Okay. I I I'd tell you if I knew it. >> So, so basically where we found uh evidence that belongs to you is goes through >> on April 19th, 2017 in Benton County, Oregon. William Chase Harrove was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Anna Alexvna Repkina who had died as a result of a homicide. Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> All right. Um, so there's there's, like I said before, we're talking showing the map. We have we absolutely have to clear some stuff up. Okay. >> Okay. The thing that we got to clear up is I can tell you from the evidence that we are looking at right now is that I do not believe that you left your trash on the side of the Merkantile Galaxy store. >> Okay? >> I need you to be honest with me. We're investigating something very serious here. Okay? I need you to be honest and tell me exactly where you left your trash the day you drove to LC. Okay? Okay. >> I I can't change that. That's where I left it. >> What if we told you it wasn't there, though? >> I had nothing to do with that then, because that's where I left it. >> Okay. Um, okay. We'll get back to that. Okay. The other question we need to clear up, and you need to be completely honest with me about this, okay? Is we talked earlier to you about the fact that Kevin had blown you a a set of shotgun, whatever that was. Um, >> I had it for about two weeks. >> You had it for two weeks and then what happens? >> Um, I gave it back to Kevin. >> Give it back to Kevin. >> Yeah. What would you say if Kevin said that he never got it back from you? >> That's not in my possession. >> Did you give it Are you positive you give it back to Kevin or could have it ended up somewhere else? >> I would only give it back to Kevin. >> Where did you give it back to Kevin at? >> At his apartment. >> Cuz he said he never got it from you. What would you What would you say? How about that? I'd say I don't know why he's saying that because I cleaned it up and I gave it back to him. >> If he were to say he didn't get it back from you, is he lying? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Because I I literally I cleaned it back up and I gave it back to him. >> Okay. Um, do you have is there any guns in the house on Garfield or on the house or the house in um Albany right now? >> No, sir. >> If we were to look. >> No, sir. No weapons. I mean, couple of pocket knives, but >> any any shotgun ammo or anything like that or? >> No, sir. >> Any other ammo? >> No, sir. >> Okay. I might still have a spare 3030 round. back when I owned 3030. >> Just like a loose round or something. >> Yeah, sure. >> Okay. >> But that's it. >> Okay. [clears throat] Um so the trash we keep going back to >> Mhm. >> ends up absolutely nowhere near um the spousy store. Okay. I need you to think in your head as I'm talking if that is absolutely where you 100% remember putting it or if it could have ended up being placed somewhere else. Okay? Because what I'm getting at here is I understand that people can forget where they put stuff. I also know that people will hide things if they're embarrassed or they're worried about something else. Okay? Right? >> We're not here to judge you, but we're also not here to make more something more than it needs to be if it's something innocent. Okay? >> Right? >> Um and we're going to keep coming back to this. So, think about it, please, for me. >> Okay? >> And tell me what tell me tell me. Do you do you know where I'm getting with this? Where I'm going with this? Okay. Okay. Where did you think he's coming with that? >> Uh he's wondering if I was sleeping with Michelle instead of just driving. >> That was going on. >> Um No, we legit legitimately just drove. I at this point there's no standing in front of the house is one thing talking with Raleigh standing five people. >> Yeah, we we can understand why you don't want to tell us they're kind of easier for us and if if there if that was something that was going on that that's something we need to know about because it's going to be something that you can understand. We're we're not we we could give it two shits less if you were sleeping with her. Okay? That has nothing to do with me. That's your business. Okay? And I can understand why somebody would be embarrassed of of that, especially if you're trying to do the right thing for her and for the husband and for you when you're trying to put these pieces together and try to figure out where you want to go with your life in a relationship, >> right? >> So, if that was something going on, we need to be you need to be crystal clear with me about that. We're not investigating you and sleeping with Michelle, okay? We're looking into crimes and we need I need you to be 100% honest with me about exactly what happened, okay? Okay. So, please please tell me exactly what happened because I know it's not dropping the trash off and going back because that doesn't that doesn't make any sense. Okay? Tell me what happens. Explain to me what you guys did that's in addition [clears throat] to what we've already talked about. >> We drove off on a gravel road and had sex. >> Okay. Where was that at? um right next to the fish hatchery. But I did leave the trash exactly where I set it. >> Okay. >> But that that's that's no emission, no line, no nothing. >> You pull out before LC or after LC? >> Uh after LC, there's a little sign for a fish factory. There's a little gravel road down there. We went down there and had sex in the back of the Jeep. So just to clarify >> just to clarify west of Alc then like you're heading towards out of town not back not back or out of town. >> Okay. >> There's a like I said there's a little sign says fish fish hatchery. >> Right. You drive out there's you drive out of LC. There's a little sign says fish hatchery. Which way do you turn off the highway? This way. >> Right. Right. [clears throat] How far up that road did you go? >> Half a mile. Is it just a straight road? Is there any turns? Is there >> um It's a straight road. Little pull off on the left. >> Okay. Straight road. Little pull off. Is it pull off a another road you were down or is it a little place you pull? >> A little place to pull off and park. Okay. It's like a cove. >> So, it's not a dead end. >> I mean, it circles around, but yeah, it's a dead end. So fish turn down the road. You go down the road. Yeah, just draw it. Easier. >> So just do draw LC. Show me what LC is. >> That first line of the highway there. >> Yeah. So LC would be about here. This would be the fish fish hatchery sign down the road. There's a little itty bitty alcohol that you can park. >> How many miles it down is? >> I have no idea. >> Did you go by any forks or anything like that when you're going up that road you turn up on? >> No, it doesn't go up. >> Goes down. >> It It's level. >> It's level. >> Yeah. That's just like you pass a sign that says fish fish hatchery and then LC guard station. >> Okay. South here. This is Let's see. There's north. >> So this would be exiting LC right here. >> So about that. Was it a paved or a gravel road? >> Uh paved and then that little al cove is basically just dirt. [clears throat] >> So when you say al cove, you mean this whole area right here? >> Yes, sir. >> So this continues on the road continues on past that >> down to the fish hatchery and whatnot. Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> You're saying this is the fish hatchery? This is the fish hatchery sign. >> Yes, sir. That exits. >> Yes, sir. >> And there's buildings further down that road. >> Yes. in the fish hatchery buildings. >> This is where you pulled off. >> Yes, sir. How do you describe this as >> alove a gravel spot or Yeah, just >> So when you guys when you guys pulled off um could you guys back in or park facing in or do you remember? >> Um normally just park straight. What do you mean? >> By straight in like I pulled in and then backed out >> like head in and then backed out. Okay. And uh when you guys got there, did you go in the back seat or where'd you guys do? >> Back seat. >> Back seat. Okay. Did you get out of the vehicle to go to the back seat obviously or crawl the seats? >> Uh got out and got by the back passenger doors. >> Okay. Did you take anything out of the vehicle during that time or anything fall out or? >> Not to my knowledge. No, sir. And then how long would you guys say you guys maybe >> 20 minutes? Then where'd you go after that? >> All right. Um, we talked to Michelle. Is this exactly the same thing she would say that happened? >> I hope so. Why do you say that? She's got two kids and a husband that she's got to worry about. But >> if we talk to her one-on-one like we're doing with you, you know, in a private setting, is she going to be honest with us? >> Shouldn't you? I don't see any reason she wouldn't. >> Did Michelle see you or did Michelle help drop that trash on the side of the store? >> Uh, she was on her phone, but I assume she was paying attention enough to see me drop the trash on the side of the store. >> She would have seen that happen. Okay. So, why didn't you put it in the trash can that was right there? >> I just saw two black trash bags and set it on top >> of the black trash bags. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right. Is So, I can I can see obviously your your worry about talking about it was was out of respect or worry or fear or or what about the They're starting the process of divorce. >> Okay. So, they're not going to get back together. Are you worried about it coming out and then her not getting anything in divorce? Basically, because of >> I'm worried about her losing her son. >> Oh, custody. >> Yeah. Okay. >> So, that's my concern. >> Okay. [clears throat] Um, so what we'll the things we're going to do obviously and and tell me if there's anything that changes is, uh, John Boyce out there at a work is very good with the video stuff to help us out when they have check problems and stuff like that. So, if we were to check the videos uh through the store, is everything you said, the times you show up, what you buy, where you drop the trash, >> as accurate as it can be to my knowledge. >> Okay. >> I even spoke with a young lady behind the counter whom asked for my birthday instead of my ID and then got exceptionally happy because I already had my ID out. >> Okay. Um, so my question still hasn't been answered about exactly what really happened about why your trash ended up somewhere else. Okay. >> That I can't answer because I don't know. >> It's you didn't You're describing an area like before LC, right? >> Yes, sir. >> When you pulled over. >> No, no, not before LC. >> It's after LC. >> It's after LC. It's maybe three miles outside of LC when you see the fish hatchery signs. >> Okay. >> So, will um what I'm not understanding uh is the fish hatchery is actually before LC. It's actually on the side. >> So, really? >> Yeah. So, I mean there's just some stuff that's not making sense to us. >> I maybe it is the guard station. I thought it was a fish factory road. the guard station area where you >> Yes, sir. I really I thought that was a fish hatchery as well. >> Is it possible it could have been a different road? >> Uh, no, sir. That'd be the road. >> Okay. Um, while we're exploring these options, obviously, we've made a mistake of like maybe where you were a geography type area. >> Yeah, we can go down that road in a second. We can figure out exactly what that is. Um, is is this where Michelle's going to say exactly this happened to describe it as when we talked to her about it and she says that you drove just a little ways off the road on a paved road and you pulled off a little tiny spot. >> Is there any difference that she'll say where this happened at? >> No. >> Okay. Is there any other time where she says this would happen at? This is on Sunday, right? >> This is on Sunday. >> Just a minute. >> Mhm. She'll say it happened on Sunday. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Um, so obviously we don't when we when we talk to people, we don't talk about everything right off the bat because we want to make sure to talk to you and give you the opportunity to tell exactly what you know happened for you. >> Okay. I I can imagine that while you've been talking to us, you've Have you created any assumptions in your head of why we're talking to you at all? >> Well, it's definitely not over letter. >> What do you think it's about? >> I have no idea, but I've never seen anybody ask this many questions over a letter. So, >> what is your something? >> What are your assumptions? What do you think we're talking about, Peter? >> I have no idea, honestly. But you said it was warehouser getting upset about litter on their property and >> yeah litter on warehouse property is is a portion of this. Um and I can assume that you're you know you're a smart guy. I mean I I I'm sure that you've come up with at least some sort of a theory in your head of the reasons why we are talking to you. >> I have no idea. I honestly don't. I mean, unless somebody robbed the store out there. >> Like my partner was saying earlier, it would behoove you to be as honest and complete as possible, even though you're embarrassed about some of the details. You know, >> you got it all. That's it. Lock stock and barrel. >> Okay. Um before this day, when was the last time you were out in that area at all? I went to Mary's Peak in November. Like the the actual summit, not >> this last November? >> Yes, sir. Other than that, I don't go out there. I'll see. >> Were you by yourself? >> Um, yeah, I was, actually. Did you take uh which vehicle did you take up there? >> Um I took a green 1993 Dodge Stealth. >> Oh, you had another one? >> Yeah. Right before it went off on the road and tried to kill me. >> Why were you up there? >> Cuz it's pretty. >> Just driving. >> Yeah. >> I drive to think. >> Um I like going through the turns on the way out there. >> The curves. Yeah, it's a pretty fun road to drive >> and so >> you don't get car. >> True. Um, so yeah, the trash is obviously a part of what the thing is we're looking at. Okay. >> And that's going to why we're talking to you. It's why we've we know the we know and that's why we ask the questions we ask what I'm looking for you is some uh some more details about exactly uh exactly what happened through this day. Um and the reason I the reason I asked that now is because obviously you changed some of the stories and the ideas of of what's happened down the road. Okay. Um, [clears throat] >> you've said you at least passed LC and went somewhere else. >> Yes, sir. >> How many miles do you think you went past LC? >> Two to three. Um, so the signs I remember are the fish hatchery and the LC guard station. >> Okay. Those are the only signs that stand out in my mind. >> And you said you turned right from the highway. >> Yes, sir. right from the highway onto a paved road, which is why I assumed it was fish hatchery. Uh cuz that's normally paved if I'm not mistaken. And I pulled off. I mean, literally, it might might be two miles up that road. >> Up the road. Yes, sir. >> There's no like it's a nice level landing. There's no >> But you went quite a distance. two miles, >> I guess. >> I mean, >> are you packing houses and stuff or were you passing? >> So, past the food bank. >> Okay. >> NFC. >> Mhm. Okay. >> Uh that starts with a J or something. Food bank. And then uh there's a road almost immediately after that that is I thought it was the fish hatchery road, but I'm going to guess it's the LC guard station. Okay. He said the paved road must understand. Absolutely. >> Did you go out the same way you came in? You went up that road? >> Yes, sir. >> Is it possible you could maybe mis mis remembering it going uphill or downhill or being level? >> Yeah, it's a level road. I mean, I'm pretty damn certain it's a level road. It's not far outside of Nelson. >> Okay. Um, so how would evidence from you end up up a a logging road? >> A different road. >> A different logging road, a gravel road. If if you went up a gravel road and ended up somewhere else, we need to know that, too. Well, if that's what If you're not complete, people make mistakes obviously. If you're not completely clear with the idea of it's a paved road or not, that's fine. Okay? If it was a gravel road, let's just figure this out and put these pieces together. Okay? >> Right. There was no uphill. >> There's no uphill at all. >> There was no uphill. >> How would something that belonged to you though end up up a uphill logging road then? >> Cannot answer that statement because I do not know. >> That is beyond my ability to answer, man. >> Okay. I I I'd tell you if I knew it. >> So with So basically where we found uh evidence that belongs to you is goes through equip like equipment areas within equipment and they keep especially heavy equipment out in the woods. It's not uncommon for them to have uh to keep make sure that people aren't vandalizing stuff and to have cameras on stuff like that there whether it's the >> station logging operation operation or something like that so they can keep track of stuff. >> Um >> that's common. >> We're going to What would you say if your car was up in those gravel areas? >> Not recently. There's no way. Not with me driving. >> Okay. >> There's absolutely no way. I don't feel safe on those tires. >> Okay. Um >> I more than likely have a freaking blowout trying to get up anything like that. >> Have you lent your vehicle to anyone recently? >> Um no. >> Since you owned it? >> No. Um >> yeah, it hasn't left my possession. >> Okay. Like I don't feel I feel unsafe in that vehicle enough that the red Jeep sitting in front of it that belongs to a friend of ours is the vehicle I take to work on occasionally just because you feel safe because >> those tires are much >> they're not climbing anything >> when you went out there with U Michelle Um, did you still have that shotgun? >> No, sir. >> Where was it? >> I don't know. Like I said, I gave it back to Kevin. I had it for two weeks. >> Okay. So, how long before you and Michelle went out there did you give it back to Kevin? >> Almost a month before. >> Yes, sir. Let me ask you this. Has Kevin ever driven your vehicle? >> No. Kevin does not have a driver's license. >> He doesn't drive at all. >> No, sir. And he can't drive a manual. >> Oh, is your is your back out of state? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Has he never driven or is you know why he doesn't drive? So, he originally owned a vehicle a while back and uh >> when I say a while back, I mean right out of high school and he's 35 or 36 now. >> Yeah. >> Um he owns his vehicle for a week before it broke down and he started getting rides and then with his health problems he just doesn't feel safe driving. >> He's never got a license. >> Yeah. like I had to drive him to try and help him renew his ID card so he could keep his job. >> Oh, okay. So, um did you see when you drove off that road with Michelle, did you see anything like on the sides of the road besides trees? >> Um um early model Chevy. >> The car. Yeah. Hit up truck. Uh when I say early model, I mean early 90s model. >> Okay. Was it empty? Was it parked? Was it >> um there was a dog in the passenger seat. I couldn't see the driver. >> Uh what color was it? >> Uh it's a dual tone. The I don't remember what color the hood and the top was, but the side of it was silver. A dark silver >> dual. So like there was like a stripe or it was like different color on the top or bottom. >> Um you know how the old Chevys used to have the bottom color a stripe and then the top color >> the top and bottle being the same. Only thing I remember is silver in the center. >> Did it have a cab or a camper shell on the back? Um, it had a not a camper show, but a um um your standard fold top like a >> a shell just a >> Oh, like a like a like a c like a not a camper shell, but like a actual just a >> Yeah. Yeah. Just an enclosure the cover with the the >> window that opens in the back. >> What color was that shell? >> Uh the shell was black. I'm not mistaken. >> I believe it was a black ob. Is there anyone around it? >> Uh, there was somebody sitting in the driver's seat, but I didn't get a good look at them. >> Someone sitting in the driver seat, sir? >> Yes, sir. But I I didn't take a good look at them. >> Okay. >> No, I don't. >> All I could see was a hand and a cell phone. >> Anything else around it? >> No, sir. Try try You lock up. >> Oh, just dispatch. They freak out. They don't hear from us for long. We're still out of >> Yeah. So, I guess that no biggie. Um, okay. So, you saw this early 90s Chevy uh multicolored camera shell on the back of it, black lab, some sort of dog, dark color dog in the passenger seat. >> I think it was a black lab. >> How was it How was it parked when you saw the truck? >> Uh, it was just on the side of the road. >> Like parallel perpendicular. >> Parallel to the road. >> Parallel to the road. Okay. Was there anything else around it? any other items or equipment or >> um not to my knowledge. >> Do you remember any anything? You remember? >> No, that I remember the truck and the dog. >> Okay. >> It was on the um it wasn't parked on the right side of the road. It was parked on the far side into oncoming traffic. >> So, it was facing you then? >> Uh as I left. So when we pulled in, >> it was off to the side of the road with the passenger side >> facing out. >> So you were driving down the road, it was this on the side of the road. Yes, sir. >> Basically parked against oncoming traffic. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So for the pulling over on this side of the road. Okay. So, anything else about this truck that was parked on the road that you remember? >> No, there I should have looked the license plate, but I didn't. >> Why you say that? >> Because I remember license plates fairly well. Why do you why do you think you should have looked at it more carefully? >> I could give you more detail. [snorts] >> Nothing else. They could say, "Yeah, we saw him pass by or whatnot." >> Okay. What else can you talk about? >> Um, he just recalled seeing a early 90 Chevy out there on the side of the road, multicolored, silver with a black camper shell. He said there was a dog in the passenger seat, dark colored dog. Someone was sitting in the driver's seat. We didn't see who it was. Um, so when when's the last when's the last time you were out again? >> Before >> before this weekend? >> Um, last time I was in LC would have been actually in LC. >> Was that in that area? >> Uh, the last time I was in that area was Mary's Peak in November. Okay. In your other car? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Did you uh when you borrowed that uh shotgun from Kevin, >> where'd you take it >> home? Took it to Albany. >> To Albany. Okay. >> Cleaned it up and put it back in the case. >> You cleaned it there. >> So Michelle saw you have the gun and her husband saw you have the gun. Stuff like that. >> Raleigh doesn't pay attention to anything, but Yeah. Michelle knew I had it in the house. >> Okay. She saw it there. Yeah. >> Was she pissed or upset that you had >> No, no, no. I told her why I was going to do it. She's like, "Did it coming with ammunition?" I said, "No." >> Okay. >> She worried about it being around the kids and stuff or >> No. >> Did you uh bring it to your other apartment or at all or >> not once? Okay. >> We went last camping in Alcar. um in the LC area with Michelle a couple of months ago. Maybe >> just two of you guys. >> Yeah, it was just the two of us. >> Where'd you guys go? >> Uh on one of the landings on Mary's Peak >> off Mary Peak Road. >> Okay. Tell me about when you guys been camping past LC. Um, >> just recently >> logging road I think one of Sam used to take me out past up next was gravel pit. >> Okay. So the guy your friend you went shooting with? >> Yeah, but she and I didn't actually go camping because she was at work. >> Okay. Explain that long ago to me. um starts out with a curve. You come up a hill around a bend. There's a split. Um normally we just go right past the gravel pit and out towards a landing out there. >> Okay. [clears throat] And he you go when you hit the the the split, you go which way? Right. Generally >> go right. >> Yes. >> Then how does that go up? >> Um that goes up and down and curves a lot. Eventually it comes up next to the gravel pit and you go a little bit further past and it hits a um clearing. >> So you know about that area cuz your buddy, the guy who committed suicide took you out there to go shooting. >> Yeah, that was a gravel pit he liked to go to. >> Okay. So you're somewhat familiar with that area then? >> From time with him and Not enough to get around anymore, but yeah, enough to get the gravel pen back. >> So, what did you guys do that night? >> We lit a fire and curled up and talked. >> Okay, >> that was about it. No sex, no nothing. We just talked. >> Drug and alcohol. No, >> it's like that. >> Mhm. >> No, she uh she had to go back to work and I don't drink and drive. I refuse to. >> Have you been up there multiple times with her? >> No, just once. >> Okay. Well, tell me about the time that you guys were there and you went all the way to the top and you guys were drinking up there. >> Mhm. >> Nothing happened. What would you say if you just said it happened? >> Drinking. I mean, we had a beer while we were camping. Camping, but like No, you say drinking. I think >> kidding. Plastered. >> Plastered. No, just had a beer or two and then came back down and that was it. >> Like we didn't I think we fell asleep for an hour before she had to wake up and go for a scheduled call. >> Where was that? Where was that place at? Um, I'll pass. >> Okay. Explain to me how you get there. As much detail as possible from Highway 34. So, Highway 34 would be going through Elsie, right? >> Yep. >> Go out um I want to see past a church, then you turn right off the road. You go through a curve. It climbs for a while. You curve again. You come to the split. Um, go left. I think you come up to a little clearing and then you go up a hill up to a giant gravel pit. Okay. So, it sounds like you've been out there quite a bit in that general area. >> Not quite a bit. Just like I said, I used to go out there all the time with Sam. >> Go shooting. Go hang out with Michelle. Go camping. >> Uh, not going out to hang out with Michelle. >> Well, she and I went out there once to try and get away from the world. >> Yeah. Talk and relax and stuff, you know. >> And I don't generally go out there anymore. If I if I decide I want to drive or something, I just drive to Newport. >> All right. >> So, well, what happened out there this weekend? >> Okay. We've been through that. >> What happened out there this weekend? The same place we're just talking about. >> What really happened? >> I wasn't up there. And if you guys don't believe that, then there's nothing I can do about that. The reason I ask is because within talking to Michelle, there's a lot of inconsistencies. Okay. >> I'm trying to figure out why that is. You're the one who knows that. Okay. If there's if there's like I said again, if there's things that you're embarrassed about or anything else, that's fine. We just need to get to the actual truth of this whole thing. All right? And we then we figure out where we need to go from there. But until we get to that point, we have to keep kind of pulling this stuff out as little as it comes. See what I mean? It's what we what's what we do is what we have to do. Um I know you say that's you've said everything that that's exactly what happened but you know the things we've talked about I know I know people forget stuff that's fine but when you say I'm in LC in since November but you've been there you know fairly recently way way sooner than November. >> Yeah. I wasn't thinking about the camping trip because it wasn't actually camping. It was just hanging out. >> No obviously you're familiar with that area. That's why you that's why you uh why you went there the first time because you said you knew it in the past and you have uh prior knowledge that place which explains why you would go there. Uh what doesn't make sense to me at this point is why you don't want to put yourself in this same area this weekend when all the stuff you've done so far and that we know that's where you were. Why is that why why is it why is it hard too hard to say that's where you were this weekend that that's where you were? >> Because you're asking if I ever went up the logging road. I didn't go up to 11 road this weekend. Okay. So, there's like there's nothing I can't. You were asking if I went up the logging road this weekend and I've already told you now I didn't. >> Okay. >> I've told you where I've been and you're circling back to the fact that I was on the logging road when I wasn't. there's certain facts and statements that along with the inconsistencies, you know, so far that suggest otherwise. So, like my partner was saying, this is your your time to help us understand what really happened. And if there's something you're embarrassed of or something that you don't quite know how to explain, you know, or rationalize, we can we can talk about that. Okay? We can figure that out. Okay. But you got to be 100% with us. >> Okay. >> Straight up. >> So again, you guys are circling back to the fact that I was on the long road when I wasn't. >> Mhm. >> So if that's what we're going to be stuck here doing all day, we're going to be on an slope, guys. >> Okay. I I'm not I'm not trying to be mean there. I'm just like y'all are saying, I've been on the long run this weekend. I didn't I'm at half that distance. I was not up there. >> Okay. >> How did it slip your mind from the previous time that you went up there? >> So, the time that I went up there with Michelle. >> Mhm. >> Because we were up there for maybe 4 hours and I didn't even think about it. >> Okay. It's It's a blip on my radar. Okay. Sorry, but it wasn't anything spectacular. It wasn't like we spent all night having sex or something like that. >> We literally went up there and hung out. >> Went up there, hung out, had a couple beers, >> and then came back and that was it. Like I I love the girl to death, but it was nothing spectacular. It wasn't anything monumental. It wasn't anything life-changing. It was literally just >> Okay. So, Will, I can tell you you care a lot about Michelle. >> Yeah. Um, if you're protecting her for some reason or trying to protect her from her husband finding out about something, like we'll totally understand that obviously, you know, but if there's other stuff that's been going on too, we want to know about that as well. Okay. um you know, if you're telling us things or behaving in certain ways because you care about her and you're trying to protect her, that's something I can understand. You know, I can relate to that. So, but right now, the things you're telling us, um they're just not making sense to me. So, um, help me help us understand what really happened. Okay? And I I I know I don't want to go through this endless loop with you. I can tell you're recalling more and more and more and more detail here and there, and you're trying to be more and more and more helpful to us, and I appreciate that. Um, but like I said, we need the whole truth from you, not just bits and pieces here and there or like, "Oh, I recall this, but now I recall that." You know, >> I get >> I need you to I need you to, you know, rack your brain and and be completely truthful with us. >> Everything's there. >> You're a Everything I was there. >> You're a You're a protector by nature. You are. I mean, you're a bouncer, right? You look out for people. That's if you did the peacock, >> you bounce other places, too. >> Before. >> No. >> Just the peacock. >> By accident. >> Well, yeah. You did it for a couple years, right? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, you you looked out for people. You protected them while they were there. Made sure everyone had a safe night for the most part. Broke up any fights and stuff like that. You even told us you would hop in with Michelle, make sure her cab fairs, treated her right, make sure she, you know, didn't have any weird guys trying to do anything to her or anything like that. You're a protector. I can totally tell that. Okay. being around other people in law enforcement, we have similar personalities. You know, we're we're looking out for the weakling, the weak guys, that kind of thing. So, you know, if things you've said or things you've done have been to protect Michelle, I can completely understand where you're coming from. Okay. Um, they may be hard to talk about, and I totally get that, too. But, you know, that's just something we need to we're going to need to work through, you know. So, That's where I'm at right now. Okay. >> Okay. >> I think I think there's more that you want to say to us. Um but you know, there's something you're going to have to come forward with and be truthful about. >> I got nothing more. >> You say you read the news >> on occasion. CNN mainly. Do you read local news at all? >> No. CNN and BBC just to see what's going on in the world. >> You look at any like the local newspapers or local stuff like that at all? >> No. Okay. >> I literally just look at BBC and CNN. >> Nothing really ever happens in I don't unless it's a massive wreck and I'm wondering if anybody I know died. I don't check. You're online a lot though, right? You had Facebook. >> I had Facebook. >> Used to have Facebook. >> Yeah. >> Um, you read the GT because at times >> Democrat Herald or whatever Albony has. >> Mhm. >> No. >> Don't Don't even pick them up when they're at work. >> I haven't years. Right. >> [clears throat] >> You figure that again was 200 shaft. So you don't have that shotgun no more anymore. >> It's not in my possession. I give it back to Kevin. >> Okay. >> Uh without a doubt not in your possession. Without a doubt. >> Not in either bedroom. >> Either bedroom. >> Not at Garfield. Not at the house. >> So going go back to Garfield. How many bedrooms is that place? >> One. >> One. Has like a living room, kitchen, >> living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, bathrooms attached to the bedroom. >> Okay. How long did uh live there? >> I don't know. She didn't tell you. >> Never asked. >> Is any of her her stuff still there? >> Um, negative. >> Everything that's in there at this point is mine. >> And uh when did she move out? >> Beginning of April March. >> So 20 days ago or so. I just uh literally had the place for like half a month. >> And uh when she moved out, where'd she go? >> I have no idea. >> She had a car, vehicle. >> Um >> anyone who helped her move? >> She had a friend that came over and helped her pack everything up. Uh tall, skinny guy, black hair, probably 62, went to the gym together. You know who he was? >> No idea. >> Did you mention his name or anything? >> I met him once and he seemed like he was just stoned out of his mind the entire time. >> When did you meet him? >> Um, beginning of March. >> What What setting were at? >> Um, I stopped by to pick her up and he was leaving. >> Pick her up from where? her apartment. >> They're on Garfield. >> Yes, sir. And he was leaving. >> Leaving on foot or in a car or >> uh he left on foot. He walked up towards Kings. >> Okay. How old was he roughly? >> Mid 20s. 25 26. Okay. She didn't mention her talking about him very much or tell you who it was. No, she just said that was one of the people she went to the gym with. >> Like the gym to work out. >> Mhm. >> She mentioned what gym she went to. >> No, I didn't ask. >> Did you guys ever work out together? >> No. [clears throat] >> No. >> No, I don't go to the gym, man. It's embarrassing enough that I weigh 217bs. >> Got to sit somewhere, though. I know. I know. I do. Since staying at least, I've lost 13 lbs. So, if I keep this up, maybe I'll hit the gym. But >> you're on your feet more, probably. >> Oh, much more. >> Yeah. >> I move around probably twice as much as I used to. >> So, will your trash was found or somebody was killed? >> I'm just what? Okay, that's what we're talking about here. That's why we're here today. So, we are talking about something a lot more serious than your life, your worries, your sexual habits. We're talking about something that's a very serious thing. Okay. Very serious crime. You can understand that. >> Yeah, I get that. >> So, we need the complete clear concise [clears throat] story exactly of what happened. Because we could either be looking at something where, you know, you're embarrassed about something else that's nothing to do with this or it's making you look like you're hiding something for a different reason. Okay. >> Yeah. >> There's multiple ways this could have happened or gone down. Okay. We're just trying to understand how or why. Okay. >> Gotcha. >> Could be an accident. could be, you know, stupidity, negligence, I don't know. So, we need the whole complete truth from you to fill in the blanks. >> You guys are looking at me for this. >> Your trash, like my partner said, was found there. >> Your your stuff was found at a scene where somebody died. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So obviously we we have to think about stuff as it happens in a whole. All right. Talking to you, there's a lot of inconsistencies with your story about what what happened. I understand that maybe up to this point you felt like maybe we were prying into your personal life about the things that you were doing and the things that you were engaging in this weekend with Michelle. But there's a bigger story here. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, if that can help give a little bit more clarity to why we're talking to you, I don't want to go in circles anymore, but we got to keep talking. Okay. >> Okay. You see where we're coming from? >> Yeah. Like I said, if it was something that was accidental or, you know, careless or whatever, we can get past that. Okay? But you can see how this looks right now. Okay? We need you to help us fill in the blanks, fill in the details, and we'll go from there. >> You guys are looking at me for this lawyer. William Chase Hargrove was originally charged in Benton County, Oregon with murder, identity theft, and two counts of secondderee theft in the 2017 death of Anna Alexvna Repkina. A jury first convicted him on all counts on November 22nd, 2019. The Oregon Court of Appeals later reversed only the murder conviction and remanded that count. After a 2025 retrial, a Benton County jury again found him guilty of seconddegree murder on June 6th, 2025. On June 18th, 2025, Judge Matthew Donahghue imposed life in prison with a 25-year minimum before parole eligibility on the murder count, plus additional time on the remaining theft conviction with credit for time served since his April 2017 arrest. As of the most recent verified reporting after that sentencing, Harg Grove remains incarcerated in Oregon and is not eligible for parole until he has served the 25-year minimum, accounting for jail credit.
