Wait right there. Don't move. You understand? You understand? >> YEAH. SORRY. YES, SIR. HIS NAME is Marshall Federal, whatever. >> I got another unit head. >> I'm just watching money. I look that way. >> In the middle of the investigation, she apparently decided the best move was to walk away. That decision immediately got worse when she tried to fight an officer after being told to sit down. >> He's going to stay at me. >> She did see what happened. I'm not going to sit down. I probably KNOW YOU'RE NOT. GET OFF OF ME. >> HEY, HEY, HEY, [laughter] HEY. I just found this out. >> That's my sister's boyfriend. >> Turn around. Get your hands behind your back. >> Please wanted Oh, what? [laughter] My sister's boyfriend. >> [screaming] >> I got to look at my phone. [laughter] >> As officers continued their investigation, the employee chose not to press charges. However, a second victim, a guest at the motel, decided to pursue battery charges against her. [screaming] PLEASE GET OFF ME. [screaming] [panting] PREVIOUSLY, she had spent 175 days in jail for a domestic violence battery charge in 2020. She was also on probation from another case at the time of the incident. In the end, the woman was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, two counts of battery by second or subsequent offense, resisting with violence, and criminal mischief. Her total bond was $25,750. She was found guilty of all charges and sentenced to a total of $971 days or approximately 2.6 years in prison. She was also ordered to pay $3,857 in court costs and fines, including a $650 restitution payment. When anger is in control, bad situations tend to escalate. Choosing violence or chaos, even briefly, can lead to consequences that follow you for years and cost far more than the moment felt worth. Moving on to the next case, where an entitled woman refused to pay her own tab at a hotel. >> Came to dinner. I had dinner. She said she was going to pay for my dinner. >> She just sounds like a really bad friend. You have two options. You pay your bill or you go to jail. So, make some phone calls. >> Can you please pay my bill? Okay. I am not spending the night in jail again. I >> All right. He's not paying for your bill. You want to call someone else? Would you like to pay it? >> No, I would not like to pay your bill. >> On November 10th, 2025, officers responded to a bar at a hotel regarding a woman who refused to pay her bill. Here's what happened next. >> I'm sitting I'm just enjoying myself. I don't want to go. I'm I'm okay. I have a little bit of What if I was trying to get this gentleman to go home and sleep with me? Would that be okay? >> Well, we need you to pay the bill right now. >> Okay. I'll pay the bill when I'm ready. >> Well, you're not eating. Like they said, they're closing. >> You know what is the plan for tonight? Would you like to take me to jail, prison, or to have? >> I don't I don't want to. I want you I want you to pay for your bill so we can go about our day. >> You're not going to get me used to that life. I've I've suffered enough. >> Ma'am, we're trying to turn a civil matter into not being a criminal matter. So, I'll just ask you, do you have means of being there? >> Because as of this point, it looks like >> that's kind of your business. >> No, it kind of is our business. >> No, until they quote. No, it's not. It's not. And I'm not interested. >> Can we call somebody who can pay for your bill now? Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Give him a call. >> Okay. >> Call if you ask me to call. Pay my bill. >> So, I have a question. What would you do if you were me in a situation where you went to dinner, your friend said she would provide her credit card over the phone and they're not doing so? >> Wouldn't you then take down the friend's information? >> The friend never showed up. You're the one that I came to dinner. I had dinner. She said she was going to pay for my dinner. It just sounds like a really bad friend. But for >> Okay. So, it's a really bad friend. So, if I give you her address and phone number, can you go talk to her? >> No, ma'am. That's not the way it works. For right now, you can figure your friend situation out afterwards. >> Right now, I need you to pay for your bill so we can move along. >> If what she said was true based on her attitude, then her friend dodged a bullet there. >> Tonight, I just want to get this by Louis Vuitton or do you need my Versace? Take the Versace. >> No, I just need a form of payment so we can get this built. I I mean a form of payment. You want a gift certificate? You want a coin? A couple coins? I don't mind. >> Do you have a credit card or a debit card? >> I actually don't because it was stolen. >> Okay. Do you have cash? >> I have $10. >> Okay. >> And then I can give you a Mexican coin and two others. >> How about How about you call somebody who can pay for your bill? >> I did and they're not answering. So, can I provide you with that person's information? Then you can go to their home and ask them to pay it. >> No, ma'am. We got to figure something out. jacket. >> We got to figure something out. >> Okay. So, what do you want? >> Do you have some kind of electronic payment you could give them? >> You have >> like a cell Apple payment. Cash app. >> I should, right? >> I don't know. Do you? >> Danny, can you do me a favor and give me your credit card number and pay my a please? So I can sleep not at jail tonight. I'm not in the mood at um the Hilton. Sure. I don't care about the hotel. So, one on the walk. It's not fun. It's not fun at all. >> It's not fun. >> Can you please pay my bill? Okay. I am not spending the night in jail again. I If you want to send one of your friends to spend the night in the car with me, they can do that. I'm not spending the night in jail again. It's enough. We're not doing one day on, one day off. Instead of your f Danny, pay my bill. Pay my bill. She showed up at the bar with no money, apparently assuming someone else would handle the tab. When an acquaintance refused to pay after she demanded it, she shifted to bothering a nearby customer and even tried involving the police. >> Are you Are you supposed to sir? >> Sir, >> ma'am, he doesn't want to. Let him enjoy his food. >> Talking to you. I'm not talking to you. >> Okay. Well, he doesn't want to talk to you either. Let him enjoy his food. >> He certainly did when he walked over to my table. >> Well, not anymore. >> Okay. So, can you pay my bill and I'll pay you back? No, ma'am. That's not the way it works. >> You need to figure the situation. >> You're a police officer. >> Ma'am, >> and >> do you have a way to pay for it? >> What would you like? Do you want my wallet? Take the wallet. >> No, they want a form of payment. Do you have >> I don't have a form of payment. You want my car? >> You don't have a form of payment? Is that what it's going to be? >> No. But so, okay. So, I have a question. By law, what would you do right now if your friend promised to pay your bill and take you out for your birthday over the phone and they were not able to do so? >> We're talking about right now. Okay. Okay, >> you dine somewhere. You need to pay a bill. >> If you can't pay the bill, then you will be arrested. Okay. I don't want >> Why would I be arrested? >> After being 5 hours later, >> this is theft. >> It's not theft because I Okay, here. >> Call I I can give you a number of my father. >> Call him and he will provide credit card information. >> Just because your friend invited you here for dinner, >> right? >> But she didn't show up, >> right? And yet you still ordered food and drink, >> right? And she said she would cover it over the phone >> as a gift to me. >> No, because that would be your personal responsibility at that point. You can't just do >> in that situation by law. So >> it's not it's not a law thing. It's a personal responsibility thing. However, it wasn't for services because what if I give you and provide you with an address and credit card information where my father lives and my mailing address and there you can get all of my information. >> I am not right and I but I am also not a thief. >> So, what does one do in this situation? The officer still gave her a chance to call somebody to pay for her bill. And to nobody's surprise, no one wants to do that. >> We're giving you the opportunity for an out. I want you to keep trying calling people. Stop talking to us. Try to find a solution. >> Well, no, because there I don't know the law, but there has to be an expert. >> You have you have two options. You pay the bill, you go to jail. These are your options. Try to figure it out. We're giving you options. >> So, when somebody doesn't make their credit card payment on time, >> I I don't want to talk to you any further about credit card bills. You have two options. You pay your bill or you go to jail. So, make some phone calls. >> I don't care who you call. I want you to call someone who can pay the bill. >> You're a good man. >> I got talking. >> And you know, >> I've been I've been listen. I've been I've been patient with you this whole time. >> We need to figure out a solution to this. I'm not going to stand here all night. >> Could you please pay my bill tonight? >> Do you want me to talk to him? >> Yeah. >> Sir Mario Pros Police Department. I'm with Simona here. Um, she she needs to pay a bill and she stated that you're able to provide means to pay for her $66 bill. We're dealing with a criminal matter. All right. He's not paying for your bill. You want to call someone else? >> Would you like to pay it? >> No, I would not like to pay your bill. >> Why? >> Ma'am, keep calling. Stop talking to me and keep calling. >> I've been patient with you for way too long. Let's figure out a situation. You >> want to call mom or dad? >> Are you going to pay my bill or not? >> You want to look up the law with me? >> No, I don't. I want >> I've got a law school. >> Okay. I want to figure out a way for you to pay for your bill. >> This is what it looks like when you've run out of people to lean on. With no options left, she fell back on the classic bathroom excuse. It didn't get her anywhere with these officers. >> I have to use the bathroom. >> We're not doing that anymore. No, I have to pee. >> We're not doing that. You can pee at the jail if you can't pay right now. >> I'm not going to jail again. It's not enough. You're not going to get me used to that. You're not I cannot >> I've never met you before. >> Tell me though. I asked You're You're in law enforcement, right? >> So, what is the law when somebody is promised to be taken out to dinner? >> Yeah. One last chance >> and have that paid. I don't have a jail. >> Okay. >> And have that paid for. One last chance for what? I don't know who I'm going to call. Don't do that. Get up on your back. Get up. Let's go. Okay. Okay, hang on. Uhuh. Uhuh. We're not going to resist. We're not going to add more charges. Okay. >> No, that's fine. >> All right. I'm going to lock them so they can tighten up on you. Okay. >> Do you have anything on you that we should know about right now? >> No. >> Okay. Okay. Have a seat. Come on. Have a seat. All right, I'm going to reach over just to get the seat belt. You want to lean back for me? Just lean back for me. I'm going to reach over to get a seat belt. The woman was charged with theft and trespassed from the establishment. Adults pay their own way. Responsibility doesn't magically transfer to friends, strangers, or law enforcement on demand. Once accountability is rejected, the system takes over, and the price is often much higher than the original bill. Moving on to the next case where an unhinged woman got the police called on her for destroying a hotel room. >> No, a widow bit me. Part tarantula, part black widow, part playing mantis. >> Take a step back. >> No, the thing has not my glass. >> On December 19th, 2024 in Wisconsin, officers were called to a hotel for a disturbance involving a 30-year-old woman named Danielle, who was reportedly yelling and causing a scene. Police were already familiar with her due to multiple prior arrests related to disturbances, including disorderly conduct, trespassing, and battery on a law enforcement officer. Officers were also aware of her struggles with drug use and mental health issues. According to the probation office, the Department of Corrections had paid for her hotel room. Here's what happened next. Being thrown. >> Don't worry, guys. [screaming] >> All right, fair enough. Killian, >> go down [screaming] to that thing. There's a mirror here. Use cigarettes. Use cigarettes. There's my window there. >> Okay, Killian, we got to get going. >> That's latex. Cool. And your point. >> You can go. >> I'm killing. I got you to leave. >> No, I don't. >> Yep. We >> I GOT MY GLASSES. DON'T KILL THAT BLACK WIDOW. >> GO AHEAD AND OPEN THE DOOR for us. >> I DON'T HAVE GLASSES. DON'T STAY ON MY DON'T SHOW MY >> Just take one step back for me. Just relax. >> No. Widow bit me. Licked me. Okay, just relax. I'll look. >> Don, that thing is epic. >> I'll look at what you're looking at. >> Not even sure what that is. >> Part tarantula, part black widow, part playing mantis. >> Take a step back for me. >> Don't kill that. >> Okay, we won't kill it. >> It's a male or female. Can you tell the difference? >> It's a male. >> Does it eat the head? >> It does. >> Cool. A female licked me over there. Licked, not bit. >> There's spiders. Must be >> And there's leather in the bathroom. I have neurophobia. >> Okay, it's okay. >> Why do I have to leave over? I know I have to go to heaven's place. My glasses are right there. Okay. You know how I see. Not with this one. Want me to have a nice saw? There's a thing there. Now I have A MIRROR PHOBIA. >> I'M NOT WEARING SHOES. >> JUST RELAX. >> I THOUGHT I WAS BEING WEAK FOR A WEEK. I'VE BEEN HERE two days. My wallet's in there. Can I have that? Get out. >> With how agitated and unstable she is, the officers then quickly put her in handcuffs. >> Get out. The hotel is a private establishment. They do not want you here anymore. >> I'M AWARE. I'M DONE SHINY YOURSELF. >> WHAT DO YOU have there? Do you Is that your glasses? >> No thing. That's not my glasses. >> Stop now. >> WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? >> I DON'T HAVE GLASSES. >> The kicking kick. >> Are you okay? Are you okay? >> What? >> Okay, you calming down. Let's get the hair out of your ass. >> Hold on. >> Quit this. >> Why am I being arrested? Okay. I just want to cigarette. >> Can't be causing a large disturbance in a hotel, so you got to relax. >> Dude, I can't see. >> Okay. Well, do you have glasses? >> No, they're broke. >> Smashing them into the refrigerator probably wasn't the right call then. Stand up. >> You hate my life. >> Do you have shoes? >> Three, four pairs of them. Kill me. >> Let me just look for shoes. >> Don't kill that thing. That's my kid. I know. Heather Pro called me. I don't have a cell phone. I'm not allowed to have them. No, I'M NOT WEARING THOSE. THOSE AREN'T MY SHOES. >> Then you'll go in your socks. I don't care. >> Yeah, I don't care either. Which I was >> The officers then escorted her outside the hotel and into the squad car. On the way, she continued to talk nonsense and threw out profanities. >> Cigarettes. Is that too much to ass? I was somewhere. Get 2020 vision already. Piece of pull my sock off. Seriously, can I pull my sock off? Can I pull MY SOCK OFF? SORRY. SORRY. I HAVE A KNIFE ON MY GUNS ALREADY. >> SOUNDS GOOD. THANKS, >> STUPID. Learn to prostitute yourself better. Let her fight me. >> Quit holding me up so high. If >> you stop resisting, calm down. >> Quit being a tall, >> dude. Seriously, that hurts. It really hurts though. You're tall and short. >> Hey, stop that. >> I don't have pockets. >> Well, got to make sure you don't have any weapons. >> I don't have pockets. OKAY. I DON'T HAVE POCKETS or piece of >> I can do it myself. >> I can button that thing myself. >> Okay. Well, we're going to do it for you anyway. >> Sorry. My shoes denim. >> We'll throw them out at the garbage or at the deal. >> Yeah. Nothing but a worthless piece of trash. >> Uh, you want to talk to him real quick? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Killian, >> what? >> Knock it off. >> CAN I HAVE A CIGARETTE ALREADY? >> NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE A CIGARETTE. YOU >> CAN'T KILL ME. HELLO. SO, we're going to take her to jail. >> So, she's out of the room. Obviously, there's damage to the room. Looks like she knocked stuff over and whatever. Going to take one picture of the room and then go up to jail. >> Those are my shoes. >> I only took one picture just to show the room was a mess, but if there's something broken, >> um, then I would take a picture of that and let know she damaged your roof. All right. Good luck to you. In the end, she was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both are repeat offenses. She was later released on a $1,000 signature bond. As for the trashed hotel room, the probation office reported being build $1,500 for the damage caused by Danielle. The hotel's general manager said they did not wish to press charges, only to be reimbursed for repainting the walls and replacing three lamps, a table, and two chairs. Just when the officers thought they'd seen it all, along came a mother and daughter duo who went crazy after being told to leave the hotel. [screaming] >> You're getting a room in Mexico. >> GO BACK TO MEXICO. >> ON JUNE 19TH, 2024, officers responded to a hotel for a call of a disorderly guest screaming and fighting with another guest. When the officers arrived, they were met with extreme hostility from the woman. >> Police department. >> Police department. [ __ ] off. How about that? >> No, you're good, bro. What's going on? >> [ __ ] off. >> You guys doing okay? >> Yeah. Really? >> Yeah. [ __ ] off. Shut the door. But her attitude didn't improve. There's other people here. >> Jesus. >> Quit yelling. >> Come on. >> SHAKING YOUR [ __ ] HEAD. >> WHILE THE employee inspected her filthy room, she grew more agitated and confrontational toward them. All with the cops standing right there. Not the smartest choice, I'd say. >> [ __ ] There's nothing wrong with this. I used to clean rooms. >> Tone it down. There's people other people here. [screaming] >> THE WOMAN was charged with multiple counts of assault, battery on a law enforcement officer, criminal damage to property, and resisting arrest. When tensions rise, pause and collect yourself. Cooperation and staying calm help situations deescalate. Fighting or arguing, particularly with police, often leads to more serious consequences. Let's move on to the next case where an entitled woman refused to leave the hotel and ordered the cops to find her a place to stay. >> You're not. >> On February 4th, 2023, officers responded to a hotel regarding a disorderly woman who refused to leave her room after being told she could not get an extension. Here's what happened next. Mommy, please. Back. >> All right. So, what's the deal? >> The deal is you guys are supposed to help me find a place because I put out applications to find a place to live and to have my dog and find a job, but there's nothing. I'm drug tested because I'm diabetic. I'm trying to get my CDL. I've asked for no smoking around me. There's a lot of drugs going on. I've asked for another week because I have stuff in storage and I'm moving stuff here. I'm back and forth. My kids have learning disabilities. I have them on certain days of the week. So, I asked them not to go in my room. When they do, they search my bills. >> Okay. But you can't stay here. They have told you. >> I HAVE ASKED THEM FOR ANOTHER WEEK >> and they told you no. Okay. Because they're going in and stealing. >> So here yesterday I told you that I needed help finding a place that I can have my dog. >> Ma'am, THAT IS NOT THE POINT. >> THAT IS THE POINT. >> IT'S NOT. IT'S THE COUNTIES. IT'S THE COUNTY. >> BUT WE'RE NOT THE COUNTY. >> YOU'RE PART of Lucas County. I lived in Lucas County. BUT WE ARE NOT. >> BUT YOU GUYS HAVE TO HELP BECAUSE NOBODY ELSE IS HELPING. I GO TO WOOD COUNTY. THEY TELL ME THAT THEY CAN'T HELP ME BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE MY kids full time. I GO TO FULLMAN COUNTY. THEY TELL ME THEY CAN'T HELP me because I don't have my kids all the time. I GO TO BOWLING GREEN, THEY TELL ME THEY CAN'T help me cuz I don't have my kids full time. BUT I CAN CLAIM THEM BECAUSE I'M DIVORCED on my taxes. Okay. So, who's wrong? >> That has nothing TO DO WITH >> I GUESS IT DOES. YOU GUYS AREN'T DOING YOUR JOB. THEY'RE NOT DOING THEIR JOB. YOU GUYS ARE NOT HELPING ME FIND A >> Why would it ever be the hotels or the police's job to find her employment or housing? And she still wasn't done ordering the officers around. >> I get I'm diabetic. I have insulin and needles in there. I do not want them in my room. I have um my guinea pigs, my dog. I do not want them in my room because they're going through my bills. They're getting my name, my first name, my last name, where I used to live. where I used to live is getting trashed. So again, you guys need to help find me a place to live because I was wrongfully on channel 11 news. I was not supposed to be when I was missing. I was in the hospital. So that's Channel 11 News fault, the police's fault. I was not supposed to be. So again, you guys need to help me find a place to live where it's safe for my kids and where I can have my pets and where there's no drugs because if I have side effects on my medication, I do not want cigarette smoke around me. Okay, ma'am. I have a question for you. If you knew there were the drugs and the cigarettes and everything, why didn't you move to like another hotel? >> I didn't know until I was here. I'm here for 3 weeks. I cannot be around drugs. I'm here because I'm putting stuff in storage. >> Okay, but there's >> Okay, 15. >> I HAVE TO GO DOWN LOCKING ME OUT. >> OKAY, I'm not. >> No, I already No, I'm not playing this game. >> With her refusing to listen to them, the officers finally had enough and began to take action. >> He's a ple German Shepherd Rottweiler mix. He's a really good dog. Just he had a rough start and he bit my exboyfriend because he drive my keys on my hand, my car keys. So my dog bit him. So yes, he's bit one person, but only one person and it was A LITTLE SCRATCH. MY DOG GOT BIT BY WHOEVER OWNS that brave ant down there. That was a pitull just recently. We told her yesterday gone by. >> Okay. BUT >> MY DOG JUST GOT BIT A LITTLE WHILE AGO before at 10:30. No, >> you guys need to help find me a place to live. That's not the point. Well, the counties are >> Step away. Step up. >> NO, I'M NOT DOING THIS. NO, YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN. NO, YOU GUYS HAVEN'T DONE THIS BEFORE. NO. >> NO, YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN. THIS IS WRONG. NO, I already been THROUGH THIS. YOU GUYS HAVEN'T DONE THIS TO ME BEFORE. DAD, YOU GUYS GET OFF ME. NO. GET OFF ME. DAMN IT. You guys are not doing this to me again. No. NO. YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS TO ME AGAIN. I GOT TO LISTEN TO EVERYTHING AGAIN. You guys are just stupid. >> As she was being escorted to the car, she started to limp out, forcing the officers to drag her to the vehicle. >> And then I got in the car accident and then I heard everything. So >> this I'm about to pee my pants. SERIOUSLY. STAND UP. >> NO. >> We're going to come around. >> NO. I'M NOT GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN. NO. >> NO. NO. YOU'RE LYING. OH, YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BREAK MY ARMS. >> STAND UP. >> I'M NOT standing up. I'm going to pee my pants. >> No. >> Oh, I'm not going for this again. >> MY LEGS ARE >> NO. STOP. MY LEG IS OVER THERE. WHAT? YOU DID THIS TO ME BEFORE I LOST MY DUDE. You guys can't do this to me again. >> Damn. You had all you had all day yesterday, last night, today. >> They keep backing me out of my room. I need to go pee. >> Seriously. >> And this isn't right. >> I need to go to the bathroom, please. We're not We're not going into the room. >> I need to go to the bathroom. >> I need to seriously go to the bathroom. >> We are not going into that room with that dog in there. >> Okay, I can troll him. >> Is he going to bite us? >> No. If one guy stand off to the side. >> NO, HE WON'T BITE. >> Or if you lock yourself in the room. >> I'm not GOING TO YOU GUYS HAVE THE HANDCUFFS. I need to pee. Seriously. >> Don't videotape us. Seriously, >> they have the right. >> No, they don't need to VIDEOTAPE HIM. >> YOU'VE BEEN YELLING at everybody. >> Okay, I need to go pee. Seriously? >> Yeah. >> I need to go. >> We'll get you back to the station. >> BUT ALL this drama here isn't help. >> Despite her fate having already been sealed, she still tried her best to resist the officers. >> Seriously, I need to pee. They're lying. I need to go pee, you guys. I need to go pee. >> Stop struggling. Let's get to the station and we can pee. Okay, >> I need to go pee. >> Let us get to a place quickly. We're not doing that here. >> We're not going in that room with that dog. >> He's not going to bite you, please. I can't move that dog. Just open the door. I won't barricade myself in. Please, >> I need to go pee. >> You're in custody. >> YEAH, BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE LIARS. >> THIS IS ALL in trouble. >> NO, YOU I NEED to go pee. I seriously need to go pee. You guys have done this to me. When you get back to the station, >> I need to go pee. Seriously, >> let's get going. >> I NEED TO GO. I'm here. >> I need to go pee. >> Stop that. YOU GUYS HAVE DONE THIS TO me before. >> I need to go pee. [screaming] >> Turn around. >> NO, YOU GUYS ABUSED ME WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. >> Turn around. >> Do what we're asking you to do. Stop making it difficult. >> Hospital. But I asked for help AND YOU GUYS ARE DOING IT AGAIN. NOPE. >> ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS stand up. >> Nope. I've asked to go. >> You're creating this situation yourself. >> NO. NO, I'M NOT. You guys are I need to go pee. You guys are lying. Lying. I need to go. I can't lose my dog. >> You're not going to lose your dog. >> Seriously. Please. >> And you do this. We're going to put leg shackles on you. Okay, I need to eat. I'm not I do not want to lose my dog. >> She's not going to lose the dog. >> Hey, listen to me. >> I NEED TO GO PEE. >> We get Listen to me so I can tell you something about the dog. Okay, >> we're going to call our animal control officer. >> We'll get the dog and we have a kennel. >> Okay, I lost my >> calm down. Let me explain to you. Seriously, I'm not period. >> Let's get to the station then. >> I mean, my stuff is in the bathroom. >> We can get you what you need if I need to. >> No, you guys didn't tell us. I just need to go pee and wipe. >> We're not doing that here. >> I need to go pee. >> We're not doing that here. >> She was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. When a hotel tells a guest to leave, that decision isn't up for debate. Once police are involved, it stops being a discussion and becomes an enforcement issue. Blaming officers or expecting them to fix personal disputes won't change the result. It only turns a basic trespass situation into a criminal problem. The smarter choice is to comply, even if you think the situation is unfair. Cooperation lowers tension, reduces risk, and gives you room to deal with the issue later without piling on extra charges. Let's move on to the next case where an entitled couple harassed hotel staff over a refund that's not the staff's fault. >> If you've been trespassed already, I need your driver's license. No, you're not getting my >> I'm going to ask you. I have not. You're going in. >> Don't you touch what THE >> Stop being dramatic, ma'am. Your problem is that you keep thinking you know the law better than I do. I've been doing this a long time. >> On November 4th, 2024, officers responded to a hotel regarding a couple who were causing a disturbance over a payment issue. Here's what happened next. yellow one. Yeah, this guy >> because they're saying we charged them for three nights. >> Okay. >> We only charge them for two nights. There is no way in our system to charge without it being attached to a folio. >> Okay. >> Screaming and yelling, "Won't the owner don't want to leave?" >> Okay. Are they current guests? >> No, they checked out. >> Okay. All right. >> And they're saying they were going to call the cops because we called on them. We did not. I can show you early. >> Okay. >> So, see in our computer system when we run a cord, it goes directly into our system. One, two. Okay, >> here's the first one. >> Here's the second one. >> Okay, >> this one was declined. This is their print out. Shows the declined and the two sales. These two are mimicking because this is a >> right. Got it. >> Authorization. Mhm. >> And then we capture their card when they come in and hand our cards. >> Okay. >> I'm not going to hand them anything. >> Okay. After speaking with staff and reviewing the transaction paperwork, officers approached the suspects to take their statements. America, >> hello. >> We can step out so we have our privacy machine. >> Now, I know you were coming to hospital. >> Okay. So, tell me what's going on. >> Okay. So, I'm going to show you since she showed you her paperwork. >> All right. I was charged here 10428. Right. One night. >> One night. I was charged here twice. We stayed two nights. They charged me three times. >> Okay. >> And I just want my money back. >> Okay. Have you disputed it with your >> I don't need to dispute it with the bank because they took the money. My bank didn't take the money. They took it from me. But they didn't take it. And we've got the proof that they did. And then the lady started getting an attitude with me. And I told her, "No, I want to speak to your boss." Okay. >> She told me her boss is in California. Well, I don't give a about that. She's still your boss and she needs to do her job because if you're not going to get a hold of somebody, then I'll call somebody else. Well, I'm calling the cops. Well, you call them. I'm not going to run cuz I ain't done nothing wrong. >> Got it. >> And we can review the cameras where her boss standing right there behind the had to tell her to stop and be quiet because she was causing the issue. >> All right. So, at this point, they've got one that shows was declined, right? I understand. It's It's going It's going to be between There were four charges. One got declined, >> right? >> Because the guy put in the wrong number. >> Okay. >> Over the phone. >> Right. >> The lady here called me and then we char we put it on his card instead of my card. The first charge was under my card. >> Right. The one that got declined. >> Okay. And then the rest of the charges went to his card under Okay. So, so all all three charges that were taken out are under his car. The one that was declined. Yeah, I can prove. >> She showed me three, but one set of pre-authorization. You know how they kind of hold and still hand. We waited. We waited and we were like, "Okay, wait until this morning." They actually posted. It was posted. Exactly. >> And now my bank account's in the negative. So, I have a huge problem. It ain't a call a corporate pay problem. It's a fixit problem. >> Okay. >> What's going on with them? When a 2-day hotel stay leaves your bank account in the negative, it might not be the right time to vacation. The officers asked the couple to leave, but their refusal quickly escalated the situation and led to handcuffs. >> You have your license or anything? Okay. They've already asked you to leave. They've already asked you to leave. So, you are trespassing ID, sir. They've already asked you to leave. >> Then I will leave. >> No, they you're already you're still here. >> No, they have to ask you if you've been trespassed already. I need your driver's license. >> No, you're not getting my >> I'm going to ask you. I have NOT BROKEN THE LAW. >> YOU ARE NOT GETTING MY LICENSE. >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> What are you talking about? Resisting, man. Are you kidding me? >> Resisting what? >> Resisting what? >> I told you I would leave if you were asking me to leave, sir. That's exactly what I just said. You have no she asked if she asked you to leave. And you have no right to do this. >> If she asked you to leave, >> by the way, this is your department. You have no right to touch me. take my ID or anything. I asked you if you were asking me to leave, you would not answer me, sir. >> You've already been asked to leave. >> Well, then I told No, by who? >> By them. >> I don't care about them. I asked you. >> I asked you directly. If I was being asked to leave, you would not answer me. Then you grabbed me and put me in handcuffs. No, sir. It's not trespassing. I was never asked to leave. We were standing here having a conversation. Ma'am, >> you're going to deny that? >> PULL THE CAMERAS UP. >> DO YOU HAVE YOUR driver's license, ma'am? You're going to deny that? >> Can I have it? >> No. You're going to go in handcuffs as well, ma'am. >> Well, THEN I'LL WALK OUT TO THE ROPE. >> You've already been asked to leave. >> Okay. While I'm leaving, >> you're going in. >> Don't you TOUCH WHAT THE >> Stop being dramatic, MA'AM. >> PUT YOUR HAND behind your back. >> Are you? >> Even with the handcuffs on, they still refuse to listen to anyone. >> I don't have nothing else to say to you. I don't care what you got to say. I have nothing else to say to you. What they're doing right now is illegal, man. >> Okay. >> All right. Ask >> you to leave. >> I asked him if you asked us to leave and he would not answer me. And then he put me in handcuffs for no reason. >> Well, you're being detained right now. >> No, there ain't no detain. I'm in handcuffs. That means I'm going to jail. Let's go. >> You're being detained. >> I'm in handcuffs. That means I'm going to jail. I was not being violent. I was not doing anything. There's cameras on here. >> No, I'm not being detained. You taking me to jail today? >> I'm not taking you to jail. >> No, I'm going to jail. >> Do you want to go to jail? >> I'm in handcuffs. I want to go to jail. Yes. >> No, not baby. Don't talk to her. She's nobody. Oh, you put me in handcuffs cuz I was standing here talking to you. Who do you think you are? >> I'm Deputy Vilhard with the Santa Ros. >> Yeah. And I'll be talking to IA and your boss. >> Well, you don't talk to IA. >> You might. Yeah, you do. Yeah, you do. That's where the formal complaint goes, you know, not when you call and I want to talk to your sergeant type. >> Yeah, I know. I know. >> We were standing here having a nice peaceful conversation about no reason to put hands on anybody. >> Deputy Robin as he asked for my ID and got pissed off cuz I would >> No, you refused to twice. >> Exactly. And I don't have to give you my ID, bro. I have not broken the law. What law did I break? >> Cuz they want you trespass. >> That is not a law. That is not a criminal offense. No, it is not. It is a civil infront. No. >> All right. You know the law better than I do. >> They stole money from me. Out of my kids now. >> That was my grocery money. >> I understand that. But that's a that is a civil issue, but you make it a criminal issue when they've told you to leave and you're >> She told ME TO STAY. SHE SAID, "NO, hold on. Let me go pull up this paperwork." Yes, she did. Pull up the cameras. >> She said, "Go back there and pull up the paper." Okay. Well, there is cameras. >> Okay. >> So, she lied to you and I'm going to jail because she lied to you. >> You're going to jail because she told you guys to leave. And your is if that's your husband or boyfriend, he's already admitted to it as well. So >> the officers then escorted them to the squad car. >> Nobody's broken the law here, man. This is the problem people have. It's right here violating my rights. You think I don't know my rights? Yes, sir. >> You're an expert. >> No, I am. I'm an expert on the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth amendment rights. And my rights are that you cannot ID me unless I broke the law. >> Good. All righty. You want have a seat back here? >> Failure to ID. >> Yes. >> What law is that? >> You're on the property that they asked you to leave. I'm uh Yes, it's 810. Hey, it's 810.011 if you want to look at it. >> The law and I did not trespass if I'm being asked. >> That's trespass on structure structure on you guys. I would leave, man. She did too. And you threw us in handcuffs anyway because we wouldn't ID. Yeah, exactly. We don't have >> fasting is not Look, that's that's civil, bro. You know what his will and not do and we told you we would leave. This is ridiculous, guys. Are y'all kidding me, man? >> Dude, it was ridiculous. That's why we're trying to help you out. >> I was standing there speaking to you, though. I wasn't. >> Yes. But then as soon as Hey, hey, as soon as Deputy Robbins asked you, you started getting super animated and looking like you're going to take off. >> If I was going to take off, I would have left before you guys got here, man. I stayed here and waited on you because somebody think like do you really think this is what we wanted to do? >> No, I don't think this is what you wanted to do. >> We really didn't want to kick you while you're down. >> What I wanted to do either, man. You wanted us to leave. I was >> right. And that's what I'm saying, sir. We're trying to figure out to to get your money back to see what was going on. And all he was going to do was issue a simple trespass warrant, which is a piece of paper. That was it, man. But you made it a lot more by refusing to provide identification when he asked you. >> When I get asked for ID by law enforcement, it makes me feel like I've broken the law. And I'm going to give you a pass warning. We don't know who you are. >> Right. It's just going to say unknown white male with >> I understand that part ID so we can issue that part. But that was my whole my whole thing was if I'm being trespassed I'll leave. You don't need my ID. You don't need nothing if I'm leaving. Right. I'm gone. No more issue a trespass warning because >> you didn't warn. They didn't ask. Sir, >> sorry. I just got to get off this foot. >> You're good, man. You can slide in there. So you told them uh two between two to three times to leave. >> I asked them to leave and asked them at well first I asked them to settle down and I said I'm going to get the paperwork from uh our night audit which uses the transactions for the date. >> Mhm. >> I tried to explain to them and they didn't want they did not want me explain to them. They said all she said was you'll see her she showed me her bank account. I didn't even look at it, but she just turned the phone around. She said, "I have three injuries here." And I said, "Well, one is pending." And I said, "One will fall off." I said, "In um most institutions, they'll fall off between 7 to 10 business days. We have no control over that." But they were they were adamant that we stole money from them >> and that we were going to give it to them. They were not leaving, that they wanted to speak to the manager. Um but I did ask them to leave. >> Okay. Do you mind including that in your statement that you did tell them to leave? >> Okay. The officers then escorted them to the squad car. >> Right now, officer, >> why? By doing five over the speed limit with no seat belt, man. >> That's not the law. You think you know everything is the issue, sir. That's That's your problem. Your problem. Your problem is that you keep thinking you know the law better than I do. I've been doing this a long time. You don't stop. >> You don't. No, it's not, sir. It's not a stop and ID state. >> The man and the woman were charged with resisting arrest and criminal trespassing. You don't win legal arguments by being loud or arrogant. When staff and police tell you to leave, leave. Pride and attitude don't cancel facts. They just fasttrack you from an inconvenience to a criminal charge. Sometimes the smartest move is knowing when the argument is already over. On June 12th, 2022, officers responded to Universal Studios in Florida for a potential incident on the theme park. Here's what happened next. >> Yeah, from him, too, I guess. Do you know what happened? Like >> just when he has a little bit of drinks, he gets a little crazy. >> That's not telling you a whole lot. >> Well, I honestly I don't know if he like maybe like pushed me. I But I didn't like hurt myself any other way, you know. >> Has anybody located her car yet? >> They're still What kind of car is it? >> Oh, Lexus. black like this. >> How close they were? They're still looking. >> He said though that there were security by my card when he was looking. >> Is your car like he doesn't pay anything for it? >> All my name. >> Yeah, they're already in contact with >> a car. Damn it. >> How is he supposed to get home? Are you driving them home? >> I was supposed to, but I told him, "Hey, like I still want to wear my tent here." He did do two roller coasters. He got really aggressive and offensive with me. >> No, I'm leaving now. I'm leaving now. Leaving now. >> As the officer continued his investigation, she began to show her fake cry with zero tears. >> So, you're telling me now he put his hands on you today? I >> mean, where else did I get this? >> Okay, this this cannot be an assumption. >> I know. >> I know. If you're telling me that he put his hands on you, >> I mean, I wouldn't have gotten this any other way. I'm not going to [ __ ] scratch. >> But the way you're telling me is you're just assuming that he put >> No, he did. He did because it's >> I have pictures of him putting It's not the first time he's like tried to choke me out. >> What? >> So, he tried to choke you out today. >> Well, I don't know how other like if he like how he would do this to me, you know? >> That's what I'm asking. Like I I cannot I cannot just go off an assumption. >> Okay. >> So, the first time is >> Okay. Where where did this happen? >> Over there. >> Okay. It's a very big park. Where where in the park did this happen? >> Probably like on the by the locker rooms. >> Probably by there. Or did it happen? Um, just like I just don't really hate like like he puts his hands on me a lot. Like >> Okay, you have to understand what I'm asking. >> I know. I know. >> If he put his hands on you today, that that's a very that's a very significant event that happens. Okay. So, this >> when you sit here and you tell me, "Oh, well, how else would this happen?" I I don't >> I know. I know. I know. I I need very specific details about what happened. >> It's crazy how her crying starts and stops depending on whether she's looking at her phone or not. The victim syndrome is strong with this one. >> So, if you guys got into a physical altercation, I need to know about that and what happened, not well, how would this happen? There's a lot of ways that you could be on a ride and get >> only went on two rides. I wouldn't have He probably >> tried to choke me out and I probably moved in a way. >> Okay, I get it. But it's not it's not >> probably. I know, but >> Okay. It's He either put his hands on you and did something or he didn't. Okay. It's not an assumption. It's not probably this. It's It's one or the other. >> He did because it's not the first time. >> Okay. We're not talking about the past. about the >> look. Look up. Look up for me. >> Okay. That's not That's not today though. >> I know. >> Okay. >> But let's look up. >> Do you want to write a statement about what happened? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Do you have all your stuff with you? Where's your stuff at? >> No. I don't want to leave yet, though. This is my first time here. Like I'm like, >> "Yeah, I got you." But we're going to need that so we can all just head over there and make contact with your ex and figure it out from over there. This is a bigger incident now than just like I want to stay in the park, right? We got all these people involved. He's over there. He needs to go. >> After a while, the officers located the male whom she claimed was choking her. And his side of the story was totally different from hers. Are >> you Cristiano? >> Yes, sir. All right. What happened? >> All right. So, as uh they did a call over the intercom saying that the park's closing, >> the lightning and may so I get two [ __ ] rides. Obviously, I seen her face. I've known her for a few years. She's a little intoxicated. I said, "All right, well, you stay then and I'll start heading out." So, as I was trying to leave, she went ahead and started scratching me, pinching me, pushing me, and I was like, "All right, come on now. Let you got a lot of people here." figured it out. So, there was two employees that worked in Volcano Bay. It was a short lady and a taller lady. And I said, "Yo, can you call security?" She's like, "You for real?" I was like, "Yeah." She's like, "Okay." And she kept walking. She called security. So, I said, "Look, now you got security involved. You see you're acting up fuck." So, the one guy came over and said, "Hey, come come over here. Let's talk it out." As they were calming her down, I said, "Oh, I got to go cuz this I already know it's a fiasco with these." So, as I was leaving, I say, "Hey, I'm going to get my stuff." I go to the locker room and tell the the girl, "Hey, this is the locker number. I need my wallet and my ID >> so I can get proceed to leave." And she's like, "Well, I got to check first." I said, "No problem. Here." I said, "There's my wallet. Open up." So, this is me, right? Smile. This is my ID. I'm not taking I put her wallet back inside. Close the locker. As I'm walking away, she's like, "What? What the [ __ ] You're leaving?" Got aggressive and and I just took off. So, as I left, walked fast. I came here. I said, "Hey, can you open your door? I just want to get my stuff." She said, "Oh, you're going to break my my windows. I'm calling the cops." I said, "Call the cops." He's over here looking for me. Supposedly, I'm doing all this [ __ ] and I'm over here like, "Yo, I'm over here waving him down." So, I mean, come on. This girl obviously is out of her mind. >> What's your What's your guys' relationship? >> I mean, we're together, but I'm really trying not to because there's always dating. Are you guys intimate with each other? >> We're both whatever. We're [ __ ] we chill. We smoke. We drink. I mean, you know, what do you want me to say? >> The officers then came to talk to the security guard who had witnessed the incident. >> Right off the bat. >> Fantastic. >> Yeah. her uh her story was just gods too where I was >> I mean dude I mean this is crazy morse her her story was literally well like how else would I have back she got to work right here I'm like that's not that's we're not I'm not going under an assumption that something happened like how else would there's plenty I'm like you went on rides like it could happen on a ride >> okay cool all right let me go get with so real Um, was there any call put out about this? He's saying he spoke with two security officers at Volcano Bay or flagged him down and told them to to get somebody. >> That Cole was the only one that interacted with her, I believe, but we can ask him. >> Okay. Yeah, he's he's saying he specifically waved down two uh two team members. She didn't wear. >> Oh, maybe two team members. I'm sorry. >> Yeah, you said call security. Okay, then. >> All right. >> Was she the only one you spoke to in this situation? >> Yes.
