That's why I backed up. he to you, you know? know him. He He told Thank you so much. you when he took the money? Yes. What did he say? He He said, "You're not getting Put the The lady in there, she was older, she seen them talking to me. He told me that he wanted He needed help with some money. I said, "Okay, um well, I'll probably have, you know, some change in my purse." And so So, this was for a century. He was by himself. He was by himself, so when I put my head down to reach in my purse, he was like, "You might as well just give me all of that." I said, "No, what are you doing?" Then six dudes came up like surrounding me. And I was like, "You guys are all together?" And then once the lady said, "Get out of here with that," we walked this way, and then it was two cars waiting with dudes. Got you. Do you have any idea on him? So, that he asked you He initially asked you for money? Yes, he asked me to help him with some money. Okay. He said he needed $100, and I said, "I don't have 100, but I can give you something of what I have. I just got off work." He was like, "You don't have a Cash App or a card?" Of course, I said, "No, I'm not going to go that far." By the time I put my head down, he snatched it out of my hand. I was like, "Where are you going?" Uh-huh. And he was like, "Oh, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it." And I was like, "How are you going to steal money from me? You just asked me to help you with something." And I followed them out here. Okay. When he When he took the money out of your hand, did he make threats to you or Yes, I As soon as I said, "Give me back my money. That's all I have. I just got off work. I'm doing some food to feed my kids." He was like, "You better back up before I break your [ __ ] face." I was like, "You don't know if I have food stamps or something." And he was like He was like, "You're not going to do [ __ ] I promise you." And he was like, "I got a burner, and I will blow your [ __ ] face out." That's what he said, and that's what made me back up. Okay. Cuz he stood tall He stood tall and went like that, and I backed up. What does he look like? He's a tall guy, has on a white shirt, has on a hat, face is gray, black male. Tall black male with a white shirt? Yeah, his What kind of hat? I I don't remember the hat, but it's a probably one that has to be out of lids or something. And what kind of car did they It was a black Dodge Charger. All right. Will you go do a show When we get there, so let me know if you can positively ID the person that took the money out of your hand and which one it is specifically. He's just going to stand at the back of the car with you? Which one's the one that took the money? Is there What about him over there? Got you. The male standing with you is going to be the one positive ID. Is the gentleman in the blue hat that took the money? Yes, and the driver the driver was what the driver with the black the dude with the dreads right there with the all black t-shirt. It's going to be a strong arm robbery. Okay, stop. Hold the phone. Got a couple of things to flush out. Let's go with the fact that she is the person reporting the PR, right? The reporting party the RP, either one, and at the same time the victim when they call 911, okay? Got that. We don't really have that many examples in prior videos as being the PR or the RP and at the same time being the victim, okay? Check. Got that part. Now, we got to talk about theft, okay? In the state of Florida 812.014. Did a little research, okay? Here's what it says. You knowingly take or use someone else's property with the intent to deprive them of it, okay? Got that part. Now, robbery, the key difference is, according to 812.13, robbery involves the taking of property, right? Just like theft, plus the use of force, violence, or assault, or fear. That's all. That's all you got to add. That's what we got thus far and we got the field show up. You're good to go. Got a frank in the tank. It's a felony. Let's move on. Do you know which worker it was you said was present? but it was a older lady and I don't see her. What about this lady right here? No, that's not her. When you When you said he said something about playing a game, what How did he word that? Um he was like I'll give you all your money back if you play a game. If you play a game? I was not playing a game. Got you. And that's what I started to get loud and the lady that was working there chose to get out of there with all that loud. She was the one that was standing there. Yeah, I say that like let's go to the store. You stole. Okay, cuz it Okay, so you were over here. Cuz she I just when I just asked her she said she worked down there. but I'm working. No, I'm working. She was standing there. I got loud and that's when she was like okay, I'll get out of here with all that. But it was over here? Yeah, it was I like right there. See like that. Yes, I'm working for them on 15 minute break. One customer tell me look at this guy. They playing games. Mhm. Three cards. Yeah. I said I see no go go. Yeah, they did. Yeah, I say I got let's go to the sign now. And I think but only one playing now. The other two waiting for him and Yeah, okay. How does she How does she get her money back? Um Well, yeah, it just I mean it depends. It I mean if How much was it? It was $600. Jesus. Uh That's all I had. So Was What kind of bills were were in it? hundred dollar bills and the rest were twenties. Okay. I know he has hundreds on him cuz when by the time he I said I'm going to call the police, he flexed money and was like like that. And he flexed a whole lot. So I just thought he was going to video but he didn't shoot playing the game. Mhm. for money. And I guess So yeah, absolutely didn't hand it. And he'll let them keep winning for like 3:00 in the yeah. So basically It's a game they play with cards. They shuffle the cards around whatever and then he like He was playing that in Walmart? Yeah. Well, the lady up there told her that you can't be out here playing the game. The guy was right there in Walmart. She called him behind me. Yeah, he was She kept winning. She kept winning. And all of a sudden she lost. Probably. So, he told me to write down specifically detailed what happened. Okay, she took an L. Which by the way, why Walmart? This is like the third video we've done with Walmart. Walmart is like popular for stuff to go down, right? I mean, look, she took the L and then she calls 911. [snorts] I'mma call BS. Yeah, so this tall lady came up to us came up and this Tell me everything. Tell me exactly where you were in the store. Get ready to Okay. So, I was standing right where it says the Well, like the self-check out next to the batteries. Okay. I was checking my email cuz I initially walked in to make sure I had enough money on my card. So, I picked up some tangerines, went to self-check out, um made sure there was money on my card, and then I pulled over to the side and started checking my email. He approached me from the front actually cuz my head was down. He was like, "Um yo, what's up?" I was like, "Um that's I was like, "I'm kind of busy right now." He was like, "I'm trying to get help." And I was like, "Well, what do you need help with?" And then he was like, "Um a trip." I was like, "What trip?" And he was like, "Um to get back home." I was like, "Where are you from?" He never told me where they where he was from. So, then I'm like, "Well, I'm playing Right. So, I was like, "Okay." And he was like, I was like, "Well, what do you need?" And then he was like, "$100." And I was like, I was like, "I don't know. I I can probably give you something." I was like, "I can give you something off towards it or whatever." So, then I pulled out I pulled out some money, but as I'm trying to grab the 50 cuz this is how this is how I had the money in here. So, I was like, "What are you doing?" He was like, "We about to play a game." I was like, "What game?" He was like, "If you play a game, I'll give you all your money back." I was like, "I'm not playing no game." And then that's when I said that, that's when three guys came up behind me and was like, "Um play the game, shawty. Play the game." But I was like, "No, I'm not playing no game." And he was like, "You play the game, I'll give you more than what I took from you. I said, no, I don't want I don't want a piece. I'll give you $2,000. I said, I don't want $2,000. Can you just give me back $600? So, the guy, um, that had the, uh, the, uh, the black t-shirt on with the dreads, he was like, uh, he was like, we got it, we got it, just play the game, we'll give you back, whatever. You don't want more? He was like, show out if you want to and I'll break your face. And I was like, you're not going to do nothing to me. He was like, I promise you I'll show you. He was like, come on, I'mma show you. I was like, no, I promise you you're not. Okay. So, this happens afterwards, right? Meaning you called 911 after you played this game because you lost your money. Help me out here. You really think this is a robbery? So, Hey, at any time during all that did he say did he say play the game? I kept saying I didn't play I didn't play the had four $100 bills. What? I didn't get my money back. Push the BS button. Yes, you decided to play the game. Come on, man. Come on. You play a game, you lose your money, then you call 911 and say, oh my god, this is a robbery by force or fear, you know, he said he was going to shoot me. Not buying it. Push it. He said, you can you can pick some pick which one what what whatever card is red, I'll give you your money back plus $2,000. So, that's when the dude came in and picked one. And then I was like, damn, he was like, I pick this one right here. But he had two guys distracting me. He had two other guys with them and they started playing and then that's when I was like, damn, why you going to do me like that? He was like, oh, sorry, time's up, you lost. So, when you standing over there, he told you to pick a card, is that what you saying? Yeah, he he told me to pick a card. What's So, at the end, he didn't he didn't approach me and say play a game. He didn't approach me and say none of that. He approached me about the game once I said, give me back my effing money and he was like, how how about we play a game and you get your money back plus more? So, we understand you're a victim, right? We understand that, but we're just trying to get to the bottom of everything. If you played the game, that's fine if you did, but we're still trying to figure out what's going on because when we get ready to write the report, they need to start from the beginning to the end. So, that's why I keep asking did you play the game because we watched the video. Right. And that's We're just trying to get to the bottom of it. Right. You are a victim. We know that for sure, but we're just trying to get to the bottom of everything. So, how many times did you play the game? Once. You only played it once? Yeah. To get back my money, he was like if you play if you tell me which card is red, I will I will give you back your $600 plus more, which was the $2,000. So, how did you get the $600? He Once he snatched it once I once I had it in my hand like this, I had I had my money in my hand. He was like He was like, "You know what?" He was like, "You know what? I'll do that." He was like, "How about" I couldn't I couldn't even talk. He was doing all the talking and his homeboys were distracting me. Once he snatched my money, I was like, "Yeah, why you" I was like, "Why you doing all that?" He was like, "I'm going to" He was like, "Hold on, I'm going to do something." "What are you going to do?" I said, "No, I need to get my money back. You tricked me." And that's Once he snatched the money from me, that's when all of them like came in on me. So, I was like, "Damn, I can't really do nothing in this spot right here." Okay. And I look I just looked at the video and I didn't see him snatch the money from me. Where did you have the money at? I had the money right here. Yeah, I didn't I I I must have I must have missed something. Listen, the money was right here. I had the money like this. Mhm. When I when I told him I said I got I got a hundred, but I'll give you some change. I had to I had to go in my purse and get change cuz you was never going to get a hundred dollars. If somebody comes up to you trying to play games with you, like you're probably approach me to play a game. Okay. He never approached me to play a game. The first approach was to go to a trick. Okay. So, we watched the video and you're playing with him and handing him money and you're playing a three-card game, which is illegal in New York City. You guys You can't gamble. That's gambling. Okay. So, he's he's willing The other two guys were in it with him. They all know each other. Okay, so they were trying to play and that's what they do. So, he's willing to give you the $600 back if you want to go to the Dollar Tree where you where just that and get the money back. Coordinate with the officer. What about the other guy as well cuz they were they are real aggressive. No. You still can press charges. There's no charges to press is what we're saying. There is no actual robbery. You played a game with him in exchange for money. You gambled. 3 card monte. Game off TV. This is a city ordinance violation for Always two sides to the story, right? Looks like that we call it 211 here, 211 PC. It's robbery here in the state of California. This is a 211 that's gone bad cuz there is no robbery as far as I'm concerned. You tell me what you think. On the video, he played the game once. Do you have any video of him taking money out of her pocket? No. The victim here said I guess he handed her the big maker. Did she hand the money to him? Yeah. Yeah, she handed the money to him. Well, we're going to charge her for a false police report and file a false police report. Oh. Damn. And we're going to arrest him for gambling. Where is she at right now? She's right behind me. You got her with you, ma'am? Yes, she's here. Misuse of 911. I mean, she could have called I mean, we're going code and we had everyone out we would have authorized the pursuit. So, she's going to go for filing a false police report. We'll tell San Jose to hook this guy up for um gambling. Okay. Charge her for misuse of 911. That or filing a false police report. Yeah, don't do me a favor. Can you just write me back? So, you're going to be gone for misuse of 911. Misuse of what? 911. Misuse of 911. Correct. Let me help you out with that, partner. Misuse 911 365.172 I suppose the 14th section. Here's what it says. A person commits a first-degree misdemeanor if they use 911 to make a false alarm or complaint, report false information that could trigger an emergency response, knowing use 911 for a purpose other than obtaining public safety assistance, or the use of the service to avoid a charge. There you have it. You basically called 911 and told them that pretty much that I'm being held at gunpoint, right? By force of fear. That's not going to cut it. That's what we have. So, do I at least get my money back from the police? Yeah, we'll get your money back. What's going on? My phone is dead. He said I'm going to jail for misuse of 911. I got told that Get the transport. You can't be serious right now. Absolutely serious. We watched the video of what happened. Urban 1/2 possibly Completely different in your phone call triggered a response where we got certain resources up and we're responding a certain way that puts people in danger, puts us in danger, puts Caller initially called in CTTV. You're trying to say The person out of their house he just grabbed their son aggressively and hit him. Two doors down next door. While they were on the phone he failed. Supposed to walk down. So, they were in And during the investigation tonight started going after her with his fist and then I didn't play no game or from the whole beginning. I gave him $100 or change back to where he came from. There's no appeal of you with the first three charges. showing him putting the money in his hand in the purse. There's a video showing you giving him Yeah, I gave him $100. I gave him that. Once he seen I had more, he said, "Do I have change?" And he snatched the rest of the money out of my hand. But, can I just explain something? You initially told me, right, when I talked to you in the parking lot that he asked you for $100. Yes. You said that you said no, but you were willing to give him some money. So, you reached in your purse. You said at that point he reached in your purse and snatched a wad of $600 out of your purse. That's what you told me. You said 400 and the rest for 200. Okay, the video does not show him anybody ever reaching in your purse and taking money. He did say something about The video shows an exchange of money between you and him. what I gave him. Okay, the video shows an exchange of money between you and him inside the Walmart and then after you walk outside of the Walmart. So, y'all So, we're responding what you initially told me. We're responding to a strong-arm robbery. It's a felony. It's a big deal. Sir, he did say he had a gun and he was going to do whatever it was to me. He did tell tell me I didn't initially tell me anything about a gun. I didn't tell you anything about it. You told me that he said He was going to blow my [ __ ] face off. He said, "I'll break your You better back the [ __ ] up or I'll break your face. Yes, he does This is what he said. Yeah, but you didn't tell me anything about him threatening with a firearm. Sir, he did threaten me with a firearm. All right, well, you're You're going to walk over to my car. Yeah, and surprisingly enough, they're doing all this without Miranda. Maybe the video doesn't depict her being Mirandized cuz I know in the state of Florida they use that practice, which is good, right? She's telling you this whole story and I'm not buying it, man. Push that BS button. Look, let me just add this. You can cause so much danger to the innocent bystanders when you call 911 and give false information or you start making stuff up. Think about that. Can you Can you search Can you search her for me? Wait, so what are y'all charging her with? Misuse of 911 to 10. Can you go back over to tax point? I've got Anything on you? Anything you want to leave with her? I got the watch. That's everything. Good. All right, we're just going to walk over to my car, all right? You want to get the purse? You don't got to get her. Just post my bond. Which one are you talking about? Yeah. All right. Three Delta 42 Central. What? You don't have any money? Can she get Can you guys give her the money? Three Delta 42, copy. Yeah, go ahead and sit down. I'll I'll figure out what's going on with the money. It was like first those Randy guys. All right. So, the guy that has your money, he's under arrest as well. We're going to get your money back when we get to the police department. It's just going to go on your property. Okay. So, you're going to get your money back. Okay, let's wrap this up. Final thoughts and like always, first and foremost, big shout out to Daytona Beach PD, man. Great investigation, right? I didn't see that coming. You went from a strong-arm 211 robbery, right? Into a misuse of 911. And today's victim is also today's suspect, okay? Look, the biggest lesson of them all is this. You know what? Don't be playing card games at Walmart for starters, right? And you got to make better decisions. You really do. Hope you learned something. Be safe out there. Up next, I'm looking at a Walmart mass stabbing that leaves 11 victims injured. Throw it away! Those were all criminals in Walmart. Your name is Jesus Christ? Yeah, now it's Brad. But that's over on my second channel where I'll be covering some of the most critical incidents in policing history. The woman was charged with misuse of 911. She spent one day in jail before being released on a $500 bond. She was also ordered to pay $348 in fines, fees, and court costs. Now, turning to the other person involved, the man was charged with gambling. Okay, you know the drill. Hit that like button. Hit that notification bell. Don't forget to subscribe.
