Okay. So, remember when we started talking, right? >> Yeah. >> I told you I know everything about you, Steve. >> I know. >> I know everything about I know more about your wife and your Brin and yourself probably than you do. >> On April 14th, 2023, in New Hover County, North Carolina, Steven Douglas Bales Jr. was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Kayla Saddowski, who had died as a result of a homicide. So, and I'm going to ask you straight up, is there any reason, or I should say, would it surprise you to know that we have a Facebook conversation between you and Brin at Boy'sville that night? Spoiler details are in the video description, and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> So, we're both detectives. Neither one of us are lawyers. So, do you want to talk to us? Um, I'll answer some questions, whatever you guys got, the best as I know. But my mom says she's going to try to do everything she can to get me a lawyer and everything. So >> So is that you want to answer our questions then? >> Uh, but I can stop anytime. >> You can stop anytime you want. >> Okay. >> Okay. So here's the deal. Like I said, we have a lot to talk about. Um, we've been working this case, you know, when she was found. So we've had a team of detectives. >> It's all over Facebook. Okay. So, we've had a team of detectives working on this since March 2nd. Okay. We know and I'm just letting you know ahead of time cuz I I'm a very candid guy, right? So, we know everything about you. We know everything about Brin. We know everything about Kayn. We know everything about Sierra. We know everything about Nitarina. We know everything about Cody Rosetta. Everyone. So, the reason why I'm telling you this is we we would love you to fill in some details. wife's not locked up. >> So, the reason why I'm telling you this >> is we'd love for you to fill in some details, but if you tell us any lies, both of us immediately are going to know. Like immediately. >> Okay? >> If you tell us a half truth, we're immediately going to know. Does that make sense? So, when we talk here, honestly, I would ra if you're planning on lying, even a little one, let's end it now. I I would rather you just walk out now. All I say I did not kill that girl. >> Me and my wife were on our honeymoon. We went down to >> on We got married on the 14th. >> Okay. >> Kayla, my ex-girlfriend. >> Okay. On 14th of what? >> Of um Valentine's Day. We got married >> on the 15th. Well, I was supposed to take her that on the 13th, but I told I told Chevy I couldn't take her because I'm getting married tomorrow. I'll take you out on the 15th. >> Take uh told who? >> Chevy. Heather. >> Heather. Kayla's sister. >> Yep. >> That I would be announcing. >> Oh, I don't know her last name. >> Okay. >> But she uh she was at my wedding and I said, "Well, you have to come to my wedding because we're going to get married on the 14th, but on the 15th, I could take you down in South Carolina to see your boyfriend." She was going to pay me 200 bucks, >> okay, >> to do it. So, I said, "Okay, cool." So, on the 15th, we went down there. >> What time did you leave on the 15th? >> Um, sometime in like an afternoon. >> I think it was like an afternoon, I believe. So, and then we went down there. I said, "You know what? We just got married. We'll stay down here for a few days." >> Went down where? >> South Carolina from our beach >> where her boyfriend lived. Um, I got all the the address and everything on my wife's phone, me GPS. Uh, but anyways, we we went down there. I said, "You know what? I don't feel like going all the way back right away. So, let's just stay for a few days." So, we got a room. We stayed down there for a couple days, then ended up staying for another couple days to start our honeymoon. But we didn't start our honeymoon until after we got the check on the second. >> So you stayed down there from from the 15th when you left in the afternoon and you stayed down there all the way through March 2nd. >> Right. All the way till like the 17th and then we came back. We left on the 17th. I have pictures of it saying the 15th and the 17th of Murder Beach. >> Okay. So, >> so you're saying >> but on the 18th we start. >> Yes. Okay. >> On the 18th we came back towards >> towards Michigan but we you know it's a long ass drive. So we stop every rest we would stop rest me and Bren would we take turns back and forth and um >> so [clears throat] who was with you on the trip to Myrtle Beach? >> Just us three. >> So you Sierra and Bren and Heather right >> in Nina. So that's five. >> Yes. Okay. [clears throat] So after that, well, we we only we had five. You came back before? Yes. So we come back before I got two beds. Two for daughter and my cousin. They were in one bed and then me and my wife in the other bed. Um >> your daughter being Sierra. >> Yes. So then we come back. We stayed a few days until uh I can't remember what day it was cuz our check [snorts] didn't show up. So, we went to social security and I can't remember what day it was. It's on the phone though. And uh they said, "Okay, the check should be there on the 2nd cuz we're supposed to get it on the first." So, we waited and waited. We finally got it. We finally got the check. After we got the check, we finally went and cashed it after that cuz we already had our stuff planned. We already we're going to start our honeymoon, go down to Florida cuz she has a sister down there. >> So, we waited, we got the check, we cashed it, and then right after we cashed it, it was around probably about noon, noonish, something like that. We took off and >> Okay. Uh it was the 2nd. >> I March 2nd. >> Yeah, that's when we left. We already had our stuff already packed up on the first to go to Florida for our honeymoon. So on the second, we had me, Bren, and my wife went to Florida. We stopped at Jacksonville, but it was too far of a drive. We were all getting tired. So we stayed at Jacksonville for two days at the hotel. From there I was like, "See, you want to go? You've been you've been begging me to see your sister for months now. We're in Florida. Let's go. Let's go see your sister." And we finish our honeymoon here. And that's when you guys started calling me. And that's that's when you called me that day. >> You told me you're in Arizona. Yeah, but I was born in Arizona. >> Why? Why did you tell me you were in Arizona? >> Cuz I just Cuz my mom told me. She's like, "Just ignore everybody. Just ignore Facebook. Just go and have fun with your your wife. Have fun with your on your honeymoon. Ignore everybody. Just tell them where you're at. Just tell them somewhere where you're at." So I said, "Okay, I made up in Arizona so everybody would leave me alone." We were We were in Florida the whole time. And then we came back because her sister got evicted. So then we had nowhere to go. So I'm like, "Shit." So back towards Michigan we go. That's when I I had we were going to come talk to you, me and Nina. But plans changed. Brian's like, "Look, I have a girlfriend in Shelby, Ohio. She's got a They got some bandos. I don't know if you know what bando are. It's banded uh like buildings, abandoned uh apartments. But this old lady, I guess, these were three lies that he gave me. One, four, one. He had some abandoned apartments that this old lady died and left all his money and all the lights on and power, everything was good. Me and her be set up and we could stay in there for a little while. while he's crossed the street with his girlfriend. Okay, that's cool. That's the first line. Second line is like, well, there's no cops going to be around here. They don't mess around here for 30 to 45 minutes. It's another lie. Oh, my girlfriend, she's got her own place, which is another lie because we dropped him off at the gas station to use the bathroom. I [clears throat] said, "Babe, it's been like 30 minutes. Doesn't take me that long to take a [ __ ] So he go she goes in there. Nothing. I go in. Hey, I say boss. Uh, have you seen a younger guy about 20 years old with a bushy red beard? Nobody. This little [ __ ] So I'm like, he trying to set us up. like why would he why would he try to set us up? Get in the truck and we we we leave. Right while we're leaving, three squad cars come up in the gas station, but we we're leaving. So we arena's like, "Well, I have a cousin in North Carolina." [clears throat] So, oh my god, I just left North Carolina. I thought, "All right, [ __ ] it. Let's go to North Carolina. spend some time with her till this [ __ ] dies down something. >> So, we go and stay out in the country with her cousin. Me and her cousin. >> Remember where you stayed? >> Huh? >> Do you remember where you stayed? >> Mhm. >> Where? [clears throat] >> We uh were at uh 850 Bethl Road. >> Okay. Is that in East Arcadia? >> That's in uh K C U R I E Michigan. >> Michigan. >> I mean uh North Carolina. >> Okay. Yeah. And so, um, he she started mooching off us way too much. Said that you guys could stay here, she could get some money and get a place, blah, blah, blah. >> How was she mooching off you? >> Cuz she said that we could keep our money. But then once she found out we had our money, she's like, "Oh, cuz we were going to throw our 100 bucks just to help her out." Then she's like, "100 bucks? What's this going to do? I can I get at least 300?" I was like, "That's kind of steep. That's going to leave us in the bind." And I said, "Okay, we'll meet her in the middle, baby." She said, "Okay." I said, "I'll [clears throat] give her 200." So, we gave her 200 bucks. Then she tried to give more. So, we waited and went and got arrived and then went back to her house, got all of our stuff and went back to her cousin's house where they got us at, 4938 Redart. And we stayed there for we maybe there for like maybe 4 days, 5 days. So I guess they pained my phone or something. They said that I heard one officer talking that they they pained my phone. >> So >> So you know Kayla Saski? >> That's my ex-girlfriend. We me and her have had passed for years and >> tell me everything. Tell me about her. [clears throat] >> I mean I miss that girl, but she's just she was a handful. She was like me and her we always argued all the time. >> How about what? just just anything like she'd get jealous if I'm talking to somebody. Like if I'm talking to a cousin that's a female, she would think I'm cheating on her and then she would threaten me like she's going to kill me. She pulled a gun out on me and Brian about a few months ago, but then we found out it was fake. She said it was fake. >> By Brian, you mean Bren? >> Yeah, Bren. >> Bren Smith. Okay. >> Okay. Was she easy to go on with or no? >> Some days she would, some days she wouldn't. >> How long did you date her? >> It was off and on. So, >> so for how long? >> I mean, she was like she Well, she was always my queen bee. She was always and all the girls friends that I had, she they already knew that um that was my queen bee. >> So, you really you really loved her? >> Yeah, I really did. I really I still do. and and Narina even knows that she would always get mad and jealous about it, but I mean she was she was homeless. She had really nowhere to go. So when I was with uh when I was with Jessica, she was with us. When I was with Sarah, she was with us. When I was with uh well, my wife, she was with us. And every girl I had with I always make room for her where she could sleep. I made a little little bed thing for her on the side, but our bed or or she would sleep out in the living room sometimes. But I did everything for her. Everything I could do for her, I did everything for her. >> What was the best thing about Kayla, her personality, how she she scared me and I told her that one I said, "Ain't no female ever scared me but you." She said, "What's that supposed to mean?" I said, "I opened up to you way more than I've opened up to anybody else. We have a past. I brought you back to Michigan when you were younger." And she's like, "I know." And got her out [clears throat] of a terrible relationship with some ex-boyfriend she had named Dakota. I don't know her last name. >> So, best thing about her was her personality. her personality and and how we we would laugh and we'd go to uh what's that what's that bar that's over on the Corey called? >> Over at where? >> Over on the Corey. >> Oh, uh the that new uh restaurant uh they the Cory's bar or something. We used to go there and we do the karaoke. I got videos. I was just looking at the video just the other night and and uh [clears throat] I had tears running down my face. And >> what's the worst part? What was the worst part about Kayla? >> Well, she would get like really aggressive and then like she would snap and then when she would snap, she would like she just start threatening people and and threatening other people and it's like ready to just calm down and everything's going to be all right, you know. >> Okay. >> She promised me she'd get back on her meds and she never did. >> She struggled with mental illness. >> Yeah. >> What what specifically? Bipolar? >> I think so. [snorts] So, um, were you upset with her specifically about say, uh, did you blame her for going to prison or anything like that? >> No, cuz that you want to know the funny thing about that? >> Mhm. >> Put me in prison for a year. >> Mhm. >> Said that um I choked her and I slammed her against the wall and the lawyer even said this was funny too that anybody that's getting choked on an attempted murder, whatever. No, they called it great violent harm was murder. That's what they try to charge you with. Now, if you're choking somebody, you're going to try to go for your hands, right? To get them off. And she lied to the court and said that she kicked me in the nuts or in the groins, which is [ __ ] Then she bit my hands. No marks on my hands. She lied because I was messing with her uh sister at the time. >> No. Uh this other girl, she I claims her sister um Christina. But uh so they come, they get me, I go downtown, I cooperate, put me in jail, answer all my questions. Then I go and I get Ronald Roose, my lawyer. So I do the year. They they put me in this it's a prison, but not a prison. and uh Mount Clemens and uh Mount Clemens. Yeah, Mount Clemens. And uh it was a domestic violence program that once you complete these classes, they'll let you out and then you can fight your case. So, I completed the class. I got out. We had no contact, but she contacted me. I didn't say nothing. She tried contacting me while I was in there, but if I contact her back on JPEG, then that would be a violation. I go straight to prison. All rights were done. So, that was hard for me not to do. So, I didn't do it. I just kind of blocked her on my machine. And I get out, she comes to me, she came to me and said, "While I was at work at Mushimi's overall street, her and her husband at the time showed up in the great pickup truck, I bought him a pizza, got him both some drinks. I said, "Uh, yeah, we can talk." >> And no, uh, Billy. Billy. Yeah. his her wife and uh his wife. So I said, "Okay." So I get him some both some drinks and some pizza and some bread. So I said, "I got a couple hours till I get off work. You guys going to hang out until I get done or whatever." So they hung out till I got off work. She wanted to talk to me. She's like, "Look, I feel bad for what I did. I want to drop the charges right then." I was like, "Wait, what? She gave me the paperwork of how how to dismiss the charges. I felt so good. So I went in there and got her another pizza and bread and some 2 L here. This is on me how they work. >> So >> So you don't really You didn't blame her for putting you in prison? >> No, because the lawyer after they dropped the charges said, "You know, we can put her under prison now, right?" >> I said, "I'm a better person." These were my exact words. I want the [ __ ] to be dead. I want it I want it gone. >> And you love her. >> And I love her. >> Okay. >> And I I don't I would >> Well, let me ask you this. Do you know why we want to talk to you today? >> Yeah. What? >> Cuz cuz of what Caitlyn did to her. >> Okay. So, um I'm going to ask you straight up. Are were you involved in the planning and execution of her murder? >> No, I was not. >> Okay. >> I have proof. I have witnesses. I have evidence. >> What is your evidence? >> It's all on the phone. And I was Is it the video? Yes. My >> Well, I've seen the video. >> Okay. Well, you don't know how it went down, though. >> Tell me how it went down. >> Me and my wife were in in Jacksonville, Florida in the hotel. Bren was talking to her, you know, you know, cuz she's always chippery. She was at the apartment at the time while we were going. She was all chipper, you know, just like really happy. Then when Brian was talking to her on the phone, she wasn't acting right. She was really like skittish, you know, like moving, you know, like back and forth. Skittish is what he's explaining to me. >> Mhm. >> And then Bren's like, "What's what's going on?" And then she's like confessed everything, word for word. I'm talking about everything. And I'm sitting like, "Oh, hell no." Who's reporting? That's what I'm getting to. I'm like, "Hell no." I said, "No, we have to get this on video, bro. we have to. So I said, "Baby, let me get your phone." And so Narina got the phone and gave it to us. We took my phone. He called her back on my phone. While they're talking, um Brian took the my wife's phone and got a recording and put it next to my phone. She was he was asking her questions. I said, "Well, I don't know if this is legal or not, but we have to do this." But she got he got everything all four of the videos, everything out of her. And I was like, "Oh, hell no." >> Why were there four videos and not just one, right? One video. >> Because uh cuz there's certain amount of time that you can do on your phone and then it cuts off. >> Okay. >> So, I had to keep on we had to keep doing it like to get everything out of her. And then he she was so naive like she would she would actually repeat it and then Brian would be like you you did what? And then she that's and then that last one was icing on the cake when she said she did 16 others for her dad. >> Okay. >> Well, I just talked to Emily yesterday and she's like, "Man, she I don't know if she was hacked or not because that it didn't sound like at the time, but she's like, "Oh, she didn't do nothing. She's all talk. She has never did nothing for her dad and all this. Well, she's smiling happy that she did hits for her dad in the past. Sure. >> And she's like, "Oh, I did 16." >> So, it wasn't my first. I'm like, "Wait, what?" >> So, you were not involved in the planning and execution of of Kayla's death? >> No, I was not. >> Was Bin involved? >> He was with me at the time. I the only time he wasn't with me. When was he? >> No. Bren came down. Yeah, cuz he played with us. >> And when you say he was with me at the time. At what time? >> When we were going on our honeymoons and when we went to South Carolina. >> Okay. So, no. >> So, what does that have to do with when she was killed? >> I'm not sure. I don't know. >> Well, you brought it up, so I'm just curious. You said he was with me at the time. What do you mean? >> Oh, like when I was going down to South Carolina and Florida's death, though. >> Oh, I don't know anything about that. >> Okay. So, when was the last was um your wife involved in any way? >> My wife was not involved in anything. Me and her, we stayed we stayed together like ever since we got married. So, not left. This is the first time we've been apart. >> Okay. So, Kayn was involved. >> Well, she admitted it. So, she had to have been. She said she was with a friend. >> If I can remember, hold on. She said she was with a friend in one of the videos. >> She didn't say who. She said, "I won't give up that name." She was with a friend. What did she say? >> I got it all on video, but >> I've seen the videos. >> Okay. She said she was with a friend. They came and picked her up in in a in a in a truck or a van or something. A van. I think it was a van. >> Was Sierra involved in any way? >> No. >> Was Alex Feco involved in any way? >> I don't know. You don't know? >> Okay. When was the last time you saw Kayla? >> Kayla? The last time I saw her was when alive. It was the first time I seen last time I seen her was we were at I was at church on Sunday at house restoration and officer came to me and said can you come out here? I cooperated. He said I really appreciate you cooperating with me. Um is it okay if uh I can get your time? Pastor came out and said you guys really have to do this. Yes. into PPO or so. >> So So her and Lorie, >> what was this? >> This I can't remember like a month or two before she passed. >> Okay. >> So >> that was the last time I saw her was when she restoration, >> right? And since she was there first, the officer said that I would have to leave. But Kayla said, "Can you know?" >> So you saw her there and then you So who called the police? Did she call the police? >> Uh her and Lorie, they they they said that uh he's here. So they brought him there and they served me in my PO and since uh she agreed to leave, I got to stay for the service. >> Okay. All right. So, have you ever been to the old Boy'sville facility? >> One time. >> When was that? >> That was many, many, many years ago when it was open. Um, my sister was there. >> Okay. >> Her name is uh Jada. They call her Jada Davis. >> Okay. >> I did some crazy [ __ ] and I don't want to put that on record. >> Okay. And so, but that was like how many years ago? >> That had been like 20 years ago. >> 20 years ago. Okay. So, um, and you mentioned that you left for your wedding on in the afternoon of February 15th. Is that correct? >> Say that again. >> So, you left for not your wedding. I'm sorry. You left for Myrtle Beach the afternoon of February 15th. >> Right. Around that around that noonish time. >> Okay. And you got married when? >> The 14th. >> So, the night before. >> Yes. >> So, you got married night before? >> Valentine's Day. >> Valentine's Day. The afternoon sometime in the afternoon on the 15th you left. >> Yes. Are you you absolutely positive about that? There's no question about that. >> Yes. Cuz I took Chevy down there. I keep going. Heather took Heather down there to go see your boyfriend. >> Okay. So, would it if uh would it surprise you to know that we have a video of you on the 16th at the Circle K at 1:30 in the morning? >> 16th. >> So, not the 15th, the 16th at 1:30 in the morning. Would that surprise you if we told you that? >> In the morning. So you you said you left on the 15th 16th at 1 1:30 in the morning. We have you, Nina, and Kaitlin on video at the 15th cuz I know we went to Cro to get some some snacks and stuff for the road trip. >> Guaranteed on the 16th. >> Okay. that it must it must have been a 16th. I apologize for that. >> It's okay. >> So, I know I know we did go through okay to get snacks and goodies and stuff off our EVT cards and filled up our >> Who's EVT, Kirk? >> Um me and my wife. >> Okay. >> And we filled up all of our snacks and our goodies and stuff and our uh big ass cooler. Okay. >> For our road trip. So, yeah, that's correct. You're correct on that. So, >> so you left on the 16th. I was 16. >> Okay. Is And there is there a reason you chose that day or or >> No, just we just we were She wanted to leave. >> Who's she? >> Uh Chevy. >> Heaven. >> Yeah. And she kept on begging me, "Let's go. Let's go. Let's go." But I had to wait to give some money. So then once we got some money, then we went down here. >> Okay. A lot of people accusing you of this uh homicide on Facebook. >> A lot of people. It's It's crazy. >> A lot of people. So, [clears throat] and just out of curiosity >> because of our past, me and >> Yeah, that's understandable. Just out of curiosity, you have the evidence. >> That was you that told me I don't care about that Facebook mumble jumble. >> I'm the one who told you that. >> Okay. Yeah. And my wife, my mom's like, >> "Listen to Peterson and just ignore shit." So, I started blocking everybody. I took Facebook down. >> There's nothing there's nothing good about Facebook, right? >> I call it drama book, >> right? So, >> my wife to get rid of all >> is there any reason and I I just want to understand your perspective. So, you have I told you I wanted to talk to you to get your side of the story. >> Yes, sir. >> Right. You and you told me you're in Arizona, which there's no need to lie to me about that, right? I'm not harassing you. Right. So, here >> I understand. But >> I know. So, is there any reason you have So, everyone's accusing you on Facebook. All the Facebook detectives have this all figured out, right? So, they're all accusing you on Facebook. You have this evidence. Is there any reason you didn't call Detective Mike Peterson and say, "I can clear my name right now." >> I didn't even think about you. I went straight to Fox News. >> You went straight to Fox News >> when I should have went. >> Why didn't you go or why didn't you go to West Palm Beach police? Or why didn't you go to any police? >> I was scared. I've been locked up my whole life. >> Okay. But but my point is this. I just want to understand your perspective. I really do. >> If you're scared, I get it, right? honey. >> On your honeymoon, got the Facebook detective. They've got all this figured out before I do. Right. [clears throat] >> Um, this is easy. You just go to the police and say, "Here's the evidence." Right. >> Right. >> So, any reason you didn't? >> No. >> My cousin, my mom, she told me just leave everything alone. Just have your honeymoon and then come back and figure that out then. >> So, but your but that was that was two months ago or a month ago, right? Okay. So, um, tell me about spray painting your car. >> That was Bren's doing. >> So, tell me about it. >> There's a long story. My wife is so affectionate of my old car. We call her Lexi. I had a 2020 21 Honda Civic and it was the same color blue that Brian did with my truck. And she's like, so he's like, uh, let's spray paint the truck blue. I can't afford it. But he said, we went we went to Walmart. So we went and grabbed about five or six cans of spray paints and I'm upstairs with my wife and her sister and husband. So I'm sitting up there said, "Don't come down until it's done. [clears throat] I got a surprise for you." Okay. >> Cuz her old car was that color, >> huh? >> Cuz her old car was Lexi was that color? Yeah, it was blue. My old car that [clears throat] got damaged from my other cousin Joy Ryan in Westland. T-boned it. Yeah, that's the [clears throat] car I first met in arena in almost 7 years ago. And she loved that car. I miss that car, too. Anyways, he's like, "So, he got it done and I come out and I'm like, "Oh my god, my my wife, she was going nuts. She she would not she would not leave the car for nothing. She was just that." So, what she did what he did, I loved it because he put a biggest smile on my wife's face and that just made my day. >> Okay. Um just out of curiosity and again Facebook detectives have this all figured out right um any reason why you are at Cheyenne's place yesterday. The police show up. Why are you hiding in there? >> We were in our bedroom. >> Right. Why are you hiding? because I I woke up to a bunch of sirens and and announcements and I'm freaking [clears throat] out and I tell my wife I said, "What do you want to do? You want to just wait this out?" >> What were you waiting out? Cuz you're not involved in the homicide. You said, "I don't understand. What are you waiting?" >> The police were saying 4938 come out. Steven Bales and Narina Bales, come out now. And I'm sitting there freaking out like, "Wait, what is is this bullshit?" >> So, and again, I just wanted cuz you called your mom and whispered, "Mom, the police are here." >> Yeah. [clears throat] >> Why? And again, if the police show up in my driveway, right? We'll say the FBI shows up in my driveway, do you think I'm a going to go cuz if I I'm not going to do commit a crime or do anything like that, right? Say so if I I know I have not committed a federal crime, am I going to a go out and say, "Hey guys, what's going on?" Or b close my bedroom door, pull my wife and call my mom and say, "Wow, the police are here. The FBI here." Is [laughter] does that seem rational to do that? And I guess I'm trying to understand from your perspective why you're hiding in a bedroom. The police say, "Hey, come on out." >> Detective Kevin called me. The negotiator called me. Well, >> call me. And I'm saying like, "Okay, it's another hack. Turn my phone back on." >> Right. >> Then they call my wife. It's okay. This shit's real then. >> Yeah. >> So my wife's like, "What do I do?" I said, "What do you want to do? You want to just give up or you just want to wait the [ __ ] out?" She's like, >> she just kept telling me, "Wait it out. Wait it out. Wait it out." Then when they hit us with the tear gas, we waited out. I remember how to get through this [ __ ] cuz when I was in prison with wet towel, my first instinct was to my wife is put this wet towel over your face. [clears throat] I'll just use >> You're protecting her. >> Yes. >> Cuz she's pregnant, >> right? >> And uh so I I put uh sweatpants over my face and we get up out of the the bathroom and go into the bedroom. So, we're in the bedroom and my wife, she's all freaking out. I said, "Babe, you need to calm down. Can't stress. Can't lose another kid." And uh so we're talking to Kevin. He's like, "Look, we just want you guys to come out." That's when I told him, I said, "Well, give me 5 minutes. I'll come out. If you can't give me 5 minutes, then you're just going to have to do what you got to do. Kill me." >> Okay? >> Cuz I was at that time like I didn't care. I did not want to go back to prison innocent again. >> Sure. >> And had the same girl put me back in prison for the same [ __ ] you know? >> Sure. >> And I was like, and I said, I said, you know what? Let me call mama cuz I do everything what my mom tells me. She's like my best friend. She's always been there for me. >> Sure. >> My wife, she just kept telling me just wait it out. Wait out. >> I said, "Well, I got to call my mom." That's when I called my mother. I hung up on him, Kevin, cuz he would not stop. Yeah. Thank you. I did it. I said, "Okay, look. It's it's uh [clears throat] it's 2:18. Give me 5 minutes. At 2:33, we'll be coming out." And he want to keep talking talking. I said, "Look, if you don't give me 5 minutes, don't worry about it." And I hung up. Click. So, he stopped calling me. I called my mom. I said, "Mom, the police are here. I don't know what's going on. I hear a bunch of every a lot of chaos." Uh, at first I didn't know if it was it was [ __ ] you know, because they've been harassing us on Facebook and everything, but this is real, mama. I don't know what to do. And she's like, "Please don't fight him. They're a kid. Please don't fight him." I said, "All right, mama. I won't." Then snatched the phone on my hand. And that's when she got on the phone. My mom was crying and yelling and screaming, "Please don't let him fight him. Please don't let him fight him." >> Okay. You're going through a lot right now. >> Yeah, cuz they won't let me call my wife. >> They're going through a lot. You're going through a lot. You've gone through a lot this whole past couple months. I know. So, here's the deal. Okay. Now, I'm going to be straight with you. Okay. [sighs] You I met you before. >> When was this? You you want to report uh your bustle as your that he was trying to kill his wife. >> Oh yeah, >> that was you and me. Yeah. >> Remember that? >> Yep. >> I treated you well. Right. Right. >> So here's the deal. And I told you though when we started I know everything about you. >> Okay. >> Okay. So before I get to that, I want to ask you this. What were you So you we we corrected the fact that you didn't leave on the 15th. >> You left on the 16th. [clears throat] So, so to just give you a frame of reference, the 14th was your wedding. >> Fun night. I've seen pictures. Looks like you guys had a a goofy wedding with, you know, all the green and everything else, right? Um, Grim and Lady Death, everything, right? >> So, [clears throat] um, so that that's a frame of reference for you cuz I can tell you that all about the day after my wedding, right? Because it's these are exciting times. What did you do on the evening of the 15th? 15. We uh we did we were getting all of our stuff together for my beach. Um, I went and got a bunch of food and stuff for Cody and everybody there. So, I was like making sure the house was in order before we left. >> Um, well, you were, let me kind of remind you. Like I said, you were to move forward a little bit at 1:30. So weird you saying the 16th because on my picture it says we're in murder breach between the 15th to the 17th. >> It's guaranteed. >> And I have that on on my phone. >> It's guaranteed, sir. That's not even what's on CC's Facebook those times and dates. >> What was it? >> It was like the 17th 18th you were there. So, so again to give you another frame of reference on the 16th in the morning about 1:27, you Narina and Kayyn are at the Circle K. What were you doing before then? >> At the house getting all my stuff together for the trip. >> What? And just I curious what made you just so I understand at 1:30 in the morning. Let's go to Circle K. What made >> Oh, that's an everyday thing. That's everyday thing. You can ask my daughter. They're they're all high on they all smoke their weed and >> they all they need their munchies. >> British car just hit. Let's go to Circle Bay. >> Okay. So, remember when we started talking, right? >> Yeah. >> I told you I know everything about you, Steve. >> I know everything about I know more about your wife and your Brin and yourself probably than you do. So, and I'm going to ask you straight up. Is there any reason or I should say would it surprise you to know that we have a Facebook conversation between you and Brenn at [clears throat] Boyy'sville that night? >> No. You don't. >> I guarantee we do. >> Well, this is where I need my lawyer then. >> Okay. Sounds good. Cuz >> because I know that's a lie. >> Oh, it's a guarantee. You You'll see that it's not a lie. The only thing that's been a lie is what you've been telling me since we sat down. Understand? We've talked to >> everything I just said was a lie. >> Okay. I need a lawyer then. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Cuz I just told you everything by play by play what happened. >> Okay. Um, just know this. The fellowship you have is broken up. [clears throat] Everyone's talking, including your wife. We spoke in an arena. We know everything. And I mean everything. So, it's up to you if you want to talk. You said you want to talk to your lawyer. I'll let you have your lawyer. But this will not help you. Okay. Any questions for me? >> No, sir. >> Okay.
