Are you taking me to jail? >> Yes, you're going to jail. >> No, no, no, no, no. My dog has dementia. Please, please, please. >> Cuz you're moving around so much. I don't know what you HAVE ON. >> YOU GUYS, I WAS ASSAULTED BY A MAN. I CAN'T HELP SOMEBODY. I know. Don't touch me. >> I've got to go to work and y'all pulling me out for some bull. THIS IS A GAME. SO FUN TO Y'ALL. >> You and youring rules. >> Knock it off. >> Arrest me then. >> Come over here. >> You >> come over here. >> If you're NOT GOING TO ARREST ME, THEN GET OUT THE UP. Get back. You're going to get too. >> The lights come on. The car pulls over. And somehow the driver thinks they're in charge. What follows is a collection of traffic stops where these Karens learn a very simple lesson. You don't run the traffic stop. Welcome to Police X10, where attitude meets authority. Let's take a look at today's wild cases in cops versus the dumbest cars who think they're running the traffic stop. Starting with this lovely girl who screamed for mommy after not getting her way during a traffic stop. >> I don't know. >> Step out. Hey, how you doing? >> You got your driver's license on you? >> Got your driver's license on you? >> Can I ask you? >> You got your driver's license on you? Yes or no question? I don't mind answering questions. Negative. I can be up to you. >> Why you pulling me over? >> Once you hand me your driver's license, this I will be happy to tell you why you getting pulled over. Okay. >> 63. Go ahead. Roll another. >> So, your driver's license is suspended. >> You said why? Failed to appear. >> Where? >> I don't know. You tell me. You got a ticket, right? >> Yes. So, no. Only tickets. I got to pay my two Potter spring tickets that I just got and I just paid my ticket for uh four f whatever it is. >> Okay. Did you go to court? >> No. That's why my ticket was $300. >> You didn't go to court. Did you pay it before or after? >> No. That's how I know I had my ticket was $300 cuz I failed to appear in court and I had to pay $300. >> So, your license hasn't been reinstated since then. >> I just renewed my driver license for my birthday. >> License suspended. >> Got somebody to come get your vehicle? >> Oh my god. Are you going to tow my car? >> No. That's what I'm asking you. Do you got somebody to come get your victim? >> Can I just go home? >> No, ma'am. You can't just go home. >> I didn't know my driver's license was suspended. My house is right down there. >> But you said you had a failure to appear. >> But necessary. Yes, >> that's going to be But understand that. But you still have to pay the state of Georgia reinstatement fine feinatement fee to get your driver's license back. >> I didn't even know that it was I didn't even know that it was suspended. I don't have no mail work, no nothing. So when again So when you get issued a citation, it's your responsibility when you sign that citation stating that I will take care of that ticket. >> Exactly. So I >> But you did take care of that ticket until after the fact. >> That's why my ticket was $300. >> You did not take care of that. But you didn't take care of that ticket. >> Yes, I did. >> You did not take care of the ticket within the allotted time [music] that they gave you. So you just said you had to pay $300 for a failure to appear. They suspended >> they suspended your driver's license as well for it. >> I didn't know that. So, why didn't the guy So, when you pulled me over for my Potter Springs ticket, I can show you them right now. He didn't say nothing about my license. >> He gave me a ticket for my rear light view, my real light, and then no seat belt. So, why didn't he tell me then? >> I don't know. I wasn't on that traffic stop with the officer, so I don't know. >> So, the cop just pulled her over for no reason then, huh? [laughter] As if she knew her license was suspended. She just hoped that playing stupid would work. Sadly for her, it ain't going to with this officer. So, let's arrange let's arrange somebody to come get your vehicle cuz you cannot operate a vehicle in the state of Georgia until you get your license back reinstated. Okay. Okay. You hear me? Okay. And another thing, you will be going to jail today. Okay. >> Why? >> You have a suspended license. You cannot >> I did not know that my license was suspended. >> So, that's be that would be a conversation for you to express to the judge. >> Sir, why do I have to go to jail? No. >> In the city of Douglasville, we take people to jail when they operate a motor vehicle in the state of Georgia with a suspended license. >> Even know. >> So when you got issued that ticket, >> no. >> That's what the judge is going to say. When you got issued that ticket, if you would have took care of it, you would have never got in any trouble. >> Even know I did. >> You didn't go to court. Did you go to court the day you supposed to go to court? >> Listen, but that's how I know. But they sent me a ticket in the mail and they said this, your ticket is going to be this much because you a fairy to appear. I didn't know that my license was suspended, but I paid that ticket. I'm but so that's why I'm telling you your license is suspended. That does not require it does not require for anybody to tell you that your license is suspended. Understanding the fact when you got issued the citation. >> He didn't. >> It was a traffic infraction. Correct. What was your license? What did you get a ticket for? >> My my most recent or these paid >> for the fade to appear >> because I was speeding. >> Okay. So you understand that if you don't appear to court, you had a warrant taken off for your arrest. I didn't even know >> you didn't go to court. >> But why? Okay. Okay. Okay. I get >> So, you got to understand when I got You have to understand it's nobody's responsibility to tell you to go to court. >> No, I No, I get that part. I understand that. But if if if it said Oh my god, my hands are shaking. >> When I when I got that, it was a it was a week before my birthday cuz I didn't reinstate my uh registration yet. >> And when he pulled me over for those two tickets, why why didn't why didn't he tell me >> who? I don't even pause. I swear to God. >> The Powder Springs officer. Yes. >> You already asked me that and I told you I don't know. I wasn't out there with him. >> Okay, I understand that. Well, well, shouldn't Okay. Shouldn't he have took me? >> It all depends on when you got the ticket and when they suspended your license. >> It was uh was the beginning of August. >> 63. What's the suspension date on it? >> You got the ticket still in the car? >> Yeah. And my other purse? >> Oh, excuses, excuses, excuses. All her mouth knows are excuses. Lady, just accept it, please. Okay. And maybe the cop will go easy on you. Maybe. >> So don't step out for me, Milk. >> Do not call my mother, please. >> Yeah. Step out for me. >> Step out for me, Mila. >> Can I just >> step out for me before I charge you with obstruction? Cuz I'm giving you a lawful order. >> But you're not trying to do it, but you're doing it. I don't mind you talking on the phone. >> Come on out. >> Come on out. Come on out. >> Wait, sir. Please hold on. Please just give me >> That's not how it works. >> Mom, >> step out. >> Come on. I'll let you talk on the phone with mom. Come on out. >> Mom, I don't know. >> Step out. >> Listen. Listen, listen. Listen, listen, listen. >> Listen, listen. >> You going to get charged with obstruction and you won't be able to get out of jail until Monday. I'm sorry. Until Tuesday. [crying] >> I'm not trying to go down. >> Okay. I'mma allow you to talk on the phone, but you have to exit the vehicle. >> I'm trying to calm down. >> Come on. >> I'm right here. Let's go. >> Listen. >> Old enough, man. >> Come on, man. We got to get out the car. >> She is out the car. >> 29. Come on. Come on. Come on. Listen. Listen. Listen. >> I don't mind you talking on the phone with your mom. Please don't yell at me. Please. We're not. I'm just trying to calm down cuz my Please just let me please get >> But you have to But you have to listen. Come on. I'll let you talk on the phone back there. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. >> Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. I'm not going to work with you if you don't work with me. >> I'm so scared. HE [screaming] HAS MY ARM. I'm so scared. >> And understand that this this everything has been recorded and you not listening. >> No, I'm shooting. >> No, you're not listening. You're not listening. I'm asking you to exit the vehicle. I do not mind you talking on the phone with your mama, but you have to listen to what I am telling you. >> Just to be clear, she's not a teenager. This is a 29-year-old grown ass woman, almost 30, and acting like an embarrassment. >> Start with your left foot. >> You have to relax. I don't even have you in handcuffs. >> Put your left foot out. You're making it worse than it has to be. >> Step Listen, listen. Listen, listen, listen. >> Step out. Come on. Come on. There you go. >> There you go. I have to go to court on September 8th. >> My court paper my court paper's in the top part of my room. It's in the top part. Oh god, please. >> Listen. Listen. >> I didn't know. I swear I didn't know. >> I swear I didn't know. >> You got to calm down. That You could have made that go a lot worse. >> I'm sorry. It's Mike. I'm so sorry. It's paid for. >> That's not what they're saying. >> I don't give a what they say that. >> I'm asking you a question. Do you have any other proof of insurance? >> I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE. THAT'S IT. WHAT DOES IT SAY ON THERE? I'm pay up until a certain date. >> No, that's not what it says. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT SAYS. >> WHAT SAYS THAT? WHAT did you say? >> Okay, step out of the car. What did you say? >> Step out of the car. >> With emotions flying all over the place, the cop decided to instruct her to just step out of the car for safety reasons. >> I haven't raised my voice to you one time. >> I don't give a what you did. >> So, this is your problem. It's not mine. >> And I'm trying. >> I got to go to work and y'all pulling me out for some [ __ ] CUZ IT'S A GAME. IT'S NOT FUN TO Y'ALL. >> Stop you. If you keep it up, you're going to be considered a disorderly person. >> You and youring rules. >> Okay. So, do you have somebody that YOU CAN CALL? >> I DON'T. I DON'T. >> OKAY. WELL, where do you work? >> I don't know where the I am. This is some [ __ ] I'm sick of thising [ __ ] with y'alling toy cops. >> Toy cops? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. Well, your car is being impounded. So, why don't you get on the phone and call somebody to come give you a ride? >> Pound anybody. >> Well, where would you like a ride to then? >> I don't want to ride anywhere. Get the out of my face. >> DON'T GET AS THE COP PREPARED TO GIVE HER HER TICKET, she decided the smart thing to do in this situation is to walk away, which of course does not sit well with this cop. >> Just keep the car. I don't want it. >> Here's your driver's >> Don't grab stuff out of my hand like that. I didn't give you your tickets yet. >> You ain't going to do [ __ ] about it, you piece of [ __ ] >> Come over here now. Don't walk away from the stop. You're not released yet. You're going to get yourself arrested. Knock it off. >> Arrest me then. >> Come over here. >> You >> come over here. >> YOU'RE NOT GOING TO ARREST ME. THEN get out the out my face. >> Don't walk away from my traffic stop. It's not done. >> You said he was going. >> Drop it. >> Stay up against the car and stop moving. >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting me. Get in the car. >> Let me get my foot. >> Get in the car. >> Let me get my foot in first. YOU DON'T JUST THROW ME IN THERE. Piece of >> [ __ ] >> But you're under arrest. You said you was taking my car. That's the end of it. >> No, it's not. I didn't finish my traffic stop and you walked away and I told you to stop. >> No, you were. You said you're going to get out the car and the car. >> Okay. >> I'm not going to wait for the truck to come. I'm leaving. >> I didn't tell you to wait for the truck to come. >> Exactly. So, I'm good to go. >> No, I didn't give you your tickets. >> You have You're going to give them to me at jail. >> You're not going to jail. You weren't. >> No, you're under arrest. >> In the end, they charged her with driving without insurance. driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, and obstruction. Class, we move on to this case now where a couple will show you how to turn something minor into absolute insanity. >> Get back. You're going to get two. >> How's it going, man? >> Is that your handicap placer? >> That's my wife. >> Okay. So, your wife wants to be difficult over a simple question and now she wants to make an issue of it. So, the problem that I have is I was just ask I was being courteous by asking if it was hers and instead of rolling down the window just so I could ask her, she just kept pointing to it and now she just wants to play this game with me. So, technically, I could go write her $250 ticket and I can confiscate the handicap for her using it when she's not using it. And it was just going to be a simple conversation of, hey, just go park the car over there and now she wants to turn into this. >> So, let's not do that. >> I'm get in the car. >> Sure. and I'm going to get her driver's license and I'm going to run it and I'm going to see if she has any other prior. This is ridiculous. Like, this doesn't have to be It was a simple yes or no question. >> That's She has a hand. >> I don't know what why >> she put it up there after I was like, "Hey, do you have it?" And she put it up there. >> Oh, man. She hasn't even opened her mouth yet. And I already know she going to be a pain in the butt. You'll see. >> I I I need to go in the store now. Well, no, but you're right now you're detained and you're staying with me. >> Well, I'm detained. So, you don't have me pulled over >> for a violation of the handicap law. So, right now I watch your driver's license. >> I'm not violating anything. You don't have any lights on me. You don't have me pulled over, sir. >> You are stopped. I am telling you in uniform that you are being stopped and detained right now. >> For what? >> For a violation of the handicap placard. >> You want to bother me for nothing, sir. I'm sitting here batting my business. I didn't bother you. I didn't say nothing. >> You're right. You're absolutely right. You're absolutely right. me for nothing. >> Like I told your husband, I noticed the placard wasn't in the window. You don't have a handicap plate. I ask you about it. You hang it up there. I ask you if it's yours. You just keep pointing it to me. You won't answer any questions. >> What you said, sir. MY WINDOW IS UP. >> I asked you to roll the window down >> and I let it Well, YOU LET IT DOWN. I SAY YES. I SEE it in my current driving. Yes. >> So, it's it's very simple. If you want to be petty, I can be petty because >> petty, sir. because you're in violation of the handicap placard by using it in a parking space and not using the spot because your husband's inside. You can't use the parking spot with a handicap placer and let your husband go in. >> Yes, sir. >> So, that's all I was going to simply say to you. >> And I said, okay, you didn't even you didn't even get that far cuz you get to talk. >> You're right. I couldn't get that far because you wouldn't you wouldn't reason with me. You're like, I'm just going to move. Oh, I'm going to leave. >> I said I'll just move at the park then. What's wrong with moving? If you say I'm IN VIOLATION, OKAY, WELL, I'LL MOVE. Had you done that, >> I was sitting right here. You would have gave my car a ticket. >> ABSOLUTELY. >> SO, GIVE MY CAR ticket then or I move. What does my license have to do with anything? >> Because you're the occupant of the running vehicle with that handicap placard. So, I'm going to issue you then what? >> I'm going to issue you the citation. >> If I'm not in here then anymore, then what? Then what? >> I'm going to issue me a citation for me to go to court for that's after the fact. >> You're you're not in violation. >> That's after the fact. I want your driver's license. >> What? because I'm going to write you a citation for violating the handicap placard. I've explained it to you twice. >> I'm not violating. >> You're using the handicap spot that you're not using. >> So, it's very simple. I can get your driver's license and write you a petty ticket >> or I can arrest you. I really don't want to do that. I just want to write the ticket and go, but you want to be argumentative. So, here >> ticket to car. >> Here it is. >> Robbie, call your kids to come home. I'm going >> Here it is. Driver's license or jail. The choice is yours. If you're going to run away, I'm going to go get a warrant for your arrest. >> Dear Lord, her ability to turn nothing into something is almost a skill. No one in their right mind would do this effectively. It's like she's asking to be jailed. Okay, baby. If that's what you want, you might just get it. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. No. Move. You move now. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car now. Get out of the car now. Get out of the car now. Get out of the car now. I'm going to break the window. >> Back up. Don't stand over there. >> Get out of the car now. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. >> As the cop tries to pull this woman out, the husband suddenly decided to get stupid along with her and interfere with the arrest. >> You are under arrest. BACK UP. >> BACK OFF. >> DON'T DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS on me. >> I done put my hands on you. Back up. >> Get out of here now. Back up now. Back up. Get out now. >> Back up. GET OUT. YOU'RE GOING TO BE UNDER ARREST, TOO. >> Turn around. Turn off the chance. You know what? >> Taser. Taser. Taser. Taser. >> Get back. You're going to get too. >> Taser deployment. >> Sit down. >> For what? [screaming] >> GET OUT. >> WHY IS BOTHERING YOU? >> TURN AROUND. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. >> I got the coffee. >> All right. >> You crazy. >> Do nothing. I ain't did nothing. >> You are under arrest. >> Did nothing. >> I just come from a funeral. >> You sitting up here. >> You [ __ ] >> Ain't nobody [ __ ] >> Ain't nobody >> You are under arrest for what? >> For obstructing. I've said it a 100 times now. >> AM I OBSTRUCTING? >> YOU [ __ ] ain't right. >> Yeah. Well, too bad. >> Yeah. >> You [ __ ] ain't right. >> Hurry up. Get your daddy down on the ground. They trying to arrest me for nothing. >> Get my jewelry off. >> After taking care of the husband, the cop then moved on to arrest the one who caused this whole mess. >> Get my jewelry up. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> For what? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Behind your back. >> I've explained it to you. >> Sir, stop. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Under arrest. >> Why are you doing that to me? >> Just listen. Just listen. Stop doing this to me. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Hey, ma'am. Ma'am, >> that gun. >> Just put your hands behind me. That's fine. >> WHERE'S THE GUN? >> WHAT GUN? >> YOU JUST SAID YOU HAVE A GUN. >> I ain't SAYING [ __ ] >> I CANNOT SAY NOTHING ABOUT THAT. YOU'RE TIGHT. I AIN'T SAYING NOTHING ABOUT STOP PULLING AWAY. >> I ain't saying nothing. WHY YOU BOTHERING ME? >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED AS WELL. >> FOR WHAT? >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. FOR WHAT? >> CUZ YOU RESISTED. PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> My hands BEHIND MY BACK. >> WHAT Y'ALL WANT ME TO DO? >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. THAT'S ALL THEY'RE ASKING. >> STOP DOING THAT. >> That's all they're asking. >> I ain't nothing. >> I ain't nothing >> cuz I'm going to move the PART TO ANOTHER PART FOR Y'ALL. ON MY HANDICAP STICKER. >> Could y'all get this on my hands? >> With all that being done, the cops then moved them both to the squad car. >> Where's your squad? >> Anything >> thing on you that's going to stick me? Poke me. You can walk right in front of the squad right here. >> I don't have nothing. >> Okay. Face the squad. Okay. You don't have anything on you? >> I got blood on me. >> Where do you have Where do you have blood? >> On my head. >> All right. Well, that's interesting. >> It's very interesting. I'm trying to get home to change myself. That's all I'm trying to do. Sitting here to CHANGE MYSELF. TRYING TO GET HOME TO CHANGE MYSELF. >> All right. We can go over here. >> For what? >> Uh, you're being placed in the back of the squad card so we can figure out what's going on. up over on the uh >> uh side. >> Just watch your head. Step him over there. >> I ain't do nothing. I'm gonna move to another park from the man. >> All right. Do you want me to double lock them? >> Y'all took my phone and everything. >> Hey, can you can you just step out so I can double lock them so they don't cinch up on you in the car? >> What you mean? >> The handcuffs. I got to double lock them >> so they don't get tighter on >> Yeah. So they don't get tighter on you. >> So I got to just adjust the fit so they're not too tight on you. All right. This bogus is hell. I ain't doing nothing. We been trying to move to the next part over. Y'all broke my husband's chain and everything. Y'all bogus as hell. >> We did what? >> Y'all broke his chain and everything. Y'all vocals. Ain't nobody done nothing. >> Some of us just showed up so we don't even know what was going on. >> I ain't done nothing. I ain't done nothing. I'm sitting in my car. My husband come out and y'all do all of this. I'mma move to out the parking spot. Let me get out the parking spot. It's a problem. Let me get out the parking spot. >> You shouldn't park at a handicap spot then. Why can't I if I'm handicapped? >> Are you handicapped? >> Yes, I am. Do >> you have a >> Yes, I am. Especially when you're a dumb teen stumbling out of a strip club wreaking of alcohol. I love it. She then steps out of this car for a sobriety test. >> How bad is your vision? Like are you able to >> I mean I can see but you know it's I'm sorry I'm chilling but I'm going to just walk in a straight line and I'll be good. >> Well that's that's not even I haven't even told you the exercise that I'm doing yet. So you got to >> I'm cold. >> Okay. I mean just give me 10 minutes of your time. >> Okay. Okay. >> Fine. >> Yes. I told a straight line. What are you going to do? Copy from >> Hold on. I didn't tell you that's what we're going to do yet. >> I know but I know how the place is. >> Okay. Well, let me do what I'm going to do and then we go from there. Okay. So, like I said, you said you don't wear any contacts. Is your vision >> I do I wear contact? >> I mean, I'm sorry. You said you wear contacts, but is your is your vision >> It's bad. >> Bad. It's bad. >> But I can >> Are you able to see my finger from this from this? >> It's like a little >> Is it blurry? >> Blurry? Yeah. >> Another wonderful mess on the road. She said her vision was pretty bad. Can't even see the cop's finger. It's pretty blurry. And this person is driving at night without any kind of glasses or contacts. Just a recipe for disaster. >> So, you're going to hold it parallel to the ground and keep it straight when your arms by your side. >> Sweet. It seems like >> No. You see how my foot is above the ground? >> Okay. >> 6 in above the ground. >> Okay. You're going to count 10,00 1,002 1,00 3,004 until I tell you to stop. Okay. >> 1,00 1,002. >> Hands by your side. >> And you got to look at your foot. >> I got what? You got to look at your foot. Hands by your side. >> Look at my foot and count. >> Yes. >> Okay. Ready? >> Yes. >> 1,00 1,002 100 34 1006 1007 1008 1009 1 123 1 14 Bro, come on. 2015 1 1789 1201. Come on. This is ridiculous. >> After a long string of sobriety tests, she did finally make it through only to fail every single one. Naturally, the only thing left was to be placed under arrest. >> Okay, you can stop. >> Come on. >> Really? So after being placed under arrest, she just casually drops a bombshell saying there's a gun in the vehicle. So the cops following procedure suggested calling in a female cop to search her. But in a twist no one asked for. She wanted them to search her instead. >> Female officers around. >> I'm good, bro. Check me. I don't care. >> I'm giving authorization to you. >> I've been in the legal field. I'm I'm going I'm going to school. Um I got to repair a legal license. I don't know. That's awesome. Yes. So y'all can check me. Yes. I want to get my own office. So check me, please. I'm giving you authorization. >> There's plenty of female officers. So >> but I don't want to wait for that. I just want to go. >> I'll be home. >> How do um how do I call my phone? >> [ __ ] I've been in the legal field. That's just stuff. >> Okay. Well, we're just going to call another >> But because you are male, you can't search me. >> We're not going to search you. >> Why not? I give you authorization, too. >> Well, I'm not going to do that. So, >> well, I like men. Come on, just search me. >> What's up? What's your boyfriend? >> Please come pick up the car. That's a rental. >> The car is going to get towed. Unfortunately, >> I got to pay rent on the first, bro. >> Completely out of options, she started hitting on the cops. Legally, they're not allowed to check her unless there's a female cop present. But she's practically insisting they do. And each time they shut her down, she only gets more desperate. Maybe thinking they'll just give in and let her go. But of course, things don't work that way. >> You don't have a jacket? I don't have a jacket. So, we already went through this. I'll turn I'll turn up the heat whenever you get back in my car. >> Wow, that just sounds very romantic. I just want to go. >> I'm not going to argue with you, >> bro. Y'all can't just search me. >> I said y'all can, >> bro. I go to school for this [ __ ] Why can't y'all search me? >> I'm I'm a parillegal right now and I'm going to school for law and y'all [ __ ] my [ __ ] up right now. >> I mean, we didn't do anything. So, >> but because I couldn't say 1,10 like come on. >> No, it was a combination of all those exercises. >> I'm cold. I'm shaking. You see me shaking right now. It's not because I'm nervous. I'm not nervous at all. >> She was charged with DUI. After court, they gave her 9 months of probation. >> I'm going to tell you right now. I need your license, registration, and proof of insurance. I will. You can't. Don't. Don't. >> License, registration, and proof of insurance. You're going to jail. We're done. We're done. We're done. What's happening over here? >> You're you're getting stopped. >> Location. >> You still can't make that left turn. >> How am I going to get to the school? >> That's if operating hours. >> It's still there. >> Start. >> Okay. How are you going to get to the school? >> Drive down and make a U-turn. >> I understand. If it's hours of operation, but I just need to get to the school to drop off my daughter. I'm late. So, if I was cutting it into traffic, that makes sense. >> That makes you stillense. >> Okay. So, >> no, we're not doing that. I didn't commit a crime. >> Okay. >> I did not commit a crime. >> This is what you're going to you're going to let her go to the school. >> Yes, I am. But I did not commit a crime. >> And then as soon as you're done with that, I need your license, registration, and proof of insurance. >> So, either you So, I literally told you you made that left-hand turn where there's a >> Listen, let me explain something to you, right? >> Okay. >> So, once you drop the kids off in the school, if you refuse to give that to me, you're going to take the ride today. >> Yeah. You're going to put me in jail. >> You're going to go to jail. Crime. I'm telling you right now cameras. >> So, I need your license, registration, and proof of insurance. >> Okay. >> We've been together. We We know each other. >> We know each other. You know who I am. >> I have no idea who you are. >> Yeah, you are. You do. >> Can you start off Alpha 20 this way? >> You going to call supervisor? So, I'm going to tell I'm going talk to the principal right now, too. >> What the heck is the principal going to do? Put the cop in a timeout. Also, what's with the attitude? Pretty sure the officer was just going to give her a ticket if she knew how to behave. sadly looking like you're too entitled to listen to anyone. Now, once she gives her kid to the school, she will be placed under arrest. >> So, like I said, I need your license. >> So, like I said, I need your license, registration, and proof of insurance. >> What did I do? >> This is the last time I'm going to ask you. >> Let me know. You can call the supervisor. What did I do? >> So, I'm going to tell you right now. I need your license, registration, and proof of insurance. >> Come. I will. You can't. Don't. Don't. >> License, registration, and proof of insurance. You're going to jail. We're done. We're done. We're done. We're done. No. No. We're done. We're done. We're done. Stop. We're done. That's not going to stop anything. >> He's putting me in jail. >> Yes. >> Literally for dropping off my daughter in school. Can you please please follow me? >> The principal can't stop anything that I'm doing. >> They're not saying I didn't even do nothing. >> We're done. >> Don't take me. Face the car. >> Listen to me. >> Face the car, >> please. >> Nope. We're done. >> Lady, you got no one to blame but yourself. Things would have gone a lot easier if you just cooperated. Well, it's too late for a second chance now. >> You didn't take the ride today. >> Listen. >> Nope. >> Listen to me. I've never been to Listen. >> That's fine. Today. >> Listen. >> We're done. >> Listen to me. >> Nope. There's no listen my life right now if you do this. Please listen. >> And my kids. >> Listen, Garner is being so mean to me right now. He asked me for my license registration and and I was going to go get he just grabbed me. >> Okay, ma'am. Let me ask you this. Um >> I never when he initiated the traffic stop, did he ask you for your documentation? No, he didn't. I later did. He did. >> Okay. >> And I said, "Let's >> So, when he initiated the traffic stop and you exited the vehicle, >> I went to take my kid." >> Okay. Did he ask you for or did he advise you of a traffic stop? Okay. >> No, he didn't tell me. It was the reason he stopped me. >> Okay. Did he advise you there was a traffic stop? >> It was It No, he said license and registration. He got out. >> Okay. So, he got out of the vehicle. >> He got out and he asked for license, registration, and insurance >> in after when I started walking away. >> Yes. >> Okay. And then you said what? Listen, I said I'm going to drop off my kid. I didn't commit an because that left turn it doesn't say doesn't when there's no blinking lights. I just spoke to the assistant principal and they said that doesn't that right >> doesn't say that >> it but that's what I'm saying. That's why >> it says no left turn >> but I didn't >> you can take my listen okay listen I understand everything you're going but >> I'm about to I got hired for the city of the Atlanta. He said he doesn't remember. Okay. >> Okay. >> He's a little mean. Okay. He is. So, I'm sorry that I was a little mean to you because you've been mean to me earlier. >> Do you understand that we we interact with a lot of people every single day? So we don't mean to me and I said good morning to you and you were mean to me and I actually cute and I was being nice. >> Ma'am >> girl, quit the victim act. You're being professional. >> Let me let me ask you this. Um he initiated his lights. >> Um you got out of the you got out of the car to drop off your child. He got out of the vehicle, asked for your license, registration, and insurance. You said you were dropping off your child >> and what what crime did I commit? And then he seemed to tell me nothing. >> All right. So, when you came back, did he ask you for your license, registration, and insurance? >> Yes. And then I was like, can I get a supervisor? And I was really going to give it to him. At the end of the day, I was walking. If you look at the camera, >> let me let me explain something to you. All right. Let me let me let me just be honest with you. All right. That's not how this works. All right? >> When anyone when any law enforcement officer initiates their lights, that is a traffic stop. That is a legal detention. You don't have a legal right to walk away. >> All right. So, him letting you >> escort your child into the school, >> that was a courtesy that he didn't have to do. >> He could have hooked you up right then and there. >> You're right. >> All right. Secondly, secondly, >> when my law enforcement officers ask you for license, registration, and insurance, >> you are legally obligated to provide that. If you fail to do that at any point in time, you are failing to identify yourself on a legal detention and you will be arrested. >> Thank you. >> You can be arrested. >> Okay. >> So, when my deputy asked you for your information >> on more than one occasion and you failed to do that? >> No, I was I swear look at the camera. I'm sorry. >> Can I apologize? >> Inside. >> Can you please step in the vehicle? >> Uh, my feet. >> I'm sorry. Okay. >> After securing this woman inside the car, the supervisor watched the responding officer's body cam footage to determine the next action. >> So, I literally told you you made that left hand turn. Listen, let me explain something to you, right? >> Okay. So, once you dropped the kids off in the school, you're >> So, literally, as you're getting out of the car, you told her that this is a traffic stop. >> You know, you advised her the reason of the stop >> and she started arguing right off the bat. >> I've seen enough. >> Um, I watched the video. I was >> so video. >> Stop. Stop. All right. I watched the video. >> All right. On three separate occasions, my deputy asked you for your license, registration, and insurance. And on three separate occasions, you decide No, you decided to argue with him. You're right. All right. I watched the video. >> You're right. You're right. You're right. Listen, you are right. >> And then on the third time, right before he took you into custody, he asked for it >> and I was >> And you told him no. >> I did it. Yeah, you told him no and to call for a supervisor and then you started walking towards your car. >> So, >> based on what I saw in the video, >> please don't. Please, I >> You are being arrested. >> Listen, >> is there someone that we can call to come collect the the vehicle and the dog or at least the dog? I will be more than happy to have to move that vehicle into a parking spot, but as of right now, >> listen, >> no, we're we're we're not going to sit here and argue with you. >> Listen, I'm I'm not arguing. I'm apologizing. That's what I'm doing. >> Okay. >> So, is there somebody that we can call? >> Okay. Is it somebody? I need somebody that can come collect the dog at the very least. >> If it's on my phone. >> Is it in the vehicle? >> Yeah. >> All right. You got her phone. >> I'm going to type this. It's a little tight. >> All right. Face that way. >> I don't want to lose my face that way, please. face that way. All right. [snorts] You should have thought of that before you decided to argue with my deputy about a traffic stop. This would have been a simple ticket had you help. I don't have nobody for my kids. Please, guys. And my kids, please. Gardner, listen to me. Look at me. Gardner, I'm sorry. point today. >> Listen, I understand that. But no matter what, I still want to apologize, okay? I had a little grudge at home. >> That one's good. >> Who's baby mama? >> I don't. >> Okay. What's her name? >> Stephanie. >> Hey, Stephanie. >> Is there anything else I can assist you with today? Sorry, she's on the phone. >> Will you guys do this? >> Sorry, >> Stephanie. >> You got anything on you that's going to stick to me? >> No. Turn off. >> Hey, Stephanie. This is uh Sergeant Dino at the sheriff's office. >> Come here. Um >> is currently uh being arrested. Um, and we have >> she has the dog in park. [snorts] >> Is there any way that you can come and at least at the very least collect the the dog? >> What is she being arrested for? >> For failure to identify. >> Failure to identify like herself. >> Yeah, she was on a traffic stop. She failed to provide her her documentation on a legal traffic stop. So, um, she's going to be arrested. Um, >> anything else on your in the jails? >> The actual chucked up in. Yeah. Just let them know before you get out there. >> You don't look like you have any chuck, but it's a >> daughter in school. >> Okay. >> Yeah, the the the child's in school. Yeah. >> It's when I made the left turn. I didn't even know that was a a a traffic stop. So, I >> Okay. >> Oh my god. >> So, >> in the end, she's charged with resisting without violence. She's also cited for her traffic infraction. It doesn't. Why are you coming over here? >> Stop. You stop her. You're going to get a pit on the ground. >> You're going to get a resistance charge. I saw something in her pocket. As she's talking to me, she's trying to shove it in her ass. >> It's December 6th, 2024. Florida of all places.
