Dealing with cases involving drunks is never fun, but when drunks are behind the wheel, it gets serious fast. Officers are called after witnesses believe they have just seen an intoxicated woman crashing into another vehicle and driving away. It doesn't take long for the cops to track her down. And second, at times we offer an ambulance like it's an Uber, Lyft, or candy. Maybe she is under the influence. I don't know, but with that demeanor, this is going south quickly. >> Excuse me sir. I don't think they saw a crash is what the note saying. So, they were correct about their observation, but they if they didn't witness a crash then it kind of goes with what she's confirming. So, if there's no if the RP can confirm there wasn't a crash then I'm moving forward. RP didn't respond and he's going to try to call cuz he can't find the bumper. But the special said that when she entered the So, what I'm assuming is the RP just thought a crash happened because of her behavior. So, if there's no crash then I I can basically move forward cuz there's no crash investigation. So, we have We're trying to confirm with the witness, but What does the first note in the call say? Note she hit the curb parking lot and her bumper fell off. If you look at this it looks like she hit something here, but but look look watch. Is it wiping off? It's all coming off. It's all It's You can get fragments of it. Look. So, she probably did hit something, but she didn't lose her bumper there. So, we won't find the bumper. Okay, so Ta'e she was initially charged with DUI, resisting an officer, battery on a law enforcement officer, and DUI with a blood alcohol level over .15. According to the public records available, all of the charges appear to have been dropped or declined by prosecutors. The felony case tied to the arrest was later marked confidential by the court.
