This guy was trying to leave his girlfriend, but things took a turn when the cops got involved. Stay out here. Stay out here, man. All right. That's crazy. Cops respond to reports of a domestic argument, but things quickly escalate when a woman is accused of assaulting her partner and then resist officers during her arrest. Take a look. Hi. How you doing? Are you Sophia? Yeah. Hi. You want to come out here and speak with us for a minute? I'll stay right here. Okay. What's going on today? What's up? What's happening today? Not sure. Why are we here? Not sure. You tell me. I mean, you would know better than I would. I really would. Did you call it? I did not call it. Oh, okay. Did something happen today? No. Nothing happened today? No. Do you have any weapons in the home? Any weapons? I have no weapons in the home. Okay. Is there anything good for me? Yeah, we got a call for uh I think is his name. Can you tell me anything about that? I cannot tell you anything about that. Okay. Is there tell me about that? I'm trying to figure it out. That's why I'm here. Okay. It was just nothing. I don't have anything to tell you. Okay. All right. Do you have an ID on you? No. What was your first name? I will not tell you any of my information. I don't feel like you're being very friendly. Speak to somebody else. You want to speak to somebody else? Okay. Give me one second. Thanks. I'm sorry if you feel like I'm not being friendly. I'm not friendly. I don't want to speak to you anymore. So, um, if you can just help get my dog in here. Absolutely. What's your dog's name? Reese. So, he is um a firefighter fire medic here. So, clearly I've saw and videotaped you guys having a full conversation out there for about five minutes. I just got here. Sure. Hold on a second. Hold the phone. Push the BS button. What stands out the most, and again, if you're new to the channel, is you got these two A's and the two D's that I talk about, right? Your attitude approach, your disposition, your demeanor, right? that kind of dictates how the incident's going to go down. This is the way I like to put it. However, posturing, I should add the P. She is completely posturing like what are you doing here? You know what? You tell me. And the fact of the matter is that you get a 911 call and there essentially is a crime that has been committed. However, we need further information and we're kind of giving Sophia an opportunity to go ahead and let us know your story. Okay. So, I don't know how it's going to go down. Let's see. There a bunch of people already speaking with him. I just got here. I haven't spoken with Corey at all. Sure. Okay. So, I'm just saying I don't like the way that you're approaching me. Okay. I would like to speak with a woman. Okay. That's fine. Yeah. Should be all right over here. Stay out here. Stay out here, man. All right. She wants to speak with a woman. Won't speak with me. Okay. I'm going to step to the side. Okay. She's I heard a door slam. Oh, there we go. Hi, how are you? I'm okay. I'm Deputy Jenkins. What happened today? So, I don't feel like discussing my situation. So, whatever is being said. Okay. Well, we were told one side and so we so we were because you called 911 and No, I never called 911. Someone called 911 and we heard the whole thing. That's fine. The whole argument. I never called 911. So, we got So, whoever calling one, you can speak to. Okay. It's not me. But we would like to speak to both parties so that we could get both of your sides of the story. Okay. So, would you like to tell me what happened? I don't have much to say. Okay. I'll take whatever you got. I don't have much to say. Okay. So, it's just that simple. You guys want an argument? There you go. Good job, Drinkings. No, I have nothing to say. Why? You are being arrest for domestic violence for what? Domestic battery. Come on. No. Uhuh. He I have photos of him hitting me. Okay. Would you like to talk about it? Yeah. I'd like to talk about him hitting me a bunch. Okay, then let's go. Get out of my house. That's crazy. Stop resisting. Stop. Stop. Stop. Grab one arm. Grab one arm. One arm right here. I got this. My dog. I am. Although you comply. You guys are serious. You're around me. My dog or my dog here. Excuse me. You pressing. Okay. Well, you're not complying. So, I don't believe I should go under arrest. Okay. Well, that's not your decision to make your phone right there with the photos. Would you like to abuse? My camera got knocked off. You got to go in a second. Okay. Let's get rid of our Just calm down and we'll tighten We'll untighten these and go ahead. Let's go. You're going to arrest him after you see what's on my phone. So, I don't know why you guys are acting like this. I asked you if you'd like about it and you didn't want to until you were placed under arrest. What was that? You said you kicked me twice. Are you okay? Yeah. I'm enforcement officer. It's 216. You go to high school. I have been here for 25 years. I think high school. No, but it's not funny because you guys are being very aggressive towards me. He has literally hit me. Well, we're trying to investigate, but your compliance is my suggestion is to assist and comply and not fight or kick people in. I apologize for the can you and I hope that you're okay. Put the back of your palms together, Cory. Back of your palms together. Not on your butt, but together. back of your palms together. Thank you. I have not ever been aggressive. I'm sorry. I just want to get everybody else's camera's on. You know, so why don't we get my phone? Why don't you bring your phone? Chill for a second. I'm very chill. Push it. No, you're not. You're not chill at all. You've postured. You pretty much created the exigency for cops to use force, right? You want to use reasonable amount of force to effect that arrest, right? You know, make sure that it's not disproportionate. And so far so good. When you have someone handcuffed, you don't want to like drag them and push them real hard to get them into the police cruiser. But just as long as you use the necessary force to complete the arrest and you know, probably going to end up at the Great Bar Motel. But before all that, all you had to do is just tell us your side of the story. So chill when like I'm getting hit, too. I was going to lock these. I told you that we got one side of the story and we'd like to hear yours and you told me you had nothing to say. I'll walk out this way. Do you have anything in your pockets? No. Face the car. Anything you bring inside the jail that could be considered conban would be another felony. Okay. And what am I getting charged with? Domestic battery. And for what? For [snorts] battering your domestic partner. What was that? I happened. Was it scratches? What was it? We got a report. I just want to know like what what what is the like what is it? The charge. She just told me. Yeah. Yes. So I heard the charge is the massive battery, but like from what? From the scratches. Is it like me hitting him? What is it? It would be from pushing him. Pushing him. Okay. He pushed me. Okay. But you didn't want to talk about it. Okay. Okay. I hear you. I asked you what your side of the story was. We could have gone a completely different way, but you told me you didn't want to talk about it. Okay. All right. Will you spread your feet for me? Let me get on that. You know, I've noticed lately that slipping the cuff is like happening a lot. It just happens. And so now what we have to do is we got to rehandcuff you. And again, we have to use force to effect that arrest, right? Or overcome that resistance or to prevent that escape, right? It's any of those three for the most part. Ma'am, what's going on? It just came off. Yeah, that's crazy. Pepper. Give me yours. Get out. Try this again. You come out of them next time, you're going to be hollering. Okay. I don't want You're You're definitely Do you want to hop on? I got to hop. Oh, no. I don't have my car. [ __ ] mess I had. Stop. We're not doing this. I asked for a woman for this and that's why I was talking to you, but you didn't want to talk to me. What are you? What are you grabbing him for? What are you grabbing him for? Nobody's grabbing anybody. This is not going to go down. Give me your arm. Give me your arm. Give me your arm. She's pulling her arm underneath. Yeah. Okay. She's out. It's out. It's out. I got it. I got her arm. Ow. You're not really complying with us. No one hit you in the face. Yeah, you just hit me in the face with your boot. Oh, well, I apologize. I wasn't trying. I was just trying to get less. Get out of the What? I apologize. You [ __ ] woman beaters. 248. It's so funny. That doesn't even hurt as bad. Trying to hurt nobody. No, you want to hurt me. Okay. Sorry. No, you guys are all perfect. Everything you do is wrong. Let's make sure it's all recording. Go over to your side. By the way, just an observation. When you handcuff with your hands out like, let me show you. Like this, right? This way, I should say. It's way more uncomfortable as opposed to, you know, from the back like this. Little more comfortable. But now we have no choice. And then you got to sew tight and then double lock them to ensure she doesn't slip the cuffs again. Ow. Let me Yeah, if we help you up, would you be able to scoot forward and pop on my knees? Oh, yeah. Just go ahead. It's so scary for you. Oh, how about the firefighters that beat theing women out here? Watch. Good thing we're not firefighters. Yeah, we're not firefight. Yeah, I know you're not firefight. Get in the car. You're welcome. Have a great one. Are you on top of the seat belt? I can't breathe. So far, you know, I just want to share with you about my experience when we used to always arrest and put the suspect in the backseat of the police vehicle, the police cruiser. You know, something happens when you're in there and you start realizing like, oh my god, look what I went through or what am I doing? And then your emotions start getting the best of you and you start realizing that, you know what, I kind of effed up. I did something. I'm accountable for everything that's happening right now for the most part, right? It's like this moment where you see God and when you get to the sally port of the jail facility and you know they open up the doors and here's a deputy the officer next thing you know you're apologizing and you're complying etc etc. So, just thought I'd share that with you because something miracle happens when you're in the backseat handcuff of a police cruiser. Please, it's so hot. Can you just take me to where you need to go? So, it's AC. I got the AC on right now. You just put it on. It was on. I have it up higher now. No, it was off. Okay. It's very hot back here. I understand. I have the AC coming through. I can't breathe. I can't breathe in here. What's wrong? Okay. Thank you. I can't breathe. Okay. Well, there's going Okay. So, you're yelling, so that means uh not for long. So, why don't we get the [ __ ] out my house and get to where we need to go, [ __ ] Oh, that's unfriendly. I'm not I don't be friendly to you. Okay, that's fine. You do owe me decent treatment. Oh, you actually owe me what? I'm a taxpaying citizen. What they owe you is charges and a ride to jail? No, what you owe me is being a taxpaying servant. I would like for you to leave the window open so I can breathe. Okay. Delta Xray Tango 68. It is not fair. He gets to go back in the house. He hit me too. Now you want to be talkative without cursing at everyone, telling them that they suck and everything else cuz what what occurred today? Um today he um broke up with me. Okay, now we're getting He went to go mow the lawn, then he came back in. We did not get I I moved to the other room. So we have a spare bedroom. I moved all my things to the other room. So, we were just doing that for a while. So, I'm not really sure what happened. I did not hit him. I did not hurt him in any way. Okay. Did you prevent him from exiting the closet unintentionally? If I did unintentionally. So, you didn't put your hands up against the threshold of the doorway and prevent him? Put my hands up. Okay. I We have a very small doorway. So if I stood halfway between it, I did not like um kidnap him in any way in the closet. It's an interesting word. So did he try to leave the closet? Did you try Did he try to leave the closet and you prevent his way of When I saw that he was trying to leave, I let him go, which is why he's out. So he didn't have to force himself out of the closet? He did not have to force his way at all. Okay. I stepped aside. What else occurred? I guess that was a big deal. I did not hurt him in any way. I should even not be in handcuffs. Well, you did fight cops, so you should be in handcuffs. To my door. Uh-huh. Well, I have a right not to fight cops. You don't have that right. Not to have not to fight cops, but like you guys came at me saying that I'm guilty. No, that's not what they said. I already watched the video. That's not how that played out. So, okay. Okay. Well, I don't want to argue. Good cuz I'm not going to. Okay. I just want to be as straightforward as possible. And what happened? Yeah, I'm waiting for it. I'm still waiting for you to tell us how you're a victim in any way, shape, or form. Out the way. Uhhuh. Nobody blocked him in. If he has any marks on him, it's from my nails. I never hit him. But But nobody could like You're not able to scratch me now. Why? Because you're not swinging at me or trying to grab me or put hands on me. Cuz I can assure you I can get even even this close to him and his ar Oh, see how close I am? And I'm not scratching him. So there would have to be contact for that scratch to occur. Correct. Can I show you my how long my nails are? That's irrelevant. Your nails can be 10 feet long or 10 millimeters long. So you guys want to jail women for scratching men? I don't want to jail women. I want to jail any human being who causes any type of distress to another human being. I don't care about your gender. I don't know how you identify. I don't know your gender. So like somebody is like arrestable offense. Absolutely. It's called battery. So then I will also like to press charges for what? Um he has actually left on me. In fact, but not today. Not today. Okay. So when you get released from jail, you can you can call and report that. Okay. Okay. Any other questions about today then? Not right now. Okay. Great. I like it. Spoton Q&A volley between the deputy and the arresty, right? The suspect. The video doesn't depict whether or not she was mirandized, but I know in the state of Florida, the practice amongst a lot of these agencies is to Mirandise before we start getting into accusatory type of questions because the thinking is if you're in custody and I'm interrogating you, right, it equals Miranda. Custody plus interrogation equals Miranda warnings. Okay. Hey, uh Sophia, I just want to let you know that your license is getting ready to spend next month. Why? Uh, it looks like you're supposed to do some kind of school. Maybe like a the ticket. No, I paid my I paid my ticket. Yeah, I know. It looks like it says fail to complete court ordered school. I said I was going to do school and I never did the school, but I paid the ticket. So, your license get suspended if you don't do the school. Correct. If you don't complete if you don't if you don't do it, you guess what I did. I thought it was just a a ticket. Yeah. You pay the Well, I paid the ticket. If you tell the court you're going to do this, I'm sorry, I can't hear you. Yeah. Hold on. Talk about it. What? We'll talk about it when we get to the jail. Is it suspended right now? No, not yet. Yeah. So, how about we talk about how much he's hitting me? Do good boys protect each other? I don't know what you're saying. I'm saying that you guys all work together and protect each other. But you did kick me, so I think I was I kicked you. Yeah. If I did, I don't remember. Okay, you don't remember? It's okay. We'll show you on Body Worm video or you can watch uh this particular breakdown and you can make that judgment call all by yourself. Okay, wrap up. Final thoughts. Uh like always, first and foremost, a big shout out to Flaggler County Sheriff's Office. You know what? Those deputies spot on like always, right? I do say that because for the most part, right, as you can see, we are doing our job respectfully, professionally, and trying to keep in mind that, hey, we don't want to arrest you because we want to hear your side of the story. That's the biggest lesson of them all in this particular incident where when you door knock, we don't know if she's the PR, the person reporting, or the RP, the reporting party, or the victim or the suspect. We don't know that. So, we have to further investigate to determine that. Yeah, we do have enough facts to believe that you might be the suspect, but we want to hear your side of the story considering the totality of the circumstances. Okay, hope you learned something. Please be safe out there. Up next, cops respond to a shocking case where a wife is accused of killing her own husband. If I have to, I hate him. I want to kill him earlier. We see this car and he's on the floor. But that's over on my second channel where I'll be covering some of the most extreme incidents in policing history. Okay. She was placed under arrest and face the following charges: domestic battery, false imprisonment, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. As of now, there is no public information as to the outcome of these charges. Okay, you know the drill. Hit that like button, hit that notification bell, don't forget to subscribe.
