So if he did leave the country, you said you would have killed him, right? >> Yeah. >> So if you can kill him and have no no doubts about it, >> what makes me believe that you would do the same thing if you felt that you were going to lose her? On April 16th, 2022 in Orville, Washington, Roy Parker Rasmmanson was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Siri Karina Zosul, who had died as a result of a shooting. Her body was found inside a home on Westlake Road. You >> even said that with her enzyme, liver enzymes, you were basically well >> taking care of it yourself. >> Well, she was going to die. >> Yeah. And so you shot her. >> No. Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> So, tell me why we're here. >> Well, I shot my girlfriend. Can Can you tell me about that? Well, we were having a fight and uh everything was really going well between us and like she's 46 and she's like really hot in bed and I just I like could barely do it but I like to do it with her and uh So her parents flew in to the Orville airport and they said, "Welcome to the family to me." And she's got this, she had this guy, this guy that was hanging around. His name was Colin, but he's left the country for his good good sake. And uh so we had a falling out obviously cuz I shot her, right? >> Mhm. >> When did you shoot her? >> It was a couple days ago. >> And where's the gun at? >> I don't know. >> Is it still in the house? >> Yeah, I guess. What kind of gun was it? It's >> a Glock uh 45. >> She was >> Was it your gun or was it >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And what was the argument about that led up to the shooting? >> Well, she wanted me to. Her family likes me and they want I don't know. and we were like a married couple, but her family is talking about like having all these uh people there and so that wasn't going to be convenient for me to stay there all the time, but we were not broken up. >> And how long were you guys dating? We've been living together uh for two months and before that we knew each other for like I met her like four years ago. >> And where did you meet her? >> The hospital where I work and her mom her mom was there. and her mom, her grandma, sorry, Ellen was also. >> And what was the what led up to the argument? What were you guys arguing about before you shot her? Well, it was just that I didn't uh I really didn't care to be placed in a [sighs] um second chair >> and and that was because of the family and like we were talking about like >> Yes. that they were talking about potentially not you being able to stay at the house that much. >> Yeah. I mean, like we were like Siri and I were like totally like our first kiss was co. We smoked a little pot that night. I remember it. She was sick with CO and she was like just right into my lungs like that. But we've known each other for a long time. And she would say the same thing to you. We've known each other for four years and we've worked together at the hospital for oh like more than a year. And uh one night I just uh asked her to come to you know come to dinner with me. This was back in December. We were just hot [clears throat] for each other and like it's really hard for me, you know. Well, >> where was she going when you shot her? >> Uh, down the hallway. >> Okay. Was she trying to get out of the house? Nope. >> Okay. >> Where did you shoot her at? >> Right in the hallway. >> You mean but whereabouts in her body? >> I just put one around my 45 into her back. She just like gurgled for a second. [snorts] Gurgle gurgled like that and she was dead. >> And why didn't you call? [sighs] >> No. that I can't answer. >> Have you guys ever been in a an argument or a fight that's been physical before this? >> No. No. It was all sexual between us. She was really hot and she would just like get down underneath me and uh you know just doing the sex thing but with her was the best ever. Do >> you have any remorse killer? Yes. Why did it lead to so much why you had to shoot her? Why why didn't you try to walk away or why didn't you, you know, push her down? But why did you go right to shooting her? And you guys never been in a fight before? >> Never. >> And then why did you shoot her? because it was like about the their parents flew me in with their airplane. It's like a Cessna Turbo 177 kilo Lima Cessna. that gay man and everything I thought was good cuz I was ready to give up everything for her. Everything, but we're not broken up. Well, we're we are now, I guess. >> So, when you were arguing, where was your gun at initially? Where did you keep your gun? >> It was in the side over there on her side of the bed. >> So, you went and grabbed the gun from her side of the bed. >> Yep. >> And she was walk you. Where's the bedroom at compared to where she's at now? Well, the bedroom is over here, this side, and so there's a long hallway going there. And so I just popped her right there in the hallway. >> And you went and got got the gun. And how when you got the gun, where was she at? >> She was walking away. >> From the bedroom or from >> From the bedroom. >> Okay. And she just walked away from you and then you went and grabbed the gun. Is that right? >> Yes. >> And then when you grabbed the gun, did you say anything to her? >> I didn't say a word. I just shot her. >> Okay. And how many times did you shoot? >> Just once. >> Just once. >> It's all text. >> Have you planned thought about this before? >> No. >> Okay. No sir. >> How long have you owned that gun? >> Since I got it from Miss Cam over here. >> Okay. From Riverside Gun and Pond. >> Yes, I bought it there. >> Okay. And then I'm just trying I'm trying to think about this. So this was on a Friday, do you think? Or was it on a Thursday? Do you know? >> Today's Today's Saturday. >> It was I shot her like 2 days ago. >> But what time was it in the evening morning? I can't remember because I did well they I was in the hospital and they just released me from the hospital and they just were not uh according to Siri I was not ready to be released from the hospital. >> What were you in the hospital for? well, for a kidney stone. And they gave me a bunch of pain medication and uh obviously alcohol intoxication. And so when I left the hospital, I just like was shaking really bad. And um so it's a mid valley here where I went to hospital and right after I got out of there, I shot her that same day. >> Yes. Um, so can you walk me through that that day as best as you remember from start to finish where we're going to if it was two days ago, let's say it's Thursday, but cuz today's Saturday, but if you can just walk me through that day. >> Well, I just I was like heavily medicated from the hospital. They gave me all kinds. They gave me morphine and they gave me what? They Well, they gave me Toronto, which didn't work. They dumped a bunch of fluids in me. >> How'd you get to the hospital? >> Well, my friends took me there. >> Okay. Siri didn't take it. >> Yeah, she came there to see me. >> Do you know Do you know about what time it was that you got to the hospital? >> I don't know what time I got there. >> Okay. But I know that when I came out of there, I was not normal. I would have never done this. Never. Never. >> What do you mean by not normal? Just that you would never do this or tell me about that. >> Well, no. I would never kill Well, I would never kill anybody. Do you think that where where do you live? Let me back up a little bit. If you weren't living with Sierra, where would you be living at? >> It's Siri. >> Siri, I'm sorry. I apologize. Siri? >> Yeah, I've got my own place out here. >> Where's that at? >> Okonogan. >> And what's the address? >> 246 Spring Cooling. >> Okay. And if they kicked you out of the house, you would be able to have a place to live. >> Well, sure. It was not the point. Okay. >> That was not the point. I had I had my own place. I was happy living there for years. >> So you when you got back to the house, tell me what it was when you got back to the house. What happened in county? We talked about you got a lot of fluids and some medication at the hospital. >> Yeah. >> How did you get back to the house? Did friends give you a ride? >> I can't even remember that was that bad. >> And that bad because of pain and medication or >> medication maybe Siri got me. I don't know. Maybe Steve Kelly got me. I don't know. Maybe um Sally Jackson took me. I don't know. >> And then when you got How long do you think you were home until you shot her? >> Uh like four or five hours. >> Do you remember if your gun was loaded in one? I always lose a Glock. >> Is it one in the chamber all the time? >> Yes, of course. >> Okay. >> You pull it out and shoot it. >> So, what happened when you got home? >> Well, I can't remember cuz [clears throat] I was heavily medicated, so I can't remember everything. >> Okay. I can't even tell you who got me there. >> Sure. >> But what what do you remember? >> I remember just like having [clears throat] She said that, well, we're not broken up like that. And she said her parents were flying in with their aircraft again. And their parents lied to me. And I thought we were good and they said, "Welcome to the family." That's what they said to me. That was some serious mom. Told me to welcome welcome to the family. And so it was all a big shock to me to hear that she wanted me to like go from here over to um my place, [clears throat] which is okay. If I don't have off grid, I don't have any running water for somebody my age. That's not too good. Can I have a sandwich, please? >> It's on its way. >> So, uh, she was the greatest love of my life. I have never met anybody like her ever. And the first time I saw her was like four years ago. She was like wearing this blue dress. I was taking care of her grandma, Ellen, before she died, the hospital at Darth Valley. And then uh then she came into the emergency room where I I'm an emergency room nurse. You wouldn't believe it. But I am there. And so Siri was she came in for chest pain. She had like this white top on and I just put an IV in her, you know, and gave her a good talking tube about her liver enzymes. When she left, took the IV out, I was charged nurse that day. I got to pull all those stickers off and lift up her shirt. do that and it turned her on too. And then about a year later, she showed up at the hospital and uh I saw her in the in the break room as we were like giving report and taking report. I went I just pagged her in the back and I just went like that to her on her back. Her whole face flushed and like her chest flushed and she was like telling me about it later about what that was like. [sighs] So we work together and she drank herself out of a job. She drinks heavy alcohol, heavy. She drinks before she goes to work as a nurse. She would always be having me pour drinks for her and especially before she went to work, she would like have like a lot of a lot of vodka before she went to work. So nurse, how do you imagine that? And so I was like taking care of her all through she was sick with CO and so I was there for her when she really needed me. She was deathly ill. I went to a couple appointments with to her doctor with her. Cara Bergs. I was there. So, let me let me ask you this. With the family showing up and it sounded like possibly that you were going to be out of the house for a while, >> do do you feel that maybe that you did this because you were being rejected by her? >> Yeah. Not not exactly. Not because she's she's just like that. She's like raised in Norway. She's like continental. She grew up flying airplanes, you know, all over Earth. >> Do you think if you couldn't have her, nobody else should have her? Well, this Colin guy I told you about, didn't I? >> Colin Graham. >> You mentioned Colin, but you didn't tell us about him. >> Colin Graham has like the Aussie antique store. It's what started this. >> Tell us about that. Well, you know, basically he said, I just saw a bing bing on her phone like that and he [clears throat] said, "If you wear that perfume, I will not be in control of myself." It's [snorts] like the text he sent to her. And I confronted her about this because it was like you just you just I'm an army guy. You just don't do this to an army guy. So basically I told him that well I told him that he needed to leave the country which he did. that I kill him and I could do it obviously. So he took an airplane and he got the [ __ ] out of here, which was a great idea. Great idea for him. >> Did you you told him that you would kill him? >> I told Siri that I was going to kill him. She got the word to him and he just got airplane and left which was good. >> How long ago was it? >> Eight days ago when this all started. >> Okay. >> Or nine days. 10 days ago now probably cuz she's been dead for two days. >> Okay. So that's what started it and it just went down from there. He left which was good because I definitely would have killed him for sure. But I'd asked Siri to marry me and I just Colin was like her friend. >> What did she say when you asked her to marry her? >> She said yes. >> And how long ago was that? >> Uh three months ago. Then she just drank so much alcohol she figured, well, I didn't really say that. But she was wearing a a ring from me that I I just bought for her wedding ring. They're like a engagement ring sort of thing. I I you know what I think I mean and if I offend you I apologize right off but I think you planned this before when this whole thing with Yeah. with Colin happened that you were going to kill her. Is that if she would would have if she would have hooked up with him and left him. Do you think you would have killed her? They were only friends and she had been completely without a man for 23 years. I was the first man to kind of like be with her. She had Colin was only a friend. >> Okay. Again, if you didn't have her, do you think anybody else deserved her? >> Of course. Okay. >> She could do what she wants, right? I mean, I just I didn't >> I didn't This didn't just like I didn't like go looking for her. She looked for me and um we both we both spotted each other, you know, and at work and everything. She could know Colin was only a friend. >> Okay. >> Why were you so upset then if he was just a friend? >> Because he sent that text >> which I said which was like if you he bought all these Porsches and he's got all this money. you buy us cars and stuff and and all these Mercedes and stuff, you know, try to impress her and uh I can't do that. I don't have the means. So, he basically [ __ ] everything up. And I told her that >> I'm really getting hungry. Can I please >> let me look at me anything? >> Yep. We're getting it. >> Just anything. >> No, I think we're we'll see if it's here. >> Just anything to eat would be great. I have to eat a lot. I'm skinny. >> Yeah. Oh. Oh, thank you. Oh, thank you. >> Thank you so much. No problem. So, I guess maybe you should just ask me questions. I'll answer them. Well, we've been kind of doing that. My main question is is when before you shot her, I need to know what was going in your mind. Why you >> I >> why you went and got the gun? >> I was just released from the hospital. >> Those are jalapenos, just so you know. I don't know if you like spicy food. I figured I'd warn you. I see it on the bag there. Let's ask this. Are you wearing the same clothes that you were wearing when you shot her? >> No. No. >> What were you wearing when you shot her? >> Uh, >> maybe nothing. I don't know. >> You don't know? And And you don't know where the gun's at in the house? You can't remember where you put the gun? >> I just shot it or dropped it. >> Right there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Did she say anything to you after you shot her? I know. She just went gle. And then what did you do after you shot her? >> I just walked away. >> And then what'd you do for the next day and a half or two days? >> Well, she started to stink. So what'd you do? >> Obviously nothing. She just laid there. >> Yeah. So but what did you do? Just what did you do in the house? Where did you go? What did you do while she laid there stinking? I just drag. >> How much did you drink? >> Well, it's kind of hard to say. >> Did you leave the house at all? >> Yeah, I drove to the store and got some liquor. >> Where did you go to? What store? >> Frontier. And do you remember how long that was afterwards? >> After I shot her? >> Mhm. >> It was the same day. >> The same day. What did you drive there? I drove the Mercedes. >> That's your car? >> Yeah. >> Okay. The silver one, right? >> Yep. >> And then what did you buy there at Frontier besides, you know, remember what type of alcohol? >> Yes, it was Titos. That was her drink. >> And what kind of drink is that? >> Vodka. Sorry, I don't drink. So, >> I never did. I only started drinking. [sighs] Month ago. >> A month ago. >> Yep. >> On a normal day, how much do you drink? >> Well, nothing but I don't know like a probably half of a half of a like not that big bottle like she goes She drinks one of those big half gallons. She goes through it every two days, including before she goes to work. >> Ask me where does she work at? I know she's a she's a nurse, right? >> Yep. >> Where does she work? >> Well, at the hospital in Nebraska. And what does she where did what where at the hospital does she work? I mean, is she on the floor the or is she the ER? We met in the ER cuz that's what I do. >> Mhm. >> And she drank herself out of a job. >> When did she get What? Tell me about that. It happened like a month ago, I guess, when one of the ladies at uh one of our managers gave her a hug when she came in and she was being completely irresponsible on the job. So they let her go from that because of her drinking. Really? >> Did well did they did they find out that she was drunk or what was the reasoning? >> Well, they could spell it on her. M >> if you don't drink, you can really smell alcohol on somebody else. >> Yeah, sure. >> So that was the reason they fired her is cuz they smelled it. >> Yeah, they kept her. >> Did they try to give her any treatment or any options to get help? >> No, they just sent her to another area. So, her liver enzymes are off the chart. She was going to die anyway. I guess in some way I just put her out of her misery. I think I asked this. Do you feel bad that you shot her? >> Yeah, of course. >> But then you just said that you kind of just put her out of her misery. >> Yeah, I did. So, do you think shooting her helped her? >> What? >> Do you think shooting her you helped her in the long run? >> No. >> That's not my choice to make. It's not my choice. That's God's choice. Nice really good sandwich. These chips are awesome. Do >> you still So, do you still work at North? till I killed Siri. Yes. >> What's the last day you worked? Well, I had to take some time off for for mental reasons. >> How long was that? >> 30 days. I mean, what was that about? >> PTSD from the military. >> What triggered it? >> Well, what TST? >> Mhm. I was on my rack and I was going to sleep. This was 1988. We got infiltrated. And so I just I just like this guy was on me choking choking me out. >> Where was this? >> Well, actually it was in of all places in Port Wikham. And then 30 days ago, something brought the PTSD back. I mean, brought it to where you had to take time off. >> Yep. >> What was that? What caused that to bring back those that triggered your PTSD? [sighs] I guess this one doesn't make too much sense, but just uh Just a choking thing. >> What? What choking happened in the hospital? Tell me about that. >> The hospital. >> Mhm. The incident at the hospital. I'm sorry, but they gave me some medication. I couldn't breathe. >> And then with that, it brought back you had a flashback. And >> Mhm. So, is there anything else you want to tell us? Well, I guess there's that much to say. >> No, that you just basically you kind of told us that you just came home after the hospital, grabbed your gun, you shot her. >> Yep. >> I couldn't even stand straight. >> She said there was three or four hours. >> You should see that. I wasn't even I was staggering. I left the hospital. >> Mhm. >> But what do you remember in between that time once you got back to the house? >> She tried to put me to bed. Oh, there I don't worry about it. We have people to clean up, so no worries. >> Okay, cool. >> Yeah. I don't really remember much about that morning. I only remember getting released. She didn't think I should have been. She was right. should not have been. Should not have been released from the hospital. I was shaking so bad. They gave me a bunch of drugs there. And the drugs are for the pain management. Do you think >> some? Yes, sir. I had like a I was passing a kidney stone. It's really painful. But they also when I came in my alcohol level was 235. So for that they gave me a bunch of larazzipam which was not a good idea. So basically what happened I think when right comes down to it everything does I was like released from the hospital too soon. Well and what they did to me there contributed for sure to me shooting Siri. I would never do that. Never. >> But then you also make comments about shooting that other guy for flirting. You said you were going to kill him. >> Well, yeah, I did. And he left the country. >> So if he didn't leave the country, you said you would have killed him, right? >> Yeah. So if you can kill him and have no no doubts about it, >> what makes me believe that you would do the same thing if you felt that you were going to lose her >> and she has nothing else to live for because you even you even said that with her enzyme liver enzymes you were basically >> well >> taking care of it yourself. >> Well, she was going to die. >> Yeah. So you shot her. No, that was not why I already told you about that. You about the Colin thing was over here and Colin like circling the drain. He left the country which was good for him cuz I would have shot him for sure. I basically I told her I would shoot him. You just don't mess with the army guy. Not like that. So, Ron, can we go back to, you know, we were talking about what you remember happened and you feel that whatever they gave you at the hospital contributed to this, but can we go back to when you got out of the hospital, what what you remember happening? >> If you wouldn't mind to please call me Sam. >> Sam? Yes. >> Yes, sir. >> You go by Sam? >> Yes, sir. >> I do. I don't remember much after I got out of the hospital. I was like really really under the influence, you know. I couldn't even, you know, my hands wouldn't even work. So that's what I remember her basically was getting out and she said that well you don't look right. She wanted she was very angry at them for releasing me. You want us to open that for you, >> please? >> So, she was angry. >> The hospital. Yes. >> Okay. Maybe. Thank you. No problem. I just I really don't remember anything. I'm getting out of the hospital. Remember her saying though she really was a nurse. She was really disappointed in them to release somebody that couldn't even function. But you do remember getting the gun. >> Yep. >> You do remember following her with the gun >> and shooting her in the back. >> Yep. >> Remember that? How could you not remember that? >> Okay. And again, it sounds like what was the conversation before you shot her again? Because we did that a while back. It was about her parents coming there and [clears throat] [cough] well the conversation was that [cough] [clears throat] we were still a couple, you know, and that this thing that was happening was just only for I mean her parents fly and they got their own aircraft and stuff and they're rich people, right? The soul family. They're the richest family for sure in Okaden. And all these people come in, they want to use the house, but we were living in the house. when she was desperately ill with COVID about ready to die. And one day I gave her Oh, that looks bad. One day she was so sick that I gave her an IV at home to save her life basically cuz she was pale. She looked really bad. So I nursed her through all this time that she had the COVID thing. And her family came and met me. They flew out just to meet me. And then when her mom left, she said like, "Welcome to the family." This is what she said. Welcome to the family. Then all of a sudden she's talking about, well, you know, you need to go for a few days, you know, and that's okay. I mean, that was when you got back from the hospital, right? She said that. >> Oh, I was way before that. >> It was okay. >> Oh, yeah. And so what was the conversation that you guys were having right before the shooting? What were you guys talking about? I >> really can't remember. It was I was like completely I was just mad at her. >> Why were you mad at me? Well, because what she was saying because her mother before they flew out on their own Cessna, right? It's like a 210 turbo. And so when I left the airport, I helped her mom into the plane. She said, "Welcome to the family." I thought that meant like, "Welcome to the family." That's what most people think about something like that. Why would you say that? I even told her that I just like build us a little house. There's a property next door or just go down in the basement or do anything else like that. cuz I just didn't want to be away from her at all cuz she was the only love of my life. Do you think the family was pushing you away from her? >> No, they said she said welcome to the family. >> But they wanted you out of the house, too. just for a while. It was okay, you know. I was living there and they know it and they came and visited. I was living there for sure the time. So, uh I'm take I was taking care of the place. It's like a beautiful property. It's like it's got to be the best property in on Oyos. >> So, you had a lot to lose if the family didn't accept you. >> No, I had my own place here. >> But you said it wasn't a good enough place >> for somebody that your age without living off the grid and without water and stuff like I don't have plumbing indoors right now. Ouch. >> So, you would it would probably be a big change from where you were staying if you went back to your place. >> Oh, yeah. To the Zoo home. James Zozo home. >> Yeah. Going back to where I live. Bam. big change. >> And that's why you shot her because you had a chance to not be there anymore. >> Just she didn't want me to be there all the time. That was the conversation. >> And that and that basically triggered you to feel that if she didn't have you or you didn't have her 100% of your time that you're just going to kill her. a shooter. >> That not me. >> Okay. I just want to hear from you what what it means because I'm trying to get trying to figure out what would lead somebody to shoot somebody. >> Well, we should go back to the hospital thing. They released me from the hospital. on heavily medicated. Heavily medicated. Can I have just please little more water? There you go. heavily medicated. Just shaking so bad. Couldn't even walk. Still can't hardly walk. That's been a couple days. Oh no. When did I shoot her? What does the corner say? Oh, she was on coals, right? Here you go. Thank you, sir. Thank you. So, we're we're trying we're trying to find out the why, correct? It's like we're trying to make some sense of this. >> I told you already. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that they released me from the hospital and I was heavily medicated to the point where I would do something like this. >> Okay. I'm I'm not trying to agitate you, Sam. Um, but we you kind of started down that road saying that, you know, you felt that the medication had something to do with it, but we had we hadn't we hadn't heard the full why. So that's your understanding of why is is the way you were medicated. Is that correct? >> Well, I was medicated with a bunch of Laurazipam, high doses of it for no reason, I guess. >> How long were you at the hospital? at Mid Valley. >> I'm really not sure. >> Yeah. You don't remember. Was it a full day or hours or >> No, it was I was in I was admitted to the hospital. So >> So you were there for Yeah. So you were in the general ward area. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And what since you you're being a nurse? >> Yes. >> What was the pain regimen? How many hours do they come in and give you stuff for that? >> Well, I got a couple doses of morphine. At least at least two. Probably more. Is that what this is from your IV? >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. >> They were hacks. I would never do that. >> Why did you go to Mid Valley instead of North Valley? >> Cuz I work there. >> Okay, it's understandable. >> So, what was your You didn't answer. What was your last day that you worked? two weeks ago. >> Two weeks ago. >> Yes. I think so. >> And then you went you you took leave after that then >> I did I took FMLA. >> Oh, okay. >> For PTSD. >> Sure. >> And are you still in the ER? >> Yes. ER. ER nurse there. >> Yep. >> What shift do you usually work? >> Days. >> Days. >> How long you worked there? >> Uh for three and a half years. >> Where were you at before? >> At Brewster. >> At Brewster. Okay. Yes, sir. Did I hear correctly? You're 72. >> 70. >> 70. >> How How much longer were you planning on working? >> I love it. >> Do you? >> No, not anymore. So, I guess I'm going to go to prison for the rest of my life. That's okay. But can I say that my attorney is Tony Castelda? >> Sure. >> Sure. >> Yeah. He's on my retainer. I've got it paid. >> Did you want to talk to Tony now? >> Well, no. >> There's not much to say. >> Well, since you mentioned your attorney, um I think under your rights, we can't talk anymore. >> Oh. just letting you know because you said that you have an attorney and he's on on there. So, just sit tight, enjoy your food, and um I'll be with you here in a second.
