So to the ads, ratio of something to be honest with you is much more on your father. That's I mean, I don't know if you realize that or not. You know, number one is is a husband, number two is ex-husband, so kill D. >> No. >> I I know. And I'm glad you laughed cuz you realize I I don't think you killed her. Do you know who killed D? >> No. >> Do you know where D is at? >> I do not. >> Would you take a polygraph to that? >> I would never take a polygraph. >> I told you I told your son, you know, at this point unfortunately, just because of statistics, you are that number one thing right now. >> Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> We had a tip that your dad, you know, buried her or whatever, these stupid ass tips that he went out there and did it or whatever. So of course I was >> Looking into it. >> the most likely thing and whatever. Oh, of all the of the of the of the ones, you know. >> Of course you got the tanks and all that other stuff too or whatever, but >> You can go scuba diving in those? >> Uh we talked about it. You know, who's going to do that or whatever and then even I made the joke about the dogs or whatever, cadaver dogs. Their union's going to be like, man, we ain't doing that. Cuz we're so cadaver dog in the state, please. Guys were, you know, standing there when they make a comment, you know, in the meeting or whatever. >> Right. >> Uh dogs really pick up. >> That'd be a stinky job. >> And just like here, you know, the tanks and stuff like you can't put a dog in a you know >> Right. >> kill a dog in a tank. >> So you did your dad didn't do any, you simply did it all. Okay. >> All right. What do you think happened? >> In my honest opinion, I believe Jeff and it didn't make no sense and um I assume she just used her home home I'm not certain she had a different phone call them. That's what bring her out. And then gone. Okay. It is pretty difficult for that to happen to fall off the face of the earth a little bit. Not saying you can't it happens. >> Right, right. >> Um, but those percentages are way down there. I mean for what it's worth >> What what happened to her after they left is a different story. You know what I mean? Like who knows >> Right. >> if I got in with the wrong crowd, you know what I mean? You don't know what >> that she was involved in I guess. >> Yeah. Have you seen like her involved in any kind of dangerous things that could lead something like that? >> Not really. Her no. Do those things happen? I'm the police 28 years. It happens. >> Right. Someone's a smooth talker and you know what I mean? >> Yep, and they're out there. There's you know someone out there. I mean there's people out there that certainly kill. It does happen. You know, uh There's definitely no doubt about it, you know. >> Right. >> Uh, for her to completely fall off like this let's say that happened. Uh, those percentages are just I would move them down in that less than a percent. >> Right. >> That you know >> You have to be like you know if you take off a >> and all that. Yeah, and she didn't sound like she's that tech savvy. The IT guy basically has to set up her phone and stuff like that, you know. She's not that techy. >> Right. >> Um, and then there is money, you know. So I mean she had some potentially, you know, what she had taken from here or whatever, but still uh, you I mean you got to walk away from But whatever, you can do it. It's happening. >> You can do it, right. >> Right, it's it's down there, but it can happen. And then uh, I guess I've contacted in Florida with a and and I came back, so I don't It's not to say you can't have her come down. Whatever I mean that's a absolute can happen. >> it happens, right? >> Yeah, I mean it can't happen, but this is too far, too long. We're in a well over a month. The other things, too, though, like the strong things are if that stuff happens or to me, there's only two people that's involved in this that are I'll say guilty of it. It's either D or your dad. To me. Reason I say that is the ring. Nobody gives two shits about that ring other than D and Dale. Like I'm talking about the wedding ring. You understand? She, of course, can take it off, leave it on the desk, screw you, we're done, here's your ring back, take off, you know, and that's that's from the heart. That's from the heart, you know, and take it off. Your dad, the same reason, flip-flop, you know, the setup deal. To say that and want it's a lot of money, you know, $40,000 or something like that. You know, it's worth a lot of money. That's the other aspect. The odds just just odds are much higher. So so the odds ratio of something happening, to be honest with you, is much more on your father. That's I mean, I don't know if you realize that or not. You know, number one is is a husband, number two is ex-husband, so you know, whatever. I even said that to seems to be really good. I personally don't think he did anything at all. He's he's speaking good or whatever. And just cuz odds are high, that doesn't mean >> And it's not necessarily true, right? >> Right. But I mean, it's it's way up there at this point. Looking at everything we've done, you know, D taking off, I mean, she's way down there in the 5%. And 5% is still a percent, so it could happen. D could have took off. I don't know the answer yet, okay? I don't. I I simply don't. Um Uh you know, I'm simply still in the investigative stages. Uh but well, I mean, outsider looking in, you know, Dale's percentages kind of I hate to say they keep on growing. >> Um you just keep saying they're growing, which is kind of confusing to me. >> Yeah, I I know, I'll explain to you the two of them. No problem. I mean, >> I I I'm I'm not trying to be like defensive about it, but it's kind of upsetting, you know what I mean? >> No, I get it. It should be. It should be to you. You're like, "Damn, dude, you're you're accusing my dad." I haven't said your dad did it. I'm just telling you percentages and stuff like that. That's where I'm at. >> say like it's like all these crimes and everything 90% of the time >> Yeah. >> a wife murders the husband or something. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> And you know, that's that's it, but I whatever. I I will not put your dad in handcuffs. I never want to get the wrong person ever in any case. Um I have had unsolved, you know, cases in my career, obviously. Whether it's a breaking and entering or whatever, you know, we certainly have I'm surprised in how many convictions, you know, we actually do get, and I never want to get the wrong person ever. >> Right. >> Uh but here here's some of my problems. So, yeah, just the stat on it is up there, but whatever. >> I'm curious to ask you about this. >> Yeah, I don't care too much. Uh 5% still, whatever. You know, I wouldn't arrest somebody on a 95 and five. It just doesn't work that way anyway. Um Uh so, one thing in the for your dad, I I want to leave your dad alone. I I don't want to focus on your dad. I want to, you know, go find her. I want to I want her just to come home. I told Dale, "When she comes home, don't argue with her that night, you know, just whatever, you know, welcome her home." And that's what he said he'd do anyway. I said, "Let me yell at her. Let me cuz I'll I'll I'll I'll beat her ass." He said, "That's what's got me going." So, if I've literally I worked on one case today. Um that today is the only other day since in over 30 days that I've worked on anything else. Uh and I only worked on it for maybe an hour. Another case. Other than that, I've been on this 100%. Yeah, the missing person. It just takes a lot of time. Sorry, that's a long explanation about the polygraph. So, your dad's been pretty against that. It is a great tool for us. So, I've used cadaver dogs here. I've used the helicopter. I flew up in the helicopter. I used her horses. I used a lot of people, lot of other police departments. Lot of search warrants on phones, Facebook, and things like that. A polygraph is simply a tool just like your crescent wrench or whatever else. You're popping off a tire, you're going to use a pry bar or extension bar. So, for me, it's just another tool. That's all that is. >> [snorts] >> I couldn't even use it in court, you know, if he failed. I I couldn't even use it. It's not something you you'd instantly >> So, what do you Why do you use it then? If you can't use it >> It helps. It is a tool. It's just a It's that extension bar. It's that pry bar. It's something that makes it easier. It's just another thing that helps you, you know. I use a dog. Could she be here? She actually can. I mean, this place is freaking unbelievable, you know, all the different everything around this place. Um A dog can miss. I can miss. A polygraph can miss. But, they're all things that, you know, you throw together and you use out of your toolbox to try to get to something. Did you kill Dee? >> No. >> I know. I'm I'm glad you laughed cuz you realize I don't think you killed her. Do you know who killed Dee? Do you know where Dee's at? >> not. >> Will you take a polygraph for that? >> I would never take a polygraph. >> Well, which is good. I mean, that's a good answer. But, it wasn't the one I was expecting. I mean, you can ask me, "Did I kill her?" No. "Did I, you know, same questions?" No. "Would you take a polygraph?" Yeah. I didn't kill her. I mean, but there are people that have that in their heart and stuff. Now, I'm the police and I've seen them, you know, work or whatever. So, there's that. I'm trying to simply focus completely where I need to. I want to be able to just it it it removes your dad in my mind a lot. I mean, here's the number one guy. I mean, just on paper, your dad's the number one guy. I want to take him from number one and putting him number five and then number 10. Um and then I can focus more on other things, but when certain things are happening and I appreciate your answer, you know, the polygraph. And people can be real strong. So, people are strong about their >> I don't like polygraphs. >> [laughter] >> Why is that? >> I just feel like they're damned if you do, damned if you don't. >> Uh okay, I'll I'll tell you my career. Um this one is what I do. Uh one of the biggest ones we do them on is a criminal sexual conduct, right? >> Okay. >> Um I never forget I never want to put the wrong guy or someone in prison. And a lot of times in a criminal sexual conduct, it's a he said, she said. Sometimes it's a month later. Well, a month later there's no longer, you know, semen on the bed sheets or something like that. They're going to wash. Um [snorts] never want to get the wrong guy. You simply got a girl says, "Oh, yeah, you know, he raped me. We had, you know, he raped me." And the guy is says, "No, I didn't." Sometimes a guy will say, "No, we didn't even have sex." because he's scared. And then a lot of times you find out, "Well, yeah, we did have scared, you know, sex, but I'm scared cuz you know, convict me." Oh, [ __ ] dude. Now you just lied about that. And I'm wondering, right, did you lie about the other? Um you know, did you lie cuz you had a girlfriend at the time, you know, when you were younger? >> Right. You don't want to find out about it. >> Right. You know, or was it you know, what's what's the reasons in that? But nonetheless, so with that being said, when there's no evidence in a rape, you know, other than he said, she said, and I have him going to take the polygraph, I see him work. I see how good the polygraph is. So, then when I'm done with my report, uh we we still almost always have to send them to the prosecutor, but it will my my would say review only, which means it's just a terminology. It means I'm not looking for a warrant for the person. >> Mhm. >> Um and it's again it's because they cooperate and I believe in them, you know. Uh so, that's that's it. Absolutely, you know, I I don't hold it against him really for not taking one if he does it. But, you know, it's one of my tools. >> Right. >> And if you didn't do you didn't do something, I can't use it against you anyhow. All it's going to do is focus me away from you. That's what it's going to do. Um so, if he passes, then I'm like, all right, you know, now I'm my heart cuz I don't know you know, I never met your dad before. >> Right. >> I don't know him from anything. I'm just going odds. I'm going that. I'm going you know, the day we were here searching the first day, you know, we're here for about an hour. >> Mhm. >> And then a dog shows up, you know, cuz they have a dog, not just a dog, but cadaver dog. And then the drone shows up. And within like 5 minutes of that, you know, your dad's like he he he's like, "Oh, I'm getting sick." Um and it's you know, sure pressure or whatever, but maybe internally built up too, but nonetheless, it's like, "Yeah, you guys are done. You got to leave. Go search anywhere. Go search the other 59 properties, but I don't want you searching here." Um and then I'm like, well, who should I see? I I didn't realize I could but I'm like, "Who's your most trusted employee? Have him walk right with me. I got a recorder on. It's going to show every single thing I'm doing." He's like, "I got to go farm." I get it. I I grew up on a farm myself. You know, I understand the weather. You know, you got to get stuff done in that time. Go do what you got to do. That's all right. And I I I guess I thought of at the time, "Have your son to walk with me." You know, I I I ain't going to steal anything I can hold on or or whatever, but and it's still his right. You know, he said, "Go search." You know, again, it's it's right on there respectfully. Okay, that was no no, we're taking off. He says, "Come back tomorrow." It doesn't really work that good. You know, cuz the other family would be like, "Oh, [ __ ] You know, you left. You took her you you moved her that night, you know, and now he's come back the next day and start searching." >> Right. >> Absolutely. I mean, but that's what I'm like explaining to him. So, it doesn't work for us. So, we left. Had my partner take up a search warrant. Come back 4 hours later. Searched. And for what it's worth, yeah, and I feel that we didn't nothing, but I'm not saying you would. There's some reasons you wouldn't. Um a a choke, you know, you're not going to find it. You might find heel drag marks, you know, or you know, if you're sliding somebody. Um but that's also another thing we're not what we're not finding. Like if you're fighting with a something, you know, your mom's probably going to fight back a little bit or have a little bit of chance, you know, and she's kind [clears throat] of that in your face kind of lady, right? She's going to probably scratch. Um and I mean Dale was good. I had him take his shirt off about 10 days into it, you know, roughly 8 7 to 10 days. He's like, "Yeah, take your shirt off." And he took a picture of him in front, back, you know. I do that in domestics, you know, and it just shows my [ __ ] I mean, maybe I killed her, but I mean, I'm always I'm always scratched up anyway, but um so he did, you know, and I took a picture, but again, that's whatever. With the husband, it might be a little different. Potentially, could be. Um but anyway, so so probably that's what that's that's where I was, you know, getting at. that that I want to relieve you know, you alleviate it. I want to rule him out. I want to rule your dad out. Uh he's easy to talk to. Um I I worked 11 months in a jail and we had three murder guys in the jail for murder at one point, which is amazing in the only county, but this is way back in the day. And I sat right down in the jail cell right with talking to these guys like nothing. I mean, they're fine. All three All three were wives. Uh you know, they killed their wives or whatever, but um you know, whatever it is, he just kind of flipped or whatever, you know, and uh surely probably regretted it or whatever, but nonetheless, um they're easy to talk to, easy to hang out with. The guys were fine for the most part. Other than they killed their wives. Yeah. So, but with that being said, but with that being said, it's not really totally fine, but nonetheless, um so you say that >> and you just kind of been that kind of calm or whatever. >> I have literally, I don't know how long they were together. You say 15 years. Almost 20. >> 20 is out of us. >> [snorts] >> now the biggest thing. Uh telling us to leave, not the biggest thing, you know. >> I wouldn't want you to be here without a warning either, you know what I mean? Most people are kind of like that. >> Yeah. Uh I don't know. I I've I've gotten away with a lot, so I'm going to say most. I don't know. Uh houses are a little different, but >> Yeah, I don't like people wanting me in their personal space, you know what I >> Right. No, no, I I I understand what you're saying. Like, if you're not guilty, then why are you trying to hide anything? >> Well, and it's not just that. This This is a different situation. I'm an I'm an ex-narcotics officer, so I was in houses all the time, you know, asking to search or vehicles. This is different. I'm looking for your wife. >> Right, yeah. >> I mean, this isn't even This is I'm looking for your wife, dude. I'm I'm helping you, you know? And then I mean, that's it in that sense, right? Right. Uh if you take it that way. And he has been fairly, you know, fairly good, I mean, as far as I'm concerned. He never told me to f off or anything like that, you know. Uh and he's more of a passive interview, and I don't know what I'm at now, probably 30, close to 30 people. Um more of a passive person, non-confrontational. Uh sounds like he beat the [ __ ] out of the dog one day. Uh Not too far from this time frame or whatever. Uh The chickens, you know, the baby chicks or whatever got out, and they came across and stuck their head in the dog cage, and the dog latched onto them and and whatever. I grew up on a farm, same thing. I'm I'm guaranteeing you I'd have put the boot to them, too. So, I'm that doesn't mean anything. You can kill a dog, you can beat a dog, you can beat your wife five times, that doesn't mean you killed your wife. I don't put that against anybody, cuz I've seen the other thing. I've seen people that have never touched their wife once that have killed, you know, killed their wives. So, that stuff is just circumstantial. Means it means nothing. I just take it for granted. So, yeah, cuz it goes both ways. It doesn't mean anything. Uh you know, it's It's farming season, so he's constantly doing stuff. So, his his time frame on the phone, you know, we look at those things and we're still getting those results back and there's a couple of conflicts, which I'll end up, you know, talking to him about those or whatever, but I mean, I'm literally I'm trying to figure it out, okay? And if he can help me, that's a great. So, that's that's where that is. You you at this point are still saying, I think you're saying you still want to take one. >> Yeah, I'll take one about >> Yeah, but you you get where I'm coming >> Yeah, I know my I know what you I get what you're saying. >> I can't use it against him. I I would Now, now if you failed it, don't get me wrong. I mean, I'm not I'm never going away from him, you know, until we find her because that's their when he's pretty much He's right now he's like the number one. There's no you know, there's no out of ratio. He's a he's a number one guy. Yeah, but then when it comes down from that uh you know, until we get something more or whatever, you know, whatever. I keep looking at everything that I come in. Hardy, you know, Greg. There's blood in my barn. Okay, so we do that, you know. Um gives us all these other things. Oh, there's a tunnel at Cedar Point. Yeah, I already searched through that. Uh you know, whatever though. >> Small hole underneath the barn or whatever? >> No, no, I mean, I I It's about 30 yd long tunnel. >> I never been out of it, I guess. >> Uh on the south side. >> Yeah, on the south side. I think I know what you're saying. >> By those barns or whatever. >> Isn't it like old barns on top of it or something? Is there railroad ties in front of it? >> Uh I think so, but it is actually I think I would say inside of it is some kind of railroad ties. I'm trying to think what's the another word that you call that tunnel, but the actual terminology for it. Um It It's about, you know, it's at least from here to the toolbox long. It's by those barns. And it is probably It goes back that No, that's maybe a 4 by 4 or 4 by 3. >> Okay. >> You know, but you go down and one of the dogs, canines are going down there or whatever. The guy's like, "I ain't sending my dog in there." Whatever is my case. [ __ ] that. So, I went through it. >> You you got to go in >> Yeah, so I went through it and it's whatever. Obviously there's nothing there. Just something to check off or whatever. >> Right. >> Fact that there's title drill. You guys have to do title work everywhere. Didn't make you know really easy either but that whatever. That's that's just you know the business. That's there's nothing against anybody. Um Uh But but I mean when you look at it what's going on, you know there's an argument that's going to happen. I mean I don't know it's a it's asked for divorce again is what it's going to be, you know. And uh And that's pretty darn strong, you know, and you know I don't want to go through a divorce and go through this [ __ ] you know, so there So there's that that aspect of it. If If If he did, there's your reason, you know, for the most part that and you know maybe an affair or something like that would certainly be the reason for your dad. The fact of uh Um >> [snorts] >> Not going through again the finance aspect of it, you know, it cost a lot of money, you know, he's your dad's like look we built ourselves up, you know. >> Right. >> Uh after after the you know uh And then on the other side could he go? Absolutely she could go. Could somebody else? Could she just have that fluke and ran into, you know, whoever she called or somebody else that happened to be that person that that person's a serial killer or whatever. >> Something like that, yeah. >> So something bad. We're not missing a bunch of extra people, you know, in Winona County got the skeleton kids that are missing. Other than that, we're not um Just going to get three murders. Um that are like our last three murders we've had. Lady in the Drakes >> River. Oh yeah, they come see. >> I kayaked out to her, measured her, you know, and so that's you know, I'm on that. Uh the guy that got stabbed and killed or killed that guy in the Meyer uh school. >> Oh yeah, yeah. >> I interviewed that guy. Uh he confessed to that. And then that at the park, I don't know if you remember the uh Heritage Park. Um a guy just stabbed a stabbed his buddy and killed him. >> Really? >> And shot him. Did both stabbing and shooting. That was maybe 2 years ago. But it's just another one. So, I mean that's the stuff happens. You wouldn't think it does or whatever. You know, it's one of those things that occur, so. And that's what I deal with as well as all the little stupid ball crap stuff. >> All right. >> So, me in my dress clothes and the guy there. >> the back? [clears throat] >> Yeah, I'll get it. Yeah, and uh um >> And this be zoomed out and then there there she is. >> Wow. >> So. Um >> Uh-huh. >> Um And then whatever, I got to interview with the guy in the killed the guy in the >> Meyers. >> store till he died. Yeah, that's what it's on there, too, but none of that. So, it does happen. And the guy is easy to talk to. The guy behind the Meyers is like, yeah. Eh. I don't want to go back to prison. >> That's what he said? >> Yeah. So, I was like, that guy is old, he lived his life. So, you know, I mean, we're interviewing him, all right. Well, I mean, it's my job, you know, and appreciate it, but but I'm just telling [ __ ] happens, you know, people kind of flip or whatever, but um So, what I'm going to continue doing is obviously uh we are really getting that phone stuff back right now. >> Yeah, that's good. >> And and it's up to the like the state police lab, so they're actually doing it cuz it's not as easy as it sounds. You know, you think, okay, GPS, but then they'll map it all. Uh and and primarily I mean, it's it's good, too, cuz it shows your dad. Uh I mean, that's one of the ones we got back right away because >> It shows locations where he was at that day. >> Yeah. But that doesn't mean anything cuz my phone's sitting there. So, number one, you could take my phone or two, your dad's a smart guy. Um but that doesn't mean he's not completely thinking. I mean, if he did something like this, he's whacked. I told him, "If you did this, you're not You're a nice guy. Your head's going to explode inside. It's going to cause you problems. You're not going to be able to live with yourself." >> Right. >> Um and then uh >> What's the thing too is kind of like I might get get confused and I was like, "You guys have been like investigating for like 5 weeks, you know what I mean?" Like and my dad's like prime suspect. >> Right. >> Don't you think like if an average Joe guy like my dad did do something like that, you would have found something? Do you know what I mean? >> I've done something like >> You got You got to think he's like capable of hiding that much stuff. >> Yeah. >> Really? >> I do. Yeah. Uh simply because it's not premeditated. You know, it's not something you you know, planned out, which also can go against you too cuz whatever you do something, but uh a lot of times somebody will tell you the truth and they'll tell you half the truth. I mean, I'm the police, everybody lies to me. Uh but a lot of people tell you some of the truth. So, he's like, "Yeah, I gave her a massage." Everybody else is like, "Whatever." Uh And you know, my I would always Yeah, cringe, you know, dad like, "Oh, you can't touch me." type thing and you know, which whatever. She's got a headache. Yeah, sure, when we're alone, sure. Could he massage her? Absolutely. But one of the, you know, things is so yeah, he gives her a massage, she helps her up on the couch. People are like, "Hell no." You know, she would never let him do that. Yeah, she's got a headache, she's sick. I could see it happening. Absolutely. I mean, I'm telling you that. I could see it happening. But so a massage. Uh a massage, [snorts] yeah, a massage and a choke, you know, turns you know, to a choke type thing or whatever. Um and then a choke does not have blood to a choke. Uh it'll get You'll get violent or whatever. You potentially could aspirate, you know, and stuff like that. The point being is you're not going to find blood in the house if someone chokes somebody. Um So, I mean, that's just me running through it. If If your father did it, that would be my take on what he would have done if a choke. Um again, not to leave any You know, cuz I've been in there. I've been in those. >> [clears throat] >> Not to leave any >> you mean you've been in those? >> Yeah. Yeah. Um >> but nonetheless that's you know that's it. You know, that I mean I'm just talking that's how it would happen most likely, you know, something like that. But if someone else is doing it here, again you're you're more likely have the POL marks, you have a bunch of other things. Um Now if someone did say and I saw it myself when I came here, like the JCB or whatever, uh the tracks right up to the front door. >> Mhm. >> Doesn't totally mean anything, but when it happens someone when it said well [ __ ] you know, I thought it was that cuz I saw the tracks up there. And of course he gives a great explanation. He's like yeah, I forgot something in the house and he ends up saying it's like a small tiny tool thing that he carries, you know, so that day he went and grabbed it. So yeah, it's one or the other. Um You know, from 100 to 100 it's hard to carry something, so he either pulled up there with a JCB to put her in there, you know, and moved her somewhere or yeah, he came up there and grabbed his multi-tool. I mean, that's straightforward. It's one or the other. >> Right. >> I mean, I'm I'm I'm convinced of that. They're both smart enough uh as far as uh um they know where the camera system is. So she's leaving, she's smart enough which way to go. If he harmed her, he knows he's smart enough which way to go. I mean, so everything unfortunately works both answers every way. Um and again I'm just trying to I don't want your dad to be it. Trust me, I don't. I don't make any There's no extra money for me if your dad did something. No extra money for me if your mom left. >> So yeah, right. >> I get nothing either way. Again, I I just want her to come home or she come home or phone call, you know, FU and >> Yes. Or if she just said something to someone it'd be >> Right. >> all better. >> Yeah, but and that's just it. It just doesn't happen this way per se. We are down into that 1%, you know, that happened this way. Um I can't Uh it's one of those things I actually get into missing people. Uh we have a our computer system. We keep an eye on that cuz I think it's important, you know, you don't want people missing or whatever. >> Right. >> Uh and most of them are simply we've had them. Uh car accidents, uh hospitals, you know, um a lot of them they call us, "Oh, we had a missing." Most of them, I mean, you know, the 24-hour people come back for one reason or another. Uh they went to go see somebody. "Well, you didn't tell anybody." You know, those happen a fair amount. >> Right. >> Um and then we just simply uh and then they never call us back. So, I get on our computer, I call them up. "Hey, just check the status of" >> "Oh, yeah, he returned. We never called you." >> Oh, thanks. But, you know, you just but obviously that's not the case, you know, with this. >> Mhm. >> Um Uh see, so No, uh well, what's how's D I mean, everybody else has already told me, so I'm sure you're going to say the same thing to me. What what's D as a person? >> Hm. Um depends which one you're asking about. I guess you could say. >> Oh, okay. So, you're kind of saying that basically bipolar or whatever, split personality or something. >> Yeah, you could It's kind of one of those things you walk through the door, you never know which D you're going to get. >> Mhm. >> Um >> And someone else said 95% of the time D's D's good. >> It's the side that wants to be, yeah. >> Right. And that 5% of the time it's it's a different situation. Um you know, you stay away from her. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, that's what someone >> Depending on who you are, the ratio is probably different, too. >> Oh, sure. >> You know what I mean? >> Right. No, I feel >> So, I don't know. As of more time went on, I just I don't know. Stopped walking through the door. You know what I mean? >> Mhm. >> Just kind of avoided it. >> Right. >> Don't make a problem if you don't >> She's better obviously with her saying, you know, the kids, you know, the four of them versus your >> Definitely is. >> That's a half-ass understandable, but whatever. >> Yeah. Um but I mean, she was never terrible to me, but she said some mean things to me before. Yeah, who hasn't she said a bad thing to pretty much. But >> never was I like beaten or anything like that, but she wasn't >> Did you ever see her lay her hands on your dad? >> Uh not in like a too aggressive manner, but I I wasn't there when I heard about it happening before. I guess they were at a campground and they got into an argument or she was mad about something. Most of the time when I say argument, it's more so the screaming at my dad and my dad just >> going to get to that. So, I mean if there's a physical there's the verbal, so your mother would be your stepmother would be verbally abusive potentially. I would say that's something like that. >> I guess she's hit him a couple times before, too, but I never witnessed that, but yeah, she could be your best friend or your worst enemy, just depending on how she [clears throat] was feeling that day, I guess. >> What about an embezzlement aspect? I mean it's your own business, I mean her own business in the sense, you know, if you take money from your own business or take money from your own business, but what's your top thought or what do you know anything about anything like that or no? >> Yeah, uh I've heard some amount of how much I mean I've I've seen looked through her many accounts or anything like that, but yeah, I've heard that she's taking quite a bit of money out of the company, so I'd be pretty upset, but >> Mhm. >> but I think that I don't know. My dad's known that she's been spending a lot of money for a long time. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. So, I don't know what to >> I could I I could I couldn't handle it, but that's just me. I'm going to tell you that. >> [laughter] >> That's what I said that my my dad's put up with. I mean he he handles a lot better than anybody else can, I'm sure. >> Mhm. >> That's the only other thing I can say or anything I can do is that she always painted my dad to be like a a bad guy and most of the time, you know, what I mean, just giving her half of the story and not really the full context of it. >> And I don't cuz your dad and I are a ton alike. I mean, 52 years old, I've never been married, I don't have any kids, but definitely dated a lot of women and unfortunately I put my career I I don't know why I just I always phone rings phone rings I go, you know, and and same, you know, holidays, you know, where the police would work holidays, you know, their family, girlfriend, whatever goes or whatever. They're alone. So, same thing. I'm sure you D was alone and felt alone, didn't feel a loved in a lot of aspects cuz dad would be out in the field or whatever, you know, late [clears throat] at night and get up first thing in the morning and go. >> Yeah. >> You know, those those kind of things. So, I mean, him and I are definitely a lot alike in that aspect and working nonstop. People also work nonstop to whatever occupy themselves so he's not thinking about her. >> Yeah. >> Um you know, one way or the other, so. How has he been? Has he talked to you about any of this? >> A little bit, not a whole lot. It's It's taking a toll on you, you know what I mean? Just from I'm not saying you're doing your job, you know what I mean? >> I'm I'm I'll tell you I'm taking a toll. I mean, I know I am. I'm taking a toll. >> to these >> I'm here. >> Even when you're innocent, if someone just kind of grilling you, grilling you, grilling you, it just takes a toll on you and then >> Absolutely. >> the entire community is looking at you, asking you, you know, what's going on? I can't go to work without someone asking me what's going on every day, you know what I mean? >> And I've told him I told him that. I I said his your business is is going to fail. I mean, I'm I told him one, your head's going to explode if you did this. >> Mhm. >> Your business is going to fail. It has to. I'm just I mean, straight for It has to. Cuz you you're hearing it. Everyone's going to go with those odds. I won't I said I'm never going to rush your father, you know, if if I don't think he did it and it's not just thinking he did it, you know, it's further than that. Um but people are going to talk and then because of that they're going to do less business thinking that son of a [ __ ] killed his wife, he's getting away with Other people are going to Whatever. Money's money. I get my grand, you know, uh fertilizer, you know, whatever. I get a good deal. I give two shits. >> Right. Everyone's just thinking their own thing. There's so many rumors and all that. >> But But I mean, but there is a big big portion of that, you know, the other side of the family, you know, whatever, which whatever, you know, they're going to say [ __ ] anyhow, and that's why I want to shut them up. I want to shut everybody up. And there's that only way. I mean, I don't, you know, I wasn't there. I thought I was but I wasn't there. You weren't here either, I mean, for what it's worth. You know, people are like, "Holy [ __ ] you know, you see it on TV, they interview the neighbor guy." He was the nicest dude in the world, but I never guessed it, you know. Priest. Touch boys' penises. I mean, there's nothing surprises me in my job, you know. Um So, but again, I do I want him not to have done it. I want to, you know, be able to release him, so um Jeez, you know, you said you wouldn't take one anyhow, but it's really neat watching cuz they prove to the person first how it works, and they show them, you know, how it working. First of all, he has to be a good candidate, meaning he doesn't have medical problems. And trust me, your dad's fine, you know. He's not out there or whatever. Um But, uh it's just something that helps me so that I can really focus. And I would, if he passes that, don't get me wrong, dude, that doesn't mean no, he's never a suspect, but then I mean, I'm going to I mean, that's just me. I'm going to turn a lot in another direction. >> Right. >> And not to say there's not a whole lot more to go on anyhow, to be honest with you. Once we get all the cell phones from him and her and all that stuff come back and and things like that, and I still There's another guy I got to contact. >> Did you find her like on any dating apps or anything like that? >> I'm doing a lot of this legwork, and I have a partner that's doing that stuff. He just Yeah, he's just in the computer type thing and doing search warrants because that has been brought up, but then you get that a lot. Like even me, I mean, if you Google me, it shows I got a kid, and I ain't got a kid. But I mean, just that I know of. No, I wouldn't say that's why I say. But but I don't, you know. And but you have that, you know, their computer systems, you know, and then identity theft and people get in that crap all the time. So, you have a partner doing that, but it's like you know, Friday, get a phone call, she's on Facebook, you know, we got to, you know, call like yeah, whatever. I'm like you know what, good, she's on Facebook. I mean like active on Facebook, good. I mean she's alive, whatever, let her keep on playing at it, you know, and if she's that comfortable, she'll play on it a little more, you know, and whatever. I mean you know, people are running around like oh, we got to go. I ain't got to go do [ __ ] Good, she's alive, you know, but no, it's not, you know, that one what was Dale. You know, Dale was on, you know, checking stuff or whatever. >> Can you see the location of where it was like accessed or something like that, too? >> Yeah, and again, I'm not on that part of it, but you know, this is it's like it's not, you know, it's not D, you know, um and then uh you know, got another one, or where was it? I think it was Monday, you know, another one or whatever, same thing. It's like well, whatever, relax, my daughter's good. Good. >> [clears throat] >> And being in Jamaica, which we which we've checked, you know, checked those kind of things, too, with her passport >> Yeah, it'd be hard to get out of the country. Sure, right. >> Um I don't know, you know, an issue that smart, but I mean once you'd have to go with somebody cuz that's people she wouldn't go anywhere by herself, she's not that kind of a person, but leaves without Yeah, it could happen, absolutely, you know. >> Yeah. >> [clears throat] >> She's one of those people that needs to be loved by people. One day, someone, you know, she's okay with you, next day she's a hater type thing. I've I've gotten that from pretty much everybody. >> Yeah. >> Um but she [clears throat] desires your approval. >> Yeah, maybe not. >> Totally you, you know, cuz one way or the other side, you know, the other side part, potentially the other side of family a little bit, but >> [snorts] >> His you You his dad, I mean you got strong people and and uh you know, he teared up on me interviewing him and I don't really tell what other people say or whatever, but he just basically got down and you could see in him, you know, like same thing. I I haven't really changed anything that I said to him that I'm saying to you. You know, when he's tearing up and he's like, "Prove it." You know. Which was a little weird, I mean, a little bit or whatever cuz I'm not you know, saying he did it. I'm just saying you know, the odds or whatever and uh it would seem like he potentially like knew a little bit. We do have the phone calls from him to your dad that night. >> Yeah. >> Uh the message back and forth with the which whatever. It's his dad. I mean, my dad died during this investigation. But >> I'm sorry to hear that. >> Yeah, but uh you know, but that's all we also look at that, too. Norms. We don't just all go for one week. You know, we open them up for several, you know, months. What is norm? So, if you look at your dad's phone, what's norm for your dad? Uh you know, like you, you know, like if you wake up at 7:00, you know, and different Sunday might be different for you. But Sunday might throw the church thing on there. You might sleep in on Sunday depending on what kind of a person, you know, you are and then your your pattern. But that's what they do with at the state police lab. They'll they pattern people what's a norm. And it doesn't mean not something going to switch. [ __ ] all right. Ask for a divorce on this day. That's going to switch you. That's going to switch your norm. That's going to switch your norm anyway. Right. >> Um but anyway and uh I don't really I mean, there's a lot to it and uh I'm pretty confident in my job and you know, as far as figuring it out once we get the other, you know, the phone stuff and things like that. Um but again, so I I mean, that's for what it's worth. I thought there was just a few things left with your dad. And I know like the poly obviously was a huge one and if he doesn't want, that's certainly on him, but >> Right. >> but I I you know, it helps me and I I you know, I want to be on your dad's side and I I person I will personally tell people that's what I do. Hey, I'm good. Shut up. >> Yeah. >> You know, and I I I definitely can say that to my bosses. Um but anyway, so Anything else that I should need to know or you think that would help or whatever? And yeah, you know, we look at the you know, definitely we'll be looking at the dating sites or whatever more, but >> Yeah, that's the biggest thing that I'm not I'm not I never saw it, but I could definitely see that, you know what I mean? And not to say like she intended to even do this, but like maybe she just wanted to get away and then that turned into something more, you know what I mean? >> Yeah, more both ways. Oh, fell in love with the guy or the guy whacked her. >> Yeah, he does absolutely too, you know. >> And I'm not I'm not against that. I mean, I'm not I definitely have not ruled that out. >> Right. >> Actually, I don't think I've really ruled anything out to be honest with you. So >> Well, yeah, like that's pretty much all I got, I guess. Hopefully you guys come up with something on the phone thing lead to something else. But Yep. Anything else you need from me? >> Nope. Um we've still got a few more, you know, obviously family members, but again, it's one of those deals where, you know, someone knew something I would tell. I mean, you know Uh you know, for the most part anyhow. You know, if someone knew something, like really, you know, cuz like uh I already, you know, you haven't interviewed my wife yet. >> You think you should do something? I feel she would have told us about it. >> Exactly. Why do I want to interview her? And I have priorities. Priority is the video from here. That thing's gone in 5 days. So that is something I need I need to do that, you know, which obviously we have. Um we need to do that, which you know, like interviewing Todd. Todd's at 3:30 a.m., you know, driving a semi here on that night. So of course, you know, so you know, we want to talk to him, you know, and log books and stuff like that. So obviously interview him and and whatever. Uh But uh So All right, I think I appreciate it. >> Yep, no problem. Happy to help. Like you said, I hope that they find her. You know what I mean? Like she comes home. That's the obviously the best case. I don't know how things are going to turn out after she comes home, but I mean Dale says for everybody is that she comes home. >> Yeah. And and Dale says he'd work at it, you know what I'm saying? Like whatever. >> To each their own, right? >> Right. I was screwed up in a relationship. She was like, "Yeah, I could be a better boyfriend." And you know, so girlfriend left or whatever and he's like, "No, I'm sorry." He apologized to her and obviously didn't didn't end up end up working out, but the same thing. It's like I wouldn't really see it working, but whatever. That's on them. If they separate, they separate. If they stay together, they stay together. You know, it doesn't >> Yeah, none of that means >> right? Yep, none of that means anything to me. We just need to find her one way or the other and it'll be done with it. And that's what would happen with me. You know, I just had three there murders. If it's if it turns out to murder, once it's done, I will move on to my next, you know, case or whatever. Um and if it turns out that she's out with a dude and comes back, same thing. I mean, I I life goes on. I'll continue to doing my job or whatever, so >> That's kind of what I Could she get in trouble for like doing this stuff? >> He's like, "No, I don't want her to." But I said, "Yeah, there is a a criminal charge which I did tell him." Uh and I am especially if he said it, which he wouldn't. Uh child neglect, child abandonment. She abandoned her. Yeah, it's child abandonment. So, in my eyes, I would do it. Problem is finding woman that really do that, you got to be a little nuts or whatever. So, you know what I mean? But then it comes into that. So, when it goes to court, they're going to be like, "Well, you know, she abandoned her." Things like stuff like that. So, but I mean, trust me, I I'd go for it. You put your daughter through this and now she's feeling [ __ ] you know. >> She's handling a lot a lot better than I thought she would. That's for sure. I mean when I interviewed her she's good but other people say other things but far as I mean, you know, I think she's fine. You know, I >> Yeah. >> You know, I get a couple of videos of her or whatever. She's come up to me or whatever she's talking about house foreclosure thing or something like that. She's got diagrams and all this crap. It's like Jesus. Kids spoiled no doubt about it but but anyway, so Well, definitely appreciate you talking to me. Um let's get this iPad talk to your dad. Talk to your dad for about 5 minutes. Hopefully it's raining so that's about the only time I can get with your dad. >> Otherwise he's out and gone. >> I even said it to him. Like I'm kind of like around I'm like well, I'm going to do a polygraph. I am sorry. I can't schedule it for a rainy day cuz I don't know when it's going to rain but you have nothing more important in your life going on. Um >> Yeah. >> Yeah, it's your wife. You should, you know, try to do things and help or whatever. Uh and that's the other thing we look at. Did your dad do what a normal guy would do in this situation? And I even told him that. >> Are you >> doing what a normal guy would do, you know, what a normal What the [ __ ] are you doing? Why haven't you found my wife yet? Things like that which Um but everybody is different and your your dad's a more introverted guy. He's a a different guy and I don't mean that by any means in a bad way whatsoever. I mean like my dad he really never hugged me. I bet you any money your dad probably Has your dad ever told you he loved you? Has he ever told you he has? Okay. Uh I just see him as not being that kind of guy so >> He's a man's man kind of strong guy, yeah. >> Yeah. And whatever it means nothing. That has nothing to do with nothing but everyone's different is my point. So All right. So yeah, I don't know. Do you any clue? You think he ran in the house or did he >> I saw him out there a second ago. He went in the house. I don't know. See the blood out there. Okay. >> So how do you guys know what truck is what? >> I'll get this. >> Mine's GMC. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Uh Yeah, no, good enough. That was it. Again, I just absolutely had to touch base with you. Your name was brought up because of the Kyle aspect, and that was a huge one for tips. So, when I went, you know, that day, I don't know how many people we had that day. I had eight different teams going out doing searches that each team was a decent size or whatever. You know, it's maneuver, right? I picked that one cuz it was the most likely, you know, that whatever. Just because of cell phone that was showing, you know, his location or whatever he stopped going and stuff. So, most likely that, you know, that would be a spot or a site. So, I hit that or whatever. I feel confident we did good there. >> Good for you, man. I'm proud I'm like good that you guys were digging into things without having to go into it, but >> Yeah. No, yeah. And what I I cheated. I don't I didn't really tell my bosses that, but I don't lie either. So, we're out there, and I'm like, you know, I brought shovels and crap, and I'm like, You got to have a god damn Bobcat on this property. So, sure enough, I pull back up to the house to talk to Tom. I'm like, Any chance can we borrow You got a front end loader or Bobcat? He's like, "Ah, use it. Do whatever you need to do." So, sure enough, I jump in and I'm like, "Well, he's like, "Yeah, go ahead and take it." I'm like, "No, it's not go ahead and take it. You're going to have to show me how to operate this thing first a little bit." So, that's what you know, we did certainly. Jumped on it and uh whatever. I drove it out there and started digging away. And Yeah, let's kind of leave it at that, but [ __ ] heads. And then, we just So, whatever. I'm here's the state guy, police helicopter, you know, somewhere. >> Oh, you got to fly that? >> Yeah, I'm in the back. Yeah. Here's the last of the farm here. So, I don't know where the farm is. >> Do you guys have like infra >> Yeah, and this is actually for like heat, but let's see. >> Actually it's already out. >> We lifted up from the airport and we just literally lifted up and they already zoomed in on this house from Aderin. >> Really? >> With the camera system. I'm like they're like I'm like okay it's just GPS. >> a bunch of like coordinates or something? >> Yeah, it was already punched in cuz I had I don't know how many coordinates is I already gave them GPS spots. I think it's literally like 50 pieces of property so I think we had all like 50. >> Kept busy for a while. >> Yeah, but we didn't do all 50 but nonetheless you know they're here and they come in at the airport landing or whatever. So if you're so that's my leg or knee or whatever but come in and you drop them down but not so here's I'll see. >> Yeah, that's that's your pile. >> Yeah, yeah. So two DNR guys and a state police so anthropologist chick. And then we even went down probably a little like 3 ft down in the ground. >> Yeah, it's kind of clay in some areas too so it's not the you know I mean it's not the easiest to dig or whatever. >> Right. >> And we had a cadaver dog. I had all state police people with me. Looks like DNR kind of state police but anyway. >> Can the cadaver tell the difference between like animal and human? >> Yeah. And there's the pile and there's obviously the cadaver or whatever it's probably you know took it moved it over here and then moved it all back. So. >> All right. So I I appreciate it. >> Yeah. >> I obviously already know if you're here or something get a hold of us and I just hope someday that we get the phone call from Dale saying she's here. I'm coming to you soon lady and you whatever. >> You know I'm going to be a pain in the ass to call everybody. >> Yeah. Oh and that's exactly it. That's exactly how I'm going to say it to her but you know I have to try to refrain myself a little bit. >> Right. Thanks. Yep. You got time? >> Yeah. >> Look at her first. This is what I mean. This is I obviously for the eye. Bam. The little state police people that are doing the cell phone thing, they actually were in town today on a uh talking to prosecutor on a a homicide deal. I'm sorry, not even homicide. The all the shootings the city of Adrian's been having. Um so they were in town uh talking to them and they were supposed to be coming over to us afterwards and they never made it. Um it's kind of start to go over this stuff, the phone things. So, what's that? Let's give you this. >> Okay. >> Uh a couple of things uh just speaking with your son. Um We've been over a million times. I'm trying to relieve alleviate you. You you know, I told you I told your son, you know, at this point unfortunately, just because of statistics, you are that number one thing right now. Um D is the number two thing. >> You know what I mean? D >> D is the number two. Uh I told him I I just want her to show up. I'll I'll lay into her like thing after a little bit, but at this point Uh we're still uh there's I told you there's that one other guy. I started looking into him and I'm still looking at that. Uh hopefully tomorrow I hopefully will track him down and actually interview him tomorrow. >> Did you ever talk to him? >> I did not. Um is I don't know but who's who's >> It's uh farm [clears throat] manager over by Let's say Onsted Rowland area. >> Okay. >> Why? What what's the deal with him? >> I know she was pretty chummy with him in her emails or nothing else, text messages or what have you. >> Okay. Did you ever confront her about him or something? Well, >> I asked her about him, but she just moved on. >> I got you. It's the answer I would expect. I got you. Uh some text messages uh sometimes we don't get. Um phone companies have really changed. They just obviously if they're on the phone like your phone, we'll get your you know those we get. But when we do like search warrants on phones, we don't always get everything. >> get the phone number. >> You get the phone number sometimes. And sometimes we do get stuff. It just depends on the company. It depends on how long back. So some So some things will be there and some things aren't. And again, I personally have not seen them yet. Detective Sharp, I got the a female that's been doing a lot of this stuff as well. And obviously again the one that was on here at 10:40 at night or whatever. Which I'm sure you heard. Yeah, he's you know, he's kind of like >> in charge or was in charge of this case. >> Well, and believe me we've had some different talks and that's not you know too professional for me to go into that with you, but I've talked to my boss and and you know, I'm I'm dealing with He's not my boss. I asked I says, "You know what? You haven't been part of your sister's life for the past 15 years. >> There's There's that. Absolutely. And as I I even said that. >> He's like telling me all this stuff. I know my sister. You don't know your sister. >> Absolutely. >> I says, "Why did your sister >> Yeah. >> He said, "Well, she didn't know that. >> Hey, and that's it. Don't you know, you don't need to whatever. >> I lost the battle. I mean, I I did everything I could do to push her towards him because she's the he's the only family she had left. >> Yeah. Then there's the other you know, the guy on the phone I was talking about you guy or whatever. You know, he's like, "Oh, she would never talk to him." They went to school together, you know, and everything I checked into >> He said he was >> checked out, you know. >> He was saying something about the talk about turkey turkey chips or something. >> and what is but it is true cuz I mean, you know, we go there and we get the phone and then and when I talk to him, you know, he's telling me that and I said I don't partner out there because he's going nuts, you know, and she goes, "I won't buy the house. What the hell are you doing that for?" And she would never talk to somebody that has a house like that. Really? I mean, you know, I went to you know, Brit and myself. She wanted to come see. I probably told just about anybody at school. >> 87. >> Okay. >> Same year, right? Um so, you know, it's just one of those deals that whatever, you know, really. She can talk to whoever she wants to type of thing. And then I don't think that would by any means, you know, but anyhow, you know, I get a full statement from him and that's not to say that no, he didn't do something, but I mean, at this point we're pretty adamant that no, that guy is basically harmless, didn't do anything, so Um I don't know what I don't know what it was. >> [snorts] >> The the polygraph thing. Um like I said, you know, I'm not going to hit I'm not here to beat you up or anything like that. I I we've been over this. I want to focus elsewhere. >> [snorts] >> You know, it's just one of those things, you know. Those are the questions. If you do that again, then I I can literally focus a lot more at other stuff and and I can even tell other people that knock it off, you know, he's done everything we asked him. >> Even if I do that, they're not going to knock it off. >> We've been over that one and you're absolutely right. I I I agree with you on that, but that's it. So, will you do it? >> I'm not interested at this time. >> Okay. >> I can't say I won't in the future, but >> Okay. Well, and I appreciate that. >> see the point right now. >> And I'm not going to and I'm not going to beat you up on that anymore because I've asked you, you know, and that's it and the same thing, man, a word or whatever and that's it. So, if you ever change your mind, let me know. >> Okay. >> And I mean, literally this is what I'm going to do. I am going to completely turn my focus right now, You know, based on everything, you know, there's numbers, statistics, and unfortunately, my focus has to be straight I mean I'm a man, I'm a straight forward. My focus has to be here somewhat. Don't get me wrong. I'm still got people doing everything else including myself. That's why I'm the one that's interviewed these other guys. >> Has Dale come up with anything on phone calls and phone records or >> We have uh yes, we have in some aspects um and some things are somewhat jacked up and you, but it's not as easy as you think what the you know, there's professionals that read that tell us things. It shows you like at 3:00 a.m. you know, being at places or whatever, but I'm not going to tell you that and be wrong. So, rather than that be the case, we want them to be more accurate >> I'm going to be places at 3:00 a.m. cuz I'm still working. >> talking we're talking that night. We're talking you know, that night. >> Oh, that night? >> Yeah, and then you had said no, you know, whatever midnight, 1:00, 2:00 a.m. you know, you didn't go to sleep at 2:00, but you're here on the couch whatever. But, rather than being wrong on that and then when Detective Sharp started checking into it, the professionals will look and they can explain on why it's bouncing off of a tower you know, saying you know, certain things. So, rather than us Yeah, rather than us get it wrong and tell you what the hell, why why'd you tell me you're in bed at 2:00 a.m. when it tells me you're elsewhere? So, I don't want to tell you stuff and then be wrong about it. >> say like the next day or whatever. Yeah, I'm I'm working till 2:00, 3:00 in the morning. >> Yeah, I'm flat on stuff. >> Yep. Um >> Yeah, my my phone kind of never stops moving. >> Dale Warner was charged with the murder of his wife Dee Warner and with tampering with evidence after her disappearance in April 2021.
