I I am in a stalker situation where I'm out of work and I I have distress going on in my life. Um, it's documented. It's all over Palm Beach, whatever, that I have a circus situation, but I've been off of work for 3 weeks. I'm going back next week. I'm really excited about it. I was just going to go to the beach side and I want to get candy. Mhm. And now I live right there and you're pulling me over. So, whatever you want me to do, we'll do. Okay. Okay. Time out. Here's what I would like you to do. I'm sure you guys would agree is you know what? Put some clothes on. I mean, put your t-shirt on and you know that beach skirt, but okay. DUI investigation for sure. She's stumbling. It's got a little bit of a slur speech. Those are your objective symptoms. That's what we got going on. I don't know. And she's claiming lawyer, lawyer, lawyer, which by the way, I'm going to address that lawyer request that everybody seems to be doing lately. It's like a phenomenon. But you know what? So, Fort Twilies, right, at 11:00 p.m. I believe the time stamp on the body warn camera is like 8:24. It's like in the morning, between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. That's like 8 n hours later. And can you imagine if she blew like 0.15? Well, anything over 08 is considered to be impaired. However, I don't know. What do you think 1122? I'mma call BS on that. Which, by the way, she didn't say two drinks like everybody else says, right? She said four. Four trillies. Um, if you're going to arrest me, I want to promise you one thing. David is my lawyer, and I promise you this isn't going to go well for anybody. Well, nobody said that you were being arrested. And it's not going to go well for me, but it it sure won't look good for you. He's Jewish and I am not Jewish. I'm Christian and he is my father. Okay. So, were you going to call him? Okay. And I know we've covered this in the past about whether the SFST is considered to be pass or fail or should we even have a field severity test. What we should do is have um those portable breathalyzer tests. So you can just get the suspect to blow and the reader will tell you right away. That way we can avoid uh the field survivority tests. But maybe perhaps departments uh with their budget, you know, you got to buy them, you got to train them and get certified, etc., etc. definitely would like to have those portable devices to give you that reading ASAP. What would you like me to do to prove that I'm sober? Well, I would like You want me to walk? You want me to do cotwels? What do you want me to do? Or what I should say is that maybe perhaps start this like service and call it the roadside litigator uh in which suspects right have you on speed dial lawyer and for whatever reason you show up right within 24 hours a couple hours and whatever the case may be whether it's a DUI arrest or any other arrest there's this phenomenon lately not when I was on the job 28 years ago when I worked patrol that you feel entitled to call your lawyer what is Is your lawyer going to do at scene? Again, man, thorough investigation. I suppose uh not many DUI investigations uh that the deputy conducted because we're waiting for the card. I'm gonna tell you right now, I haven't done that many DUI investigations during my time in patrol. With that being said, the ultimate lesson learned here is stop drinking and driving and getting behind the wheel of your car and decide to drive because you are putting innocent lives uh in danger, including yourself. Okay? Please, you got to make better decisions. Okay. Okay. So, she was charged with the following DUI, refusal to submit to breathtesting, and resisting an officer without violence. She was released on bond with conditions that included pre-trial supervision, monthly drug and alcohol testing, and an order to refrain from all substances. Okay.
