This entitled Instagram model tries to run over a man after he demands his money from her. Turn around. Perfect. I I guess I hit his car. See that? He smashed my phone on the floor. Yeah. And I also saw where you rammed his car twice. Cops respond after a woman claims a stranger stole and smashed her phone. But things quickly unravel when surveillance footage reveals a very different story. Take a look. Who called? What's going on? Um, this person went in my car and grabbed my phone, slammed my phone on the floor, and I tried to get behind him so he wouldn't take my phone cuz I don't know how to get back, and he just stole my phone. Who's the Who's the Camaro? Mine. So, you ran your car into it? No, I was trying to park. I was trying to like get behind him and he wasn't getting the car. He had his He has my phone in his hand. Yeah. Okay. Do me a favor, man. Okay. Turn around. Perfect. till we till we figure out what's going on. Okay. Who's That's your phone? Yeah. All right. Just leave it there for just a second. Okay. Hey, come over. Come here. Let's sit in my car real quick. Okay. I'm going to stop right here before we get her story. Uh, I kind of want to push the BS button. But, you know, the officer just straight up detained the possible suspect. He has possession of her phone. So, you got a possible theft. You got a possible uh what we used to call a TFV, theft from motor vehicle, right? Maybe assault. We're going to need that BS button a lot on this story. That's just my thinking. Let's see what what happened. I came I was about to get something from the store. Okay. He was parked next to me and he went Where were you parked initially? I was parked next to the to the Tahoe. Yes, I parked right there. I was about to get something from the store cuz I'm about to take my kids. They about he about to go to his friend's house. Um I parked there and he's saying he rec I go to this Spanish place. Um um he said he recognizes me and stuff. So he went inside my car and he's like, "Why you haven't been responding to my text messages?" Do you know this guy? No, I don't know him. I don't I have people that trying to talk to me. I have people. So you don't So you don't know him any more than you know me? No. Okay. And he goes inside my car. He was like, "Why you're inside it?" Yes. While I'm inside my car. So you're in the driver's seat. He just opens up the passenger door. Yes. He recognizes or I guess he recognizes thinks he recognizes you. Okay. Yeah. And he went inside my car. He was like, "Why you haven't been answering my calls and stuff?" And then I said, "I'm just I don't even like I just don't even know him like that." I was just like I'm just shocked. And then he um got mad and I was telling him to get out my car. He grabbed my phone and he was like, "Okay, since you don't recognize me." He threw my phone on the floor and then I said, "You can't take my phone." I tried to um park my car behind his truck. So he wouldn't cuz he was about to walk off. Y'all can look at the cameras and everything. He was about to walk off with my car with my phone. And as I'm trying to park, I I guess I hit him or whatever. Okay, stop right there. Hit him or whatever. What do you mean hit him or whatever? I I'd like to know. Which by the way, there's got to be some surveillance camera which is probably going to tell practically the whole story or at least 80 90% of the story because it's not making any sense. You know what? Ah, I want to push that BS button so bad. But let's see. And he he had things. So you hit him and he never moved his car. I was trying to park behind him. So he took your phone, went to walk off, and then what? You he was trying to like get in the car in his truck or whatever to take my He was just running off with my phone. And then you backed out and then backed into the car and then went for it in the car. Yeah. So I So he wouldn't go off with my phone cuz I don't know how to get home. I don't know how to do nothing. Just let my phone. I'm sorry. I'm still nervous. Okay. He didn't want to give me my phone and I just I tried to park. I hit his car, I guess. Or I I guess I hit his car. Okay. So you hit the car. So that damage on the back side of the car, that's old. Yeah, that's old. Okay. You have your ID? Can you get it for me, please? He says that he knows me from cuz sometimes I go to the Spanish clubs on the weekends and be a lot of Spanish people. No [ __ ] You don't know this guy? I don't know. I model and I have a lot of followers on Instagram and stuff. Um, so you've never been romantically involved with this guy? Nothing. Uh he said that uh that's her his friend. Uh and they actually came to this location to exchange some money that she owed him. It's about $1,000. Um he said he was inside of the car um talking with her about the money. Um, she refused to pay the money. So, we grabbed her phone and threw it on the ground and broke it in his way of of saying, "Okay, I broke your phone then and then you got to owe me the money." Okay. So, he admits that he broke the phone. Yeah. Okay. Ask him threw it on the ground. Threw it on the ground. Yeah. Ask him how the cars how that happened. Okay. Okay. Um, so he said when he uh he grabbed the phone, got out the car, he threw it on the ground. He was going to pick it up and give it back to her. And uh that's when she said, "Oh, you going to break my phone? Hit your car." That's how that happened. Okay. So he breaks the phone and then she pulls out and then just rams his car. So one of Okay. Uh, so he says, um, when he broke her phone, he was going to grab it and give it to her. That's when she said, "I'm going to hit your car." She ended up reversing. He moved to the side and then strike his car and said, "I'm calling police." She says she was calling police. He said he was calling police. So, she said he did call the police. They just wasn't understanding him on the phone. Well, I think initial when the chat com I think it went to Brook Haven because we're so close. So, okay, there you have it. He calls 911, which makes some sense, right? I mean, he's the PR person reporting RP reporting partying. He's also the victim to this crime. I mean, why would you want to call 911 and just tell on yourself like, "Hey, look, I committed this ADW. I committed this crime." It doesn't really make sense. I can tell you from experience, it's not often when you get a suspect, right, that actually calls 911, unless they posture and they think like they didn't do anything wrong. So, [ __ ] I got criminal damage on both parties. Yeah. Um, cuz he's breaking the phone. The phone's $1,200. She's ramming his car. Does she have meant to ram the car? Yeah, she said she hit the car. Yeah. Hopefully they're getting the video camera footage just so I can see the unbiased version of it because she's sitting here saying she don't even know this guy and then he just reached in the car just out of the blue took her phone and smashed it. I'm like so he's saying that he they were both in a car that they met at this location to exchange money. Okay. And it was $1,000. So okay I mean that sounds all right. So at any point in time was he sitting in your car? Yes. He was sitting in your car. Yeah. He came in my car. Okay. So he came in my car. Honesty is the best policy right now. Why were you and him here? He has my number. I have I give like the places, you know, how you meet somebody, whatever. He has my number. Okay. Okay. He told me to um he called me. I don't I don't know him like that. Like he told me you know him well enough that he was in your car. Okay. So, we can we can we'll move past that. I don't care how y'all know each other. I mean, okay. And uh Well, we do. We want to know why are you guys meeting up and how come he's claiming that you owe him $1,000? Inquirer minds want to know. Basically, he came here saying that he had gave me some money or something. Did he give you money? No, he didn't give me So, you didn't owe him money? He He's saying that he owed me money before and I was like, "No, I don't owe you money. You're sound crazy and stuff." And then he saying that um he was telling me, "Oh, I don't want no relationship with you." This and that. Just weird stuff like I don't want him. I don't know him like that. I don't even I just know him from the place that I go to. Okay. And then he said, "Okay, well since you don't want to be with me," he grabbed my phone and um threw my phone on the floor for me. So he said, "You owed him money. You said you didn't owe him money. Y'all had an argument about that." He grabs your phone, throws it down on the ground. No, I I told him I don't want to like I don't want to talk to him. Okay. Well, he's saying this is about money. You're saying this is about y'all having a sexual relationship. So, no, we that's Well, I'm not I'm not saying you're having a sexual relationship, but you're saying that's what he was implying. He's saying it was about money. You're saying it's because he wants to get with you. Correct. Yeah. He took my phone and threw it on the ground. He got out, threw it on the ground, and I tried to get my phone from him. Okay. And then while he was standing outside, no, he was about to do something like he was about to put his hands on me and I said, "You're not going to put your hands on me." And he grabbed my phone. Okay. And got out of the car and smashed it. Yeah. And then you drove your car into his car. Not drove it cuz I'm trying to stop him. This whole defense thing. Okay. Well, I can go and tell you uh your car hit his not purposely. Okay. Stop right there. Bam. Push that BS button because you're going to deal with those consequences for making that action to go ahead and hit his car. It's really that simple. You still hit the car. The car obviously was hit by your car. So, that that's the facts of the matter right now. So, we've established that y'all somewhat know each other well enough for him to get in your car and y'all were talking and I guess had an argument. He tried to take my phone. That's Yeah, I get that he tried to take your phone, but initially you weren't being very honest with me when you made it sound like this random you you made it sound like this random dude just walked up to your car and took your phone. He did just walk he got in my car. Yeah, but you said that you came here to meet him. Yeah, but I didn't expect for him to just He's crazy in his part for just to get in my car like that. Okay. Started arguing about Okay. He I don't know if he's on drugs or what. He grabbed my phone and and he slammed it on the floor. Okay. behind you. She's too aggressive. Okay. So, what do you guys got? Fantastic. You, sir, are amazing. $100. 32. I told you. Yep. Oh, and more or less. Yeah, that didn't happen anywhere she says she did. Okay, that's not just a assault. Here in the state of California, they call that ADW with a vehicle, right? assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle. And depending on the circumstances, it's what we call a wobbler. It could either be a felony or it could be a misdemeanor. Hit it twice. Damn. Okay. Well, that is not the story that we got. Oddly enough, it was not uh it's not the picture she Do me a favor. Can you step up, please? All right. Turn around for me. Okay. Did you do what I want to say with the Right. Well, see, there's this beautiful thing called surveillance video, right? And it and it paints a very different story than what you just told me. Did you see that? He smashed my phone on the floor. Yeah. And I also saw where you rammed his car twice and almost hit him. Actually, you actually you did hit him. No, cuz he trying to take my He's Well, you're making it seem like I'm That's the definition of being arrested. He went in my car. Okay, let's walk this way. Can you tell my mom? Can you give it to me? I'll give it to her. Can you call my mom? Keep that. Yeah, keep that. Which car do we want to put her in? Can we put them in yours? Is that fine? Can you go get my something? I'm saying you were arresting me for what? A assault and criminal damage. What is that? That's when you try to hit another person with a car. on self-defense. Ma'am, he wasn't a threat to you. He was outside the car. He was inside my car. He took my phone. Yeah, that doesn't mean you hit him with a car. I'm going to have to agree with Big Sarge there. The fact of the matter, which by the way, we could have asked also, hey, how long was he in your car? Like, how long was this conversation? Or was it just a couple of minutes and you were startled and he got out of your car and took your phone and smashed it, right? Very important question. But, uh, just to expand on what Big Sard said is yes, you could have caused more damage. I mean, imagine just a couple of more inches and you really could have seriously injured the man there, right? He tried to hit me inside my car. Please, I have two kids. Okay. Don't do this to me. That doesn't matter. You're going to jail right now for a assault. Why? Have a seat. Please. Please don't do this to me. It's It's a done deal. Please listen to me. Please. As a person, I'm not even talking. Ma'am, I don't even need to listen to you anymore because you've been lying to me. I have not been lying. Yes, you have. You haven't been honest with me and I've got video camera footage. I know what happened. He smashed your phone. Yes. But you also ran him over with a car and then hit his car twice. How am I supposed to Okay. How am I supposed to You're supposed to be a rational adult and not try to run somebody over. I was telling him I have anxiety and I have ADHD. Okay. I can't like that. That doesn't give you the right to act like an idiot. And you know what? Give me your thoughts about this. You know, I've been hearing this lately. I have anxiety. I have anxiety. It's almost as if someone does have or been diagnosed with anxiety. It's like an insult, right? or ADHD, right? Don't do that. It It's It's been happening a lot in a lot of videos. As if that excuse gives you justification for your actions. All right. Uh they're going to finish up with the cars. We're in route. All right. When we get to the jail, I just need you to get his telephone number for me and his address, please. His Hey, so I found what would give the appearances of a crack rock on her passenger driver's side floorboard. Um, it's got a real funky consistency to it. I tested that. Uh, it came back pink and blue. Um, so I'm gonna book that into evidence. Um, in Homeboy's car, so she has a Marriott key. Um, some dude from the cabo just showed up, said that he that she called him to come get her. Um, but in in in home boy's car, he's got box cutters and condoms and a bunch of phones and a bunch of hotel keys. So, that's going to be the other half 32. Yeah. Yeah. She's a 32 all the way. Yeah. So, so that would explain it. So, charge her with the the schedule two as well. That's up to you. I mean, well, if you're booking it in evidence, I'm going to charge it. Just uh if you can't take a picture of it and then just text me where you found it and then obviously text me the weight of it whenever you weigh it. Yeah. Yeah. I'll get it booked in. There was a crack rock found on your side of the car. Are you sure it's cracked? Yeah. My sergeant, my supervisor tested it. It tested positive for cocaine. Y'all had to put that in there. Why would we need to put that in there? We don't roll around with random We don't roll around random. You get paid more for that or what? Cuz I don't What the No, I don't get paid anymore for taking any more people to jail or putting any more charges on them. I get paid the same amount. Put Oh, hell crack in my car. Are y'all? So, but those are your three charges and he's got his one charge. That's what I'm saying. He could have put that in my car. He was in my car. But you were driving it. So, it's on the drive. It's on It's on the driver's side. He tried to act like he was about to hit me. He could have threw that right there. I don't Okay. Well, he could have fell off of him when he was trying when he was about to hit me and then took my phone. Oh, okay. Did he have some in his car? No. Let me search both of them. Crap. Yep. What the right here? Relax. Stand by. Chill out. Okay, let's go ahead and wrap that up. Final thoughts. Uh, like always, first and foremost, big shout out to Sambly PD, man. Big Sarge. Great job. Okay, from beginning to end, I want to say it was him who investigated and arrested the uh female suspect and arrested also the male suspect. But just know that when you get to a radio call, right, when you get a call for service, someone calls 911 and we arrive, right? There's always two sides of the story. But in this case, you actually have surveillance video that kind of tells the whole story, right? It paints a bigger bigger picture. The biggest lesson of them all is this. Look, take some accountability for your actions. I don't get it. You know, every time that you lied to the police, it's just going to get worse and worse and worse, right? If you would have been transparent, honest from the get- go, chances are you probably would have not gotten off because you did commit some criminal acts. As you can tell, that ADW, that assault with a deadly weapon, the vehicle being the deadly weapon, you can't go wrong. Just don't double down. Okay? I guess that's the biggest lesson of them all. If you owe people money, go ahead and pay, right? Be responsible. Okay? Hope you learned something. Be safe out there. Up next, I'm looking at a gunman that vanishes into a tunnel with a hostage. I'm doing police. You need to drop the gun and exit with your hands up and empty. You let her go, man. Stop. You're 40. But that's over on my second channel where I'll be covering some of the most critical incidents in policing history. Okay. She was hit with multiple charges including criminal damage to her property, aggravated assault, and possession of a schedule two control substance. Now, the man was also charged with secondderee criminal damage to property. Unfortunately, that's all the information we have available on all public sources. Okay, so you know the drill.
