This Florida woman who refuses to leave Walmart over phone issues gets arrested instead. Let me lead you, lady. Awesome. Cops respond to reports of an aggressive customer at that Walmart, but a dispute over her phone quickly escalates when she refuses to leave. Take a look. They need me back in electronics. Or at least they did. Hi, my name is Joseph from the OSL rep. I saw the phones here. She came in here. her phone being frozen on the screen. So, I took the SIM out, put in one of the demo phones to see about send a text from our tablet to see if I can search her order in the system, see when she purchased the device and all that stuff. Um, it wasn't recognizing the SIM, so it couldn't send a message. So, I took a SIM out and put it back in her phone. Okay. Try power and cycle the phone cuz it's frozen on the uh on the boot screen. and then uh it wouldn't get past that part like it powered down and went back to the same thing. Now, she's saying that she had two SIMs, but the thing is the phone only takes one SIM. It has a micro SD slot, but there was no micro SD slot. So, are you guys wanting her like this trespass out of here or you want me to help mediate a conversation with her or what? He keeps playing, but she keeps getting aggressive. At this point, we want her trespass. Yes. Okay. All right. Does he want to come? Can you let her know that? And then cuz he's saying, you know, that why would he take it? Yeah. Like what's the point of that? Why would he? Okay, time out. Let's hold the phone for a second and right before we start talking to the possible suspect, right? The customer, if you will. We don't know if she's a suspect just yet, but of course now the deputy has choices, right? Hey, you want to trespass? Fine. We can do that, too. But probably the best idea is So, you know what? Let's just escort her out. So, explain the situation, right? To the police. Yeah. Good. Okay. And there's there's five scenarios to a story. I understand what we we already told you that you know the associate already told you that he hasn't taken any SIM card or anything like that. But you don't want to understand that. So, let me lead you. Okay. So, may I What? What? What are you trying to show me? Can be talking to the police. What? What is it you're trying to show me? Can I speak to you? I We can talk right here. I'm not going to go walking all over the store talking to you. I'm I'm asking in private. Okay. What is it you What is it you have? What's What's the issue you're having? Um Okay. The issue Take a few steps back. I don't need you standing that close to me. What's going on? That's that's the link that is known. Okay, believe me. What is going on? I know military. Okay, but anyway, yes, the fact is that I came here to get my phone replaced was actually um uh two days ago. Exactly. Okay. And they refused to do it. They said there was a problem with the person that sold the phone to me, which is a corporation. It doesn't matter. All right. So, I bring the phone back again. All right. I had a SIM card in it, of course, that was supplied. Okay. And then I put a memory SD in it. Okay. The SD all of a sudden went missing. Okay. Then I'm asking for service and then but hold up. The whole problem is somebody else on my phone which they won't regulate. Where's all the four others? Well, at this point, the issue you're may be having, the complaint you're trying to make is not going to be handled here. It can't be resolved at this level. So, the only option you have is to contact his office that he represents, the company represents, and file a complaint directly through the company. You want me to You want me to contact uh um Eric? No, we don't want you to contact Eric whatsoever. Look, you know what? Push that BS button. If you're new to the channel, I do tell the audience, right, my viewers, to pretend there's an imaginary BS button and push it every time that you feel as though like the person's giving you some BS, right? I'mma push it because I just don't see how the representatives here are trying to help her out and see if they can fix her phone. She's claiming that she needs another phone. She also claimed that they stole or they took her little SIM card, right? Her micro SD card. That's what it is. But I'm not going to buy it. Who's Eric? You want me to show you? All I'm letting you know is that what's going on here is not resolving anything. So, because of the disturbance you're causing at the store, he's going to ask you that you leave. And the only way you can resolve this complaint? Yes, you have. I'm asking them. I have. Yes, you have. I'm not raising my voice to see and Andrew even sees. All right. So, we're going to ask you politely, right? We already told you. We already explained to you that he doesn't have anything. No, they said they could look it up. Um, actually, Derma, where is he at? Talk about Daryl. Yeah. Yes. May I see him, please? Does Daryl have something of hers? Yes, he said no. He said he was going to help. The whole thing is trying to look, but what's going to happen is what I've explained is you're going to have to get in touch with his corporate office and you're going to have to file a complaint directly with them. There's no point in resol in sitting here all night long arguing. It's not going to resolve anything. What? May I speak? Can you please get Daryl? We don't need Daryl to come here. You've been asked to leave and you need to leave. If you want to speak with anyone else, you can call in on the phone and ask to speak with him. Okay. May I call Daryl, please? I need your mom. Is Daryl another rep or is he worked for what? He just before you guys before he Wait, why you guys were over there? He just told me he was going to help me. Me and him was trying to help. No, he just said it. And you guys, are they trying to help you complete a transaction or are you trying to make another complaint? There's nothing. There is nothing he can do. Okay. Daryl is not waiting for him is not an option. You can get your stuff and you can go cuz he's asking you to leave. You've been trespassed. I need a phone, please. May I use a phone before I leave? Thank you. No, you've been asked to leave. They're not going to supply you a phone. With all due respect, what? Okay. Are you going to get your stuff and leave? Am I going to leave? Yes. Cuz you do not need a phone. No one. They're not required to provide you a phone. Oh, absolutely required. Yes. Absolutely. That's the phone you came with warranty. Okay. Then you have to handle that through the corporate office. No, I don't. You're not going to handle it. This is the office I go to. Okay. Are you going to leave the store, Letty? I suggest you step back. Straight out. You know what? I'm making a fair assumption here, but I think his it's deputy Lety. Okay. Let's just go with that. And you know, she's a little demanding. You know, posturing a little bit. My question is is that ma'am, can I see your receipt for the phone? You're claiming you have a 2-year warranty and you bought it here. Let's Let's see. Let's look it up. Let's Let's get the workers. Hey, did she buy this phone here? Just out of curiosity. Cuz that's like the foundation, right? Okay. Are you going to leave the store? Yes or no? Can I call the company? Dermont. And like like the officer said, can I please? Thank you, Andrew. He's waiting for him. If you're waiting for him, that's not what's going to happen. Andrew, thank you, Andrew. May I speak to Derma? Are you going to leave the store like you've been requested? No, I didn't request that. Sir, wait. What? No. No. What are you doing? Hands behind. I'm leaving. I told you. No, sir. I'm leaving. They said no. Stop. No. I said I'm right here. They just said that I was stay right here. I'm going end up cuffing you on the ground. Is that what you want? Sir, I'm Can I please? No. Stop. May I? Right here. Just like you are. I am, sir. I'm Sir I am. But listen. No, I'm being Sir, I'm leaving. No, I'm not going to come. Stop resisting and stand still. Sir, you understand me? No. I just said too late. You've been asked to leave several. No, I'm going to Sir, what are you doing to me? What are you doing to me? Other hand. Sir, what are you doing to me? I didn't do nothing. I'm asking you to talk. There you go. Thanks. Right now. Help me. Politely. Asking you politely to come. No. You guys are crazy. Behind your back right now. Just asking you. You guys are crazy. You better help me. Eric, come here. Eric. 911. 911. 911. 911. 911. You better help me. 911. 911. 911. 911. Blue. Blue. I need you. All of you. I swear to God. I didn't do nothing. I'm asking to talk. Where's your establishment? Get off me. Get off me. Get off [screaming] me. Help. Get off me. Stop. Get off me. Get off me. Sorry. Get off me. Okay. While all this screaming and yelling's going on, code force suspect in custody, right, with incident. uh we're going to have to do a use of force uh report investigation or I should say a use of force investigation for that takedown that uh deputy lady did. And again, if you're new to the channel, I always say this. Three main reasons why you use force. To prevent an escape, effect an arrest, and overcome resistance. I did resist. Get off me. Get off me. [screaming] No, because you're going to try to run off if I move. I'm not Get off me. I've changed everything about you. Get off me. Stop. Get off me. Get [screaming] off me. Settle down. Get off me. I'm telling you. You better get off me. You better get off me. You better get off me. Stop grabbing my leg. I'm in I'm on you. Get off me. You're dead. Get off me. Just to point out, uh, as far as process and procedure is, you're definitely going to have to lean her on one side per policy. A lot of agencies have that. You just can't keep her on the ground in that prone position because you're probably going to cause some, you know, some medical issues, if you will. Get off me. Get I can't breathe. Help me. I can't breathe. I can't. You can breathe. No, I can't let I can't breathe. If you relax yourself, control your breathing, you'll be fine. Sorry. Sorry. Get off me. Hold on. Stay where you are. Get off me. Stop. Get your foot out from behind me. Get off me. Then help me up. Help me up. Not the way you're acting. Okay. You You going to come down now? Yes. Okay. Okay. Help me. It'll help you. You keep acting out. You're going to end up right back on the ground. Okay. All right. Okay. I need to roll you on your side. You understand? I'm going to roll you back onto your side like this. What you need to do is bring your knees up towards your chest. Okay. Bring your knees up. This me. What I'm going to do is I'm going to try to push you back towards your knees. All right. I never lost you. I got to Now, if you'll get on your feet, I'll stand you up. Okay. Here. Put your feet under you. Put your feet under you. Relax. I swear to God. I need my stuff. No. We'll I'll come back and get it. Stop. I need my sir. Stop. [gasps] Should I Should I grab my phone? I can come get the rest of your stuff. No, I need my shoe. No, you're going down. We're going to help you. You're going down, too. Come on. I need the elect. Yeah. Hey, Deputy Lety. I get them all the time, too. You know, in my 24 year career in LAPD, half of that was in the streets. We don't have to talk about all my assignments and all that stuff, but you know how many times I've heard, you know, we're going to sue you and we're going to sue you. And not once did I ever get a a civil suit in the mail or at work? No, no, no. They let me do all that stuff. It's all on camera. Give me my hat. We'll get all your stuff. No, I'm going to show you. You're going You're going down, too. No, I'm trying to get my stuff, sir. I will get your stuff for you. I'm not going to be able to carry your stuff and walk you out of here. They'll stay right there. If he come over, say where he was, you come on. I need my stuff. Hand me my stuff. My stuff is Get my hair out of my mouth, please. We're going this way. Can you get my hair out of my mouth? Stop. Get my hair out of my mouth. Come on. You're going You're going down, too, Letty. Watch. Go on. You're going down. All right, buddy. Come on. Yeah. Lick your lips, you dumb [ __ ] 596. Stop grabbing my finger. No. I thought you're hurting me. That's why. Stop grabbing my finger. 596. You're not getting out. You're hurting me. You're going to see. Lety. Watch. All of you are getting in trouble if you even know me. They were wrong. Oh, you guys came on that in. Yeah, you guys did as you can see. You tell me to stop handling me like this. No, don't let go. You're going to grab and catch me again. Watch. Watch. I'm going to show you all. I didn't do nothing wrong. This is all. Come on. You know, it's worth mentioning that even though as minor of an issue it is as deputies, police officers have respond, you know, in this case being Walmart. You kind of have to take accountability. You meaning the suspect, right? The person in it itself. And we don't we don't take no accountability for our actions. Who created all this was her behavior, right? It's the fact that she wasn't complying. She wasn't even really listening to what the deputy is saying and you're left with using force as a police function for you to accomplish the goal and and that's to kick her out to get her out of there. They don't want her there. So, I just kind of want to throw that out there that when you use force, here's another point that I'm trying to make also is that just because you're handcuffed doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot use force. Can you stop handling me like that? He's going to give you a pat down. You're going to my car. I ain't going to no car because I want to see I know. I want to see the evidence. There's got to be probable cause. You were told to leave and you didn't. No, you didn't. Nobody told me to leave. I asked to speak with you. You've been asked to leave. You've been asked to leave and you need to leave. Are you going to leave the store? Are you going to leave the store like you've been requested? No. You're wrong. And I can't wait to show the integrity. What you want? I'm gonna I want to talk to you. Get me out of these videos, please. Ma'am, that's not going to happen. Okay. I didn't do nothing wrong. I'm going to show you all this embarrassment. More on me. You're going to see all of you. Every goddamn one of you. You're making a fool yourself. You are. You are. It's all on you. It's all on you. And I want to talk to Eard. Oh, I bet I am. I bet you're not. We're name dropping. I'mma call BS. You have to hold yourself accountable for what you did. It's really that simple. You placed yourself in this predicament. I don't have anything, sweetheart. I'm done with my people taking my things. You're done. You're done, Rucky. I'm done. You are my belt. Hey, you want to not pinch me? I didn't. You did? No, I didn't. I need my things. Well, I'm taking it from you. How about that? Thank you. That's my boo. All right. She's good. Good. I I can't sit in the car. I have anxiety. Oh, I'll have her stay right here with you. Move your feet. Get in. I can't, sir. [snorts] Sorry about that. That was going to end up going nowhere. I just sped it up. Freaking knife on. This thing was right where she could have grabbed it if I would have given up wrestling her. He looks familiar. I bet I've dealt with her before. You know, if she destroyed or damaged anything that's either up along the counter's edge or over here. I think so. I know she was kicking this. Yeah, she kept kicking it. I think all it did was lift it up. Awesome. Wonder if she wanted to hold on to her purse. She is out there. Dang, that's like no regular knife. That's like a dagger. I can tell you in the state of California, you're definitely going to find a penal code for that. There's got to be like some statue that you cannot carry a dagger that size. You know, they're not too familiar. I think it's 2 in or 4 in or more than 4 in. is considered to be a dangerous weapon. All that good stuff. So, that doesn't look like it heals either. That's fixed. are not supposed to be out there. That's why I threw the purse out of her hand. You notice I was trying to Yeah, the size of this knife she had in her purse. She had another one in her pocket. This is just laying in her purse. When I went to start to cuff her, she had the purse like over her shoulder, like in her arm, and I kept I eventually just ripped it from her because I I don't know what's in this thing. I might hang on to this. Okay, final thoughts. Let's go ahead and wrap this up. First and foremost, big shout out to Marian County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Lety, and the partners handled business. No nonsense. Took her down. That takedown was pretty spot-on, waiting for your partners to come help you, professional, respectful, and all that good stuff. But the biggest lesson of them all is look, you can turn something so minor into criminal activity, right? It's your actions that dictate how the police interaction is going to pretty much uh determine the outcome. Okay? Hope you learned something. Up next, I'm looking at how an officer gets shot in the head and continues to fight to survive. Hit on your stomach. Dispatch, I've been I've been shot. But that's over on my second channel where I'll be covering some of the most critical incidents in policing history. Okay, so she was charged with battery on a police officer resisting arrest with violence and trespassing. As of now, there are no available court records, news follow-ups, or sentencing details of the outcome of these charges in any public sources. Okay, so you know the deal.
