, and failure to maintain insurance. >> You're going to have to get out of the vehicle now. >> Your car is being towed. >> I'm not going to use. >> I'm not about >> It's October 3rd, 2025 in Florida. Cops conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle with a suspended license plate. So, here's what happened next. >> Hey, ma'am. I'm good. How are you? >> Good. I'm Deputy Christine Griini River County Sheriff's Office. The reason why I stopped you is because the registered owner to this vehicle has a suspended license and there's a suspension on the license plate. Do you have your driver's license on you, ma'am? >> As the officer is asking for her license, she seems more concerned about her phone than looking for that license. But eventually, she hands it over. >> Is this your husband's vehicle? >> Whose vehicle is this? Yours? Do you have the um insurance and registration for this vehicle? >> It's in my husband's car. >> It's in your husband's car. So, you don't have those >> insurance papers? >> They're over at the home. Okay. So, not in the car? No. Okay. One second. I'll be right back. >> The officer returned to her cruiser, ran her insurance information, and found out that there was no valid insurance on file for that car. In Florida, driving without insurance isn't just a minor traffic violation. It means the vehicle cannot legally be driven away from this stop. >> Yeah, it says no insurance on fire and she cannot produce any insurance, >> but she's suspended. >> Okay. What was she suspended for? >> Um, so hers is suspended since July the 7th of this year. Failure to pay traffic fine. Failure to pay traffic fine. Failure to pay another traffic fine. Uh, FR suspension. A case number on this. And then she has another suspension for violation resulting in death and or seriously bodily injury. >> So they suspended her license for not paying that. >> I was told that if a vehicle doesn't have insurance, we're supposed to >> The officer then returned to the woman to give her one more chance to find that insurance since she was so insistent on having it. >> Hello, ma'am. >> Ma'am. Hello. the >> that's a hospital building. >> So instead of insurance papers, she for some reason hands the officer documentation from a hospital visit. And also the fact that she blasted music right in their faces makes her even more arrestable. >> Do you mind lowering that? Can you lower that? This is This is not proof of insurance. >> No, this is not This is not insurance. What insurance company do you have? Do you know what policy you're you're supposed to be responsible to have that in the car at all times? Okay. Do you is is there any way you can provide proof of insurance? The mobile the mobile app online or anything? >> I don't know how to download. >> All right. Listen, I'm I'm trying to help you out here. It's criminal offense where you not have any insurance on your car. You understand that? Are you calling anybody? Are you trying to look for the insurance? >> All right. So, call somebody to pick you up. Instead of doing what these cops said, the woman insisted that the officers let her drive home. But with no license and insurance, of course, that's not going to happen. >> No, ma'am. You have to get a ride. >> You have to get a ride. This vehicle has no insurance. >> Either either you could walk home or you could call somebody to pick you up, but you're not driving this car. You could get insurance and go pick it up at the tower, but as of right now, your car is going to be towed. After removing her plate, the officer then tried to explain her fines and charges. >> Someone coming here to get you. >> Why? Cuz the vehicle has no insurance and you do not have a driver's license. You do not You weren't able to produce that though. You have a suspended driver's license, Miss You can't operate this vehicle. >> I'm not doing anything to you. You were issued two citations from the city of Vero Beach and you didn't pay those citations. Did you know that? >> I stay here. >> This is Vero Beach. >> After a while, a tow truck arrived on scene and the traffic stop is now over. She's free to leave, but refuses to do so. >> Now, this vehicle is going to be towed. You're going to have to get out of the vehicle now. Okay, ma'am. >> Why? >> Because this vehicle is not insured. And because it's not insured, we have to tow this vehicle. >> I'm not This Everybody gets the same treatment when they operate a vehicle with no insurance. Ma'am, >> can you take me with it? >> No, we're not taking you with it. >> You can walk. Absolutely. >> You can't walk, miss. You have to get out of the vehicle, ma'am. >> What was that? >> Somebody can take you home. My stuff. My stuff. >> This is why I come asking you to get somebody to come pick you up. >> The police remain professional with Marcina even as she frustrates their efforts to get her home peacefully. >> I cannot know. The vehicle is not insured. >> You can you can do too much to protect me. Okay. Every time you see your time in my life, I will take you off in my life. >> Okay. Ma'am, I still I don't do nothing for you. >> Okay. Ma'am, I need you to get out of the car. She's not getting out of the car. >> You need to get out of your car. Your car is being towed. Okay. You're giving a lawful order right now to get out of your car. If you come out of your car, ma'am, it's unlawful order. You're going to be resistant arrest. Do you understand that? >> I'm not going to arrest you. >> And with the entitlement clouding her mind, the officer had no other choice but to pull her out of the car and put her under arrest. Ma'am, >> come out of your car. >> Stop. I'm not out. Today, I'm not out. >> Get out of here. Today I'm not out. Today I'm not out. Stop. >> How you bite me? >> Stop. What now? >> Stop. >> Let me go. >> Don't bite me. HIM. >> As she's resisting, she grabs the officer's radio and accidentally alerts nearby cops to her violent behavior. It's brilliant. Several units then rush to the scene to offer assistance. Give >> them 1033. They're struggling with somebody. Oh yeah, it's 10:30. Stop. Stop. >> Stop fighting. >> Ma'am, ma'am. Thank you. Not again. [groaning and screaming] You fight him. >> Stop scratching. >> As more backup arrived, the woman was finally able to be placed in handcuffs safely. >> She's kicking, scratching, and everything. >> Give me your other hand. >> Drag her out. He dragged her out from the car. >> Hold on. >> Get your hand out. Stop resisting. >> You go. [clears throat] >> Stop resisting. >> Stop scratching me again. too. 11. >> Come on. >> Hold on. Let me get your milk out. >> Got it. Yeah, I got it. >> I don't know. What? I don't know why you use me. >> Calm down. Calm down. >> Watch your head. Step in the car. >> I can't. I've been an accident. >> I am telling you. Step in the car. I'm put you. Left me. You're under arrest. >> I did nothing. I'm >> sit up. >> Okay. Sit up straight. You >> sit up straight. >> I can't. >> There you go. >> Okay. There you go. After securing her in the back of the squad car, they start to take her down to the station, but had to quickly pull over to put more restraints on her because of her flopping around like a dead fish. >> You have a spin. >> You have a >> Listen, you want to you want to put her in that anyways? >> Stop. Your other foot. >> Are we going to have to tie your feet? >> Okay. >> What's wrong with the knee? Why you push me down? >> All right. Listen, it's fault. >> I don't do nothing. What I do not do to my life. My childhood, my neighbor, look at what you done to me. Abuse me of my own. >> Oh my. Okay, you're right. Take it UP FROM ME. IN THE END, SHE'S CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting without violence, and failure to maintain required insurance. >> Hey, don't touch me. >> I'm going to touch you. >> Do not touch me. >> Okay. >> I I didn't touch you. >> Hey, listen to me, guys. Jesus Christ. >> Welcome to June 27th, 2025. Cops in Illinois tracked down a hit-and-run suspect to a residence. And here's what happened next. How you doing? >> I'm great. >> You're great. >> Oh, we got a report that you struck somebody on a scooter. >> I didn't uh hit anyone. >> Well, Max is here. >> Well, they have your license plate. So, on Sheridan Road. Where are you coming from? >> From him uh uh swimming >> at the dog beach. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Which way? Wait, guy. A guy chased me, >> right? He chased me and he hit my car. So, I'm >> You just But you just said no one >> there was no You didn't hit anybody or nothing. >> I didn't. >> And now you're telling me >> except me. >> That would have been a great That would have been a great story to start with. >> This is I'm not a guy that does things like that. So, >> I wasn't there. I don't know. >> Do you want to Do you want to go inside and have a cup of coffee or >> No, no. I I want I just got to see if the other officer needs to talk with you or not. That's That's how everybody does it here. >> It didn't take a second look to see this man is wasted. The more he tries to act sober, the more drunk he appears. But you can't blame him. After all, the hardest part of being drunk is acting sober. >> How much have you had to drink? >> Nothing. >> I smell alcohol on you. >> I That's great. >> That's great that you do that. Look at this. I know. He's a great guy. >> But I can't ignore the fact that you're driving. >> I'm right here. >> There was an incident involving you possibly striking somebody. >> No. Somebody >> and I threw alcohol in your breath. >> So, what do you want to do about that? >> You're going to have to do whatever you want. You say you had nothing to drink, but you don't want to give a breath test, >> sir. >> So, do you you want to do some field sobriety test? >> Just stop it. >> You don't tell me to stop it. >> Okay, Mr. >> Look at this guy. Yeah, I know. Great dog. Yeah. >> What a weird guy. Why'd he keep bringing the good boy into this? He's acting like owning a dog makes it impossible to be involved in a crash. >> There's nothing going on except >> there is something going on >> except for what's going on down there. >> Okay. >> Oh my god.
