Do you watch these all the time? >> Watch what? >> These. >> Sometimes. >> Cuz that one lady has not scanned one thing has put a bunch in her bag. The one in the red right there. >> Oh yeah, she's she's doing smart. >> Okay. >> [laughter] >> I wouldn't be able to tell between. >> Cuz like in reality, they could just grab whatever they want and load up. >> Do you know if it's over 750? >> Is it over 750? 1300 >> 1300? That's a felony amount. With that amount, the officer began to put the woman under arrest, but that's easier said than done. >> Okay. Go ahead and stand up. You're going with me. I want charges pressed and it's over $750 which makes it a felony. >> Yeah, it's two tickets. >> I'm saying that. Come on. I'm sorry. Well, you're going to have to. Do not fight me. Stop. >> No, I won't. >> The loss prevention is going to be talking about this all day. Also, why is she putting her bag on? Did she think she was going somewhere? Nope. The only place she will end up is jail. But that doesn't stop her from trying to fight her way out of being arrested. >> [laughter] >> I've tased her twice. >> [screaming] >> Give me the cuffs. >> They're over there. >> Stop. >> Settle down. >> Stop. >> Get them on. >> [screaming] [screaming] [laughter] >> Pay attention. This is what an exorcism looks like in real life, or bathing a cat, or fighting off a rabid raccoon. Either one is fine. All jokes aside, since she was fighting the officers too much, the officers gave her another zappy zap to calm her down and handcuffed her. >> Help. I will taze you if you don't put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. I will taze you again. She acts like she has seizures. She hasn't once had a seizure this whole time. It's an offense. Tased her three times. >> Do you want me to burn that video for you? That's all that is. >> Three copies, please. Just watch your feet. >> [snorts] >> Spidery little thing. >> I'm spidery and good as it before you came in. Can I get my radio to go out? >> I was right there at the red light. >> She had those. She threw them. >> Officer 183 183, thanks. It's 1289 over. >> Watch. Go in. >> She's fighting. She's crazy. >> Fiery little thing. >> A fighter and a good fighter before you came, man. Can I get my radio to work? >> I was right there at the red light. >> She had those. She threw them. >> Stop. >> She resisted how she acted so violently. >> 54, I got buddy. Thank you. >> Here's my other one. >> Ooh, I'm going to need a drink after this one. >> As the officers waited for EMS to come and check on her, they gave her some advice that she should take to heart. >> I'm not getting up. >> You're not going nowhere. >> Do not do it again. Do what? >> Look, it's it's all done and over with. >> It's all on camera. >> cuffs. >> What is >> We got EMS coming to check you out, then you're going to jail. >> Well, I can tell you fighting like that gives you another charge. You need to think about the things you do before you do them. >> You didn't help me react that way for some reason. It just it doesn't even matter if it's physical or automatically. It's just the mental the the >> I'm sorry you have that kind of issues in your life. >> This [snorts] [ __ ] is so aggravating. please. >> you do illegal things, there's a good chance we're going to get involved, which means you got to understand that there's a good chance you're going to jail. >> There's so many resources you can go to that can give you food and stuff like that for your family. I don't know what was in your buggy, but for $1,300 [snorts] worth of stuff is a lot. Okay, there are organizations that can help you with that. And this isn't your first time cuz they have multiple times at Putnam and Gainesville uh pictures of you doing the same thing. >> Um I got a synonym, so I my head seizures and all. >> Seizures don't make you steal. >> After a while, the EMS arrived to get her cleared before transporting her to the station. >> She says she has had a had a seizure. But the whole time we were fighting, she didn't have a seizure until she got to I'll also do it at the hospital. I've already told her. She She climbed up the wall. >> The woman was charged with resisting arrest and felony shoplifting. Moving on to the next case where a dumb shoplifter duo got caught stealing makeup worth thousands. >> You're contributing to the delinquency of a minor. So that's it. >> load of contents in here and no receipt. >> I want to buy something. >> That's why. >> Are you serious right now? >> You guys are both stupid. I'm going to be honest. >> On July 12th, 2025, officers responded to an Ulta Beauty store after reports of a shoplifting in progress. Here's what happened next. >> Stop. >> Put your hands up. Put your hands up. You got any idea on you? >> Yes, can I get it from the car? >> No. >> Hold on. >> You pay for this? >> My mom did. She's in there. >> All right, come here. How old are you? >> 16. >> Come over here. 415, 1045. >> Yes. >> 115, 1055. Sit down for me. >> Okay. >> Breathe. >> Tell your mom to come out here. >> Immediately after getting caught, she made an excuse that her mother, who was still inside the store, had paid for everything. When the fact was that her mother was also involved in the shoplifting, which we will learn about later. For now, let's see this so-called 16-year-old struggling to keep her story straight. >> Quora >> Huh? >> Where's the car? >> Over there. >> What kind of car is it? >> Um I'm calling my mom. I'm on the phone. >> You're texting. >> No, I said 12, come hurry. That's my mom. Can I get my phone back? >> No. What kind of car are you guys driving? >> Can I get my phone back? >> No. 40, my detainee says that they're parked somewhere near the REI parking lot. She's refusing to give me any more details on what kind of car. >> Can I get my phone? >> Not at this moment, no. >> Why don't you go get my mom? She just got here. >> Well, I mean, you texted her. So if she's in there, she should be out, right? What does she look like? >> She's not brown hair. >> You want to go inside to see if there's anyone else inside? She says her mom it's her mom. >> Uh-huh. >> That's what she said. >> I'm sorry? >> I said I'm not a racist. >> You're not a racist? >> No, I said I'm not a racist. I would never say you're a racist. >> Oh, I thought you called me a racist. >> Don't fail me. >> He took my phone, and I was on the phone with my brother. That's disrespectful. >> You think it was your boyfriend? >> No. >> know what what we think is disrespectful? >> Let me tell you what we think is disrespectful. You have a load of con- contents in here, and no receipt. >> one was still in line to pay, so I don't know if they walked in together. This is your mom? >> Yes, this is my mom. She's paying for everything, right? >> I don't know how she's going to pay for everything when all this stuff is outside. Cuz you got to scan that to pay for it, right? Unless there's some kind of magic thing that you you know that I don't know. >> I'm going to go talk to her. You're 16? >> Why, I look older? >> I didn't say that. I was just trying to get your age. Are you from around here, or where do you live? >> Oak Park. >> What brings you out here in North Hollywood? >> My mom works I was being a little [ __ ] >> I find that hard to believe. >> What, me? >> You said I was being a little [ __ ] and I said I find that hard to believe. >> Yeah, I did. >> I know. Do you know sarcasm? >> No. I just want my phone back. >> After we get to the bottom of things, I'll give you back your phone. >> Yeah, I don't care. You can yell at me. You know what? >> I'm not I'm not trying to yell at you. A lot of stuff you have here. I need to make up for last night or leave. If you scan it, I wonder how much >> As the others went inside the store looking for her mom, one officer stayed behind to find out about who she really is. What's your name? I'm going to have to find out anyway, right? It's easier if you just tell me. Do you have a driver's license? >> No. You know then why I can't have a driver's license. >> 16? >> No, you can't. You have to be 18. Yes, I took a permit test. He said you got to be 18. And you got to do four 40 hours of community service or no, 40 hours of service, and you got to call in to do your hours. >> Uh, I mean, I guess things have changed cuz I thought you could be 16. They give you what's called a GDL, graduated driver's license. >> They never give me that. >> Okay. So, mom told you she was going to pay for this stuff and told you go wait in the car? >> No. >> No? >> I just was being a [ __ ] >> Okay. You doing what? Did you Did you tell Mom you were you were going to go out with this stuff? No, you got yourself in trouble. Who's Rihanna? >> You really don't know? >> That's her? >> Yeah. >> And she's your mom? >> Yes. >> So, they're saying that I they can't find you in any of our systems. You said you have a school ID, right? Yeah, that might help me. Where's your car at? >> She got it unlocked in >> Okay. Is it right here, or do I have to go looking for it further down? >> I don't know. Ain't that a good thing you can't find me? >> Not right now, no, cuz it looks like you might be in trouble. >> Why? >> Because you took stuff without paying for it. >> Well, that don't mean I'mma go to jail for it. What? You just had to tell me I'mma go to jail? >> You have to talk to the boss lady about it. >> Tell her I'm trying to wave it away now, never to come back here and here. >> Waiver? There's no waivers out here. >> A paper. >> Is this your first time getting in trouble? >> How you going to ask me all that now? >> No, just asking. >> I just want to go home. I just wanted to be a big >> What did she do make you so pissed off you were going to grab something and walk out the store? >> I wanted ice cream so I could eat it. >> That's why? Are you serious right now? >> Yes. >> For that little reason? >> Yep, it is. Like >> wait till like Christmas or your birthday or something? >> My birthday comes. My dad's going to get it for me. >> year. And you get the iPhone 17. >> I don't know. >> But the thing is, I've been waiting for how long to get a new phone? I work I worked a summer job. >> The phone that you have right now still works. >> I don't Well, I'm not going to get it back then now. Cuz your boss don't want to give it back to me no more. Cuz they just told me not to come back. I got a concert to go to. >> When is that? >> Tomorrow. >> Who's playing? >> But I want to go see Chris Brown, but my mom bought me the ticket today. >> Now, you just want everything from your mom. You want a new phone, you want concert tickets. What else? >> The energy of a spoiled brat radiates strongly from this one with a mix of stupidity. As this officer was dealing with the daughter inside the store, the other officers were able to locate the mother. >> Can you step out real quick? >> Thank you for >> Thank you for your time. I got her. >> Can you get off the phone real quick? >> Yeah. >> Cuz she's going to come here and tell us. >> Mom! You dumb What I do now? >> Believe me, I would You heard me. I want nothing but to get rid of you. >> Right. >> But I can't verify her age. I don't know who she is. She's saying you're her mom. >> I'm 28. >> Okay, I don't know. >> No, we don't know that. We're just asking. Cuz she's saying you're mom. Oh, my mom went in the store. My mom Like how we supposed to say? >> I'm 25 >> I'm years old. >> Do I look like if she's probably 16 years old, would I have a 16-year-old? I got pregnant I have a 10- I can show you my kids. I have a 10- and a a 10- and a 6-year-old. >> Well, that was weird. This one looks too young to have a 16-year-old daughter. Now that she is outside, the officers can confirm one thing. These two are not mother and daughter. >> Where is the car that you guys came in? >> Huh? >> Where is the car that you guys came in? >> come in no car. I just called my sister to come and get me. >> So why did she say you guys came in a car? >> She obviously she's >> I'm sorry. Let me get the first. >> I was just reminding you that she said she was my mom. I'm not her mom. >> What is your relationship with you guys? >> It's a friend of a friend. I don't Oh no, you said you're not the one that the one that just had me in the front. It's a friend of a friend. It's not no like oh, you know I'm all good friends. It's a friend of a friend. >> So who's coming to pick you up? >> My sister's coming to pick me up. >> Okay, well tell her to pick you up at the North Park Police Department cuz I don't feel comfortable until I know specifics cuz you guys are giving me the wrong name. >> Well my thing is though like why do I got her You know what I'm saying? Like >> Because you're contributing to the delinquent of a minor. As far as I'm concerned, she's a minor. So until you can prove, please prove to me that she's not. >> I call my sister then tell her to come and get me. >> Like like I told you, I don't want to keep you. >> No, I'm not. You let me go. That's all I'm trying to have no trouble with you. No, they're not letting me. First they told them to come get me. >> No, we're just going to go back to somebody transport her to back to the police. >> I just take I just >> And we'll just put her like in one of the >> No, they're not letting me. >> We got to verify this later. >> Yeah, I don't know. This is >> Well, we're done with her. You got the receipt. >> I got the receipt in my bag. >> You saw the video. We're going to get the actual video later once we request the link. >> the um Yeah, we got to send her the link. Okay. >> So let's bring her in and we just got to hold her >> When is my car going to be over there? >> With further investigation needed, the officers decided to take both of them to the station. >> Are you going to go and see where the car's at? >> What's that? >> Are they somebody going to go see where the car's at? Are you still not telling us the car you came in? >> Yep. >> Yeah, well we're going to get a new car then. So um going to end up taking her uh and not miss her cuz she's lying about everything. >> Why am I not lying? She just came over there and laughed at you guys. >> What's that? >> She just came by now and tell me not. Well, am I lying? She said my tummy hurt. She's like bye. So I'm going to call your aunt. She just said that. Tell me now she did not say that. >> bye. I don't know what else she said. What's your name? >> Morley >> Morley what? So, it's not your right to tell us we can't search you. You want to call the police? >> to have a woman officer. I am allowed to literally request one. >> for our sergeant here. >> So, then wait for him. >> We are waiting for him to actually do that. >> Great. Can I sit down? >> You're not going to sit down in here because we can't search you and I don't know what happened. So, if you allow us to search you, I'll put you in the back of my car to sit down. >> want you touching me. You guys already hurt me. >> Do you have the items? >> We have everything in the car over there. There's three items that they were stealing. >> That's not true. >> So, here's the thing. You can have those with the judge. He told you you're under arrest. He He's going to be in the He's going to search you. The sergeant is going to come here. >> I want someone else who isn't an [ __ ] who touched me like you did. So, don't talk to me. Thank you. I don't need you to. Thank you. You hurt me. You hurt me for no reason. Thank you. You're abusing your authority and that's not right. You abuse your authority and that's not right. To use that kind of force, was that necessary? Did that make you feel better? >> Can I read you your rights now? >> Sure. >> want to make sure you're going to listen. >> I I don't need you to. I didn't do anything wrong. I paid for everything. >> We'll talk about that once I read you your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand each of these rights as I've read them to you? >> Yes. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> No. >> Okay. Do you want to go check with them to see what you're out on now? I think you're fine here. >> Okay. >> You're going to be compliant with me here, at least. >> Yes. >> Uh statement on the theft? Yeah, if you want to get him going on that. >> Okay. I'll work on that. >> All of that attitude for three unscanned items. The officers would have let her go with a ticket if she played it right. But no. The cops hurt her ego, so she must argue. All right. Just remember, she is a repeater, then her fate is sealed. But hey, at least if she cooperates from the beginning, she wouldn't get additional charges. As one of the officers keeps an eye on her, the other goes into the store to get the security camera footage and the receipt. >> Okay. So, 60 90 11 you said? Or 63 52. 63 52. Okay. We're going to walk out. My sergeant's here now, so you can talk to him about the search, but again, I'm not going to put you in the back of my car with stuff in your pockets that I can see. >> have it. It's my vape. >> Well, you wouldn't even let us grab it out, so. >> Why would you need to grab my vape out? >> Because we don't allow things to go in the back of our car. >> But I can't even grab it. >> Doesn't People can. I'm not saying you have to. People can, and we can't trust that. That's our policy. >> doing anything. >> That's our That's our policy, okay? >> Well, I need a female officer. >> We don't have a female officer. You can talk to her. You can talk to our sergeant. >> I will. >> And that's why we called him out here to come talk to you. >> [snorts] >> She's not allowing us to search her and keep >> want a female officer. >> We advised her we don't have a female officer. >> I don't need I don't I I really don't I I can't have a male search me. >> We don't have one available. >> I need one. Get a female anything. I can't do that. Is there female security here? Why? >> We don't get them involved. You're in our custody. >> But I can't have a male search me. >> Well, we search females all the time. >> But I'm not It's not my It's my right. I need a woman >> Everything's being recorded. >> that. That's fine. That's fine. You can record me. So, you don't know why you kept needing to tell me that again. >> We tell >> people this all the time. >> But you told me like four times now. >> Cuz you keep saying we're not allowed to search you and so we're saying we're recording. Nothing's happening. >> So what? But yeah, except were you recording when that officer like hurt me? >> That's both of us. My camera was on. >> Okay, using excessive force when I wasn't It wasn't necessary. >> tell you to stop resisting and walk towards the car. That's what I told >> told me to go against the wall. >> I told you to turn around and face the wall and you wouldn't. >> the wall and I did. >> No, you didn't. >> And then you grabbed me and then he grabbed me 10 times harder. >> not going to talk about that. >> me harder and he didn't need to. >> Well, >> Okay, well, I'll look into that part of it. >> No, you won't. It hurt. >> That wasn't me. You can talk to my sergeant about that. >> and it was unnecessary. >> to my sergeant about it if you have concerns. That that I can't do anything about that. I'm not >> He twisted my arm back further than he needed to and he hurt me really bad even after I said to stop. >> What was her reaction? >> I have metal plates in my wrist and that it just hurts. >> Okay, I can I can review the body cameras and all that. So I'll put that in the I'll look into that. All right, as far as So what is the So what is the arrest for? >> She's under arrest for theft and possession of stolen >> anything. I paid for everything. I have receipts. >> Have you recovered the property or anything? >> Yeah, we have it. >> I paid for everything. >> her take the stuff. >> things that I paid for? >> You can have those back or they'll reimburse you. >> How? It was cash. >> Okay, well, I will talk to them. You're not We're not going to take the stuff you paid for or they're going to rather give you money. >> everything. >> We're not going to keep talking about that. >> After a while, the officer moved her into the squad car. >> All right, well, we're going to at least remove that from you, okay? And then we're going to check making sure that you don't have anything else. We can pretty much see that you don't you know, uh but we do see this right here. >> That might be. >> Okay, we got to remove that. >> There's my money in there as well. >> Okay, okay, but >> Okay. So I don't that then take me to jail and and I'll get searched there. >> Okay, so you So I just want you to clarify if there's any sort of contraband or anything on you, it can turn into a felony charge. >> Okay. >> You're fine with that. I just want to clarify. >> I What does that mean? >> Any controlled substances >> Anything that we need to be aware of. Like because if you should fail a search >> I'm not searching I'm trying to pull up my pants. Don't >> Touch me. >> No, don't touch me. Don't touch me. >> You are not the one >> No, you don't get to touch me. >> Okay, you are not the one >> No, get the [ __ ] away from me. Don't touch me. >> Relax a second. >> No. >> So, okay, lift that up. One second. We got Got nothing through here? >> No, I was pulling up my pants. >> All right. So, he said something in your front left pocket there. >> I have money. That's it. Dollars. That's it. Dollars. >> Turn this way facing me for a second. >> I have dollars. >> Just dollars? >> Yes. Literally, dollars. >> Okay. >> We got a booker. I got a jail booker. >> We're going to watch this side of the car. >> But, can you like not walk me around here? >> This Well, it's not so >> Because I didn't do anything. >> So, like I told you, you're not being compliant with us, so that's why I'm making this decision at this point. >> Because I don't want you to touch me? I have a mouth like >> I get to I can loosen this one a little bit. Let me I need to need to see your hand over here. Can you push your legs out way a little bit? Thank you. I'll loosen this one, okay? Can you let go of your fingers while I'm loosening? I don't want to hurt you anymore. >> I feel like you tightened it. >> I didn't. I loosened it and then clicked it a couple more. It's >> But, I can't breathe now. >> okay, well, they're loose. I can get two fingers in there. Look it. >> I know. >> This way. You have to turn around now. >> I can't sit. >> On the way to jail, she continued to argue with the officer. >> 95.11 >> Yes. >> Why? >> Because you have not been compliant, we can't complete our procedure. You want a female officer, so we're going to go get you female officer. >> you just have them search me and send me home? >> Because at this point we're past that. >> Why? >> So, I'm not going to >> Because I wanted a female officer to search me. That's why. >> That is not the only reason. You could have also committed crimes. >> I did not. I I paid for that stuff. >> Well, we have video evidence of you not. >> They They search me and didn't find me. >> Why? >> It's Saturday. >> Well, the jail is closed on Saturday, see them on Monday. Oops. Sometimes they come in on Sundays, I heard. >> 5 minutes. >> Okay. Well, I don't know what to tell you. There's also a good chance there's a felony charge coming away for all the thefts you Cuz all the documented thefts we have against you right now. >> So, are you arresting me on those right now? >> Right now, as of this moment, I'm just arresting you on my charges of you obstructing and theft three. But, I got to look into it the jail, and if there's evidence of all the other stuff from the other officer already in the system, then I might be booking you on a felony charge. >> What's that mean? >> It means there's an officer working a case against you right now. >> A what? >> A case on you. For all your thefts that you've been doing at Walmart. So, just to clarify, the only thing in the front pocket so I can tell the jail is cash? >> It's cash, and I have I don't know, but I do have a prescription. I really do. I didn't know how you could check because >> Okay. Are you on the phone talking after I read you your rights again? Do you want to talk about what we found in your pants in your pocket? >> Okay. >> If I read you your rights I'll read your rights again. All right, you have the right to remain silent, and anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand each of these rights as I've read to you? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> No. >> Okay. The meth we found in your pants. Remember I told you about that? Can you tell us about it? It's a felony charge. Okay, so you're safe. >> In the end, the woman was charged with third-degree theft, obstruction, and possession of a controlled substance.
