So, you got the neighbors who seen you. You got multiple neighbors who's seen the van there. You got a neighbor who physically seen you. You got the kid who's saying they seen you. And you got your tire tracks matching there. >> It's not good. >> I don't know how I don't know how the tire tracks could have matched. I don't And I definitely don't how these people could have seen me because that van was nowhere tonight. On January 9th, 2017 in Wheelersburg, Shiato County, Ohio, Carl Hayden was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Amber Pigay, who had died as a result of a shooting. Spoiler details are in the video description, and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> That Okay, so walk me through the whole entire day today. My gosh. I got up this morning bright and early and went to court. >> What time did you have court? >> 8:30. >> Okay. And what kind of hearing you guys have today? >> It just a pre-trial or pre something other, but you know, it didn't happen. Nothing happened. We just I said we had to go back. >> And who's your attorney? Do you have an attorney? >> Diver. >> Okay. And does she have an attorney? >> Gamble. Yeah, I think it is one. >> Um, they just come out and Bob told me he said we're going to send it to arbitration the 24th. >> Okay. >> What was that for? Custody or visitation or both. >> Both. Okay. >> So, I said, "Okay." So, we went downstairs and out, you know, me and him. I went out and got truck and left. And um then I went down the I don't know I was at their house for a while and then I came back. I had to go to the part store down by Weersburg and uh on the way up there I saw her car sitting there. I pulled in ran and talked sat there in the booth and talked to him. >> How'd she act then? >> Fine. I mean, we didn't we didn't have anything. She we got up and I took my daughter and when she got her plate and I brought my daughter back over with sat down with her and they eat and she talked to somebody she knew there. I don't some lady she knew in there. Everything was fine. >> Okay. >> We got up and left and she got in her car, left. I got mine and left and went home. >> Okay. And you've been home ever since? >> Been home ever since. Well, no, down the friend right down the road there in my truck. And And >> who's your friend? >> Jerry Hammonds. >> Okay. Lives right down the road from you. >> Yeah. We just go there and talk about cattle. >> Okay. >> And then I went back up the hill. Been there ever since. >> Okay. and my neighbors up there and I started hearing all this and I went I walked up there and told him I said it kind of looks like police may be coming up here in a little bit. I said cuz my kids is telling me they're saying I've done something. >> Okay. Well, here here's the thing is and like I said, I've known you for a long time and and you're a good guy and stuff, but but the problem I have is you're you're telling me you haven't been down there. Okay. You were down there at that trailer. >> That's right. >> Yeah, you was. >> Okay. Multiple witnesses have put you there at the trailer. Watched you. You were in the Town and Country van, the the burgundy one. Watched you pull in cuz the neighbors have been watching you with problems going on. Neighbors have been photographing you and watching you for some time. Well, you know, then >> uh they watched you beat on her door. >> Not tonight. >> Okay. I'm just telling you that that's what they've done. Here here's the thing is sometimes you know things happen and like I said I know that you're a good person and I know you love your daughter. I know that but you know sometimes things you know maybe they're not planned to happen you things just happen you know >> I've got witnesses right there working I wouldn't have a house would I wouldn't y'all know nowhere. >> Okay. Well, I'm like I said, I >> two witnesses right there. >> Okay. Well, >> my neighbors >> I I understand that you're saying that, but we've got everybody down there that's placed you there. >> That's just because they all >> Okay. Okay. And then, like I said, there there's multiple people that has placed you there down there to the house. >> Not tonight. I've not been down there tonight. Was not out. I was not off of Bloom Furnace tonight. And um and who you say do you got a phone number for Jerry? >> Yep. Three uh 778 >> Uhhuh. >> 000 48. >> Okay. And who else? Who's your other neighbor he's talking about? >> I I can't He give me He his name's John, but I Where does he live at? >> He lives in that house right behind me. >> You got a phone [snorts] number for him? >> No. >> Okay. >> He He gave it to me earlier and I >> Do you have your cell phone on you? >> No. >> Okay. You don't Where's your cell phone at? >> It's probably at the house that was dead. >> Okay. And who's that? Who's your cell phone through? >> Uh AT&T. >> AT&T. Why would uh unrelated people in the neighborhood, why would they uh put you there? >> Well, there's a couple people down there don't like me. Uh the landlord for one, and then um there's a guy and girl over behind them. Here's what happened. There's a sexual predator that's some to deal with her and she get it. It's her son's grandmother's boyfriend and I was trying to talk to some I talked to some neighbors down there. Well, this guy got all out of rate with me. He was so I just kind of left it alone. But I did talk to some of the other ones and nobody down there that I knew of was been out of shape of other than that one guy. And But no, if they're saying I was there tonight, they're wrong. >> Okay. >> I was not I was not off a bloom furnace tonight. >> Okay. There's multiple people that's placing you there. Okay. Not only they placing you there, they're also placing you shooting a gun in front of the trailer there. >> In front of the trailer. >> Mhm. Okay. >> When's the last time you shot a gun? Uh probably I think it was yesterday afternoon. >> And where'd you shoot that gun at? >> At behind a shotgun behind my house. >> And what kind of shotgun? >> It's a a 12 gauge. >> Okay. And where's that 12 gauge at now? >> It's at my house. >> Where at at your house? >> And closet. >> What other guns do you have there at your house? There's some more shotguns. And I got a rifle there. I don't know how I don't know how they come up. They think they seen me, but it wasn't me tonight. >> Okay. >> I've been there before. Like I told told them before, they they about a camera. I put I put a camera in the yard a long time ago. >> Right. >> They found it. >> Yeah. >> No big deal. He said you was always there watching her and following her. And I mean, we we've had multiple reports on you, but there's [snorts] people unrelated in the neighborhood that was out there tonight visiting people and they place you at her house. They the vehicle. They knew that you was the father of the youngest child. >> How would these unrelated people know that much? >> Huh? >> How would these unrelated >> people talk? Well, I understand, but how would they know that? Well, like I said, you're you're saying you wasn't there. >> We've got witness statements that put you there at the house, okay? And I'm just being straight up with you. And and the thing is, you know, I know I know you're a good person, okay? Good people make mistakes. Okay? >> I haven't done anything this time. >> Okay. Well, like I said, you know, >> they can they can say what they want to, but >> Okay. Like I said, you know, they they can place you there tonight. Okay. So, we know you were there tonight. Okay. >> No, you don't know I was there cuz I've been there. >> Okay. Well, I guess I'm probably going to jail tonight, so I reckon I might as well. >> Well, I haven't told you you're going to jail. I'm I'm just talking to you. I'm trying to make sense of this. >> I know, but you're telling me that people's stepping up. >> You want me You want me to be honest with you, >> but they're lying. >> And that's [snorts] what we going to get to the bottom of it. Like I said, that's why I'm getting information from you. >> Well, but I know. But them people that I got ain't going to be able to tell you tonight because [snorts] >> why can't they tell me tonight? >> Well, they could if you can get Jerry could if you can get him awake, but I doubt they can get him awake. But but the >> What was the time frame you was at Jerry's house? >> Um 4 to 5:00. >> What time did you leave? >> Leave Jerry's. >> Mhm. between four. Well, usually go up about 4:00. Of course, see, my time and your time is different. Okay. I have to look at that because >> So, your clock says 12:00, right? >> Yeah. Mine's 12:00 and it's actually 11. >> Okay. >> But I never change mine. >> Okay. >> So, I go up there at actually 5 at my >> Five on your watch. >> My watch. >> So, it's 4. >> And we usually out there by 6, 5. >> So, he was there a couple hours. >> No, about an hour. 5 to 6. >> Okay. >> And then I went back up to my house. >> Okay. Then how how can they say where you was at if they weren't up at the house with you? >> The people that lived in the house behind me knew I was there. >> Jerry Jerry lives down the road. He lives down. >> I know where Jerry lives. Yeah. >> There's a house right behind mine. >> Right. >> You come out of my driveway. the headlight the lights go right in people's window. >> Okay. Where do you keep your van parked at? >> I park it I I parked it where where it's at now. I parked it there last night cuz I hit a deer last night. >> Okay. Where'd you hit a deer at? >> Out there on 140. >> Okay. >> Right there in Webster. >> So, and where did you park your van at tonight? I I parked it there by the shoot where my cattle is. >> Okay. Where's that? Is there by a barn or something? I'm not. >> No, there's no barn yet. It's just a It's a lot. And there there's a there's a round there's a round roll of hay there. Just pulled up right against that round roll of hay. >> Okay. >> That's where it's been since last night. >> Okay. Um is it drivable? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Not a whole lot of damage from the deer. >> See, there's the whole thing right there. If these people knew anything, if it would have been my van, it's got a headlight out of it. >> Like I said, these people physically seen you, seen your face, seen the red band. >> It's not red start with >> burgundy, but people call it red. Burgundy red. It's all in the same color frame, but it is burgundy. And at one time they was posting that just like on this Facebook thing, everybody know what was going on. And it was a red Chevy and it's one I've heard two or three different >> these people these people told me it was a Town and um country Chrysler Burgundy. >> Is that what it is? >> They probably Yeah. >> They've probably seen it before. [snorts] >> I'm sure they have. I've had it for >> what? These people would have nothing to gain by telling us that you were there tonight. >> I know. I understand. >> And actually, >> what would I have to gain? >> Actually, the 911 call came in and the person was saying you was there. You were leaving in the town and country van, the direction of travel and everything. We were getting playbyplay. Then why did if if if they had all this, why did I call in to tell? Because I it went on for a long time and I finally said, "Why don't you better call somebody and find out what's going on?" >> Well, it's after your son called you. Ain't that right? >> After my daughter called, my son called. And I said, "Well, my stepdaughter called and I said, "Well, I'm better call somebody and see if we can get this." >> They were out looking for you at different places. >> Well, I mean, I was at home. >> I don't know. I I wasn't out there, so I can't say where they went and where they didn't go cuz I was not with them. Well, it was told that there was somebody was listening to it supposedly on a scanner and they were supposed to been chasing a vehicle and I don't know >> or was nobody chasing a vehicle cuz I I could hear the scanner. None of that happened. >> I don't know. I'm just telling you what I heard. But but I don't know. But they didn't see me. I can tell you that right now. I know Jerry won't be able to tell you that. >> [clears throat] >> If you can get a hold of him and he's got John and his number up top of the hill, they knew I was at home. >> So you say Jerry has that number. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> But they knew I was at home. They I even walked up there and talked to them cuz I when it was all come on the kids started tell me and I said I thought I better come and tell you because it sounds to me like there's somebody looking for me. And then I heard it was they was looking for my son and I thought because they had Argon Road, somebody had Argon Road on something and I got >> son that lives on Oregon. I don't know. I didn't >> And his name's Clark, >> right? >> And I thought, what what's he done? And they when I first when it first come out to me it was somebody got shot in Webster and they were looking for Carl Hayden, >> right? >> And I said, "Well, >> why did you pick up the phone then and call and say, "Hey, here I am." >> Well, I didn't know what to do. And then I thought, and then they said, well, you know, you hear stuff and they post stuff on Facebook and you don't know how they, you know, if it's true or not true. And then when I heard more, my daughter called me from Columbus and told me what went on. And I said, I got to call somebody. And that's what she Debbie said the same thing. She said, "Yeah, daddy, you better call somebody and tell them, you know, you need you need to talk to somebody." >> Okay. And what's Debbiey's phone number? >> 614 [sighs] 327 71 or 7221. 7112, I'm sorry. >> 7112. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Let me see if I can make contact with Jerry and I'll be right back in. Okay. Can you think of anything else that would be helpful? Anybody else that would have seen anything? >> Not unless I don't know. Did you get on with Jerry? >> No, he didn't answer the phone. >> Just >> Nobody knock on his door cuz they're out there. >> Well, the neighbor behind my house would be the one to get a hold of. Well, they've talked to him. >> Oh, they >> Yeah. >> What do you think he said? >> I'm confident. He's probably said I was there all evening. >> He said he said that you left in the van, but he has no idea where you went or how long you were [snorts] gone. >> So, it's the neighbors that seen you there and then your neighbors seeing you in the van. >> I didn't >> I mean, I'm just telling you. Okay. I mean, I'm being honest with you. Like I >> I left it in the truck, but I didn't leave in the van the night. >> Where'd you go in the truck? >> Upstairs. >> Well, yeah, but he said this was after that. >> Oh, >> later in the evening. He said they don't pay no attention to you cuz you come and go all the time. >> Yeah. The van had been sitting there all evening. So, I don't know how you see it leave, but And when he just told >> Anybody else have access to the van? >> No. He just told me he came up there a while ago. He said, "I know the man's been sitting out there all day." >> Yeah, but but that's to your face when we're up here. It's a whole different ballgame. >> I'm just, >> you know, so I I don't know. I'm not out there. I'm just telling you. >> Me either. I'm just telling you. I don't know either. But >> And I'm waiting for Jerry to call back, which Jerry ain't going to be. >> Jerry will not call you tonight. >> Yeah. And I mean, he's not going to be of much help. You were there for an hour and it ain't even the time in question. So he's he's not going to be of any help either way. So cuz he wouldn't have uh >> Yeah. It's We're always up at the same time every day, >> right? Like clockwork. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And like I said, that's not even the time in question. So that was uh before all that. Um are these the same clothes you had on today? >> Yes. >> Okay. Same clothes you had on at Ponderosa. >> Cuz I got cameras. I can go there and check them. >> I don't think so. I think I had I think I had my the shirt and stuff I had on um when I went to court. >> Okay. What was that? >> It was a burgundy. It was a burgundy shirt. Dress type shirt. >> What about pants? >> But I but I had I had to take it off I I took it off and put these on before [clears throat] I went to Jerry's. >> Okay. So, you had this on at Jerry's? Yes. Okay. Yeah, cuz I when I come in I don't I take my dress clothes off or my dress shirt off. I don't remember where these where actually splitting the wood before I went up to Derry's >> earlier today. >> Mhm. >> And what did you do after you got back from Jerry's? went to the house uh went out and fed the cattle and I was out in my garage talked on the phone. That's about it. >> Who'd you talk to on the phone? >> Talked to my word. Talked to him two or three times. >> Who's that? >> That's a guy who's I used to work with. >> Where does he live at? >> Out. >> What time did you talk to him? >> Oh gosh. I talked to Jeff or three times. I don't know. What's his phone number? >> 372 089. Do >> you call him from your cell phone? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Anybody else? >> You'll talk to my son. I called him and he called me back later. He was playing basketball. I called him the first time, I guess. And >> he was that David? >> Yeah. What's David's number? >> I can't tell you. >> I can't tell you. >> Yeah, that's okay. >> They would know it. Gosh. My daughter know might know it. >> Okay. Now, did you have a protection order? Did she have a protection order against you? >> She did have. They dropped all that. >> Okay. When was that? >> About a month or so ago. a couple months ago or something. >> And so you didn't have you guys weren't feuding or arguing when you was at Ponderosa? >> Nope. >> She wasn't mad that you came in? >> No. >> We s right there and talked and everything. Got up and I I carried the baby up while she fixed her plate and everything. >> Okay. Is a a fair assumption to say that her or your baby, I should say, and her uh child's very familiar with with you, know what you look like around you? >> My baby? >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. >> And what about the other one? The oldest son? >> Yeah. He'd know me. >> He'd know you, too. Okay. So, so if they if they seen you somewhere, if they said, "Hey, they seen you somewhere, then they they know who you are, and that's a fair assumption. They've seen you somewhere." >> Yeah, it's possible. >> Okay. I mean, my daughter, she probably couldn't specify who, you know, I >> But the older one could. If he sees you, he'll be able to say. >> Yeah, he probably could. >> Okay. >> Um, >> sometimes you got to kind of watch him. Some Sometimes he stretches things a little like he's bad in his pipe does. So, you kind of got to take it with a grain of salt, >> right? Well, I mean, we know how kids are. So, um I know they're and they're pulling, like I say, cameras cuz I know that, um Firehouse Pizza has cameras outside of their business. It shows the roadway on the 140. So, >> if um you were in that van and went that way, we'll also have it on film there. So, that's why I'm It's real important to be honest about everything. Um, so you're saying that you weren't in the van tonight and you never left the house after you got back from Jerry's? >> No, I did not. >> Okay. >> Well, wasn't long after I go got back from juries, it's dark. I wouldn't have drove that van with one headlight out anyway. >> People do every day. >> I know. Um, I got a weak one on my truck and it I kind of lry of driving it with it just not being bright as the other one. And I don't drive I don't want to drive one that with a headlight out cuz you get pulled over and >> um the guys are out there. They're um doing a search warrant on your van and on your house. Is there anything in there they're going to find that is of any concern to us? than any of us. >> Okay. >> I mean, they're going to find the rifles, some 22 rifle. I got a big rifle out there and I got some shotguns. Some of them blown me and some of them blown in the sun. >> Right. >> Like I said, and and I'm sure you know, like I said, BCI's here, so we will uh we'll take all the firearms, all the ammunition to match it up and everything. though to see. So that's what you know why I'm you know it's better to hear your version of >> So they're going to take all my guns out of there? >> Yes, we will take all your guns out of there. Yeah. >> And they will be sent for testing. >> Uh that that depends on a lot of things. >> Wow. >> Yeah. Uh you know if if we find a weapon that was used to hurt someone or kill someone then absolutely not. right now shouldn't be involved in anything like that. One shotgun out there that's my son's 30 or 31. I bought it the year he was born. >> All right. It's the old one. >> Old one. >> Yeah. >> He'll have a fifth to They'll take everything out. They'll take, you know, the ammunition because they can match up. >> There's all kinds of >> Yeah, I know. But they can BCI is so good that say for instance they recover a bullet or shell or anything at the scene they can say if it matches up the same ones it's your house in a box. I mean that's how good they are. I mean you know that that's what we call them best of the best. And that's why I'm just making you understand that's why you know that we'll do that and take everything out and everything. And that's that's another reason why, you know, I want, you know, you to be completely honest because if there's something there, we're gonna find it. And it's better if we hear your version versus what, you know, not not putting words in your mouth, but you know, we've got people who's placed you already there tonight. We've got witness statements not only placing you there, they and uh place you up in front of the trailer and shooting. And then of course you already know we found her inside. So >> I didn't know that. I was told she was in the driveway. >> Well, like I said, >> see this? [snorts] Yeah, I was told she was in the driveway. >> I don't know who would have told you that, but >> I'm not sure I've heard so much today. >> And that's why, you know, I'm >> That's the first time I've heard that she was inside. >> Yeah. Good people, And I'm just letting I've been doing this a long time. I think you know that >> good people make bad decisions sometimes. Sometimes >> you know we get mad you know you got a court case going on you got a child involved and sometimes people snap we know that doesn't make them monsters doesn't make them bad people and that's why I'm just I mean >> you know what we're going to find you know I'm not out there so that's why I'm giving you a chance to >> ain't nothing out there worry about let's take that place part. Okay. >> I don't >> And like I said, you know, and people can get rid of stuff, but you know, your your big concern, your big worry is you've got multiple people placing you out there with a gun shooting >> at the trailer. >> Ridiculous. >> I'm I'm just telling you. >> I know. I heard you say that, but it's ridiculous. >> I mean, they you know, these people wouldn't have no reason to lie on you because they don't even Yeah, they're bad on it. Some of these people out there and just like our landlord and stuff, they've done they've tried a lot of stuff. I've been threatened and everything else out there. They didn't come to the country store when I was getting my daughter threatened. >> Well, I mean, everybody's right. You was out there. You were driving by. You were watching her. She'd had domestic situations with you. That's why people started filming and put cameras up. >> But she had never had a domestic with me. We' never had a problem as far as Well, >> that's not what she's claimed. Well, I know. But is there anybody you can think of that we could talk to that would have information or know anything or >> not that I know of? >> Yeah. And BCI also is processing because you know there's snow and mud on the ground. They can do the tire tracks. They're actually comparing the tire tracks to the van with that now. So, we'll instantly know if that van was there. >> Technology is an amazing thing. >> Oh, I know. >> Not [snorts] so much when you do wrong, but when you're doing good, it's an amazing thing. >> Amazing thing. Yep. >> Is there any questions you have for me or >> No, I just it out now. see what since all these people's saying they seen me and >> I can just about see how that writing is going to come out but have to go down the road because that's not >> okay um I'm going to get one of the guys to come in here too cuz we're going to take all your clothing we'll give you you know you'll have something to wear but we will take um >> I guess you're loving me >> well I I don't know what I'm doing with you but I am taking your Okay. All right. No problem. >> Yeah. I mean, you got you got to understand I've got multiple witnesses that put you there. >> Everything matches as far as they they gave indepth description of your Town and Country Chrysler van, burgundy and color. >> Yeah. Well, they knew that. So, I mean that that's that's pretty easy to figure out. They knew the van, like you said, they've been filming me. So, they had they had they already knew what the van was. So, they just it's automatic that >> Well, you normally drive the truck. >> See you, huh? >> You normally drive the truck. Who said that? >> Huh? >> Who said that? >> A lot of people said that you've drove that silver truck. I've seen you in it before. >> I used to. >> How long you been driving the van? >> Probably six weeks. >> Is that your van? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> But they know the van and she did too. I mean, they all knew the van of her cuz they, like she said, they filmed it too. >> I don't know what they filmed. He said, That's how that's how they knew the van >> is. But I can I can tell you that that's a close-knit neighborhood. Houses are close. If they heard the least little thing, there's four or five houses right there that could have seen everything. >> Oh, I know. >> Without a shadow of a doubt. So, you know, the person non-related tells me and regardless who it is, they said they seen you and Burgundy Town and Country Van Ward for word. I mean, they have no reason to make that up. >> Yeah. They did, but it's Well, they used to haul it by my truck all the time then >> because it was [clears throat] loud. >> Just because it's loud. >> Well, that was that was the big thing with it was so loud. Everybody knew it, too. But I mean, you have when you wasn't hiding nothing. Like I told myself, I ain't hiding nothing. >> Right. >> Yeah. I drive through here public highway, >> right? But but oh, you're doing this. You're >> What did you think you was going to see? >> Honestly, I was watching to see where the baby was over and over and over. How many times? And coming in and out at night and and it cold and dragging it in and out. I I had that problem with me and her meeting at the gas station to exchange her. I went I bought a car seat. cuz I was tired of her being held out in the cold while one of the sky's cars. She'd out, put it in the other vehicle, >> right? >> So I I I b >> Right. >> So we end up doing that and you I just had a problem with with the weather with dragging her out and all that stuff. >> I understand that. But you know, worst thing that anybody could do to that little girl was take her mother away from her. >> I agree. >> Someone, you know, [snorts] I don't even have words for it. It's the worst thing that could have ever happened for her >> and I'll probably get to end up with a blame on them just because they got somebody just because people over there that's [snorts] and there and the landlord in that trailer. He's he's >> I'm not even talk to landlord. You keep bringing him up. This has nothing to do with the landlord. >> He's pumped a lot of people over there. Yeah. He's he's he's major been a major problem over there with all of it. He's one that threatened to break my arms and my >> You should have filed a report. >> I did. >> Okay. Then it should be on file then. >> But it it just every little thing. But these people seem to be over. So >> Well, let me get someone in here to uh get your clothes. Okay. >> Okay. Give me just a second. >> My shoes off. >> Yeah, hold on. Couple more questions. Um, in your van there's spotlight binoculars. What's that for? >> I spotlight that field out there behind the house sometimes. Just see like where the cattle and stuff's at. >> Okay. And yeah, I switch it back and forth from there to my truck, whichever which one of them in the time. >> Yeah. And here's um just off the phone now. They have they uh checked your tires to the Town and Country to the tire tracks down there at the house right where they said the Burgundy Town and Country was uh parked identical match. telling you. I mean, I'm just repeating you. I mean, it it don't look good. >> Don't look good for you. >> You got a person that put you there says your van was there. Now you got the identical tire tracks that match. >> I don't know. Why' you park it the van so far away from your house? I just the parked it up there because I a lot of times when I'm in my truck I'll swing [snorts] back and I don't always watch what I'm doing. Sometimes I'll swing it into it. So, and I don't put it in the garage all the time. Once in a while I put it in the garage, not all time. So, and I'm waiting on the insurance company. Supposed to been there sometime hopefully today. And baby's going to look at the damage. So, I just parked up there. Um, like I said, you know, and I'm just throwing this out there. You know, they've already placed your van there at the scene. Neighbors have placed you there. This is your chance to tell your side if it was something that it was an accident. You know, I I don't know. >> I wasn't there. They can say whatever they want. They can do whatever they want, but I was not. It's >> already confirmed your van was there and the neighbor already placed you there. >> Neighbor was able to pick you out of a lineup. Oh, that's good. Picked me out of a lineup. Ain't been in one yet. >> We made a lineup using your driver's license picture. So, yeah, you have been in a >> lineup and and then people I mean it [snorts] that ain't hard to figure out cuz I've talked to everybody over there. I mean, >> this person's never had a conversation with you ever. >> So, they're not a neighbor. >> They are a neighbor. >> Then they've had a conversation with me. I talked to every neighbor over there. >> You knocked on the door and talked to some about the sexual offender or whatever, but it's No, >> I've talked to every neighbor over there. And And if And if there if I talked to the man, the woman was there, too. H >> How can you explain your You're saying you weren't there. How do you explain your van being there? And the tire trucks match. >> My van wasn't there. Definitely not. >> Okay. Well, I'm telling you it was >> okay. >> Evidence don't lie. >> It wasn't there, sir. >> I mean, you just want me to You want me to be honest with you, and that's what I'm that's what I'm doing. >> Okay. I've tried to be honest, too. Nobody want to hear it. >> Well, it's not that we don't want to hear it. I just know that some of it's not the truth. >> Yes, it is. Everything I've just told you is the truth. That's just the way it is help people. Anybody I've talked to a lot of people and I bet you just like the guy brought me down here. He said, "I remember your face from somewhere." Well, sure. So does these other people. That's >> Well, here we'll put another one on it. Okay. Her son's been interviewed. The minute we walked in the door, minute someone walked in that door, what do you think he said? >> I have no idea. >> Why'd he shot my mom? >> I wonder where he would come up with that at >> because he's seen it. I And I definitely know how these people could have seen me because that van wasn't over tonight. That van hasn't been over. Uh, matter of fact, I don't remember the last time the van was over there, but it wasn't definitely I wasn't over tonight and nobody seen me over tonight cuz I wasn't over there. >> I'm just telling you what I'm being told. >> I understand that, dude. I'm not I'm not >> But I'm telling you that they're telling you one thing. I'm telling you something else. I know and I know for a fact that I wasn't over there. >> Okay. Well, there's multiple people saying you were. >> Okay. So, I'll make sure you understand that. Um, is there people in her family? Are they good people in her family? >> They don't they don't like me. >> Well, it doesn't matter whether they like you or not. I I got to figure out what I'm going to do with these kids. Well, her or the boy is the grandmother and then we'll take him. He stays over there most of the time anyway. Where's the kids at now? >> Huh? >> Where's the kids now? >> We have them. >> You have them? >> I don't. She takes them to her mom. I know like for a bit there because they they sleep all day and she's left by herself half the time and stuff like that. But >> well, it's family or children's services. So, >> um can my son or daughter come and get her? >> Probably not. a little there because hate to see that happen my kids couldn't >> well maybe something later they can but as of right now no I mean they'll have to be checked out background checks you know I don't know your kids from Adam. You know, they may be wonderful people, but I'm not the one that makes the decision. And they all have to be checked out. Anything else you can think? Any questions you have for me? No, >> not really. Nothing that I know of. I don't understand why people sit and talk stuff and we knew better. [clears throat] But there's there's been so much going on stuff just people they don't surprise me say anything. Um, where where's your phone at inside your house? Is there more than one phone or just one cell phone? >> Uh, it's it's on the counter, I think. >> Okay. You say it's AT&T? >> Yeah. >> You just didn't charge it today? >> No. I was there was so much going on. I was jumping back and forth. I didn't have time to do anything this evening. I usually charge put it on the charger, you know, at night. All this was going on.
