I don't even know what happened. You left your sevenyear-old and your 16-month-old baby alone. >> Left him in a hotel room and then you want to get upset with us like this is our problem. >> Okay, we're not supposed to leave a three-year-old unattended alone in the car outside. Okay, >> you know, children shouldn't have to fend for themselves while their stupid parents are nowhere to be found. These horrible mothers left their kids alone for hours and the cops weren't about to simply look the other way. Welcome to Police X10, where attitude meets authority. Let's take a look at some wild cases in cops versus the dumbest, irresponsible mothers who left their children alone for hours. Starting off with this disgusting woman who left her kid in the car for way too long. >> The baby's been outside unattended for they said at least an hour, if not up to four hours, in the car. It's April 15th, 2025, and cops responded to a nursing facility on reports of a baby left alone in a vehicle. Here's what happened next. >> Do we have any idea of where this lady is? >> I took her out. She was crying. >> Okay. >> She wasn't even seat belted in, not in a base of the car seat or anything. >> Okay. Do we know where the driver is? >> I have no idea. >> Do they have to like sign in if people like visit her? I I'm one. >> Do you have anybody from >> They might have been in the laundry >> that might have a baby. >> Okay. >> That's me. >> That's you. >> Just assuming I didn't got body cameras on. How long you been in here? >> I just let my sister was just sitting out there. >> Nobody's sitting in the car with your baby. >> Let me just contact her. >> So, you're saying your sister is supposed to be out in the vehicle? Where did she go? That's what I'm trying to figure out. That's what I'm doing. Calling her ass now. But I'm not cussing at you. >> No, I understand. >> What's your sister's name? >> The baby's been out at least an hour because she was in here. >> That's why. Yeah. I didn't know what time her orientation started, but she was supposed to start at 8:30. >> Yeah. >> So, she possibly been in here since 8:30. >> She has. >> She got here a little late, but I mean, yeah, she's been here for a little bit. Is her sister in here? Maybe. >> No, she's not. >> Do you guys have cameras out there? >> No. >> The baby wasn't even in a base to that car. >> I see the base is on the ground in the car. It's like secured behind it, but it wasn't through the base. >> There was nothing. There's nothing that can go through here cuz it's a base. Just throw in. >> You said what? >> Said your baby wasn't strapped in. Not even on the base. You know, there's something that tells me this isn't the first time she left a baby unattended. And the thing about her sister is a lie. Maybe with the way she's holding the baby. I don't know. Let's keep watching. >> She's not answering. >> She's not answering. >> Call her ass like including my mom. My mom said >> Okay. What was she doing here with you? >> Who? No, I was filling out my um information. >> Okay. And she was just riding along with you. >> Okay. >> So, can I get her seat? No, you're just going to hang out in here for now. >> For what? >> You can sit. You can sit if you'd rather sit. >> No, I'm okay though. >> I just need to figure out what's going on. Why this baby was left in a vehicle unattended for who knows how long. >> No, cuz I literally y'all they got here. I literally just walked out. >> She's been here since 5. >> No, I said I literally just walked out just left. You can ask um saying that you >> I know what I'm saying. No, I'm saying that I literally just walked from from my car literally after we did a little um fit test. I literally just >> orientation showed up for orientation about 5. >> No, I'm saying I literally just went to my car when I just did the fit test after we got done doing the fit test and she was in there. Hello. And you know that you can see y'all can see the camera cuz I told you I was going outside. >> No, that's fine. I'm not giving them a timeline. >> Yeah, we're not doing this. We're not going back and forth. You can just go back in there and I will talk to you if I need to. >> Let him know what time you got. >> No, it's fine. I don't need this. >> Heard what you said. >> Okay. >> Knock it off. Hey, this is We're not doing this. Okay. >> You need to tell her that. >> No, I'm telling you. >> Come up here. >> Yeah, she definitely lied about her sister being there with her. And she even had the audacity to have an attitude with the one who literally saved her child. >> She's talking to her in her car seat right here. >> Yeah. You're going to have to give me a few. You're fine. I was in here filling out my woods and what'sane supposed to get in the car with the baby and she was like, "Can you come up here?" I just told you Liberty Village. If I had to guess, yeah, around 8 months or so, give or take, maybe slightly younger. The employees took her out of the car and took her inside. Mom just happened to show up when we got here. So, I mean, she wasn't doesn't appear in any distress. So, she was the base was on the seat, but it was not secured with the seat belt. The seat belt is buckled behind it, but not anywhere securing the base. And then the like the car seat was clipped into the base, but she was also not strapped in in the car seat. So neither the base was secured or she was not secured in the car seat. And then has been left out in the car unattended for at least an hour, possibly up to 4 hours. She's claiming her sister was supposed to be in the car with the baby, but the employees said there is no sister Pepper in the car. So yeah, she grabbed the baby from the employee and is just holding it. There's another officer in there and the employees there. She's we're not allowing her to leave with the baby right now. We don't feel comfortable until we figure out talk to you guys and figure out what the plan is. >> So, how long you So, how long have you been inside of this building unattended from your vehicle? >> Unended from our vehicle. 30 >> 30 minutes. >> I got here at 9:00, but we just took a break after we did the um we just took a break after we did the um the spit testing and I literally just went to my I'm not cursing. >> No, I get it. So, you've been in your car since 9:00 and then you came in here? No, I came in here at 9:00. >> Okay. >> And you know, we take take a little breaks. I fill out my orientation papers and I literally just went to my car. >> Okay. >> Just trying to get a hold of sister. >> Yeah. She's my mom. >> Where did she go? >> That's the I'm trying to figure out. She always want to get high. >> Is there weed in the car? Did she have weed? >> Oh. >> Huh? >> No, I don't have >> cuz they mentioned the car smells like weed. >> Yeah, I don't smoke. >> Yeah. Did your sister have stuff in there or smell? >> Not to my knowledge. I told her I have to go put out my orientation. >> Why are they saying the car smell like weed? >> You go smelly yourself, sir. I don't smoke. >> Y'all can test me everything. I don't smoke. >> So, does live with you or? >> No. >> No. Where does she live at? >> Oh, I don't know where she stay, but I asked her cuz she knows where I put out my application for my job and she told me. >> You said that's your sister, right? >> Yeah. together. >> So, yes, she's going to get arrested and we're not. So, Me and Taylor McY are like, we're furious and we're like, we're not sending this baby home with this lady. Okay. All right. I'll start medical and we'll get our way to the hospital. Then when they finally call me, I'll tell them to meet us there, but I'll give you I'll get her stuff and I'll send it. Can you respond medical here for a fourmonth old baby? Conscious breathing just needs to be checked out. >> The officer went to speak to more employees to find out more about what happened before making any decision. So, has she been in this building since 9:00? >> She went out one time and she said she was only out there for maybe a couple minutes. So, I'm assuming she check on her baby. >> Yeah, I was doing the orientation. She showed up about 5 or 10 after 9. She come in right after. And I'm not sure what time it was, but she asked to be excused cuz she said she had to go pump. >> As this officer is doing so, EMS arrives to check on the baby. You sure how the impulse is for? >> They just need to check out the baby cuz I don't know how long it's been in the car. >> She needs to go to the hospital. She's been in the car for a few hours. >> She has not. She has not. I just went out there and checked on her and my sister was in a car with >> What time did you go out there to check on her? Your sister was in the car. >> I literally when y'all just came, you remember with other officer just had a break and I had literally just went out there like >> As far as we know, it's been at least an hour. So, we just need to check the baby out. >> But nothing is wrong with her. >> I'm going to tell you now. We're taking protective custody of the baby for now till we can figure out what's going on. >> No, my mom is on her way. >> I don't care that your mom's on the way. You're an adult. >> Talk to me like that. >> Because you're not cooperating. I'm telling you how it's going to go now. Nope. I'm telling you how it's going to go now. They're going to evaluate the baby. The baby's being transported to the hospital >> for evaluation. Cuz you baby's been in the car for who knows how long. As far as we know, the baby's been in there since 9:00 a.m. this morning. >> It has not. I'm telling you. >> Okay. If my sibling was in the car and left the baby unattended, I'd be a whole lot more pissed off than you. >> I am. I'VE BEEN CALLING HER. What would answer you? After the baby's taken to the hospital, the cops are going to put her under arrest. >> All right. You're going to be under arrest. Okay. You're under arrest for endangering the health and life of a child. Okay. >> You got to be >> Do you have anything on you? It's going to stick coke cut or poke me. >> Trash in there. You good? >> Yeah. >> What we doing is taking you to jail. They'll fingerprint photograph you and then you'll be released on an NTA. >> What's going on with my baby? >> So, she's going to the ER right now and it sounds like she's being held in protective custody because we don't know how long she was in the car. Um, they're checking her over and make sure she's okay because the paramedics seem to think that she was a little warm with the temperature outside and >> but she was No, she she has a a and I'm not cussing at you. So, >> it's fine. But she has a cold already from us being outside this damn weather study constantly changing. You know what I'm saying? So that's not the reason why she's And once again, I'm not cussing at you. >> No, that's fine. They're just making >> Yeah, I get that. But you know what I'm saying? Don't don't make that be You know what I'm saying? Like she just so hot. >> I'm not saying that that's necessarily all that they're >> Yeah. Yeah. No, I'm just saying. >> Make sure that she's all good and good to go and there's nothing like no heat. But and I understand that. But she was not in thating car for noing how they trying to say it fouring hours. And once again, I'm not cussing at you. >> It's okay. >> I get it. You're frustrated and I understand. >> When I leave here, would I be able to get her? >> Get the baby. Yeah. >> I think the baby will be taken into protective custody by DCFS. >> Why is my mom up there? >> I can't answer those kind of questions cuz I >> I've been here the entire time. So, I don't know what's going on at the hospital. >> So, if I could answer those questions, I would 100% do it for you. But I don't know the answer. >> Yes. Okay. >> When the officer attempted to call the number the woman had been dialing, which she claimed belonged to her sister. Yeah. I went straight to the voicemail of a child. In the end, this woman is charged with child endangerment. Class. We move on to this case now where a shoplifting parent takes their baby along to go steal some Pokémon cards. >> Left him in a hotel room. And then you want to get upset with us like this is our problem that we created. No, no, no. We didn't create this problem. It's December 6th, 2024, and cops get to a hotel on a report that two babies had been left alone in the room for hours. What is going on here? >> Got called over here cuz they were crying. So, then he came and didn't want to leave them alone, so he went and grabbed took Oh, there he is. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> So, can you tell me what's going on? >> Yeah, we got called cuz your kids were by themselves. >> Uh, no, they weren't. >> Who was here then? >> My sister was just here. >> Okay. They were in here for the last 30 minutes when the worker came and checked. So that's why we're here. Baby was like grabbing at that he needs a diaper change, I think. [laughter] >> I've at least been here for 12 minutes and the person who called had been here for some time before calling. So >> this is ridiculous. Honestly. >> Okay. So you have to stay in the room now with me. I'm I'm waiting because you keep going out there and I need to make sure these kids are good because you weren't here for like 30 minutes or no one was here. An adult was not here for 30 minutes with them. >> They were both sleeping. My sister just came out and I went to the store >> for 30 minutes. >> My sister was here. >> Ma'am, I'm telling you, the person who called is someone who works here. >> Okay, I understand that. But they have to they want you to complete investigation >> cuz then they have to prove that I I was >> What's your first name? >> You need my first and last name. >> And what's a good phone number for you? >> 224. >> Okay. >> Okay. Well, this officer is in there watching your kids. We'll go in there and talk to them. Go inside and watch your children, please. >> Okay. >> This is >> Oh, what's with the attitude? The cops are there to help the kids you left alone for hours. She might be allergic to accountability. Also, again with the sister thing, she's definitely lying. Oh, and that man is the father. >> Who was the your what's your name that was watching them? How do you spell that? >> Can you see over here, ma'am? >> I'm I'm trying to hear what's going on. So, >> and a phone number. >> I don't have her phone number. I literally have a laptop. You see, >> how do you speak to her? I Facebook. >> Okay. Can I >> But I just gave you her name. I don't have a phone number. This is I don't even have a phone. This is all I have. I can show you that. >> So, what do you want me to do? >> Where does she What's her address? Hello. >> Hi there. All right. >> Hi guys. What's going on here? >> You got a good pointer, huh? >> They were left unattended. She says just 30 minutes, but it like 2 to 4 hours for just I got to find somebody who can talk to me on the side >> here. I'll I'll you guys can Yeah. >> Hi, boss. >> Mom is in here changing the other one. >> Is this a mistake? Like she just or something. >> You want to switch places? >> You want to go in there with the kids? Are they okay? >> Yeah, you come in. >> So crazy. >> Your iPad is in the bathroom. >> As the cops questioned about the situation, she insisted that she'd only been gone for half an hour and that she left her sister to watch the kids. They would also learn that DCFS had visited her once before. The officers then inform her of their next steps. >> So, we have to take the kids to the hospital. >> So, am I going with my kids? Well, we are taking them to the hospital so that they can get medically evaluated and then we're going to have to contact DCFS to see what they want to do from that point. I can't tell you what DCF >> So, you're telling me you're taking my kids away from me? >> They are going to the hospital to be checked out because the information that we've been provided is that they've been left there for several hours since before 2:00. So, we have an obligation to make sure that the kids are safe, medically cared for. >> That time frame, really any time frame with kids that age is unacceptable. But when we're talking 3 plus hours, that's that's a problem. So, we have to make sure that they're okay. They have to be examined by a medical professional. >> I don't feel that. >> Am I not given the right to go with my kids to the hospital? >> Well, that's one thing we're going to be kind of talking about at this point. Just one second. >> Say you call her on your uh laptop. >> Let them do their thing and you can get you can have your laptop and you can call, text, however you Deja, can you stay out here? >> Call your mom or call someone. They're trying to take our kids. >> They're going to take our kids. So, so again, let's not make this any more complicated than needs to be. The kids are going to the hospital to get checked out by a medical professional because our investigations reveal that they've been left here alone since 1:30 p.m., which is completely unacceptable. We have an obligation to make sure that the kids are in a good medical condition. And so, we are going to make sure that they're examined at a hospital and we're going to call DCFS for further direction. That's that's what it is. >> So, do we get our kids back after in the hospital? >> We're going to have to call DCF. DCFS is going to make that determination. We're going to have to call DCFS >> and I'm supposed to like trust that you guys are going to >> You can trust us. Believe me, we will do a good job of of making sure that your kids are cared for. Okay? And and again, you can't even come with him. I don't even have a cell phone. How you guys going to tell me what's going on on the updates with my daughter? >> We'll be with you. But one thing I will tell you is although you're upset and frustrated, cooperation is going to be very important to make sure that this is a smooth process. If you want if you want your kids back, then you need to cooperate. I'm going to try to reiterate what the officer was saying. All right. On behalf of the Elgen Fire Department, we have to make sure that the kids are well taken care of. I'm Captain Walzac with the with the department. You You've got my name. I can give you all the contact information you need. I believe one of the officers are going to be remaining. So, we're going to have ways. I understand your phone's not working. [clears throat] The city's going to provide you with an officer so that they can relay information. And >> so, you don't know like how long like [clears throat] >> we do. It's literally up to DCF because of the In other case, they might just take my daughter. >> Yeah, that sounds good. >> Wow. >> So, the cops put the parent under arrest for endangering children. However, this mother continues her streak of denial. >> Is going to make a determination on what we do. I'm not going to say that they're going to take the [clears throat] kids away from you. They may give the kids back to you tonight, but we have a process that we need to to go through. And it's imperative that you guys don't obstruct or make this any more difficult than it needs to be because again, we have to report to DCFS on what goes on. [laughter] >> Well, hold on. I just need to get my iPad contact unless you're cool enough. >> We have an officer coming up to follow them to the hospital. So, we should have an offic I have not >> You'll get a chance. >> Yeah, we'll take you. Come on out here with us in the hallway. >> Why does he need to go in the hallway? >> He needs to talk to these officers. Come on, please. >> We'll let you make a phone call. >> So, you're making this more complicated. corroborating is making you guys take my kids. No, don't [ __ ] us. Because in >> the hallway now in the hallway no I'm going on your back. >> I'm going I'm going for what? >> Put them on your back. >> For what? >> For what? >> Me? >> No. I had my sister here. >> She wasn't here. The video shows she wasn't here. >> Okay. >> You can't lie with the video. >> I don't give a You guys had to see everything. Okay. From beginning to see how many people enter these rooms. Okay. I did. >> I did. >> Okay. >> There was no Did you guys call them yet? >> We were calling them. We're dealing with you guys first. >> What? >> Police. They're taking me to jail >> for what? >> For me. >> No. Please, >> bro. No. That's >> Please. It is leaving your kids. >> No, you guys cannot do this. You came here. >> We were called here. We didn't come here because we just decided to stroll in here. We were called by the hotel because you made a bad decision to leave your kids home alone. That's what it was. >> That's not >> You can make excuses all you want, but the reality is is you committed a crime and we have an obligation to make sure that your kids are okay. If you think it's okay to leave your kids in a in a hotel room by themselves for 3 hours, if you think that that's okay, that's a rational thing in your head, then you have some serious problems because we have probable cause to believe that these kids were left unattended in a hotel room at age 2 and four, which is completely unacceptable under any circumstance. >> One and four. One and three. >> Sorry. One and three. Left them in a hotel room. And then you want to get upset with us like this is our problem that we created. No, no, no. We didn't create this problem. We are now forced to deal with it because you guys made a bad decision. And I'm not trying to talk down to you or belittle you. But there there is a point in time when we need to take some self responsibility for our actions. And this is unacceptable. And when unacceptable things happen and criminal law is broken, we have an obligation as the police to do what we need to do. We care about your kids. We want to make sure your kids are safe. Leaving kids alone for a 3 plus hour period is not acceptable. There are resources available to help you. You guys don't even have like this is crazy. So even when we're inside and out, right? I leave for 5 minutes. >> I'm asking I'm asking what is the consecutive time that I have to be. >> There is no set timeline. It's what's reason. >> So if I leave for 10 minutes and I go outside, smoke a blunt and I come back in. That's unacceptable. >> It depends on the circumstances. That's not the circumstances we're dealing with right now. The circumstances we're dealing with are that the kids were left alone for 3 plus hours. So that >> that's took my kids. So now how am I like this is crazy. So, someone's going to stay with me the whole night and make sure they're going to tell me every day with my daughter. >> That's not the plan. >> So, what's the plan? >> We're going to be with you so that if you have questions about what what's going on, we're going to share that. >> What's the plan? >> The plan is you're going to be going down to the police station with us to address. >> They said that we left. >> Yes. So, they took both the babies away from us and took them to the hospital right now. And now they're trying to charge me and dealing with child endangerment. >> What is the process from here? I'm going to be >> taken to the police station, booked and processed, and then we'll go from there. >> The officers moved her to the squad car to transport her to the station. >> So, you guys witnessed my door lock, right? And you have it on camera like that my kids stuff is safe. >> Yeah. I mean, it's locked in there, >> of course, but you guys were already in the room. So, I just want to make sure that no one else can get in and take any of my children's or my >> can get in. >> So, the charge that I'm being arrested for is child endangerment and their father's being charged with the same thing. >> Yes. >> Even though it's my hotel room and I stay there. >> You both are the parents, aren't you? >> When you run my name, are you able to see like if I've been charged with anything? >> Yep. It's over here. >> So, can you inform me of what I've been charged with besides today? >> No. >> The police officer can put a charge on you, right? But it has to be the judge is the one that makes the ultimate determination, right? Jury or judge. I think I'm learning something. I didn't know that. I just I've normally had judges every court case I had. So, and to think I wanted to join Kevin. This [ __ ] is crazy, man. This is crazy in this. Better to join them cuz you can't beat them in this. >> Both parents are charged with two counts of child endangerment. We move on to this case now where a mother left her child alone in a stranger's home. >> She came back out saying that her mom is not here and she's home by herself and she's scared. >> Did you say your sister? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And she lives with you? >> Yeah. Me and my daughter sleep at her house. >> I didn't even know that she was here. >> Here in general cuz you know whose house this is? >> No. On August 25th, 2024, cops get to a residence after a woman had left her kid inside the house for hours. Here we go again. >> Outside with my mother-in-law standing over there where the light is out of the house. This little girl comes outside and she's looking for her mom. She's crying. At first, I thought that something was wrong with her mom. But she went back in the house. So, I figured, oh, the mom is home. >> She came back out saying that her mom is not here. She's home by herself and she's scared. Her mom told her to stay in the house. she'll be right back. And she was scared. So now >> I don't know what to do. I didn't want to just like I don't know who she is. I I know how things are these days with kids and >> Mhm. >> So I I we call just to make sure that everything's okay. >> Okay. Hello. >> How are you? >> Good. >> Good. Are you home alone? >> Yeah, it's okay. We're here. What house do you live at? >> Just show me. Just point. Which one? That one. Yeah. >> You're in which grade? >> I'm going I'm going to first grade and I'm at >> Look. Okay. >> That's our house. >> That's your house. >> Two police cars. >> Yeah, I know, right? >> And they're very tall. >> I know. Here, I want you to stay here with her real quick. She wants >> I'm going to go with them. >> Oh, okay. Yeah, you go. You do that. >> Play with this for a little. >> Sure. >> My mom has her mom's number. >> Okay. Yeah. Don't I'm not trying to call her right this second yet. >> Okay. But you want me to get you the number? I will in just I'll in just a minute. >> My mom lives down there. >> I'm just give her mom's always taking off. >> Okay. >> This is so like my heart is racing. I'm so sad. >> How long is mom normally gone? >> She'll sit in her car for hours. Her mom's dying of cancer. >> Her mom's dying cancer. >> She sits in the car for hours, but most of the time the baby's with her, but a lot of times she's >> with the mother nowhere to be seen, the cops had to go find her. And they did soon after. >> Hello. Your mom? >> Yes. >> Oh, okay. What was your first name? >> Kisha. >> Kisha. Okay. >> Yeah. You She's home alone? >> Um, no. That's my sister's house. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Where's her Where is mom at then? >> I'm Mom, but my sister That's my sister's house. >> Is Is sister there? >> She was supposed to be there. Where is she at? >> Did she Was she there when you left? Yes. >> Why are you parked over here? >> Because this is my friend's house right here. >> Do you know the address number? >> What's your address? >> Here, can we can you step out and have a quick convers trying to figure out what's going on here? >> Address. >> Apparently Nicole had left. No. So the police was out here. >> Who's Nicole? Your You say your sister? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And she lives with you? >> Yeah. Me and my daughter sleep at her house. >> Dude, when was the last time you spoke to Nicole? >> About two hours ago before I left basically. Like sometimes we sleep at her house. >> You said your daughter originally stays in Northport. >> She originally stays in Northport because I was incarcerated basically. So she was staying at her dad's mother's house. Oh, >> okay. >> My sister moved in here. Since then, like I've been deciding like it's best for us to sleep together, but I stepped out. So, my sister's not here. >> So, your sister's not here >> apparently. >> All right. >> You said my daughter is alone. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Who's on the phone right now? >> My friend that live right here? >> Yeah. What's um Let me grab a pad of paper. I'm going to grab Nicole's number real quick if that's all right. All right. >> The cop then contacted the sister to ask about the situation. Hi, is this Nicole? >> Who is this? >> This is Deputy Chandler, Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. I was hoping to just speak with you. Um, are you at home at Northport or the um Centennial area? >> No. >> No. Where are you currently at if you don't mind me asking you? >> I don't live in Northport. >> No, no, no. Centennial is in Port Charlotte, ma'am. >> I don't live over there either. >> Oh, what's your Okay. Um, we're just trying to figure out um there was like some miscommunication with your sister or something like that. Where what's your current address then? If you don't mind asking, >> can you tell me what this call is about? I'm sorry. >> It's about Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. I guess someone was It's someone was supposed to like set up plans to watch uh the your niece. So, that's all we're trying to figure out. So, I just want to make sure I got to speak to the right the right person. >> Is she okay? >> Yeah. Yeah. No, everything's okay. We're just following up as all. No, she's she's perfectly fine. >> I live at >> Okay, perfect. All right. That lady right there. Yeah. So, where are you at? I wouldn't. I said, "What are you doing?" Just I'm sleeping. Were you supposed to watch me? Oh, so that's a bunch of She gave me a completely different address. I guarantee she doesn't even know those people in this apartment. Whatever. She [ __ ] texting her sister and like, "Hey, don't talk to the cops or whatever." >> Yo, so let me get this straight. She left the kids alone in a stranger's house. What kind of mother is this? >> All right. Um, so I'm just going to get a quick statement just so we have everything cuz every time we get called something, we have to document it. what uh what happened and just so we can I have something to say what what took place and how this ended up being the way it is. Okay. Um I I do have to ask first question. Are you none of us are drugs or alcohol, right? Okay. Do you know the meaning of perjury? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Perjury is committing lies, false information, um leaving out truth, half-truth, anything like that. It's just a crime in the state of Florida. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Having that said, would you raise your right hand? Uh you swear a firm statement you're about to give is the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. Okay. Um, just kind of take me through what you were telling me earlier about the whole situation with your daughter and like how that all >> basically I left at about 9:00. This my sister's house. It's just been a lot of family issues. >> Okay. >> So, basically I left for a few hours to go do a couple things and you guys approached me saying that am I Kevin? Um, yes, I'm Kevin. Um, >> saying that she's by herself. I had no knowledge that she's by herself. So basically, my daughter is by herself. You guys won't let me go over there where she's at. Nothing like that. And I'm very angry right now. >> No, I I No, I get that. Uh we just had to again we she's she's over there with a deputy. We just have to get a couple things from you or whatnot. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And that's your sister's address, >> correct? >> And how long she lived there for? >> Almost a year. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Almost a year. All right. And what kind of car does Nicole drive? >> A Honda. >> It was here >> when you left. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Nice. >> I can't sleep at her daughter's at her dad's father's house. They won't allow me to. So therefore, I only have my sister. I don't know what the she's doing. I'm pissed the off right now. >> That's all I can tell you. >> I got you. And what was said cuz you told me earlier that you spoke with her. What did you guys What did you guys talk about? >> I told her I was leaving for a second. I'll be back. That's it. >> And what did she say? >> Okay. >> She said, "Okay." >> Yeah. >> All right. Just give me one second. I'll be right back with you and then we'll see about the whole letting you see her and all that. Okay. >> I need to drive over there. >> I got you. >> Like this is my daughter. >> Yeah. Know I got you. Just Just hang tight real quick and then we'll uh we'll work on that. >> Oh, she can't stop lying, huh? Also, she sounds kind of drunk to you, right? I think she's drunk. >> Where are you right now? I'm at my house. Where's your house? And I'm like, "Okay, how long you been there?" She's like, "Yeah, I was asleep. Why is everything okay? What's going on my niece?" I'm like, "Well, um, I guess there's a misunderstanding of who's supposed to be watching right now." And I said, "Just make sure you don't live over here, right?" And you made no like you're not agreed to. >> Did she say that they live over here? >> No, she says that she lives somewhere else. >> Okay. >> Like you're, you know, that's basically like, "So, you don't live here." Nothing like that. No, you weren't supposed to wash your mouth. No. No. And I already got her on a statement saying that she spoke to Nicole who I just talked to on the phone and said, "Yeah, she Nicole was here and she said, "Yeah, I I told her I was going out." >> But that's a lie. >> Yeah. >> After a while, her sister arrived at the scene. >> You swear affirming you're about to give us the whole truth. The truth? Nothing but the truth? >> I didn't. >> Okay. Were you asked to watch your niece? >> This is weird because me and my sister, we get into it almost every year. I cut her off and locked her again. >> You did? For the past couple of weeks, she's been blocked. >> Okay. >> So, when you called me saying that I was supposed to be watching her, I was confused. And you were like, "Miscommunication." I'm like, "There's been no communication." >> Ah, okay. No communication. Okay. >> I didn't even know that she was here. >> Here in general, cuz you >> know whose house this is? >> No, that's why I've been here before. I visited when they were over here cuz she used to cook. My sister cooks and sells food. >> Oh, okay. She uses it, but usually she rents like Airbnbs, so I always go to different houses with her while she cooks. >> Okay. >> So, you have never lived here? No. >> You've never stayed the night here? >> No. >> Did you haven't spoken to your sister at all? >> No, but she texted me when we were off the phone and said, "If the cops call you, don't answer." >> She said what now? >> Off of a fake number. >> Oh. >> She texted me and said, "If the cops call >> Would you mind if I took a look? I don't want to get in your business, but I appreciate Yeah. >> Okay. Is this grandma? >> I think so. Yep. >> You can tell me to to get house. >> Ma'am, do you know who normally who lives here? >> Is that she is Haitian? She can >> She called me to go to Nicole to get >> Oh, your she your sister called her to come get >> Yeah. I just got here. He called me here. >> Yeah. Does she normally stay with you? Normally stay with >> Always. Always. >> Always. Okay. Grandma. >> Hey, >> Grandma. I'm just here by myself. >> Okay, I'm here. Come. I'm coming. Me, too. >> All right. Um, we just got to >> You're not going to school tomorrow. >> You see my mom is here or not? >> I'm alone. >> We got to Everybody's just got to hang out. We just got to figure out what the miscommunication was. Apparently, she was left here alone. >> Grandma. >> Um, so we got to figure out what's going on with that. >> What is it? >> It's a centipede. Oh my god. >> It's one of those that that has all the legs and it rolls into a little ball. >> It's licking up. It's >> Yeah, it is now. >> Let me see. Let me Let me see. >> No, no, no, no, no. Don't. I I I'll kill them. >> No, no. >> What? Take your jump. >> No, you're going to bite you. This one is not good to to to play. >> That's not spider. >> I know. >> And you're ridiculous. Terry ear. Come, come, come with me. >> Yeah, that's crazy. >> Grandma will be taking the >> That's a lie. >> Child to her house, not to the other house where the previous investigation was. So that the the child's not going to be with the possible suspect from the other case. >> That's a lie. >> You know, coming from your >> Everybody Everybody's lying. Everybody in the whole world's lying except for her. She's the only one being honest. This girl, >> she's talking to somebody. She's She's Everybody else is lying. I'm serious. >> Dude, you hear the Listen the phone call. >> I don't care right now. >> Okay. >> Can we just put handcuffs on her and get her out here? >> What I'll do, I'll go over there. I'll scooch out. >> Black dress girl. >> We'll slap cuffs on her. >> Okay, cool. >> With everything finished, the cops then began to put the mother under arrest. >> Stop playing your damn self on the mother phone. All you do is lie. mama. I call the mama simple. >> I'm sorry Robert. >> And you live around here? >> I live right here. >> All right. Now, do you ever babysit the baby or stuff like that? >> Um I used to be her teacher back in the day. >> Okay. >> Um back in daycare and um I've known her for a while. >> Okay. >> Why delusional? >> I just got to take care of something real. Do you mind? I know you got phone call, but we got to >> Yeah, I'm on the phone with my daughter's grandma. >> Okay. They're already over there, so we got to put the phone down. >> All right. What's up? >> All right. And I just need you to put your hands behind your back. Going to jail for child neglect. So, go ahead and set the phone down. >> When you tried to contact your sister, she couldn't get through because she was blocked. But we got the number that you tried to send her in. So, just F. >> I took a picture of it. >> She don't got me blocked. >> Okay. Well, we got the text message of her you telling her not to talk to us. So, I just want to let you know. >> What? Can I get a sip of my drink? Make a phone call first. >> Nope. >> No. You got to make a phone call to jail. We're not call No. No, not to jail. Who's going to go down here? >> So what y'all doing with my daughter? >> She's going to go with a family member. >> Yeah, her grandma, right? >> Yeah. But we that's all going to be verified and okayed by DCF. So we're she's staying with us until DCF approves all this. >> Yeah, definitely didn't see you. >> I just got here. Do you have anything on you? >> No, just the money. >> Okay. Other than that, >> no. >> Nothing. Okay. >> I'm on probation. I am going to jail. >> Okay. >> My daughter is with her grandma. Correct. >> Yeah. >> I I I double check that to make sure, you know. Thanks. You're welcome. >> So, you have no property other than the the money, right? All the other property you gave to your friend. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> This mother is also charged with child neglect. And now we move on to this case where an irresponsible mother left her child alone in a car while she worked out at the gym. >> What is going on? What is going on? Can you tell me why you're arrested? >> You left your child uh neglected. >> Okay. Okay, we're not supposed to leave a three-year-old unattended alone in a car outside. >> It's March 21st, 2026. Sadly, in Florida, cops get to a gym after a caller reported saying a three-year-old child left alone inside a running car. Let's check out mom of the year. >> I just told you that. >> You're on speaker. I went inside to use the restroom and I came out. >> Sweetwater 104. >> Here it is. Okay, >> hold on. I can't. He hung up on me. >> I need a driver's license. Driver's license. 234 107 Avenue 4 Street. >> We'll do it your way. The reason why I'm pulling you over is because you were being you were seen leaving, right? The the child in attendant. I catch you here and I I catch you walking out. You even told me that you went to go take the restroom and you left your child by yourself in the car. >> Yes, sir. I called him multiple times. I don't think they allow children. I call differently. >> That's not a good excuse to leave your child unattended in the car. I >> Well, I'm glad you understand now. You >> said I got it. >> I said I'm glad you understand now. >> Okay. So So you don't want to provide your ID anymore, right? >> Oh, it's not that I I I've worked for Progressive. I give you what I have. I've been pulled over before. If I had a physical ID, I would have given >> 1114 say that I'm not abiding by the law. You >> have the driver's ID >> physical ID. >> You have the ID. >> What I what I >> You want to show the ID or not? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, show it. >> Show there are any issues. This is not my >> No, we have an issue. There is an issue. There is an issue. >> I I understand. That's why I'm trying to contact >> Who does the car belong to? >> Her parents [crying] that you heard of the >> Okay. So, who are you to her? >> We're both her parents. >> Okay. >> Yeah. After listening to enough of her excuses, the cops immediately put her under arrest. >> All right, ma'am. You put the phone down. >> I believe they're arresting me. >> Yeah, you're being arrested. >> Started with my child. >> Okay. >> Okay. Can I just send you the address to the gym? I need you to come back and pick her up, please. >> Okay. Ma'am, you're going to Let's not do this in front of the child. Okay. >> I'm sorry. I'm I'm sorry. What is going on? What is going on? Can you tell me why you're arresting? >> You left your child on uh neglected your child? Yes, you did. >> Can you check the cameras, Dylan? They're arresting you. They said I left her un I left her neglected. They're taking your car. They're taking me and my baby right now. >> But but you guys are arresting me for neglect. Can you check the cameras? I was not in there for a while. My baby is crying. Can I at least tell her it's okay? Sir, I've been complying with you. Can I at least tell my child? Tell her it's okay. But you need to stay calm. Calmly. >> But why? How can I be calm? She's crying. >> Tell her it's okay. >> I've never done anything. >> Are you going to tell her or you're not going to tell her? >> Okay. Can I Can I touch my child? >> You going to tell her? You're not going to tell her? >> Yes, sir. >> Baby, everything. >> All right. Have him come over. Let's go. >> Sir, can you please explain why this is child neglect? Sir, >> I'm asking. >> You're not supposed to leave your child alone. How old is your child? >> Okay. We're not supposed to leave a 3-year-old unattended alone in a car outside. Okay. >> I'm being cooperative. I understand. >> I'm asking you, can you check the cameras? I was not in the restroom. >> I'm not resisting arrest. I'm just asking you to please not. >> Just allow for her father to at least arrest. >> We'll we'll release her to her to your to her dad. Okay. >> I am asking you in I know you don't care and this is not a soft story, but that's what I did was use the restroom. Sir, I'm not a bad person. >> You can ask the the the the the workers at the gym. >> Yeah. Take a seat. You go show me the 25. >> Take a seat. >> Now to confirm her bathroom story. >> Hi. >> Do you guys have access to the cameras? >> The general manager does, but he's not here right now. >> General manager is not here. And do you know if your cameras are just inside or you have it like >> We have outside as well. >> Okay. >> Do you remember seeing a a lady come here to use the restroom? >> She was like uh dress like a black hoodie, black leggings. Maybe she's just maybe like 10 minutes ago she walked out. >> Do you know if she's a member by any chance? >> What is it? >> Do you know if she's a member by any chance? >> I don't know if she's a member. Did anybody say I'm going to use the restroom real quick or >> Yeah. >> Look, she was like a darker skinned uh lady like 10 minutes ago, more or less. >> Yeah. Well, it was a while back, actually. It was a long time. I never saw her. >> No, no. I have her. She's with me. >> Okay. >> What I'm trying to find out cuz she left her three-year-old in the car. >> So, I'm trying to find out how long she was gone. >> I could tell you it was definitely like at least an hour ago that I let her into his bathroom. >> Was she a member of you? >> Yeah, she was. >> Cuz she had already checked in, but I had gotten back from whatever I was doing. >> Do you know her name? >> I'll get it now. I'll get it now. Are you the general manager here or >> Oh, perfect. >> Yeah, that's why I >> actually So, I need the access to the cameras. I'm trying to figure out. So, this there was a young lady here >> who was driving this car. She came in here. She said to use the restroom, >> but she left her three-year-old in the car. >> Camera I got. So, she's like a darker skin. I have her. She's in my car. I'm just trying to figure out how long was the time frame. >> I have that camera is this one right here. But I can't was the best service I got. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to try to get the name >> and then see maybe I don't know if she's a member here. >> All right. So, I ran it. It's cure you. It comes back to the the baby daddy and he has a valid driver's license on his way here. He's coming from Rick. >> Do me a favor. >> See if you get the phone is on my uh hoodie. >> Unlock it real quick >> and see if she'll give you >> information on her. >> Yeah, because she's being very like hesitant with me. >> Oh, so now there's a possibility she wasn't just going to the bathroom, but she was working out in that gym while her baby is sitting in the car. Man, if that's true, CPS needs to be involved. >> So, I'm just going to get the name and try to make it make it easier. >> Yeah, you want cuz I don't know when she got there. Um, >> yeah, probably the camera is probably her going into like the lobby area. Maybe better. >> It depends. Like if they're asking for a bathroom real quick, but let me ask the front real fast. You want to see what she look like? >> She's like a darker skin. She's short, like 5'4. >> She just asked to go to the bathroom. >> She one of your employees was like, "Yeah, there was a girl that fit the description." She she said she she did that but it was like an hour ago. >> Might have showered or something in there too from her bag. >> Got it. >> Looks like she might have gone in with a bag and showered. >> Got you. Let me see if I can find a tent when she came in and kind of go back. >> Yeah. Like >> smells like 52 of the yag. >> Okay. >> Okay. Ma'am, >> I need you to do me a favor. Okay. >> I want to want to get to the bottom of this. Okay. I need you to help me out. I'm trying to get your I got your baby daddy on the way to pick up the baby. Okay. >> She's okay. He's going to be able to take the vehicle and all that stuff. Now, when it comes to you, we need to find out who you are and get your information. Okay? I need you to help me with that. Okay? This is not not forget about what it's about. Now, we got to make sure we get everything right for the child and the dad. You're where you're at, but we need to have your information still. Okay? So, I need you to help me with that. Okay? Can you help me with that, please? >> I can, sir. And now I really truly feel like I'm being targeted in Hawaii because I provided that information. >> So I don't understand why making an assumption that I didn't have social security. >> I provided a a photo copy of my identification to the previous officer. >> Okay. And you were here at the gym. >> Yes, sir. >> You were working out? >> I went to the restroom and I went to to shower and and I did a light workout. In between sets, I came out to the car. I changed her diaper. My phone died. I plugged it up. I stayed in the car for 5 minutes, charged it, made sure it was on, put on Sprunkies. I gave it back. I wrapped up and I came out. I live in my in my child's father. That's not I don't I don't have a baby dad. >> So, she did go to work out. Well, I guess looking good's more important than your child, right? You know what? It's okay. She'll have plenty of time for those muscles to heal from her workout in jail without her child inconveniencing her. >> Give me a second. Okay. So, just to verify, you were you went to use the restroom. You know, that's what you were doing. You were using the restroom. You went to go take a shower and then between sets, you did a light workout. You said you went you were coming out and you were taking care of your child >> multiple times. >> Okay. All right. >> If the car is on, I don't even have the key on my car. >> But, but here's the thing, though. You're How do you leave a three-year-old child by unattended regardless if it's on or not? >> That's an unattended child. >> You understand? >> Oh. She was taking a shower. >> In and out of workout, she was coming out. >> Do me a favor. Move my car up so they can get me. >> This is my assistant. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I checked her in. >> You checked her in? >> Yes, she has a membership. >> Can you tell me what time that was? >> I need the phone number so I can look her up and then I can see the check. >> Her phone number. Hey, get the the O2 from her. >> You have her name or phone number? >> I have her name. >> All right, bro. We can look her up. >> Okay, never mind. Never mind. So, I got this call cuz somebody came up to me, told me yesterday they saw the same car, same people, and they the the guy got the member got concerned. And he's like, "Oh, I saw the kid by themselves in the car." So he goes, "I come out of the gym and I see it again." So that's why he saw me and he be >> here for a while then cuz I took a while check. Okay. And then when they leave, let's say she goes in to check them. Does she have to come back and clock in or you guys just wave them in cuz you already saw them already. >> They're meant to check in usually. >> She checked in one time only. Today >> she only checked in one time. >> 102. Okay. >> Okay. Can you can you find video from that that window from 102? She's saying that she's taking a shower or I'm sorry. She said she came in just to do a restroom. Now she's telling one of my one of my partners that she came in, she did a workout, she worked out legs. So, if you have video of that, that would be helpful. You have it working out. >> I I can get it looking. >> Yeah. >> Then you probably just check things. >> If you find that, let me know, bro. >> Yeah. Yeah. I can find that. >> Or even if she stays in the bathroom on the lock. Look, then she walks straight to the bathroom right there. >> You spotted her. Okay. >> Going in the bathroom right there. >> So, she comes out. >> She took a whole shower in there. Then she had like a bath. >> She had a bath. She looks like she took a shower probably. >> Yeah. cuz it's already 2 minutes in. I mean, let's just get dressed. But >> what time is it now? >> 10:03. 10:04. >> Oh, so it's 3 minutes later. >> Yeah. >> Hey, Dad is going to come pick up the car and the kid. I think the car is under his name. >> Probably either took a shower or it did work out also. >> Hey, either one. If you could find her again, >> that would be great. >> In and out. The kids did coming in and they're going out. Those are key. >> Let's make sure that dad brings a a seat. >> A car seat. There's still >> there's no car seat in the back. >> When I I did the phone call that had like another person, they when I asked how long the car had been lost, they didn't mention the kid. They just said the Was that a Honda? >> Honda. Yeah. >> White Honda car told me the car. They had It had been there the entire haircut that they had done. Like they got came in, saw the car, when they went out to leave, they saw the car on the call. They didn't mention it cuz Yeah. >> What time was that called? You know, more or less. >> You can find it. >> You can find it. Yeah, >> cuz it was on that one. >> 50 p.m. >> What time? >> After a while, the father arrived at the scene to take the baby. >> Just so you know, I'm explaining to you what's going on. She is she's going to jail, but child knew like, okay, at some point in time, she came in here. She got the baby unattended. How like how long? >> So, she came in at 1:00 p.m. and she didn't come out till close to 2:00. Okay. She says that she did come out sometime during that time because she worked out for 20 minutes. During that workout, she said she did come out and change the diaper of the baby. I don't not sure if we have that on camera yet that she came out, but either way, it's still trying to It could be a minute. It could be 30 seconds. So, like you can't leave a car, a baby unsecured in a running vehicle. I'm sorry. I mean, okay. I don't know what's going on at home, but you know, she needs help. She needs help. That's baby mama. She needs help. It doesn't look like she's in some crazy state of drug or all that, but there's obviously something going on and you need to help her. That's your That's your That's your daughter right there. That's your daughter, right? >> Yeah. >> You need to, you know, that is your mom. That is her mom. Okay. So, there has to be some type of uh agreement that you guys have to come to help her out, you know, for the baby. Okay. But she is going to jail today. Okay. Um based on that, okay? >> In the end, this one is also charged with child neglect. We move on to this case now where a mom abandons her two children alone at home while she goes out to have an affair. >> I don't even know what happened. You left your sevenyear-old and your 16-month old baby alone. >> It is February 16th, 2024. Cops get to this apartment after a father just got back from work to find that his one and seven-year-old were left unattended. Oh man, if I was that father. >> I'm just going to swear you in and then you're going to tell me what happened. All right, just raise your right hand. Just state your name. >> Emerson. >> All right, you put your hand down. Just tell me what happened tonight. >> So, I arrived home around 10:00. >> Around 10:00. >> Um, entered the apartment, heard the baby crying >> and went into the bedroom, saw the baby was in the crib, and um, my steps on the 7-year-old trying to console her. Thought maybe, you know, my wife was in the bathroom or something. I got her a bottle and I said, "Where's where's mommy?" And he said, "She left." And I said, "Are you sure? Like she's not taking the trash out or something." He said, "No, she left." I said, "When?" He said, "I don't know." I looked at my text messages. I mean, I normally would be getting home now. I was done early. >> Okay. >> Um, >> everything happens for you. >> Yeah. Um, the last contact that I had with her was like maybe quarter after 8. She had texted me asking for Thomas's our son's remote for his uh TV. >> That's your stepson, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Um I didn't see the text or anything like I run a restaurant. So >> yeah, you were busy. >> All of a sudden, you know, was like getting ready to leave and I responded back. I said, "Hey." >> Okay. So that was at 8:00. >> That was around like 9:30. Okay. >> Right before I got in the car to head home. >> Okay. >> Um yeah, like I said, got home, found them. How was the seven-year-old? >> Um, so I contacted his father. Okay. >> Um, his father instructed me to bring him to his grandparents who are staying at an Airbnb down the street. >> Where are they staying? >> No. Was Remy crying when she was crying? >> Yeah. >> Was her diaper changed? >> Uh, no. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And she was sick also, so she had like a smell all over. >> Okay. >> Now, this is the other father, correct? Yeah, he's a firefighter. >> Can I just click his name to get his phone number? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> So, why did he not call? >> I told him not to contact her and told him don't have her your parents contact her because I wanted >> So, where is he right now? Where? >> I believe so. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Just raise your right hand. Is everything you told me the truth? >> Yes. Okay. >> So, after talking to this father, the cops then contacted the father of the seven-year-old to inform him about the situation. Is this Tom? Okay. You have a son named Thomas also, correct? Who is seven? Okay. Now, I am being told you got a phone call today about him being left. Okay. Are you at the address in West Palm? >> No, right now. No, I'm at work. >> What happened tonight? >> Yeah. Her husband, he called me. He observed that both children were home alone and they were both awake. >> Okay. Now, have you spoken to your parents who have your child now? Did they say he had any injury or was distraught or anything of that nature? >> No, I Well, I did. I spoke to him on the phone. >> Okay. >> He was talking his normal cell, but >> Okay, perfect. So, I just wanted to touch base with you because obviously she is going to be arrested. >> Okay. >> Obviously, I do have to contact DCF in regards to this obviously. So, they might be reaching out to you, but other than that, that's going to be it for right now. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> All right. You have any questions? >> Did you like Did you find her? >> For right now, she's at the bar. >> Okay. Yeah. I mean, if she's at the bar, she left the mom. So, >> yeah. >> All right. >> All right. Have a good night. You're welcome. >> With that being said and done, the cop then worked on locating the mom and then put her under arrest. >> Turn around. Walk back to coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. He's coming. >> You're okay. He's coming back towards us. Come over to the right. >> What's happening? >> Courtney, right? >> Yeah. >> What's happening? >> You got anything on you? >> No. >> All right. You're being arrested. >> Why? >> Trial and neglect. >> What did my husband call? >> I'll explain everything to you. >> Okay. >> You have anything in your bra? >> I don't think so. >> Who is this guy? >> Who? >> Who is the guy that you're with? >> A friend of mine. >> Why? What's going on? I'm going to place you in my car and I will speak to you. Hold on. Take a seat. >> All right, Courtney. I'm going to read you your Miranda. Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you have the right to remain silent, not answer any questions? Do you understand? You have to say yes or no for my camera. >> Yes. >> Any statement you make must be freely and voluntarily given. Do you understand? >> Mhm. >> You got to speak up. >> Yeah. If you cannot afford a lawyer, you are entitled to the presence and representation of a quarterappointed lawyer before you make any statement or any questioning. Do you understand? >> No. >> No. >> No. Okay. >> After securing her in the squad car, the cop then transported her to the station. >> I don't even know what happened. You left your sevenyear-old and your 16-month old baby alone. >> Okay. My husband was home. >> He was not home. >> Okay. Well, I want to myself. >> You still going to jail? >> You'll just be alone naked in a cell. >> That's what you're going to say. I'm going to be alone in a cell. >> Yeah. If you're suicidal, you'll be alone in a cell with no clothes to make sure you don't hurt yourself. >> So, you're rejecting me like mental health care. >> You'll get it at the jail. >> You must not have much patience with mental health, do you? >> What? >> What? I'ming like mentally like out here like I need to be in a hospital. >> Oh, >> well well what >> you get the help at uh jail. >> Well, >> when you get out hopefully you continue to get help. >> I didn't do anything wrong. I just want to go home. I'm not trying to go to jail, dude. >> How many times have you been arrested? >> Too many times. For what? >> Some dumb. >> I'm a addict and I'm struggling. >> You got arrested for drugs? >> Yeah. >> That's not good. You have kids at home. >> I got arrested on childhoods. Like, I'm not trying to do that again. >> What did you get arrested for? >> Childs. >> Wow. Look at that. You got a round two. >> Well, she threw that out the window with leaving her child alone while she was out cheating. >> Sorry, Thomas. I just want to talk to you. Okay. >> Okay. >> You want to sit? How old are you? >> Seven. >> Oh, so you're smart. What do you want to be when you get older? Firefighter like daddy. >> You know you're not in trouble, right? >> Yeah. >> Are you scared? >> No. >> You nervous right now? >> No. >> All right, good. You're brave for coming to talk to me. You were at mommy's yesterday. >> Yeah. >> You have a little sister? You like having a little sister? >> Kind of. >> Kind of. So, what happened at mommy's? >> She was like going to somewhere. I was by myself. >> Okay. Do you know how long you were by yourself for? >> 30 minutes or an hour or something. >> 30 minutes or an hour? >> Yeah. >> Now, what did you do when mommy left? Did mommy tell you where she was going? >> No, >> I don't remember. >> That's okay. You don't have to remember. Were you scared when mommy left? No. You were able to take care of yourself? I know you're big. All right, that's it. I'm done. And do you have any questions for me? >> No. >> You're really brave. your great big brother. I'll talk to you without him. >> Sorry for making you come out. >> I just have to get on camera, but obviously I know she left. >> Mhm. >> But it just solidifies it even more for the court, >> right? >> Um she was arrested last night. I arrested her at the bar. >> Okay. >> Most likely what will happen is there's going to be some court some kind of court order >> prohibiting her from the children. Right. >> I mean, obviously DCF will talk to you, courts will talk to you, and you guys can catch it from there. That's up to you guys, but usually for the most part, the court automatically puts that in place. >> Well, it's great. She didn't do like the same exact thing. >> Yeah. Yeah. She's Was it with him? >> Well, he was like technically involved, but he was with me at the time, but he was with his with her other son >> and he stays with you primarily for the most part. >> If you have any questions, you have my number. >> And that's it. I really appreciate you coming out again. Sorry to make you drive all the way out of here. In the end, this one is definitely charged with child neglect. Moving on to this case now where two parents went on stealing with their baby. >> Go on, man. >> Hey, what's up? >> What's up? >> Sam's girlfriend. >> Yes, sir. ID on you? >> No, sir. What's your first name? >> William. >> Mam, I have your ID on you. >> So, think about that time. Pokémon cards, man. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That um just so we have an understanding, she had nothing. >> She was right there with you when you could see >> I It is totally me, man. Totally me. 100% me. >> You guys put the Pokemon cards under the >> Yeah. I I I you will give them back, of course. Uh this 100% my responsibility, sir. Do seriously honest to God. Um I am short on my rent and they are very valuable and I I was hoping to pull something in order to make up the money. I'm short on my rent. >> And where are the cards in the car? >> Yeah, >> I know. Where they >> in the back seat. >> By the way, you can't say she had nothing to do with it when that's all you guys came in here for. And you concealed it right next to her. >> Just so you're aware of that, sir. >> I get what you're saying. I'm just saying she would have never >> Doesn't matter. She was right there with you. >> Say, I don't know if it would make a difference. Is there any way we could pay for it? >> This isn't an apology type of thing. We've already done it. You know what I mean? There's no way to just suddenly, hey, we're going to pay for everything because we got caught by the police. >> Yes, sir. >> You ever been arrested before? >> Yes, sir. >> For what? >> When I was a juvenile um stealing from Walmart when I or being with somebody who was stealing from Walmart when I was a juvenile and um for battery as an adult at this point, I guess so. >> Could I call my dad to get my please? >> Yeah, we'll figure that in a second. Okay. With the father secured, the cops then came to deal with the mother. Just have a seat back in the car for a moment. >> Okay. But can I ask a question? >> Have a seat back in the car. Okay. >> Have a seat. >> Just keep your hands on the dash. Keep the door open. Okay. Yeah. You also stole stuff with the baby. >> Yeah. >> That doesn't matter. >> I have the money for it. I can >> Yeah, but as I just told him, that's not how this works. You don't get to suddenly want to pay for things after you get caught by the police. It's not how it works. >> I literally You can literally see that I yelled for him. Like I literally >> walked right over to you and concealed it. It's on video. >> I I literally >> You watched him do everything. You cannot Don't >> Okay. All right. I just >> You also have all this stuff here. It's the same situation. >> Well, that's bulk from what we had before and we were going through all of our stuff. >> It's the same situation. Am I going to know when his bail is or does he have to call me or >> wait? Okay, you're asking all these questions and you're just as involved as he is. You understand that, right? >> Yeah, but I >> Okay, so stop asking questions being that you might be taking the ride with them. Do you understand what's going on here? >> Yeah, I do. >> Do you understand what's going on? >> Yes, sure. >> Okay, so stop acting stupid. >> Oh, I'm just curious. >> And understand you're doing this with a kid. That elevates things. Yeah, but I I cannot talk to me. >> No, >> because even if he doesn't want to press charges, >> I know the >> state of Florida does. I'll go get fresh. We have child endangerment on the How old is your child? >> A year old. And they use the show before. And with that, the mother also gets arrested. >> All right, Courtney, you want to call your uh your father to come pick up your son? >> Why am I going? >> Yeah, you're being you're being placed under arrest. >> Wait, what? Please, can I just be with the baby? >> I am being a decent human. You literally put your one-year-old child in danger. >> How is that? >> You cannot do a crime and then nothing happens because you have a kid. >> It is happening. I'm >> You use the stroller as a ways of concealing the getting arrested >> and so is she. I need you to call your dad to come pick him up. Either you call him or I call DCF and please >> I'll take the phone. >> Can I call him and tell him? >> What's his first name? >> His name is William. >> Okay. >> Please. I just want to make it with my baby. Please. >> You can be with him when you get out. But you are going to jail tonight. Okay. >> Please. I can't be without him. >> Hello. >> Hey. How are you? This is Deputy K County Sheriff's Office. How you doing? >> Um, I'm fine. How are you? >> I'm doing good. Hey, I'm with Courtney right now. Uh, where are you located currently? Okay. Right now I'm in um >> Okay. Can you come over to uh the target on >> Absolutely. >> All right. Just to make you aware before you show up on scene, you're going to be taking custody of her child. She's being placed under arrest. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Okay. >> So, we're over here right now. About how long do you think you'll be? >> Um about 15 minutes. >> Okay. Can I get you the exact Can you look at the exact address? >> Stop. >> All right. Perfect. >> I'll be there in 15 minutes. >> All right, Judy. Thank I'll see you soon. All right. Bye. >> Um, >> can I ask a question, please? >> Go ahead. >> Um, before you put me in a good rest, please. >> Oh my god, look at my hand. Okay. >> Um, first thing, um, are they going to post my bail tonight? >> I I don't know. I don't control bond. So, what I am going to do is obviously I don't want to place you in handcuffs in case we still need to, you know, worry about a child. So, as of right now, I'm going to keep you out of handcuffs, okay? But I do need you to take out all your everything out of your pockets. I need your key lanyard. You know, all that stuff. Okay. >> Okay. >> Listen to what I'm telling you, Courtney. Okay. I'm being very cordial with you. I don't want to place you in handcuffs until your mom gets here. That way, she can take custody of your son. >> Okay. >> Can I grab him and hold him, please? >> Not right now. >> Because I don't want to get into a fight with you over your child. Okay. No, that's I'm not going to give you that option to Okay. What's your What's your son's first name? >> So, if you want to go ahead and just have a seat right on this curb for me. >> Can I Can I please >> have a seat on the curb for me? Thank you. >> I will see you on the curve court. Thank you. I don't want to handcuff you in case you need to do something with your child. Okay. So, just bear with us. All right. >> Oh, please. I can't be without him. Jeez, lady. How about not doing illegal stuff that'll cause you to go to jail and then you won't be without him? >> I will. You have the right to remain silent. I answer any of my questions. Any statement can be used to in court of law. You understand your rights. So >> you guys are stealing these for to sell them because you got a you got a ton of cards in there. Do you can't sell those? >> Yeah, we >> I'm kind of confused, man, cuz that's like a >> Yeah, we a lot of them like the ones that commons and stuff. >> Yeah, they're not worth a lot. The ones that are in sleeves we have valued. >> Okay. >> We're $100 short of what our rent is and that's why I got And how do you sell them? You just sell them locally offer up and stuff? >> Yeah. Offer up or to a game. Is that crazy? >> Yeah. Or to a game shop. They buy them immediately for cash. >> Okay, fair enough. >> All right. Is there anything in that car besides Pokemon cards I need to be aware of? Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, there's While I'm searching the uh the rest of the car inside of a Not only I have a cigarette or cigar, right? That was on your side. >> Okay. >> So, >> I'll take responsibility. >> Well, I don't want you to take Is it yours or is it hers? >> The cigarette is mine. >> Okay. So, that's fine. Um and then uh there's a Milwaukee lunch box. What's in the lunch box? >> A Milwaukee lunch box? >> Yeah. It's like Oh, I'm sorry. No, it's uh so it's a red lunch box. >> Uh-huh. >> Is what's in that lunch box yours? >> Um uh actually we went um fishing earlier today with my niece and two of my friends and they left a lunch box and a fishing pole in my car. >> But it's unzipped and opened. That's what I'm saying. Like that's weird. >> Yeah. I >> And inside of there we have pills and a pill bottle and a pill cutter. >> Yeah. >> No, sir. >> So the lunch box isn't yours? >> No, sir. >> Is it going to be hers? >> No, it is not hers. >> Are you guys going to other stores and doing this? No, sir. >> So, how do you guys have so many Pokémon cards? >> I I've been collecting for years. >> That's what I'm saying. But these are all new cards, man. They're all like fresh out of the pack. >> Yeah. The ones that I have, >> the ones that are in there. Yeah. >> Yeah. Those those are I've If you see the sleeves in there, they're all sleeved up. Well taken care of. Fresh out of my binder. We were taking them to the game store. Prodigy. >> Okay. All right. We are. >> After talking to the father, the cops then came to search the car. >> Uh, do you guys have any kind of prescriptions or anything like that? Any what? >> Prescriptions. Like pill prescriptions? >> No, I don't know. He don't. Not that I'm aware of. >> All right. So, if there's pills in that lunch box, whose pills would those be? >> Um, my guess would be his because I don't touch the lunch box. He, like I said, he usually keeps it in the work truck and he brought it with when we went um when we went fishing. >> Okay. You're not taking that till my baby's out, right? No, we were going to leave the baby in the car and then hopefully your mom can meet the tow truck driver. What kind of question is that? >> Listen to me. >> Because you're asking. Why would you ask that question? >> Because my baby was still in the car. >> Obviously, we're still searching the car. >> Just just sit there and listen to what's going on. Okay. Just sit there. You don't need to keep asking questions. All right. >> If you were so worried about your baby, you wouldn't be doing this with your child. That's what the bottom line is. >> Okay. This was a mistake. After a while, the grandparent arrived on scene to pick up the kid. Did >> I get the baby? >> Yeah. Yeah. So, did uh did Judy call you? >> Yeah, I'm I'm I'm Judy's husband. I'm >> Okay, perfect. All right. So, yeah. >> Can I get him so he stops crying? >> Yeah. Yeah, that's what I was walking. [clears throat] I >> appreciate it. >> Absolutely. >> What are you doing? Huh? What's going on? You see all the lights? >> Hi guys. Thanks. Thanks for taking care of >> They are being arrested. Uh you know, >> um who's being arrested? Both of them. >> Both of them. >> Yeah, both of them. They're both they put their son at risk. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Yeah. Again, I can't go into the full nature of it, but either way, they're they're both being transported to the jail tonight, and their car is being towed. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Okay. >> You have anything sharp on you going to stick or poke me? >> No, sir. I don't have anything. >> Okay. Just going to put your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. >> Oh, I have bracelets on him. There's one on this one. >> Okay. I'm just going to take them off right now. >> Thank you. >> You want me to leave them in your car? >> Um, no, that's okay. >> You want to take them with you? >> Yeah. I don't think I'll be able to get my car out. I don't know if I'm able to force them. He's the only one working. >> What about the ring? You want the ring to go with >> Oh, it's my engagement ring. Yes, please. Oh, no. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. All right, take a seat. >> Hey, remember what I told you, okay? Think about your child when you get up. >> Okay, a little bit better. All right. >> I'm so sorry. I really am. I'm so sorry. >> You want me to roll the window down for you? >> Yeah, because I feel like I want to have a panic inside. >> All right, just breathe. Just breathe. You'll be okay. >> The two are charged with shoplifting, child endangerment, possession of cannabis, and trespassing. GET THE [ __ ] OFF MY GIRLFRIEND. I'll go talk [screaming] to THE MANAGER. >> WE GOT up here. >> You stay out here with them. There's already three of them. I'll be all right. >> Yes. What do you have for me? Uh, I was the first one to deal with them. So, they walk in. I I come up front and they're literally holding this. They're kind of like they're about to throw them. So, I look at them. I give them a mom look. I'm like, "All right, just let it go." You know what I mean? They sign their receipt and they think it's all cute to fling the pen at me. I let that go, too. >> Okay. >> They're touching everything. Is this real? Is this real? Touching. So, I have Ashley come up and then Ashley comes up cuz she's she's my uh she's my tucker big sister type.
