But, these Karens come to Hooters in search of drama, and drama is exactly what they get. Welcome to Police X 10, where attitude meets authority. Here are some times when the dumbest Karens got arrested at Hooters. Starting off with this lovely lady who's at Hooters getting arrested for car theft. >> I think I'm here eating. I'm pregnant as hell, then you come grabbing me and [ __ ] That's what I'm trying to tell you. I just got done eating. Why do you think my fat ass came all the way out here to get some food? >> On September 8th, 2024, cops respond to a 911 call claiming that they were tracking their stolen car to a Hooters parking lot. Here we go. >> He's out here for me. >> Is there Is there a manager you can talk to? >> Oh, y'all are the manager? Oh, you guys are never a good sign. >> That's not always true. Maybe not a good sign when you're around, but >> What? Check my record. I've been good. It can't be for me. >> [laughter] >> As long as I'm not driving my >> You're the manager? I I We're requesting access to your guys' cameras to see if that somebody came out of that vehicle over there. >> Which vehicle? >> The silver Equinox. It's reported as stolen. >> Can I ask what's going on? >> Uh think stolen car. >> Who stole a car? >> No, somebody stole a car. But, trying to see who it is. >> Oh, that car is stolen? >> Mhm. >> Oh. >> And they're watching the car. >> Is there anybody in it? >> Nope. Uh me and the guy here is calling our regional manager to look at cameras. You don't think so? >> It is. I don't know if they did it. It was not here when I pulled up if that makes a difference. So, it has It has to be somebody who >> Uh the owner of the >> [clears throat] >> uh vehicle said it was here. They have it on like GPS tracking or whatever. >> I didn't do that with my car. >> How do you do? >> Hi. I wonder I wish somebody would try to steal my car. It's a little car, too. >> It's so cute. >> It's so cute. >> Hey, they're not here. >> They're not here, so we're good. >> [laughter] >> Not yet. >> I will be once you If you don't take that 49ers hat off. >> Like parking it there is crazy. There are cameras [clears throat] on the >> The cops are putting a stolen vehicle in your parking lot. We're just trying to see if you guys have any cameras that will see out there. >> vehicle? Oh, thank god it wasn't mine this time. Parking it in the broad daylight. And they reverse parked it, too. >> I don't know, the cop could have been a little more slick about this than just asking waitresses who are going to gossip all loudly about this and probably alert the suspect, but I don't know. A bit later, the cop spotted some suspicious people and immediately took action. Now, there's a brief period without audio, but the officer says that they saw a lot of people exiting this car, and the woman was the last one they detained as they were initially unsure of her direct involvement. >> Y'all have no key on me or >> Okay. They already watched the video. >> What do you mean they already watched the video? >> the video. We saw you coming out of the car. >> Have a seat, please. >> That's why that's why we're here. >> Go and have a seat. >> That don't have to do with me. >> Have a seat. >> What >> You're under arrest. >> What am I having a seat for though? Y'all >> Because you're under arrest. Either have a seat or I'm going to put you in the car. >> Hey, go sit down. >> Why why has you been so mean like >> Because you're not listening to direction. >> I'm just telling you I didn't do anything. >> Okay. >> That's all I'm saying. >> But you made matters worse by tensing up on me. >> I didn't tense up on you. I just asked you what was going on. I didn't know what was going on. >> Have a seat in there, please. Have a seat. >> And then you go up through my stuff. You didn't even ask me to go through my stuff. >> for an ID. >> You cannot go through no female stuff. >> We're looking for an ID. >> You cannot go through no female ID no purse. >> Have a seat. Mhm. Have a seat. >> What that have to do with anything? >> Slide your feet in the car. That's all I'm waiting for here. So, that's it. Slide right in. Hey, so you're under arrest. Go and slide your feet in, okay? >> Okay, can I get my stuff? Y'all just hold >> We have it. >> Okay, let me I want to hold my own stuff. >> No, you're not allowed to hold it. >> What do you mean I'm not allowed to hold my stuff? >> Your stuff is going to stay with you, but have a seat. Bring your feet in. We're going to close the door, okay? You're under arrest. >> What am I under arrest for? >> Interference with official act. >> And it may be in more with the with the >> what? >> Interference with official act. That means you were not listening to a lawful order that I was giving to you. >> What do you mean interfere? I don't know you I you didn't say you read my rights and nothing. You just came up and start grabbing me. You just grabbed all of us and put us on the ground. >> We're going to close the door. Slide your feet in, and we'll we'll let you know what's going on from here, okay? >> What do you mean what's going on, G? >> Hey. This is the last time we're going to ask you. >> Can I talk to somebody else? You're being so mean to me. You're not even telling me nothing. Can I talk I'd rather talk to >> you straight up. >> Okay, can I talk to you? I come on that side and talk to him. >> No. Sit down and you can come over here. >> I'll close the door and I'll talk to you through the door or the window. >> Through the door or the window? I know I want to talk to No, I want to talk to I want to know what the [ __ ] is going on exactly. >> He's going to talk to you. Just sit down. >> Close your door and I'll talk to you. >> I know I'm on no [ __ ] or nothing. >> You have to sit all the way in. >> And I'm sorry for making you feel like I'm on some [ __ ] I'm just I want to understand what the [ __ ] is going on. I don't want you to feel We got to close the door. >> Last time. >> Thank you. Awesome. >> Okay, can you tell me what's going on? >> I'm going to roll the window down. >> Why you got to roll the window Why you can't just tell me what's going on right now? >> I'm not going to do that. It was already tough to get you inside of the >> What did the video show on? >> For a criminal, the entitlement is pretty strong. The cops then explain the reason for this arrest. >> Excuse me. Can you tell me what's going on now? >> So, that vehicle out front, the Cadillac, is stolen. I'm normal Illinois. Okay. >> What do you mean it's stolen? >> It's reported stolen. >> How was it stolen? >> The owner reported it stolen. >> When did the owner report the car stolen? >> Um that I I don't know, but they reported stolen and then their tracker, the company called us and said, "Hey, this car that's reported stolen is tracking to Hooters lot." So, then we come up here and we find up here we find the parking lot. Then we go inside and say, "Hey, can you pull up cameras to see who might have gotten out of this?" You three came came in and got out and walked into Hooters from that car. So, that's why you're detained. And there may be charges, but when we ask you to do something like, "Hey, you got to come over here." You can't >> Why are you talking to me like this? You didn't even tell me what was going on in the first place. That's what I was asking you, what was going on. >> Because we're just asking you something simple and you're like, "No, I'm not I'm not I'm not part of this." Well, you are. The video shows you you and the >> know what y'all was talking about. I thought y'all was messing my bad at Hooters. I'm like, "What is y'all talking about?" >> You were inside Hooters eating. >> That's what I thought y'all was talking about. >> So, um >> I don't know nobody no I don't >> I'm not going to ask you questions about the car until I read your Miranda. You were correct in that. The only things I am going to ask is just to confirm your information, which we can do prior to Miranda, um just cuz I'm not identifying. So, I got your ID. Is your address Is your Is your address still Illinois? >> He took my debit card. >> Are you Marcus Fleming? >> That's It says Superstar Kashmere. That's my husband My ex-husband. >> Okay. That's his debit card. >> That's my debit card. It says Superstar Kashmere. That's my my husband's car. Like, what the >> Denisha, what's your um address? >> The officers read her her rights before questioning. >> Having these rights in mind, do you Would you like to talk to me? >> Okay. Um the car is my uh mother's car. She gave me the car. But, I don't That's what I'm saying. I don't know how it was reported stolen. Like, she ain't called my phone and said nothing. Everything was fine. That's what I'm saying. I don't know That's why I was confused on what was going on. Obviously, if I knew this was going on, would you think I'd be like You feel what I'm saying? >> So, it's your mom's car. Uh maybe a misunderstanding. When did you When did you >> If I call her right now, she's going to say she don't want to report the car stolen, and she's going to drop She's going to drop the charges. Especially when you said that you were in Iowa. And she don't She's not going to want to come get her car from no >> When did you pick up her car? Or when did you leave with >> She gave She gave me the car um she gave me the car uh yesterday. She gave me the car yesterday to go to Best Buy. I got the receipt from Best Buy. I still >> Is that normal? Like, I'm just >> Yes. She gave me She gave me permission to get her car and she told me I can go to Best Buy. >> So, you had it since yesterday? >> Yeah, she gave it to me yesterday. >> Like, you Did you take it to your home last night or >> I went I went to a friend's house and I spent the night. >> Okay. And then what brought you to Avenue Court? >> I came to get some orders cuz she didn't call my phone. That's what I'm saying. I don't know how she called and did that, but she didn't call me at all. My I don't know what I was trying to say. My momma have a bipolar disorder. Okay. And she be drinking. When I left her When I left her, she was drunk when I left her. >> Who were the other two guys with you? >> Those are just my friends. >> Okay. >> They don't have nothing to do with nothing. >> Why did they have the keys, though? Were they one of them driving or >> I don't have They They I mean, all of us We We got to have We got to all be in the car, like >> So, they're going to call the cops. >> the boy, the tall boy, he was driving. But, >> If that's the case, then why would Why'd did take off out the back? >> We didn't know what was going on. They said something about the police and hoodlums and I'm like, "What the [ __ ] is going on?" We don't even We have no We We were just don't have no time for no racist [ __ ] We thought it was something with some hoodlums with hoodlums. >> That doesn't make sense. If If you truly were like, "I borrowed mom's car." and you you had no clue why we were even here, why would you Why would an average person get up from their table mid-dinner and say, "Let's go." and not and let's go? >> me that. Of course you're going to ask me that, but I'm black and that's just how I That's just how I'm just I just see a whole bunch of white people and I'm just like, "What the [ __ ] is going on?" I'm That's how I felt, though. >> You're eating your dinner, you saw cops come in and say, "They're after us. Let's go out the back door quick." >> I was I was walking up to call my mom. That's what I was doing. When you see the phone in my hand you >> But why not just do it from the table and just say >> Cuz we didn't know exactly what was going on until we came outside and they were just like >> Why would you call your mom? >> Because Well, why wouldn't I call my mom? >> But why would you call You didn't even know why we were here. We >> Look, this not This not the first time this She did this before. That's why I'm saying I told you my mom have bipolar disorder. This not the first time she did this. The last time she did this and you can call you can call Skokie yourself. The last time she did this um I was I had her car and I was in Skokie. Yeah, I was I'm a I'm a rapper. I was That's why I said the the ID say superstar Cashmere on ID. I'm a rapper. So, I was at the studio in Skokie and she did the same thing and then when the police officer um when they when they when they found out it was me who had the car in the parking lot, they called my mom and they was and she told them like, "Um just give her the car. I don't want to report the car stolen." And they just gave me the car cuz she didn't want to come get her car from Skokie. She does this. I I swear to God my right hand to God. I swear to God I can die right now. My mom does this [ __ ] all the time. The car is not stolen. >> Wouldn't it be easier just to If you knew we were looking at your car to say, "Hey, I I took the car my mom and I went just then we could just talk rather than like this big take down looks like you're trying to throw out the back door. >> I I was just seeing a whole bunch of white people and I was scared. I I don't I don't even know what to say. I just wanted to call my mom first and make sure what was going on before I get to talk to all y'all and I don't know what's going on. I was just scared. That's what all that was. I was trying to walk off so I could call my mom and see exactly what was going on. That's all that was. I wasn't trying to walk off and then when I figured out what was going on You see I didn't walk too far. I was trying to call I was on the phone with y'all when y'all walked up to me. I was on the phone. I had the phone to my ear. I was on the phone cuz I was trying to call my mom to see what exactly what was going on. Cuz she do this all the time. >> Okay, so she said that her mother suffers from like bipolar disorder. She drinks a lot and has a pattern apparently of falsely reporting vehicle stolen when upset. Okay, blame everything on your mom. But then she tried making excuses for resisting arrest. >> Okay. Hey, so let me tell you one thing, okay? So when a when a police officer comes up to you and says you were being detained as a part of an investigation and I'm trying to place handcuffs on you it's not a right time to start tensing up on me, okay? That's why I took you to the ground. >> And then I do have a my wrist is dis- I dislocated my wrist, too. >> Okay. >> That's why I was like hol- like hold on while I could like >> Yes, but you were starting you were starting to tense up on me, so therefore I had to I had to put you on the ground. >> I'm not I mean I ain't tripping about that. I I understand cuz I we both didn't know what was going on. I didn't know what was going on. I ain't even I'm not even mad about you dropping on the ground cuz I ain't know what was going on. I'm like could you just can you all just tell me like what's going on? It's like talk to me. Like tell me first. >> So we're going to figure out some things, um I think my sergeant's going to talk to your mom real quick, see what she wants done. Uh we're going to talk to the other normal police department and see see what they want done as well. Uh but right now you're at least going to jail for interference right now. Cuz you interfered with my investigation and my ability to put handcuffs on you. >> That's why I apologize cuz I didn't know what we what you were doing. I didn't know what was going on. >> You're still going to jail for that. >> That's We can't just be at the I don't I don't know what was going on. I'm telling you I was on the phone with my mom. I wasn't interfering or nothing. I was literally trying to call my mom. That's my right hand. I got to show you. >> but you still interfered with it. Whether you know it or not that or not, it's still interference with official acts. I can charge you. >> How did I interfere when I let you put the handcuffs on me? >> did not. I had to fight you for that. >> No, my hands were still behind my back. I don't >> No, but you >> It was both First of all, it was two of y'all grabbing me at the same time. So it's like he grabbing my arm. >> I'm not going to sit here and argue with with you, but when you landed on your right hand and arm, you continued to tense up on me and I had to pull your arm back. >> I wasn't tensing up on you. That's what I'm trying to tell you. He was your >> We can sit here and argue about it all night, but I'm not going to do it. So, you're going to jail regardless, okay? >> So, you like you really going to charge me for I don't >> I am going to charge you for it. Yep. >> And I'm apologizing to you and I I'm telling you I don't I don't know what to do. >> I mean it does wonder. I guess it it's great, but it's not getting you out of jail. >> I didn't try to tense up with you. >> Yes, you Okay. >> You keep saying it. >> Okay? >> Let's go home. Let's go home. So, you charging me >> I am, yes. >> What are you charging me with? >> Interference with official acts. >> Okay, what is that? >> It is a simple misdemeanor. >> A misdemeanor? >> Yep. >> So, I'm going to jail and I'm going to have to sit in jail? >> Yep. Unless you can bond out. >> What you mean unless I can bond out? You really going to like I did not tense up with you. >> Yes, you Yes, you did. >> I'm telling you I didn't. Like I I was trying to trying to tell you I'm I'm pregnant and you was getting That's all I was trying to tell you. I was all I was trying to tell you was I was pregnant. I didn't give a chance to because you just started grabbing my arm and then your friend started grabbing my other arm. You had one arm and he had other arm. >> Okay. You are still going to jail. >> I think I'm here eating. I'm pregnant as hell and then you come grabbing me and [ __ ] That's what I'm trying to trying to tell you. I just got done eating. I think my friend has came all the way out here to get some food. That's all I was trying to say. I should probably should be going to the hospital. >> You need medical attention? >> I don't know. You didn't show me or ask me. You didn't care. You just want to give me a ticket and then take me to jail. Now Now you want to ask me cuz I'm saying something. >> Do you need medical >> you're being mean. >> I'm not being mean. >> You're being mean to a pregnant girl. I ain't did nothing wrong. >> I have a question, Felicia. >> Huh? >> Do you need medical attention? >> I don't I don't know cuz I don't know. what to don't know what to say cuz I'm not trying to be I don't want to be stuck out here somewhere I don't know about and going to jail and stuff. I don't know nothing about this. This is my first time ever being out here in my life. >> Well, you tell me, do you need medical attention? If so, I will so I will call an ambulance out here. They will They will check you out. >> You got all of my Can I have my items? I thought you was going to get my items when I get >> They're in here. You can't have them back there. >> Why can't I hold my stuff? >> Cuz you can't. >> I don't want to go to jail for nothing, a misunderstanding. >> Do you need medical attention right now? >> Can I speak to a Can I speak to speak to a sergeant or something? >> You're talking to my sergeant. >> Well, can you tell him to come back right quick, please? >> He's coming back. >> All right, can you tell him to come back right now cuz this is crazy. Like it was a misunderstanding and I'm pregnant. >> Do you need medical attention? >> I don't know. I'm I don't know, but I'm I'm going to my I'm I can feel my heart starting to beat fast cuz I I don't want to go to jail. I I ain't never been to jail. I can't be in jail pregnant. Like can you call your sergeant back over here? >> Do you need medical attention? >> Can you please just call your sergeant? Like >> I will go over there, but I'm not calling him over here. >> Okay, please. Thank you. >> medical attention, yes or no? >> I don't even know what to say to you. >> This woman is charged with theft and interference with official act causing bodily injury. In court, the theft charge was dropped and she pled guilty to the remaining charge. We move on to this case now where this entitled couple got a big surprise at Hooters. >> Are you going to pay your tab? >> Who would say that? No, I would not say that. >> Well, this gentleman here and then my boss has walked away over here. >> No, I didn't say that. >> Yeah, they tried to write something Do you remember what happened exactly? >> I have them on the table right now. They did say that they did like We're pregnant. >> And they did say that they did >> Like like like listen to me. >> He's over there. I don't know. Yeah, he's over there. Is anyone left? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, he's over there and she's right here. >> I'm right here. I didn't [ __ ] do [ __ ] >> I don't know if anybody paid your bill. >> I didn't do [ __ ] >> I I him call his brother to try to come pay and you guys try to run out on your tab. >> I didn't do [ __ ] >> You You drank the the beer, right? You ate the food and drank the beer, right? So, you did do something. Go sit down. Have a seat. >> No, we walked out with him. >> I let my gambling partner He lost his money in there. And I let him try to call his brother to try to bring his debit card so he could pay the bill. And they hung out there for a minute and they tried to run out the door. I caught him. >> Yeah, baby. Didn't you say he comes here all the time? Dude. >> He came over here. >> Dude. >> He came here Saturday night to pick him up. >> And it's my fault? That I had >> It is your fault. I did not know that. >> Well, that sounds like your fault. >> Even if the man said he was going to pay for the meal, she should have had some kind of money with her, right? I don't know. But, since both of them are pretty broke, it looks like this may have been planned. >> We're so impulsive. I'm going to take you out and take you to dinner. I'm going to get arrested for that? >> You are. You didn't have any money. >> Where's he at? Where is he at? Where is he at? >> He's far. He's saying He's saying that he's going to pay it. I saw him I saw him attacking him and that's why I went after him and that's when he turned around and punched me. And that's when he hit me like you know, I was just like okay cuz I I did hit him because I was trying to get him off and I I did hit him when I was trying to get him off. >> get it. Do you want to press charges on him for that? >> I do. Yes. Yes. >> Okay. Just be patient and I'll take your statement phone number and everything. I got her info and her phone number. He said he's your brother? >> He's like a brother to me. Well, his son is my godson. >> a good friend. >> A good friend. Yes. Yeah. >> Now, reason why I cuffed him up, he had no reason to sucker punch the guy after I had him by the arm and he was trying to get him out. So, because he has no reason after I had separated them. He had no reason to come up and kick him in the face in front of me. Okay? He should not have snuck did that sucker punch him. >> Yeah. >> So, he's going to get your info. Somebody going to get your statement, okay? >> Okay. >> I'll get a statement. Everything you're about to give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. >> Yes. >> Okay, so go ahead and tell me what what happened. >> Okay, so um we had an issue with a table. One of the members at the table did not have an ID um when asked for an ID for an alcoholic beverage. Um when we seen him still drinking an alcoholic beverage at the table, we asked him, "I'm sorry, you can't drink if you don't have your ID. We're going to have to ask you to um if you do it again, we're going to have to ask you to leave." >> Right. >> We see him do it again, and then we have to obviously say, "I'm sorry, you have to leave. The whole table, you guys need to cash out. You guys have to go. You're breaking the rules, yada yada." Um at that point, it escalated. Um the lady who was at the table in the yellow bathing suit stood up and just started screaming um in my manager's face. At that point, he said, "If you don't leave, I'm going to call cops." Kept on screaming. The whole table just kept and stayed where they were. He calls the cops, which if you guys have that phone call because he's on the phone with the operator, and she's just screaming in his face. So, and it's on video. Um She's pointing in his face, yada yada. At that point, he's on the phone with the police. Me and Vanessa are just standing there observing because there was a table of children sitting next to it. So, um I kindly went over to the table of children and said, "Would you guys like to move inside?" They wanted to move inside because of all the commotion. Um I look back, and the lady in the yellow bathing suit pushed Vanessa with her hands. Pushed her. Vanessa had stepped back. At that point, I got the table inside and went stood next to Vanessa. Um and it just escalated from there. I don't I wasn't facing the way of the other side of the patio where that all that happened. >> Uh-huh. >> But, I witnessed Vanessa getting absolutely >> Okay. And did you see Vanessa like um like aggressively was going towards her? Like how did that happen? >> She was politely just standing there saying, "Ma'am, you have to leave." >> bluntly just push her for no reason. >> She put her hands She put her hands and her hair flew back. Um Vanessa was just standing there asking her politely to leave. Even after Vanessa got pushed, she just stood there politely asking her that you have to leave. You just put your hands on me. Um and told Vanessa I said just let her stay because she put her hands on you. So, she stays, she's going to get arrested. So, pretty much that's it. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And then at that point, something happened down there. Everybody started fighting. So, I just got all the girls to run inside. I was like, "Everybody just get inside." >> In the end, the woman in the yellow bikini, who's the primary aggressor, was charged with simple battery, disorderly conduct, disorderly intoxication, and trespassing after warnings. So, that's there's that. >> No, because you kept on >> All right. Can we Can we just uncuff me and let's forget about it? >> I told you several times don't step to me. >> All right. It's all on camera. >> Yeah, it is cuz I have a body cam. >> Can we just forget about this? I'm sorry. I just want to go home. I just want to go home. >> After a while, the sergeant whom he requested arrived on scene. And let me tell you something. He's one heck of a mountain. >> The head honcho is right here, so. What's up? >> I'm in cuffs because up. I was here um let me pay for everything and I got kind of upset and your officer here took it upon himself though to uh you know, correct me in a certain different way and officer what? >> Officer what? >> would tell you that like I got corrected and I'm just trying to go home, sir. >> Okay, you told me absolutely nothing. Tell me what happened. Why am I here? >> I was in a I screwed up. >> What did you do? >> I um was un- caring about your officers and I want to just go home, sir. And I'm sorry for my stupidity. >> Okay, but you're still not telling me anything. I'm asking you a question and you're beating around the bush. What happened? Why why why are you in handcuffs right now? What did you do? >> Sir, will you tell him? >> He was asked to leave the property several times. >> Okay. >> Coming close to me, I tell him I told him, "Hey, back up. Back up." He didn't back up so I ended up uh putting my hand on his chest and pushing him away. >> He assaulted me. So >> Um at that point, I told him leave the property one more time. He didn't He didn't talk. >> Okay. >> That's not true, is it? >> I believe there's probably video inside that'll help us >> There is a lot of video and I'm and I'm trying to be nice to your officer here. >> I believe you weren't if you kept walking up on him. Okay, so what's going to happen right now is you were told to leave by uh the staff. You didn't leave. Okay? Listen Listen to me. This isn't a discussion. This isn't a discussion. I'm I'm explaining to you what's going on. Okay? So The you to leave, you didn't leave. Okay? What did I say? This isn't a discussion. Uh this isn't a discussion. Okay? And then when you were walking off with her, you got irritated because the other deputy was behind you, which is his job as backup. You stopped and you walked back towards him. Okay, at that point, you weren't leaving again. Okay? So, you are being arrested for trespass after warning. Do you understand that? Okay? And I'm going to review all body cam footage along with the restaurant just to make sure there's nothing more to it. >> Um I'm asking you, sir, like since you called the police here um I I promise you I was trying to leave. I promise you >> That's why we're going to get statements from the staff. Okay? Hold on. Because right at the get-go, just you not leaving when the employees here >> come back. >> Okay? >> I'll never come back. >> I don't I'm going to find out if do they want him trespassed or not. >> Yeah, yeah. Now they >> You you you you walked with me the whole way, all right? >> I did. So >> So, can you please can you >> I'm going to review body footage. I'm going to look at look at the other cameras, too, okay? Have you read him yet? >> He just stopped. >> I did it. >> I I promise you I was just trying to go home. >> We're already at that point. There's no There was I'm not backstepping. Okay? I told you you're going to jail for trespass after warning. I I We're already there. >> She she directed me everywhere >> We're already there. I'm just explaining to you. I'm trying to be cool with you, okay? And I'm going to like I said, I'm going to go back and look at all the videos to make sure there's nothing there that I need to address. >> Yeah, he's going to see all the video cameras. >> I talked to her. But the biggest thing is the staff asked you to leave, you didn't leave. She shows up, you start walking off, but then you get irritated cuz the other deputy Listen to me. Mouth shut. You start walking off, but then you get irritated by cuz the other deputy's behind doing his job. You stop and walk back towards him. That again is you not leaving the property. Okay? Sometimes just I'm going to look at it by the word of my deputies, that never happened. Other than when you walk up on me, I'm sorry, but you're not going to get close to me and yes, I will push you back. Okay? I got too much stuff on here that you can get a hold of that can cause harm to myself or others. Okay, so that's where we're at. So we're done with that discussion. We're going to put him back in your car. He's already been searched. >> No, I'm going to have >> Corporal, can you search him? I got him getting uh >> This man is charged with disorderly intoxication and criminal trespassing. It's May 26th, 2025. Cops get reports of a couple leaving multiple restaurants without paying their tab. Woo, fun times. Let's see what happens to them. >> I mean, they had been coming in and out all night. >> Okay. >> And they would both come out and they would smoke and they would go back in. And they would both come out and smoke and go back in. And then they ordered dessert and they both go to the bathroom. So them both getting up at the same time wasn't abnormal cuz they've been doing that all night. Then they ordered dessert and he came back, she walked out, he came back and sat down and then he left and then they were never to be seen again. >> So after they ordered dessert, that's when they just kept going back and forth? >> No, they went back and >> Throughout the whole day. Then to after they got dessert, that's when they both went >> She walked out, he came back from the bathroom, sat down for about 30 seconds and then dipped out as well. >> Well, this is loads of if you can give me the tab. >> Yeah, I'll go get it right now. >> Did they give any any type of name? >> Uh no, they were a walk-in right when we opened at 5:00. Um cuz normally we are primarily like as you can see, we're primarily reservation only. We have most of the people we have their name and phone number, but when they're a walk-in like that, we don't take their information. We just seat them. >> KCA 17 Luigis what they said. >> So they're two bottles. >> Yep. >> Florentine is >> This uh escargot is an appetizer. >> Appetizer is >> it. It's food, but they had two bottles of wine. >> Okay. All right. So, next question, would you like to press charges? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I went down to the brewery and I let her know that please let me know if this ratchet ass couple comes in here. She's got a white shirt on that says 1994 across the back and they just look like they crawled out of the gutter. >> Okay. >> Um but that's the only place that I could go and look. >> Okay, that's fine. I'll just do my investigation and I'll just go around a mile trying to see if they do pop up. >> Yeah. I mean, I know it's unlikely, but that's what the chef wanted me to do. >> You You never know. >> Yeah. >> After speaking with the restaurant, the cop then tracked down the suspected vehicle and pulled them over for a taillight infraction. >> Hi. Good. How are you? >> I'm better and better. Thank you. >> 61 and 3 cut four. Can I have your driver's license and registration, please? Cut four to the 86 marker. Thank you. Is that her driver's license or is that her ID? >> Yes. >> Okay, perfect. Where are you guys headed? >> Uh Fort Lauderdale. >> You have where? >> Fort Lauderdale. >> To Fort Lauderdale. Okay. Is this a rental vehicle? Okay. Do you have the renter's agreement for it? Yeah, your taillight's partially out back there. >> Oh. >> Yeah. It's okay. It happens. All right, give me 1 second, okay? Oh, jeez. Almost ran me over. Do you mind stepping out of the car for me, sir? We just want to talk to you real quick. All right, we're going to go right back there. Okay, woo. That's super bright. Um it's just really dark outside, so Uh we do want to talk to you, but in order for us to talk to you, we do have to read you something first. >> Okay. I'm not doing something wrong? >> We'll explain that to you in a minute. Let me just read it to you, okay? All right. So, before I ask you any questions, you must understand your rights. With these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me? Okay. All right. So, where are you from? >> You mean >> Where are you from? Are you from here? Are you from Florida? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. Where in Florida? >> In Boca. >> Boca? Okay. You live in Boca? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How long have you lived there? >> 2 and 1/2 years. >> 2 and 1/2 years? Okay. And who is she? >> She's my girlfriend. >> Your girlfriend? Okay. How long have you guys been together? >> 6 months and 3 >> 9 months. >> 1 second. >> 9 months. >> 9 months? Okay. >> As the man stepped out of the car, the officer began investigating the dine and dash situation. >> Did you guys do anything today? >> Just came in and out. >> Okay. >> Beach. >> Okay. >> You see I have some tan. >> Sunburn? >> Yeah. >> Did you have breakfast today? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Where did you go? >> Uh So, we had breakfast. >> We >> We stopped for like croissant. >> Okay. >> At the 21st Avenue Bakery. >> Okay. >> And then we went to the restaurant, I think. >> Okay. What was it called? Do you remember? >> No. >> No? Do you remember where it was? >> Somewhere here. >> Okay. So, maybe Marker 88? Sound familiar? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> We stopped at Marker 88. >> Okay. All right. Um what did you have at Marker 88 to eat? >> I don't remember. Some fish. Some tacos. >> Okay. And she ate too as well? >> I think so, yeah. >> You ate together? >> It makes sense, right? >> Yeah. Okay. And at any point in time did you fail to pay for your tab? >> Uh No, not really. >> Okay. So, you paid for your your tab? >> I think so, yeah. >> Okay. Did you pay cash? >> Yeah. >> You paid >> we left cash, yeah. >> You left cash? Okay. Did you pay with a card? >> No, I think we paid cash. >> Okay, cash. Which one of you paid? >> I paid cash. >> You paid cash? >> cash. >> Okay, how much was your tab? Do you remember? >> It was like 200 >> 220 or something. >> 20 or 40? >> 240 or 220 or something like that. >> Okay, and you paid cash? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> 230 >> So, where where did you go for dinner? Um >> Some other fish place. I don't remember. >> Chef Michael's? Very fancy. Low lighting. >> Big fish? >> Big fish on it? >> It was like 5 minutes away from here. >> Okay, and did you also fail to pay them, too? >> No. >> Okay, so how did you pay with a card? >> No, with a cash. >> With cash? Okay, and how much was your tab? >> Not really the best liar, is he? >> And coffee and milk. >> I'm not going to lie to you. You did not pay for either of those. Okay, we know that you did not. Sir? We know that you did not. We got two reports from both of the restaurants saying that you did not pay. I have you on camera with that shirt on at Marker 88. So >> So, what? I left the cash. >> Okay, you did not pay, sir. You did not You did not pay for your tab. That's why they called us. They don't call us for no reason, okay? >> it. >> Okay. >> I left cash and we left. >> Okay, well, I'm letting you know. >> Go ahead. Like my sergeant said, okay? How about the second restaurant? Sorry, you're just confusing me right now. >> Okay, she said it she was talking about the lunch spot. All right, then she asked you about dinner. You said you paid cash at both. >> Yep. >> All right. We know you didn't pay at that one and we know you didn't pay at that one. >> Let me ask you just just just to confirm, how do you know that? Have you been there? >> Yes, we actually have both places. We have receipts and everything from both >> We got camera footage at both places. >> No, I >> Listen, if it was if it was a mistake, that's fine. And we can talk to them and we can explain that to them. >> No, no, I don't want to argue. >> Okay, no, no, that's fine. >> want to find out like good. Babe, and then like just randomly like someone pulled me over and saying that I'm not I didn't pay. >> Okay, you didn't pay at either of those. Was >> Confusion with you. >> Okay, was there a misunderstanding at Marker 88? >> No. >> No? >> No. >> Okay. We're trying to help you out here, okay? >> Thank you, thank you. >> I know that I know right now that you are lying to me and I Sir, I know that you are lying to me. I can tell by your body language. I can tell by your behavior. Okay. You weren't close. >> I don't know what I've done wrong. >> Listen, it's our job. our job. >> I know, I know, but I don't know what I've done wrong. >> Okay, you did not pay at the restaurant there and you did not pay at the restaurant here, which is why they reported your vehicle, >> Okay. >> a blue Volkswagen with the two of you inside, that you left and you did not pay. So, if there was a misunderstanding, just let us know that. We'll tell the restaurant that and we'll talk to them, okay? That way you're not in trouble and you guys can be on your way. >> Okay. But, listen me out, like >> Okay, yeah, yeah. >> What if I paid >> Mhm. >> and now someone tell me like you didn't pay. Like what what >> It's kind of a coincidence that at both restaurants >> I understand, I understand. >> You know what I mean? >> I understand that, but >> It's kind of kind of far-fetched. >> I understand that, but as far as I remember, in the morning, we left the place cuz we were we've been like uh a little bit arguing and rush just left the place. I left some cash on the table. >> So, you guys were in an argument and you left. >> Yeah, we just left and >> I left I left cash on the table. >> Okay. >> Extra tips, but I didn't count how many how much tips I left there. >> Mhm. >> But I left it under the plate. So. >> Okay. >> That's what I usually do. Like I usually leave the Sorry for my English. >> It's okay. >> I usually leave like cash under the the plate and I just go. >> Okay. Well, I think it's a little strange that both restaurants are reporting that you didn't pay and you just left. Okay? Okay. For me to help you >> So what should I do? >> Okay. For me to help you, you have to tell me the truth so I can >> That's true. I I I left cash. I left cash. >> Sir. >> I'm not going to argue with you. >> I hear you and I don't I don't want to argue with you either. I want to help you. I really want to help you. If you would like to write an apology to to the restaurant or something and we could talk to them, we can do that. >> Yeah, whatever, bro. There's no way the left money at the table excuse works with any kind of officer. Also, nobody in their right mind would leave $400 under a plate. So now we go to the wife to see if maybe she has a better excuse. >> We're going to ask you some questions, all right? But we're going to I'm going to read this to you. All right. Before we ask you any questions, you must understand your rights. You have the right to With these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us? >> Yeah. >> Yeah? Where are you from? >> I used to live in Russia. Like from Russia. >> From Russia? >> Yeah, I used to live in New York like 11 years. >> Mhm. >> And now I came to my boyfriend. >> You came here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Tell me what you guys did today. >> Nothing. Just having dinner, bowls. Barbecue. >> What did you eat for breakfast? What did you guys have for breakfast today? >> Place something there. >> Huh? >> Place something there. I don't know. >> Okay. How about for lunch? >> Nowhere. >> Nowhere for lunch? No? Okay. How about for dinner? >> Uh the place somewhere here, too. I don't know. >> What's the name of it? What did it look like? >> Some place with a fish. >> With a fish? >> Yeah. >> They have a big picture of a fish? >> I don't know. I don't know. >> You don't know? >> No. >> Okay. She says she don't know where she went to lunch. >> Okay. >> It's a It's a restaurant. >> Okay. What does it look like? I know you don't >> I don't know. >> What did you eat? >> Fish. >> Okay. So >> Escargot, like fish. >> Marker 88 sound familiar? >> Which one? >> Marker 88. >> Yes. Yes. That's the name. >> Okay. All right. How about >> That was That was for lunch? >> What? >> That was for lunch? >> No, that's for dinner. >> That was for dinner? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How about Chef Michael's? Sound familiar with a big fish on it? >> Yes. Okay. So, what if I told you that I have you on video at both places and you did not pay when you left? >> Okay. >> Okay. Did you pay for your meal before you left at both restaurants? >> I don't know. >> You don't know. Okay. You either did or you didn't. You can't leave the restaurant until you pay. That's kind of >> spend >> Okay. Well, I pay for my own meals. >> No, I'm not. Never. >> No? You didn't pay? >> No, never. >> Okay. Did you see your husband pay? >> No. >> No? You didn't see him pay? >> Like my mom told me in real I just left. >> Okay. Okay. So, you didn't see him pay at either either restaurant. >> I I'm not looking at this. Never. >> Okay. How does he normally pay for things? With his credit card? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, with his credit card. Okay. Every time? >> Like for my card or his card every time. >> Does he carry like a large sum of cash on him ever? >> Never. >> Never? >> No, ever. >> Okay. Well, okay. >> Every time. >> Every time his card. Every time his used >> every every time card and cash. >> Card and cash? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> He He have a cash sometimes like once a month. Like sometimes. >> Okay. >> Just as dumb as the husband. There is no hope for some people. >> So you know you both didn't pay. >> Really? >> Yes. >> Really? Okay. >> Yeah. So you both didn't pay and the restaurants both called to let us know that. Okay? >> Okay. >> So and what I was trying to explain to your husband is if he was being honest with me >> a card. I can like >> Okay, just hear me Hear me out. If he was being honest with me, I can help you guys and hopefully talk to the restaurant. Okay? Please. Could I do that? >> Yeah. >> Okay, but I need him to be honest with me so that we can take care of it and I can speak to the restaurant. >> Okay. >> Okay? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Would either of you like to write like an apology letter to the restaurant or something that way I can send it to them? >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah? Okay. Can you grab a statement form? >> I like this female officer. What she basically did was elicit a written confession from them. >> Okay, he's going to grab a statement form so you can write it out and then I'm going to talk to your husband one more time and see if he can tell me the truth and be honest with me, okay? >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't know what's like happened like we didn't >> Okay. Okay. Okay, no, I'll talk to your husband again, okay? And then we'll clear everything up. We'll talk to the restaurant. >> Like how it's like going to be? >> Yeah, however you write an apology letter. >> Like I'm sorry. I have something like that. >> Yeah? >> Really? >> Yeah. Seriously. Seriously. >> You're not. >> Okay. >> What would you do like >> Can Can you come out of the car for me? >> Can we get like let's say >> I'm pulling out of Honduras. >> Okay. >> If you would pay me like >> Yeah, I hear you. >> 200 bucks. >> Mhm. Yeah, yeah. Maybe they said you shorted it just because of that reason. >> waiter took it and now they upset. I understand. Might be the case. Might be the case. Cuz I haven't seen the the the actual bill at the end. I was just assuming that it was the amount. And at the end I just left the money and we left. >> I mean, yeah. >> To be honest with you, I'll be really honest with you. I have a good bumps right now. >> Yeah, no, I see. >> We've been arguing like twice today. >> Okay. >> So, if you want to change the amount There's nothing I can do. >> Sorry, we have to cuz we can't see anything and we don't want nobody to hit us. No, no, if you guys can stand here for me. Just stand here for me. >> Cuz we've been we've been arguing like twice. And twice I had to leave like emergency like like right now. >> Is that Is that accurate? You guys have been arguing today? >> I left some cash. I'll be honest with you. My My was not enough. My >> Okay. >> But you have to understand me, too. Like I'm okay to pay. But I really feel bad to pay twice or even like >> With something that you already paid for. Yeah. >> I'm okay to send the money right now. It's not an issue. >> Okay. >> The issue that someone telling you you didn't pay at all. >> It's It's up to the restaurant. It's up to the victim on what they want to do. Okay? >> But we didn't steal anything. >> Food? If you don't pay for your food Do you understand? >> Basically yes, I understand, but you you might this this same thing. I It's It's not like it's proven. >> To double-check their identity, the officer initiated a show-up with the manager. >> So, what we're going to do right now in a couple of minutes we're going to do a show-up, okay? So, I'm going to read you these instructions and then you're going to go ahead and and sign, okay? >> Okay. >> In a moment you are going to have the opportunity to view a person or persons who have made or may or may not be the person who committed the crime being investigated. You should not guess or feel like you have to make identification. It is just as important to exclude innocent persons as it is to identify the person who committed the crime. >> Hold on 1 second. 1 second. Hello? Affirm and how like percentage after her percentage? 110, 210, 310%. Okay, perfect.
