The lady and her husband who saw the whole incident followed him in here. They're the ones that called the police. Hm. I had to flip around because he didn't look like he was going to stop. I was going to chase him down. And they saw and then he turned in here, so they turned in here and then I turned in and when I got out of the car, they were already on the phone with the police. And he was wiping like crazy to get the vomit and whatever else was on him off. >> Yeah. >> But even my husband said, cuz I don't drink. Witnesses reported he drove on the wrong side of the road before crashing through a gate, striking a vehicle, and slamming into a tree. Although his breath test later registered .07, just below Florida's legal limit, officers concluded he was impaired based on the totality of the evidence, which is still prosecutable under Florida DUI law. Patrick later entered a no contest plea and was sentenced to 12 months of probation, a 6-month license suspension, and an ignition interlock device for 1 year.
