On July 10th, 2025, West Chicago police responded to a business after receiving a 911 call reporting an armed employee during an escalating workplace. West Chicago looks like there's three people total inside. The caller female the gun and the male in the background. >> We're trying to get them to separate, but she's saying the female gun is chasing her. making verbal threats to shoot an employee in the head. >> Anyone responding? This is more of an HR situation. If I need to go in there 32, can you have a complaint come to the door? Come out. So I just go in and I draw down on them and get them to separate, put their hands in the air. I made the gun safe. And then I started getting the girl story. Basically, she's mad cuz [ __ ] has been getting paid. Got her. >> We just got to get stories and names from everybody. Um it's upset employee. She's saying that they start approaching her. Um telling she's telling him to stay back. Eventually, she draws a gun out of her purse cuz she's scared. >> Okay. Well, you're okay. [laughter] I know it's very scary. Okay. He stepped in and points it at him right at his head for me to go. >> Just pointed at the wife's chest. I mean, we got them on body cam, but we'll have to re just do an official sit down, whatever. So then I just made entry with the rifle and told everybody get their hands up and separate.
