My brain's like fried, you know? I'm like, cutting socks, too, and just like I cannot even think right. >> I'm I'm thinking you you just left here a bit later than you thought. >> I haven't even seen Maybe I might I might, honestly. I Yeah, sorry. It's like my brain's fried, especially like it's not not a good sight to see like cop cars and then I'm like I'm like what the hell is going on and and then the officer told me it's a suspicious death. I'm like, death? >> Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> I used to be a living caregiver for Mr. Rhodes, who is Susan's father, and uh he was very generous. He provided me housing and stuff. So, in exchange, I was his living caregiver. He didn't charge me rent and he unfortunately passed away like, I don't know, a few weeks ago or so. He was 93 years old. And Susan was nice and, you know, I understand. She's like, you know, you going to take your time to move, no hurry. So, everything was good, you know, and I'm I was going to move I have to move anyways. I knew that cuz, you know, with Mr. Rhodes passing away, that was a fact, you know, they're going to I don't know if they're going to sell the house I don't know what's the deal yet with that, but it's all in the air. But, uh but that was it. Long story short, I was just living here and I still live here until, you know, until notice cuz the family gave me notice they gave me enough time. They say like at least a month or so for me to stay until I can find a place, you know, find storage with all this stuff. It's not easy. So, I'm totally okay with that and yeah, everything is good, you know. >> Okay. >> Good relationship with the family. He has this He Well, the deceased, uh Mr. Rhodes, have a stepson. I get along with all of them. Uh Susan is new. I just got to meet her like a week ago or so and uh it has been great. She's been coming every day, cleaning the house. She comes every day, you know, from 11:00, 10:30, and she stays sometimes until 7:00, till 6:00, you know, then she goes to her Airbnb. And, you know, usually by this time she should be already left, you know, but you know, usually when I come home she's not here anymore, so >> Okay. Um and does anybody live in the house with you? >> No. Currently? Okay. >> Nobody at all. Just me and that's it, you know, and used to be Mr. Rhodes, but he just he's dead, so it's just me and my cat. >> Okay. >> My family's not here, they're in Florida. My 9-year-old son comes on the weekends to visit. He's just 9 years old. Uh he's autistic. He just comes stays with me usually Friday, uh Saturday, and Sundays, but that's it, just on the weekends. >> Okay. Um and is Susan the only fam- family member that comes up in Queens or does anybody else come up? >> it. She came to [clears throat] clean, get out the affairs because, you know, he died. So, he has he used to make jewelry, Mr. Rhodes. He is a jewelry maker and beads, you know, with beads and stuff, so she was getting all the beads out, his whatever's valuable, I guess, you know, before she can, you know, notify the the real estate and go about that stuff, you know, then I don't know what she was going to do anyways, but um but she was just gathering her stuff and her family was on their way as well, so they should be here I don't know this weekend or so. >> Okay. >> So, this is really unfortunate, you know, because her family's coming to help her cuz he Mr. Rhodes, I love him, you know, loved him, but he was a a hoarder. Houses like you cannot even walk in the garage. Yeah, the living room, I was the person who cleaned and made it kind of livable for him, but still the carpets is nasty and stuff. All the stuff has to be replaced there. But that's what she was doing. She was cleaning, she was just she was just upstairs pretty much just cleaning and doing all that stuff. >> Okay. >> That's what Susan was doing and uh and getting his beads and stuff. >> So Elaine, you start from the beginning today. What What happened today when you So you you live here? >> I live here. >> So what time did you leave today? >> Uh today I left like around I don't know 11. It was actually a little bit after noon. I kind of overslept to be honest. >> I'm sorry. Just a second. You go on continue with your story. >> I work from noon to 8:00 usually. And I got to work like around overslept. >> Okay. Sorry, and you usually >> insomnia and I overslept so I got to work was like 12:10 12:20. I'm not sure. >> Okay. >> And then I was there until like 3:00 I believe 3:30. I mean sorry. It was just for lack of words but I like my stomach been upset and I just asked my supervisor to leave a little bit earlier cuz I really wasn't feeling well and that's kind of you know. >> And And sorry, what what time did you leave work? >> Like around 3:00 I believe. I'm not I don't know for sure the exact time. >> Okay. >> They know. And when I left I wasn't feeling good so then I just went to the casino a little bit, you know. Actually I went for a little walk for a little bit, you know, cuz I've been trying to do that. You know. And I was just feeling, you know, like a little bit like you know, I don't know like just like I don't know if it's like Me and my boyfriend been fighting a lot over the phone so I've been having a lot of like panic attacks so that has to do with that too. That's one of the reasons I asked actually to be honest to leave work early cuz I didn't want to be bawling my eyes there at work, you know. I wasn't feeling good emotionally. I was sad, you know, me and my boyfriend been fighting a lot. He's in Florida now with the kids. >> Okay. >> So you know, it's my partner of eight years so I've been pretty heartbroken and through a breakup kind of stuff. So, I just told my boss some kind of story that I actually wasn't feeling well just to get out of work cuz you don't want to be crying there. >> Right. So, I missed that. What So, roughly when did you Did you left here when? >> Uh around noon. >> Okay. >> Yeah, maybe a little bit before noon and I got to work was like 12:10. >> Okay. So, when you >> running late a little bit today to be honest. >> So, this morning when you were here, did you see is Is Susan, right? >> Yeah, she was there here already. Uh-huh. >> Um did you guys have any conversation or anything? >> She She doesn't talk much usually. She just goes upstairs and start cleaning and doing her stuff and I try not bother her enough cuz she's busy. >> And what >> And I was already leaving late, so I didn't chat much. >> what time she arrived? >> She was around I don't know 50 10 to noon, 11:45, something like that. >> So, >> It was when she got here. >> So, right before you left. >> So, it was right before I left. Yeah, she was fine. She was like totally fine. >> What car did she come in? >> What car? >> Yeah. >> I didn't see. Sometimes she drives this car and she has a rental as well. >> W- Sorry, which car? >> She drive That's her dad's car. Sometimes she drives this car because this car is just here. They haven't repossessed it yet. >> Which uh Which car cuz there's like a a couple up there? >> Uh Oh, well, okay. That car is The old Toyota doesn't work anymore. It was race car and the other one newer is race too and Susan drives that sometimes. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, I don't know if she came on that one, but she has another one too that she rented. >> All right. >> So, I don't know if she left at the B&B. I have no idea. >> Right. And And so, she came from the B&B here about 11 >> 11:45, yeah. She actually came late, but I didn't have much time to talk because I was running late already. >> Could So, where's the B&B at? >> I have no idea. She didn't tell me. I actually asked her one point, not today obviously, but cuz we barely talked today, but I asked her another instance where it was her B&B and she didn't tell me. >> Um >> Cuz I want to recommend to her friend of mine has a B&B in town, but I don't know where she's staying. >> Did she give any clues like Squim, downtowns and >> She says in Squim. >> She says in Squim. Did she say it was by the water or >> No. >> Um, is there anybody else living there or is it just her? >> Uh, her family was going to stay with her when they come because they are on their way from Nevada to help her >> So, so is it like is it like an Airbnb where she's the only one there? >> It's an Airbnb, yeah. It's like somebody's house. It's like it's something she says. >> So nobody else is I mean what what what I'm what I'm trying to get at is is there um is she the only person living in the house? >> No, I think there's more people that live there as well. >> okay. >> I think it's in somebody's house. As far as I know we didn't talk that much. That's what I'm saying like we we were cordial, you know, and she's a pretty nice lady to me, you know, because I used to take care of her dad until his death. So the family really likes me and they really like kind of had like they were really like nice and cordial to me. She even worked with me. She was like, "You don't need to move right away." So we had a good relationship me and her. So >> So so there was only like 15 minutes or so between her arriving and you leaving? >> Yeah, yeah, even maybe even less, yeah. >> What did she say during that time? >> It was just hi and she usually don't like the cat shouts because my cat goes outside and he brings like mouse and snakes. So that's how it she say on the way out when I was leaving. She was like, "Oh, make sure the the door is closed so Georgie Georgie." So he's like a so she's like, "Make sure Georgie don't go outside and don't bring stuff to spook me." And I was like, "Okay, bye." >> And where was your car parked? >> Huh? >> Where was your vehicle parked? >> Uh, my car is this little tiny little black car, yeah. >> was it? Where did Where do you park it? >> Usually I park behind of the or right in that ramp there. That's usually where I park. Sometimes I park by by the ramp when I come home at night. >> morning where was it? >> It was in the ramp. >> Okay. >> By the ramp, yeah. I always park on that ramp there, you know, in front in front of his new car and the other car I don't I don't remember now which car is there in front in front of the old car. So, basically I park on the ramp. Ray always let me park on that little ramp. So, I always park there. Do you have to back out or do you go I have to back usually, yeah. >> So, when you backed up, did you happen to see what car was parked there that that Susan was using? >> I think was this black one, but like I say I'm not sure because she drives this one she drives the other one. I think she has drove this one. I'm not totally sure, but I think she drove it before because you know it has like gas and it's her dad's car anyways. But, uh she also has another car as well because this one got to go back to the dealership you know because the old man died. So, unfortunately. >> All right. So, that that's kind of helping there. Um so, >> [clears throat] >> um then you you left you went to work. >> Yeah, I went to work. Uh-huh. It was around 3:00. Me and my boyfriend I mean today I didn't actually talk to him because when I left you this morning like I say I was late I left totally forgot my phone at home. I didn't have my phone all day which I actually was relieved because yesterday I spent all day fighting with my boyfriend, you know, you know, we kind of fighting breaking up whatever hope not, but so I was like okay we can take a break today from talk to each other you know because we just fighting fighting. >> Where Where's your boyfriend? >> Uh he's in Florida with my two youngest kids. They >> you said you have a 9-year-old that's with >> I have a 9-year-old too a boy yeah he's he's on the spectrum. He's the only one that comes and stay with me on the weekend. >> Where does he >> Uh he's in Quincy with his dad. He's He has a different dad. So, he stays in Quincy. >> Okay. >> So, yeah that one is the only one that comes and stays with me on the weekends because uh her dad was nice okay with that and she's okay with that too. Like I say they we got along really well. She was the the family they were really nice with my family my kids uh not my kids, but my my oldest son stayed with us during the weekend, so >> So, where did you get to? >> So, I pretty much just got to see how my weekends pretty much >> Like, so once you left work >> Uh-huh. >> Um and then you said you went for a walk. >> Yeah, I went for a walk a little bit. I did because I've been trying to, you know, lose weight, obviously. So, you know, I just [clears throat] walk a little bit from up up and down the road, you know, all the way down. Yeah. Uh-huh, here. Yeah, when I got home, I didn't even go inside. I parked my car. >> Yeah. >> And I went all the way down, you know, cuz I've been doing that. I parked my car here and I go all the way to the airport road and just walk a little bit around, you know, the back road, you know, the >> It's a nice area to walk in here. >> Yeah, it's a walk and it's kind of uphill, so you burn a lot. >> Like, so what time did you get back here? Like, after you left After It was after you left work. >> Oh, yeah. It was Uh-huh, so finally when I got back here was probably after 5:00. It was I'm pretty sure it was after 5:00 when I came back. And I didn't see anything. I didn't hear anything. I I didn't see anything at all. >> Okay. Did Um so, did you go inside? >> I went inside real quick, yes. But, just to grab my jacket, this jacket here. Didn't see anything because I didn't go upstairs, you know, not that I remember, you know, not today, anyways. >> Where was your jacket? >> My jacket was in my bedroom. >> Okay. >> I have a little bedroom there, yeah. And in the downstairs area, yeah. >> Okay, so it's downstairs. >> Uh-huh, it's by the kitchen, so I don't even need to go upstairs at all. You know, sometimes, of course, I do, you know, cuz I live in the house, you know, my cats goes upstairs sometimes, you know, but today I didn't go upstairs. >> Okay. Um and then you went for a walk. And how long were you walking for? >> Um I walked from here. What was it? I parked my car cuz they forced me to walk, so I don't have to drive. So, I walked all the way down, gosh, past the airport road. Like, I don't know really the names of the streets cuz I don't live here for that far from that long. But, after airport road, I just kept going down and then I hike up the way up up again and walk a little bit on the back road. >> use any of those apps that help you on your >> No. No, I I have one but I haven't been using actually. I don't have anything like >> Like I find that helps motivate me to keep me going and keep me on >> to buy one actually. My boyfriend has one but I don't have one and yeah, I want to >> All right, so [clears throat] so then you you came back to the car and what happened then? >> Yeah, then once I got back to the house I just went to the house just for like a second just to grab my jacket because I was planning to go to the casino have few drinks and I did, you know, my friend I was going to meet a friend of mine there but she ended up flaking on me. So I just went there and I had a few drinks, you know, and just trying to unwind for all this drama with boyfriend and stuff. >> What kind of time was that? >> That was right after I left here like I came like I say like around 5:00 took me like maybe 10 minutes just ran into the house used the potty real quick grab my jacket and I got out. I didn't see anything didn't hear anything so I didn't think there was nothing to [clears throat] it. >> I'm a little bit confused. So you So you came in you grabbed your jacket and then you went for a walk or you grabbed your jacket >> no no and then I went to the casino. That was before the walk. Yeah, that was after the walk. The walk was yeah, I did it the walk so I just went for my walk, you know, cuz I've been doing that sometimes even after work I've been getting into this habits of like doing walks and stuff. Yeah, I've been really struggling to lose weight so so I've been doing that just as a habit you know, cuz I used to jog and stuff but I had a back injury so I've been trying to walk to burn calories. So I went for a walk when I came back home was like around after 5:00 like 5:00 I don't know 30 or so didn't see anything just grab my jacket because a little bit chilly and off I went cuz you know, I was going to see if I could meet my friend Toria at the casino but she didn't show up or not and I also didn't have my phone cuz like I say I haven't seen my phone honestly since yesterday. But with all this drama with my boyfriend so once I got to the casino I realized again I don't have my phone so I couldn't get a hold of my friend or anything. So I just stay there and hang out a little bit by myself. >> What time do you think you got to the casino? >> Gosh, like around 6:00. >> So it was it dark then when you got there? >> Uh it was dark I think, yeah. It was already dark I think. When I got there it was after 6:00 I'm pretty sure cuz now by the time you stop and get gas all that stuff, you know. I don't even know if [clears throat] I got gas earlier or after. Now I don't remember with all this stuff going on. But by the time I got there I'm sure it was after 6:00. >> Right. >> So yeah, I just hang out I went ate and then I went play a little bit and just had one drink cuz I don't like to drink and drive of course. So I just one drink and I hang around. Yeah, don't want to get in trouble so I was like had one drink, had a salad, and gamble, and that's it got out of there. That was it, you know. >> And then where did you go from there? >> Just straight here. I stayed there for like 3 hours I think. I actually did win some money so I got lucky and once I won some money I got out of there you know cuz I never win anything. I never also play because I can't afford that kind of stuff. That's rare. I was just like because of this thing with my boyfriend I've been sad and kind of depressed, you know. That's one of the reasons that today I left work so didn't want to be bawling my eyes there. So that's you know I just felt like okay I can use a drink but usually I don't go at all because the friends of my boyfriend sees me there and they're going to start drama. So usually I don't go to the casino at all, you know. >> Where is work? >> Uh I work at Walmart. Uh uh uh Walmart. >> Walmart hotel? Okay. >> Walmart. I cannot say world. >> Oh, is that out towards Fort Carson? >> Yeah, uh-huh. Discovery Bay, yeah. Uh my boss actually wasn't happy cuz today is I usually don't do that to leave early but I didn't want to be crying you know and my boyfriend been really mean and we kind of breaking up so I hope not like I say but we've been together for 8 years. Didn't want to be balling my eyes there, so I just like thought like we And I've been working full-time and I will stop now, so I've been like, "Okay, I'll take a break and just go for a walk." And that's what I did, you know, and just did anything, barely even grab my phone, didn't even stop at home, not even for 10 minutes when I came. >> Okay. Um and do you Do you ever drive the cars that Is it Mr. Rhodes? >> I drove one time only. And after Yeah, when he brought home and stuff because I used to run errands for him and stuff or not. >> Okay. But it's like not a usual thing that you do now. >> No, no, no, not usual at all. I used to run a lot of errands for him. He was 93, so, you know, sometimes he would ask me to go to the grocery and stuff, you know, his car sometimes has gas might be diesel, so since I'm doing errands for him, I might as well use his gas. >> That makes sense. >> So, I did sometimes, yeah. I didn't do it often cuz I don't think he has insurance on it. He was 93 years old. So, once I realized he didn't have insurance, I was like, "I really don't want to get in trouble right driving this car." >> Okay. But this one here, that's your car? >> Yeah, that's my car. >> Okay. All righty. Just checking. Um cuz it's registered to you and all that? >> Yeah, my car is. >> Okay. All righty. Do you have a And so Does anybody else come here? >> Not that I know. There is There are some people that are not welcome here at all. There is one grandson of Ray that's a drug addict and everybody's terrified of him. >> Okay. >> But I don't know who the guy is. Just know he's a white guy. >> Yeah. >> That's all I know about him. >> And does he come Does he actually come to the house? >> He's not He's not allowed in the house cuz he's a drug addict. >> Have you ever seen him here? >> Never seen. I sleep with a door stopper behind the door because everybody say he's bad news, but I haven't seen the guy, never seen the guy, to be honest with you, fair. >> And then this is Ray's son? >> No, grandson. And he's not allowed here because he's a drug addict. Yeah. So, but I haven't seen and even she she always made sure that she locked the door and stuff. So, I don't know. >> Okay. >> But >> So, can you describe the >> was open or not cuz I haven't been there. >> Can you describe the house to us? So, so you go in if you go down the the ramp where you where you said you park the vehicle normally. Uh and then you kind of go if you were to walk in you could pass the garage. Is that where the front door is? >> Yes. Yes. >> So, can you describe what it's like when >> when you walk into the front door there's a kitchen area and there is like a a table round table in the kitchen area. >> is that? Is it in front of the side? >> Um it's right to the to the right to the table there's a little dining area area is on the right and the kitchen is to the left a little tiny kitchen. And then there is a little tiny living room and that's pretty much the downstairs is the area where I live pretty much. You know, even Ray always when he was alive used to say, "The downstairs is yours." and I could I was able to clean up some watch and stuff cuz it was really dirty the house. It's like the the hoarders from the house from the hoarders show. And uh but the upstairs uh just his daughter now was cleaning. That was her thing. >> your bedroom in relation to the downstairs? >> Um my bedroom after the there's a living room here and my bedroom is um on the left. There's a little hallway, tiny little hallway that there's a bathroom and there's my bedroom. >> Okay. So, is there just the two rooms down there? >> Just uh-huh. Just yeah, just the bathroom and but my bedroom. >> are the stairs to go >> Huh? >> Where are the stairs to go upstairs? >> Uh the stairs is where it goes to Ray's room, the room that >> Where are they located? If you're facing in the front door, where are the stairs at? >> Uh it's to the left. >> Right by the front door or >> Yeah, sort of in front of the front door kind of like to the left. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Um so is it out Is that outside or is it inside? >> Inside the stairs, yeah. Inside. >> And so when you go up the stairs, what what what do you see then? >> And when you go upstairs, there's a uh bedroom, upstairs bedroom, and that was uh Ray's bedroom, you know, her her dad's bedroom. And that's the bedroom that Susie has been working on and cleaning and all. That's how I know cuz usually when she's here, I barely go upstairs. I used to. I think I went upstairs, I don't know, maybe yesterday or before yesterday, I'm not sure. And uh but that's it, you know, that's Oh, yeah, because I found this hopper thing for her, and that's when I went upstairs, maybe yesterday night, before she got here. But it her bedroom is up the bedroom, Ray's bedroom, the bedroom she's cleaning is upstairs. >> So >> That's where the stairs let lead to. >> Is there anything other than a bedroom up there? >> Uh bedroom and a bathroom. >> Okay, so that's the only sweet bathroom >> Yeah, and there is a deck, you know, uh little deck, you know, that that comes here to the front of the house, that little >> I saw there was something on top of the garage. >> Yeah, that's it. It's like a little deck, but it's yeah. >> And it does that get used? >> Not much because there's all missing boards and stuff. Nobody really goes there. I don't. The board around the house is missing boards, so it's like really scary to even go around, you know. >> Yeah, so there's no rail around there. >> There's no rail, no. It's super scary, so I mean >> Do you ever go out there? >> Never, rarely, no, cuz it's really scary, spooky around the house. I even put chairs cuz at one point I thought my kids would come, you know, maybe to visit at least, but it's really dangerous for kids, and I don't want them cuz there's no, you know, railing there. Yeah, so I don't really go on a deck, you know, on that part, the front part of the house at all. >> Okay. Um And then are there are there any other rooms? >> No, sir. >> So, is once you're up the stairs, there's a bedroom >> and a bathroom. Yeah. >> And then a door that leads out to the the back area. >> To the front, yeah. >> Um So, So, when you're downstairs, are there any other doors outside to go outside? >> just the garage door. Yeah, there's a garage there's a door the garage door opens if you just pull I think it opens as far as I know cuz I see him do. Yeah, the bigger door the big garage door just opens. So, that's why when I sleep at night I put door stops inside cuz I never really trust cuz they uh Raven he was alive he used to say that that grandson of his is trouble and he's really strong out on drugs and stuff. I never met the guy never seen the guy wouldn't recognize if I see him. You know, one time somebody when Ray got sick they brought flowers and I thought it was the grandson cuz I just saw a white guy with flowers and I was like, "Who the hell are you?" And he was just a poor guy from Ray's work that was bringing flowers. Like >> Do you know if he was told that Ray had died? >> Uh we hope even before I mean obviously you know, Suzy told me one time when Ray died was really sad you know, Ray was like a father to me Ray you know, I live you know, I take care of him and he took care yeah, fed him took care of him. He was a sweet old man just sweet old little man. So, he did everything for me. He was he was like family seriously. So, that was very sad but when he died I was really sad. So, I went to Facebook and I put a post I was like, "Oh, you know, sweet Ray rest in peace blah blah blah blah blah." And I told Suzy you know, that was before she came here like before she came to clean and do whatever she got to do take care of his affairs and I told her that I that I posted that and she was like, "No, no, no, no, no, please delete because if his grandson sees that, he'll try breaking into the house." The house has been broken in before. The garage is full of glass shards on the floor. They've been broken in before by who knows who. >> Right. >> So, that has happened that his somebody broke in. That was a little bit before Ray died, I don't know a month before and they stole stuff. They stole He has like those big crystals and he never been able to find his stuff, his crystals. The stuff that he never been able to find. >> So, Susan didn't want to tell the grandson >> No, nobody wants to get out that Ray died. So, she asked me, she told me that was like, I don't know, a couple weeks ago or so. I don't know exactly the day Ray died and she was like, "Yeah, no, please, I appreciate but delete because if he that grandson" I forgot the guy's name now. She was like, "If he gets a hold of that, he will sure try come breaking in, especially knowing that there's nobody in the house, you know." I mean, he didn't know I was in the house. I don't know if he knows. >> Sure. Um Yeah. So, outside the house, by the driveway, there's this RV there. >> Uh-huh. >> Is is that open, you know? Does anybody go in there? >> Nobody goes in there, but she went there recently. She actually told me it was one day that I was at home at home. I don't know if it was last week or so. She was like, "Do you want to go in cuz I never went in?" She was like I'm like, "Yeah, sure." So, I went in inside of it her. That's her her dad's and she was going to sell. >> Uh-huh. Um and front window smashed, you know? >> Yeah, I know. Yeah, that was Ray when he was alive. He He He smashed. I don't know how, but >> Okay. >> He was 93 years old and he thought he was a good driver. Driving with him was a scary experience. >> Right. Okay. [laughter] Um so, I'm trying to think of damage on the house. So, we got the front shield of the >> The little gave up on my leg on the >> Yeah, that's right. >> I'm [laughter] old. >> Yeah, it's kind of tight quarters in there. >> I know. You You don't make this call for both of us. >> [laughter] >> So, you got the broken windshield in the in the motorhome. There's glass in the carriage from previously something >> No garage, yeah. As far as I know, I went there very few times. There's some crap there that's mine because, you know, I was, you know, staying and when Ray was alive, he even told me that one point I could bring my youngest kids to stay, but unfortunately, he died, you know, Ray, so he died and it's pretty much the end of that deal and that's okay, you know, because he was so good to me and eventually I was going to have to move out anyways, you know, so but it I brought my kids clothes and stuff. Of course, I didn't have where to take anyways and I couldn't afford to keep paying storage, so I just brought here. So there's a lot of my stuff in the garage and I remember he told me be careful when you go in the garage because there's glass everywhere there in one side there of the garage by the window. You guys can see the the glass. >> So are there any doors that go right into the yard? >> Um into the what? >> Into the yard. Into the >> Um as far as I know, there's some more doors downstairs, the basement doors. >> Oh, okay, there's basement as well. >> Yeah, there's a basement to a big basement. The basement is like over 800 square feet. It's big. The basement is like another house downstairs. When Ray was alive, we put alarms in a in the door in the basement door because of that grandson. He was so scared of that grandson breaking in that we put Suzy at one point, but there's special alarms for Ray, you know, the ones they door stopper that you somebody open it rings. So we have those door stoppers everywhere around the house. You guys are going to see it behind my door. You guys are going to see downstairs. >> So so those doors that are that go out to the yard, do you know are any of them broken? Do you know? >> I haven't noticed not. I don't think so. Just the garage as far as I know and it has been a while that that guy broke the garage. I mean, I don't know who broke, but it has been a while that breaking as far as I know it's been 6 months or more. I don't know. >> Okay. >> I don't know if Ray reported with you guys. I have no I don't really know much about that at all. >> Okay. Um There's an area time that I want to go back to just for a minute. So, it cuz I got a little confused, I think. >> No, no, sorry. >> And [clears throat] and we we just try and uh find out this information so that we we can forget about it basically. So, it's there and it's done and it's out of the way. >> It's okay. >> Um So, you came I want to make sure I understand this. You you came back here so you you left work >> I left you here. >> and you came back here about 3:00? >> I went for a walk a little bit here. I parked the car. >> Yeah, so you parked it here. >> yeah, I parked and I just grabbed my jacket and I went for a walk, you know, I walked. >> You didn't grab your jacket the first time when you left work. >> grabbed my jacket because I was going to go for a walk, you know, it's been kind of chilly. >> And then you So, that was about 3:00, you think? >> No, it was past 3:00. It was a while when it once I came Gosh. Yeah, I came I got my jacket and I left. Oh, yeah, it was probably around 3:30 or so. Sorry. Because then I came back again around 5:00 once I came back from the jog. >> Okay. >> So, yeah, I came I got here I don't know around 3:00, 3:30, maybe 4:00, 3:30. Cuz I'm a slow drive, so I don't know what time honestly I got it. But I know it was after 3:00 and I got my jacket and then I just didn't even barely even I did it I just grabbed my jacket and out of the door, you know. >> For for the walk? >> Yeah, for the walk. >> when you came back, how how much later was it? >> I didn't know if she was listening to her music that she usually do that. >> How long period of time was that? >> Well, like an hour and a half so I came back. >> All right, so while I was talking um >> And when I came back I didn't even go in. I just left. >> Yeah, like an hour. Yeah, I just went for walking like all the way down here, you know, to the airport road and >> So, when you go back that time >> little walk. >> Did you go inside that time when you go back from the walk? >> No, then I just kind of like when I came back, I actually don't remember even I don't think so. I actually went actually, sorry. I actually was looking for my phone. I actually came one time when I came back at 5:30 or 5:00. >> After the walk? >> After the walk here. I went same thing. I just went in the kitchen and I looked for my phone and I couldn't find my phone anywhere. I looked in in the kitchen. I looked in in my I went in my bathroom. >> Uh-huh. >> And I just left cuz I did I just want to go to the casino meet my friend, you know, and I was like, "Okay, you know." And once I got there I was and I also I thought like, "Okay, maybe my phone is in the car." Cuz sometimes you know it rolls under the things, between the things. I was like, "I know big it might be in my my handbag." That's what I thought. My handbag was still in the car. You know, I thought like, "Okay, whatever is in the handbag is in the car." And once I got to the casino I looked everywhere. I looked in my handbag. I looked in my car. Couldn't find it. >> So did you go straight from here to the casino or did you do anything? >> Straight here. No, straight to the casino. >> And did you go inside as soon as you got there? >> Oh, yeah. I got I went inside. >> And um play a little bit and you know, ate and played a little bit, had a drink. >> Okay. So >> I was just playing a little bit there. >> So from here to the casino is about what, half an hour? >> Half hour. >> So that should be around 6:00-ish? >> Mhm. That's when I got there, yeah, around 6:00. >> Um and then um But you didn't have your phone. Who was your friend? >> Uh Tory, but I didn't contact her because you know, I didn't have my phone. I was going to. >> What what's Tory's last name? >> Uh Imard. Imard. E A M A R D. She's one of my best friends. But I honestly didn't contact her, but sometimes we meet for drinks and whatnot. >> So >> And that was my plan, you know, to go and unwind a little bit and that's >> Did you arrange to meet? >> No, not really. I didn't even got to call her contact her cuz I couldn't find the freaking phone. >> Right. >> I When I got in the car I thought for I was going to find it cuz I just looked quickly, you know. And I grab, you know, then I was like, "Okay, it's not not in the house." Couldn't find and, you know, I already had everything I need, my car keys and my jacket and everything. I was like, "Okay, just not here." So, I actually didn't find it all. I don't know where it is. Last time, honestly, I seen it, I think was like yesterday. I have no idea. It was after fighting with my boyfriend. I haven't seen it actually. I don't even know where he is, to be honest. >> Um So, So, it was about 6:00, you think, you got to the casino? But, did you say it was, I can't remember, after dark or before dark? >> I think it was after dark. I don't remember, honestly, to be honest. >> what time it gets dark. >> It's getting dark in the summer, yeah. >> around then. >> Yeah, it was getting [clears throat] dark already, I think, when I got there. >> Yeah, and and you parked up and went straight inside. >> I went straight inside. >> Um Is there any chance that that the times might be off a little bit? >> Uh-huh. >> Is there or I mean >> There's a chance. I mean, I don't exactly know the times. My brain >> couple of hours, I mean. >> No, not a couple of hours, no, but like just I don't know, like I say, around 6:00. That's when I went there, when I got there. >> Okay. Um Oh, you mentioned getting gas. Did you get gas today? >> Earlier, yeah, before going to work. I mean, when you know, I was running late, so before I went to work, I went some gas. >> not this evening. >> Yeah, no, no, sir. >> Okay. Um I'm just trying to make sure we cover everything. >> Yeah, no, that's okay. I'm sorry, my brain is like with all this stress, too. I'm not even like grasping my my brain is like fried, you know? I'm like cutting short, too, and just like I cannot even think right. >> So, when you got to the casino, um which entrance did you go in? >> The main one, like the the one from the back, the one you park in the the general parking. >> It's to um if you're coming down 101, which way did you turn in? >> I >> Was Was it the main entrance with the front doors or the >> uh the front door, yeah. Not the the main main fence one, the hotel side, the the one from the back that people usually go, you know, like as if you're the employees. There's a general parking there in the back. So, and there is an entrance to a smaller entrance there. So, that's the entrance I took. >> Did you go in the >> The the entrance that is by the Rainforest entrance. That's the entrance I went through. If If you ask Rain- Rainforest entrance, that's the entrance I went. >> But But that's where you walked in. >> That's the one I walked in, yes, sir. >> But what about >> And I walked out, too, through the same one. >> As far as where you parked, did you go in where the where the garages where the the gas station is, or did you go in driving the main one? >> Oh, no, when I went to the gas station. >> No, no, when when you went there this evening, did you go in the main entrance, or did you go in the gas station entrance? >> Uh the main entrance. >> Okay. All right. Okay. Um Anything else you got? >> I I can't think of anything additional. But >> Um >> [clears throat] >> Well, that's one of the detectives just >> I'm sorry, my brain's like fried, too, and just like I'm like in shock, too, like I cannot even think right. I'm sorry. This is not a usual situation, like >> So, I'm trying to make sure that we've got everything covered. So, part of um the reason I'm asking you these questions is that you know we try and uh make sure everything's covered before we move on onto the next step. And so one of the things I did was I asked the casino when you got there. >> Mhm. >> Cuz they were able to tell us that and they and they said that was about 8:00. >> 8:00? >> Yeah. >> I don't think >> think it was that late? >> I don't think it was that late. Honestly, I don't think it was that late. >> Um cuz that would that would have been quite a way off the mark in thinking. >> Maybe it might be like I say, you know, it's I went, you know, it's like it's been a crazy day, you know, like I say I left work and then you know and then I went for a jog, you know. And yeah, and that was it. Maybe I was like there later, you're right, you know, I'm not sure now, you know, I'm sorry and I'm going through a breakup and >> No, no, I know. >> Maybe I'm off on the hours, you know, and I don't have my cell phone, I don't have a watch. That's how I usually see the the time. I'm sorry. I And inside you lose the And when you are inside you do lose the count of time, especially after a drink, you know. >> There's [clears throat] no windows and no clocks. >> After a drink, no, and you just have the machine bling bling bling bling bling bling so it's possible. I mean I don't even know what time it is now. Like you go there, you lose the count of time, so that's possible. I'm sorry about that. I'm going through a breakup, you know, emotionally it's a lot. That's one of the reasons that I didn't even stay at work today, you know, it's like kind of like going through that, heartbroken. I'm like just going through a lot, you know. >> So when >> this. >> So when you were walking or jogging around here, was it daylight or dark then? >> Uh it was light still. It was like around, you know, I don't know it was light still but the you know, kind of. Yeah, but it was lights too. I don't like to jog at night, you know, because cool guys and >> [clears throat] >> weird animals that I >> Oh, I understand. >> don't want to deal with. So, I you never do at night. And so, usually I just go early, you know, like you know, if I can, you know? But I've been like lately trying to do a little bit at night too just because it's been getting cold. Before it got cold, I was doing it at night. But usually by the the trail and stuff, that's what I like to, you know, to walk. >> Mhm. Okay. Um I do So, the only people that might that that are in the area that might have come here would be this grandson. That's a possibility. >> Mhm. There are I mean >> It's >> If you guys are saying there's something suspicious, I don't know what you >> moment we don't know. So, we we don't >> At the moment we don't know. So, we we don't >> I'm sorry, my back is cramping bad. >> But that's >> I'm old. >> We're trying to make sure we we know as much as we can up front. So, um >> Yeah, and I I've been told he's not welcome even like as a caregiver. I've been told not to open the door for him because he can be nice and charming, but he's trouble. That's what they told me that he does drugs and they don't trust him. >> Do you know if Susan has any other brothers or sisters? >> Uh no, there's just Jean. >> Mhm. >> Uh Jean is her stepson stepson? Stepbrother, sorry. >> Okay. >> Stepbrother and I don't have his number right now cuz I don't have my phone. I don't know where my phone is, honestly. >> Where would Where does he live, do you know? >> He lives in Port Port Angeles. >> Okay, so he's local. >> Yeah, he's a local guy. He's a good guy. >> Do you Do you know his last name? >> Jesus. No, but uh But if I find my phone, I can give to you guys, for sure. [laughter] >> Okay. >> Sorry, he's in the house somewhere. >> His name's Jean. And he's in Port Angeles. So, this [clears throat] is Susan's stepbrother. >> Uh-huh, stepbrother. >> Okay. And And the grandson, who's Who's child is the grandson? >> Uh his sis- her sister who died, her sister. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Are there any other brothers and sisters you know? >> That I know, no. She This one is the only daughter of Ray. That was his only alive daughter. >> What about grandchildren? >> Grandchildren, yeah, her children who are in Nevada. They live out in Nevada. She's from Nevada. >> Okay. And what about Jean, does he have any kids? >> No. Jean don't have kids. >> Mhm. >> Yeah, Jean is in Port Angeles and I don't remember his last name, but I have his number on my my phone. >> Have you met him before? >> Yeah. >> What kind of person is he? >> Very nice guy, church guy, a little bit of a almost on a fanatical side, but very nice, very kind. He has paid my car bill like few times for me. >> Okay. >> Because I used to take care of Ray and uh you know, Ray couldn't really afford, but Ray was a sweetheart and he helped me housing. So, um bef- And for a while I quit working just to take care of Ray. So, of course I have bills too, car payments and whatnot. Ray Jean has helped me a couple times Jean is like a nice super nice kind person. He's actually having back surgery. So, she's been asking him to come to help with this garbage cuz me and her sometimes know by crossing one whenever I see her like few minutes here, a few minutes there. Like this morning I was like I just see her just like for minutes sometimes in a day, you know. Sometimes she's already upstairs like "Bye, Suzy." from downstairs. I don't even get to see her sometimes, but she told me she she told Jean to come get that garbage thing there. But he's he's incapacitated now. Okay. Just Do you know what he drives? What vehicle? >> Uh he has like a truck, but I don't know what kind of truck. He has like actually several trucks. >> Are they new or old? >> Older older trucks. He works for a well drill drill wells. >> Okay. >> Uh that's what he does for a living. And um I like I said, I have all his information on my phone, even his address. >> So So my concern is that your phone isn't there. >> It's somewhere. Yeah. >> What what What if some So my What I'm worried about is if somebody did break in and do something >> They'll take my phone, yeah. >> phone might not be there. So I got to So that's what I'm trying to get at. >> That's why I was like telling you, "Guys, can you guys go get my phone?" Cuz my boyfriend is going to be like more mad now even than ever. >> contacting him, right? >> Oh, yeah. No, today I didn't. >> No, you're not talking to him. >> Today I didn't at all. And actually, my phone for the most part of the day, like I mean, cuz I haven't even seen him, but uh last night I turned it off because, you know, we've been just fighting, of course, over messaging and stuff and blah blah blah. So just was having a bad day, real bad day today. Couldn't even concentrate at work anything. Didn't want to be bawling my eyes out at my new job and I'm still training there. This is a new job. >> Two. So Two what um what type of phone do you have? >> Uh it's a iPhone. >> Okay. Do you have that app that's that Find My Phone app? >> Yeah, I do. I do. But I can't trace with anything. I don't have, you know, >> Right. But if you had a um computer, would you be able to log in and to be able to find it? >> Uh probably, yeah. It's probably in the house somewhere. I have no idea where he is. Yesterday I found this hopper thing and she was so happy about it. And that was the last time, honestly, I've seen it. And I think, you know, it might be upstairs. I don't know. >> Okay. >> In the kitchen. I don't know. >> What does it look like though? >> It's uh has like a like a sparkly gray case. Like, you know, it's kind of sparkly and the the the case is kind of gray and kind of shiny. And it's just an iPhone. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Like I get a new iPhone 13. >> Um >> I I honestly thought it was in my car because I looked for a second when I came home and cuz I was looking for that cuz that was the plan to go to the casino and see if I could get a hold of my friend. >> Right. >> And I was like, "Okay, it's not in the house." So, I just went for a second and I looked, I scanned, I went straight in the bathroom. I looked in my bed, I didn't see my phone. I was like, "Okay, it's nowhere here." So, I just went in and out, you know? And I was like, "Okay, it's not here." And I went I went outside, I was like, "Okay, it must be in a car or in my purse." For sure it's in the car if it's not in the house. And I couldn't find anywhere. So. >> Yeah, I'm sorry. >> No problem. I just ended up not getting a hold of my friend at all that. >> [clears throat] >> Okay. >> I was just hanging out just by myself. >> Yeah, I was just I was like, "Okay, I just need a drink anyways." That's what I'm going to do, just have a drink and just, you know, maybe play a machine a little bit, 20 bucks here. And I did and I ended up getting lucky one time, 200 bucks. And I was like, "Okay, out of here." I don't even know how long I was there to be honest. >> Okay, you're way ahead, right? >> [clears throat] >> For real, I didn't even know how long honestly, you know what I mean? I thought I got there at 6:00, but it was just my assumption. I don't have my watch. I don't have I I watched the time on my phone honestly. [clears throat] >> Right. Um >> I'm sorry about that, guys. >> So, was it like dark like it is now or was it like kind of getting dark? Like can you just >> I thought it was getting dark. I thought it was lighter, honestly, you know? I thought it was lighter, but you know, they say if I was there at 8:00, so >> Yeah, what? >> I believe obviously. >> What what do you what do you think >> I see usually the fi- the time on my phone. I was I use my phone for everything. Without my phone I totally lose track of everything, you know? I just knew I didn't want to drink much, so I just had one drink and since I couldn't get a hold of my friend anyway, there was no reason to be hanging more and losing more money, you know, the the that I won. >> All right, but but this was before you got there though. They said that you you've got there at 8:00. >> Uh-huh. >> Um around just after 8:00. >> Mhm. >> But that's but that's 2 hours different. I'm just trying to see what time it gets dark here. Um see if this will tell me anyway. It'll tell me what time the sun rises, but not time of the day. >> Sometimes I do uh you know I mean I I I don't think I put I stopped anywhere in between, you know, I really don't think I after I left I honestly stopped in. You know. >> Yeah, my phone says 6:00 was the sunset, so it wouldn't be dark. So when when you drove away from here, were you using your lights? >> Uh yeah, I had my lights on, yeah. >> Um >> Sometimes I do stop. I remember that I stopped sometimes like, you know, sometimes I stop on the side of the road to put makeup and stuff. I might have stopped, you know, too, but I honestly didn't think I got there that late to be honest with you. >> Yeah. >> I can see that, you know, obviously I was, but >> Well, my phone said sunset's at 6:00, but that's sunset, that's not dark. >> Yeah. >> But from what you're what you're saying, it was dark when you >> I thought it was, honestly. I thought it >> Maybe it was just a little later than you think. >> Maybe it was later than I thought, yeah. And honestly, I've been spacing out a lot lately with all those problems. Sometimes I'll just sit in my car, I'll put my makeup, you know, just to say, you know, I don't have anything really to come home, you know, my kids are not here. Tomorrow is different. Tomorrow I have my older son, but usually, you know what I mean, in the weekdays I get off work and stuff. It's like I'm not usually not you know, I go sometimes to Walmart. I didn't today, but that's usually what I do, you know, go do my groceries and stuff, and then I come home, you know, cuz my it's just me and my cats. So, you know, I don't really have much pressure to, you know, be at home at business time, you know. >> Your time is your own, huh? >> My my boyfriend gets [clears throat] mad usually. He's says "Where are you?" I'm blah blah. And that was kind of a blessing I don't have the phone today cuz if he calls and I'm in the casino, he gets mad. But >> When when did you last see him, your boyfriend? >> Uh it has been a while. It has been Shoot. Two two mon- three months, two three months. >> Oh, oh, a long time. Okay. >> Yeah, my babies my younger babies uh has been almost 6 months. So, yeah. They in Florida since May. >> Okay. >> Yeah, cuz that was before I met Ray and I worked for May from I don't know I don't even remember now. Three months or so. >> What's your boyfriend's >> Uh Clint Jones. >> Okay, so Clint Clint Jones, same as you. >> Yeah. I have used the same last name as his, but I'm not married. I just >> It's just easier >> to find a place is you have more chances if you have the same last name, basically. So, you know, cuz the realtors think you are married. So, you can combine the income and have a better chance to get a place. Otherwise, you can't get a place here. It's impossible. I don't know if you live here, but it's brutal. >> So, did you get your name changed to Jones, then? >> Yeah. No, I >> I changed to Jones cuz I hated my previous name anyways. That's the name of my son's first father. I hate it. It was hard to spell. It was really kind. It was hard to spell and stuff. So, I was like, "Okay, Jones is easier." >> So, so it's been a couple months since you seen Clint. >> Yeah, it has been a couple months. >> Um is there any chance he would come and to find you here? Does he know where you >> Oh yeah, he knows. Yeah, he knows everything. He knows the situation I'm staying here. He knows Ray has passed on. He knows everything. >> And and so where does Clint live? >> He's in Florida right now with his family. He's with our children, yeah. >> So, So, you have a 9-year-old in Colسینe County. >> Yeah, that one is Yeah, it's for another relationship and he lives in Colسینe County. >> So, you have younger kids with Clint. >> And I have two young kids with Clint. Yeah, I have two babies. Uh they are three and five. >> Okay. That's pretty cute. Cute age. >> Yeah. Yeah, they are. They they pretty sweet kids. >> Okay. And and they're in Florida. How long have they been in Florida? >> They've been in Florida for 6 months now. I sent them in May because we lost our house. That was way before I met Ray and all that stuff, you know. Ray was an angel in my life, you know, her father was an angel. One day I picked him on the side of the road, he was broke down. I helped him and from that on he became like a father to me, you know. >> Yeah. >> He was a 93-year-old man who was sweet little man. So when I brought him home I saw his house was like, you know, like hoarded and I was like, "I can help you clean up." And he was so happy and we did the jewelry together. We went to jewelry shows and stuff and it was unfortunate, you know, but anyhow, my kids before I met Ray I sent my kids to to Florida to stay with his their grandma because it's really hard to find a place here and I couldn't quit quit working and stuff. So I realized it was going to take me a while to save some money to get a place for my kids. So I sent the kids to Florida cuz it was just supposed to be just a couple months, but they've been there since May. >> to be hard. >> Yeah, it's Oh, yeah, very hard emotionally. >> And and they live with him? >> Yeah, they live with my Mhm, the their father. >> Okay. >> Yeah, and and the grandma's there, too. So he has some support and some help there, you know. He's a good dad, but we have our struggles. We've been going through some stuff, so yeah, it's been hard. That's one of the reasons that today I wasn't even my mind wasn't even, you know. >> And they have no relationship and it's far apart. That's got to be hard. >> It's hard, yeah, it takes a toll exactly and takes a toll on him because he's there taking care of the kids by himself and, you know, but there's nothing we can do now. Just hang on and, you know. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and so So I'm going to clarify my mind. You When did you move in here? We're We're in >> Yeah, it's We're in October 26th now. >> Yeah, it was like 3 months ago in end of July, I believe. Maybe a little bit after July. End of end of July, like 3 months. >> Okay. So, the end of July, when did you meet um Rick? >> It was around July. >> So, >> I'm pretty sure it was like 3 months ago, so. >> So, it it So, it was around So, were you not working for him before you moved in? >> No, no, no. I just I just met him. One day he was broke and now it's fine. >> Yeah, has >> He was He was broken down and I just picked him up and that's when it started with we just struck up a friendship. I was changing jobs anyways back then and he needed help. He needed somebody to help him, you know. His car back then his car obviously I met him his car was broke down. >> Yeah. >> So, it kept breaking down and then he needed people he needed me to take him to back and forth to work cuz he still work at 93. It was amazing, yeah. He work at Burger King every day uh part-time. So, I used to take him in the morning and pick and then in the in between I used to stay in town and yeah, I used to stay in town and just do InstaCart or DoorDash, whatever cuz it wasn't even worth to come back home because at 2:00 he he work from 9:00 to to 2:00. So, every day we had that routine and I would pick him up and then at night I would do some DoorDash or InstaCart or whatnot cuz you know, I had have my bills to pay. I couldn't stay with him all the time, but I stay with him most of the day. So, we were I was very fond of him, you know. He was he was a sweet man. >> And and so, I think I got one more thing that's kind of like the end of it. Um so, you They they you said they giving you a month to to find somewhere else. >> Uh so, yeah. She was cool. She told me that it was going to be approximately uh until she clears up everything. She want to clean cuz there's a lot of stuff in the house. She say that it was going to be at least a month or more. So, but it wasn't like a timeline or anything. She told me like it's going to take me more than a month to >> Okay. >> take all that stuff from the house and that's plenty time for me to save up enough money, you know, to get to a place. So, I wasn't really stressing. I'm about to get a small settlement for an injury that I had. So, that actually was going to give me enough time. I just need enough notice just to be able to find a storage pretty much, you know, if it comes to shove. But, she wasn't really like, you know, >> What was she going to do with the house? >> I have no idea. >> Do you know for sure? >> As far as I know, yes. I don't know if she was going to plan selling. I know it's complicated this the stuff with the house. I know they have like a reverse mortgage. >> But, did she say so you don't know if she was going to move in then or >> Oh, no. I don't think so. No. Her Her life was in Las Vegas. >> Okay. >> She's a nurse and her life was there. So, >> But, there was no talk about maybe you having the house? >> Me having the house? >> No, as far as I know, no. >> I mean, you couldn't She didn't talk about you renting it or anything? >> No, she They really want to They really want to just >> They're just going to sell and get out. >> Yeah, because it has a reverse mortgage on it. >> Yeah. >> As far as I know, there's a reverse mortgage. So, she just want to clean and make it good shape because that's what she told me. We didn't talk as much, but we talked sometimes. She was all right lady. She was a nice lady. She told me cuz one time I asked her and I was like, "Are you guys going to sell? You know, what are you planning to do?" And she was like, "No, it has a reverse mortgage on, but the bank if you you have to clean the house. You can't just return the house, you know, cuz Ray didn't cap the house or the lawn or anything. Obviously, let it fall apart. So, that was her plan to clean and put everything nice and neat to not and then notify them of his death because they'll come and they'll just going to take it the bank. So, nobody going to have the house anyway. So, >> All right. So, there was nothing left on the mortgage. he'd used it all? >> Nothing. Yeah. He didn't He didn't even pay the taxes over the house as far as I know. So, nobody's going to keep the house anyways. So, he was and I'm not going to continue living here, of course, and I already knew that. So, that's cool. >> Yeah. Oh, I see that now. I can see that. >> I was happy just for the 30 days that I was, you know, and I'm I'm sure Genie's still going to be okay once you guys clear for me to stay because I really don't have You know, my stuff is there. Everything that's downstairs is mine. >> Yeah. >> So. >> Yeah. >> My TVs are there. So, I really hope nobody really broke cuz that's I don't have nothing valuable, but it's the only stuff I have, me and my family, the the furniture, the stuff's pretty much all mine except for the stuff upstairs, some of the stuff upstairs, you know, his the old man's. >> The stuff that she's cleaning up. >> The stuff that she was taking, yeah. She has a bunch of of his beads and stuff she was taking. So. >> Um yeah, okay. So, >> She could have the the neighbor here even told me at one point, "I already want you to have them." Like, "It's hers." You know, that's her son's stuff her dead stuff. That was her stuff and I didn't really care about cuz I can buy it later on, you know, and she gave me some. She She was pretty nice, pretty generous. She gave me some of the beads and stuff for me to continue later on doing, you know, cuz I did jewelry too with him. I learned to do that stuff with Ray and she does that too as like on the side. >> Sure. >> And she's like, "Oh, well, going to whatever I don't want to you can have." So, she gave me some and she But it had tons. The whole room is beads. You guys going to see. They have He had beads everywhere, Ray. Yeah. >> Yeah. How good a job has she done cleaning up? Is Is there a lot of it out now or is it almost there or is >> There's like bags, garbage bags everywhere. That's the stuff she was doing. She was cleaning and just gathering cuz, you know, Ray was messy. It was a lot of garbage. You The carpet is black. Black black. Yeah. And that The carpet is no salvaging that carpet. It's the carpet is going to have to be, you know, when the whatever when the bank takes the house they're going to have to remove it. But, you know, yeah. >> Do you have any names? >> No. >> So, is there anything that we've not talked about that you think is important? >> No, not really. Just the time the the casino the time like I say, I'm sorry. We're going through this. I didn't break up with my boyfriend, but I can say I almost had a break up. We had a pretty bad fight over the phone yesterday and I didn't sleep much. I'm like today when I got to work all right, got there late because I couldn't sleep last night. So, of course I overslept in the morning. So, I'm like, "Oh, [ __ ] My alarm didn't go off." And I was like, "Oh my goodness." You know, cuz like I say, I don't even know where my freaking phone was. So, I'm like, "Oh my gosh." You know, uh >> I'm I'm thinking you you did what you left here a bit later than you thought. >> I haven't even seen it. Maybe I might I might honestly, I thought it was around 5:00. Like I say, I don't have a phone. I honestly thought it was around 5:00, you know, cuz you know, I went for a walk for a while and I didn't think I was out that much cuz it's kind of cold, you know, but I might have been after 5:00 in my mind and I thought I got at the casino earlier, too. I thought it was 6:00. I'm sorry. >> no that's fine. That's fine. Um Yeah, I I can't think of anything else. Uh yeah, thank thanks for explaining and everything that >> Yeah, sorry. It's like my brain's fried. Especially like it's not not a good sight to see like cop cars and ambulance. I'm like, "What the hell is going on?" And and then the officer told me suspicious death. I'm like, "Death?" I'm like, "We just had a person dying like 2 weeks 2 3 weeks ago. >> be on the cautious side. So, we have to, you know, we can't just say, "Oh, it's fine. We just walk in." And >> No, I understand. >> But, treat everything >> I know. I understand. I really want to my phone, but I understand you guys got to treat it like a crime scene and >> get that as soon as we can. >> I know. I understand also. I appreciate you guys being so nice. >> Of course. >> Cuz some cops are like [snorts] mean and I'm not saying all of them. I know some of you guys are really great and most of you guys are really great. >> Um >> Society is kind of twisted and you know, people don't like the cops, but we you know, we I appreciate you guys. >> Thank you. >> But it's really nice when you have like nice officers that treat people like human beings cuz some are so mean sometimes. And some are nice. I appreciate that. >> Especially like when the business talk comes in, you know. >> Yeah, it's just scary especially something like that. It means scary. >> All right. Well, um Has everything Has everything that you've told us been um true to the best of your knowledge? >> full to the best of my knowledge, yes, officer. >> Okay. >> To the best of my knowledge, you know what I mean? I spoke with her this morning. She called me Sorry. I actually called her. I called her because, you know, it was late already. I don't remember really the time, but I called and cuz she's usually here on like 10:30 or so. So I was like, "Are you coming?" and stuff, you know, when I thought my cat snuck out cuz she's terrified of the cats going outside cuz he brings stuff inside. >> Yeah. >> And I called her. I was like, "I'm sorry I'm I'm not sure if you George snuck outside cuz if someone open the door, he sneaks outside." And she's like, "Oh, no. Please leave him inside." And that was it. And she's actually I was like, "Are you still coming today?" She's like, "Yeah, I'm on my way." And she's like, "Please leave the door clo- Leave the door the There's a screen door, you know. She's like, [snorts] "Please don't let him out. Let Leave the screen door closed." And that was it. Okay. And then I was like And that was it. When she got here, I was getting ready. I was in the bathroom, you know, getting ready, doing my stuff. And I just like usually I just close the door and that's it, you know. After a while, I was like, "Bye, Suzy." And you know, that was it. She's like, "Bye." And I left. >> Okay.
