She's trying to shove it in the ramp. >> It's Why are you coming? >> Stop. >> Stop. You're going to get a pit on the ground. You're going to get an assistant charge. >> It's wild how some people turn a 5-minute traffic stop into a night behind bars. All because they refuse to cooperate. Welcome to Police X10, where attitude meets authority. Let's take a look at today's cases of cops versus the dumbest cars who turn a simple traffic stop into jail time. Starting with this case, which I can only describe with one word, crappy. >> Get on the ground. Get on. >> Yeah, >> that's pretty. >> You live You live in town. >> It's March 3rd, 2024. Palm Beach, Florida. Cops conduct a traffic stop on this vehicle for running a stop sign. And here's what happened next. >> Hello. Oh, sorry. Sorry. So, the reason we stopped you was cuz you rolled through that stop sign back there in the plaza, just so you're aware. So, unfortunately, this vehicle hasn't been registered since 21. We I mean we're going to have to tow the vehicle right now >> because Yeah, because >> it's >> the vehicle's not been registered for a very long time. >> You have no proof of insurance. >> We can't just let you keep driving this vehicle all around. >> Well, we'll just leave the >> Okay. Well, we have we can't just let you keep driving around. We can't contact the owner. >> We'll just leave >> the vehicle. >> We'll make Jupiter and then he on us. >> It's not just that. It's that this this vehicle is not registered. It's not been registered for several years. >> I have to get a hold of him to to register it. >> It's Why? Why was it not registered before? >> I thought it was registered. I thought he did it. >> It's How long have you been driving his vehicle? >> 21. >> He registered it for me. Yeah. I I thought he kept up on it. >> It's It's not been registered since >> So, the woman's car isn't registered. That's fine. All she has to do is cooperate with the officer, get her car registered, and get it back the next day. But of course, it's not going to be that simple because she keeps begging the officer to overlook this. >> Unfortunately, we'll I'll just >> I mean, you can we'll leave right now. >> You can take whatever you want from the vehicle. >> No, no, we'll leave right now. We'll leave we'll leave this We'll leave the We'll leave the town. >> Okay. But it's not just about that. It's about >> This is the only car I have. This is like I live in this car like Okay. Please have compassion. >> I'll just if you can get the vehicle registered, >> you'll be able to pick it up from the toward. Show that it's registered. >> I don't have like Can we just leave? >> Can we just leave the Jupiter? >> Can we just leave Jupiter? >> I I carry all this stuff with me. She's your license. >> Is this your license? >> No, it's hers. But it's in my wallet. You just said >> I bet my wallet in my >> Okay, but you just said she has my license. >> No, in my wallet. >> Do you have a license? >> You don't have a license. >> The cop then asked her to step out of the car for further investigation. >> Step out of the vehicle for a second. >> We're just going to have you step out so we can talk to you out here. >> Can we just leave, please? >> Not right now. No, you cannot leave. Why? >> Because right now we're doing a traffic stop. You cannot leave until we've concluded with the traffic stop. Just you can use the bathroom when we're done here. Just if you can step out. >> I have to go like go. >> Okay. Well, we need to talk to you first. So, if you can step out of the vehicle. >> Are you going to arrest me >> right now? No. That's not the plan. Just step out of the vehicle. >> Here's the deal. You need to come out of the vehicle and we're going to speak to you at the back of the out back of the truck. That's it. Okay. We're going to figure out what's going on. But in the state of Florida, but listen, the state of Florida, we as officers have the right to order you out of the vehicle for our safety, your safety, and to in continue our investigation. There's some things going on here that we're trying to figure out. Okay? So, we need you to step out. >> Listen, we can turn this from a little thing to a real big thing. Okay? >> Thank you. >> To the bathroom, please. >> Uh, we you can do that in a second. Just step out right to the back here with her. Okay. All right. back here. Just come back here. >> Okay. So, you just said that that I have your driver's license. >> I heard you say it, >> right? >> So, I Are you aware that if you give a false name? So, >> I'm not giving I She She carried >> Who is this? >> Me? >> This is you? >> Yes. >> Okay. Why did she say that you had her license? >> I don't. We're half like >> if we get a fingerprint scanner and we and we scan your fingerprints, >> right? >> That's going to be you. >> Should be me. >> It should be. >> Yes. >> We get a fingerprint scanner out here and we take your fingerprints. That's going to be your driver's license. >> Yes. >> You're sure about that? >> Yes. >> Okay. As he prepares to get her fingerprint, she suddenly asks her sister to go to the bathroom with her, which clearly raises even more suspicion. >> Bathroom. Okay, let her call the traffic out and then she's going to search you. Okay. >> No, no. ID. >> It's not her first day. >> Why would you just tell her to go to the bathroom with you? What do you have? Do you have something on you? Be honest. Be 100% with it. >> It was >> Why would you just say, "Hey, come to the bathroom with me." >> She probably has to go, too. >> Well, she she's an adult. Is she going to talk? All right. >> Is it going to because you're going to take off running from us or something? Or are you going to >> you're going to destroy evidence of some sort of crime or something like that? >> What the >> Oh, we did. >> You consent to a search if you're a person. >> Okay. Come over here. This side of the vehicle. >> Do you consent to a search? >> Consent to a search. Yes or no? >> You can search me. I'm not going to hide here. >> Okay. You good? She good. >> Just slow down. Why can't you just I've already explained it to you. I'll explain it again. That vehicle has not been registered since 2020. Well, >> just leave and I'll I'll have it registered. >> That's not how you come home. We don't have any money to get it out. All of our stuff is in there. >> Okay. Well, then you should have ensured that the vehicle will register. >> No, not yet. When we conducted the investigation or I don't know. Just wait here. Can you help? Yeah, just stay here. >> They're just walking the dog. >> With that being done, the cops then explain to him that they're being detained. >> Can we just leave, please? >> Not right now. Now, >> here's the thing. You're we we're conducting a traffic stop. Okay. >> Right. >> That means you and your sister are detained until we finalize this traffic stop. Okay? All right. That's why you're you're you're not free to move around. Okay? We're going to restrict your movements. So now that you've gone, the dogs have gone, you guys are going to be restricted to this place. Do what we tell you and go where we tell you. All right? For your safety and ours. You understand? >> What are we waiting for? >> Who was trespassing the park over there? Both of you are. >> Oh, both of you were. >> Yeah. Was it at different times? >> No, they just trespassed her. >> Oh, she wasn't there, but I was there. >> Okay. You were there that first time? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And you're >> What's your first name? >> Heather. >> Heather. Okay. >> Can we put sleep? No. >> No. We're This truck cannot drive down to work. All right. And there's going to be citations and stuff. So, I'm just being transparent with you so you guys don't have to worry about what's going on. >> Can I actually go to the restroom, search me? I I have to >> Can you just wait a few minutes? >> I don't think she can wait. It's fine. >> I mean, you didn't have to go 5 minutes ago. >> Yeah, but I'll edit it out. >> I just woke up. That's in my car. >> All right. Do you have any weapons in the vehicle? No. >> There any drugs in the vehicle? Anything like that? No. This is my wife. >> Seeing how frantic she was, the cops suspected that she had something to hide and instructed her to get out of the car and deployed a K9 good boy to search for any suspicious signs. >> Okay. You mind if I search? >> No, I don't have any car. Like I said, I'm trying to go to my I'm trying to go down to my my mom's car. >> Well, I'll just have you shut off the vehicle and step off for me. >> No. Can Can I put all this back, please, sir? >> Just set it off to the side. >> Okay. Oh, fine. >> You'll see. >> You have the right to remain silent. >> That you have a right to remain silent sounds more like begging than informing. Also, was she stuffing a needle up her ass? How desperate was she? And despite her erratic behavior, the cop still gives her a chance not to make this even worse. >> Trying to help you out. Just be quiet. I don't want you to tell me why. Cuz you know why I was a nurse? I was a nurse 18 years on my 5ear sentence and then I have till October. I have till August 25th to go back and get my license. Okay, >> now stand still. >> I do. >> You have bags, Warhead? >> Um, I can get one. Oh yeah, >> it's it's not the lid's not off of it. >> It's bloody. >> So after taking the needle out, the cop continued searching her and they found even more of her so-called vitamins falling out of her pants. >> You got anything else on you? >> No, I was just trying to tell them about that needle. >> I don't know what she has on her. >> All right, I'm going to search you, but do you have anything else that's going to poke me? >> No, that might I thought I had maybe one more deal needle, but I think this is in my butt. That was it. Where do you think you might have one in this pocket? In your butt. >> My pocket. I thought you might still pocket. That was it. >> All right, Tabo. Okay. >> Okay. >> She needs to go to jail for this. >> Hold still. >> I didn't mean to resist, though. >> Those are my vitamins. You're fine. I just dropped it. Just >> Those are my pills. Those are my vitamins. >> Just hang for me. I got to put all your property in a bag. Okay. >> Okay. Those are vitamins. >> Stop, please. And I also need you. All my medications in those packs. >> Those are just all my vitamins packs. I promise you. >> You're fine. I just have to do my search, right? >> Yeah. I was just worried about those needles. That's what I was always worried about. >> Okay. All right. >> After searching her body, the cop then came to search her vehicle and belongings. >> Why I got You got gloves on. Can you look at her? Yeah. >> Please don't take me to jail, sir. I won't get my nursing license. >> The one on the hood. We didn't even We haven't even got that far. >> Please don't take me to jail. I've been good for 3 years. If you won't get my nursing license, >> what's your name? >> What's your last name? >> I won't get my nursing license back. Sorry. I've been good for 30 years. Every time I try to get it out there, >> you know what? She's got tweezers right here. There's something inside of there, but I can't get it out. See what I mean? >> Oh, little baggies. There might still be residue. There's residue of something. Oh, something's inside of that. Some residue. >> Okay. >> This is probably whatever she's shooting up cuz that needle had blood in it. >> Yeah. There's more little tubies in there. That's probably why cuz she was saying this was pills, but I'm like, why did you stick it in your pants then to hide it? >> That's it. >> There you go. >> All right. >> Looks like fentanyl. >> This is something. Otherwise, you would have been hiding it in case. >> Yeah. >> Want some orange heroin? No, fentanyl. It's fentanyl. It's just not super strong. And there wasn't very much on there. There was only a little bit of residue on the >> That's fentanyl. >> The officers then moved her to the squad car for further transportation. >> Um, >> no fentanyl. >> Go to the car over there. >> There's no folk. >> Walk with us. >> It's not fenol, sir. There's nothing in the car. >> Officer out as soon as it is. >> I promise you. >> In the end, she's charged with resisting without violence, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernelia, failure to stop for a red light, and speeding. Her bond is set at $3,000, which she later posted. In court, her citation for failure to stop for a red light and speeding was dismissed. She initially pled not guilty to the remaining charges, but later took a plea deal and amended her plea to no contest. She was found guilty and given 9 months in jail with 70 days suspended, 6 months suspension of her Florida driver's license and ordered to pay $1,72 in fines and costs. Let's move on to this case where a dumb girl thinks the cops are going to let her go if she just runs into her house. >> Where's your boyfriend? I don't have >> Where's he at? >> It's April 26th, 2025. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle when the driver suddenly stopped and ran into her home. She's going to have her own actions, but that's her problem. That's her fault. Not yours, not mine. The simple the simple request I had for her was you could use your phone to record. Feel free to record, but don't call anybody. >> And there's a reason. And there's a reason for that, right? I don't I just met you 5 minutes ago. >> I know. She thinking, "All right, I'm going to jail. She need to call my dad. That's who Card is." She probably thinking, "Pops, something's going on." That's probably why she was trying to call. All I seen from my aunt is her pull out the camera and you instantly grabbing her arm and hemmed her up. I need another pair of cups. >> He ran over the camera once asked for another pair of cups. It's all on camera. It's all body cam. >> I know for sure. which is fine. She wants to if she wants to record, I was cool with that. >> But at the end of the day, she's an adult. She's got to be responsible for action. If she was worried about something, how about, "All right, officer, I'll get out of the car. What is going on? Is he going to jail?" 100% I would have been like, "As of right now, no. You're just being detained until we finish the search." That's it. >> Yeah, you are being arrested for resist. You resist an officer that gave you a lawful command, which I don't know why you did that for. No, I didn't read my That's not how that worked. See, you guys watch too much television. >> In the end, the female is charged with resisting without violence. The male was issued citations for driving with an expired tag and driving without a license. Moving on to this case where a woman learns a hard lesson on cooperation. >> BECAUSE I'M TAKING I'M NOT RESISTING. You lying. Get out. >> I wasn't evening resisting. Y'all sitting up there lying. I wasn't even resisting. I told him, "Well, let me close my door." He stood in the way. [music] >> Welcome to May 29th, 2025. Cops conducted this traffic stop on a vehicle for a partially obscured tag and a seat belt violation. Let's check out what happens next. >> Hey, good morning. I'm Deputy McCoy, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. >> Well, maybe if you turn the radio down, you can hear me. >> What you said? >> I'm Deputy McCoy, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and I'm pulling you over for a couple reasons. For one, you didn't have your seat belt on when you pass me. >> Shoot the license plate cover you got in the bag. You can't have that. >> You have your license registration insurance. >> Well, I have it on when I pass you. You should have stopped then. >> That's what I'm doing right now. Miss, do you have your insurance on? >> Say it again. >> Is he going to let me find it? You making me late work. [laughter] >> Give me a minute. I'll be right back with your few tickets. >> As the cops processing her tickets, she decided to be all stupid and step out of the car without permission. When being told to get back in the car, she began spewing out profanities and arguing with the officers. A really bad choice on her part. >> Stay in the vehicle for me. Stay in the vehicle. Stay in the vehicle. Stay in the vehicle. >> Stay in the vehicle. >> No, you going to stay in the vehicle like I told you. Do you understand? You put that down. >> You better get in the vehicle. >> No. I don't care. Sit down. >> You got the right one today. >> I don't give a You got to write one today. How about How about Don't fight. DON'T DON'T FIGHT. You're under arrest. Get out of the car. DON'T RESIST. >> OH MY GOD. >> TURN AROUND. Turn around. Turn around. >> Close my door. >> Yeah. You don't hit me with the door. What's wrong with you? >> I did not hit you with the door. >> Oh my god. >> So silly for a seat belt ticket. >> I go to jail. I just let me call. >> Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. It's all good. >> I need to call my bro. >> No, you don't got to call nobody. >> Yes, I do. When we get to the jail, you call them. Don't worry about it. >> I open the store. >> Well, I should have thought about that, huh? >> Hey, come back over here. >> Yeah, it's crazy. Let me put on the front of my car. I got to search real quick. >> Relax. Relax. >> You don't run the show. Let me get the car. >> I don't want you. >> I don't care what you want. I don't want you. >> I'm going to listen. All I said was, "Let me close my door." >> Well, when I tell you to do something, you don't do it. That's becomes a problem >> because that's when I tell you. >> Okay. Yes. >> You don't dictate what goes on here. >> The officer then gave her a lesson about the law that she clearly needed. >> I'm going to have a seat right here. Turn around. Sit on the bumper. >> No. Sit on the cliff bumper. I'm not going to ask you again. Otherwise, you're going to go in my car. >> Y'all trying to take me to jail cuz I try to hold my door. How weird. >> You don't get to close the door on us. Okay? You don't dictate what goes on here. We do. It's a traffic stop. You are detained. You don't get to do whatever you want. When you get pulled over, all you have to do is give him your pegboard. >> I did. He threw it at me. The >> He threw it at me. >> Okay. Well, that doesn't mean you can just close the door on him while he's >> No, you pulled your door closed. And I told him while I was pulling, I'm told that's not how that works. >> It's not that deep. He gives me a ticket. He should have stopped me. It doesn't matter where he stops. He can pull you over in your [ __ ] way and write you a ticket there. It doesn't matter where he pulls you over at. He can pull you over 10 miles down the road. You committed a traffic violation. You are getting to that too. >> You toing my car. >> You to that car. There you go. Next time you listen. >> Oh my god. As she's sitting in the back of the car, she began to break down in tears. >> Nasty, bro. They nasty. They nasty. Oh my god. [ __ ] awful, bro. They tore my car, bro. For what? Foring what, bro? Ma'am, what are you doing? It's October 15th, 2024. Officers conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. But this case proves to be anything but routine. >> How you doing, man? Officer Rodriguez with the Orlando Police Department. Your vehicle? >> You got my license registry? >> Oh, I remember this guy.
